00:05:47.940and you know we've seen so many crazy decisions here by the conservatives i mean
00:05:52.500just what was it two days ago tracy gray former federal mp she wanted to get the position for
00:05:59.240kelona lake country cold stream she put out a post saying hey i'm hoping to get this riding
00:06:03.140collected i believe it was 500 signatures and this is a front bench experienced conservative mp
00:06:09.120she gets over apparently 2 000 emails going to the party from local constituents saying hey we want
00:06:15.900Tracy. But no, we're not going to do that, Wyatt. Instead, we're going to have the vice president
00:06:22.240of the Conservative Party of BC, who I've heard also sits on the Elections Readiness Committee
00:06:27.080that selects the candidates, basically just elect himself. And that's exactly what he did to even
00:06:32.620put himself on that vice president position. So they put the boots, they kicked Tracy right in
00:06:37.960the teeth, and it's unbelievable. So if you're a conservative in Kelowna Lake Country Coldstream,
00:06:44.440your bc united i mean bc conservative candidate is now pavneet singh who by the way was sort of
00:06:54.260deeply involved in the 2025 agm shenanigans where 100 people were busting to vote death through the
00:07:01.440board slate for team rusted as well as the crappy constitution that gives them four-year terms like
00:07:07.700really, guys, this is what you are voting for if you accept this nonsense. That's my pitch,0.86
00:07:15.040really, when it comes to voting 1BC. Voters have dignity and use your vote to actually,
00:07:22.080you know, stand for the things that you want. Anyone who's trying to push this whole,
00:07:26.480oh my goodness, you're going to split the vote if you vote for 1BC. We have people running for
00:07:32.220the conservatives like alia warbus brennan day and many other mlas who frequently in the legislature
00:07:39.620i was there they vote with the ndp in fact sometimes when the conservatives actually
00:07:45.240voted against the ndp it was because of one bc leader dallas brody gave a barn burner speech
00:07:50.700and freaked them all out and got them to switch votes we've heard that from some of the actual
00:07:55.240few reasonable conservative mlas they've told dallas we were all going to vote for that policy
00:08:01.060then your speech came out and then all they all started reversing themselves because they realized
00:08:05.180they were going to get you know destroyed if they did it but if dallas isn't in the legislature if
00:08:09.5601bc isn't in the legislature and they're stacking the deck with bc united people how do you think
00:08:15.020they're going to vote on these major issues especially when the protesters come let's say
00:08:19.260they're in government when the protesters hit the lawn of the bc legislature and they're saying we1.00
00:08:24.080don't want you to get rid of drippa we don't want to get you to get rid of soji you're not going to
00:08:28.060make any cuts to this or that thing maybe they still technically repeal drippa but they'll do
00:08:33.500the peter millibar plan oh we have our own reconciliation act or we're just going to
00:08:37.680modify soji a little bit to be friendlier yeah well and wyatt think about the fire they just
00:08:44.560set with lynn block i mean lynn block is basically the incumbent they push her out of a conservative
00:08:52.860riding and put in Caroline Elliott into a very conservative Vancouver riding. And then they put
00:09:00.880Lin Block into one of the most difficult NDP strongholds. So basically, the Conservative Party
00:09:07.300of BC just decided with that announcement, sorry, Lin Block, thanks for your time serving in the
00:09:12.840legislature. But you know what? We're done with you. We're going to put you in an impossible
00:09:16.940riding and we're going to give it to Caroline Elliott. Yeah. And Lin Block, notice how she was
00:09:22.560one of the people who never left the BC Conservative Caucus under Carrie Lynn Finley, was not part of
00:09:27.460the harassment campaign against her. Generally speaking, maybe it wouldn't be the most conservative
00:09:31.700person, but in a big tent conservative party, I would say that, you know, Lin Block's totally fine0.79
00:09:36.640to be there. And now, and we're not Puritans here. Parties can have their more liberal section,
00:09:42.980they can have their more conservative section, but the sections need to respect each other.
