The Liberals are back at it again, with a new attack on Conservative leader Pierre Polyev. This time, it's about him posing for a photo with a gay man wearing a straight pride shirt. Is this evidence that Polyev is secretly an anti-gay bigot? Or is it evidence of something else?

00:00:00.000 Throughout the entire month of January so far, it seems like the Liberal Party of Canada's communications team has been on a massive bender because they've been stumbling back and forth for weeks now, trying to find an angle of attack on Conservative leader Pierre Polyev and utterly failing.
00:00:15.380 It seems like their strategy now is just throwing random negative buzzwords at him and the Conservatives, hoping that they can maybe trick a couple voters into coming back and supporting the Liberals, but this is the weakness of negative ads.
00:00:26.760 I know some people say negative ads do not work. That's a misnomer. Bad negative ads do not work. The Michael Ignatieff just visiting ads that the Conservatives ran in 2011 were brilliant. The He's Just Not Ready Yet ads that the Conservatives ran in 2015 were horrible.
00:00:42.080 And so these ads from the Liberals right now, or not ads, but these posts the Liberals have been putting out, are themselves horrible.
00:00:48.320 It does not take attention off the Liberals, all the negative attention off them. Everyone's still mad at Justin Trudeau for being a horrible leader for his bad economic policy and the woke stuff that they won't stop pushing on Canadians.
00:00:59.560 And by trying to accuse pure Polyev of somehow being like a nasty bigot or some enemy of the free press is not going to get Canadians to move their ire off the Liberals because they have not seen evidence yet that Polyev has done anything wrong and he isn't the one day to day ruining their lives the way the Liberals are.
00:01:17.180 So this is the thing that the Liberals posted a few days ago that I already covered. Trying to accuse pure Polyev of being like a enemy of the free press is that Polyev's been the one going around arresting journalists, preventing journalists, independent media journalists from going into Liberal Party press events or taking people like Ezra Elvanta Court for writing a book during an election. 0.67
00:01:37.460 It's completely insane stuff, but because Polyev pushes back against, you know, left-wing journalists, that means he's some sort of villain or whatever.
00:01:43.840 And this is the latest one they've put up today. It's the height of just throwing buzzwords at Polyev and hoping that they stick.
00:01:51.220 Here's what this one says.
00:01:53.380 Pierre Polyev and his conservatives have consistently stood against progress for the LGBTQ2 communities and last summer he thought it was appropriate to pose for a photo with someone wearing a straight pride shirt.
00:02:04.980 No wonder Canadians are concerned.
00:02:06.480 And the specific post-referency Toronto Star article titled, Concerned About Queer Rights Under Polyev-led Government Keeps Me Up At Night, written by Faye Johnson, a very, very far-left, like, journalist activist. 0.59
00:02:20.940 Someone that nobody should take seriously.
00:02:23.040 And does anyone read that seriously who isn't already a deep, almost cult-like Liberal Party supporter and think,
00:02:29.880 oh, there must be something nasty going on inside the Conservative Party.
00:02:33.220 Name the policy where the conservatives are going after any specific minority group, anyone.
00:02:39.600 You can't name it because it does not exist.
00:02:41.980 Even if you find very, very socially conservative MPs, they're not, who are they attacking?
00:02:48.260 They're allowed to live their lives how they want, and they want you to live your life how they want.
00:02:52.000 That's what kind of conservative, like, the Conservative Party's philosophy is.
00:02:55.300 And if they can find me something that goes against that, that would be great.
00:02:59.080 And the idea that, oh, Polyev took a picture with a guy with a straight pride shirt,
00:03:02.900 and this is somehow evidence that Polyev might be secretly, like, an anti-gay bigot or something. 0.99
00:03:07.840 That's ridiculous. 0.99
00:03:09.280 Politicians take photos with hundreds of people at events. 0.65
00:03:12.020 And the idea that we now have to, like, you know, when someone walks up to take a photo,
00:03:15.520 we're like, step over there, sure, put your arms out, we're going to read your shirt,
00:03:18.240 we're going to check your pockets, and we're going to make sure there's no bad tattoos, anything like that.
00:03:22.360 You're not allowed to make any hand symbols while we take this photo.
00:03:26.000 No one's going to do that. 1.00
00:03:27.160 It's stupid. 1.00
00:03:27.920 That's just ignoring political reality. 1.00
00:03:30.140 And I really like this tweet from Corey Morgan.
00:03:32.260 I know he's actually posted this a lot whenever the liberals do this line of attack, but it's brilliant.
00:03:37.520 Corey just said, here is Justin Trudeau with convicted pedophile Terry Lowe.
00:03:42.000 Want to keep playing this game?
00:03:43.320 And that's not the only one. 0.98
00:03:44.860 There was another, you know, pedo that Justin Trudeau has taken photos with. 0.81
00:03:49.240 And is Justin Trudeau wrong for taking photos with him?
00:03:51.820 I would say no.
00:03:53.280 How is he supposed to know who Terry Lowe is at the time?
00:03:56.960 Or how is he supposed to know about, like, Peter Nygaard's crimes? 0.96
00:04:00.680 It's a dumb standard, but the liberals want to play that game. 0.92
00:04:04.060 So if they want to play that game, the conservatives are allowed to fire back in similarly dishonest manners 0.98
00:04:10.760 because they have endorsed the tactic.
00:04:13.360 And here is who Faye Johnson is, the person who wrote that article going after Polyev and saying that,
00:04:18.900 you know, queer people should be scared of a Polyev government. 1.00
00:04:22.120 Why?
