In this episode, I talk about how Canada's criminal justice system has become more and more ridiculous by the day, and why it's time to just hand over your keys to the criminal, and let them do their job.

00:00:00.000 As we have come to expect, Canada's institutions have only become more and more pathetic over time, 0.57
00:00:05.700 with arguably the most damage being dealt against Canada's criminal justice system.
00:00:10.260 This being done both by the federal liberal government under Prime Minister Justin Trudeau,
00:00:15.080 which keeps passing legislation to lower penalties for violent crimes as well as property crimes,
00:00:20.940 and enforcing things like same-day automatic release,
00:00:24.140 where it doesn't matter what you do and how many crimes you've committed before,
00:00:27.380 the standard is to let people out of prison unless prosecutors want to bend over backwards,
00:00:32.640 proving that an obvious repeat offender was going to repeat his offense if he's let out.
00:00:37.740 But a lot of other stuff has been done on our local levels,
00:00:41.200 from cities like Vancouver decriminalizing drugs and also the different safe supply programs,
00:00:46.820 and then we had just a couple months ago Montreal police coming out and shaming people
00:00:51.680 for posting videos of porch pirates snatching Amazon packages off of people's doorsteps.
00:00:57.380 They saw that as somehow being a violation of the privacy of the person stealing your stuff,
00:01:03.540 because we technically haven't convicted them yet of the crime of stealing something right off your doorstep.
00:01:08.740 As if you, the person who had their object stolen, doesn't know that that person is a perpetrator.
00:01:15.320 The police are pretending like, well, maybe they had a good reason to steal your property.
00:01:19.700 We don't know that they're not the victim yet.
00:01:21.600 And this is just how crazy Canada's criminal justice system has gotten.
00:01:26.000 And now today, I have a video clip from City News where the Toronto police tell people
00:01:31.960 to make it easier to steal their cars to prevent violence from occurring.
00:01:36.820 Basically, just give in to the criminals.
00:01:39.200 Make their jobs easier.
00:01:40.840 Because don't you know, worse things could happen if you don't give in to the criminal.
00:01:45.240 I'll play this. It's quite insane.
00:01:46.900 For us through our community partners.
00:01:50.220 There's also updated advice for all vehicle owners.
00:01:53.640 A message echoed by Toronto police speaking at an Etobicoke safety meeting last month.
00:01:58.160 Constable Marco Ricciardi had a new message for vehicle owners who keep their fobs in Faraday pouches.
00:02:04.500 To prevent the possibility of being attacked in your home, leave your fobs at your front door.
00:02:10.020 Because they're breaking into your home to steal your car.
00:02:12.720 They don't want anything else.
00:02:13.680 A lot of them that they're arresting have guns on them.
00:02:16.680 And they're not toy guns.
00:02:17.640 They're real guns.
00:02:18.700 They're loaded.
00:02:19.800 That's why Galinsky says they will be installing the doorstops and...
00:02:23.680 Yeah, I agree with them installing these doorstops.
00:02:26.600 They go on about it.
00:02:27.460 It makes it harder for people to, like, kick in your doors. 0.99
00:02:29.800 But how pathetic is that? 0.93
00:02:31.400 That our criminal justice system, the police constables, are coming out and basically just saying, 0.97
00:02:35.960 yeah, just give your key fobs to the criminal.
00:02:39.920 Maybe just take it out of the Faraday pouch so they can just boost your car
00:02:42.740 without having to steal the key.
00:02:44.940 Like, in Faraday pouches, if you don't know, there's those things that you put your key fobs in
00:02:48.460 or other devices so that people can't steal the signal.
00:02:51.080 Because some criminals will break into the car and they'll have signal boosters.
00:02:54.020 So even though your key fob to start the car is in the house somewhere,
00:02:57.740 they are able to still grab that signal to start the car, to drive it away and, you know,
00:03:02.880 strip it for parts and whatnot.
00:03:04.280 I just hate the fact that now police, because in a certain sense, they're just not allowed 0.94
00:03:10.060 to do their jobs, both by the federal liberal government as well as pathetic local officials 0.99
00:03:14.820 who, let's just be clear, are frankly communists. 0.92
00:03:18.140 That's why these people don't care that you're having your car stolen.
00:03:21.200 Because, well, haven't you thought of the criminal?
00:03:23.460 They're financially deprived.
00:03:25.000 And that's why in organized gangs, they're stealing your property from you. 0.98
00:03:28.960 I hate this crap that people go on about, well, it's just property. 0.97
00:03:32.080 Don't fight for your property. 0.99
00:03:33.860 No one should get hurt over property.
00:03:36.660 Criminals should get hurt if they try and steal your property.
00:03:39.540 But in Canada, you will get a same-day automatic release if you don't steal over like $10,000
00:03:44.700 in one instance.
00:03:46.420 So we have these gangs of people who have probably been arrested before and then released the
00:03:50.740 exact same day running around and stealing people's cars.
00:03:53.860 And in response to this, the local governments and the federal government are not trying to
00:03:57.880 increase funding to police.
00:03:59.860 Have more police patrols around, try and hold people in prison longer, you know, actually
00:04:04.680 increasing punishments in line with the propensity that people are actually committing offenses.
00:04:10.160 No, we're telling people, well, you don't get yourself hurt.
