00:00:00.320 Hello, everyone. Thank you for so many of you already being here, anticipating the stream going live.
00:00:07.340 Of course, it's Wyatt Claypool here. Sorry for being a couple of minutes late.
00:00:12.000 I already have a super chat to read out, and I'm going to get to that one just as I'm getting in here.
00:00:18.420 King Odeon Old Man Milo says, for $10, thank you,
00:00:23.100 the hangover the carny liberals are going to get from the sugar high from stopping the latest trade deal will be much worse.
00:00:29.220 once people start to realize after all the business starts to close down well and i that's
00:00:34.480 where i think that they already are in danger a little bit it's just danger that they aren't
00:00:39.460 aware of yet as you were kind of saying that they don't realize the hangover they're going to have
00:00:43.840 after the sugar high there's going to be some canadians who flock to the liberals to say how
00:00:48.460 much they love them for all this at the same time you have business liberals which i would suspect
00:00:54.660 or about like a third of the liberal base if the stock market starts slipping and canadian
00:01:01.040 businesses start like you know failing they're not going to say elbows up yeah let's fight back 0.97
00:01:06.500 against trump who gives a crap that we're all basically uh you know we're all basically broke 0.96
00:01:11.900 it's okay we can put up with it because as long as we're making trump mad then it's okay 0.98
00:01:16.840 i don't think i think that is going to eventually hit mark carney hard even though this latest um
00:01:23.440 fight with Donald Trump is no doubt going to be helping him out a bit.
00:01:28.340 Stu,
00:01:29.020 Stu O,
00:01:31.160 Stu O Mason,
00:01:33.260 ST,
00:01:35.180 it's always weird trying to sound these things out.
00:01:38.620 Stu O Mason,
00:01:39.620 50 to 94 for $10 says,
00:01:41.740 how much more of Mark Carney's deal excesses can we take?
00:01:46.060 Canadians already got a bad deal in the last federal election.
00:01:49.800 Well,
00:01:50.060 and the funny thing is that we're currently fighting,
00:01:52.360 uh we're not even at the table anymore but like even the deal that carney was previously negotiating
00:01:59.040 and saying was a good deal would have still stuck us at 25 percent tariffs and i don't think that
00:02:04.680 that that's the floor i don't think that trump's uh administration isn't willing to go lower maybe
00:02:10.080 they are i think the problem that the carney liberals have is that they're unwilling to
00:02:16.020 actually put certain things on the table so 25 percent on steel and aluminum is the best we could
00:02:21.120 get. I'm going to get to the regular live chat in a second. I never expect super chats to be the
00:02:26.960 form of how people ask questions. I just make sure I run through them, obviously, because it would be
00:02:31.300 a bit of a slap in the face if you're like, here's five bucks and I have a question. And I'm like,
00:02:35.120 yeah. But Jessica Valiovsky, I'm going to call her Jessica. I'm terrible at reading the last
00:02:44.300 names uh for 279 thank you is there an election uh an election actually coming i don't think so
00:02:51.800 now a lot of people are speculating we're going to have an early election because mark carney and
00:02:57.220 the liberals uh in the negotiations this was leaked out by jasmine lane as well as kind of
00:03:04.360 indicated by jameson greer and some of his own interviews on cnbc they what they said was that
00:03:10.960 they're worried by signing a deal that their polling numbers would fall by like 5%. Now,
00:03:16.200 some people think that means early election. I don't. I think that they're more worried,
00:03:21.380 not that their numbers are going to fall by 5% temporarily. I think they're worried that their
00:03:26.880 numbers are going to fall by 5% permanently, because that's the only reason a lot of people
00:03:31.680 are voting liberals, because of the, as Milo said earlier, it's because of the sugar high
00:03:38.920 of the whole elbows up stuff, you know, that they're going to have a big hangover after
00:03:42.960 this sugar high is over, but the liberals need the sugar high to continue for potentially years
00:03:49.260 longer, simply because that's the only reason people actually, yeah, that's the only reason
00:03:55.940 people actually like them, is just because of the anti-Trump stuff.
00:04:00.620 uh and it says uh red sector seven says candle walked away after lutnik stepped in in the last
00:04:10.200 hour with completely unrealistic demands greer and carney already had a deal worked out except
00:04:15.860 the new york time says that it was actually carney who stepped in and it's not even that
00:04:22.660 it's actually carney i think what it is it's it's everyone still negotiating at the very end
00:04:28.300 both sides are trying to make deals at the very end and each side might be getting triggered by
00:04:34.780 the other one to ask for more stuff you ask for more stuff uh you know in exchange for this and
00:04:40.860 but if okay well if you want that thing then you're gonna have to give me this and the whole
00:04:44.600 point is that both sides kept asking for more things up until the last second i still think
00:04:49.280 it's kind of carney's fault for walking away he could have just said clearly we're not at a deal
00:04:54.280 yet so let's have a seven week let's have a week long or two week long extension because we're
00:04:59.180 getting somewhere we just need to hammer out these fine details he was still the one who ended up
00:05:04.740 just walking away completely triggering the stupid bun fight that we're now in but red sector um but
00:05:11.800 yeah so i i don't see it as being strictly lutnik's problem lutnik doesn't even really have the 0.77
00:05:17.880 ability to make demands because in america the trade kind of issue is split between two different
00:05:25.520 departments and so lutnik cannot force something onto the american demand sheet that greer doesn't
00:05:32.000 want to be on there or that trump doesn't want to be on there and so it's at the end of the day
00:05:37.500 almost still doesn't matter because either the deal sucked it for in the first place when mark
00:05:43.420 Carney was lying earlier on when he was pretending it was a great deal, or the deal was good and they
00:05:48.400 shut it down because of China and all the cultural policies that they didn't want touched, or I think
00:05:54.420 the most realistic option is everything here is a little bit more in the middle than either side
00:06:00.480 would probably want to admit to. Justice Taney says Carney never wanted a deal. He wanted to
00:06:10.140 humiliate Trump and insult Americans. I mean, Justice Tawny.
00:06:14.680 I said that wrong earlier.
00:06:23.340 King Odie says, I can't stand how much water
00:06:26.380 the legacy media is carrying. The legacy media is
00:06:29.260 in constant amnesia. You're right, because I loved how right after
00:06:33.920 Mark Carney walked away, they're like, good on him because the deal sucked.
00:06:37.580 I'm like, they never forced Carney to sit down and say, what were you guys saying was so good
00:06:43.240 about the deal until you pulled out? What was excellent about it? And what changed? Because
00:06:48.480 I would say the thing that he seems to be looking over the 25% aluminum and steel tariffs, that was
00:06:54.480 the bad part. That's what makes the deal very mixed. 7% autos. I can accept that we can fit.
00:07:00.140 We can work with that. We can give some, I don't want to make it subsidies. Liberals would probably
00:07:05.180 subsidies, I would make it a tax break for the auto sector to make up for that 7% export subsidy.
00:07:13.380 You know, every car that you sell into the US where you have that 7% export tax on your vehicle,
00:07:19.240 we will give you a credit to be able to save that money on your taxes in Canada. We could do that.
00:07:24.400 Now, it's a little more difficult with steel and aluminum when it's 25%. That's really high.
00:07:28.400 That's where I think certain things should be on the table, like ripping up the China deal saying,
00:07:32.760 okay, no Chinese EVs are in our economy. Now, take the aluminum and steel and bring it down
00:07:39.520 to 13% or something like that where we could conceivably make up for that loss. You know,
00:07:46.580 hey, if steel is still too high, maybe we can just use it to build more cars and then we can
00:07:51.060 import those cars with a lower tariff than if we were just sending raw steel and aluminum across
00:07:55.960 the border. Maybe we could do something like that. I just think that right now certain elements of
00:08:00.480 the deal are not good enough. But my problem with Carney is he doesn't seem to understand
00:08:04.520 what the good parts are and what the bad parts are. He seems to have a completely inverted opinion.
00:08:16.480 Whiskey, WiseKyle0800 says, New York Times got a look at the proposed deal, 7% tariffs on auto,
00:08:24.240 zero on wood, and 10% steel and aluminum. I think if the 10% on steel and aluminum is right,
00:08:30.140 and this is why we need the full deal i have seen it i've seen it quoted and it's probably just
00:08:35.100 because of unreliable narrators not liars but just people who don't quite don't someone says
00:08:42.320 something to them and gets misinterpreted i've heard seven across the board i've heard seven on
00:08:46.900 autos 25 on steel and aluminum i've heard the 10 on steel and aluminum as well and then if you hit
00:08:52.700 a certain quota then it jumps up to 25 but i think the consistent thing we have heard is zero on 0.97
00:08:58.060 softwood which makes david eby a complete sputtering moron you don't have an auto sector 0.96
00:09:06.320 you don't really have you don't i don't think that bc has an auto sector i'm gonna correct 0.97
00:09:11.380 myself i'm not sure if they do they definitely aren't really in steel and aluminum dude why are
00:09:17.240 you wanting the deal scuttled david it would have benefited you like okay let's say you're not
00:09:24.000 thinking of the full scope of the country but you think you would say i'm satisfied with this
00:09:28.040 deal, but I'm not going to take it because I know it's bad for Ontario. He's just acting like it was
00:09:32.520 bad for British Columbia when British Columbia, in a certain sense, would get off completely
00:09:36.900 scot-free based on that deal. Sorry, I'm going to try and catch up as I go. I obviously always
00:09:44.460 take the super chats because, again, you can't ignore them. I always like to try and get to main
00:09:49.500 chat as well because I don't want anyone to feel like you have to contribute to the channel or
00:09:53.920 you're like no question for you like i'm the question nazi here uh sima down says for five
00:10:02.500 bucks ahoy watching from boomerville nova scotia god help us uh and the thing was i the thing is
00:10:09.900 this i know people that immediately reminds me of the oas thing the conservatives did in
00:10:15.420 chickatimi left fjord i always i think that the way that you win provinces or ridings back that
00:10:22.640 have a higher senior population? Because I bet a lot of you are over the age of 60.
00:10:28.080 You probably would also attest to me, OAS doesn't make you a conservative, clearly not. If you were
00:10:33.320 an OAS-focused voter, you'd be voting liberal. If you want to get people to vote conservative
00:10:38.100 in these provinces or ridings with a higher overall older population, just a higher average
00:10:44.580 age, it's the same thing that you do everywhere else. Taxes, family values, cutting immigration 0.86
00:10:52.780 more, basically societal stability. That's what anyone wants who would ever consider voting
00:10:58.900 conservative. But sometimes conservatives think like, well, let's stick our fishing line over in
00:11:03.780 the pool that the liberals are fishing in. And it's like, you don't have, you're never going to
00:11:07.520 have a bite. Because the thing is that people who want to vote liberal have a specific set of issues
00:11:13.080 that interest them. The people who want to vote conservative have another set of views that
00:11:17.640 interest them. Now, there's some crossover people, but it's so dumb to be trying to chase 0.99
00:11:22.240 liberal OAS voters when you should be going after free market conservatives, social conservatives,
00:11:29.120 cultural conservatives, people want to restrict immigration, deport welfare cheats, stuff like
00:11:34.460 that. Go for those voters. Stop trying to chase these voters who are obviously always going to 0.99
00:11:39.060 get outbid you're you're always going to get outbid for by the liberals um some marks carney
00:11:47.740 says let's watch the video of rob ford smoking crack and trying to rap know what honestly if he
00:11:53.120 was here he'd probably be far more helpful to the situation that doug ford is you notice how doug
00:11:57.820 ford had to start walking back what he was saying about donald trump because he was clearly making
00:12:02.220 a fool of himself and like he even said oh you know things got a little hot yesterday between
00:12:06.700 me and Donald Trump. I'm like, Trump often starts fights. He really didn't start that one. And they 1.00
00:12:13.120 can say, oh, it goes back to the, oh my goodness, it goes back to the tariffs. And that's why I'm
00:12:19.600 mad. It's like, okay, sure. The tariffs already happened like a year and a half ago. At some
00:12:23.220 point you had to be able to control your emotions so we can get to work. But people are like, I'm
00:12:28.320 mad. I'm damn mad. And I have a right to be mad. Like, okay, no one's saying you don't have a right 0.74
00:12:33.740 to be mad sure sure you can be how about we focus on a win here this is the board game we're playing
00:12:40.440 play it by the rules sasquatch chronicles for 4099 thank you for that i just joined the stream
00:12:46.480 i don't have great service i'm water skiing on lake america this place is awesome yeah so
00:12:51.840 that's that set me up for something that just happened so between in the during the fight
00:12:56.140 between uh doug ford and and uh donald trump again i don't think it's productive i'm always
00:13:02.320 going to laugh at something that's funny is in the middle of it Donald Trump said that I'm going to
00:13:06.420 rename Lake Ontario Lake America because he hates Ontario Premier Doug Ford that much. So you know
00:13:12.580 not productive but funny but it was funny. Justice Tawny says how could Carney have had a deal worked
00:13:22.380 out when he when he had only just flown back from Italy? Well obviously has a team doing it but that
00:13:28.580 opens up the the the conversation of why did we make you the leader why are you the prime minister
00:13:36.920 who was supposed to be the grand negotiator like the person that we should be throwing in the fight
00:13:41.640 to hammering the table trying to get the best deal possible why are you the guy we're throwing in the
00:13:46.860 fight when as the grand negotiator when you're gonna be off in italy it's not even the same
00:13:50.700 time zone he'll be asleep when the negotiating is going on so as as ryan from northern perspective
00:13:57.500 has pointed out you are a an appendage in all of this he's not needed in the room i thought we were
00:14:04.140 electing him because he was going to be in command leading the troops in the negotiating room really
00:14:09.100 putting everything on the line and showing that he's in control because i here's the thing with
00:14:14.060 trump he likes personal attention from other powerful individuals obviously trump on this
00:14:19.340 planet is the most powerful because he's the president of of the united states but the trump
00:14:24.860 You need a soft touch with Trump. He's a bit of a bore sometimes. He can be a bulldozer in
00:14:30.920 conversations. He can be kind of crude and rude and all that stuff. But he likes it when people
00:14:38.040 like him. He even will say nice things about Kim Jong-un. And people say, like, he'll say good
00:14:43.500 things about Kim Jong-un. Why should we want him to like us? It's like, guys, use that as a roadmap.
00:14:48.260 Even Kim Jong-un can make Donald Trump like him. Because guess what? Make him feel special. Make
00:14:52.960 him feel important. Make him feel like you as a leader of a country are giving extra special
00:14:58.420 attention to getting this deal and make sure that he feels like you're giving him probably more than
00:15:04.020 you should be. But I need those tariff rates lower or I can't go back to Canada with 25%
00:15:09.560 steel and aluminum. Hey, your aluminum steel producers, they had 0% tariffs before this
00:15:15.000 current term of yours. They'll survive on 13 or 12. But you need to give me 12 or I can't give
00:15:21.240 you this like that's what Carney should be doing and say you're right you know what you are right
00:15:25.520 you have been paying for our security even if you don't believe it just act as if you know he's doing
00:15:31.400 you a favor a little bit and you know really this is a great win for both of us and whatnot Trump
00:15:37.360 likes feeling like he's winning so but Carney refuses that because he wants the voter in Canada
00:15:43.080 who wants like Trump on his knees crying for forgiveness to Mark Carney and it's like I'm
00:15:48.960 sorry guys that's not going to happen you are not going to get like donald trump in a losing
00:15:54.540 position and it's not because oh you can't donald trump's the negotiating king nobody can ever
00:16:00.340 negotiate him because he's the president of the united states you could be a terrible negotiator
00:16:04.880 you could be joe biden and you will still win a trade negotiation because you're the president
00:16:09.760 of the united states and you can just say no to stuff and it doesn't hurt you you have so much
00:16:14.100 leverage um destroyed uh just uh says for 279 thank you hey gang well hey destroyed everyone
00:16:23.200 say hi to him uh people saying ahoy and whatnot thank you for everyone for showing up so far
00:16:28.700 uh why at late pool i wasn't that late i was two minutes late
00:16:33.700 gram cowan uh f8x i assume this is uh sarcastic it was so nice one oh yeah no no it's not sarcastic
00:16:43.140 you're talking about the few days before the trade deal fell through it was so nice when
00:16:46.980 doug ford went quiet for a few days there i agree diane martin 435 uh member for two months thank
00:16:54.420 you for that says good evening from son i assume that means southwestern ontario that's very much
00:17:01.220 becoming blue country these days it's that's the funny thing in the last election it wasn't that
00:17:05.540 like the liberals won because canada was very liberal different parts of canada went more red
00:17:10.260 and different parts went more blue so that's why polly have lost it was just the suburban culture
00:17:16.740 the suburban government worker heavy culture of carlton and for someone like ferrari in peterboro
00:17:23.700 those suburban areas suburban uptight government worker heavy heavy areas went liberal working
00:17:29.140 class southwestern ontario went very very blue just check check out windsor tecumseh and places
00:17:35.060 like that. Libby5479 for $5 says, I think he walked away because of the by-elections he was
00:17:43.340 dropping in the polls. And you're right. And I'm going to bring up the polls because unlike other
00:17:48.440 polls, these are actually stuff that I have a really good insight in. Not that I don't have
00:17:53.760 good insights on polls, but I mean, I have really good background knowledge of how these polls were
00:17:58.600 put together. I have to go to the Sherea Teest page. I'm going to go up onto the PolyWave
00:18:03.940 website. In a second, you'll understand why I'm talking about these.
00:18:11.320 Okay, we're bringing them up. So, I know Moose on the Loose talked about these earlier today,
00:18:18.820 and I actually reached out to him, not for any bad reason, but just to give him extra insights
00:18:24.340 on these polls. So we're looking at Beaches, East York here. This is the federal by-election
00:18:30.420 happening in the Toronto area. This is kind of old Toronto, deep red area. We're not going to win.
00:18:37.080 But as Moose on the Loose correctly said, obviously not that I had to hear this from him,
00:18:41.660 I already knew this, not that I'm now trying to undermine him, but you get my point. I just don't
00:18:45.180 want to imply that this is new for me, but he just did a good presentation of it, is all I'm saying
00:18:50.520 here. And by the way, as you will see here, the sponsor of these three by-election polls is the
00:18:56.700 National Telegraph. I did it because I really like Sherey Attiste and his other polling polywave
00:19:02.780 firm partners. They're really good guys. They're literally like 17 years old. These are super,
00:19:07.600 super young guys. I just believe in them. They're very good at what they do. So I paid for all three
00:19:12.140 of the polls that they conducted. And I knew a lot of these, I knew these writings, they're very
00:19:16.760 likely to go liberal. Two out of the three are very likely to go liberal. I would just say
00:19:21.220 Beach's East York is obviously going to go liberal. There's no way it doesn't. Chico Chimi
00:19:25.120 Le Fjord is going to be a knife fight between the Bloc Quebecois and the liberals. That was an
00:19:29.360 incumbent conservative riding, but Richard Martell leaving just basically made it so that the
00:19:34.080 conservatives had no chance. Who wants to show up to vote in another conservative after the last
00:19:39.020 one just left for no reason? But as you can see, though, and remember that we conducted this with
00:19:46.140 IVR, which is the easiest way of getting a really solid sample in a very tight area. We have 538
00:19:53.240 people responding to this poll alone, just in Beaches, East York. Remember, IVR tends to over
00:19:59.380 poll the left a little bit, and it under polls the right. But what we see on the left, regardless,
00:20:05.160 is that the Liberals are down by 12.6%, and the NDP is up by 13.8, and the Greens are up by 1.3.
00:20:14.320 I think that Jim Cybrose is actually probably going to do as well as he did last election,
00:20:19.180 if not a little better.
00:20:20.480 They've been taking the riding quite seriously.
00:20:22.780 The Conservatives, they have not been taking the by-elections for granted, which I'm happy
00:20:27.440 with, even if you're not going to win.
