00:00:00.000 I absolutely love all the liberal shills on social media.
00:00:04.780 There's something inherently very funny about somebody who tries to spin every single obvious failure as a victory.
00:00:11.760 It's like going on a tour in North Korea and having your tour guide explain to you why life in North Korea is so much better than everywhere else.
00:00:20.080 It's like a black comedy event.
00:00:23.140 And that's why we are talking about this video today from Klaus Kellerman's YouTube channel.
00:00:28.680 It is entitled, How Canada is Winning the New Trade War.
00:00:34.760 I'm sorry, this isn't a matter of opinion at this point.
00:00:38.540 Prime Minister Mark Carney and his Liberal government are failing on trade.
00:00:43.020 Not just, in my opinion, based on their own metrics.
00:00:47.340 They promised that they could get a trade deal that was good for Canadians.
00:00:51.080 At one point, they were even setting dates on when they thought they could get a trade deal,
00:00:55.400 and they blew past all those dates, and they got to the point where Mark Carney was in Parliament
00:00:59.820 saying, well, who cares about actually engaging with the Americans and getting a deal? And now
00:01:04.500 they're making massive concessions for basically nothing in return. But today, we all need to be
00:01:10.600 educated, you see. We all need to hear from a man just filming himself outside why Canada is actually
00:01:17.480 winning the trade war. But before we get into the video, I just want to highlight how many views
00:01:22.100 this thing has. This guy does not have chump views like some of the other people we talk about. 0.96
00:01:27.480 Klaus Kellerman POV has 73,000 views on this video he put out yesterday. It reminds me a lot
00:01:34.900 of how Charlie Angus and Midas Touch Canada on their channel are getting like 100,000 views on
00:01:41.880 every video. This guy has videos that have over 800,000 views, which is a telltale sign based on
00:01:48.380 the extremely low quality of the content, that it's being boosted by some progressive front
00:01:54.180 group out there. Charlie Angus never really scratched together many views when he was an
00:01:58.800 actual sitting MP and could get media spots whenever he wanted or upload videos on what's
00:02:04.340 going on in parliament or with Trump and his administration and whatnot. But suddenly after
00:02:09.440 he's an MP, he starts hitting it out of the park with every single video, 80,000, 150,000 views
00:02:16.220 on videos where the channel looks like it's being held together with bubblegum and tears,
00:02:22.200 and it's mostly just them ranting incoherently with no data, just talking about how bad Trump
00:02:28.720 and the Americans are. Now, hey, this is not a high-budget channel that I'm doing here. It's
00:02:33.580 mostly me talking. But I actually try and show you things on screen. I try and back up my points
00:02:39.120 with facts and evidence. This guy doesn't even show anything in his videos. Somehow he still
00:02:43.700 needs to edit it like he can't even organize his thoughts for 10 minutes it's just it's just
00:02:48.260 basically liberal elbows up slot propaganda telling you it's all right when every indicator
00:02:54.420 out there tells you it's definitely not all right but I'll let Klaus make his point here we're
00:02:59.660 starting a little bit into the video because you don't really need to hear his intro
00:03:02.920 I like doing that so our government is doing what it said it would do we are negotiating with the
00:03:10.760 Americans and we've made a sort of an offer. We will drop the booze ban if you drop the 50%
00:03:17.200 tariffs that are coming and the illegal tariffs that you applied on our steel, aluminum and autos
00:03:23.020 and forestry products in the past. No, immediately, this is just a lie. I like how he, right off the
00:03:30.820 bat, he says, well, the Carney government is doing what it said and they're negotiating with
00:03:35.180 the Americans. It's been a year and a half and we have not actually had anything substantial happen.
00:03:41.660 Anything substantial along the way has nothing to do with actually negotiating a deal. It has to do
00:03:45.700 with the liberal government just giving up concessions for nothing in return, which is
00:03:49.420 terrible negotiating strategy. You guys don't need to hear that. But he claims that as a mini victory
00:03:54.540 at the start that Carney is negotiating and he's not. He's in Italy. His team's doing it for him.
