00:00:00.000Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here, and welcome back to the National Telegraph YouTube channel.
00:00:05.840I do not understand the psychology of Prime Minister Mark Carney,
00:00:10.440because throughout this entire Gordie Howe bridge deal fiasco,
00:00:15.060we all knew he was lying, and he just kept lying about it,1.00
00:00:19.480despite the fact that he was inevitably going to get nailed on this issue and look like a complete jerk.0.99
00:00:26.300Now, that day has come when at a press conference with the premiers of Canada,0.98
00:00:31.140a reporter went after him hard for lying about what the Gordie Howe Bridge deal said.
00:00:37.240He said that it was profit sharing and the Americans wouldn't even get any money for years,
00:00:41.460and then the actual text of the deal came out proving that it was a revenue split
00:00:46.600after some very minor maintenance costs that Canada got to maintain the bridge.
00:00:51.420Check out this three-minute back and forth between Carney and a reporter at this news conference.
00:00:57.060Drew, CTV News, for the Prime Minister, you told CTV News explicitly on July 12 that the splitting of profits or net revenue with the U.S. from the Gordie Howe Bridge would only happen after accounting for the debt of the bridge, but that's not what the text of the New Deal says.
00:01:14.580So, was that a lie, and were you downplaying your concessions to Trump?
00:01:18.900He's such a child. He did lie. And he's still there making faces at a reporter from CTV News, which is not exactly a conservative outlet. I would say that CTV News is even to the left of CBC most of the time. And he's still, you know, rolling his eyes and making faces when he's being confronted about lying.
00:01:39.300this is what i mean when i say i don't understand the psychology of this man
00:01:43.020this day was always going to come and he's acting like you're creating a problem for him
00:01:48.580by not going along with the most obvious lie on the planet he basically said that the color red
00:01:54.580was the color blue and then it was revealed that in fact the color blue is the color blue
00:01:59.460and he's mad at you for pointing it out to him sure accounting for the debt of the bridge but
00:02:04.520that's not what the text of the new deal says so look look at this first face he makes right here
00:02:11.700it's it's pretty pretty great this does need to be part of the thumbnail for this video here
00:02:16.840and then he moves on to this one were you downplay look at that one not not a happy camper being
00:02:23.900asked about the whether or not he told the truth saying your concessions to trump
00:02:29.260Thank you for the question. First, let's be clear about what the deal is and isn't with respect to the bridge. And the first thing is, this is a good deal. This is a good deal for Canadian businesses, workers. It's a good deal for the future of our commerce with them.
00:02:51.420So to put it in context, there is $300 billion a year of trade on the land link between Michigan and Ontario.
00:03:05.460And Premier Ford knows every dime of that trade.
00:03:21.920As you know, from previous press conferences, when he's asked an uncomfortable question, he's buying time, saying nothing.
00:03:29.840But I just want to quickly rewind to the beginning of his answer.
00:03:33.080He said, well, the first thing we have to know, he's telling all the default liberals out there to stay on team liberal, because don't worry, I'm telling you this is a good deal.
00:03:42.600Like, OK, why do you lie about it then?
00:03:46.380I don't lie when good things happen and pretend something different happened. Usually, if something
00:03:52.720good happened, like I had, you know, signed a fantastic deal with the United States, I'd be
00:03:58.580going around ballyhooing it and talking about how fantastic this deal is. And I got, you know,
00:04:05.600I got some concessions out of the Americans, and this is going to create massive amounts of
00:04:09.860investment in Canada. But he didn't do that, because that's not what this deal is. He's
00:04:14.680basically acting as if he created the bridge by signing this deal. It's like, no, the bridge
00:04:20.020existed already. It was, in fact, pushed forward by Stephen Harper, you know, a former conservative
00:04:26.060prime minister. And what the original deal was supposed to be was 100% of revenues for the
00:04:31.880Canadian government. That was the original deal. And now we're splitting 50-50 net revenues after
00:04:37.240some maintenance costs with the Americans. Doesn't seem great. Maybe he's saying, well, we went from
00:04:42.360great to being a good deal so remember it's still a good deal it's like okay why did you lie that's
00:04:49.240always going to be the elephant of the room you can't say well you know really you should be
00:04:53.160congratulating me for getting this thing signed you know the thing i was denying that the deal was
00:04:58.020secondly the underlying agreement between the crates and importantly and it's an absolute you
00:05:03.380know it's an engineering marvel and it's a testament to the workers who created it so
00:05:06.660that secondly the underlying agreement between canada and michigan remains in place that's the
00:05:14.640underlying full text weighty agreement i'm i'm illustrating the you know the thickness of uh
00:05:21.280of that agreement yes we understand it's a thick agreement there's a lot of stipulations and clauses
00:05:26.420in it problem is you lied again like we're gonna keep just saying the lie word because it's very
00:05:32.420relevant here. I don't care that 95% of the text commas and periods are still the same. I care
00:05:40.020about that significant portion, even if it's only one page of a thousand page agreement. That one
00:05:46.040page is significant where we went from getting 100% of the net revenues to 50% of the net revenues.