00:20:28.820 Jim Cybrose is not going to win.
00:20:30.320 He knows he's not going to win.
00:20:31.700 But what you want to do is put on a really good showing while the Liberals are starting
00:20:35.080 to bleed support over to their left flank.
00:20:38.560 North Vancouver Capilano, again, Liberals are down 13.
00:20:42.740 NDP's up 7.7. Greens are up 9.1. And I actually believe from all the insider knowledge I have of
00:20:49.140 the Stephen Curran campaign, he's not just going to get 13.3. This is just a consequence of IVR,
00:20:55.040 giving a more liberal, more mainstream media viewing audience. The Liberals' last election
00:21:03.640 had gotten 57% of the vote, 59% actually in this riding. And they're down like 13% or so.
00:21:11.460 They're way further down than they used to be.
00:21:14.480 And people are saying, oh, the Liberals are still winning, so what's the point?
00:21:18.200 The point is, this isn't a riding in a federal election that the Conservatives need to win.
00:21:22.340 But if the Liberals are losing 13 points in those two ridings,
00:21:27.700 that maybe the losses aren't going to be as acute across the whole Lower Mainland or the whole GTA.
00:21:33.580 But Eglinton-St. Lawrence, or Eglinton-Lawrence, I think that's it,
00:21:38.680 some of those ridings were within a few hundred votes they were within one percent of the vote
00:21:43.640 and if the liberals are losing 13 in beaches east york they don't have to lose a lot to the
00:21:47.580 ndp or the greens in some of these other areas for the conservative simply maintaining its vote
00:21:52.540 from last election to walk up the middle and win the riding so yeah uh i can move on from there but
00:21:58.740 i'm going to do individual videos on those polls in on a later date we'll go on the whiteboard and
00:22:04.420 I'll kind of explain the nuances as well as what the polls could look like if we have a more
00:22:09.300 aggressive assumption that the IVR is picking up more liberals than probably exist. Because
00:22:13.940 I have the raw data. There's a lot of liberal votes who were voting liberal who are not voting
00:22:20.460 liberal this time. I mean, like 75% only of liberals are still voting liberal, and this is
00:22:28.620 not counting undecideds, because undecideds just tend to not show up. Conservatives are holding
00:22:34.340 on to like 95 percent of their vote there are no conservatives to my knowledge other than one who
00:22:39.240 was voting conservative and voted conservative last time is going back to the NDP like they
00:22:43.460 probably were in the 21 election conservatives if they're voting are either undecided or still
00:22:49.260 voting conservative which probably means they're all voting conservative and they just didn't want
00:22:52.360 to say who they're voting for this time um but uh snaff food uh yeah snaff food one here for 279
00:23:00.920 says, China-da, which obviously is a reference to the fact that our current trade predicament
00:23:06.500 is somewhat influenced by the fact that we refuse to give up our terrible China deal.
00:23:17.960 So Robert Bannon here says, is someone saying there is some proof Howard Lutnick tanked it?
00:23:22.960 Now, there's not proof. There's evidence that he would have been involved and even been a slightly
00:23:27.700 disruptive bulldog in the negotiations, but that's just kind of Howard Lutnick. There's no specific
00:23:33.520 evidence that he said anything that actually derailed stuff. And at the end of the day,
00:23:38.220 I would always say, I'm not trying to arbitrarily blame Carney, but he's the one who walked away
00:23:42.960 from the table. He could have used other cards. Hey, you guys want to make last minute changes,
00:23:47.380 even though both of them sound like they're making last minute changes, or both are just lying
00:23:50.900 and Carney just walked away despite no last minute changes happening. Carney's still the
00:23:57.180 who walked away instead of saying, hey, all these last minute changes probably mean that we need to
00:24:02.060 have another week to talk. How about we extend it one more week? How about we do that? Unless you
00:24:06.260 guys do this again at the very last minute, then we'll maybe need another week. Carney could do
00:24:10.100 that and he wouldn't look like the bad guy in front of Americans. In front of Americans, and you have
00:24:15.520 to consider what the other side's people think, they see Mark Carney as not having gotten exactly
00:24:22.260 what he wanted last second and completely walked away as the country with less leverage and then 0.98
00:24:27.080 getting into a bun fight with donald trump with doug fort saying you can kiss my butt and all this
00:24:31.600 stuff and like you know taking big swings at him and threatening to turn the power off to 1.5 0.92
00:24:38.120 million americans over the border which is kind of a problem that could kind of be considered a
00:24:44.620 bit of a war crime now that's i'm being a little hyperbolic but you can't just shut off the power
00:24:49.540 to 1.5 million people you know there's hospitals there who might need it but yeah um
00:24:56.580 yeah not enough toys 1364 says i think i saw navarro say that he wanted more but they were
00:25:07.240 okay with what greer came up with and that's what i had seen too which made it they never felt like
00:25:11.940 there was ever we never really got any idea that the americans were dissatisfied with how things
00:25:16.700 were really going they seemed pretty happy with the deal for some reason carney's people sounded
00:25:21.520 happy with the deal i played the clip the other day uh where vashi capellos on ctv news was saying
00:25:27.280 uh like you know the carny liberals were saying this was a great deal up until like an hour ago
00:25:32.700 when the deal fell through that feels a little odd like really you guys were satisfied with 24
00:25:39.000 percent tariffs on steel aluminum and then when he had to cite what was wrong with it he's like ah
00:25:43.160 our language and cultural like sovereignty it's like bill c11 and c18 matter that much to you
00:25:51.020 It was just on Ezra Levant's show today that Ambassador Pete Hoekstra said, like, we don't care.
00:25:57.140 You guys can keep any policies you want.
00:25:58.860 We just don't want to pay any taxes.
00:26:00.700 We just don't want to have any of our companies hindered in their ability to operate in the market because of that.
00:26:06.400 If you guys want French language packaging and whatnot, sure.
00:26:10.580 You have to pay for that, though, because that's an imposition on our market that we've never asked you to do.
00:26:15.980 We don't ask you to put Spanish on things coming from the Canadian side to the American side.
00:26:21.020 uh sean stevenson 9929 says can we get pierre a new suit please i do think he still needs to
00:26:29.780 wear more color that is something i will always stand by and sean is with me on that jihad
00:26:34.340 um vrendir sidu for uh 8420 says for five bucks like a wise man named brian mulrooney said uh
00:26:44.080 more deals better than no deal is better than a bad deal. Carolina, Mark Mulroney for prime
00:26:51.120 minister. I don't agree with them for being prime minister. I know no deal is better than a bad
00:26:56.920 deal. But the problem is, and this is a great point, it's not that none of us have thought of
00:27:00.680 it. He just put it a very good way. Chris Baker on baked on things made a really good point that
00:27:06.100 you had a year and a half. If you wanted to push for a deal and say, I don't like that. Let's go
00:27:11.540 back to the drawing board. This sucks. I'm walking out. We'll come back next week and think of 0.99
00:27:15.420 saying else. Mark Carney could have taken a lot more kicks at the can. He could have been laying
00:27:20.760 out a far more intricate trade strategy over the last year and a half, taking far more opportunities
00:27:26.300 to try and get to a deal over this time. And so far, we've tried twice, basically. We never really
00:27:32.640 tried in July 2025. We kind of tried in October. And then we tried now in a desperate rush to beat
00:27:40.000 a deadline that we apparently don't care about at the end of the day like why have we been wasting
00:27:46.020 this much time engaging in inane talks with other countries to say how hey yo we should trade more
00:27:53.160 with benin we should trade more with indonesia why were we wasting time with that carney flew
00:27:58.940 out to those countries to sign trade agreements that are not binding that require nothing to
00:28:04.500 happen anytime soon and we celebrate that at the same time he flies to italy during the american
00:28:10.240 talks despite the fact that he showed up in person for negotiations with indonesia is indonesia a
00:28:17.060 more important partner like come on barking up the right tree uh just joined as a youtube member
00:28:23.780 well thank you for that that's really helpful for helping sustain the youtube channel
00:28:27.480 someone says hi from regina fantastic yeah and and uh the da uh confirms any auto sector in bc
00:28:38.180 is tiny and niche i assume it's probably more like luxury vehicles or kind of luxury car parts and
00:28:43.800 stuff like that no no heavy industrial manufacturing people are saying eb's a fool
00:28:49.020 absolutely uh i want to try and start catching up a little bit more here uh vince of new scotland for
00:28:56.220 $10. Thank you, Vince. What do you think the chances are that Carney backtracks in a couple
00:29:01.540 months to get back to the table and make a deal? Honestly, I think it's more likely he's going to
00:29:05.540 backtrack in like a week or two here. Because really, although people keep saying, well,
00:29:10.600 50% tariffs on 5% more goods is really not that big of a deal. And it's like, okay,
00:29:16.680 yeah, but we have not that big of a deal being layered on top of things that were kind of a big
00:29:21.100 deal or a really big deal. It all adds up and it makes our economy more and more weak over time.
00:29:27.060 And I think it's going to be the business guys, the investors who are going to approach Carney
00:29:31.280 and say, hey, you've had your fun. You've had your elbows up moment. Now get a flipping deal
00:29:37.140 before I like throw you off a building, before we throw you off the CN Tower. Please sign something,
00:29:43.820 not a bad deal, but sign a good deal or at least a decent deal in the next month. Because the
00:29:50.960 problem is he can keep saying I don't want to sign a bad deal I only want to sign good deals 0.89
00:29:54.560 then try then try and sign a good deal stop like desperately throwing together a crap deal at the
00:30:02.020 last second before a deadline and then not liking it and then pulling out after he was previously
00:30:07.120 saying he did like it all his negotiators and spokespeople before he pulled out were saying it
00:30:11.820 was great so what were the great parts and what were the bad parts that's what he still won't say
00:30:16.660 and that's why he doesn't want the official text of the deal out.
00:30:21.480 The DA says, Boomer here, and I can't stand the Liberals. 0.99
00:30:25.320 Immoral, degenerate liars, the CPC has shown to be more 1.00
00:30:28.480 mostly hosers still trying to find a spine. 1.00
00:30:33.900 And I think that the Conservatives really, really, again, need 1.00
00:30:36.700 bolder policies to run on at this point.
00:30:40.800 Mr. Distance says, why, late to his own party, Claypool.
00:30:44.900 Yes, I was fashionably late for the stream by two minutes. 0.98
00:30:49.480 Yeah, Stu Olmason says someone must have told Doug to shut his big mouth.
00:30:57.560 No doubt, because he climbed down really fast today saying, oh, wow, it got heated on both sides.
00:31:03.280 It's like, yeah, take accountability for yourself.
00:31:06.140 Stop doing this whole like both sides thing.
00:31:08.080 Did it happen on both sides? 0.99
00:31:09.660 Yeah, you were also the one who started telling someone to put their lips to your butt. 0.97
00:31:13.980 So maybe you should just solo apologize for now, not, you know, you know, motorcycle sidecar apologize alongside Donald Trump of saying we both said things. 0.98
00:31:23.380 Just say you said things and we just stick to that.
00:31:27.660 Cam T.J.R. for five dollars. Thank you for that.
00:31:30.720 What is your timeline prediction for the rest of 2026 and first half of 2027?
00:31:34.780 Will we have job losses again in 2027?
00:31:36.940 I think we'll have job losses again in 2026.
00:31:39.660 Again, so many of the jobs created this year,
00:31:43.480 they're real jobs, but they're temporary.
00:31:45.800 And the trade deal, the lack of trade deal,
00:31:48.900 maybe we will get back to the table.
00:31:50.460 That's another prediction I'm making.
00:31:52.560 I think it's going to be shorter,
00:31:54.140 like far closer in the future than later.
00:31:58.580 But I think we're going to see job losses already this year
00:32:01.140 because there's so many things we've completely screwed up on.
00:32:05.860 There's so many like...
00:32:09.240 things that the liberals have like just completely misinterpreted as being like permanent jobs like
00:32:14.040 we census jobs there's world cup jobs there's other summer jobs that don't actually get filtered
00:32:18.760 out by seasonal adjustments seasonal adjustments are borderline useless honestly i wish we would
00:32:25.640 stop seasonally adjusting jobs and we would just know that it's a big slurry of permanent part-time
00:32:31.240 and seasonal work and we'll figure it out afterwards because by doing a seasonal adjustment
00:32:35.960 that barely adjusts anything, it allows the liberals to pretend, oh, look, we created 77,000
00:32:40.940 jobs. And it's like, yeah, but probably we're going to lose a bunch of jobs come like September
00:32:47.500 and October and whatnot, especially now that the market's going to be far more bearish when it
00:32:52.260 comes to Canada's prospects. RaptorGuy86 for $5 says, Carney thinks he can rip off Trump.
00:32:59.400 Problem is Trump is not Rob Babcock, the former Raptors GM who gave Vince Carter away for nothing.
00:33:05.960 I'm not a sports guy
00:33:08.340 so other people can probably verify
00:33:10.120 that's a really good example
00:33:11.940 and you're in a certain
00:33:14.280 sense he thinks he can be tough like Trump
00:33:16.120 I think he thinks that he's going to be able to kind of
00:33:18.260 do the same sort of like
00:33:19.680 bulldoze work that Trump does rhetorically
00:33:22.420 you got to find your own style
00:33:24.160 and Carney despite pitching
00:33:26.240 himself as a negotiator is a very
00:33:27.960 shaky negotiator I never
00:33:30.240 see him as being a very strong person
00:33:32.160 Cindy Jordan says hey Wyatt
00:33:34.320 you were on fire last night
00:33:35.920 Little Timmy, no dinner for you. Go watch CBC Gem. Love that. You're awesome. Well, thank you for
00:33:40.960 watching that. Red Sector 7 says, who cares what the U.S. does? Let them tariff. We have the
00:33:48.800 natural resources. We can export tariff into the ground and run their economy into the toilet.
00:33:54.420 No, we can't. No, we can't. Because guess what? The United States has more export opportunities
00:34:00.080 than we do. We cannot replace them as quickly as they can replace us. Mark Warner made this
00:34:05.100 point the other day. He is a bright spot in all this. He is that trade expert who was on the CBC
00:34:10.680 talking about Canada's actual strengths. We have limited leverage here. Now, it doesn't mean we
00:34:17.120 have nothing, and we can use what we have to try and get to a good deal. But we can say, well,
00:34:21.720 who cares about the U.S.? Well, who cares about the U.S.? Well, we still have to send our stuff
00:34:26.180 somewhere. Now, again, I'm not saying we just have to roll over and accept them because we need
00:34:31.960 them. We can need them. They still somewhat need us, but we do need them more than they need us.
00:34:37.360 That's not a lie. That's not an unpatriotic propaganda line from the Americans. We trade
00:34:42.780 with them more. We are less economically powerful than they are. We don't have the port capacity
00:34:47.520 to export our way, you know, export our way to ship overseas to get rid of the U.S. as our top
00:34:55.520 customer. It's just never going to happen. And to get a proper deal, we need to focus on what 0.50
00:35:03.620 we need and value. We need lower tariffs on steel and aluminum. That deal still had it too high at
00:35:11.620 25%. We had to figure out what we're willing to give up in order to get the most value from those
00:35:18.980 concessions. That's why Carney is such an idiot. We gave a bunch of concessions away for nothing 1.00
00:35:23.320 when we could have put forward,
00:35:25.540 hey, I'll give you, I'll rip up the China deal.
00:35:27.820 I'll get rid of these censorship bills.
00:35:29.400 I'll get rid of the DST and the streaming tax
00:35:32.060 and I'll get rid, give you a portion
00:35:33.580 of the Gordie Howe bridge.
00:35:34.920 But steel and aluminum better be 11%, 12% tomorrow.
00:35:39.680 I need it to be 12, all cars at seven.
00:35:42.100 I can accept that for a few years
00:35:43.500 and then maybe I'll renegotiate
00:35:44.780 with a different president.
00:35:46.020 That's what you should be doing if you're Canada. 0.87
00:35:49.060 We can't just say, we can't just say piss off.
00:35:51.940 we're going to keep our resources to ourselves it's like well what are people going to do for
00:35:57.940 work what are they going to do we we can't just assume like politics people are not widgets who
00:36:03.200 can just be put on the sidelines and say just stop working for a bit while i sort this out for a year
00:36:07.500 that's just not how people work um and isabella uh isabella j7895 thank you very very very much
00:36:16.960 for the hundred dollar super chat and all you said was why you're really awesome and that's
00:36:21.100 amazing because you could have actually sent a very long message with a hundred dollars and i
00:36:25.400 will always try and spy out your comments from now on because thank you for that that very much
00:36:29.380 helps the channel out uh especially during the summer summer months they just kick you in the
00:36:33.380 face when it comes to ad rates and it's no one being unfair to me it's just the you know fact
00:36:37.940 of life probably you know talk shows in the 60s had their ad rates cut when it was the summertime
00:36:43.460 and people were out at the beach and not watching you know the late show or whatever with jackie
00:36:48.820 Gleeson or whoever was a show host back then. But thank you again, Isabel. That's very kind of you.
00:36:56.900 Lady British Canuck 01 says, I'm so sick of Trump derangement syndrome dominating everything. It's
00:37:02.700 so lazy and boring. And the thing, you'll have conservatives doing this thing of, oh, you're
00:37:08.980 siding with Donald Trump, the American government or the Canadian government over just asking to see
00:37:14.980 the deal. I just want to see what's in the deal so we can verify who's right and who's wrong.
00:37:21.360 Is that so much to ask for? Harrison Faulkner is doing this now. And he got into a fight
00:37:27.740 with Mario Zalaya, where I think, frankly, Mario Zalaya was just entirely right. Because there was
00:37:33.680 a story that came out where Trump had basically said, when asked by CNN, hey, did you make last
00:37:38.660 minute changes? He never said yes. He says, well, you know, that sounds like me. That just sounds
00:37:42.960 like Trump probably doesn't know. He's like, well, I tend to like to push at the end for more stuff.
00:37:47.920 Maybe he did. But the thing is that the New York Times has reported that Carney threatened to
00:37:53.040 take away the Keystone XL pipeline at the last minute unless he got something extra.
00:37:57.400 So at the very least, it sounds like both were doing the exact same thing. But Carney was still
00:38:02.340 the one who picked up his stuff and walked home, which means that he was the one who cut off the
00:38:08.220 line. Now, maybe it's a negotiating tactic, but he's done this a few times and it's never gone
00:38:12.560 anywhere 420 hitter for five dollars says hey i enjoy your polling breakdowns and opinions have
00:38:19.160 you consider have you considered using a green screen while out of town to keep the show the
00:38:24.360 studio look um no because maybe i've just never used a green screen i'm gonna be really honest
00:38:31.800 so i'd be a bit nervous about like how to set it up and making it look good what i might do
00:38:36.180 for the polling breakdowns and i just need to be less lazy about this like let's say when i go back
00:38:40.220 to victoria when i'm working for dallas brody at the bc legislature i should bring like a somewhat
00:38:45.480 big or i'll buy it there i'll buy like a somewhat big uh portable whiteboard and then i can kind of
00:38:52.420 write just holding it up myself you know writing in front of myself and then showing you guys the
00:38:58.100 stats i think that would be a fine replacement for being in a ghetto hotel studio setup uh like i
00:39:03.660 usually do uh it's always hard you always have to find hotels that have good wi-fi some just
00:39:08.520 have a flickery wi-fi and you'll sometimes notice with those episodes my video stalls out
00:39:14.240 or there's just the the quality of the video just switches to just garbage quality for a little bit
00:39:19.840 and it's always kind of annoying uh medical says i watch quiet for the lols i wonder if it was
00:39:28.200 because i don't i don't know what that means maybe the person previously was saying they'll like me
00:39:32.260 and they just like watching me for the laughs who knows or maybe they like watching me for the laughs
00:39:36.160 because maybe I'm funny.