00:03:59.640 he's barely engaged at all. And then he moves on to say that we're going to give up the booze ban
00:04:05.360 as well as some other things like how we were limiting the amount of American cars that can
00:04:10.200 come into the Canadian market, as well as getting rid of a couple other things the Americans don't
00:04:14.280 like and easing our supply management system. I don't even like supply management, but we're not
00:04:18.520 really getting much in return for getting rid of it. And then he claims, he is right, that what
00:04:23.660 we're trying to do is offer those things to try and deflect incoming 50% tariffs on 5% more
00:04:30.680 Canadian exports. That would be around $23 billion of exports to the United States. That would be
00:04:36.420 bad if it happened, but we are obviously giving up way too much just to stop future tariffs. But
00:04:41.960 then he claims right after that, that we're actually getting rid of the tariffs on steel,
00:04:47.580 aluminum, softwood, and there's like other products also involved in that with minerals,
00:04:51.860 like I think copper is also involved in it. No, we're not even touching those ones. Even if we
00:04:57.460 reduce those by 10%, we're giving up a lot of leverage and not having pretty much anything
00:05:01.680 afterwards to reduce it further. But we're not even doing that. We're not even touching those
00:05:06.600 things. But this man is just feeding slop into the troughs of his audience, telling them that
00:05:13.060 Carney is actually making some double bank shot play to get rid of the future tariffs as well as
00:05:18.660 rid of the current ones the current ones are not on the table whatsoever and this man has 73 000
00:05:24.260 views on this video and counting now i don't think that has any hope of happening but we're engaged
00:05:29.780 in dialogue well at least he admits that it has no hope in happening of hot happening but it has
00:05:35.140 no hope of happening because what he claimed is happening is not even what's being negotiated at
00:05:39.780 all and by the way it has no hope of happening because carney doesn't want it to happen
00:05:44.180 Carney likes the problems. Did Trump technically start the problems? Well, yes, but Carney doesn't
00:05:50.600 want them to end because it's good for his electoral prospects of the Liberal Party
00:05:58.360 to keep the tariffs going forever and not actually get to a settlement. Just keep dragging it out,
00:06:03.820 keep getting slight relief here and there. The Liberal government can dump billions of dollars
00:06:07.920 onto affected industries to make them not complain so much, but it's really good when they get to an
00:06:12.320 election and they get to pretend they're elbows up against Trump when in fact they're almost like
00:06:16.980 acting as controlled opposition for Trump and not actually doing anything to move to like
00:06:21.660 the adult negotiating table to get something done. At the same time we're moving forward
00:06:28.380 on our own with our own agenda. The latest news reported on August 11th in the Financial Post
00:06:34.120 Ottawa offers to cover 50 percent of the cost of shipping steel across Canada as tariffs away
00:06:40.620 Under a new Commodities Sectoral Support Program announced on Monday, steel shippers can apply for a rebate that will offset 50% of the cost to ship domestic steel by rail or marine transport across provinces and territories.
00:06:55.900 As we Canadians choose Canada for a summer vacation, our government is introducing policies that will help Canada build in Canada for ourselves.
00:07:04.940 no no that's called subsidies you're helping people build more it's what you're doing is
00:07:11.700 taking taking products that people were not buying in canada mostly because we're overtaxed
00:07:17.420 overregulated and people cannot afford to build a lot right now and the government is using tax
00:07:22.300 dollars to subsidize products to subsidize the shipping of steel across canada what are we
00:07:29.760 talking about? No, we're not choosing Canada by doing this. We're in fact just prolonging the
00:07:35.840 trade war so that Carney doesn't look embarrassed at the negotiating table. I think Carney could
00:07:40.760 pull the plug on the current negotiations because the public opinion on them is not very good
00:07:45.220 because he looks incredibly weak. Not that he should go elbows up. No, he should be an adult
00:07:49.920 and engage in real hardball negotiations like Claudia Scheinbaum, being willing to actually
00:07:55.140 give up something large and something for something large in return. He gives up little
00:07:58.740 bits and pieces of things that aren't really worth anything in the eyes of the Americans.