00:04:22.600 I don't know feelings or something.
00:04:24.740 Here is something that Faye Johnson just posted a couple hours ago as I am recording this video.
00:04:29.640 They say if there's truly no reason queer folks should be worried about regression on big acronym rights,
00:04:38.620 equality efforts, or public policy under pure polyev, all he has to do is publicly state as much.
00:04:44.160 His silence amidst rising hate says a lot. 0.75
00:04:46.760 You can cite his gay dad all you want. 0.66
00:04:48.920 You can cite the queer MPs and the CPC too.
00:04:51.640 None of that responds to the substance of our concerns.
00:04:55.760 Y'all need to move beyond your analysis of queer inclusion as either on board or show slurs at gay people.
00:05:02.660 I don't think pure polyev is a raging homophobe.
00:05:05.200 I do think he'd trade on your inclusion and progress to cater to social conservatives.
00:05:09.320 Nothing he's done shows me otherwise.
00:05:12.280 Oh, goodness. 0.98
00:05:13.320 And that's the stupid thing, that there's no evidence pure polyev or anybody in the conservative party 0.99
00:05:18.860 would go after minority rights or trying to discriminate against people in any unreasonable way. 0.99
00:05:25.520 And when I say unreasonable way, I mean, like, obviously, I don't think having tampons in men's bathrooms is reasonable.
00:05:31.760 That's not a right that you have.
00:05:33.660 Anyways, but like the idea that, oh, you have to say the entire script we hand you,
00:05:39.140 you have to say the script that we hand pure polyev, or he's a bigot.
00:05:42.360 This is the game people like Faye Johnson are playing.
00:05:44.480 That unless you read the script, unless you say my words, then you are a bad person.
00:05:50.720 You should never give in to these people because if you give them an inch, they will take a mile. 0.99
00:05:55.680 I just covered the UCP in Alberta doing this stupid thing where they're passing their own anti-racism grant programs. 0.99
00:06:02.380 Don't do that. 0.99
00:06:02.940 I don't care if it gets activists off your back.
00:06:05.320 They will come back and they will want more.
00:06:07.380 And then you'll just say, well, I only have to give them this much more and they'll leave me alone for another few weeks.
00:06:10.900 Then they'll want more.
00:06:12.140 Don't mess with these people. 0.96
00:06:13.580 They're awful. 0.56
00:06:14.600 They want all of your power.
00:06:16.860 They will take your power from you. 0.97
00:06:18.300 And the fact that you're handing it over to them is ridiculous.
00:06:21.100 And I'm happy that Pierre Polyev has not bent to this. 0.83
00:06:24.200 He goes after gender theory.
00:06:25.460 He goes after the idea that parents shouldn't have oversight over their kids in the classroom.
00:06:30.740 That has been very good.
00:06:31.980 But all these people who are on the left, these socially progressives, they do not.
00:06:37.620 The thing is that you can't also bend to their social views and think that you're not going to have to adopt their economic views in the long run.
00:06:44.760 That's where I've never understood the idea of the hyper socially progressive conservative who is conservative on fiscal issues.
00:06:50.980 But on social issues, they, you know, they're either don't care or they're super socially like liberal.
00:06:56.260 The problem is, is that the views that you hold as a social liberal eventually bleed into your economic views because the two are not mutually exclusive.
00:07:05.180 You can't hold cultural Marxist views on social issues and then think that you're just going to be a capitalist the rest of your life on fiscal issues.
00:07:12.340 It's not how it works.
00:07:13.340 Anyways, it's a great to see the liberals continuing to just swing and miss on all of these attacks.
00:07:18.660 They don't know what the average Canadian wants.
00:07:21.460 They just seem to think that politics still works the way it does five years ago when you just say someone's a racist, unkind, bigoted, and you'll eventually win the election because people actually used to trust legacy media.
00:07:33.760 They don't anymore, and conservatives can actually risk being conservative these days and actually benefit more than doing this weird red Tory moderate thing.
00:07:42.580 And that's exactly what I'm doing because I'm running in the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.
00:07:48.160 And if you want a real conservative in your riding, make sure you buy a membership and you support that real conservative.
00:07:53.780 I am a real conservative in this riding.
00:07:55.320 It's in West Calgary.
00:07:57.180 If you want to buy a membership, support me, unless you live in Bowness.
00:08:00.360 I believe they're cutting Bowness out of the riding after April because Alberta is getting three or four new riding because it's great.
00:08:05.820 But if you live in that riding, buy a membership to vote for me because we want people who stand up to the left on these issues, not just people who will avoid the issues, try and get you a couple tax credits, and mostly leave out the social realm.
00:08:17.120 The social realm has influence on the fiscal realm.
00:08:19.820 So even if you think, well, I'm not a big social issue guy, you kind of have to be because these people who are hyper left-wing social progressives will eventually come for your money as well.
00:08:29.080 So anyways, other than me also plugging the fact that I have a GiveSendGo link in the description of this video for my legal fund, go donate to there.
00:08:37.200 We have a billionaire suing us here at the National Telegraph.
00:08:39.440 We're winning that case.
00:08:40.540 It's just some whiner trying to use lawfare tactics against us. 1.00
00:08:44.080 That would be great, fully appreciated.
00:08:45.660 But other than that, I hope everyone has a great day, and I'll be back with probably a live stream fairly soon for this channel.