00:09:46.620clearly this is the cannibalization of the bc conservatives by united so lynn block's been put
00:09:52.800in north vancouver seymour away from west vancouver uh capilano she is in she went from a riding where
00:10:00.700i should think she won by more than 10 points to a riding where the conservative candidate last time
00:10:05.460sam chandola who was a good candidate really good entrepreneur a lot of people know him really
00:10:10.820hard working. He lost by 17% of the vote. And now Lynn Block's basically been set on fire
00:10:17.380so that Caroline Elliott, who's supposedly a star candidate, can make sure she doesn't lose.
00:10:23.200Like, what are we doing here, people? Yeah, 100% Caroline Elliott has been what I would0.58
00:10:28.260argue to be the more establishment candidate that they really tried during that leadership race.1.00
00:10:32.980And now they're basically guaranteeing her a seat and putting the boots to Lynn Block. So1.00
00:10:37.400quite something to see there. And then the other one, I mean, it was Alex Zoltan with the Western
00:10:41.980Standard who came out and said, Rianne Gasper has been given the candidacy for the Abbotsford
00:10:48.240mission, which you'll remember just had the by-election for Carrie Lynn Finley. And then he
00:10:52.580had to backtrack and make a correction and say, oh, actually the party hasn't guaranteed Rianne0.93
00:10:58.040this position yet. Instead, Rianne is trying to maybe do some form of a nomination or show some1.00
00:11:03.700public support so that she'll get it. But Rianne might be in hot water here because she was going1.00
00:11:09.080to be getting the chief of staff position for Carrie Lynn Finley. She gave up her seat for1.00
00:11:13.000Carrie Lynn, right? Yeah. And Carrie Lynn Finley, she was even promising Rianne the spot back that1.00
00:11:18.660I'm going to run here. They'll try and find a different riding. So Rianne's effectively trying1.00
00:11:22.860to run the same play that Tracy Gray tried to run in Kelowna Lake Country Coldstream. Announce that0.95
00:11:28.160I want the nomination. I will work hard. I'll prove people like me, but they don't want anyone
00:11:33.020apparently who has any federal affiliation with the federal conservatives and pure poly of because
00:11:38.360a little bit this is a wedge against pure poly of what's going on it's the kind of the cory tonight
00:11:43.020uh nick cuvalis kind of campaign consultant bro uh kind of trojan horse against the poly of
00:11:50.080conservatives because they want to set up very liberal conservative parties provincially all
00:11:55.120around the country who will back replacement for pure poly of and so and what again if you go
00:12:01.420riding to riding you it just keeps happening megan knight south surrey bc conservative candidate
00:12:07.720former she is a she tried to seek the bc liberal nomination in 2020 actually against trevor
00:12:13.640halford and they rigged it against her uh she even called them out at the time saying she was sick to
00:12:18.280her stomach about all the backroom games that were going on she was actually the mayor of white rock
00:12:23.220and she's actually dropped her mayoral candidacy to accept the bc conservative nomination in south
00:12:29.260Surrey, again, if you're running for the B.C. Liberals past, I would say, 2017, maybe 2017 is still defensible.
00:12:37.9402020 with Andrew Wilkinson and 24 with Falcon when the B.C. United Party was already going down in flames, you are a capital L liberal.
00:12:47.560B.C. Liberals in 2020 said nothing about COVID, said nothing about lockdowns.
00:12:51.360That was the year they purged the social conservatives like Laurie Throness.0.94
00:12:54.860you're not a conservative and so we need to really push back on this dumb lie well the bc0.76
00:13:00.500liberals were always the center-right option in the province it's like yeah no they had some0.93
00:13:04.960center-right people you know they had you know lori thrones and they had mike de young and they
00:13:10.100had some other people who you could say were on the center-right but you know other than a few
00:13:14.440token candidates it was still a liberal party and sorry but many of your even conservative mlas in
00:13:21.360the Conservative Party, it's going to become like the BC Liberals again. They'll say something that
00:13:25.020you agree with every once in a while, and then they'll be told to sit down and shut up again.
00:13:29.500Here's another one we have right here for Vancouver Langara. And I'm even going to say up
00:13:34.020front, I don't mind Jamie Stein as a guy. I can get along with him. He's just not a Conservative.