00:08:02.400 They don't really give him much other than maybe deferring future tariffs. And that because he
00:08:07.020 won't touch all of supply management, if we give up all supply management, we could maybe get
00:08:11.340 tariffs off of entire products like steel and aluminum, but we won't do that. And it's funny
00:08:16.100 how he's saying like, we're choosing Canada to vacation this summer. Where is your God,
00:08:21.000 Prime Minister Mark Carney? What country is he vacationing in right now? It's not Canada,
00:08:25.840 just as a spoiler alert for him making the cost of moving construction goods across our country
00:08:31.040 cheaper as we embark on these nation building projects and it doesn't make things cheaper
00:08:37.240 it actually in fact makes things more expensive because the government is just pouring money into
00:08:42.760 it pouring money into anything increases the cost but it just gives you a little bit of extra money
00:08:48.360 to pay for those costs that's all it does if you subsidize something it will become more expensive
00:08:56.080 He's acting like this is a cost-saving measure.
00:08:58.760 This is the problem with so many liberal voters.
00:09:00.740 They think the grocery rebate is a cost-saving measure.
00:09:05.180 Whenever we just pour money into an industry, we are lowering costs or we are somehow creating jobs.
00:09:12.680 No, we are subsidizing.
00:09:14.280 We are subsidizing a job.
00:09:15.780 We are subsidizing a product.
00:09:17.220 We are subsidizing demand for a product that would not be there if the government was not taking your tax dollars
00:09:23.460 and giving it to a minority of the country to spend money on that product.
00:09:28.240 Choosing specifically the steel that have been hit hard by U.S. tariffs.
00:09:32.540 So if they don't want to buy our stuff, we will use it here to build our own country.
00:09:37.000 And the funny thing, we're not using it.
00:09:38.760 We're having to pay people to use it because they don't want to use it or they can't afford to use it.
00:09:42.760 We need that steel and aluminum to build pipelines and LNG facilities and mining facilities
00:09:48.020 and potentially nuclear facilities.
00:09:49.880 another program announced recently to help solve the north's energy deficit ottawa looks at nuclear
00:09:56.200 options and they've handed this file to the department of national defense we are working
00:10:00.920 on building very small nuclear reactors deployable into the arctic to replace the diesel generators
00:10:06.440 that are up there said danielle sacks founder and ceo of the corporation and just to give you an idea
00:10:11.560 of this technology canadian technology traditional canadian technology and this guy makes me less
00:10:18.120 proud to be a canadian and i'm a proud canadian it's just slop like he's using liberal press
00:10:24.580 releases to pretend that we're doing very well apparently this is the man that governments
00:10:29.260 release press releases for because he's just eating it up and i actually expect he doesn't
00:10:34.940 even believe it he is simply putting it out to his audience knowing that his videos are being
00:10:39.200 boosted and he is making money off of it what is he talking about like oh we're we're winning the
00:10:45.080 trade war evidence well we're spending money on our own economy we are dumping money to subsidize
00:10:51.260 certain industries that are affected by the trade war because carney can't actually figure out an
00:10:56.060 off-ramp from the trade war how is this winning like you he realizes that's what the the americans
00:11:02.500 do too everyone does this in in terror situations people subsidize the affected industries so they
00:11:08.660 don't complain as much and you're supposed to then use that time you bought to try and get to
00:11:14.540 a resolution to the problem, but we're not. So where's the winning part come in?
00:11:19.780 National nuclear reactors used in Canada can generate about 800 megawatts of electricity
00:11:24.640 or enough to power 600,000 homes at once. The International Atomic Energy Agency,
00:11:30.160 the United Nations Organization for Nuclear Cooperation, considers a nuclear reactor to
00:11:35.600 be small if it generates under 300 megawatts. But what Sachs is working on is even smaller.
