00:00:00.000 Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here. With Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau declaring his
00:00:05.860 intent to step down as Prime Minister in late March once the Liberal Party of Canada selects
00:00:11.380 a new leader, we should take some time to talk about what this leadership process is going to
00:00:16.420 look like. Because so far, it looks really sketchy based on some of the details people
00:00:21.780 on social media have highlighted. I want to talk about one major one today because it has a lot
00:00:27.420 of implications about foreign interference in Canadian politics tied up with it.
00:00:32.200 At a later date, I will be making a video on the different individuals running for the Liberal
00:00:37.660 leadership. I'll probably make a video on who we think is going to run, and then I'll do a more
00:00:42.080 fulsome video on the background of each person who is running. We already kind of know the characters
00:00:46.780 who are going to be throwing their hats in. Mark Carney, Chrystia Freeland, Francois-Philippe
00:00:52.220 Champagne, Anita Anand, Melanie Jolie, and I think there's like Christy Clark and a
00:00:57.380 few other people, Dominic LeBlanc, mostly losers, mostly people with very beige personalities
00:01:03.080 who nobody cares about. And how do you run for leadership when your entire background is doing
00:01:07.640 whatever Justin Trudeau tells you to do? At least if like Wayne Long ran, you could say,
00:01:12.440 well, at least he was saying that Trudeau should resign like a year ago. So he has that to, you
00:01:17.120 know, to advertise himself with. He actually has a backbone. I guarantee one will eventually run on
00:01:22.340 getting rid of the carbon tax and slashing immigration. You're going to have a lot of people
00:01:26.220 trying to redefine what the Liberal Party is out of desperation to try and win the leadership.
00:01:31.200 But anyways, now let's get over to this foreign interference issue in the leadership race,
00:01:36.720 because the rules for memberships make it inevitable that anyone can basically rig the
00:01:42.160 race as long as they can get a ballot into a ballot box, because there's basically no rules for
00:01:47.400 who doesn't qualify to be a voter. You just have to be 14 years old, literally, just 14. I'm going to
00:01:54.360 read you the actual rules in just a second here. But first, I just want to mention to you guys, hey,
00:02:00.200 like this video, subscribe to the channel, do all that good stuff, help the channel grow,
00:02:04.700 especially during this tumultuous time, when you're probably going to want to keep up with all the
00:02:09.160 little details of what's going on in the Liberal leadership race. I will be breaking it down in
00:02:13.320 detail, not just talking about the surface level. But here we go. This was highlighted by Bob
00:02:20.720 Macklin here. And this is just part of the Liberal leadership and nomination rules here. They're
00:02:26.680 basically the same thing. A nomination is just a local riding leadership, effectively.
00:02:31.640 But here are the membership rules. Registration of the Liberal Party of Canada is open without
00:02:36.760 discrimination based on race, national or ethnic origin, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation,
00:02:43.700 age or physical disability. I don't know why my reading's so off. Justin Trudeau really messed me over
00:02:49.720 today. He decided to resign. That son of a gun. My baby boy decided to resign on the day I was the
00:02:57.180 most tired. I posted this like really weird thing today. I'm like, what did they do to my baby boy?
00:03:02.040 How am I supposed to talk about Anita Nand and be entertaining? Nobody cares who Anita Nand is.
00:03:07.260 And now I have to not talk about Trudeau and talk about who Dominic LeBlanc is? That's not fair.
00:03:13.200 Oh, come on. Anyways, so I actually have a small affection for Justin Trudeau,
00:03:18.340 because at least he was easy to talk about. But it says, to be eligible for registration in the
00:03:23.720 party, a person must be at least 14 years of age, support the purpose of the party,
00:03:29.060 or ordinarily live in Canada or for Canadians living abroad, be qualified as an elector who
00:03:34.660 may vote in accordance with 11 of the Canadian Election Act, not be a member of any other federal
00:03:39.820 party in Canada. And while registered as a liberal, not have any public, not have publicly declared an
00:03:46.440 intention to be a candidate for an election in the House of Commons, other than as a candidate of the
00:03:51.560 party. Most of that is like straightforward and normal. But two things that are wrong. Now,
00:03:58.440 the Conservative Party also does this. I don't have a problem with it. I think the NDP can be 13 years
00:04:02.480 old and vote in a leadership election. But you have to be 14 years old. And it says ordinarily
00:04:09.060 live in Canada or for Canadians living abroad, be qualified as a elector who may vote in accordance
00:04:16.300 with Part 11 of the Canadian Elections Act. So we could have a liberal leadership race in theory,
00:04:22.420 because I do not believe it's a riding by riding point system. We could have a liberal leadership
00:04:28.080 race where the replacement for Justin Trudeau is picked by a bunch of people in China. The leader
00:04:35.400 could be picked by a bunch of non-citizens, not even permanent residents, who are just like going
00:04:40.980 to universities in Canada, could be going to fake universities in Canada. Think about the amount of
00:04:46.640 fraud that is about to happen in this leadership race when the rules are that loose for selling
00:04:52.720 memberships. You just got to be 14 years old and have a pulse, basically. And ordinarily,
00:04:58.060 live in Canada. If you've thought about Canada, if you've ever had a dream and maple syrup was
00:05:06.120 involved in it, you're basically qualified to vote in a liberal party leadership race.