00:13:39.120And look, he ran for United in 2024. Yeah, it's unbelievable, Wyatt. You know,
00:13:45.360at this point, the Conservative Party of BC seems to just want people to believe that because the
00:13:50.300party says conservative that they are a conservative party. Yet they're basically pushing out all the
00:13:55.840actual conservative candidates. And not only candidates, they're also getting rid of some
00:14:00.380really strong staffers, some strong conservative staffers. There are people right now in the
00:14:04.660background who have been pushed out from the legislature, who have been denied their severance
00:14:10.160pay, and are now seeking legal recourse. I mean, it just keeps going and going. And you know, the
00:14:15.400other thing I was just thinking about with your comments there, Wyatt, Caroline Elliott is the
00:14:18.960former vice president of the bc liberal party and she was a part of the rebrand from liberal to bc
00:14:24.320united and she took a whole pile of backlash for her comments against lori thrones and his
00:14:29.660conservative views which she claimed were abhorrent and then she also pushed for stricter0.99
00:14:34.260mandates like it's unbelievable this is not vaccine mandates on children in schools that
00:14:38.980you cannot go to school unless your child gets vaccinated with something that was not proven to
00:14:44.420be needed for a child or beneficial and in any way. Because I always take the much more moderate
00:14:50.400stance when it comes to vaccine mandates and lockdowns and stuff like that in the sense that
00:14:54.920I think they were all bad, but I always explain it in a more moderate way. You didn't have the
00:14:59.440proof that children needed this. There was no defense against spread. There was no chance that
00:15:04.920they were really dying in any number at all. And you were still going to push the vaccine on them
00:15:11.300that had a higher injury potential than they had a higher potential of even getting COVID.
00:15:17.200Yeah, it's unbelievable. But those mandates weren't strict enough for Caroline Elliott.1.00
00:15:20.800She wanted them to be more restrictive for children. So, you know, end of the day, this is0.64
00:15:24.920not a conservative party. Its leadership on the party side is nowhere near conservative. They're
00:15:30.060essentially electing themselves. You know, even Sasha Peters, who's actually I've heard quite a
00:15:34.240good person. Sasha Peters is on the management committee. He's getting a riding. Pavneet Singh
00:15:38.120management committee he's getting a riding like it's basically if you're a part of that core
00:15:42.740leadership team you're going to be given a riding they're going to push out conservatives they're
00:15:46.840firing the conservative staff and this is why you know we've had lots of discussions off camera
00:15:51.100about the strategy for 1bc when you see a 1bc candidate on your ballot box it's because that's
00:15:59.000the only conservative option it's the only option for a candidate who's really going to go to bat
00:16:04.140for their candidates. And at this point with everything we've seen playing out federally
00:16:08.140with all the mass floor crossing, it's time for people when they're voting to start considering
00:16:13.400the individual, the person they're voting for. When you do everything just for the party jersey
00:16:18.740or the logo, you end up in a situation where you elect people who don't actually hold the
00:16:24.020principles or values displayed in the platform like conservatism. And then they bait and switch
00:16:29.320their constituents after the fact. Case end point in BC, Brennan Day signing the Comox Treaty,
00:16:36.060right? His own writing. So it's crucial that when people are voting, that they really consider who
00:16:41.560is this person? What are their values? Are they just playing a game so that what they can vote
00:16:47.000with the NDP or cross the floor to the NDP after the fact? How does that help you? How does that
00:16:51.440help you? We have Amelia Bolfi in the NDP right now. She was elected as a BC conservative MLA1.00
00:16:56.560in Penticton Summerlands. So you're going to trust the new conservative candidate in Penticton
00:17:02.020Summerlands that they're not going to screw you this time. All these people who joined Centre BC,
00:17:06.300don't worry, they're never going to cross again if the Conservative Party does actually start
00:17:10.160acting Conservative. Don't worry, it was just about Carrie Lynn, guys. It was just about her.