00:11:41.200 One expert suggests a micro-reactor could generate between 1 and 50 megawatts.
00:11:46.880 Our reactor is about the size of a desk, Sachs said.
00:11:51.740 I don't know why these details even matter in terms of his overall point about trade.
00:11:56.100 Like, okay, yeah, small modular reactors exist.
00:11:59.640 Cool. I endorse them. They're cool. I have no problem with them.
00:12:04.440 Winning on trade? I'm not seeing this part here.
00:12:07.180 Can you imagine replacing all the diesel-generated electricity in our northern regions and all the CO2 emissions that are coming from those with a couple of dozen micro-reactors the size of desks?
00:12:22.760 Sure.
00:12:24.920 Sure.
00:12:25.860 I guess so.
00:12:28.520 Cool.
00:12:29.380 Cool.
00:12:30.200 Close.
00:12:30.740 What else?
00:12:32.000 This is new age technology that we're talking about.
00:12:35.200 And just think of the transformation here.
00:12:37.060 It's not just replacing a diesel generator with a small microreactor.
00:12:41.460 A diesel generator needs diesel that has to be transported there continuously by ship, by truck, on ice roads, trucks that burn diesel to deliver diesel.
00:12:53.680 The whole supply chain is eliminated because a nuclear reactor, once you build it, you don't have to deliver anything to it.
00:13:02.320 Yes, that is how nuclear works, Klaus.
00:13:04.540 this is like fantastic technology and i'm glad that we're working on this to bring our north
00:13:11.120 into the leading edge of technology another the north is always going to be subsidized territory
00:13:16.640 which is fine with me but he's acting like we're somehow going to like turn into jetsons or
00:13:20.440 something like that if we build small modular reactors up north i endorse the idea that's a
00:13:24.860 fine idea it's like this is how does this have anything to do with winning on trade is trump
00:13:29.460 like shaking his boots because we might someday build small modular reactors up in nunafut or
00:13:35.040 like the northwest territories the recent announcement here on august 1st canada could
00:13:40.720 add billions to its economy by processing more food the federal government is pledging major
00:13:45.420 investments to grow canada's food processing industry and you can see the idea here in the
00:13:50.400 picture indoor food growing in a cold country just the way he's just the way he's describing
00:13:56.840 this is funny guys we're canada's winning because we might make some investments for food look at
00:14:03.980 this picture of food growing going on right here you can kind of picture all the food that will be
00:14:09.380 grown by this photograph of food growing okay i guess so are we winning like this guy this guy
00:14:17.600 would be the type of person you'd put him in a like i think would be a black comedy tour to go
00:14:22.480 take a tour in north korea and have handlers walking around explaining why everything in
00:14:27.300 that country is the best and all of their big plans to like leap leap forward and be better
00:14:32.420 than every country on the planet but like apparently close kellerman pov here would be
00:14:37.540 like eating this crap up he'd be like what i didn't realize north korea's military was more
00:14:42.980 powerful than the united states but this guy right over here just told me he has a press release to 0.99
00:14:46.820 prove it. Okay. Possibly vertical farming. This is a picture of a cucumber farm. We're moving
00:14:54.000 forward on multiple files that will improve our country and the world is noticing and the world
00:14:58.780 is investing in Canada. The world isn't, no, the world's not investing in Canada. The world is
00:15:04.380 buying up Canadian assets because our economy is extremely weak. There's no really new investments
00:15:10.440 happening in Canada right now. A chart just came out today. I guess I'm a big old propagandist
00:15:15.620 because pure poly and the conservatives put it out but they were the ones who put out for a reason
00:15:19.120 because liberals don't want to highlight it it's just can't like it's just statistics can to
00:15:23.380 information since mark carney became prime minister the growth of the economy over that entire period
00:15:29.220 of time up until the last of the second quarter because that's the last quarter we have data for