00:05:55.480That is what some people would call significant, even if it's only one page. But he's being such
00:06:01.900weasel and basically acting like, well, you know, the vast majority, 99.9% of the text is the same.
00:06:08.380I'm like, well, I think the significant part is the 100% number was edited to be 50% for Canada
00:06:17.420and 50% for the United States. That's the problem here. The public domain. Under that agreement,
00:06:24.580there is no splitting of tolls under that agreement, which is what I was referring to,
00:06:30.540perhaps imperfectly, but there's no splitting of tolls under that agreement until all of the debt
00:06:36.020is repaid, debt from Canada. For reference, and it depends on how much traffic and the various
00:06:43.580sensitivities, but for reference, that's about 50 years. It takes about 50 years for that to
00:06:49.760kick in. In parallel with this, there is an agreement in principle, which was published
00:06:56.620earlier this week between uh canada and the united states and under that agreement there is a sharing
00:07:04.140of net revenues after operating expenses various other expenses not including debt repayment that's
00:07:10.460i should have been clearer that's referred to in the michigan agreement with respect to tolls but
00:07:15.260that is no no he's acting like i was i was just going over so much complicated details and that's
00:07:23.020That's why I maybe wasn't clear enough.
00:07:25.540Guys, he was crystal clear because he was marketing that he didn't make big concessions
00:07:30.160because, hey, they're only going to get a 50-50 split after operating costs,
00:07:35.700after we pay for operating costs, maintenance,
00:07:40.600we pay off some of the principle of construction, we pay off the interest.
00:07:45.420Then if there's like five bucks left over, they can have $2.50.
00:07:49.200That's what he was portraying to the Canadian people,
00:07:51.620Which is why that is what the media was running with for over a week.
00:07:56.880I don't think Mark Carney is incapable of reading.
00:08:00.060He and his team could have read what the media was printing and said,
00:08:03.000oh, they're getting it wrong. That's not actually what we meant.
00:08:06.180Let's go send in a correction so they understand. Let's post a statement.
00:08:09.880No, they didn't do that because they were trying to mislead people.
00:08:49.060in that time period, and the snow removal is an absolute rounding error when it comes to what
00:08:54.380the tolls would be used to pay for. The Americans are coming out very good on this deal,
00:09:01.080and that is why Mark Carney was avoiding the inevitable. I don't know why he was trying to
00:09:05.920avoid the inevitable, because he just looks stupider by trying to lie about what was in the0.97
00:09:09.660deal, but he was avoiding it because he was embarrassed by what ended up happening. And it0.96
00:09:14.780really does demonstrate to us, do we want this man negotiating a larger trade deal between Canada
00:09:20.740and the United States? Well, it doesn't really even matter because he's not even attempting to
00:09:25.260do it, which we will be getting to later in this video, when he effectively admits that he's no
00:09:30.100longer trying to pursue a trade agreement. And instead, he's trying to create a east to west
00:09:34.600trade, you know, agreement between all the provinces or whatever. Apparently, we can
00:09:39.120we can replace our biggest trade partner by just sending, you know, more goods to Brandon,
00:09:44.600Manitoba from Alberta or whatever. And I guess PEI is going to try and send more potatoes
00:09:49.280over to British Columbia. You know, I guess the Yukon potato people won't be too happy about that
00:09:54.900one. Well, let's finish up this clip and then get to some of the others. Under the parallel
00:09:58.820agreement. But the sharing of proceeds with the United States goes into economic development that
00:10:06.400would support traffic ultimately on the bridge so there's an alignment of incense uh the combination
00:10:14.640of that agreement and the sharing under that that's like splitting revenues on an asset you
00:10:20.240fully paid for like a rental house the example that peer poly have used with somebody that
00:10:25.120doesn't actually own the rental house uh and then you're then you're trying to declare it as a
00:10:31.120victory because well maybe someone will use that split uh to you know for some beautification of
00:10:37.280the neighborhood because they also own a property and maybe they'll put some flower beds in it will
00:10:41.520make everything look better it's like the the actual impact of that economic development fund