00:39:37.740 I don't know.
00:39:40.040 Mark Nixon official actually gave Isabella a shout out.
00:39:43.260 Thank you for being here, Mark, for the $100 super chat
00:39:45.980 because although Isabella said I'm awesome, she's awesome,
00:39:49.600 and everyone is also reacting.
00:39:51.680 I wasn't even there to comment on it at the time,
00:39:53.300 and chat was already noticing it. 0.99
00:39:54.660 Yeah, people are all going hog wild for Isabella right now.
00:40:00.120 Yeah, see, there you go.
00:40:02.040 Yeah, Mark Nixon saying insane.
00:40:03.460 um yeah mark nixon in the house say so say thanks for swinging by mark yeah mark's here to support
00:40:11.600 me good i have an entourage uh raptor guy 86 thank you again for your five dollar super chat
00:40:16.620 after full foretold trump to kiss his rear trump should have said you mean like you do to mark
00:40:22.400 dougie uh i thought a lot i kind of like trump's response again i'm not i'm not trying to take
00:40:27.500 sides and like who's dunking on the person better and does that mean they're more right
00:40:31.940 The whole thing's childish. It's a stupid 1.00
00:40:33.820 bun fight. 1.00
00:40:35.760 I liked his Rob Ford thing, that he's
00:40:37.660 less charismatic and less
00:40:38.880 intelligent, less charismatic than the late
00:40:41.640 great Rob Ford, because, you know,
00:40:43.740 hey, I don't like the tariff
00:40:45.660 thing. Fact check through, though.
00:40:47.580 Rob Ford is far better. And then I
00:40:49.620 like some of the people posting the photo of Rob
00:40:51.560 Ford taking a photo with Donald Trump
00:40:53.440 back in 2016.
00:41:01.480 James Duggan 141 says, who here has read Carney's book? He's right on track, me thinks.
00:41:09.840 Yeah, so he's, of course, referencing the book Values. And he does make himself out to be just,
00:41:16.420 he is just, and I don't like overusing this word because sometimes people apply it to too many
00:41:20.380 things, but for Mark Carney, it fits. The man is a EU globalist. He doesn't like the United States.
00:41:27.680 I thought J.G. McCullough did a great article talking about Mark Carney when it came to these
00:41:34.420 negotiations. Mark Carney very obviously, like, philosophically hates the United States and
00:41:40.200 probably personally does too. That is why he's willing to basically engage in really stupid 1.00
00:41:46.500 negotiating tactics against the United States here, because he simply wants to basically create 0.98
00:41:52.880 bad headlines for the united states he wants to in somewhere in his soul it satisfies him
00:41:59.460 to be doing all this uh all this fighting with donald trump as if he's standing up to the 0.95
00:42:04.900 goliath he's standing up to leviathan in some way it's just so pathetic um 0.95
00:42:11.260 vince of new scotland says mark carney is a complete failure i i agree and adrian smolinski
00:42:18.500 says, nice cut, Wyatt. I agree with you, too. I always just get a different person to cut my
00:42:23.960 hair every time I go and cut my hair. I always go to a stylist instead of a barber, because I
00:42:28.320 always find barbers don't cut my hair properly. But yeah, it's good. I always get like a business
00:42:33.020 cut in some way, and then I always tell them I want it to last like two months, at least because
00:42:37.080 I don't like taking my hair cut often. I know some people do need to get their hair cut often,
00:42:42.600 just the way their hair grows. My hair grows if you cut it short enough. It takes two months,
00:42:46.900 It's two and a half months before it actually starts getting a bit out of hand.
00:42:54.080 Dan Levesque589 says, so why can't you answer my question?
00:42:59.160 Was that something previous?
00:43:01.420 Am I missing him saying something?
00:43:06.380 Why are you?
00:43:07.820 Is he arguing with somebody in chat and I'm just not picking up on this?
00:43:12.860 Did I miss him in some way?
00:43:15.420 I don't feel like I did.
00:43:16.900 did i miss this one one raptor guy 86 says my new name for doug ford is druggie fatso
00:43:23.660 i like that one that one's funny my friend daniel boardman had the name for him of uh of fat
00:43:30.640 trudeau which i always liked uh karen law 43 for 13.99 some of these old ones somehow i missed so
00:43:36.560 i have to go back um 13.99 thank you karen she's saying here did you see jasmine's video tonight
00:43:43.560 The U.S. has moved on and won't be making a deal with Canada and realize Carney never intended to make a deal and wants to bring us closer to China and the EU.
00:43:53.000 And too bad for Mark Carney.
00:43:54.780 He can't literally physically make us closer to those places because that's the only way he could replace the United States.
00:44:00.900 Someone made a funny AI image of the world map that Mark Carney seems to think exists, where Canada is like right on top of the EU and America is like really far away and we can just replace them if we want.
00:44:12.560 Now, yeah, Jasmine did say that.
00:44:15.180 Her video was about how, like, you know, the U.S. is done with us.
00:44:17.920 It's over.
00:44:19.160 Now, I think that's a negotiating tactic from Trump.
00:44:22.620 He's just going to act completely stoic about the whole thing, say, screw you anyways, and then move on and completely ignore us.
00:44:30.460 And then he's going to hope that Carney, and this is why I believe Carney, although he's pretending to be tough, he's going to be back in the negotiating table in a day or two.
00:44:38.860 Because if he was willing to hold out for a couple months, he'd let Doug Ford go off longer. Doug Ford would still be throwing haymakers at Trump, and they'd be wrestling on the ground, metaphorically.
00:44:50.980 The fact that he's basically had to walk back being a jerk that fast, being kind of very childish, tells me that it told me that probably Carney knows that he has to get back to the table pretty soon because Trump's serious about just ignoring him. 0.69
00:45:09.560 And again, it doesn't hurt his poll numbers that much. 0.87
00:45:11.700 Trevor Toombs, let's put this on screen.
00:45:14.740 Trevor Toombs, who actually was my overseeing professor for my master's degree research paper,
00:45:23.380 Trevor Toombs here posted this graphic, and he says,
00:45:28.560 Where do Canadian retaliatory tariffs land?
00:45:31.660 Based on all affected products on September 8th, including pre-existing tariffs,
00:45:36.140 here's the value of export times tariff rates as share of each state's GDP.
00:45:41.700 So we are currently affecting, with many of these states, like, at most, 0.34 in Michigan.
00:45:49.640 Elsewhere, like in Texas and California and elsewhere, we're literally not even doing 0.1.
00:45:55.120 We're doing 0.03, 0.01, 0.08, 0.13.
00:46:02.420 We're not hurting them at all.
00:46:04.540 Yes, that's the exports as a portion of their GDP.
00:46:07.060 So it's nothing to sneeze at that that might be a billion dollars or something like that in some of these states.
00:46:12.780 But it's something that they're going to weather far better than the very concentrated locales around Canada that the new tariffs are hitting hard in British Columbia, Quebec and Ontario.
00:46:24.680 Can Alberta and Saskatchewan only have like 1% goods affected by the new tariffs that were just put in place?
00:46:31.520 So that's a very, very important chart to look at.
00:46:33.860 hazel eyes 895 says do you trust angus reed polls i think angus reed are quite good they're really
00:46:39.920 good doesn't mean that the numbers coming out of them every time i'm going to like or i'll always
00:46:44.740 like a question they asked i found the questions they asked around what people thought of the
00:46:49.020 tariff issues it's so low resolution if you just ask people do you support carney or trump of course
00:46:54.380 they're going to say carney and some of their questions around trade are so low resolution it
00:47:00.160 really is do you support canada or do you support america and it's like of course the numbers are
00:47:05.300 going to be like 83 in favor of whatever carney's doing if you explained would you settle for this
00:47:11.220 or that tariff rate i'd find that far more interesting king od member for eight months
00:47:17.720 ask a question here says guys and gals why it is close to 100 000 subs if you watch this channel
00:47:22.740 you should subscribe you will learn a great amount from wyatt bob ross well i'm no longer bob ross i
00:47:28.780 and I'm not I want I didn't go from Bob Ross the gray to Bob Ross the white I just got a haircut
00:47:34.040 so I'm no longer Bob Ross I'm now I don't even know I'm generic guy I've become generic man
00:47:41.280 but yeah if you guys are watching this and you're not currently a subscriber hit the subscribe 0.99
00:47:45.780 button we're almost at 100,000 and I can get my stupid my stupid 100,000 silver play button 0.99
00:47:51.760 which is all I've ever wanted in this life. CommandoSolo5 says Trump was quiet during all 1.00
00:47:58.640 the elbows up stuff and even the USMCA talks, Carniwa and the smoke and Trump is motivated to
00:48:03.780 now fight back to make it hurt. And as other people have said too, does it necessarily hurt
00:48:09.520 Trump to fight back against Canada before the midterms? Because although many Americans don't
00:48:14.820 like the fighting with Canada, America is also far more partisan. Democrats and Republicans have
00:48:21.320 very different priorities. Does it hurt Trump exactly in the midterms to fight with Canada?
00:48:27.440 Most states don't really get affected by any of this. And in fact, many of the areas that are most affected by tariffs are also the ones who are also interested in having them in place because they're the areas with steel and aluminum production, you know, manufacturing, milling, and all that stuff.
00:48:45.300 so uh mst3521 for 279 says there will be a deal between september 1st to september 8th
00:48:53.840 well we will hold you to that prediction and we'll come and find you and beat you to death
00:48:58.200 with sticks if you're wrong uh but you're probably you could actually be right i think that's actually 0.98
00:49:02.580 a fairly realistic timeline uh so i'll be beaten to death with sticks with you if we both happen
00:49:07.420 to be wrong on this one but i think that carney is going to do the trying to swagger about and say
00:49:12.620 I think they understand how serious we are.
00:49:16.040 So let's start talking again,
00:49:17.860 even though it's obviously going to be him kind of crawling back.
00:49:22.120 DianeMartin435 says,
00:49:22.980 Appreciate you, Wyatt. Keep up the great work.
00:49:24.720 Well, thank you for the $6.99 super chat.
00:49:27.420 Again, really, really helps up the channel.
00:49:31.180 RaptorGuy86 for $5 says, 1.00
00:49:32.380 Those floor crossers will end up like Tim Peterson,
00:49:35.860 former Ontario MVP, 1.00
00:49:37.560 whose career went into oblivion when he crossed the floor.
00:49:40.480 and most of them cross the floor in areas that they're not winning again the only guy who might
00:49:45.960 survive is the guy from edmonton uh riverbend because he's going to try and run in victoria
00:49:50.940 which is more of a default liberal riding which is to say he didn't even really cross the floor
00:49:56.420 he hopped ridings he's going he's hopping parties to the easiest one to win for
00:50:01.920 and he's only really crossed because people are finding out that he never lived in his riding for
00:50:09.340 like the past few years. Mike Orser, 5425, just signed up for a membership. So thank you, Mike.
00:50:16.700 Really does help a lot of people give a few dollars every month, especially because again,
00:50:21.080 the YouTube algorithm is just so fickle. You'll have a good few days and then you'll have a bad
00:50:24.460 few days. It's weird. Some people's channels seem to have no problem with it. More power to them.
00:50:29.160 But I'm part of one of those ones who goes through like peaks and valleys and whatnot.
00:50:34.100 And maybe if you get to 100,000, they start being nicer to you. Who knows?
00:50:40.320 Midianso for $10 says,
00:50:43.220 Midianso.
00:50:48.100 I'm trying to get this right.
00:50:50.340 Sometimes these are confusing.
00:50:51.420 I'm not sure where I'm supposed to break up the sound.
00:50:56.640 Myianso.
00:50:57.380 I'm just going to go with that.
00:50:58.500 For $10 says, thank you.
00:50:59.700 Well, thank you for sending in $10.
00:51:01.420 Of course, always feel free to attach a question,
00:51:03.660 even if it's just something really basic
00:51:05.480 if you want for the Super Chats.
00:51:09.340 My Ronin's 228 for $5 says,
00:51:18.120 Carney is the worst economist the world has ever seen.
00:51:21.280 He is the reason Canadians are losing jobs.
00:51:23.880 He's only good at the Bank of Canada because he followed what Jim Flaherty and Stephen Harper said. 0.93
00:51:28.180 When he was at the Bank of England, he sucked because he thought he had all the answers
00:51:32.940 and he started trying to effectively run the UK's government through the central bank 0.85
00:51:37.840 that he's going to set interest rates and he's going to tell them how much to spend and what to
00:51:41.500 do, because don't worry, I've handled this before in Canada. And he didn't handle in Canada. Flaherty
00:51:46.140 and Harper handled it. He was simply implementing, because that is in fact what his job is. He is
00:51:50.980 supposed to basically have the central bank's policy, their approach, sort of dovetail with
00:51:58.560 the federal government. Their strategies are supposed to meet and complement each other.
00:52:03.800 but parliament the the prime minister's office is supposed to be the one driving the decision
00:52:09.220 making but carney basically kind of like faked his way into getting the uk government to follow
00:52:14.820 his lead and he had no clue what he's doing and so unlike what he did in the in canada which was
00:52:20.660 basically keep interest rates steady sort of you know gradually push more money into the economy
00:52:26.640 to make sure that we we kept moving but not too much in the uk he farted money into the economy
00:52:32.220 and it was a disaster dish one dash two for ten dollars or dash one dash two i don't know why i
00:52:40.260 said dish for ten dollars thank you dash one dash two says this year was my last hope for canada i
00:52:46.560 escaped communist poland with my parents in the 80s now i'm going back because canada has become
00:52:51.300 somehow worse than communist poland in the 80s it's sad oh well in a certain sense i can't blame 0.53
00:52:56.660 you for that one especially if you're already from poland and you can reintegrate out there
00:53:00.600 And the thing that is frustrating with many voters in Canada is it's like, do you care about the substance of the thing, or do you just care what that thing states that it is? Because Carney states he's a hero for Canada, he's fighting for us and all this, but they don't look at the substance of what he's doing, which is the opposite of fighting for Canada.
00:53:20.560 He is basically selling Canada out for his political career, but pretending that he's fighting.
00:53:25.780 I guess he is. He's fighting Trump and using Canada as a shield during the fighting.
00:53:32.760 Sima down, Sima down, says for five bucks, instead of an extension to work out deal,
00:53:42.180 we all get an abrupt departure in declaration of war. 0.98
00:53:46.100 It's all spin and narrative, Trudeau 2.0, sick people. 0.98
00:53:48.860 And you're right. That's kind of what I've been saying as well, of course, is that like we didn't just push for an extension and fight harder. I'm fine with even more aggressive rhetoric. That's fine. Play hardball. Play the friendly guy or play hardball. Pick something, but pick it and stick to it.
00:54:07.460 But, like, what does it help to cut the negotiations off?
00:54:12.460 If you're going to do this kind of, you know, back room negotiating kind of like, you know, I tricked you type maneuvers.
00:54:19.340 I'm going to, you know, they give you something you don't like and you just get up and walk out of the room, no explanation, and you act hard to get.
00:54:27.060 Like Chris Baker said, try this last year.
00:54:30.080 Try this in the summer of 2025.
00:54:31.820 five. You don't start pulling out your unique negotiating tactics this late. A year and a half
00:54:38.480 later, we're going to get up and act hard to get. I'm sorry, it's hard to get flipping jobs. So can
00:54:44.580 we get the deal done? Again, I'm not saying sign anything. I'm saying sign something good and start
00:54:50.160 stop drawing red lines around stuff that we should totally be willing to burn and stop previously
00:54:55.680 having been stopped making concessions for nothing. It's so dumb. $20 from Myron. I lost 1.00
00:55:03.820 my job in October of last year, still looking for a new one. The market is dystopian right now. Well,
00:55:08.660 thank you for $20. Then if you're looking for a job, I'd almost say like, if that's,
00:55:13.660 if it's ever difficult to give super chat money, you know, don't, if that's a problem. But the
00:55:19.980 thing is too, if you're in, if you're in Ontario or any of the manufacturing hubs and you worked a
00:55:24.900 a manufacturing job this has been devastating and the fact that there are so many people who don't
00:55:30.400 seem to realize their own neighbors lost jobs and they're still elbows up it's like have you ever
00:55:34.580 have you seen all of the mill closures in bc have you seen the man have you seen the factories
00:55:41.740 closing in southwest ontario and in quebec please get a clue go to the clue store and buy one
00:55:50.320 Because you need to realize that Hollywood politics, where we think everything's going to end up with Carney giving a big speech outside of parliament and everyone's going to be like, yeah, and Trump's going to be like, I can't believe they've rallied around their flag and believed in themselves. I guess I have to give them everything. It's not going to happen that way. It's just not how it works.
00:56:13.660 i am a conservative boomer trish here says are the jobs being created close created close in
00:56:22.360 wages or less uh and and you're right are the jobs that we are creating the same wages as the
00:56:29.520 ones that we're losing or are they less because with a lot of the jobs that are being created
00:56:34.180 they're part-time yes the carny liberals to give them slight credit on something they are reducing
00:56:39.940 to public service in some ways now they've increased it in others because of things like
00:56:43.940 the census although that's kind of a you have to do it sort of a situation although they shouldn't
00:56:48.900 pretend that they invented those jobs like those jobs only appeared because of Carney they would
00:56:54.180 have appeared under Polyev under Trudeau under myself if you made me prime minister because the
00:56:59.840 census has to be done but yeah the new jobs being created I really doubt are better than the ones
00:57:05.300 that we lost because if a bunch of jobs get lost from the economy you're not going to bring a job
00:57:11.000 back with a higher wage you're going to be a little more pessimistic and probably start some
00:57:14.340 of these jobs at lower wages if not at best the same wages before um i i mcleod 8104 it's a gifted
00:57:27.440 five national telegraph white claypool memberships i'm not sure how that works are people like able
00:57:32.760 to like get the memberships for other people
00:57:35.240 or they like buy them a head or something like that.
00:57:37.820 I think that might be how it works,
00:57:39.480 something to that effect.
00:57:41.300 But thank you for that, McLeod.
00:57:43.480 King Odie for $5 says, 0.71
00:57:44.960 Mark Warner, the goat next to Polyev, 0.91
00:57:48.220 pure Polyev CBC should hire him 0.50
00:57:50.220 as their US relations trade expert lawyer.
00:57:52.860 I do like Chivalry Majumdar though. 0.97
00:57:54.780 So I would say they almost should like tag team it.
00:57:58.460 Then King Odie goes on to say,
00:57:59.940 I really enjoy watching him on the CBC.