00:15:33.660 of this year we have had 0.1 percent or negative 0.1 percent growth it's not been great now we'll
00:15:41.540 probably grow a little bit this summer because of you know decent things have happened for the
00:15:45.340 economy it could always shrink again at some point again the growth numbers they're celebrating are
00:15:50.060 like 0.3 percent in a month which isn't bad if you could keep that up the entire year but we
00:15:55.940 celebrate the liberals in the media on a complete curve we we grade these people on a curve if we
00:16:02.140 don't like literally completely fall over ourselves and fall down stairs Carney is given accolades
00:16:08.900 for not being as bad as Trudeau when in fact actually when you analyze some of their performance
00:16:13.280 on specific issues he's worse on other ones like immigration he's better but even Trudeau was
00:16:17.960 starting to become better at it at the end of his tenure because of just how obvious the mass
00:16:22.500 immigration issue was killing his popularity but in places like the deficit Carney's obviously
00:16:28.740 worse now he can blame that saying I have to spend more money propping up our industries because of
00:16:32.640 the tariffs and whatnot it's like okay fair enough I will forgive him for like 20 billion dollars of
00:16:37.900 the deficits. Can we get a trade deal? Because again, I'm watching this video and I'm almost
00:16:43.480 forgetting he is trying to claim that we are winning the trade war. It's one of the greatest
00:16:49.100 periods for overseas investment in Canada that we've seen in the century. And it may be
00:16:54.420 unprecedented because, you know, we have to wait for the rest of the year. But the short answer
00:17:00.660 to your question is that money is pouring into Canada like we have not seen. That was Matt
00:17:06.700 Winkler, editor-in-chief at Bloomberg News, discussing the flow of cash into our country
00:17:11.320 from investors around the world. Yes, but you have to pair that up with the amount of money
00:17:16.280 leaving the country because you can have a lot of inflows simply because there are a lot of
00:17:21.920 outflows and it means that there's then a lot of undervalued assets being left behind that
00:17:27.000 people are coming in and buying up. That's been kind of the catch-22. The Carney government
00:17:32.580 is celebrating big investments. But the only reason those big investments are happening are
00:17:36.860 because a lot of money is also fleeing, causing a lot of money to come in and buy up those now
00:17:42.100 undervalued assets because it's just not a great economy to operate in. It's not because
00:17:47.100 businesses are expanding. The amount of job growth that has happened since he became prime minister
00:17:51.880 is fairly minimal. And if we actually judge him based on how jobs have grown from six months
00:17:57.360 before he became prime minister, it's actually pretty much gone down or been completely flat
00:18:01.620 lighting. He benefits from the fact that when Carney first became prime minister, he kind of
00:18:05.820 started when there was like a big deficit of jobs. When he took over, that's when the trade war had
00:18:12.340 basically first started. And that meant a lot of jobs fell off in the first month or two before he
00:18:17.060 became prime minister. And so when he came back, a lot of the recovery was happening, which made it
00:18:20.920 look like he's creating jobs, when a lot of jobs were just coming back when industries realized
00:18:25.260 that they weren't going to be affected. But when you actually judge him based on a further back
00:18:29.800 point is mediocre at best. And it's showing up in the numbers in our economic reports. Things are
00:18:37.660 heading in the right direction, especially when comparing to our major competitor, the United
00:18:41.700 States. Night and day, Leanne, we had a blockbuster positive number. The U.S. economy actually lost
00:18:47.920 jobs in July. They put out two different numbers on the same day based on whatever survey it is.
00:18:54.780 So it's either 23,000 job losses based on a payroll survey or 87,000 job losses based on the broader survey, which is equivalent to how Statistics Canada reported it today.
00:19:05.700 Either way, bad news in the U.S.
00:19:08.160 And I think not just the month's numbers, but the longer term trend in the U.S. labour market has been quite different than Canada.