00:04:13.800 Just put your key fob right at the front door.
00:04:16.260 Put a little note on it and maybe package some cookies and a hot chocolate right next to it
00:04:20.500 too because that will make the criminal feel better.
00:04:23.240 This is why, and I know a lot of people wouldn't want to hear it in Canada because it is considered
00:04:28.260 a very American thing to say, this is why more people should be able to own guns.
00:04:32.740 I feel like criminals should be terrified to go into your house to grab your keys.
00:04:38.020 And the reason that a lot of these people are carrying weapons on them is because they
00:04:41.020 don't think that the police are going to actually arrest them.
00:04:43.860 That's why they're carrying around handguns.
00:04:45.660 Because in Bill C-5, the liberals lowered penalties for carrying illegal handguns on you. 0.99
00:04:51.820 I wish more law-abiding citizens would have guns on them so that these scumbags wouldn't 0.99
00:04:56.320 come into people's homes. 0.99
00:04:57.640 But no, that's cruel.
00:04:59.520 That's not treating all criminals like Aladdin.
00:05:02.000 Like, I always like using that term.
00:05:03.480 It's from a YouTube I really like.
00:05:05.200 I suggest you all subscribe to Actual Justice Warrior.
00:05:08.440 That the left sees all criminals as Aladdin.
00:05:11.920 That they're not stealing your property. 1.00
00:05:14.000 They're not beating people up because they are scumbag criminals who want your stuff for 1.00
00:05:19.120 free because they don't want to go and earn it themselves because they're horrible people. 1.00
00:05:22.580 They're actually just all Aladdin.
00:05:24.420 They need to steal your Kia because they need to feed it to their hungry family.
00:05:28.640 They're stealing televisions because they need to feed it to their hungry family.
00:05:31.760 They're knocking over liquor stores because, don't you know, poverty is a big issue. 0.96
00:05:36.820 I did my master's degree report on crime in the city of Toronto.
00:05:40.880 There are neighborhoods that have higher levels of poverty or even lower median incomes than
00:05:46.940 other neighborhoods, and they have no crime.
00:05:48.860 It's because they have social values.
00:05:50.400 It's because they have two-parent households.
00:05:52.380 It's because they have a high rate of education. 0.98
00:05:55.160 Other places where there's a lot more scumbags tend to have very weak families and they have 0.98
00:06:00.220 very low education levels. 0.97
00:06:01.760 That's what we should be focusing on, arresting criminals, holding them in prison, and trying
00:06:06.460 to root out the bad social values in certain neighborhoods that are leading people to go
00:06:10.820 around stealing people's cars and then blaming it on society when they're caught, as if it's
00:06:15.480 somehow my fault for not having given them a car in the first place.
00:06:18.960 Anyways, rant over.
00:06:21.900 I'm going to wrap this up.
00:06:22.980 But like I always do in these videos, I just quickly want to plug the fact that I, Wyatt
00:06:27.800 Claypool, I'm running for the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.
00:06:31.480 If you live on the west side of Calgary, check if you live in the riding.
00:06:34.780 These are what the new riding boundaries are going to look like after April.
00:06:38.140 So if you live in this area, buy a Conservative Party federal membership and check out my website
00:06:42.220 in the description below.
00:06:43.480 It's WyattClaypool.com.
00:06:45.160 Or you can also donate to mine and the National Telegraph's legal fund.
00:06:50.300 We have this ridiculous billionaire developer trying to sue us over nonsense defamation.
00:06:55.340 We literally had a guest writer just simply mention him in an article about Aaron O'Toole
00:06:59.240 donors and referenced a Globe and Mail article written about him, a long investigative piece
00:07:03.660 written about him.
00:07:04.300 We said basically nothing new about this guy other than the fact that he was maxing out
00:07:08.220 a donation to Aaron O'Toole's leadership campaign in 2020.
00:07:11.780 And so supposedly we defamed him for quoting reporting that had been about out about him
00:07:16.700 for a year and a half.
00:07:17.760 And evidently he never sued the Globe and Mail for reporting all this stuff about him.
00:07:21.520 But he's going to try and sue me because I'm 21 at the time that the lawsuit started.
00:07:25.820 And maybe he can intimidate me into giving him a nonsense apology so he can pretend everything
00:07:31.220 ever bad said about him is just defamatory lies, even though he's not going after Robert
00:07:36.500 Feith and Stephen Chase for having written the original report on him, showing him that
00:07:40.780 he actually used to serve on CCP boards back in China and all this stuff, because, you
00:07:45.540 know, that's defamatory, that's racist. 0.59
00:07:47.580 You literally allege that we are racist in our libel notice.
00:07:50.560 And then he quickly backed off of that because our co-editor at the time was Filipino and answered
00:07:56.000 them back and they got all awkward that they're now accusing us of racism.
00:07:59.740 Anyways, rant over also about my lawsuits, whatever.
00:08:03.220 But if you can contribute anything, it really helps us take the financial burden off of us.
00:08:07.780 We paid more than $26,000 into defending ourselves.
00:08:11.240 And obviously, if we had more money on us, we could, one, shoulder that burden better and
00:08:15.400 invest more into the National Telegraph.
00:08:17.580 Anyways, see you guys later.