00:10:47.440on canada is going to be minute it's mostly just going to benefit michigan business owners in the
00:10:53.280general area it's not going to help more traffic flow over the border it is a very marginal impact
00:11:00.400on the overall economics okay very marginal because it takes time for traffic to ramp up
00:11:06.800there's various costs there's very sharing it gets fed back in and to put it in order of magnitude
00:11:13.040it's less than five percent in present value of the overall cost of developing the bridge so that's
00:11:18.960the overall what it is what it isn't and yeah could i have explained it better uh on a sunday
00:11:24.240morning at stampede yeah with a cowboy hat on yes i can explain it better uh and uh i explained it
00:11:31.360better uh in london ontario at gdls uh but i appreciate the opportunity and no he he never
00:11:39.080explained it better anywhere and again if he explained it poorly he would have known about it
00:11:44.100and he could have corrected himself he didn't explain it poorly he lied badly he lied very
00:11:49.400obviously. That is the only thing he regrets here, is that he ended up getting caught. And he's
00:11:54.320trying to say, well, it's not really all that much when it comes to how much we're splitting. It's
00:11:58.160only like giving away 5% of the, you know, the cost of what the bridge is. I'm just going to say
00:12:03.380this right here. I don't believe you. Do you know why? Because you lied. And by the way, let's say
00:12:10.240it is only that much. And it really is a big drop the bucket when it comes to the Canadian economy
00:12:15.400of what's being given away. Symbolically, this is pathetic. This looks really bad at the same time0.99
00:12:22.940a bunch of our premiers are trying to go all elbows up and say, I'm going to take the American
00:12:26.860booze off the shelves to show those yanks. And then our prime minister is just folding all over0.99
00:12:32.560the place. Now, I think the booze bans are really stupid. It doesn't really strengthen our hand in1.00
00:12:37.060any significant way. It just looks petty, if anything. You know, obviously, I think we should
00:12:41.920be playing negotiating hardball, I really think the booze thing ends up just being like a dumb0.94
00:12:46.360trying to like pretend symbolic victory at a time when we're actually taking symbolic losses as well.0.88
00:12:52.680So it's not even like we've been presenting some united front or whatever. And it is actually
00:12:57.960correct saying that we're more vulnerable to an alcohol ban than the United States is. If they
00:13:03.640ever put a tariff on Canadian alcohol products entering the United States, it would damage us
00:13:08.000far more because in places like British Columbia, BC sends three times as much alcohol over the
00:13:13.200border into the U.S. than the U.S. sends into British Columbia. It would have a much bigger
00:13:18.580impact on us if they ended up counter-tariffing us on that. That doesn't mean you never counter-tariff,
00:13:23.680you never sort of get your back up against the wall and push back. I'm just saying that their
00:13:27.920whole approach, the liberal premiers and Prime Minister Mark Carney, has been incoherent.
00:13:34.240But now, in a second, I want to get over to this clip where Mark Carney then presents his new idea to try and, I guess, replace the United States or something like that.
00:13:47.520We're going to create one Canadian economy in order to replace the United States.
00:13:52.340You know that thing that he hasn't accomplished in like a year and a half now?
00:13:56.340Apparently, now it's gut check time, and he's definitely going to do it, and you know, because he would never lie to you.
00:14:02.880I know that. Mark Carney has never lied to us ever. Ever. Ever. Anyways, so before we get into
00:14:10.540this next clip, I do just want to remind you guys, if you like the show, make sure to leave a like

00:14:40.560Curry for the United Conservative Party in the upcoming Alberta provincial election next fall.
00:14:46.560Anyways, but now let's get into this next clip I want to play. Thank you for Juno News for
00:14:51.380clipping some of the stuff out of the press conference so I don't need to find it myself
00:14:55.120in the, I think it's like almost an hour-long press conference.
00:14:59.920We also are acting to take down barriers that we've built that exist within this economy.
00:15:09.140Today, we agreed to work towards agreement in principle, to adopt model mutual recognition,
00:15:15.660to build one Canadian market, to let Canadians work wherever their skills are needed,
00:15:20.760drawing on the best advantages of provincial legislation.