00:58:01.660 oh he's fantastic I really like that guy we should almost watch clips of him while we're on the show
00:58:07.020 but I did have Jessica before we go on she mentioned that we should watch this new video
00:58:11.660 from Mario I will be linking it though because I'm not trying to steal views like if you can go
00:58:16.020 and go and like uh like and share his post because I think it's very important uh Louise Gowen
00:58:23.580 Gowenlock7316 has gifted 10 the National Telegraph Wyatt Claypool memberships
00:58:31.100 thank you for that louise that's very very kind of you lupin lupin and ed chat lupin i'm saying
00:58:41.060 call him lupin i'm not sure if you're making a lupin the third reference but lupin for 699 says
00:58:47.400 hey wyatt what are your thoughts on the seemingly unified mobilize mobilization of formal institutions
00:58:54.120 in support of the liberals over the last year thanks uh are you talking about like i assume
00:58:59.140 what you're talking about is like the media you know um institutes uh lots of even conservative
00:59:06.020 seemingly uh types of like outlets and whatnot and and thinkers they're all kind of mobilizing
00:59:12.660 behind kind of like elbows up we have to be nationalistic for canada um part of it i do think
00:59:18.900 think is part of it is that I think that people are genuinely taken by the nationalistic rhetoric
00:59:30.600 that we want to fight for Canada and that means we have to resist America and some of these guys
00:59:36.120 have just always been like this they've always been secretly anti-American I think what Carney
00:59:40.160 has done is tapped into something that is in the back of a lot of Canadians minds that they are
00:59:45.900 resentful and jealous or just hateful towards America. And whatever politician promises them
00:59:51.900 basically a free ride on a great excuse to hate America, they will go for it. And Trump hasn't
00:59:57.080 helped himself. The tariffs have not helped. But Carney is creating a lot of damage by leaning
01:00:02.600 into that sort of feeling in the country. I find it's very underhanded, very disgusting of him,
01:00:08.960 what he's doing. And I think that, yeah, especially with the news media, the way that
01:00:14.900 they make excuses for Mark Carney, the more extreme lack of balance that I see on the panels
01:00:21.080 where everyone is a seemingly a liberal, it's been wild. And the fact that people don't even
01:00:27.420 notice it just demonstrates how much people want to be propagandized. They just want the Canadian
01:00:33.500 nationalistic sludge. And again, they don't care about the substance of the thing. They just care
01:00:38.680 about what that thing claims to be. So Carney is a nationalist and they're happy and he's elbows
01:00:43.480 up, and he fights for Canada, and they're happy with that, but they don't care about the substance,
01:00:46.780 about what he actually does at the negotiating table, or why the heck is he in Italy during the
01:00:51.360 negotiations, and he said he could get a deal. They don't care. He's just elbows up, and he hates
01:00:56.040 Trump, and so they don't care about the substance. VA deck 5909 says for 699, thanks, Wyatt, for your
01:01:03.800 work. I think sometimes you are so funny. Well, thank you. I try and be funny sometimes on the
01:01:08.780 show or else you know life would be too boring and depressing and there is something funny about
01:01:14.040 canadian politics whenever the liberals or the left is in charge because we we very much do lean
01:01:20.100 into sometimes the most microwaved woke type politics that the that's quite common in the
01:01:27.640 united states but we do it in such a sloppy way not that it's good down there but it's always
01:01:32.020 funny whenever you see it kind of come up to canada and our very square liberal politicians
01:01:36.760 try and embrace uh like woke anti-colonial type politics or all these people who again have this
01:01:45.060 like like my joke about how like the you know like the liberals don't care if you're you're
01:01:51.180 going hungry or losing your job shut up and watch the second season north of north of north and be
01:01:55.860 happy that donald trump is mad at us there is a lot of funny contradictions in canada just the 0.58
01:02:01.340 way that people think about politics in such a self-destructive manner can be funny old crow
01:02:08.140 for two dollars says hey hey you got it together more lamps yes uh i do have more lamps but i don't
01:02:13.760 have them on the set right now i have two lamps in front of me but crow is the guy who always
01:02:18.180 makes sure to take note of all the lamps in the room whenever i'm making videos raptor guy 86 says
01:02:24.340 for five dollars the chances of carney getting a deal are as likely as why doing a video with
01:02:28.900 Mark Slopinski or Ed Tananis.
01:02:32.580 You know, that means we're probably close to getting a deal.
01:02:34.500 I'd do a video with Mark Slopinski.
01:02:35.900 That'd be funny.
01:02:36.780 I haven't met him in real life. 0.75
01:02:38.240 He's a funny guy because Mark Slopinski is just clearly a grifter.
01:02:45.680 He's clearly just saying things because he wants to go viral.
01:02:49.060 And I think that now that the monetization on X is changing,
01:02:53.460 where it doesn't reward people for just spamming engagement bait posts all the time,
01:02:58.900 that he's going to have to find some other thing to be jumping on board with
01:03:02.840 because, like, clearly he's going to be out of money.
01:03:06.180 Probably wasn't even making that much money in the first place.
01:03:08.420 But all of his posts, whenever people get mad at him for stuff,
01:03:10.800 I don't get mad. 0.96
01:03:11.620 It's just, you know, it's like a dog wiping his butt on the carpet.
01:03:14.560 He's just trying to get a rise out of people, 0.83
01:03:16.300 and I can't even care that he's trying to do it.
01:03:21.220 Myron, for $20, says,
01:03:22.920 Liberals can't read maps.
01:03:24.280 Carney needs a pilot to fly him east
01:03:26.300 because he has no clue which direction it is.
01:03:28.900 Well, I thought maybe that's why he ended up in Italy during the talks.
01:03:31.980 He thought that that was closer to America than Canada was already.
01:03:36.920 Again, he seems to think that China and the EU are closer to Canada than the US is right over the border.
01:03:44.400 And as Mark Warner has pointed out, you can't, like with potash as an example,
01:03:53.320 you can't just say, we're not going to send you potash.
01:03:55.580 What are you going to do with your potash?
01:03:57.540 Unlike oil and gas, you can just kind of stockpile it if you want, or just kind of leave it in the
01:04:01.880 ground. With your oil and gas, you actually need to keep producing it. You can't just turn on the
01:04:05.660 taps. The infrastructure of the oil and gas industry will break if you just try and shut
01:04:09.520 it off. Either you need a reserve that you can pour it into, or you need to be shipping it
01:04:14.180 somewhere. In potash, even though you don't have that problem of an infrastructure issue,
01:04:19.060 how are those people staying employed? What, are we going to eat our own potash? You have to send
01:04:22.940 it to somebody, and we don't even have the rail to get it to the coast to ship it. We send it to
01:04:28.140 the United States. That's how we do it. A lot of our things like potash go overseas through the 0.99
01:04:34.200 United States first. So all these premiers like Doug Ford and, you know, even Alberta NDP leader
01:04:40.300 Nahid Nenshi saying that Daniel Smith and Scott Mo should put their potash and energy on the table
01:04:45.400 as a chip, they don't even understand the logistical problems. There is no way to get a
01:04:51.360 different customer for these things or you literally cannot shut off the tap it's impossible
01:04:55.800 so breakpoint uh 28 for 1399 says canada is in the handout stage of communism didn't take long
01:05:06.140 for the liberals to whip up more ballots or bailouts it's more so that they have to do the
01:05:12.460 bailouts because of the situation i if let's say the u.s was clearly the side that was causing the
01:05:19.700 talks do not go forward. They will not give us a good deal. They refuse to budge on anything. And
01:05:24.680 maybe then I would say, okay, I can understand not signing this deal and then just walking away.
01:05:30.040 I don't think that's the situation we are in. But even if we were in that situation,
01:05:34.020 I could understand, okay, you got to spend $25 billion making sure the industries don't die.
01:05:38.760 The problem is he's so quickly, it's like he's, that's his one card he always plays in Slapjack,
01:05:44.460 just immediately goes to the subsidies. Oh, we hit a small road bump. Oh, let's shut down the
01:05:48.800 talks and subsidize because the liberals love to be at a ribbon cutting. They love a press conference 0.99
01:05:53.440 where they get to tell you that they're actually helping you out by cutting you this big check of
01:05:57.460 your own money rather than getting a trade deal. Liberals hate tax cuts because tax cuts mean that
01:06:03.000 you're going to go create your own success. Subsidies and handouts allow them to come up
01:06:07.560 with a big check and hand it to you and act like heroes when they're just giving you back your own
01:06:12.200 money. So Myron for $5 says we should give Carney a sailboat and send him to Europe. If he actually
01:06:20.680 arrives, it'd be a miracle. Well, you know, I'd watch that as a vlog type of a thing. Mark Carney
01:06:27.080 showing us his like crossing of the sea or something like that. Yeah, I hope he'd go to
01:06:33.500 the EU and they would take him and wouldn't send him back. He obviously wants Canada to be part of
01:06:39.660 the EU, which is hilarious because one of the reasons he walked away from the trade deal was
01:06:45.280 that, oh my goodness, they want to veto over who we trade with. By the way, we get a veto over who
01:06:52.340 they trade with. That's in Kuzma. And in the EU, they also have veto powers and other sort of 1.00
01:06:58.900 stipulations on who you trade with outside of the EU. Carney was whining about something.
01:07:04.500 Apparently, this was the thing that shut down the trade agreement. This and our cultural policy,
01:07:09.140 Again, it wasn't because the tariffs on steel and aluminum were too high. The actual problem, he thought the problem was the America trying to tell us what to do, as well as Bill C-18 and Bill C-11.
01:07:25.100 And it's like, when he's whining about, well, the America's trying to tell us what to do on trade, I point out we trade with the U.S. 78%.
01:07:32.820 If they told us not to, I said this the other day, if they told us not to trade with Denmark, just say yes.
01:07:41.640 Oh my goodness, how much do we trade with any country out of the United States anyways?
01:07:45.560 Who cares? I'd rather have market access with them and say to Denmark, I'm sorry, I can't trade with you until Trump's gone.
01:07:51.620 They probably wouldn't care. I don't even know what we ship them. I don't know what they ship us. I don't know what comes from Denmark. Like, I don't know what the Danish stereotypes even are that they could be sending us. I guess Viking helmets, but that has overlap with Norway.
01:08:06.800 uh sorry trying to get this back to this one uh ravos a ravosadies for five dollars ravoo
01:08:16.100 sadie says five bucks but why it's all about the new world order gods what a uh what a mess
01:08:24.020 no way does getting closer to the eu or china help us though or the west as a
01:08:30.080 no way sorry this is me being just a little bit frazzle brained right now in no way does getting
01:08:37.200 closer to the eu or china help us or the west as a while uh i assume you mean that like there's no
01:08:45.080 way of even putting our exports onto the eu or china it's just not possible you're not going to
01:08:51.960 replace 78 of your trade or even a significant portion of it in just a few years and by the way
01:08:58.780 should you even want to do that it's cheaper to ship things over the united states border
01:09:03.540 which means that you get to keep more of the profit of that product you're not spending money
01:09:08.180 just paying ships to move it it's easier to just truck it over the border
01:09:12.060 and jessica says for 6.99 well heath wilson just announced an independence rally for october 17th
01:09:20.820 and derrick smith is on of on is one of the speakers looks like he didn't take your advice
01:09:26.220 yes he should though because Derek Smith the guy who calls himself unacceptable fringe on YouTube
01:09:31.180 I've heard from other people he's openly told people behind the scenes he's not even a supporter
01:09:36.140 of independence he simply does this because this is where the views are and you can really tell
01:09:41.020 that that is probably true just based on the frankly low quality uh like clickbait content
01:09:48.260 trying to promote independence and attack anyone who's perceived as an opponent like he's done some
01:09:53.340 really said some pretty nasty uh lies about danielle smith for no reason other than it was
01:10:00.040 good rage bait content for him i guess simp for sigmar 8332 says for five euros or pounds i guess
01:10:08.980 why do canadians hate americans so much as an outsider it seems very bizarre is it just because
01:10:14.080 the u.s is the bigger party honestly kind of that's kind of why a lot of canadians don't like
01:10:20.060 the united states it's like the bigger country that's more well known that everyone wants to go
01:10:24.720 to and that doesn't mean that canada's not great i really like canada as a canadian of course
01:10:28.860 but i think there's a certain type of canadian who sees america as like the up the snob not even
01:10:34.760 snobbish but the the boorish loud uh country that that like stinks up the joint and they should like
01:10:42.280 smaller more sophisticated canada more everyone does that everyone craps on the u.s but everyone 0.72
01:10:47.840 in, you know, Alberta or British Columbia who hates the U.S. probably still has a summer home
01:10:53.240 down in Phoenix. It's one of those things where everyone hates the person who's really popular
01:10:58.520 and who's really rich, and that is the United States. And again, doesn't mean there's nothing
01:11:03.120 to criticize about the United States, but the hate tends to be honestly kind of thin when you get down
01:11:08.700 to it. DallasBrat81 for $5 says, Carney is risking losing Kuzma in a stupidity, meaning Canada could 0.99
01:11:16.300 lose free trade, Trump is talking to Democrats. And the funny thing is that we keep acting like 0.99
01:11:22.220 the Democrats are going to save us in this country. It's like, who do you think is historically the
01:11:26.480 bigger protectionists? It's Democrats. Democrats are the ones who usually support trade barriers.
01:11:36.000 As Mark Warner pointed out, Democrats and Republicans in bipartisan fashion, not everybody,
01:11:42.180 But it was a fairly safe vote that went through that gave Trump more powers to control trade.
01:11:48.320 Many Democrats are in favor of tariffs on Canada because it helps buoy up their local economy.
01:11:56.320 Not because it's actually good for America, the tariffs, but if you're an interest group in the steel or aluminum sector,
01:12:02.580 you do want Americans to have to buy your product instead of buying cheaper Canadian steel or aluminum.
01:12:10.020 Kimmer4761 for $13.99 says,
01:12:12.180 David from Leaders interviewed David Coleto, Abacus, regarding their poll.
01:12:16.580 If Coleto was polled for honesty, wow, most comments disagreed.
01:12:21.420 Coleto is a good pollster.
01:12:23.000 I like Abacus, but David Coleto himself, and this is actually what I would say tends to
01:12:26.760 make him quite good, he is very liberal.
01:12:29.420 You'll listen to his opinions and he's very liberal, but I would still say his numbers
01:12:32.920 tend to be pretty accurate.
01:12:34.000 He shows the liberals' government approval rating popping back up right now.
01:12:38.400 I don't think that's wrong.
01:12:39.340 I think it's just the consequences, short term, of fighting with the United States.
01:12:43.280 It always happens.
01:12:44.340 Every time Carney fights with the United States, he gets a little bit more popular.
01:12:48.460 Now, I find every time he does it now, he tends to slump faster than he did the previous time.
01:12:53.960 Because it's a trick that you can only pull off so many times before people being like, yeah, yeah, I just like Trump too.
01:12:59.880 But can we save the economy now?
01:13:01.620 Can we kind of stop fooling around?
01:13:02.940 uh mid yanso for five dollars says just let your hair grow in two years you'll look fantastic thank
01:13:12.920 you for your work i'll just turn into a giant hairball if i do that i'll literally just have
01:13:16.840 like flat out a uh an afro k1 r1 16 he'll cure i think 16 i think that's what you're going for
01:13:29.700 I don't know. $10 says the hyper partisan liberals telling the conservatives to stop asking Carney about the trade details is highly concerning.
01:13:37.120 It's like they want this country to be a dictatorship.
01:13:40.220 Well, yeah, they want you to believe Carney when he makes these claims that were themselves contradictory even at the time, because he says, oh, there was last minute changes.
01:13:49.780 And he didn't name a single thing that was actual last minute change, which makes me think the claims about what Trump or Lutnik may or may not have done are kind of hollow.
01:13:59.700 Uh, yeah, so I don't really see, uh, I don't know why they should be so concerned about Canadians seeing the details of the trade deal that feels, if anything, fairly, like, normal, that you should show the details of a trade agreement that you didn't sign that you're claiming was, like, completely unacceptable and is now putting us into war mode against the United States.
01:14:21.720 CyberNomad26 says, if Carney hates the U.S. so much, then he should pull out his U.S. investments such hypocrisy.
01:14:27.460 absolutely and the funny thing is all this stuff is quite good for us his u.s investments ironically
01:14:33.440 enough not that he's doing it for that reason i think he hates the united states and likes
01:14:38.140 attacking donald trump but his investments are pretty safe in all of this because it's not going
01:14:43.080 to be affected by the canadian economy going down handsome pete for 814 or 914 or 279 says
01:14:50.520 can you say hi to my girlfriend amanda in saskatchewan hi handsome pete's girlfriend
01:14:57.360 uh amanda in saskatchewan good job for you i don't know who you are or what you've done
01:15:04.680 or what you've done to pete but stop it or keep doing it i don't know hi she has been hot she 0.99
01:15:12.200 has been hide. Ravu Sadies for $5 says, like my run, I'm out of work, been looking for months
01:15:21.660 and dealing with cancer. Oh my goodness. Well, sorry for that. I'll try and make sure to pray
01:15:26.960 for you. Many jobs in my field, IT, seem to pay less for more work. Thanks, Carney. And well,
01:15:34.360 and we can see the weakness of the economy. That was a really funny moment on, I think it was CNBC
01:15:39.560 or it might have been Fox Business or something like that.
01:15:42.160 Dominic LeBlanc went on, and the host just started telling him to his face,
01:15:45.620 you are the worst performing economy in the OECD in terms of per capita growth.
01:15:50.240 You've been shrinking most quarters.
01:15:52.160 What's going on?
01:15:53.120 How are you guys going to actually fight back against the Trump administration
01:15:55.800 when you have such a weak economy?
01:15:57.620 And it's been like this for a very long time.
01:15:59.720 Dominic LeBlanc just dodged it like he was in the matrix.
01:16:03.520 Just started talking about the trade war again and what should happen
01:16:06.740 and how tariffs hurt Americans too. 0.95
01:16:08.180 what the heck are we doing man like come on this is why the canadian media sucks nobody's ever said
01:16:14.580 hey we're ranked last place in the oecd out of 38 countries in terms of per capita growth does 0.80
01:16:21.840 that embarrass you in any way never i've never seen that in canada at all never a question that
01:16:29.240 pointed unless it was like trudeau when he was under such crisis in 2024 journalists were asking
01:16:35.160 him negative questions because the liberal establishment
01:16:37.280 had decided they were over it with him and they
01:16:39.100 wanted him out. Destroyed
01:16:41.220 for 279 says bring pure 0.89
01:16:43.060 poly up here and you will get 100,000
01:16:45.080 subscribers. I've
01:16:47.180 never asked and I just assumed they would say
01:16:49.200 no so I just never try. Maybe
01:16:51.160 I would someday. I'd probably end up annoying
01:16:53.160 him because I just keep asking him
01:16:55.160 questions about why aren't you running on
01:16:57.160 this? And he'd be like well I have this reason
01:16:59.140 and I'd be like you should still do it anyways.
01:17:03.400 The Jeff
01:17:04.040 111 says will this inflame or depress alberta independence i don't think it really does i
01:17:11.220 think it's just kind of a wash because it's going to create some patriotism among some people and
01:17:16.580 it's going to also frustrate other uh conservative types with how mark carney has been just kind of
01:17:21.960 messing around too much and he's not actually serving the best interests of canadians so a lot
01:17:26.980 of people be like what's the point of even sticking around this country alberta would probably
01:17:30.560 negotiate a faster, better trade deal
01:17:32.720 than the carny liberals do 0.53
01:17:34.680 nationally for all of Canada.
01:17:37.340 Sasquatch Chronicles for 4.99
01:17:38.900 says, I watched a Canadian
01:17:40.780 give a speech about sovereignty, but
01:17:42.660 just prior gave a land acknowledgement
01:17:44.780 apologizing for being on
01:17:46.760 stolen land. It was strange.
01:17:48.760 And I think you have found the comedy
01:17:50.780 in Canadian politics.
01:17:52.960 We want to be nationalists for Canada
01:17:54.700 to be elbows up, but also we're 0.89
01:17:56.720 evil racists who stole all
01:17:58.760 land and we're like abusing indigenous people for like not even in the past right now we currently 1.00
01:18:06.540 are doing it still but america they're horrible and racist and they're trying to annex our country 0.92
01:18:13.280 that's all stolen land anyways good job canadians slim chance uh f5h for five dollars says i don't 0.95
01:18:22.920 recall Carney campaigning on the New World Order and union with the EU. Well, yeah, and he did
01:18:29.320 campaign on getting a trade deal, and we're not getting that. So really, it's kind of a boo on
01:18:34.440 all of us if any of us voted liberal and actually thought that stuff was going to be real. I know
01:18:38.720 none of us did, but man, imagine voting liberal and having to do the mental gymnastics in your
01:18:43.980 own brain every day, justifying that, no, I wanted all this. No, this is definitely what I wanted.