00:05:11.280 You may live on the island of Nauru. You may be in the Congo. You may be living in the breakaway
00:05:19.940 region of South Ossetia in Georgia, and you can still vote in this thing. You just have to be able
00:05:26.640 to register online. Maybe you've got to send a ballot in, but what stops you from basically
00:05:31.680 getting a bunch of random people in, you know, in Kenya to all sign up, like print off what you
00:05:38.600 need to vote, just tape all the ballots together and send it through FedEx and get it there within
00:05:43.860 a few days? What the, what's going on with the liberals? I want to know, dang it. Really what's
00:05:50.460 going on is foreign interference. They don't care. They don't mind foreign interests being involved
00:05:54.860 in the party. In fact, they basically declare that their membership, their whole like membership
00:06:01.740 philosophy is anti-discrimination, even though I think we should discriminate between serious
00:06:08.300 voters and not serious voters. You even have nominations in the Conservative Party. Heck,
00:06:12.700 I ran in one. Mine was fine in terms of the membership. The people who signed up pretty much
00:06:17.040 all wanted to be members. But you even in Conservative Party nominations every once in a while
00:06:21.580 get people who didn't actually get legitimately elected in the sense that they signed up a bunch
00:06:27.860 of people who were basically having ballots shoved in their hands. There is a few people who ended up
00:06:31.780 getting bounced out, replaced by actual candidates later, because it was just so obvious that this
00:06:36.620 person was not actually running based on the support of Canadian voters who would care about the
00:06:42.040 issues and care about the party. It's just somebody who walked into a temple one day and basically
00:06:46.680 required the entire membership of it to sign up for them because they all know him or something like
00:06:52.760 that, even though they have no clue about what the Conservative Party even stands for. But isn't this
00:06:57.320 also funny when we have the Nisikov report on foreign interference dropping on the 31st, but we're in a
00:07:03.620 current prorogation right now. I don't even think the report has to come out on January 31st.
00:07:09.000 I think the only significance of January 31st is that if we make it past January 31st, MPs who know what
00:07:18.860 are in the documents can technically talk about it. And I believe Independent MP Kevin Vaughn, which I don't
00:07:24.900 know why he's not in the Conservative Caucus right now. He's a great Canadian patriot. He is currently
00:07:30.300 sitting as an Independent. He should be a Conservative. But that guy is saying that after the 31st, he's going to say
00:07:35.800 whatever he thinks, he's going to bring up whatever he knows about foreign interference in Canada and
00:07:41.600 more good on him. But isn't this so funny that with that being one of the top non-economic issues in
00:07:48.440 Canada is the influence of the CCP and the Iranian regime and different Muslim Brotherhood front groups,
00:07:55.300 Calistani groups, and you do get other groups linked to India or linked to other countries that are trying
00:08:01.100 to influence our politics, that we're now going into a liberal leadership race with none of the
00:08:06.620 problems solved. We're just going to let it rip and assume things are going to be all right because in
00:08:11.380 this country, we're stupid. Anyways, so that's it for me today, guys. I will be back at another date to
00:08:18.800 talk through the most boring people that have ever existed who all, for some reason, want to be the
00:08:24.360 Liberal Party leader. I might make that a more edited video where, you know, I flash someone up on screen.
00:08:29.940 We're going to talk about Mark Carney now. And then it's just like, be sleeping in my chair
00:08:34.660 for like three minutes. And then it suddenly goes black. And it's like, now it's Anita Anand. And I'm
00:08:39.740 just like sleeping in like a different position because that's basically what that video is going
00:08:43.640 to be. All of these people are boring. That is their problem. They might as well have Justin Trudeau's
00:08:49.580 face tattooed onto their own face because they are all Justin Trudeau. They are just Justin Trudeau
00:08:55.160 mini-me's. I was just on Indian media a second ago. And that's what I was saying. None of these
00:08:59.840 people are qualified to lick stamps at a post office. They are all random followers who now
00:09:05.340 want to be the leader. They want to wear the, you know, they want to wear the big pants in this party.
00:09:10.140 Okay, guys, have fun. Let her rip. Anyway, so like this video, subscribe to the channel. Really
00:09:16.360 appreciate it. I'm trying to make it to 100,000 subscribers by December. A couple days ago,
00:09:22.020 or like, I guess like less than two days ago, we literally gained well more than a thousand new
00:09:26.840 subscribers in a single day. So subscribe to the channel, recommend it to anyone you know,
00:09:31.260 and I'll see you guys next time.