00:15:25.120The Committee on Internal Trade will begin that work this summer.
00:15:29.520If we get this right, a nurse licensed in Ontario who moves to Nova Scotia
00:15:33.580will be able to start caring for patients right away.
00:15:36.820Manufacturer in BC who's already approved to sell engineered wood for homes in Alberta
00:15:41.420will be able to sell it anywhere in Canada instead of waiting years for that.
00:15:45.660It's workers and goods moving freely, growing our prosperity.
00:15:50.620So remember, this press conference with the premiers is happening in the aftermath of Trump's ticking time bomb on new tariffs,
00:15:58.880where he's going to impose 50% tariffs on a bunch of new goods unless we get to a deal.
00:16:04.640And Carney's response is that we're going to have another panel of premiers talk about how we can do more interprovincial trade.
00:16:12.620What? How is it taking this long to get any of the stuff done?
00:16:16.680Let's take the nurses issue that he just brought up there.
00:16:20.020Nurses from Nova Scotia should be able to work in British Columbia or from Ontario to Manitoba and Manitoba to New Brunswick.
00:16:28.100Your credentials should be able to transfer all over Canada.
00:16:32.240And we're going to put together a committee or some other body together to study this issue to try and bridge the gaps between the different systems.
00:16:42.580How about all the premiers just sign something today authorizing that if a nurse from Alberta
00:16:48.140goes to Nova Scotia or Newfoundland goes to British Columbia, you can work default. If there
00:16:53.060are problems, we'll figure out the problems later, but we need more nurses to be able to move around1.00
00:16:57.120more freely so you can work ASAP. That would be a good way of doing this, but we're going to put1.00
00:17:02.200together a new pricey bureaucratic body to study the issue and probably not come up with anything
00:17:07.940in another year's time. I need to cut over to my fellow content creating friend J.J. McCullough
00:17:15.140because I think he has such a great take on this issue and he has for quite a while here because
00:17:19.800this thing really irks him the way that Mark Carney keeps doing these press conferences with
00:17:25.620all the premiers pretending like we're going to be building one strong Canadian economy from
00:17:30.220east to west. So right here Mark Carney in a post six hours ago said in Charlottetown the
00:17:36.040premiers and I are focused on what we can control. Energy affordability and security, breaking down
00:17:40.960barriers to labor mobility, getting big things built faster. And there's a photo of him with
00:17:47.840all the premiers around a square table here. And then I just want to jump up to what J.J. McCullough
00:17:54.100said. And he says, it's seriously incredible how many of these pointless premier meetings he's
00:17:58.740managed to cram into one year in office and how the press continues to obediently report on them
00:18:03.940like they're somehow achieving anything. It's all awe of cheap spectacle, which this photo
00:18:13.940captures well. And then he goes down and says, I mean, I posted this back in January. And I
00:18:20.420remember I showed this post on my show back then as well. JJ back in January said, I just threw
00:18:26.440this together now. Carney keeps having all of these dumb meetings with the premiers in which0.96
00:18:31.260he says the exact same thing every time, and yet somehow he still needs to keep having the same0.97
00:18:36.360meeting even more, followed by the exact same talking points forever. And if you can see on
00:18:43.200the screen here, it goes from March of 2025 all the way into January of 2026, where back in March
00:18:51.46025, he says, the premiers and I are focused on building one strong Canadian economy. It's time
00:18:56.040to break down internal trade barriers. It's time that workers certified in one province are allowed
00:19:00.360to work in anywhere in the country it's time to build big things without rounds of red tape we're
00:19:06.260stronger and we're united and it's time to unite and as of January 29th 2026 and of course he's
00:19:12.260done this a few more times since then he says Canada's stronger more prosperous and more secure
00:19:17.260when we are united that's why the premiers and I and I are meeting in Ottawa today to break down
00:19:22.540trade internal trade barriers accelerate major projects and build to what does he say here
00:19:27.900and build a stronger and more sustainable, more independent Canadian economy.
00:19:32.720So he's basically been saying the same thing on repeat for like a year and a half now.0.99
00:19:39.100I would love to know how much these stupid meetings with all the premiers are costing Canadian taxpayers.0.99
00:19:45.580How many taxpayer dollars are being spent to fly all these people out1.00
00:19:51.740to talk about something that they are apparently not achieving anything on if they keep having to have meetings.