01:18:49.560 steve uh 2p3n almost say steven uh 27.99 thank you steven i had a liberal tell me the other day
01:18:59.260 that no one should worry about losing their jobs as they can just go get another one
01:19:03.800 unbelievable mindset thanks white i always enjoy your work and this is textbook thank you for the
01:19:11.280 story steven textbook example of how the liberals are able to get elected there are people who just
01:19:17.120 don't know how physical reality works oh you lost your job oh just get a new one oh you need you
01:19:22.820 can't pay your mortgage how about you just get money and pay it all these people who probably
01:19:27.960 if they ever had a job themselves had easy jobs that were impossible to lose or they you know
01:19:34.480 effectively were like handed a job or it was some union job that you like basically got paid a lot
01:19:40.280 of money for and you could probably not even show up for five days every once in a while and nobody
01:19:45.640 would even say anything. Just they don't live in reality that, you know, some people actually have
01:19:51.660 bills to pay. And I'm sorry, we all don't have a retirement fund that we're sitting on, able to
01:19:58.020 basically treat politics like a game rather than an actual serious endeavor of trying to, you know,
01:20:05.000 craft public policy and foreign policy that best serves the general public. For some reason,
01:20:10.760 screw the general public because i'm doing fine not enough toys says for twenty dollars assume
01:20:18.200 greer's version is what was offered do you think canada will get a better deal in the next round
01:20:23.700 if not what do you think the ramifications will be good luck to 100 000 hit that like button
01:20:28.800 everyone uh yeah thank you and everyone if you're watching hit the like button it really does help
01:20:32.860 load a lot so thank you for the reminding me of that not enough toys um i assume and i'm not just
01:20:39.820 doing this because, oh, White wants to side with the Americans. I assume Greer's version is the
01:20:45.200 correct one, which again, we still have, it's still a bit hazy what that version is. Again,
01:20:49.920 someone in the chat said they were willing to put steel and aluminum at 10%. Some have said,
01:20:55.560 or 15 or so. I have heard anything from 10 to 25. Who knows? Would going back and doing another
01:21:04.460 around and trade talks make it better? If we offer the same things, no. If we offer more and we get
01:21:11.020 over ourselves, and I'm not saying like, get over yourselves, just let the Americans win, give them
01:21:15.480 anything they want. C11 and C18 are not giving them things that we like. Canadians don't like 0.55
01:21:20.720 C11 and C18 if they know what they are. Loosen up supply management, burn China deals, I keep saying, 0.61
01:21:27.380 and you might be able to get some really good concessions on tariff rates and make them way
01:21:32.200 lower. Until Carney becomes an adult and realizes the main thing he is tasked with negotiating is
01:21:39.800 lower rates. Anything other than the lower rates, you are wasting your time. You don't protect
01:21:46.260 things that make Canadians' lives more expensive or don't at least help the quality of life. You
01:21:51.640 don't hold on to those things instead of getting lower rates. Lower rates are the only thing that
01:21:58.500 matters in all of this i'm sorry bilingual cheerio boxes do not make my life better it doesn't make
01:22:06.220 the general canadian's life better in fact make all the boxes french i don't care i'll be able
01:22:11.100 to figure out how to heat it up in the microwave anyways but we for some reason live in a country
01:22:15.980 where our leadership cares more about protecting its chinese ev dumping deal than it wants to get
01:22:23.860 lower rates on steel and aluminum exports to the market that we export 78% of our goods to.
01:22:33.480 Elon Mars for $5 says, any comments on the chance that Carney will implement a home equity tax?
01:22:41.980 I don't think he'll do that. That would be political suicide. Remember,
01:22:45.860 the liberal base is older voters who are very likely to have a house. Now, if you're above the 0.89
01:22:51.360 age of like 60 or 50 or so, and you're watching this channel, obviously you're conservative. No,
01:22:56.500 there's no such thing as a demographic that only votes one way, but that is where he
01:22:59.840 disproportionately gets the support. He will never tax anything that will hurt his biggest support
01:23:05.120 base. Home equity tax would immediately wipe him out because that would just have all of these
01:23:10.820 elbows up voters who sit at home and watch the CBC. They would turn on him on a dime for that
01:23:16.960 particular reason, which is so hypocritical. They don't care if other people are losing their jobs. 0.81
01:23:21.360 But if you come at me for my home equity, I'm going to strangle you to death, Mark Carney.
01:23:27.960 Anfield for $5. Thank you for that.
01:23:30.940 What's the likelihood Carney and Trump make a deal behind the door and both are actively working together for the liberal majority?
01:23:37.360 I don't think that Trump, I think Trump probably somewhat regrets helping Carney win the election.
01:23:43.040 I think he had a really dumb chip on his shoulder about pure Polyev, because Polyev, as a conservative in Canada, you so often get accused of being the Trump guy.
01:23:51.900 And so Polyev had distanced himself, because Carney doesn't have to distance himself, he doesn't, you know, liberals never get accused of being MAGA or being, like, Trump-like. 0.88
01:24:02.340 And again, I like a lot of Trump's policies, and it's not because, oh, why, it's some sycophant for Trump, it's because Trump has conservative policies, I like conservative policies,
01:24:10.360 I don't like his tariff policies, because I don't consider those conservative. I like some of his foreign policy. I like some of his other policies. You know, you can probably easily guess which ones I like or which ones I don't like. But so, but so Poliev had to answer, what do you think of the evil orange man from down south? And Poliev has to be like, oh, you know, I'll work with Trump, but, you know, I'm not a Trump or I'm not a Trump conservative. And he had to say stuff like that. Oh, I'm not a Trump guy. And it ticked off Trump.
01:24:37.620 but Carney never had to say I don't like Trump
01:24:39.880 I'm not a Trump guy because he's a liberal
01:24:42.160 he never gets asked are you a Trump guy
01:24:43.900 and so Trump artificially
01:24:46.420 liked Carney because he never said anything
01:24:48.400 that negative about him
01:24:49.900 he would say I'm going to stand up to him
01:24:51.540 I'm going to do stuff like this
01:24:53.060 I'm going to get a good deal for Canada 0.96
01:24:54.400 but Polly have had to say things that were more personal
01:24:57.020 about I'm not a Trump guy
01:24:58.700 I don't like MAGA I'm not the MAGA guy
01:25:01.020 and it looks like
01:25:02.460 Trump sees it as there's a
01:25:04.820 right wing leader who usually would be
01:25:06.880 embracing me if this was europe in a proportional representation system look at this guy rejecting
01:25:11.480 me screw him and that's what happened there and so it was something where i think probably trump
01:25:17.540 these days knows he messed up and now he's in this ridiculous situation where carney doesn't want to 0.76
01:25:23.240 play ball for political reasons where if it was polio i think we would have gotten a better deal
01:25:28.440 faster and we wouldn't be getting into needless fights with america that is distancing canada
01:25:34.500 and America from each other. Jeff Ian Lanton for $1.99 says, why won't Trump release the trade
01:25:45.240 deal? Now, they released a list of what they had demanded, and a lot of it was around cultural
01:25:50.900 policies and whatnot. I think it's probably a courtesy thing on both sides that they haven't
01:25:56.660 released it. I could see the Americans leaking it at some point. I think if it does get put out,
01:26:01.480 is going to be leaked. It's not going to be
01:26:03.400 officially put out by Carney
01:26:05.320 or Trump's
01:26:07.360 administration. Maybe he can be forced
01:26:09.500 to in Parliament, but the Liberal
01:26:11.280 majority can kind of insulate him from having to
01:26:13.360 give details.
01:26:15.400 And even if the Americans release it, I bet
01:26:17.260 the Canadian government would just be like,
01:26:18.920 that's not the real deal.
01:26:21.420 They're lying. And they were like, well, prove it.
01:26:23.480 And they were like, we don't have to.
01:26:27.360 Jeff 0.51
01:26:27.840 K1G
01:26:30.840 says for $6.99
01:26:32.440 could walking away from the
01:26:35.240 talks have given Carney some leverage
01:26:37.120 see the rest of my chat please
01:26:39.340 this was a while ago I'm going to try and find
01:26:43.260 this I'm going to go to $8.20
01:26:44.620 okay I'm actually catching
01:26:47.320 up though so
01:26:47.940 so it's Jeff
01:26:51.400 and I'm trying to find what else he's
01:26:53.400 saying
01:26:53.680 sorry sometimes the super chats
01:26:57.380 take me out of the normal chat because I'm
01:26:59.380 just having to go through all the supers um could walking away from the talks have given
01:27:10.740 carny leverage i'm not trying to just disagree with you or be contrarian but if the deal
01:27:15.280 whatever or whoever started adding poison pills aside yeah yeah okay i get your point um does it
01:27:21.620 give him leverage to walk away? I don't think so. I honestly don't think so. It's just because
01:27:30.360 the way that they've walked away, it being so late in the game, it's been like a year and a half.
01:27:36.320 If this was back last year, I think it would give him more. I'd say at best it's not hurting
01:27:41.340 anything. It's just a waste of time. The only way we're getting a better deal with leverage is if
01:27:48.360 we put more concessions on the table that allow us to leverage burning things like the China deal,
01:27:54.540 as I keep mentioning, for lower tariffs. That's the way you're going to do it. And so, yeah,
01:28:00.220 and then the rest of your chat, you had said, and I don't think you're trying to be a contrarian.
01:28:04.360 It is a good point. Does this tactic of I'm done here, you're wasting my time, good day,
01:28:11.440 good sir, and then you walk out, does that help you in any way? Could, it could, you just have
01:28:16.620 to do it right. It's just Carney's not doing it right, honestly. He just doesn't know what he's
01:28:20.340 doing. Again, at the end of the day, you need to provide value to get the things that you need.
01:28:25.920 Carney is not putting things of value on the table, and he is instead trying to protect things
01:28:31.420 that he wants but does not need. And he won't trade those wants, those liberal cultural media
01:28:38.560 subsidy wants. He won't trade those for the things that Canadians need. That's the big disconnect
01:28:43.800 going on right now if he figures that out then he could potentially get a decent deal and i will say
01:28:49.360 hey that's a fine deal and then i'll criticize him the next second saying my goodness why couldn't
01:28:53.880 we have done this before but i will say if it's a good deal or not half of the deal is quite good
01:28:58.320 right now the other half is bad quite good is auto tariffs softwood lumber good aluminum and steel
01:29:04.300 not good yet 25 of both was the original problem that we all rightfully did not like so you have
01:29:12.260 to figure out how to use the value that he has not put on the table to say,
01:29:16.200 okay, we'll come back to the table.
01:29:18.340 You'll get a win because I'll give you all the things that I'd walked away
01:29:21.540 originally for, but I need the tariffs lower on steel and aluminum.
01:29:26.380 Now, again, there's still some disputes on whether Greer offered 15% or 10%
01:29:30.500 steel and aluminum tariffs.
01:29:31.800 If that's true, that should be good enough already, honestly, to take, 0.99
01:29:35.020 and Carney's a fool for not doing it. 0.58
01:29:36.640 If it's 25%, we should be holding out a bit longer. 0.98
01:29:39.260 But again, as Chris Baker from Baked on Things says,
01:29:41.940 we've been burning so much flipping time to get to the position where we're at like stage one or
01:29:48.780 two of negotiations this should be the thing that we walked away because of back in like may 2025
01:29:54.100 we should have been showing that we're willing to walk away back then well us walking away now
01:29:58.860 is just so adolescent because we it's taken us so long to get us to the dinner table in the first
01:30:03.240 place and now we're going to try and act like we're the we're like the you know we're the big
01:30:07.960 man on campus. Stacey Ann Williams just sends in $10. Thank you, Stacey Ann. Very, very kind of
01:30:15.100 you. Myron for five bucks says, I was working in trucking, running the loading dock for a large
01:30:21.460 company. When people can't afford things, you stop shipping them. And absolutely, that's more
01:30:27.940 of a domestic problem as well. If we just cut taxes in this country, more people could afford
01:30:33.080 more things. And by the way, we could save money by cutting taxes because guess what we can also
01:30:37.180 do. Start cutting down the amount of money we spend on EI and the amount of money we spend on
01:30:43.460 welfare because unless you're disabled, which is totally fine, I think we should give disability 0.94
01:30:48.320 benefits to people with real disabilities. But when taxes are too high, it's hard to keep people 0.99
01:30:55.940 employed because people don't have a lot of money to spend on things that require the things to be
01:30:59.880 shipped it's like Carney has never taken economics 101 it's it's maddening like Myron here today
01:31:07.140 could be 10,000 times better at managing the economy than Mark Carney because he like many
01:31:13.100 of us has real life experience in knowing that when somebody does not have money they stop buying
01:31:18.780 things and stores have to don't restock as often and the people who ship the stuff and truck the
01:31:25.160 stuff for restocking aren't needed anymore because they only need to make one or two shipments
01:31:30.840 per week rather than four it's basic and somehow he doesn't know this
01:31:36.080 uh jessica says can you do the by-election live with ryan and tanya because they are doing a
01:31:42.680 stream as well don't make me choose between both streams wide well you can always catch back up
01:31:47.340 with me later because i will be doing the by-election stuff oh you're saying the live
01:31:53.240 by-election yeah that could be fun actually wait ryan called me earlier and i need to check
01:31:58.740 something he said that ctv news did back off of his copyright claims and i want to see if they've
01:32:04.660 now backed off of the copyright claims on my content uh okay no mine has not been taken down
01:32:11.520 but the fact that they've already taken down their claim on the northern perspective videos ctv news
01:32:16.640 did probably means that if i do the same tactic as them rightfully so that i'm going to say hey
01:32:21.960 sue me if I actually did anything wrong, they will walk it back. But yeah, I'd maybe do a joint
01:32:28.200 live stream at some point. That'd be fun. Dash one dash two for $5 says, food comes from the
01:32:34.660 grocery store. Power comes from the outlet. If you lose your job, you can just get another one.
01:32:39.780 Just make more money, liberals. And that is, as that one previous super chatter was saying,
01:32:45.400 is basically what the perspective is these days from a lot of liberals. They don't understand that
01:32:50.720 people live in reality and you can't just simply wish for things to be better um and what again
01:32:56.820 where all these liberals holding uh carney accountable saying you said you were going to
01:33:00.680 get a really good deal with trump what's the secret trick that you had oh none oh you were
01:33:05.740 lying but it seemed they don't seem like to take care that he was lying they just like that he was
01:33:09.060 anti-trump they didn't even hear when he had said he promised a deal they just heard that they just
01:33:13.320 heard elbows up king od for five bucks says liberals and leftists don't live in reality and
01:33:19.980 only live off of wishful thinking. What do you think Polyev and Chavloy should do regarding Trump?
01:33:27.100 What they're doing right now is fine. Now, I think it's right to say, and someone told me this a
01:33:32.380 couple nights ago, the problem for the conservatives on trade is because they're not in control and
01:33:37.020 they can't show people what they would be doing better. It's a defensive issue for them a little
01:33:41.500 bit because people are always going to see them and saying, oh, why are you telling Carney's not
01:33:45.740 doing a good job. He's fighting for our country. How can you say that? Remember when Mark Carney
01:33:51.940 did that thing? Well, Polly has never signed a trade deal before. It's like, well, yeah,
01:33:56.220 he's not the prime minister. His criticisms are still real, but this is the problem.
01:34:00.800 So many Canadians will react badly to the Conservatives telling Carney that he's doing
01:34:05.780 things wrong too often. So they have to be very careful about what things that they go after him
01:34:11.480 for. And asking for the draft deal is a really good one. Saying, let's reconvene Parliament.
01:34:18.220 Saying, let's cut taxes. Let's do all these domestic reforms that you're unwilling to do.
01:34:22.820 Those are good ways of going after Cardi. Go after him on the affordability issue that he has made
01:34:27.420 Canada weak and lowered our leverage in trade talks. That's the way you do it. You can't, as
01:34:32.660 Polly of Urshavloy, say, this is what I'd be doing with Trump. Because you actually can't
01:34:37.940 implemented and the liberals can say wishful thinking we've been in the room with them and
01:34:42.840 you haven't been you think you know what you're talking about you don't know what you're talking
01:34:47.460 about and they can just do that all day long and just kind of blow off everything you're saying as
01:34:51.620 if it's like just fantasy land even if their take is realistic they can just say you just don't know
01:34:57.140 you think that trump's gonna be you think that trump's just gonna bend because you say he is
01:35:02.120 they can basically deflect all day long it's just a very good issue for the liberals and so much of
01:35:09.160 that is going to be arbitrary it feels arbitrary because it is it's just arbitrarily a very liberal
01:35:14.940 coded uh issue right now because they've been using the most aggressive language and canadians
01:35:20.620 a lot of canadians not all obviously but there will be a large portion of canadians who are
01:35:25.740 taken by the fact that they're tough they use tough language ergo their ergo they're probably
01:35:30.600 the best. Conservatives, if you give a realistic take of what you should be doing, of saying things
01:35:36.280 that are more moderate and how you should be approaching the United States, they'd say, weak,
01:35:39.960 weak, that's not going to work because they're talking weak, even though slapping Trump is
01:35:44.280 obviously not a good way of actually getting a deal. Expat Cat for five bucks says, is it possible
01:35:52.720 that POTUS Trump is waiting for Prime Minister Mark Carney to call an election, then announce
01:35:58.640 and begin USMCA withdrawal process?
01:36:03.140 I don't think so.
01:36:04.360 I don't think that that would be,
01:36:05.740 I don't think that just would motivate his timing.
01:36:07.880 Maybe he's like done with USMCA and Kuzma.
01:36:11.420 It's just, I don't think it would have anything to do
01:36:13.060 with him calling an election.
01:36:14.300 I also don't think Carney is going to call an election.
01:36:17.820 Again, people have been speculating that
01:36:20.040 because Jasmine Lane had gotten from her American sources
01:36:24.140 that the Canadian negotiators
01:36:26.600 had frequently brought up their polling as being a big issue and all this basically if we sign
01:36:32.480 anything next day we're going to lose five points in the polls now i don't think they're worried
01:36:37.900 about that because they're worried about an election coming up as i said earlier in the
01:36:41.540 stream i think liberals are worried about their poll numbers slumping by signing a deal not
01:36:46.280 because it's a temporary hit that prevents them from calling an election they're worried because
01:36:52.360 that they believe that would probably be a permanent hit because they are no longer the
01:36:56.140 Elbows Up party once they sign something. They're just
01:36:58.100 the party that signed a trade deal and either you like
01:37:00.200 the trade deal or you don't. And in fact
01:37:02.120 a lot of leftists are going to be geared up to hate the
01:37:04.120 trade deal no matter what because they
01:37:06.060 really were only here for the Elbows Up stuff.
01:37:08.140 They weren't here for the actual trade deal.
01:37:10.620 But yeah, I think that it's still a good thought
01:37:12.260 though. You know, he could do it during
01:37:14.080 that time and I'd be
01:37:14.820 I'd wonder if he'd create a rally around the flag
01:37:18.020 effect for Carney or he would take
01:37:19.960 people off in Canada and say, oh my goodness
01:37:21.940 all you're screwing around has got us to this point.