00:17:16.000How do people think that the Ontario PCs have perma-screwed the Conservative movement
00:17:21.520provincially in that province sorry guys it wasn't because somebody made some like some dramatic
00:17:27.500mistake someone signed a document saying that we're going to stop being conservative it's because you
00:17:31.860kept going along with the party every time they said just vote for us one more time and don't
00:17:38.360worry we're gonna we're gonna eventually handle soji we're gonna eventually cut tax we're gonna
00:17:42.500eventually do all this stuff in ontario since doug ford became premier taxes have gone up soji has
00:17:48.740not been gotten rid of government spending was worse than ever before lots of things have not
00:17:54.580improved in any way he is basically fat trudeau in ontario and look what we have now in british
00:18:00.660columbia today interim bc conservative leader delorne dirksen was spotted alongside former bc
00:18:05.600liberal premier christy clark at bc lions football game and some people are saying well it's not
00:18:10.620illegal for him to go and hang out with christy clark if i ever became the federal conservative
00:18:16.020Party leader, throw me in a lake if I start hanging out with Aaron O'Toole, Jason Kenney,
00:18:21.100and like Allison Redford right away. You know, that feels a little bit of an ideological signal
00:18:26.420that you get along with this person. Christy Clark endorsed the NDP last election.
00:18:32.400Yeah, Wyatt, I mean, it's unbelievable. Sometimes it feels like, you know, as a voter,
00:18:37.080and especially as a member of the BC Conservative Party, it sometimes feels like we're only given
00:18:41.840the illusion of choice. We're given this illusion of choice. You know, the members vote in a
00:18:47.280conservative leader who puts forward a very strong platform, including a Western coalition.
00:18:52.820Carrie Lynn Finley's platform saying that she wanted to align British Columbia, Alberta,
00:18:56.600and Saskatchewan to start pushing back on some of these draconian federal overreaches on things
00:19:01.660like Bill C9 and the infringement on our freedom of religion or the federal gun grab buyback.
00:19:06.880You kind of wonder if there was an actual opportunity for B.C. really here to be a bloc and to start pushing back some of these federal mandates, would the federal government ever interfere?
00:19:16.720And now what do we have, Wyatt? The members voted for a conservative. That doesn't matter.
00:19:21.200They put in a liberal leader. They're putting forward a liberal platform that is far more aligned with those federal positions.
00:19:27.120And if you're in the Fraser Valley, the interior, north or south, or up island, outside of the South Island, like, what are you doing voting Conservative?
00:19:38.380These people literally do not care about you to the point that you voted in the leader of the Conservative Party.
00:19:44.740Carrie Lynn Finley did have support in places like Vancouver and Victoria, no doubt, but those were not the places that she won.
00:19:50.760She won traditional conservative territory and the basically the province of Vancouver, as I call it now, the province of Vancouver decided that no, no, no, no, those voters don't count. They're not real province of Vancouver residents. There are just some random territories that are attached to Vancouver. That is genuinely what they think about you. And you think that you're going to get your local MLA to speak up. They're not going to do anything for you.
00:20:15.280that your MLA is just going to sit in the back and say nothing because that's the most they can
00:20:20.340do to protect their job and there are some very good conservative people in that party still
00:20:24.200there's a handful of MLAs who actually care but at the end of the day what are these people going
00:20:30.400to do other than defend their jobs because they're scared of losing the MLA gig more than they are
00:20:36.120scared of losing the conservative movement yeah absolutely you know at the end of the day when I
00:20:41.120talked about how we need to start voting for individuals at some point you have to stop
00:20:45.100playing the game vote for the brand vote for the brand vote for the brand vote for the brand this
00:20:49.040is how we keep you know whatever out or whatever position at the end of the day we need to start
00:20:53.480voting for the individuals and if we want real change you mentioned something so crucial at the
00:20:57.800beginning of this Wyatt if we're ever going to put forward real positions policies bills legislation
00:21:04.600before before the legislature if we're ever going to be doing anything that requires real change
00:21:09.100We need people with a backbone. We need people with some conviction, because if they think that repealing SOGI and dealing with the BCTF isn't going to cause an absolute uproar of protest, well, how are you going to deal with that?