00:19:57.820J.J. then followed that repost of his January post up with this comment.
00:20:02.340He says here, Canada's news media is very credulous towards things that involve big, formal, flashy events, even if nothing happens at said event.
00:20:13.000I think because events are easy to cover, budget days, throne speeches, premier summits, those meetings the Assembly of First Nations always has.
00:20:21.220And yeah, the media keeps covering this as if they're doing anything.
00:20:25.880But apparently, guys, they did achieve something. Now we need to jump over to Mark Carney's signal achievement out of this meeting with the premiers. Apparently, we are now going to be able to move booze around the country a little bit easier. This is actually something big that they've been touting. I think he posted about this yesterday. I want to find it here.
00:20:48.760uh okay there we go uh prime minister carney carney posted this yesterday and he says building
00:20:58.880one strong canadian economy over a cbc headline that reads nine premiers to allow wineries
00:21:05.060distilleries breweries to sell directly to consumers across provinces uh considering
00:21:10.820there's one province missing i'm going to assume it's quebec there but this does nothing nine
00:21:17.120premiers to allow wineries, distilleries, breweries to sell directly to consumers across
00:21:21.180provinces? That is not the problem. The problem in the wine, beer, and spirits industry in Canada
00:21:29.000is not whether these companies can sell direct to consumers. The problem is, outside of Alberta
00:21:34.740and Saskatchewan, alcohol sales are effectively controlled by the government. Ontario, Manitoba,
00:21:40.860British Columbia, all the Maritimes, and Quebec, the government effectively runs the entire
00:21:46.820industry. Now, people will say in Alberta, well, there's the AGLC that controls sometimes importing
00:21:53.200of alcoholic products that then liquor stores buy from them. But that's a pretty casual system.
00:22:00.040You can bring in pretty much anything you want through AGLC, and they'll let you do it.
00:22:04.540They really don't control that much. They simply help facilitate some middleman importation for
00:22:10.580many of these smaller stores. Bigger ones oftentimes can handle this stuff on their own.
00:22:15.340the problem is in the industry in canada is places like bc who have the government control things
00:22:22.420they don't want to bring in things from alberta and saskatchewan and manitoba and the rest of the
00:22:27.020and the rest of the country because the issue is they want to stock as much local stuff on the
00:22:32.800shelves not because they have a big love of local but it's effectively a subsidy towards the
00:22:38.580distilleries and brewers and wineries in their regions to have their products basically have a
00:22:44.360monopoly on the shelves. Now, there is competition within the province, but there is a reason why
00:22:48.880their reputation in BC is that you can buy BC wines cheaper in Alberta than you can in British
00:22:54.720Columbia. And it's not just a sales tax issue. It's because everyone can sell in Alberta and
00:22:59.400only mainly BC places can sell in British Columbia outside of staple products that are pretty much
00:23:05.100sold pretty much everywhere on the planet, like Crown Royal, Alberta Premium, and stuff like that.
00:23:10.180But now I want to jump over to the CBC news segment that Jasmine Lane ended up highlighting yesterday.
00:23:18.740I thought this was quite funny, a great find from her.
00:23:21.740She says, CBC may never invite him back on.
00:23:25.480Ron Kubek calls out the illusions of the government's latest interprovincial trade barrier announcement.
00:23:32.660Now, I will be skipping through this a little bit because I want to get to when the interviewer actually has him on.
00:23:38.480because i i find it very obnoxious how the first question they asked is about donald trump and how
00:23:43.600bad he is because that is always the setup in all cbc interviews these days you know trump bad right
00:23:50.400trump bad basically poisoning the well against any criticisms of the canadian government because
00:23:55.440we've already set up that the americans are the problem in retaliation to canada being threatened
00:24:01.440by trump in retaliation to canada taking american booze off the shelves as a business owner what
00:24:07.840do you make of this move well first we were very dismayed and i had to work with my u.s rep who is
00:24:15.380now putting together another order so we can get it down there before the new tariffs but the ironic
00:24:20.180thing is chris is that the 50 tariff that mr trump is wanting to put on is still less than what every
00:24:25.820other province puts on us in canada and so you know the illusion or the free trade illusion that's
00:24:31.400coming out of charlottetown is really just that i mean this is just taking what they had said they
00:24:36.840were going to do last year and they're just regurgitating it and repackaging it but it's
00:24:41.860still nothing but the the fact is is that it says the legal loopholes for allowing me to ship my
00:24:47.360wine across the country means i've got to get registered register every wine do all these
00:24:51.700different things but it still keeps the provincial markups in place so if the premiers were serious
00:24:57.300they would really open up canada as a as an answer to mr trump but they're not they haven't
00:25:02.440It's a free trade illusion what they're doing right now.