01:37:26.140 uh bo no bo no kitty says uh for five dollars thank you for that is ctv strike versus you
01:37:35.720 and northern perspective a warning shot to indie creators joely proposing action versus c22 police
01:37:42.300 pushing c9 and c11 and c18 not on trade table now i think ctv news the reason they're copyright
01:37:50.500 striking me and i've even had cbc try it before and usually they've withdrawn is i think they
01:37:55.980 really resent the independent creators because a lot of us get frequently especially per capita
01:38:01.180 more views than ctv news and cbc and they don't like the competition and we've done nothing wrong
01:38:06.960 you're allowed to play clips from uh news stations i'm not stealing their content stealing would be
01:38:14.400 like if i just took a ctv news video i just upload it on my channel and pretend it was mine
01:38:18.720 or if like my video was just heavily littered with ctv news clips and i'm barely adding anything to
01:38:24.400 it and i'm making the video trying to cater to that ctv news audience to steal them like i'm
01:38:30.480 pretending i'm the newsman and here's all my ctv clips i'm pretending are just part of my show
01:38:34.920 then you could copyright claim me ctv news is just pretending playing anything from them
01:38:40.240 no matter what the context that's copyright infringement even though 17 times they played 0.96
01:38:45.460 northern perspective clips from their interview with pure polyev they're hypocrites they just
01:38:50.560 don't like the independent media who are boxing them out on youtube who've always done better
01:38:55.220 than them on youtube and so i think that someone in ctv news maybe it's just an intern who hates
01:39:00.380 my guts and ryan and tanya they're just going i think that's maybe also what could be going on
01:39:05.700 here but it's a way of bullying us and stealing our money too because guess what when you copyright
01:39:12.900 strike as soon as you copyright strike any money made after that point is yours if if uh the person
01:39:19.220 doesn't dispute it. It's really ridiculous what ends up happening. But yeah, thanks for the
01:39:26.020 question there, Kitty. BerkleyMoses4221 for $5 says, I think Giovanni and Corey tonight are
01:39:33.360 going to be long-term problems for Pierre. Have Jamil Giovanni's comments been bad in all this?
01:39:42.080 Now, I think that he could have had a, I think there was a phrasing problem with some things
01:39:46.320 he did. I'm not attacking him. I don't think he did anything fatally wrong. I think he was just
01:39:50.780 an easy target to take out of context when he first came out and said, I don't think we should
01:39:55.580 do retaliatory tariffs. And then he blamed Carney and Doug Ford right off the hop. Now,
01:40:00.040 I partly blame Mark Carney. I put significant blame on him for the situation. But unlike
01:40:05.020 Giovanni, I'm not an MP who's going to be opened up to tons of attacks from the media. And my show
01:40:10.860 is like sometimes 50 minutes long because I'm insane and I just ramble forever. But I can
01:40:15.960 explain myself. I didn't think it was smart for Giovanni to post that in such a short-form way
01:40:23.160 that could easily just be interpreted as, look at this Benedict Arnold over here who's siding with
01:40:29.400 his friend J.D. Vance against the carny liberals. That's how it was taken out of context.
01:40:36.120 I think Giovanni is just still a young guy who's very online, but I think he's very right about
01:40:42.560 many things, and I think in other ways he just needs to soften his edges in how he does stuff,
01:40:47.000 and he'll be 10 times the politician. And he's quite a good politician already. I'm not saying
01:40:51.140 I dislike him. Just on a few of those issues, if he's just an adjustment in how he presents
01:40:56.780 himself, a little bit more nuanced, 10 times better. Now Corey T'Nike. Corey T'Nike will be
01:41:02.940 a Thorin and Polly of side because he wants him gone because he's not in the sandbox. And so much
01:41:10.120 of this fighting from Corey DeNike and other guys in the new right who are criticizing Polly of left
01:41:15.580 and right constantly, and also criticizing Carrie Lynn Finley and the BC Conservatives. I work for
01:41:20.220 Dallas Brody in one BC. What they are doing to Carrie Lynn Finley is really gross. All of these 1.00
01:41:26.240 new right guys, Ben Woodfinden, Nahal Singh, Anthony Koch, all these guys who are just attacking
01:41:32.500 constantly, Robin Skies, who's on TikTok and Instagram, his real name's Adam Beattie, just 0.88
01:41:38.460 attacking her relentlessly just hacking away every second they're sore losers because they 0.81
01:41:45.280 lost the bc conservative leadership cory tonight's a sore loser because he lost the bc conservative
01:41:50.520 leadership with caroline elliott and at the same time uh he's also doesn't have his toys in the
01:41:55.720 federal sandbox and he wants his toys in the federal sandbox and he wants jenny burn gone
01:42:00.160 and he wants to replace her now i'm not here to sorry i dropped my phone and i'm sat really weird
01:42:06.360 And I got to admit something, guys.
01:42:08.580 I got to admit something shameful.
01:42:09.860 I sit like Justin Trudeau sometimes because I find it comfortable.
01:42:14.160 I'll try and do a bit of a wider leg sit so I'm not as prissy about it.
01:42:19.460 But I'm not here to defend the honor of Jenny Byrne.
01:42:22.440 Like, far be it from me to defend Jenny Byrne.
01:42:24.540 I got kicked out of a federal nomination probably because she hated my guts for some reason, even though I've never met the woman.
01:42:32.960 I've heard a lot of people hate my guts.
01:42:34.580 But it's just one of those things that, you know, just about being in politics, baby.
01:42:38.680 So I'm not here to defend Jenny Byrne, but Corey tonight just wants to be Jenny Byrne.
01:42:44.680 He just wants to kick her out of her spot and take her spot.
01:42:48.120 And I think it's so toxic.
01:42:49.800 We have like consultant wars going on right now.
01:42:53.900 Nothing to do with ideology.
01:42:55.080 Just like people just taking reflexive positions against each other simply because they want to have their toys in the sandbox.
01:43:05.500 Corey tonight and all these new right guys criticizing online influencers and creators and whatnot and the poly of guys.
01:43:13.800 They're not doing this because they believe the things they're saying.
01:43:16.440 They're just saying whatever they think is going to undermine poly of it's really gross.
01:43:20.420 Dash one dash two says for five dollars.
01:43:22.480 what do you think Quebec would look like without the bloc? Aren't the liberals pandering to Quebec
01:43:26.700 so hard because three-way battles are riskier? If the bloc weren't around, I think the liberals
01:43:32.000 would be doing better in Quebec. It's just a naturally socialistic type province. So the
01:43:36.960 bloc are culturally conservative, even though they're very atheistic and very like woke in a
01:43:42.560 lot of ways, but they're culturally conservative only from the perspective that they don't want
01:43:48.000 like foreign culture replacing their downtown Montreal atheist culture or kind of like old
01:43:55.160 school Quebec Catholic culture in some areas and whatnot. That's what makes them culturally
01:44:01.920 conservative. But they are very fiscally left-wing. If anything, they're more in line with the NDP
01:44:07.520 than they are with the Liberals in terms of fiscal policy. So the Bloc Quebecois sticking
01:44:13.460 round is great for the Conservatives, and if the Bloc wins Chicotimi Le Fjord, Conservatives should
01:44:19.200 breathe a sigh of relief. Fair enough, Richard Martell was the first guy to win that riding a 0.94
01:44:23.920 very long time. He left and we started losing it. That's just how the cookie crumbles sometimes.
01:44:27.780 At least the Bloc won the riding, but I'll get more into that when I end up doing a
01:44:32.820 longer video on all of the election polls. I'm a Conservative Boomer, here says, for $6.99.
01:44:41.080 Ford whines about free trade with the U.S.
01:44:43.680 We don't even have free trade between the provinces.
01:44:46.320 Canada needs to work on that as well as the U.S. trade deal.
01:44:49.860 Great point.
01:44:50.900 I wasn't even thinking about that this entire stream.
01:44:53.340 We don't even have free trade in Canada,
01:44:54.920 and we're going to start badgering the Trump administration
01:44:59.900 that they're not willing to sign a full free trade deal with us.
01:45:03.420 Yes, the hypocrisy never ends in Canada,
01:45:05.740 and thanks for pointing that out, Trish. 0.67
01:45:08.460 That guy, Doucette.
01:45:10.380 It says for $6.99, you, Jasmine, Elevate Moose, Northern Perspective, Mark Nixon, all should start your own broadcast on TV to battle the CBC, Conservative, Avengers channel.
01:45:22.000 Now, this reminds me of an idea.
01:45:24.120 I wanted to start, like, a joint channel between a bunch of the YouTubers.
01:45:27.920 Not that I would run it or something like that.
01:45:29.780 I'd let someone else run it, whoever's, like, the producer for it.
01:45:32.280 It'd be fun to have a joint panel channel where we do weekly panels on a random assortment of bigger YouTubers.
01:45:41.380 I feel like I'm kind of medium to larger, not quite in the 100,000 or higher club yet.
01:45:46.880 I also want to put on a creator's retreat, and I'm trying to organize people to see if they'd be willing to do it,
01:45:51.640 where a bunch of creators go for a sort of business retreat and then go for a hike and then film it,
01:45:57.060 because I feel like half the people would really like it
01:45:59.880 and half the people would be suffering and in pain,
01:46:02.480 which includes myself.
01:46:03.680 I'm not a fit guy.
01:46:05.680 But yeah, I don't think we'd ever start
01:46:08.940 some sort of channel on television or something like that.
01:46:12.420 I think that's still kind of a dying medium.
01:46:15.980 If someone else was going to do it,
01:46:17.280 it'd have to be a professional.
01:46:19.040 But I want to get to this clip now of Mario
01:46:22.840 where he released a tape that someone leaked to him
01:46:26.760 where it's Marilyn Gladju on the phone
01:46:31.420 basically right before she crossed the floor 0.97
01:46:33.860 admitting that the liberals are terrible
01:46:36.500 and well, if I go over there, 0.99
01:46:38.200 maybe I can make them less crazy.
01:46:40.000 I'm going to leave the link for this Mario up north
01:46:43.300 or a Mario Zalaya clip.
01:46:47.380 If you guys want to click on it, like it and share it
01:46:49.960 because we're going to watch it,
01:46:50.800 but I don't want to be stealing views from him.
01:46:52.540 So make sure to go and check it out yourself later
01:46:55.600 to give it a like and whatnot and a retweet on Twitter.
01:47:00.220 But I just want to watch this because it was supposed to be a really funny tape
01:47:03.640 of just her being just blatant about the fact that she only crossed for personal gain reasons 1.00
01:47:08.240 and she knows the Liberals suck. 0.97
01:47:10.420 What I'm about to share with you is exclusive audio from someone who worked at Marilyn Gladue's office. 0.99
01:47:15.800 That is the floor crosser who went over to the Liberals. 0.98
01:47:19.020 Listen to this. 1.00
01:47:20.060 Okay, Marilyn Gladue calling.
01:47:22.040 Listen, I just wanted to talk to you about what happened and whatnot.
01:47:25.200 i just want you to know nothing that is my value or my faith has changed the prime minister has
01:47:32.720 accepted me with all of these views to come inside the government tent and you know i'm already
01:47:39.920 having an influence on issues that we care about i think that the plan that he has to build the
01:47:46.880 country and actually get things built you know both our defense diversified trade combat crime 1.00
01:47:54.640 all of these things they do need some advice to quit doing some of the stupid things they're doing 0.66
01:47:59.200 but he's willing to put the path behind and focus on those things and take advantage of my talents 0.96
01:48:06.000 it'll be better for the riding in terms of the government support that's going to come
01:48:10.480 and honestly my long-term conservative supporters many of them have been saying listen pier can't win
01:48:16.800 and we don't have faith in him you need to get on the government bench or we're voting liberal
01:48:21.920 we would have had an election if i had not given them a majority that would have resulted in us
01:48:27.760 losing 40 to 60 seats on the conservative side and pierre losing his leadership so now this gives
01:48:33.280 them time to rebuild it's actually good for everybody and um honestly don't be dismayed
01:48:39.760 that your work is not wasted and the experience that you're gaining you know please stay in the
01:48:44.080 conservative and help them pick another candidate and uh you know get them elected forward and uh 0.96
01:48:50.800 it's all good not to worry there all the stupid things they're doing additional support coming to 1.00
01:48:58.080 our riding her voters chose her to be a part of the conservative team they didn't vote for her 0.97
01:49:05.040 so she could betray them and join the liberals and by the way i also reject the argument that
01:49:10.480 carney was going to call a snap election if she didn't cross the floor if he called a snap election
01:49:16.480 he would have lost. Even with all the elbows up vote, he would have lost because people would 0.75
01:49:20.960 have seen him saying, we gave you a mandate to negotiate a trade deal. The other parties are
01:49:25.880 saying they're behind you on this. You don't need a majority to do this. Nobody's stopping you from
01:49:30.540 doing the thing that you were elected to do. They would have fallen immediately. But I'm making sure
01:49:34.600 to link that Mario video if you want to go and click off to another tab and just like like and
01:49:39.280 share that. Really good audio. And she's saying, well, it changes nothing about my faith.
01:49:43.980 it kind of does the conservatives are not an explicitly pro-life party but the liberals
01:49:50.060 are an explicitly anti-life party are you going to get them to stop being pro-abortion and pro-made
01:49:55.400 maryland and i there's this one guy uh in here i always like this guy he always pops up sometimes
01:50:01.300 i want to go back to another point he made a little bit uh back here uh pwpwpw1867 says
01:50:08.660 why did pierre allow her to run as a conservative in 2025 if she was bad and that's the thing she
01:50:13.560 wasn't bad. She was actually a very good conservative. If I was to name top 10 conservative
01:50:17.800 MPs at the start of this year, I would have named Marilyn Gladwell among them. She's quite good.
01:50:23.280 The whole point is that if someone radically changes everything they believe, and she's saying,
01:50:28.740 oh, I haven't changed my faith, I haven't changed my principles, well, then why at the Liberal
01:50:32.300 Convention were you denying that you were pro-life and all this other stuff? He's messing around,
01:50:36.780 she's lying. So the whole point is that, yeah, she was very good. And Polly, of course,
01:50:42.580 signs her nomination papers because she'd been around for a while being one of the more flamboyantly
01:50:46.300 conservative people in caucus and i liked her for that and yes as people say are saying in chat right
01:50:51.000 now is pure self-interest i think from knowing people knowing people more conservative than she
01:50:56.580 was even and she was one of the more conservative people people who were both in caucus with her
01:51:02.180 currently as well as people outside she's just kind of a drama queen who didn't feel like she
01:51:07.640 was given enough spotlight and she doesn't really care about the principles at the end of the day
01:51:12.120 And maybe it was really that she was good because she was saying what conservatives wanted to hear.
01:51:17.180 And then right as but she's perfectly willing to play a different role if it's a different avenue for getting attention.
01:51:23.140 And that's something that you always have to watch out for.
01:51:25.800 I wouldn't have known if she was actually really liked that.
01:51:29.060 And people are saying bribe in part.
01:51:30.900 Yes, because now she was probably thinking I'm going to cross and I get an easier gig because I crossed.
01:51:35.740 maybe if she does want to run for re-election
01:51:38.200 maybe she thought somehow 1.00
01:51:39.720 it would be easier for her to win 1.00
01:51:42.220 re-election because she would run 1.00
01:51:43.700 as the person who brought a bunch of subsidies 1.00
01:51:45.960 to the riding and whatnot 0.97
01:51:47.300 I don't think she was personally bribed
01:51:49.120 I don't think she needs the personal bribe
01:51:50.860 she's not a poor person 0.97
01:51:51.980 not that she's super rich either 0.90
01:51:53.260 I just don't think she's motivated by money
01:51:55.140 from everything I know about her 0.97
01:51:57.040 she is apparently very motivated by just attention 1.00
01:51:59.620 she wants the stardom 1.00
01:52:00.900 she wants all that sort of thing
01:52:02.100 and again she's saying 1.00
01:52:04.240 oh, don't worry, I'm going to make them, you know, they're idiots on certain issues or they're crazy or whatever she's on certain issues. 0.99
01:52:10.660 It's like, then become an independent and say, hey, I'm going to sit as an independent and my vote is going to be up for grabs for the government. 0.99
01:52:19.440 And I'm more likely to, I will vote for them on certain issues if they make slight adjustments.
01:52:24.460 I'm not going to ask for as much as the conservatives are.
01:52:26.600 I will just ask for a little bit more in the middle. 0.98
01:52:28.580 If she did that, it would still be stupid, but it would be understandable. 1.00
01:52:31.760 What does she push them on? 0.99
01:52:33.440 What has she made them more rational on?
01:52:35.180 I don't think she's made them more rational on anything.
01:52:38.720 But yeah.
01:52:40.940 Fennon H says, hey, first live stream, live, tuned in.
01:52:43.920 I met you in Kelowna a month or two ago, and I got a photo with you.
01:52:47.620 Well, fantastic.
01:52:48.560 I think I definitely remember you.
01:52:50.160 I think we were all standing to the right side or the right side of your facing from the stage.
01:52:55.380 I think we were all standing over there chatting before you end up going.
01:52:58.180 uh someone says grace is elizabeth may one who crossed no she didn't no she's always been in
01:53:05.160 green party although they start they kind of look slightly similar uh but yeah uh was there
01:53:11.540 another thing i wanted to play uh i want to play the mark warner thing again if anyone hasn't seen
01:53:16.160 it mark warner is so good and if you haven't seen mark warner yet you just need to he he's so good
01:53:24.780 on some of these CBC panels just giving people straight facts about the current trade situation
01:53:31.140 not he's not just trying to dunk on liberals or do anything like that he's just giving them the
01:53:36.180 reality of actually fighting a trade war as the Canadian in this position he's been involved in
01:53:43.040 trade he's and he's been around for a while he was in Canada unlike Mark Carney during the 1988
01:53:48.200 and 89 trade free trade agreement that Brian Mulroney organized? I know there are a lot of
01:53:55.260 people including the prime minister and the minister talking about leverage that Canada has
01:53:58.880 some of the premiers do. I just don't believe the Americans think Canada has leverage. It's very
01:54:04.360 hard for Canada to pull any of the things that people point to as leverage whether it's stopping
01:54:10.340 selling potash okay where are we going to sell it to? How are we going to get it to the Vancouver
01:54:16.240 reports what rails are they going to go on because right now a lot of them get shipped through the
01:54:21.120 u.s oh you want to cut off electricity cells from the atlantic how about they close the pipeline that
01:54:27.200 brings oil and gas from the west under the great lakes into ontario but mark mark if i can inter
01:54:32.480 if i can interrupt for a second we heard from even farmers in iowa who are complaining about
01:54:38.000 what these negotiations are doing to their businesses so there is a ripple effect even
01:54:43.600 it's hurting canadians but certainly those hurts of the cost the inflation the rising prices
01:54:50.160 americans are feeling that can't well i i played this clip on my show the other day it's such a 0.95
01:54:56.960 stupid point that the host cut in and said well people in iowa are complaining it's like okay 0.96
01:55:02.320 and how does that have how does that counter his part that you can't use things like oil and gas 0.99
01:55:06.720 and potash and leverage it's just logistically impossible to use it as leverage without doing
01:55:13.040 massive damage to yourself for not nearly as much damage to the united states as you would think
01:55:19.440 use that in some way no no and i'd say this you know what the real evidence of that since 1984
01:55:25.920 we've had our producers of softwood lumber have faced tariffs from the united states
01:55:30.880 countervailing duties and anti-dumping duties and canadians go down there all the time and they say
01:55:36.000 it's increasing the cost of your housing guess what the tariffs are still in place we don't
01:55:42.080 listen to american politicians when they tell us that dairy supply management increased costs to
01:55:47.360 canadians we don't listen to americans when when we when they tell us that our digital trade policy
01:55:53.200 um and i like this point that he made because it's always america it's always canadians doing
01:55:57.520 the snarky thing of you know the tariffs on you guys the american tariffs actually do raise costs 0.99
01:56:02.800 for americans like yeah i i'm not i'm by the way i'm not a fan of tariffs tariffs are stupid
01:56:07.520 uh but he's right we always tell american consumers you know that you're actually having
01:56:12.000 your costs increased by what trump's doing but like the americans could say you know your supply
01:56:16.880 management system raises costs for canadian consumers right but as he's going to go on to
01:56:21.840 say we'll whenever it's canadian policy we only ever think of producers we never think of our
01:56:25.760 own consumers but then we tell the american consumers what they should feel basically
01:56:30.400 reduces the choices to consumers the strangest part about the way we are negotiating trade
01:56:35.920 agreements since the last great one in the end of the 1980s is our negotiators enter into trade
01:56:41.200 negotiations with one hand tied behind their back they only define a canadian uh win as a producer
01:56:48.000 interest they completely forget about consumers on the other hand as you just said they when they
01:56:53.040 look across the border they make alliances with american consumers we don't listen to people who
01:56:58.320 lecture us about what's in our consumer interest and they don't listen to us um the american
01:57:03.440 president last point i would say very quickly what's distinguished trump in his first six years
01:57:07.280 of his presidency is he's governed by executive authority much more so than american presidents
01:57:13.040 have all american presidents getting into their last two years of their administration have
01:57:17.920 governed more by executive authority this hope that people have about the midterms changing
01:57:22.880 something are we watching the same guy right does donald trump look like something and on top of
01:57:28.800 that last week congress just gave him additional unilateral authority to impose tariffs so if the
01:57:35.840 thesis is correct that the that trump should live in fear of american consumers or american
01:57:42.240 congressional midterms i got to tell you i think a little bit of the psychology of donald trump
01:57:46.720 he's looking and saying what these people who just gave me more power to do what i'm doing well no
01:57:51.520 thanks yeah so i thought that was a great i thought i thought that mark warner was making really good
01:57:57.680 points there and like it's even arguments that i haven't thought to make uh he because of course
01:58:04.160 he's a he's an actual lawyer with experience in the field of trade so he he makes far better
01:58:08.800 points than any of us could and it's like all these people are getting blindsided by somebody
01:58:13.640 actually telling them that like he's not saying you shouldn't even do this if it was realistic
01:58:19.160 he's just saying it's not realistic you can't do that you can't just say no potash who are you
01:58:23.520 going to sell it to? Genuinely, good question. How are you going to save all those Saskatchewan
01:58:29.480 jobs if you're going to do mine potash? You're going to produce it for nobody? Just kind of
01:58:36.440 piling it up somewhere or whatever and then just saying, well, we'll start selling it to you
01:58:40.920 eventually. Eventually, they're just going to lay people off because what's the point? You can't
01:58:44.900 just shut off the taps. And I want to bring up, I think Danielle Smith said that obviously we're
01:58:51.020 not going to be turning off the taps to America. That's just irrational. Rob Anderson, her chief
01:58:57.140 of staff, ended up making this point as to how irrational Nahid Nenshi is being when it comes to
01:59:05.220 this. Actually, no, no, he didn't respond to it, although I'll still show this because he ended up
01:59:11.260 slapping at Jason Kenney, who, despite being an ex-Alberta premier, doesn't understand how the
01:59:16.340 oil and gas industry works ctv news calgary reports x alberta premier jason kenney says
01:59:21.720 oil needs to be on the table in u.s tariff war he's trying to get himself headlines even though
01:59:26.920 he's saying something irrational rob anderson here says now how do i say this politely not a chance
01:59:32.140 in hell we won't gamble with the livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of albertans ever and i
01:59:37.620 think it might have been bruce mccallister who then pointed out like in terms of oil and gas
01:59:43.480 infrastructure, you can't just turn off the taps. Okay, yes, he is the one who ended up saying it.
