Summary

Jagmeet Singh has a plan to get back on top, and it's called constantly embarrassing himself all of the time. It's tragic to watch, but it's a tragic comedy from my perspective. I don't know what runs through Jagmeet Singh's head that makes him say and do the things that he does, but his actual strategy to try and go from his negative 3 approval rating back up to where it used to be at is to make people laugh at him, and then rinse and repeat the next day.

00:00:00.000 Ever since his approval rating slipped into the negatives, federal NDP leader Jagmeet Singh has been feeling neglected and underappreciated by the Canadian general public.
00:00:11.360 But don't worry, he has a plan to get back on top, and it's called constantly embarrassing himself all of the time.
00:00:18.220 I don't know what runs through Jagmeet Singh's head that makes him say and do the things that he does, but it seems like his actual strategy to try and go from his negative three approval rating back up to where he used to be at, genuinely used to be at like a plus 20.
00:00:34.060 But his plan now is just to go out there and just swing wildly at the conservatives, make a fool of himself, have people point and laugh at him, and then just rinse and repeat the next day.
00:00:44.960 It's tragic to watch, but it's a tragic comedy from my perspective.
00:00:50.120 And this week, Jagmeet Singh is trying to blame the federal conservative party and Pure Polyev for the leaky border, for all the illegal crossings and smuggling going on.
00:01:01.740 That's not Justin Trudeau and his fault, the people who actually control the government.
00:01:05.940 That's Pure Polyev's fault because he doesn't believe in them hard enough or whatever.
00:01:10.240 Or something, something, Stephen Harper 20 years ago is whatever Jagmeet Singh's argument.
00:01:16.240 I'll let him make his own case here, but it doesn't make much sense to me.
00:01:20.960 We've got to do everything possible to get the toxic garbage, the toxic drugs off our streets.
00:01:25.700 That's what I'm focused on.
00:01:27.240 What I've heard from Pierre Polyev is a lot of playing politics with people's lives,
00:01:32.180 making not actually focused on solutions to save people's lives,
00:01:36.040 not focused on getting people the help they need, and not focusing on border,
00:01:40.540 which the conservatives made massive cuts in staffing so that we're up against a very leaky border
00:01:47.700 where there are dangerous items coming into our country because of the cuts the conservatives and Pierre Polyev brought in
00:01:53.800 that have not allowed for our borders to be as secure as they should be.
00:01:57.460 And so I question the genuine nature of Pierre Polyev.
00:02:02.440 He's not serious about this. This is for him playing politics.
00:02:05.920 This is for him about dividing people.
00:02:09.400 Thank you for Rebel News for clipping this.
00:02:11.860 I have about five things to say about this.
00:02:15.280 Don't count them, but I'm just saying I have a lot of stuff to say about this.
00:02:19.120 One, you can tell the hamster running on the wheel inside Jagmeet Singh's head is getting a bit tired,
00:02:25.380 and it doesn't have the energy it used to have.
00:02:28.580 This guy is not even that good at lying or making excuses.
00:02:32.560 Really, it cuts from when the conservatives were in power back in 2015 that is affecting the border today.
00:02:40.020 Really?
00:02:40.780 At the same time, he's talking about toxic drugs on the streets
00:02:44.280 and Pierre Polyev playing politics with people's lives and not caring if people get hurt.
00:02:48.420 At the same time, Jagmeet Singh supports safe supply programs.
00:02:53.280 He's supporting his counterpart idiot out here in British Columbia, pushing for an expanded safe supply program.
00:03:00.420 He wants it all over the country, even though it's already ruined B.C.
00:03:03.900 David Eby refuses to back off it.
00:03:06.300 He'll make some changes around the sides of decriminalization, but he's a radical, so he's not going to step off of it.
00:03:13.180 But really, it's Polyev's fault that you guys, spending more money than ever before on the federal level,
00:03:19.560 can't hire more border guards, can't actually have monitoring systems to make sure that we can crack down on smugglers,
00:03:26.420 moving firearms and drugs over the border.
00:03:28.660 That's also the biggest farce when the liberals and the NDP pretend like they take gun violence seriously.
00:03:34.900 They go after law-abiding gun owners.
00:03:37.280 At the same time, they just let gangs do whatever they want.
00:03:40.560 They even lower the penalty for carrying around illegal handguns.
00:03:44.480 And at the same time, they're trying to go after a farmer who has a shotgun to protect himself
00:03:48.820 and to get rid of coyotes and other kind of varmint-type animals on their property.
00:03:54.480 That's where his priorities lie.
00:03:57.040 But again, it's that all Jagmeet Singh has, because he's been stuck in a corner of having to back everything that Trudeau does
00:04:04.040 and not criticize him too much.
00:04:05.400 Like if he was smart, he would criticize him all the time and pressure Trudeau into doing what he wants.
00:04:09.640 But Jagmeet Singh, again, the hamster, does not run that fast inside of his head.
00:04:14.080 And so he instead just keeps deflecting towards the conservatives as if anyone's going to see clips of him speaking like this.
00:04:21.240 And they're going to be like, yeah, it really is Polly's fault for ruining the border,
00:04:26.340 for not operating the government as well as it should be.