00:25:08.380If he actually wants to take advantage of this new system that the premier's negotiated,
00:25:12.980he would have to go through all these regulatory hoops,
00:25:15.760and then he has to sell directly to singular consumers.
00:25:19.440Maybe it would be like restaurants and people wanting to buy cases from them.
00:25:24.240But overall, not really worth it because you have to deal in economies of scale as a winery.
00:25:29.400You're not exactly a small mom-and-pop shop just making, you know, singular bottles of things down in your basement.
00:25:36.080You're making tens of thousands of bottles a year.
00:25:38.760You're not going to just jump through a bunch of hoops to send two boxes to some random restaurant out in Winnipeg or out in Toronto.
00:25:46.960You're just not even going to bother with the whole system.
00:25:49.160And the main thing is the government putting in place effectively massive taxes against out-of-province alcoholic products.
00:25:57.340That is the problem that is actually going on here. And it's the core reason why we are having a problem dealing with the United States. It's because we have an effectively basket case economy that we can't use as leverage against the Americans because our own economy doesn't function as well as the American economy.
00:26:15.600The ability for Manitoba or for British Columbia to trade with Ontario, move products from B.C. to Ontario, is much more difficult than sending things from B.C. to like Texas or Connecticut or Georgia.
00:26:31.380It's just the truth. It's a big problem right now that it is somehow easier to interact with American states over an international border than within your own country.
00:26:40.840But now let's jump over to this clip of Angus. I was going to say Charlie Angus. There he goes. I was about to call him Angus King, who's the independent senator from Maine. I don't know why that was popping up in my head.
00:26:55.300But he does a great job of distilling the liberal slop take on the current trade situation.
00:27:06.420These people are not living in reality.
00:27:08.280He is pushing this lie that I've highlighted the other day as well, that Trump is gutless.1.00
00:27:16.320The start of this video, you will remember we were just talking about Carney lying about capitulating to the U.S. on the Gordie Howe Bridge.0.98
00:27:23.820But Charlie Angus and his Midas Touch network, which is actually a foreign-funded progressive activist group from America, he and Midas Touch are here to tell us that Trump's actually the problem when it comes to trade.
00:27:38.280Now, I don't think Trump is helping the trade situation.
00:27:41.360Obviously, he's the one who tariffed us.
00:27:43.400But let's not pretend that somehow the Canadian government's doing a great job on this.0.86
00:27:48.860We're, in fact, under tariffs because they suck at negotiating.0.74
00:27:59.000He couldn't look Prime Minister Carney in the face and say, I'm coming after your hockey sticks, because he probably knew that Prime Minister Carney would laugh at him.
00:28:07.500So he's got to go to True Social and try and rally the base.
00:28:15.640We don't need to listen to the rest of this.
00:28:17.400that is already delusional enough that prolonged exposure will hurt your brain. You might develop
00:28:24.740a tumor from listening to Charlie Angus. He's gutless. He's a coward. He wouldn't look Mark0.75
00:28:31.620Carney in the eye. What are we talking about? Carney was the one who just gave him 50%
00:28:37.420net revenue shares on the Gordie Howe bridge tolls. Mark Carney is the one who has been skipping
00:28:44.580meetings. We have not been sending trade delegates down to meetings about the U.S. considering new
00:28:52.080tariffs when Mexico showed up. Now, Pierre Polyev has been doing the right thing and he is using
00:28:58.140the right messaging on this issue. I thought that this was a brilliant way of using Mark Carney's
00:29:05.280own words against him, because this is the only way I think that you are going to sort of, you
00:29:09.160know crowbar out some of those elbows up liberals from the liberal base basically showing them mark
00:29:15.780carney isn't living up to his own standard now that doesn't mean we need to be elbows up liberals0.97
00:29:19.800to get their votes but we need to show them the how just foolish how just completely without merit
00:29:27.040that strategy has been here poly of here says leader the conservative party says carney said
00:29:32.920at davos that if you are not at the table you are on the menu mexico showed up at the table
00:29:38.940Carney did not. Who was on the menu? I think that this is very good messaging from Pierre
00:29:44.540Polyev, and he has been going after him pretty aggressively on the Gordie Howe bridge thing as
00:29:49.200well and connecting it to the issue of the current trade negotiations. Now I want to play one more
00:29:55.280clip to check in with how the liberal left is doing in the aftermath of the Gordie Howe bridge
00:30:01.240issue and the new tariff threat. So we're going to go over to our favorite friend, Laura Babcock.