01:59:51.680 I think this is it. Oh, it might not have been it. He still made a good comment I want to
01:59:56.200 highlight anyway. So Nahid Nenshi had a whole live event today where he was saying that the
02:00:01.780 Alberta New Democrats calling the Premier and the UCB government to stand with Canada and take
02:00:05.660 action in response to Donald Trump's latest acts on Canadian sovereignty, some idea that we're
02:00:09.440 going to export tax are oil and gas, which has the same problem of just turning off the taps.
02:00:14.000 If you put a massive export tax on oil and gas, what you're going to do is the Americans are just
02:00:19.240 not going to buy it, which means that you don't have anywhere to put the stuff you're not selling,
02:00:23.780 which means that you're going to hurt your infrastructure unless you're just going to let
02:00:27.280 dump onto the roads, onto just the ground. You need to put it somewhere or you need to use it.
02:00:32.760 And if nobody wants it, it creates a lot of problems. Maybe you could put a low export tax
02:00:38.760 on like seven percent ten percent to try and get them to come to the table i just don't think in a
02:00:44.480 short run and even in the medium term that would be enough pressure anyways and if you make it too
02:00:49.000 high they're just not going to buy it and then we're just you know we're just out of luck we
02:00:53.320 don't know what we're doing here well bruce mccallister here who's her executive director
02:00:57.180 for daniel smith says nenshi wants a presser daniel smith wants pipelines jobs and actual
02:01:02.580 leverage nenshi's boss federal ndp leader avi lewis wants to ban new oil and gas development
02:01:07.820 that's the party, that's the record, that's the insanity
02:01:10.800 Premier Smith is standing with Canada
02:01:13.540 the only way that matters, by making Alberta stronger and not weaker
02:01:16.260 which is right, that's actually how you gain leverage
02:01:18.900 by making your economy more robust and stronger
02:01:22.360 not shooting yourself in the foot
02:01:24.380 hoping that because the American's foot's on the other side
02:01:27.360 that they're going to cry uncle first 0.82
02:01:29.440 when you're doing more damage to yourself
02:01:31.260 Milo Nexus for $5 says
02:01:34.160 block values are from fighting oppression from the catholic church in the end of the 1960s
02:01:39.500 lots of history of quebec being oppressed in the past uh yeah well you know as a baptist i'd
02:01:47.040 probably agree at least in part with them you know going after the catholic church or whatever
02:01:51.900 although i would disagree probably with their conclusions of what social values should end up
02:01:56.760 but what do i know i'm some western canadian protestant um king od for five bucks here says
02:02:05.240 why do you think the conservatives should prosecute liberals when they get into power for all their
02:02:09.640 finance financial and other crimes financial crimes and other crimes i i think so in the
02:02:17.400 sense that some of the stuff has been so egregious i wouldn't go hog wild and just be like prosecuting
02:02:22.500 everybody you have to be a little measured in how you do it they should prosecute some people
02:02:26.460 some of the stuff has been egregious contracts to friends for tens of millions of dollars to
02:02:30.920 basically do no work a lot of stuff is ridiculous like the launch pad out in nova scotia uh mxn
02:02:38.020 ghost vision says pierre should go on harry rosen for more suits i don't don't don't go to harry
02:02:45.400 rosen he lives remember his riding's in alberta he should go to o'connor's in calgary it's the
02:02:50.020 best menswear store in calgary easily it's where i bought this sweater recently this nice green
02:02:55.020 sweater that shows up a little more blue on camera but i can assure you it's kind of like a
02:02:59.520 more green leaning turquoise barking up the right tree says for 6.99 i also like that name i like
02:03:07.380 saying stuff that's like uh the the inversion of a normal saying 6.99 says i definitely agree that
02:03:14.480 uh that sane creators should do more together that retreat sounds hilarious it would be like
02:03:20.280 a retreat where i've pitched that we should all go to white horse uh now like i wouldn't be like
02:03:25.180 trying to disappoint people i think you'd have to get invited to go uh because it would be because
02:03:29.520 you know i think some creators would be like uncomfortable if someone had like 2 000 subscribers
02:03:33.600 only and was obviously like very desperate to like get other people to like want to make videos
02:03:39.040 with them and like you want to make it like kind of calm but now now i'm kind of saying too many
02:03:43.320 details in public that don't really need to be said i i you need to limit how many people end
02:03:47.780 up showing up so I'd probably have thresholds for how many subscribers and views you would need to
02:03:52.160 have to show up and it wouldn't be an elitist thing it'd be like well anyone who wants to come
02:03:56.360 who wouldn't make it this year probably could make it next year it just takes you know a little bit
02:04:00.400 of that effort you know at some point I wouldn't have been able to apply for it uh but I think
02:04:04.940 that'd be fun to do like videos together seminars have you know Ezra Lovant flown out to do a key
02:04:10.300 keynote speech on independent media and whatnot the origins Myron for $20 says supply management
02:04:16.020 does not end with dairy it's poultry both meat and eggs it's pork it's beef and people wonder
02:04:21.680 why things cost so much i didn't know that it applied to pork and beef i always thought
02:04:25.840 historically it was just chicken eggs dairy obviously anything to do with dairy milk cheese
02:04:31.900 all that stuff i thought it was just that um if it applies to pork and and meat too but maybe to
02:04:37.700 a lesser extent that's also bad and it's one of those things that it would make canadians lives
02:04:42.480 so much better to get rid of it. And if you're prime minister, we're making Myron prime minister
02:04:48.180 again. Good job. You're getting your second term. If we got rid of it, everything would be so much
02:04:54.980 better in the trade agreement too. Not only is life better by just getting rid of supply management
02:04:59.240 in general, but if you put that on the table, Trump has made the farmers one of the main
02:05:05.360 constituencies that he's trying to serve in these trade talks. Again, I don't like the tariffs,
02:05:11.020 But his main thing is he's trying to win votes with certain farms.
02:05:14.100 He wants to drive out farmer turnout with these trade talks by trying to get rid of supply management.
02:05:19.440 If we put supply management on the table fully, we could probably get a really good trade deal.
02:05:23.840 Because we could say, this is a high-value item.
02:05:26.200 I'm not just giving it to you for nothing.
02:05:28.840 Myron says, but I can see, I can, from my front lawn, what is he saying here?
02:05:33.460 oh myron says i could launch a model rocket off that launch pad but
02:05:40.340 yeah well you'd be the first one to actually use the launch pad in nova scotia if you fired one
02:05:44.960 off from there but yeah so trump's been doing a lot of signaling towards the farmers if we even
02:05:50.020 slightly if we let's say let's let's we turn supply management to half strength whatever
02:05:55.360 that would relatively mean and then trump would have a big win under his belt with the farmers
02:06:02.300 And then he'd probably be able to say, hey, I'm going to get rid of,
02:06:06.920 I can basically get rid of some of the tariffs,
02:06:09.060 if not lower them as close to zero as possible, if not zero.
02:06:12.520 You have to give something of big value for him to give it back.
02:06:15.860 And you could say, well, it's so cruel that he put the tariffs on us in the first place.
02:06:19.100 Like, okay, okay.
02:06:20.680 But this was the game that we have set in front of us.
02:06:23.320 We can't just, like Carney says, we can't wish for a world that doesn't exist.
02:06:26.900 This is the thing that's been set in front of us.
02:06:28.860 We have to work with it.
02:06:29.920 sasquatch chronicle says look at the bright side canada still has its space program
02:06:35.520 and that launch pad yeah i guess we can always wish to go to a different planet and not have
02:06:41.580 to live on this one with mark carney uh we can always use that launch pad to do something like
02:06:45.880 that ronald do do w says trump subsidizes farmers just like we do he does of course subsidies are
02:06:56.460 all over both Canada and America, although it has been shown by people like Food Professor
02:07:01.500 and I think other creators as well, that per capita, we actually do with our dairy subsidize
02:07:08.160 our dairy farmers more than the United States. Now, maybe they're missing certain metrics, but
02:07:12.560 it's at least an even ballgame, we can say. And by the way, we could probably reduce the amount
02:07:18.560 of subsidies if both markets were opened up to each other. Now, if the Americans are subsidizing
02:07:24.760 there's more than ours, know what we could do? We could say to Trump, okay, we're getting rid of
02:07:28.900 supply management, but if you're subsidizing your farmers a lot, we will have to put in place a
02:07:34.240 tariff to make up for the fact that we're not competing on a level playing field if they're
02:07:38.760 putting subsidized milk into our market and we aren't. Now, obviously, we are subsidizing our
02:07:44.660 milk, but let's say we could say weapons down, let's stop subsidizing both sides, but we're
02:07:49.240 going to have a full free market. If we did that, maybe we could actually get away with
02:07:53.620 just having no supply management
02:07:55.940 with no damage being dealt to the current
02:07:58.000 people who rely on it.
02:08:00.420 Bo No Kitty
02:08:01.580 3497 for $5. Thank you
02:08:03.940 for that. How soon do we see
02:08:05.820 money printing to aid bailouts
02:08:07.740 versus tariffs, but not for the other
02:08:09.840 issues, cough, cough, recession, technically?
02:08:12.620 Well, I think we're already
02:08:13.900 printing money all the time anyways.
02:08:16.020 We obviously had to print a lot of money
02:08:17.780 for all the major projects type
02:08:19.780 stuff that Carney's pursuing.
02:08:21.100 um yeah we're gonna we're gonna need a lot of money printing to pay for the 25 billion dollars
02:08:26.780 of package of of subsidies for the companies losing money on the on the on the uh the new
02:08:34.380 round of tariffs and the old ones that are still persisting
02:08:36.980 pw pw pw pw says mega has no power why work with him and not the dnc in congress
02:08:47.640 the republicans hold all three branches well they they hold senate they hold the house and
02:08:55.540 they hold the presidency and right now based on the way the polls are going uh the republicans
02:09:00.600 are probably going to win the senate because the democratic candidates are just genuinely crazy
02:09:04.840 like to the left of the ndp in canada in many cases and like people like um abdul al-sayed are
02:09:11.380 just going to get wiped out in michigan uh other candidates are quite bad troy jackson is almost as
02:09:16.780 bad as Graham Plattner in Maine. Susan Collins is probably going to be able to beat him.
02:09:23.680 There's no reason to reach out to the DNC. By the way, it probably hurt the DNC if it looked like
02:09:30.120 they're working with Canadians to try and undermine America. That's how it would work. 0.91
02:09:34.920 That's the exact same thing people accuse conservative podcasters like myself of.
02:09:39.580 Oh, you want America to beat Canada. I don't. I want Canada to get the best deal.
02:09:43.860 But the thing is, let's act as if I was going and just saying that we should hope the Republicans smash Carney because it's good for the conservatives. Obviously, that would hurt a lot of conservative support. Let's say if it's full on the conservative party was doing that. Imagine if the government of Canada was just openly endorsing Democrats. It would be in every Republican ad that the only people endorsing Democrats are from Canada.
02:10:08.100 you know it would just be a bad idea again they're just not in government the democratic
02:10:13.100 national convention does not have more power than the republicans do and it's even a knife's edge
02:10:17.940 if the democrats even would win back the house even though typically the party out of power
02:10:22.640 wins midterms but they've just picked so many nutcase candidates
02:10:26.260 b dar bar day 21 says hi white ahoy ahoy to you too why trump all the time and not u.s congress
02:10:37.080 and senate on media peace alley um are you talking about in terms of like they've put so much focus
02:10:48.760 on to trump and not onto congress i can see your point because that was something that mark warner
02:10:53.320 had said congress gave trump these powers democrats voted for it because many of them are in favor of
02:10:58.840 the subsidies uh sorry not subsidies the tariffs which is why pwpwpw is wrong about it there is
02:11:04.760 people there are tons of democrats who are protectionists and yeah i think they should
02:11:09.400 they trump's a good villain so that's why they like to focus on him but a lot of people in the
02:11:13.900 dnc are in favor of protectionism but the liberals don't want to say that because they are you know
02:11:20.740 they want to push this idea that it's right wingers that's the problem of canada it's trump
02:11:27.180 in those right-wingers yeah as dr or d robert says dnc is near doomed at least in the senate
02:11:36.120 the house is still going to be really really tight uh ronald doe dowend or whatever says
02:11:42.700 latest polls have dems ahead the difference is that the generic ballot democrats need to win
02:11:48.880 the generic ballot by like eight percent or more to actually flip the house or it's like more than
02:11:55.100 like seven. The problem for the Democrats is that they really, really get really high turnouts
02:12:00.400 in Manhattan, San Francisco, LA, and other sort of congressional districts like that.
02:12:05.920 But it's the swing districts that the Democrats don't do that well in relative to their polling.
02:12:12.760 And so that's where the Republicans have a big advantage. Their incumbents obviously have the
02:12:18.180 advantage of being incumbents. And the Democrats have put some turkeys of candidates in place.
02:12:22.860 And so while, yes, they'll have 75, 80 percent of the vote in certain San Francisco districts, the problem is, is that they're going to lose some Virginia ones, some Florida ones, Michigan ones, you know, by a couple points here and there because of bad candidates.
02:12:38.760 John James is probably going to end up becoming the governor of Michigan.
02:12:41.760 He's going to pull a lot of Republican Congress people over the finish line to victory.
02:12:45.940 And he's going to be and the Democrats are in big trouble because their candidates are too radical.
02:12:49.740 tracy w5754 says why how much will liberals steal and scam out of the 25 billion package
02:12:57.760 as much as they can get away with probably uh really depends on what they're going to end up
02:13:02.700 subsidizing of course uh pwpwpw says democrats are united behind their leaders mega and neocons
02:13:11.760 are fighting not really uh the the republicans vanquished all of the woke right kind of nut
02:13:18.260 case candidates the dan balzarians the james fishbacks the mark lynches they all got wiped
02:13:24.940 out it's the dnc that's having a problem with uh the uh the the dsa candidates winning all over
02:13:31.720 the place that you're going to get a lot of moderate democrats and independents who will
02:13:35.800 not show up for them like the nixon lady who was running for the democrats in florida who's endorsed 1.00
02:13:41.340 by the DSA. She's absolutely nuts and she's going to hurt a lot of congressional Democrats who are 1.00
02:13:49.440 running for the House because most people like to show up. Most people show up for Senate and 1.00
02:13:56.620 Governor. People like to show up for the biggest races and when you're a terrible candidate and
02:14:01.320 you have terrible candidates for the big races, they don't show up and vote for the people and
02:14:04.880 the smaller ones either. That's the problem. And as this person points out, which is right,
02:14:11.340 The DNC is bankrupt. And as Angela Williams points out, Anthony Housefather, question mark? Yeah, so the Liberal MP from Mount Royal in Quebec, Anthony Housefather, went to go and hit doors for Debbie Wasserman Schultz in her re-election campaign for the Democratic primary in her Florida district.
02:14:30.760 running for somebody who is pro-protectionist
02:14:34.100 by the way, if anyone's
02:14:35.820 keeping score
02:14:36.440 and Scasquatch Chronicles
02:14:40.120 is right, and this is also saying Mark Warner said
02:14:41.880 even if Trump loses the midterms
02:14:43.620 means nothing to Canada, Trump will have the exact same
02:14:45.780 powers, yep
02:14:46.900 Raptor Fan says
02:14:49.620 White, you should interview David Colletto 0.97
02:14:51.080 he doesn't have DMs open, I'd invite him
02:14:53.920 I just have no real good way of
02:14:55.560 contacting him right now
02:14:57.160 Angela Williams says
02:14:59.440 we are classical liberal. Yes, we are. We are actual classical liberals. Current Canadian
02:15:04.380 liberals are modern liberals, and they believe that, you know, that government has a big role
02:15:09.960 in the free market, in basically society in general, where classical liberals, of course,
02:15:14.980 are like what conservatives really are. Myron says, we want Canada to succeed. That only comes
02:15:22.680 from getting rid of the liberals. Well, absolutely. And that's, I'm not, it's not unpatriotic to want 0.58
02:15:27.680 the people holding the economy down to leave us alone yeah right wing nest right wing nest says
02:15:35.460 people forget the party in power never wins the midterms it's not that they never do it it does
02:15:39.600 sometimes happen uh you sometimes do come out on top in fact trump has always had a decent record
02:15:45.700 in midterms um in 2018 he won one of the houses or i think he lost both in 2018 2020 oddly enough
02:15:54.260 even though biden won trump and the republicans won the senate and then the democrats barely won
02:16:01.420 the house 22 the trump republic trump actually i think they didn't win back the house or i think
02:16:07.660 they barely won back the house in the senate it's been very up and down but trump has been able to
02:16:14.520 hold on to one house and not and not the other whereas like obama was awful in the midterms in
02:16:19.880 2010 he just lost everything and then in 2014 he lost everything again uh i think he actually in
02:16:26.040 2012 he actually lost congress even though he was on the ballot again and you would assume that
02:16:30.520 would help him uh why would you tour would you uh why you would love a tour redison motors not
02:16:39.280 far drive from you soon to be riding uh in calgary well maybe i could just see that
02:16:45.920 okay harris hch says for five dollars i'm concerned that the economy shrinks fast
02:16:57.120 and businesses close down due to the tariffs the unemployment rates have been high and the
02:17:01.480 close downs may worsen it and the problem is the subsidies are going to be hard to target to the
02:17:06.360 right people it's hard it's easy to target to the big factories that could shut down
02:17:10.300 but the smaller players in all of it are the ones who usually go first because they're easy to ignore
02:17:16.180 Myron for $5 says,
02:17:17.620 Yup, it's awesome listening to someone who thinks, has brain, and can actually form proper sentences.
