In the wake of the death of Alexei Navalny in Russia, many have been quick to point the finger at the far-left for his death. But is there any truth behind these accusations? Or is there something more sinister going on?
00:00:00.000One of the best real-life examples of putting lipstick on a pig, other than literally just putting lipstick on a pig, has to be giving media subsidies to the Canadian legacy media.
00:00:09.480These are all low-quality, trashy journalists occupying the corpses of once-respected media outlets 30 years ago, and they're just propped up by the fact that we all have to give them money every year, whether it's the CBC, Toronto Star, Bell Media, all these other outlets or conglomerates get massive amounts of money from taxpayers.
00:00:29.060And it helps them hide the fact that they're very left-wing partisan journalists who just lie a lot.
00:00:35.260They have nice TV sets, they all have the branding from a well-respected paper 40 years ago that they are now occupying, and they get to pretend as if just the things that they say have automatic credibility because I write for the Toronto Star, I'm a news presenter for the CBC, I do work for Bell Media.
00:00:54.720And I have three examples today of just how shamelessly they'll just lie and make up stuff in order to sort of move people towards the narrative that they want them to believe.

00:01:08.680And he was commenting back to Norman Spencer, who I think was kind of making fun of Trump for basically not even barely mentioning Navalny in his post about Navalny's death and mostly talking about himself.

00:01:21.140But D'Adder Kanda said, pure Polyev said nothing, basically saying pure Polyev ignored Alexei Navalny's murder in Russia.
00:01:28.760And Norman Spencer got back to him and said, that's not true.
00:01:31.640Pure Polyev issued a statement almost immediately, which is true.
00:01:34.720Polyev's team basically put out a statement as soon as it was daylight in Canada.
00:01:39.160And D'Adder Kanda responds to Norman Spencer by saying, it was a big nothing burger and you know it.
00:01:45.020To which I said, you lied and you don't even care when caught.
00:01:48.300And I think that is a perfect example of how so many in the legacy media in Canada operate.
00:01:53.940They will push something that they know is false.
00:01:55.880They'll go up to Polyev and say, you're dog whistling to the far right.
00:01:58.380Or you're taking a page out of Trump's playbook.
00:02:00.460Or you're trying to push conspiracy theories.
00:02:03.200And when confronted with their stupid questions saying, do you have anything to actually substantiate that?
00:02:39.200He made a statement that any other world leader or major political figure put out, basically condemning Russia for Alexei Navalny's murder.
00:03:09.840Because Bruce Arthur, in his own mind, is convinced, well, his cartoonish version of Polyev, he's concocted in his mind, wouldn't have put out a statement.

00:03:21.120And as stupid as that sounds, that is how so many in the mainstream media, so many left-wing academics actually think.

00:03:34.620If they accuse Polyev of not doing something or dog whistling to the far right because they believe in their cartoonified minds that that's what a Polyev would do or you would do some terrible thing they accuse you of, they just think it's true.

00:05:12.540And the conservatives keep using it and acting surprised at the rise of anti-Semitism.
00:05:16.680Maybe the rise of anti-Semitism is from the liberals, MDP, and the mainstream media giving outsized credibility to anti-Semitic pro-Hamas groups who have been attacking Jewish people in Canada, blocking roads in their neighborhoods, and even climbing over the Jewish hospital in Toronto.
00:05:36.400But because Dale Smith just believes that conservatives are nasty, evil people, if he just says, oh, saying WF globalists is anti-Semitic, that guy truly believes that.

00:05:52.940And at the same time that they know that they're lying because they just said something without having any information to back it up, they'll, at the same moment, believe it immediately.
