The National Telegraph - Wyatt Claypool - Jagmeet Singh turned the NDP into a pathetic wreck!

00:00:00.000 In the midst of everyone talking about Mark Carney versus Pierre Polyev in the 2025 federal

00:00:06.660 election, there's one man who feels very left out of all this, and that is NDP leader Jagmeet Singh.

00:00:14.740 Truly, I don't think mainstream Canadian political news has had to cover him in about four months now,

00:00:21.480 because he's just become purely irrelevant. But now, to try and regain his relevancy,

00:00:27.620 for some reason, he is still harping on about Donald Trump as if he's the big opponent

00:00:33.980 to Donald Trump from Canada. The man isn't even going to come in third place in seats. He's going

00:00:40.120 to stay in fourth place, and he is trying to cut videos as like a call out to Donald Trump,

00:00:46.740 as if Donald Trump's going to challenge him to a fight or something like that, and Jagmeet Singh is

00:00:52.020 going to have to wrestle or do judo for the honor of all Canada. Check out this video. It's deeply

00:01:00.420 embarrassing to both Jagmeet Singh and the entire NDP.

00:01:03.920 We need to ban Donald Trump from attending the G7 summit. Donald Trump should not be welcome here.

00:01:10.380 Why would we invite someone who has threatened our very democracy, our very sovereignty?

00:01:16.520 Why would we invite someone who has threatened our economic well-being?

00:01:22.880 What is he even talking about? He's literally just taking every single little thing that Trump's

00:01:28.380 ever said and turning it into like, oh my goodness, he made a joke about the 51st state. He's probably

00:01:34.200 wanting to exterminate all Canadians. Oh my goodness. Donald Trump talked about the border. He talked 0.99

00:01:40.700 about Governor Trudeau. Oh, he's just disrespectful. Can't even show up to the G7. It's like, guys,

00:01:46.520 you are constantly saying awful things about him. You know, people can have bad or good opinions

00:01:52.620 about Donald Trump, but the least person who should be mad about anything that Trump said

00:01:58.500 is like Jagmeet Singh and Justin Trudeau in Canada because they've been using the guy's name as a

00:02:03.480 synonym for bad for years, and then they're shocked that Trump seems to not respect them at all.

00:02:10.120 To be fair, I also think that Trump barely knows who Jagmeet Singh is, probably doesn't even know the name.

00:02:15.160 Why would we invite someone who threatens our allies and threatens the world's stability?

00:02:21.420 Why would we allow a convicted criminal into our country? Why would we invite someone who has such 1.00

00:02:27.020 disdain for multilateral organizations? Instead...

00:02:31.700 What multilateral organizations? Is he talking about NATO? The thing that the US mostly pays for?

00:02:37.360 I can't believe they're not respecting NATO. We don't respect NATO. We barely pay anything into it.

00:02:42.480 I find this all so silly. What we should do is use the G7 summit as an opportunity to work with our

00:02:49.360 allies on a plan to resist Donald Trump and his dangerous threats to the world.

00:02:55.680 He has to know that he's never going to win any more seats. He has to know that the NDP is going

00:03:02.720 to fall on its face in the next election, because I couldn't see you truly thinking that this was going to work.

00:03:10.100 I think this is Jagmeet Singh trying to keep himself relevant in the most sweaty and desperate way possible.

00:03:16.100 Just running out there and just saying, guys, I'll lock up Donald Trump if you elect me, Prime Minister of Canada.

00:03:21.520 If you let me keep my seat in Burnaby, I will keep posting bad things about Donald Trump.

00:03:28.080 It's like, who is this made for? I guess it's basically made for people in downtown Toronto and Montreal and Victoria.

00:03:36.820 But even then, they can vote for the liberals. The liberals can also do this anti-American, anti-Trump stuff

00:03:43.000 in a less embarrassing way. Like, Jagmeet Singh's out here trying to, like, mean mug Donald Trump.

00:03:49.260 Here's another video he's made talking about Donald Trump. Outside of a few text posts on his social media,

00:03:56.220 everything is literally Donald Trump posting.

00:03:58.880 Hi, Donald. Behind me is the border. On this side of the border, we do things differently.

00:04:06.140 Canadians take care of each other. So over here, our health care is free. Our kids, our parents,

00:04:13.000 if they need surgery, all we pay for is the parking. True, parking can be a little too expensive.

00:04:19.320 What are they talking about? No, you don't get the health care. You get to wait a very long time

00:04:24.600 and you pay massive amounts of taxes to not get this health care.

00:04:28.240 But over there, people who can't afford health care go bankrupt. They have to sell their homes.

00:04:33.760 I bet there are more people on that side of the border who believe in our system than vice versa.

00:04:39.380 So instead of trying to make Canada the 51st state, you could take some notes.

00:04:44.060 Hi, Donald. Behind...

00:04:45.500 You could take some notes was a terrible punchline. And this is, again, one of those things where it's

00:04:50.960 like, this guy's not even good at the thing he is attempting to do. He's not even good at the,

00:04:56.700 you know, call out to Trump. He's not even interesting at all. It's all just kind of

00:05:01.580 boring naysaying. But of course, the liberals are also getting in on this too.