02:17:23.400 Well, thank you, and hopefully that applies to me and you weren't meeting somebody else.
02:17:27.080 But thank you for watching the show, of course.
02:17:31.040 Pauly Market, Senate, 52 Democrat, 48 Republican.
02:17:34.920 Yeah, don't listen to Pauly Market.
02:17:36.300 The Pauly Market thought James Fishback had a 15% chance of winning the Senate race or the governor's race in Florida,
02:17:43.860 and he got 11% of the vote to Byron Donald's 48%.
02:17:47.760 James Fishback didn't even come in second place.
02:17:51.300 Polymarket's fine.
02:17:52.340 Remember, Francesca Hong had a 99% chance of winning 0.84
02:17:56.520 the Wisconsin Senate or Wisconsin Governor's nomination,
02:18:02.440 and she got destroyed by this Crowley guy
02:18:04.740 who was down 24% in all these cooked polls that ended up coming out.
02:18:09.440 So Polymarket can be very manipulated by bad information.
02:18:13.660 It's sometimes good when everyone who's voting in it has good information.
02:18:17.800 Like Harris versus Trump, Polymark was pretty accurate because there's a lot of information that's very accessible.
02:18:24.680 The more local the races get and the bigger the scope is, it's harder for people to understand and their bets don't mean as much.
02:18:32.960 Brandon Stone for $5 says, I'm a socialist, but I take free market conservatives over crony, capitalists, liberals any day.
02:18:40.720 well that's weird that you're a socialist but you know i guess more power to you for watching the
02:18:45.020 show uh thank you for giving me your socialist five dollars um and well in a certain sense i
02:18:54.720 think you might want to think about what the liberals really are because socialism is government
02:18:59.640 control of the economy it doesn't mean government ownership the economy that would be communism where
02:19:03.720 they literally own every factory a lot of the things the liberals do that don't work is socialism
02:19:09.520 in the sense that it's the control of the dairy industry and poultry and chicken and beef and
02:19:15.560 pork, as I've been told, that also is included in it. That's a socialist system. It doesn't mean
02:19:21.020 private firms aren't involved, but it means private firms are basically only operating
02:19:24.580 at the behest of government, that government tells you exactly what you're going to produce,
02:19:28.600 however much you're going to sell it for, and all this stuff. That is socialism. And socialism isn't
02:19:33.380 the, you know, there's the hammer and sickle on the front of the factory, and that's where you,
02:19:37.080 I don't know, you help make chain link fences for the government or whatever for the concentration camps.
02:19:47.520 Socialism controls the economy.
02:19:52.420 You can be a socialist country with no nationalized brands.
02:19:56.160 You can all be private, but if they're all basically only being able to operate with what the government tells them to do, that is socialism.
02:20:03.300 uh uh jessica says will dean and i think i mean assuming dean allison will dean and jamil be
02:20:14.180 kicked out of caucus no they're not going to be jessica says i disagree with a vaccine inquiry
02:20:19.600 i think i should be more about the lockdowns and anti-vaccine misinformation but it's no reason to
02:20:24.820 kick them dean allison i i've been told he's absolutely being backed by polyev it doesn't
02:20:29.600 mean that every MP agrees with what he's doing, but he's allowed to. And honestly, his vaccine
02:20:34.720 inquiry, I think is perfectly fine. Maybe I wouldn't agree with every vaccine opinion he has,
02:20:39.560 but he is doing a good job of bringing people in with vaccine injuries, with verified injuries,
02:20:44.480 not because you do, this is the problem with some of the stuff, you do get people who will claim an
02:20:49.060 injury who will not, can't prove it. And sometimes it gets attention seeking behavior type people
02:20:55.140 showing up, but Dean is not doing that. He's not putting up with anyone who wants to sit on
02:20:59.380 Santa's knee and say they have a vaccine injury. He's having verified people, and there's a lot
02:21:03.480 of them. Not as many as some people would claim, oh, there's millions. No, there's
02:21:07.340 probably thousands, tens of thousands, and you shouldn't ignore them just because it's a small
02:21:11.240 portion of the population. Doesn't mean it's absolutely wrong what they were
02:21:15.180 forced to get when they had concerns. But yeah, I don't think either of them are getting kicked out.
02:21:21.540 Hey, well, thanks, Tracy, for saying you like my
02:21:23.200 watching my takes on things.
02:21:24.600 uh pw pw pw or is it pw pw pw yeah it is right-wing populace and left-wing populace
02:21:35.100 agree on a lot well i would say that because the right-wing populace are not actually right-wing
02:21:39.480 you know joel webin nick fuentes tucker carlson they're not right-wing they believe in government
02:21:45.720 control of things jd vance is not right-wing um i i always think jamil giovanni is like the smart
02:21:51.240 version of J.D. Vance. I don't agree with everything
02:21:53.280 Jamil thinks, but he's actually
02:21:54.920 conservative. J.D. Vance these days
02:21:57.060 is increasingly like a 1970s
02:21:59.560 protectionist Democrat
02:22:00.640 with like some more social conservative
02:22:03.160 talking points. That's kind of it.
02:22:09.480 Control, control, control.
02:22:11.320 Probably when I was talking about socialism
02:22:12.940 you said that.
02:22:17.180 The Outcast video says,
02:22:18.760 I will never forget sitting in a gymnasium in a sea of
02:22:21.120 chairs waiting to see which one of us all gets the unlucky reaction to the vax weirdest day of my
02:22:25.960 life yeah a little dystopian in a lot of ways rabbi say rap rabbi sadies for five dollars says
02:22:34.500 i've said it before in northern perspective chat but midnight mid 1900s germany and russians are
02:22:41.460 all socialists the germans were actually closer to what we have now yes nazis communists and fascists
02:22:49.760 are all socialists they all just have a different way of controlling the economy 0.67
02:22:54.400 soviets do it directly where they operate everything or pretty much everything even
02:23:00.320 stalin never had full control over the economy because it's just too big eventually you're 0.59
02:23:04.280 gonna have peasant farmers way out there in the boonies that you can't really get there and tell
02:23:08.160 them what to do uh but yeah like fascist italy is a trade unionist socialism where the entire
02:23:15.100 economy was run by the government and black shirt trade union thugs and people are saying well it's
02:23:20.560 not really trade unions because they banned other forms of trade unions i'm like what do you think
02:23:24.800 trade unionists are they're not pro-freedom they're socialists of course they only favor
02:23:29.440 the trade unions they like but everything's still run by the trade unions and the government
02:23:33.760 and then a nazi germany pretty much unless you did exactly what the state wanted and they
02:23:38.620 nationalized a lot they privatized stuff quote unquote which would be they would sell a state
02:23:44.500 asset i'm not even kidding the nazis would sell state assets to the nazi party so it was the deep
02:23:50.900 state nationalizing things from the state which is so wild so you would have certain things that
02:23:56.440 were run by the government be run by the nazi party instead like what no but they're capitalists
02:24:02.820 guys like people were delusional uh lores singh says who do you uh what why what do you think
02:24:10.220 Vance or Rubio for 2028?
02:24:12.200 I would take Rubio.
02:24:13.680 I would prefer Ted Cruz. I like Ted Cruz
02:24:16.300 quite a bit. Ted Cruz,
02:24:18.240 I like Mike Johnson.
02:24:20.380 Maybe Rubio. Ben Shapiro
02:24:22.120 says he's a risk-averse, which I could say.
02:24:24.180 Which I could see.
02:24:26.980 Right-wing 1.00
02:24:27.760 Nest says, retards think the 1.00
02:24:30.160 Jews did everything. 0.91
02:24:31.940 Honestly, anti-Semites always make Jews sound 0.96
02:24:34.040 probably cooler 0.98
02:24:34.920 than they are. 1.00
02:24:37.740 It's always that joke that Jewish people, every time
02:24:39.920 to want to uh it was that old joke about a jew living in nazi germany and one guy was saying how
02:24:45.920 horrible everything is uh living there but one guy said but if you open up a nazi newspaper it's so
02:24:50.920 amazing i didn't know all the things that we controlled and all the stuff that we owned
02:24:54.200 uh jessica says for 279 my cats my cats had six kittens on sunday well congratulations jessica
02:25:02.040 for being the the mom of six cats or the the co-mom of six cats
02:25:07.040 uh karen law says will ted cruz run i don't know it's just it's so far out you never know
02:25:15.300 who's gonna run for something uh love the chat tonight people great uh great people here i'll
02:25:26.000 probably and yeah ben shapiro is the man i hate when people said that they don't like him anymore
02:25:30.360 or whatever like oh i've gotten i'm too old for i'm too old for ben shapiro i've upgraded i'm
02:25:35.620 better than him uh he just destroys kids on college campuses it's like whatever be ungrateful
02:25:41.260 for the guy who really helped kick off a lot of mainstream conservative content on youtube he's
02:25:45.920 still good he's still good i liked him back back like eight years ago um and that sounds like a
02:25:52.000 long time i still watch his show every day if i can now um he used to be better but i think it's
02:25:57.520 because these days he tries to do too much news like he tries to go through too many topics
02:26:01.220 and i would say like that should be what the morning wire is for they should go through all
02:26:04.740 the news topics and you should focus on two to four really state i love when he used to do stuff
02:26:10.360 where he would just talk about um like the republican primary debates in 2015 and 2016
02:26:17.540 he would give letter grades to every single candidate talk about their performance play
02:26:22.600 some clips including the undercard debate of the people with only like one to three percent of the
02:26:27.440 vote i thought that was always really interesting the way ben shapiro did that and these days the
02:26:32.280 only criticism i have of him one is he says thing too much if you know i mean he says do the thing
02:26:38.620 the thing they believe in the thing everyone thinks the thing like he he uses the word thing
02:26:44.340 too much as a filler word for like whatever the big word of the of the topic is which i think he 0.58
02:26:51.520 has to stop doing because it makes him sound a little bit dumb even though he's a very bright
02:26:54.860 guy um and then the other thing he does is just too many stories just goes through way too many
02:27:00.080 stories which means he never really settles in and sinks his teeth into one because i just want
02:27:04.280 to hear him analyze stuff i don't really care to hear him just tell me the cliff notes version of
02:27:08.460 a news story because that's not the point of watching him yeah thank you for everyone for
02:27:13.480 showing up i'll try to wind down now uh just because it's you know it's getting a bit late
02:27:18.380 and it's been two and a half hours at this point but thank you for everyone for showing up i'll
02:27:23.640 still look at chat for a little bit uh yes people are saying ted cruz has renounced his canadian
02:27:29.320 citizenship. He's from my city
02:27:31.440 of Calgary. By the way, you have
02:27:33.340 595 people
02:27:34.820 on, and someone
02:27:37.480 saying I should read up on the attention economy.
02:27:39.360 Maybe I'll look into that. And someone
02:27:41.260 else sent a super chat, so I'll make sure I won't end
02:27:43.260 by that time. If you
02:27:45.420 live in the riding of Calgary
02:27:47.560 Curry, the provincial riding,
02:27:49.460 I'm going to be running for the UCP nomination
02:27:51.380 for this riding.
02:27:53.100 I think the
02:27:54.680 UCP establishment is
02:27:56.700 warming up to the idea of me
02:27:59.240 running. But this is the map. I'm just going to turn my little crappy camera here. You can see
02:28:05.200 the sides of my computer. I'm going to close it a bit. Oh my goodness, now it's getting worse.
02:28:09.900 Okay. Okay. There we go. There we go. So this is the map of Calgary Curry. This is where I'm going
02:28:17.460 to be running for the nomination. You know, Killarney here, Westgate, Glenmorgan, those kind
02:28:24.020 areas uh whatever there's glengarry in here which makes me really want to do a uh what was it glengarry
02:28:33.240 glen ross is that that's the movie's title i want to do a video where i parody glengarry glen ross
02:28:40.600 where i'm like i want the good votes i want the glengarry votes everyone in glengarry better vote
02:28:46.260 for me because i want i want the good leads the glengarry leads uh the killarney is kind of like
02:28:52.840 the area where the mvp won by like 13 points in this riding they won by 25 points in bank view
02:28:59.120 right here and they won by 33 points in senalta elsewhere curry down here uh in this glenbrook
02:29:09.380 area glenmore area westgate spruce cliff even down into gear around uh west uh gate or whatever
02:29:18.360 not westgate somewhere else those are the areas where the ucp ended up winning either by two
02:29:26.520 points or the ndp won by two points or it was a tie that's the funny thing with the the riding
02:29:31.480 it was very close everywhere but bank view sinalta and killarney so if i can basically just reduce
02:29:38.680 the ndp lead on the east side of the riding and try and fight killarney to a standstill or win it
02:29:45.320 a little bit if i can then make the ucp margins much better elsewhere it is much easier to win
02:29:50.860 it is so much easier for the ucp to win it will be a knife fight riding everywhere every both
02:29:56.120 poly wave and 338 still predict the ndp would win so i don't think i obviously i'm gonna swagger in
02:30:02.360 here and win i do like a tough fight because this one's gonna be fun uh and i think and i'm running 0.87
02:30:07.400 into janet aramanco who's nuts who's out of her mind she literally i've been told at one point 1.00
02:30:13.040 bragged. I still have to verify this. I will try. Apparently she bragged because she used to be a 0.82
02:30:17.400 drug non-profit person. She used to work for a drug non-profit. She bragged at one point about 1.00
02:30:23.600 handing out crack pipes to homeless people. She wants the drug abuse sites back open all over
02:30:30.900 the city. She wants to bring back, not bring back, but she wants to bring safe supply to Alberta 0.99
02:30:35.360 after it did so well in British Columbia and Toronto. She wants all that. And then she also
02:30:41.600 wants drug abuse housing, where there's no real requirement to actually get sober. You can just 0.99
02:30:47.760 harass a community just sitting there, an addict, never actually getting over your problem and
02:30:52.700 creating problems for everybody. Yeah, she's out of her mind. And she also wants to defund 0.99
02:30:56.820 charter schools, all this crap. And I think it actually is somewhat easy to win. So I'll just 0.97
02:31:01.940 drop a link to my website. If you live in the riding, sign up on the website. Even if you don't
02:31:05.840 live in the riding, you still sign up. And I try and if I know there's a race and your postal code
02:31:09.680 happens to be in it i'll just go through the let's call people and let them know who i like
02:31:13.280 uh but some other people sent some stuff in jacob snyder 7304 says new york times canadian
02:31:20.480 officials confirmed carney was leveraging removal of canadian blockade of keystone xl
02:31:25.400 to get special consideration for subsidized laurentian industries a milch a cow defines 0.78
02:31:31.400 confederation and yeah like we talked about this earlier it's so pathetic that like maybe trump 0.71
02:31:38.620 demanded some things at the last moment too? Apparently Carney did. The New York Times 0.84
02:31:43.160 isn't exactly a Trump ally paper. They're not going to say something that makes Trump look good
02:31:48.040 if they don't have to. Yeah, so they got the inside scoop that Carney decided that I'm not
02:31:54.220 going to let you build Keystone XL unless you let me keep C11 and C18 and all this other stuff.
02:32:00.000 Like, what? What are you talking? See, Keystone's good for us in general.
02:32:06.140 what are you doing you're holding up a good project we should want that anyways that's the
02:32:11.880 dumb thing he makes concessions things that we probably i'd get rid of anyways i don't like the 0.97
02:32:16.180 streaming tax i don't like the dst i don't like gordy howbridge thing that was dumb but if you're 0.98
02:32:21.080 going to give a concession on gordy howbridge and then get rid of those other two things duct tape
02:32:24.220 them together and say i'm only going to give you these three things gordy howbridge dst i'm going
02:32:30.080 to give you the streaming tax i'll just i'll just get rid of the whole thing but you need aluminum
02:32:35.840 to go to zero. Or I want aluminum
02:32:37.680 tariffs to go to 10%.
02:32:40.140 I'll give you all these things.
02:32:42.360 In exchange for these three, I need
02:32:43.840 it down to 10.
02:32:45.340 If you want to win, you're going to have to do this.
02:32:47.640 He can do this. Bacardi sucks at negotiating 0.98
02:32:49.680 despite claiming otherwise. 0.99
02:32:52.200 And then King Odie says
02:32:53.700 for two bucks, another great livestream. I hope you get elected.
02:32:56.460 I hope to.
02:32:57.640 And even if I got elected, by the way, I would
02:32:59.800 still just keep making videos because why would
02:33:01.740 I stop? I control this channel.
02:33:03.860 I would maybe be like,
02:33:05.840 a little bit less jabby if I'm talking about something where I don't want to create
02:33:10.500 Chris headache for Danielle Smith not that I'm like saying wild radical things but let's say
02:33:16.780 if they're trying to negotiate with like Doug Ford I'm not going to make fun of Doug Ford as much
02:33:21.100 but I'd constantly be going after liberals still and talking about other political issues I just
02:33:26.560 would make sure I'm not talking about Alberta stuff because that would be a little bit exploitative
02:33:30.700 of I'd still talk about it I would just not like you'd have to separate what I would talk about
02:33:36.120 from like a an account for my office as MLA not that I'm obviously not that I'm likely to win but
02:33:42.260 just saying in in this hypothetical scenario I just need to separate the job off from the from
02:33:46.780 the show so that I'm not exploiting my job to give you interesting tidbits that really shouldn't be
02:33:52.760 posted on YouTube willy-nilly you get my point. MST3521 for $6.99 says how much you want to bet
02:34:00.480 they're signaling between a deal before september 9th well i don't want to bet with you because i
02:34:05.860 actually i actually think that you're on to something so i wouldn't bet you because i think
02:34:10.880 you and i uh i i think we agree that at least deals will be restarted between september 1st
02:34:17.780 and september 8th i think that actually is fairly likely what you said earlier so uh if we're wrong
02:34:23.680 you and i will be beaten to death ritualistically in the town square with sticks uh if we're wrong
02:34:29.320 but I think it's probably a good I think it's a good call that based on Ford backing down they're 0.90
02:34:35.340 going to be back to the table pretty quickly or Carney would have let him go off for longer if
02:34:41.840 he didn't think that it was getting in the way of stuff anyways okay so that should be good I'm
02:34:46.180 just dropping the link to my website again in case people want to sign up and you live in Calgary
02:34:49.740 Curry again it's southwest Calgary we're we're underneath Mountain View west of Buffalo which 0.99
02:34:55.900 is like the super ndp riding downtown it's like it's just skyscrapers it's very difficult to 1.00
02:35:00.420 campaign for a little north of elbow and of course east of calgary west and then a little bit you
02:35:06.160 know south east of calgary bow i don't think the boundaries are really going to change much so
02:35:12.580 it'll kind of just stay static but i have some good ideas for winning the riding back
02:35:16.300 uh but yeah so if you live in that riding let me know let me recommend me to people you know
02:35:21.140 RageOn5146 for $2
02:35:23.400 says, imagine a deal made on
02:35:25.220 9-11
02:35:25.900 I don't know, there's some thematic
02:35:29.360 quality to doing something like that
02:35:31.200 and so yeah
02:35:35.280 that will be good, so now
02:35:37.120 I shall leave you people because it's getting quite late
02:35:39.460 thank you for everyone who sent in
02:35:41.320 Super Chat money, it really does help the channel
02:35:43.300 be more sustainable, thank you for all doing
