00:00:00.000 As much as Jagmeet Singh and other NDP politicians like to cast themselves as the most compassionate and empathy-filled members of society, in reality, they just like using the suffering of other people in order to try and win votes.
00:00:15.360 And, in fact, they're willing to cause the suffering being experienced in the first place in order to exploit the situation to pretend that they're the ones who actually care about the sufferers, even while they're effectively the ones who hit the sufferers with their car in the first place, and now running out to say, who is going to help this poor man that I've just struck?
00:00:36.520 And this is exactly what the NDP and Jagmeet Singh are doing on the issue of hungry children in Canada.
00:00:43.980 They're trying to attack pure politics and the Conservatives and lift themselves up by pretending that they care about children going to school without food, even though they're the ones who have hurt Canadians financially so much that we are now in a reality where parents cannot feed their kids before they get on the school bus. 0.96
00:01:03.080 It's absolutely ridiculous, disgusting, insane.
00:01:07.760 This is an actual post that Jagmeet Singh made on social media today trying to attack Pure Polyev. 0.99
00:01:14.520 It says,
00:01:15.100 Pure Polyev's budget math, yes to $60 billion in corporate handouts, including $2.35 billion to the grocery cartel, no to feeding kids who go to school hungry.
00:01:26.840 Jagmeet, baby, you and Justin Trudeau are the ones making kids go to school hungry.
00:01:33.540 You're the ones taxing families too much.
00:01:35.900 You're the ones raising regulations, raising inflationary spending.
00:01:39.600 You're the ones attacking the oil and gas industry and many other industries across Canada.
00:01:44.140 And now you have the audacity to show up onto the scene of the crime that you caused and pretend that you're the one with the solution to the problem. 1.00
00:01:54.320 No, you're just an idiot. 1.00
00:01:56.120 You're just a horrible person who's here to attack Conservatives by taking the money away from Canadians and then giving it back to them in small quantities and then fear mongering that Pure Polyev wants to take this money away. 1.00
00:02:08.500 And in a certain sense, it would be right for Pure Polyev to defund a school lunch program because we should be trying to shrink the size of government and give people more of their own money back so that a school lunch program is not necessary. 0.51
00:02:22.460 It is only necessary because Justin Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh have made it necessary.
00:02:28.920 These people are not compassionate.
00:02:30.760 They're not empathetic.
00:02:31.820 They're just big government bullies trying to utilize the power of government in order to exploit the suffering of people for votes. 0.91
00:02:40.680 This is not an actual solution to a problem.
00:02:43.560 It's more inflationary spending that will make people think that the NDP cares for the next six months.
00:02:48.840 But as soon as this helps cause inflation to go higher to the point that people can no longer afford other things, then the NDP will be there with a new program to try and solve all the new problems that they caused.
00:03:02.460 And by the way, Pure Polyev and the Conservatives are very evil for not agreeing with this new program to take even more money away from people, whether through taxation or inflation, and then give it back to them to try and put a Band-Aid on this massive wound we've caused to Canadians' financial positions.
00:03:20.800 The idea that left-wing ideologies are compassionate because it wants the government to do things is entirely false.
00:03:29.240 At the end of the day, solutions, like the type of solution that you propose doesn't matter.
00:03:33.780 It's the effect that it has.
00:03:35.340 If you keep proposing things that hurt people and require more of your big government solutions, you're not compassionate, you're not helpful, you're not a nice person, in fact, that you are a problem.
00:03:47.580 It's not uncompassionate to say that the government should do less so that parents can deal with their own problems themselves with more money on hand to do it.
00:03:58.160 That, in fact, is the more effective solution, and effectiveness is the real currency of compassion in government.
00:04:06.120 If you are delivering a more effective solution to something, even if that requires the government to do less, you are the one being more compassionate and more feeling to people's problems.
00:04:17.680 But the idea is that because the Conservatives don't want to take money away from rich people and then spend it on others, that that means that they're not nice people when, in fact, it's the NDP effectively stealing other people's money to pretend that they're the ones spending it on causes that are solid.
00:04:36.980 When I keep going over this, they're the ones who cause the problem throughout all the inflation.
00:04:42.140 Well, here's Jagmeet Singh stumping for this policy at the beginning of the month, pretending that he, he alone is the one who cares about hungry children and are forcing the Liberals to do the right thing, which is hilarious because this problem didn't exist 15 years ago.