00:04:30.560 Yes, it's the opposition's fault nine years into a Trudeau liberal government for not getting stuff done.
00:04:37.700 I always love that, where it's the opposition's fault from the perspective of those in government
00:04:44.200 for not believing in them enough.
00:04:46.020 That's something that Sean Frazier actually said when Leslie Lewis from the Conservative Party pointed out
00:04:51.220 that their housing goals are literally impossible to achieve.
00:04:54.640 And he attacked her for naysaying their plans, for not believing in it enough and unifying,
00:05:00.580 as if unity and clapping along to whatever Sean Frazier wants to do is actually going to make it happen.
00:05:05.580 But then Jagmeet Singh also posted this the other day.
00:05:09.860 Again, he keeps acting like he's both inside the government and not inside the government at the same time.
00:05:15.680 I know the supply and confidence agreement doesn't mean that there's no NDP cabinet ministers,
00:05:21.200 but they can get whatever they want.
00:05:22.740 They can just say, we're not going to pass whatever you guys want, and they have a lot of leverage.
00:05:26.640 But Jagmeet Singh's one issue where he pretends like he's fighting the liberals and the conservatives on it
00:05:31.800 is on the idea of grocery prices and fighting back against grocery giants.
00:05:36.600 So right here he posted, it's not right that you're struggling to afford groceries
00:05:40.800 while grocery giants are posting record profits.
00:05:43.880 One, they're not.
00:05:44.960 He just takes revenue and he assumes it's profit because, again, Jagmeet Singh isn't that smart,
00:05:49.720 so he doesn't understand that what you take home at the end of the day is not your top line numbers.
00:05:54.560 Technically, record profits are always in play because as inflation goes up,
00:06:01.140 your profits, your profits, your revenue goes up, which means you made more money than last year.
00:06:05.560 He's also been caught several times just lying about profits or revenue.
00:06:10.040 He once said that Sobeys had 40% higher revenue this year when it was because they sold a gas station
00:06:15.440 chain that they can no longer operate and make money from,
00:06:18.620 but he was pretending like that was money being made off of fruits and vegetables and cereal.
00:06:24.560 Anyways, he moves on to saying,
00:06:26.000 It's wrong.
00:06:27.200 I promise you I'll never stop fighting.
00:06:29.900 Together, I know we can change the rules to build a country that looks out for you,
00:06:34.260 not just those on top.
00:06:35.880 And then the headline says,
00:06:36.880 NDP leader vows to protect consumers from corporate greed.
00:06:40.800 How is he going to protect them?
00:06:42.320 Well, he'll put more taxes and regulations on large grocery store chains,
00:06:46.940 making it so that the smaller chains collapse and we have more power consolidate in the hands of fewer and fewer companies.
00:06:53.900 That's not even exactly like wrong.
00:06:56.620 Like I don't want to break up superstore or Walmart.
00:06:59.380 It's not their fault that they're so big.
00:07:01.420 Like, yes, they do lobby the government,
00:07:03.060 but it's all of the policies that Jagmeet Singh and Justin Trudeau back that ends up actually causing corporate consolidation.
00:07:10.740 Larger companies can always absorb the hits that they take from higher taxes and increased levels of regulations better than their smaller competitors can.
00:07:20.760 And so even though that what Jagmeet Singh is doing is going to make them profit less in the long run,
00:07:26.660 they will profit more in raw dollar terms,
00:07:29.140 because even if they get their profits cut from 4% or 5% down to 3%,
00:07:34.200 if they go from controlling 20% of the market to 35% of the market,
00:07:39.680 obviously they're still making more money, even though the margin is lower.
00:07:43.900 This guy doesn't know what he's talking about because he is a socialist and socialists do not understand how the economy works.
00:07:51.120 But anyways, that's pretty much it for me today.
00:07:53.700 No wonder why Jagmeet Singh, even as weak as the liberals are now, have never been able to crawl out of third place.
00:08:00.080 He does not demonstrate competence.
00:08:02.520 He does not give people confidence.
00:08:04.060 He can deliver anything because even in a position where he can deliver, he doesn't do it.
00:08:08.500 And I don't want any of his agenda being pushed through, but he achieves very little in the position that he's in.
00:08:14.560 Like, I, from a political analyst's perspective, want to tear my hair out watching a man who could have whatever he wants
00:08:20.900 basically get absolutely nothing every single day.
00:08:24.660 But I guess that's good for all of us that Jagmeet Singh rarely gets his way, at least fully gets his way.
00:08:30.900 Anyways, that should be it for me today, guys.
00:08:33.000 If you want to donate to my legal fund, that's in the description of the video below.
00:08:37.120 If you live in British Columbia, consider donating to the BC Conservatives in the description below as well.
00:08:44.000 That really helps us out.
00:08:45.000 We can beat the NDP.
00:08:46.200 We just need the money.
00:08:47.340 Our polling is better.
00:08:48.280 Our momentum is better.
00:08:49.260 We have a lot of volunteers.
00:08:50.320 We just simply need the money for literature, advertisements, and all that stuff to overcome the NDP, the BC NDP's war chest.
00:08:58.260 I'll see you guys all tomorrow.
00:08:59.920 Have a good one.