00:19:15.760 Since Donald Trump came back in with his trade war and the tariffs and everything else, overall employment in the U.S. has actually been falling.
00:19:23.780 whereas it's been growing in Canada.
00:19:25.840 Real wages in the U.S. are falling.
00:19:27.880 Real wages are growing in Canada.
00:19:30.340 Real wages are not growing in Canada.
00:19:33.120 We had immigration go down,
00:19:35.000 so we had a bunch of people who were making minimal wage
00:19:36.980 get cut out of the economy,
00:19:38.240 which meant that the average wage, in theory, has gone up.
00:19:41.860 But it's not like the average person,
00:19:43.680 individuals, if you actually follow them,
00:19:45.200 are making more.
00:19:46.260 They might even be making less.
00:19:47.360 Some are definitely making more somewhere in the economy.
00:19:50.280 But no, it's mostly just because the average has been moved up from low wage workers leaving and the denominator of workers in the economy falling.
00:20:00.520 That's how that works. And it's like, well, they're falling while we're rising.
00:20:04.540 Yes, but we have a 6.4% unemployment rate in our country and they have like a 3.2% unemployment rate in their country.
00:20:13.540 Them losing 23,000 to 87,000 jobs is also kind of a rounding error for them.
00:20:19.280 not us because we have 10 times smaller of a population and they could say well that means
00:20:25.520 it's so great we made 75 000 jobs mostly summer jobs guys it's just true and in around september
00:20:32.240 october you're going to see some drop-offs in the job numbers that the media and the liberals are
00:20:37.380 going to ignore because they love celebrating when jobs are added right before the holidays
00:20:41.080 or right during the summer and then they ignore it when all the jobs fall off in january or going
00:20:45.800 into the fall before the holidays. So the assumption that the trade war would kind of
00:20:51.680 put Canada on its knees economically is not panning out. And you notice I refer to the United
00:20:56.560 States as our competitor, not our partner. We fall into... Wow, you're so cool, close. I can't
00:21:03.760 believe you called him a competitor. I saw what you did there. Like, who cares? This trap in Canada
00:21:09.780 of just assuming that because the country is close to us and they're just across that line,
00:21:15.280 that border on the map, that they're our friend and that they're our partner. They're not our
00:21:20.120 friend. They're not our partner. They're our competitor. We can trade with them if we can
00:21:24.780 trade in a mutually beneficial way. But they've shown recently, without a doubt, that they are
00:21:30.540 not our friends and they're not interested in making a fair deal. And I don't have any feeling
00:21:36.720 that a deal will be reached. So he's already preemptively just blamed the Americans. No deal
00:21:41.920 reached. That's because Americans are bad and they don't want to trade in our mutual interest. 1.00
00:21:46.820 What would he call supply management tariffs where it's basically impossible for U.S. dairy,
00:21:52.100 cheese, chicken, eggs to enter our economy? Because that's the same argument that they're
00:21:57.200 being so bad to us on steel and aluminum. And guess what? I don't like either of those tariffs.