00:04:57.860 In this upcoming budget, one of our specific demands is that the federal government finally commits to a national school lunch program.
00:05:06.900 We want to make this happen across the country.
00:05:09.140 As Marita said, we want to make this everywhere in every city and every community that every kid can go to school and know that they'll have a healthy lunch.
00:05:17.140 He finally wants this policy passed.
00:05:19.400 Well, why is this policy needed in the year 2024, but wasn't needed in 2012?
00:05:25.680 Well, maybe he would claim it was still needed in 2012.
00:05:28.960 But back then, when Stephen Harper was the prime minister, people actually could afford stuff.
00:05:33.520 They didn't need all these tiny government programs to help them with a lunch that doesn't even cost that much.
00:05:38.820 The fact that people can't pay for like a $2 school lunch or breakfast, making a few eggs, demonstrates the absolute level of damage that the Liberals have done to working families, the NDP has done to working families.
00:05:52.620 And what this reminded me of, because the NDP doesn't actually care about suffering people. 0.84
00:05:57.800 They just hate rich people and use suffering people in order to attack rich people because they're not paying their fair share, even though when rich people used to pay less in taxes under Harper, all these problems that rich people need to pay into to solve didn't exist.
00:06:11.400 And it reminded me of this clip of Margaret Thatcher going after a Labour MP for attacking her because income inequality had become a bigger issue under her government, even though everyone was better off.
00:06:22.680 What the Honourable Member is saying is that he would rather the poor were poorer, provided the rich were less rich.
00:06:32.460 That way you will never create the wealth for better social services as we have.
00:06:37.960 And what a policy.
00:06:39.700 Yes, he would rather have the poor poorer, provided the rich were less rich.
00:06:45.000 That is a Liberal policy.
00:06:46.840 Yes, it came out, he didn't intend it to.
00:06:49.300 That's 100% correct, because what Jagmeet Singh is doing here is that he is cheering on poor people becoming poor, that yes, they need government solutions to their hungry child problem.
00:07:02.860 And we're going to step in there, and then we are actually happier that we are now having to give more social services to parents, and now we get to go attack rich people.
00:07:14.340 That's really the motivation of Jagmeet Singh, is that he is just over the moon because he gets to attack rich people for a problem that he ended up causing.
00:07:22.440 So he made poor people poorer, and now he gets to make rich people less rich, and that what really fires up Jagmeet Singh at the end of the day, he's already made his wealth.
00:07:32.320 He can't be taxed on any of it at this point, which is why he'll never back up wealth tax.
00:07:37.040 Not that I would ever support that, that's insane.
00:07:39.460 But Jagmeet Singh is already rich, so now he gets to be the compassionate rich person who wants to take money from other rich people to pay for problems that he and Justin Trudeau caused in the first place.
00:07:49.580 Anyways, that should be it for me today. Sorry for a little bit of an all-over-the-place rant there, but that's just sometimes how it comes out.
00:07:58.120 Anyways, just the normal shameless plug, I, Wyatt Claypool, am running for the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.
00:08:06.060 So if you live on the west side of Calgary, these are what the riding boundaries are going to look like after the redistribution in April.
00:08:12.860 So if you live in this area, buy a federal Conservative Party membership, and go check out my website in the description below, wyattclaypool.com.
00:08:21.160 Vote for me number one on your ballot.
00:08:22.940 And also, if you want and you don't live in the riding, you want to donate to the TNT Legal Fund, I also have that Give, Send, Go link in the description below.
00:08:30.940 So I'm being sued and the National Telegraph by a billionaire developer for defamation.
00:08:36.480 Defamation he cannot prove and he has not provided any evidence for in an over two-year court case in which he's now just ducking us because he can't beat us in court.
00:08:45.300 Literally, the article he's having a problem with only had like 2,400 views.
00:08:50.020 There was nothing inaccurate, and all the reporting that mentioned him in it was based off a Globe and Mail article that was hyperlinked to.
00:08:57.200 So he's really just suing us because he was too cowardly to sue the Globe and Mail for saying true things about him.
00:09:03.460 Anyways, that should be it for me today, guys.
00:09:05.860 Have a good one.