00:30:07.000This is not Laura Babcock. She did not get a sudden glow up and grew a beard. But here she is, again, trying to whitewash the fact that Carney has been capitulating constantly to the Americans and making this about a national rally around the flag moment once again.
00:30:24.520and it's going to survive and we're never going to become Americans and I just have to say for0.99
00:30:30.380every single person out there who is pretending to be Canadian just to stir the shit you know0.97
00:30:36.260all the foreign influence online f you but for the Canadians who are out there looking for ways0.99
00:30:44.040to call balls and strikes and say that Carney keeps striking out at the plate and oh look how1.00
00:30:49.480trump's winning like check yourselves check yourselves because you're either ignorant as1.00
00:30:54.820fuck or you're traitors to our country when we are under attack and this attack is not just a1.00
00:31:01.160temporary trade war this is a trade war with the intention to escalate to the point where they1.00
00:31:07.160break our economy so they can take our country yeah that that that is the hardcore elbows up
00:31:15.160liberal that's the person you'll you'll never win but more people who voted liberal in 2025 i would
00:31:21.200actually recommend they watch some of these clips of laura babcock i think they would kind of realize
00:31:26.400that this elbows up thing has turned into a cult what was she even claiming like apparently if you0.82
00:31:31.520call balls and strikes on the performance on trade of mark carney and the liberals that you're a bot0.99
00:31:38.800or you're a traitor or you're ignorant like i'm sorry are we not allowed to call balls and strikes0.99
00:31:46.280anymore apparently we are not because that truly is the liberal position you just have to clap for1.00
00:31:51.980the canadian government no matter what they're doing simply because they're not the americans
00:31:56.000i'm not cheering the americans on i'm in fact basically like watching a sports team0.99
00:32:01.640underperforming and saying can we replace the coach can we get rid of that pocky player he0.91
00:32:07.280can't even skate and laura apparently would turn to you and say hey so you don't support our local0.98
00:32:13.500team and i'm like well i do i just don't i want to stop losing and but apparently losing is part1.00
00:32:20.280of the game plan if you don't understand it you're ignorant as f and you're a bot and you're a traitor0.99
00:32:25.060and all this stuff at the same time she is a frequent guest on charlie angus's show on the0.99
00:32:30.820Midas Touch Network in Canada, Midas Canada, which is a progressive left front group funded out of
00:32:38.100the United States. That is something so funny, I can't even comprehend it. Charlie Angus and
00:32:44.640Laura Babcock and all these people are always fear-mongering about foreign interference and
00:32:50.100the Americans trying to take Alberta out of Canada, and they're also funding all these people
00:32:56.020criticizing Mark Carney. But also, I'll take the progressive Democrat money from the US to talk
00:33:02.500about how bad Donald Trump is all day and talking about why Canada shouldn't want to deal with the
00:33:07.680Americans. I'm totally fine with being a progressive American pawn in order to basically
00:33:13.420message against Donald Trump so that I can hurt him in the midterms, because that's what Midas
00:33:19.460Touch is doing. They are trying to separate Canada from the United States while Republicans are in
00:33:24.820power so that they can offer themselves up as the only way of bridging the gap between Canada and
00:33:30.000the Americans in getting back to free and fair trade. Now, I want free trade, but these people
00:33:35.020are not honest. They are effectively funding an organization to push Canada and the Americans
00:33:41.680apart further, which is not helpful. That is why we always get messaging out of people like Charlie
00:33:48.180Angus and Laura Babcock and these other individuals that emphasizes that we don't want an agreement
00:33:53.720with the Americans. We don't want to deal with them. We want to deal with China. It's, in fact,0.92
00:33:58.060a big win that Mark Carney is dealing with the communist Chinese. What? They're locking up a1.00
00:34:03.340million Uyghur Muslims and putting them in work camps? Well, at least they're not Americans.1.00
00:34:07.460Then we'll deal with those guys. This stuff is just maddening. Anyways, with all that being said,1.00
