00:00:00.000 Hey guys, it's Wyatt here to talk today about what you should absolutely never do in Canadian
00:00:05.820 politics. I really like to watch liberal content just because there's a lot of life lessons
00:00:10.700 you can take away if you're ever going to get into politics because they consistently do it
00:00:15.920 wrong. And today we're talking about a liberal MP I talked about just a few days ago,
00:00:21.540 Karina Gould, the Liberal Party's house leader. A few days ago, I talked about her embarrassing
00:00:26.360 herself because she couldn't answer a simple question about the Liberal Party's internal
00:00:31.260 morale. She ended up making it look like the Liberal Party must be shakier than ever because
00:00:35.660 she couldn't actually come up with any good reason why the Liberal Party is feeling good
00:00:39.640 these days. And then her follow-up petty attack on Polly was just so sad and limp. It just made
00:00:46.280 it end up looking like she just knows Pierre is going to win. But she's back again to not
00:00:51.300 just embarrass herself through bad attacks, but to also be annoying. And let me first state before
00:00:57.340 I get to the clip, never do this. Anything that she says in the clip, never do this. Never patronize
00:01:04.280 Canadians. Never nag Canadians because she can all day long pretend that she's talking about the
00:01:09.600 Conservatives only, just the just a hundred or so Conservative MPs currently in Parliament. But every
00:01:15.260 Canadian knows you're kind of talking about them when you start going after a party that many of them
00:01:20.980 vote for. And when you start speaking down to the leader of that party, a party leader who's
00:01:26.780 pulling at least 10 points ahead of the Liberals, depending on the poll that you look at, it just
00:01:31.720 makes you look like not only a bad loser, but just someone who just believes they're smarter than
00:01:37.040 everybody. Never a good look. But here's the clip of Karina Gould talking to the press just today.
00:01:42.800 So I'm out here to tell you that I am not going to indulge yet another one of Mr. Polyev's temper
00:01:53.540 tantrums. Last night, Mr. Polyev and his Conservative members of Parliament put 198 amendments to
00:02:02.040 an 11 page bill on the order paper. That would trigger another night of marathon voting. And
00:02:11.340 why? Because he is ideologically opposed to fighting climate change. He is hellbent on bringing American-style
00:02:22.340 extreme right-wing politics that have created chaos and dysfunction in Washington to Canada. And so
00:02:31.040 instead of entertaining his little temper tantrum, I'm going to suggest that he takes a little bit of a
00:02:38.980 time out. We're just about to move into the holidays. And I think it's a good idea for Mr. Polyev and his
00:02:46.800 Conservative members of Parliament to go home, cool down a bit, take a break, talk to Canadians,
00:02:55.500 real Canadians, and reflect on, I won't even say childish because I don't want to insult Canadian
00:03:02.700 children because quite frankly they behave better than those Conservative MPs, but to reflect on their
00:03:09.400 politics of obstruction and their irresponsible actions of this session. And so over the holidays,
00:03:17.100 I hope not only do they reflect on the very poor behavior that they have shown Canadians that they
00:03:23.900 don't respect Parliament, democratic institutions, and at the end of the day Canadians because that's who
00:03:30.000 we're here to serve and represent, but they consider changing their vote on Ukraine and that they stand
00:03:36.700 up to a mega-inspired leader who wants to be a little Trump North and actually stand up for Canadians and
00:03:45.500 people who care about freedom and democracy.
00:03:47.700 Wow. How many votes do you think Karina Gould just won the Liberals in that clip? I know it's edited a bit,
00:03:54.700 but they kind of cut out the longer, more technical answers and then get to her talking down to the
00:03:58.800 Conservatives. But like, I'm going to start off on just some technical issues with the claims that
00:04:04.400 she's even making. The idea that somehow that, oh, it's the Liberal, the Conservatives don't care about
00:04:10.100 the environment or something like that. And she's trying to turn this into shaming the Conservatives
00:04:14.700 because they don't take climate change seriously. The Conservatives were pushing for these
00:04:19.260 marathon voting sessions as a pressure point to try and force the Liberals to suspend the carbon tax for
00:04:25.760 about a three-year period or so. They're not even forcing them to repeal the carbon tax, just put a
00:04:30.460 pause on it the way that they put a pause on heater oil. Very sensible policy and tactic from the
00:04:36.520 Conservatives. Also, the Ukraine vote, the Conservatives haven't really voted against Ukraine in
00:04:43.160 any way. They voted against the carbon tax measures that were put into a free trade agreement with
00:04:48.060 Ukraine. We also already trade with Ukraine. And for the most part, we don't trade that much with
00:04:52.360 Ukraine. It's kind of a bit of a dead bill. The Liberals just want to have as many votes on Ukraine
00:04:56.760 to make it look like they're hyper supportive of Ukraine. And then they throw some language into the
00:05:00.800 bills that basically force the Conservatives not to vote for them. And then they pretend like the
00:05:05.160 Conservatives somehow hate freedom or something like that. It's ridiculous. But now I just want to get to
00:05:09.580 her tone. And I feel completely qualified to actually critique her tone and give her advice
00:05:15.920 because of the way she talks down to other people. She's giving the advice to the Conservatives.
00:05:20.480 I will give her advice. Now, first off, don't talk with a vocal fry. I want to let the Conservatives
00:05:28.200 know that they can go home and take a night off. Never talk like that. You sound arrogant. You sound
00:05:35.000 like you think you are the smartest person in the room. An incredibly unappealing sort of a personality
00:05:42.240 in any politician. And then the idea again, remember, she is referring to Canadians themselves.