00:05:06.640 So as you may know, I don't need to bring up the transcript, but Donald Trump said,

00:05:12.060 Pierre Polyev, he's not mega, which is good for Pierre Polyev because obviously he's not mega.

00:05:16.980 He's a Canadian politician. And he can say, absolutely, I'm not mega. I'm Canada first.

00:05:21.540 It set Pierre Polyev up for a great moment. But now, because obviously this took the baton out

00:05:27.380 of the liberals' hands, they can't say he's just like Donald Trump because Donald Trump doesn't

00:05:30.980 think he's like Donald Trump. They're just posting stuff like this in response to Pierre

00:05:36.400 Polyev saying, Mr. President, it is true. I am not mega. And they're like, oh man, but he's probably

00:05:41.980 lying because, I don't know, the liberals have literally nothing to run on. They have literally

00:05:48.180 nothing to run on. So even when the horse's mouth is saying, yeah, Pierre Polyev is not like me,

00:05:53.660 they're still like, but there's a chance he could be. He still is kind of like him.

00:06:00.520 Guys, drop it. It's a bad talking point. How many Canadians do you think are going to be voting

00:06:06.560 in this federal election based on who is not like Donald Trump the most? Yeah, that might be a type

00:06:14.040 of voter, but they were already voting liberal or NDP in downtown Toronto anyways. All these people

00:06:19.780 are in like Montreal. They were already going to vote that way. And they were never going to vote

00:06:25.100 conservative. That is the problem in so many parties. All of its messaging just doubles down

00:06:31.120 on people that you won 20 years ago. You already have these people voting for you. And yet you are

00:06:36.700 still marketing to them as if they might leave you at any point. Like you're just like, you're like

00:06:41.580 a boyfriend that can constantly like, uh, terrified you're about to be dumped. So you're just

00:06:47.740 constantly like, like pouring on as many gifts and whatnot as possible. The liberals constantly

00:06:53.360 are signaling. The NDP is constantly signaling to anti mega liberals and NDP. Okay. They already

00:06:59.580 have. What are you doing? That doesn't mean to not serve your base. You should serve your base

00:07:04.680 because your base are the bulk of your voters and they're all your volunteers, but you don't

00:07:09.680 constantly pander. You don't just keep repeating phrases and marketing points that they already

00:07:15.800 like. This is even the conservatives every once in a while do this too much to the point where it

00:07:20.220 annoys their base. Stop saying like acts the tax and stuff like that. It's great. It's good slogan,

00:07:26.860 but get to the substance because if it becomes too many slogans, I feel like I am now being,

00:07:31.780 you know, taken for a ride. I feel like I'm not being taken seriously as a person. If you're just

00:07:38.180 constantly doing the verb, the noun stuff rather than doing more intellectual explanations of your

00:07:43.520 policy and your disagreements with the liberals. But yeah, this is all the liberals have. What's

00:07:50.020 the NDP been posting? I just checked out Jagmeet Singh's personal social media and is the NDP doing

00:07:56.420 literally anything different? Okay. Yeah. Yeah. They're also just posting about Americans or

00:08:02.560 whatever. Universal public health care, no universal health care. Well, yeah, I guess they don't have

00:08:09.200 universal health care in the US, but they also still have Medicare and Medicaid, which operates

00:08:13.680 better than our system. So I'm not sure what they're talking about. And then they have like the

00:08:19.340 health care is not for sale thing because it is true that a lot of NDP voters are very obsessed

00:08:25.800 with the health care issue. When you do issue polling, whenever usually health care is within the top

00:08:31.520 four issues in Canada, but the people who care about it are like 40% NDP. It's not that other people

00:08:37.180 don't care about health care. It's that the NDP really cares about health care, even though

00:08:41.940 they would be the party most ill-equipped to actually getting people in this country health

00:08:47.020 care. But yeah, Jagmeet Singh is embarrassing his party these days. I don't see him pivoting at all

00:08:54.100 properly before this next election. I don't even know how he's even going to perform on stage.

00:08:58.700 Like, is he going to continue this even when he's debating Polly Evan Carney? He's just going to say,

00:09:02.800 well, I got something to say to Donald Trump. Well, how, why hasn't somebody talked about Donald

00:09:07.740 Trump yet? Well, I'm not going to let us become the 51st state. He's like a windup doll of just

00:09:12.280 stupid progressive talking points. So anyways, that should be it for me today, guys. I, or maybe 1.00

00:09:18.560 I'll have another one out later. I'm at the, uh, I'm in Nanaimo for the BC conservative AGM. I'm going

00:09:23.820 to go head down to that convention center. Now I just got back from Kitchener to Calgary not that long

00:09:28.580 ago. Now I'm in Nanaimo. Hopefully when I get back to Calgary, I can like rest for more than a day or

00:09:33.800 two. But anyways, so that's it guys. Make sure to like the video, subscribe to the channel,

00:09:38.720 leave a comment, and I'll see you guys later.