00:22:01.400 They're stupid. I'm a free market guy. But none of these people are consistent with how they 1.00
00:22:05.820 actually evaluate tariffs on one side of the border and the other again you he's kind of
00:22:11.760 giving away the game of trying to like basically tell his own audience no they are competitors
00:22:16.460 they're not partners just because they're on the other side of the border it's just toxic 0.93
00:22:20.660 anti-americanism it's just trash coverage trying to get trying to prep the liberal base to basically 0.65
00:22:28.500 be okay with no deal ever and the one advantage the liberals have is that and if you're over the 0.85
00:22:34.460 age of 60 watching this channel you're definitely a probably a conservative but the advantage the
00:22:38.700 liberals have is so many of their supporters are retired are living on pensions or just have you
00:22:44.520 know a lot of money built up from working a long time hey they earned it but there's a lot of
00:22:49.100 liberal supporters who are insulated from the facts on the ground they can be elbows up because
00:22:55.060 they're no longer working they're no longer raising a family they don't have kids in the
00:22:58.600 house anymore in the ecos poll that came out a trash poll that showed the liberals were ahead
00:23:03.880 by like 18 points. So the conservatives, they're not, they're ahead, but just not by that much,
00:23:08.180 maybe four, five, 6%, maybe seven. Even that ECOS poll, when they asked people who they were voting
00:23:14.420 for, if they had kids in the household, if they had one to three kids, it was that the conservatives
00:23:19.860 were either close or ahead of the liberals. In a poll where the liberals were ahead by 18 points,
00:23:26.680 if a household had three kids in it, they were voting conservative. That should really tell you
00:23:31.740 something that should tell a liberal something about how people who have to deal with physical
00:23:36.540 reality think about policies and really also just exposed how bad the ecos poll is because
00:23:42.460 really what they showed was that a lot of their poll was only people who didn't have kids like
00:23:47.220 a vast majority of people poll did not have children and if they included more people who
00:23:51.800 had children who were in the house the conservatives would have been way tighter but ecos puts in a
00:23:56.940 deliberately bad mix. The entire poll is a lot of default urban liberals who are above the age of
00:24:02.860 60, and he basically does barely anything to actually wait out the poll. He overpolls women,
00:24:08.220 he overpolls people over the age of 60, overpolls people in urban areas, and then pretends like
00:24:12.960 it's somehow what the public actually thinks. Anyways, so no doubt we will be talking more
00:24:19.620 about my friend, colleague, life partner, Klaus Kellerman here. I love stuff like this because
00:24:26.700 it's so obvious. It's so obvious that it's boosted liberal propaganda. And you have to actually kind
00:24:34.140 of contend with the content liberal people watch, the sorts of things, the sorts of just sludge
00:24:40.860 that elbows up liberals are watching. So when they say, well, no, we're winning because we invested
00:24:46.100 in food growing. We are putting money into small modular reactors and subsidizing the
00:24:51.260 transportation of steel. That's not a win. That's coping with the current situation that we're in
00:24:57.500 at best. And based on the Liberals' own definition of what a win should be on trade,
00:25:02.180 they're losing. They are obviously losing. But the thing is that these people, Klaus Kellerman,
00:25:08.860 Illyria A., Laura Babcock, Charlie Angus,
00:25:12.140 they don't consider it a victory
00:25:14.280 if Canadians on average are doing better.
00:25:17.260 Life is easier. 0.96
00:25:18.220 They consider it a victory
00:25:19.380 if we're thumbing our nose at the Americans 0.98
00:25:21.100 and telling them to go screw themselves 0.56
00:25:22.780 because these people don't live in reality.
00:25:25.380 These people live in the CBC world
00:25:27.980 where somehow the country is better off
00:25:30.360 because we're prouder for having said something nasty
00:25:33.440 about Donald Trump.
00:25:34.640 Who cares?
00:25:35.560 Who cares what he says about us?
00:25:37.060 Who cares what we say about him?
00:25:38.520 how about let's make life better by actually engaging in a serious negotiation that allows
00:25:43.120 us to fight hard while giving certain things up to get what we want in return? There's no such
00:25:48.680 thing as a negotiation where both sides obviously have somewhat opposite interests. We do have some
00:25:53.920 unified interests too, but if you have some opposite interests, like not that I like it,
00:25:58.360 but our liberal government wants to keep supply management and they don't want us to keep supply
00:26:01.900 management, but we also don't want them to keep their current tariffs on us, there might be a swap
00:26:06.500 here that kind of meets us back in the middle on the things we do like like free trade but what do
00:26:11.780 i know i'm not reading all the brilliant press releases that close tellerman is so i'm under
00:26:17.620 i'm uneducated on how great the liberal government is currently doing on this trade war that that
00:26:23.060 we're winning anyways with all that being said thank you guys for watching make sure to like