00:05:48.160 She can pretend like she's talking about Conservative MPs all day long. She is talking
00:05:53.360 about Conservatives in general, because that's why she said, oh, pure poly of the Conservative MPs,
00:05:59.380 they should go try and talk to real Canadians, as if their own Conservative supporters are not real
00:06:04.320 Canadians. Real Canadians believe in all the crazy progressive values of the Liberals. They're the
00:06:09.540 people who think carbon taxes work despite the emissions going up and also crushing poorer families.
00:06:16.180 That's what dangerous, disgusting Canadians do not believe in those things. But if you're a real
00:06:22.940 Canadian, you believe in woke, hyper-progressive values. You believe in putting pure products in
00:06:28.260 men's rooms in Parliament. That's what real Canadians believe. So, Karina, never ever start treating
00:06:36.720 your opposition like their children. Because it makes voters who are currently appealed to that
00:06:42.640 option, makes them feel like you are talking down to them. Because in reality, you really are. If you
00:06:48.720 trash something that someone likes, you are indirectly trashing them. Nobody is watching Karina and
00:06:57.360 thinking, you know, she insulted the pure poly of the North, called him the Trump of the North and all
00:07:04.000 this other stuff enough that, you know what, I'm not going to vote poly up. I'm going to vote for the
00:07:08.160 guy who's been ruining the country for the past eight years. Unless you're going to come with a
00:07:12.640 policy recommendation that's going to reverse some of the pain and not just going to add to the
00:07:17.360 inflation problems while helping basically nobody, then maybe we can talk about the Liberals crawling
00:07:24.080 it back in the polls. This way of talking to Canadians and talking about your opposition
00:07:30.240 makes you just seem like, frankly, a nag. And nobody likes a nag in government. It actually
00:07:35.760 makes you seem pretty incompetent that you have, you are currently in the government,
00:07:40.320 the Liberal NDP coalition government has control over everything. And yet you are whining because
00:07:46.480 your Conservative opposition is doing their jobs too well. That's effectively what everything comes
00:07:50.800 down to. She doesn't like that the Conservatives are holding them accountable on all these votes.
00:07:55.680 So basically, she's going to act like they're a bunch of five year olds who need a juice box and
00:07:59.520 a nap. That just makes you seem like the most odd, like seem like the most patronizing person on the
00:08:05.280 planet. And even a Liberal voter, I think watching this is not going to be like, yeah, you go get
00:08:11.280 them because it's not it's not really like an energetic enough response that this is even playing well
00:08:16.880 to your base. It just kind of feels very snarky. And I don't think that snark is particularly a great
00:08:23.440 political skill. But maybe maybe I don't know anything. But I just want to go back to one of
00:08:28.400 her earlier clips I talked about a few days ago, when she was talking about the Liberal Party's
00:08:32.800 morale, because I think it was just hilarious to see her unable to actually answer any questions
00:08:38.240 in a positive affirm, affirmative way about the her own party because of the morale of the
00:08:42.720 Liberal caucus in there. Oh, my God, it's so strong. It's so strong. How so? We're all here,
00:08:49.120 right? And we know why we're here. We got elected by. She literally talks like a fourth
00:08:53.760 grade teacher in a bad way, like a bad fourth grade teacher that you remember who just did
00:08:59.040 not take the kids seriously, didn't understand their age and talk to everyone like they're in
00:09:03.440 grade one. And I still love that. I think of it all the time when the reporter says, well,
00:09:08.720 can you speak to the morale inside the Liberal Party? And she's like, oh, it's fantastic.
00:09:12.560 And then the person's like, how so? And she's just like, well, we're here. Like what? Of course you're
00:09:18.080 here. Like, as I said in my other video, is it like a sign of strength that the Liberals haven't
00:09:23.120 defected over to another country yet? Whatever. I guess they're all in one location. So it means
00:09:28.160 that they're doing fantastic. Well, that's going to be the end of this video. Just want to remind
00:09:32.640 people, I have a legal fund linked in the description of this video, why it's legal fund.
00:09:37.040 It's a give, send, go page. I'm being sued by a billionaire. I'm winning the lawsuit easily,
00:09:42.480 but he's just trying to drag it out and cost me as much money as possible over $25,000 so far.
00:09:47.200 So if you want to chip in a few dollars here or there, that really helps me out. And then I also
00:09:51.040 want to let everyone know I'm currently running for the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party
00:09:55.280 nomination. So if you live in Calgary Signal Hill, and based on the viewership I get on each video,
00:10:00.240 there must be at least one or two of you who definitely do live in the riding. So if you live
00:10:04.720 in the riding, buy a Conservative Party membership for you and your family in your household and make
00:10:09.360 sure once the actual voting date is declared that you show up and mark me number one on your ballot,
00:10:14.800 really would help me out and would help the riding out. We want a Conservative who lives here,
00:10:19.360 I live here, who's actually Conservative, I'm actually Conservative, which you think were not
00:10:23.920 two unique traits. But in safe ridings like this, you get a lot of people coming out of the woodwork
00:10:29.200 who don't live in the riding and are extremely liberal in terms of their voting records or personal
00:10:33.840 positions if they weren't formally elected officials. Anyways, other than that,
00:10:38.720 I hope everyone has a fantastic day and I'll see you in my next video.