00:21:21.520Do you have the confidence that the B.C. liberal apparatus that literally brought in SOGI is now going to be the ones to deal with it?
00:21:28.460Of course not. Like, it's time to stop playing the classical game and start voting for real change.
00:21:34.820Absolutely. And even if, and I always put up this scenario, bare minimum, even if 1BC doesn't even
00:21:40.780win a seat, but we get a significant portion of the vote, there is, and it's not about the money,
00:21:45.640but it's about the political momentum. We would get a per vote subsidy for every single vote we
00:21:51.140get. And that means that even if we win no seats, but we are absolutely pursuing trying to win
00:21:56.320seats, even if we won nothing, that means that in the next by-election or the next general election,
00:22:02.160we will have a big war chest to be able to start absolutely dominating the interior,
00:22:07.760the Fraser Valley, and Up Island. The only advantage the Conservatives have is that nobody
00:22:12.080noticed the crime that they committed. Because that's what people are basically saying. Nobody
00:22:15.620noticed all the stuff with Carrie Lynn Finley. You think the average voter cares? It's like,0.99
00:22:19.960well, that's just like saying that nobody cares. Oh, I got away with it, so who cares?
00:22:23.600They didn't really get away with it, though, because so many of their best volunteers,
00:22:26.700board members, donors noticed, and they're not coming back again. If your actual argument is
00:22:32.640that corruption doesn't matter because most people don't follow politics that closely,
00:22:36.560well, what are we even doing by voting at this point? And that's why you have to vote 1BC,
00:22:41.840even if it does not win a seat. The whole point is that we need to start building a bulwark
00:22:48.200against corruption. The Reform Party of Canada in 1988 got 2% of the vote. By 1993, they owned
00:22:55.840western canada pretty much at least outside of the lower mainland and south island when it comes
00:23:00.780to british columbia that's what we need to be at least doing the bc conservative party has no leg
00:23:07.180to stand on saying that we are splitting their vote what were they doing running candidates in
00:23:10.9602013 2017 2020 and 2024 early on bc united was still more popular were they not doing the wrong
00:23:18.340thing at some point the ideology matters because they can't say oh you're hurting us well the bc
00:23:24.860Conservative Party's entire electoral history since they didn't have an MP between 72 and 24
00:23:29.300was, quote unquote, splitting the vote. But what you really need to be doing was we need to
00:23:33.740balance politics in this province because everything keeps leaning more and more left.
00:23:38.880Yeah, 100%. And look, if we end up going into a minority government, which is, I think,
00:23:43.620fairly likely here, the balance of power can really be held by 1BC. We can be the swing vote
00:23:49.200that holds the Conservatives truly accountable. And you know, there's an old saying, Wyatt,
00:23:52.340the best time to plant an oak tree was 10 years ago. The second best time to plant an oak tree
00:23:57.540is today. So it's about creating a movement. It's about building towards the future
00:24:01.380and bringing in real change. Absolutely. Thank you for coming on, Anthony. I just want to
00:24:06.100encourage everyone who is watching today, check out the 1BC link pinned at the top of the top
00:24:12.200of the comments below. Donate if you can, sign up to volunteer. You can also still sign up to be a
00:24:18.140candidate we're reaching out to tons of people we already have more than 20 people who have had the
00:24:22.780candidate packages sent out to them by the end of the two at the end of today we want 35 to 40 people
00:24:28.500with the package and with that sort of pace we actually will probably be able to cover the vast
00:24:33.000majority of the province leaving probably a few ridings here and there without a 1bc candidate
00:24:38.420because the conservative genuinely i would say is a decent person and we're trying to make a point
00:24:44.360that this is not about vindictive, that this is not like a revenge play, this is not vindictive.
00:24:50.1201BC is here to stand for conservatism, and unless we're on the ballot in many of these
00:24:54.340ridings, there is no conservative in that race. Anyways, but with all that being said,
00:24:58.580thank you guys for watching, you know, like, share, subscribe, and I'll see you all later.
