BC's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry rescinds the vaccine mandate on BC healthcare workers. She also rescues the public health emergency that was in effect until today, July 26th, 2024. Yes, it is the year 2024, and there was still a Public Health Emergency going on in the province of BC up until just a few minutes ago. It was just back in June that David Eby was standing strongly beside his vaccine mandates. But now, a month later, the mandates are just unneeded anymore.

00:05:57.140And then people were pointing out, well, actually, you're not even beating the retirement drop-off that a lot of people are retiring.
00:06:04.220So they're not even hiring people fast enough to replace the retirees.
00:06:07.840And you guys seem like complete morons coming out and announcing how well you are doing on health care at the same time that you just fired, I think, around 2,800, I think, even more than that in terms of health care workers, nurses, doctors, other support staff members.
00:06:23.400You can't come out and brag that, oh, we're hiring people 30% faster than we ever used to in the past two decades when you are in a massive health care deficit because you fired people.

00:06:39.940The amount of people who had a family doctor from, I think, 2014, 2013 was like 84%.
00:06:50.300No, we're not getting enough doctors to replace the amount of people who are retiring.
00:06:55.080Even a lot of the people that were kicked out of the health care system because of the mandates, I don't doubt a lot of them probably sold their homes and went to the U.S.

00:07:38.080The last Main Street poll had them tied with the B.C. conservatives, but with a massive momentum deficit.
00:07:43.840Only 44% of people are considering voting for the B.C. NDP in this election, with only 2% that are still undecided that they could maybe in theory win over.
00:07:53.540So let's be generous and say 46% of B.C. residents are considering voting for them.
00:07:58.280But even then, a lot of those people will end up voting green or united.
00:08:01.060And then with conservatives, the conservatives have 51% of people considering voting for them and 8% still undecided that they could win over.
00:08:09.800Even if we're not being generous to them, even if they don't win over a single person who to consider voting for them, they're still beating the NDP by 5%, even if I am maximally generous.
00:08:44.260David Eby is so unpopular that even his own party, even though the radicals in the background of the party, the far left people in the party wanted him to become the premier after John Horgan.

00:09:21.220The donation limits are extremely low at the same time that the BC NDP made it so that they got a bunch of their money back because they were able to achieve more than 10% of the vote in the last election.
