00:00:00.000 I have a pretty incredible clip to play for you guys here today.
00:00:03.420 It's not every day that you just have a Liberal Party MP effectively come out and admit that his own government is deeply immoral and lacks any moral backbone.
00:00:13.700 Anthony Howe's father, the Liberal MP for Mount Royal, in this clip is reacting to the fact that the Liberal Party voted in favor of the NDP's motion
00:00:22.700 to basically call for a ceasefire in Gaza and then establish the state of Palestine,
00:00:28.940 which the entire implication of the motion is that Hamas and Islamic Jihad should run this new state of Palestine,
00:00:36.060 the terrorist organization that ended up killing 1,200 Jewish people in southern Israel. 0.99
00:00:42.560 And the NDP and a lot of Liberal MPs don't seem to give a crap. 0.99
00:00:46.200 They actually don't like Israel far more than they don't like terrorist groups murdering people. 0.99
00:00:50.980 And so Anthony Howe's father is suddenly caught out here, realizing that everyone around him is a psychopath.
00:00:57.680 Is this the first time you're actually kind of reflecting on your role within this party?
00:01:01.820 I mean, this has been going on for a number of months now.
00:01:03.740 There's been tensions in Canada, rising anti-70s, and you've seen your government struggle to sometimes
00:01:08.680 or, you know, come up with a position that satisfies everybody.
00:01:12.340 And you've kind of been at the forefront of this, but is this the first time you're actually kind of reflecting on your future here?
00:01:17.080 I think it's the first time in my parliamentary career that I've had a reflection like this,
00:01:23.780 where I truly felt last night that a line had been crossed.
00:01:30.340 When my party members got up and cheered and gave a standing ovation to Heather McPherson and the NDP,
00:01:36.620 I started reflecting as to whether or not I belonged.
00:01:43.220 And I will let you know further how I feel over the coming days for the moment.
00:01:47.360 I'm still there.
00:01:48.440 Like, I could definitely see Anthony Howe's father in the next month,
00:01:51.980 not crossing the floor to the conservatives.
00:01:53.940 He's still way too much on the hard left for the conservatives to accept him,
00:01:57.380 and I wouldn't want them to.
00:01:58.720 He has a lot of issues.
00:02:00.120 But Anthony Howe's father could definitely end up sitting as an independent.
00:02:03.300 I think in order to just gird up his reputation in the long run,
00:02:07.320 I don't think he can stick around in the Liberal Party anymore.
00:02:10.600 And in that clip, you can even tell, like, he's a seasoned politician.
00:02:13.980 It's not like this is his first term.
00:02:16.100 I think this is his second or third term right now.
00:02:18.500 He knows how to speak in front of cameras in press conferences and all that stuff.
00:02:22.140 He's chaired multiple committees.
00:02:24.120 And when I say he's also quite hard left,
00:02:25.720 he was one of the people who helped cover up the SNC-Lavalin scandal.
00:02:28.980 So I'm not letting him off the hook for any of that just because of this sort of, like, you know,
00:02:33.520 fairly raw clip of him actually being fairly open about the immorality of the Liberal Party.
00:02:38.160 But you can tell he's actually stuttering there, not quite knowing what to say.
00:02:42.620 And I think this is probably the first time that the man's probably truly been off script,
00:02:46.420 not being told by the Liberals what kind of talking points to use in front of the cameras.
00:02:50.880 He is genuinely considering a break with the Liberal Party.
00:02:54.080 And you wonder if even him just openly musing about the fact that he might not have a place in the Liberal Party anymore
00:03:00.560 is enough to have Justin Trudeau kick him out.
00:03:02.900 Because I guess Anthony Housefather didn't get the memo that even if you're a Jewish MP,
00:03:07.180 you're supposed to stump in favor of anti-Semitic terrorist groups like Hamas, Hezbollah, and Islamic Jihad.
00:03:13.780 And so, again, I don't think that he should go to the Conservatives.
00:03:16.780 He's far too hard left.
00:03:18.040 But I hope that Anthony Housefather now takes this moment in time, realizes the immorality of the Liberals in this situation,
00:03:26.200 the lack of moral backbone that would lead them to vote for a pro-terrorism motion by the NDP,
00:03:32.300 should make him reflect on whether or not he's done things in the past that were as immoral,
00:03:37.640 but just on a subject that didn't cut as deeply for him.
00:03:40.960 Because I've literally covered him doing fairly nasty stuff in the past,
00:03:44.960 not just the covering up of the SNC-Lavalin scandal by trying to kill the investigation in committee,
00:03:51.840 but he's done pretty offensive things in the past himself too.
00:03:55.080 And again, I'm not trying to then say undermine that his point against the Liberals in this situation is illegitimate.
00:04:00.300 It's perfectly legitimate.
00:04:01.940 But I think it's also legitimate for me to bring up things like this.
00:04:04.740 Anthony Housefather effectively trying to call a black U.S. Supreme Court justice, Clarence Thomas, an Uncle Tom,
00:04:12.540 because he voted to overturn Roe v. Wade.
00:04:15.460 He said that he wants to bring America back to pre-Civil War times, to basically antebellum slavery times.
00:04:22.940 So Anthony Housefather has been absolutely complicit in immoral attacks on other people
00:04:28.600 and has taken immoral stances on many issues. 0.80
00:04:31.480 And I hope that this moment of him realizing that Justin Trudeau and his party's caucus is utterly insane
00:04:38.460 is going to have him maybe come back and, you know,
00:04:42.340 maya culpa for a lot of the other things that he's done in the past.
00:04:46.160 And I think that especially for the Jewish community in Canada,
00:04:50.040 they have to get rid of pretty much every single one of these Liberal Party MPs 0.93
00:04:54.380 who supposedly stands up for the Jewish community,
00:04:56.820 yet will go and meet with people like Abbas in the West Bank, 0.99
00:05:01.240 the Palestinian Authority leader who pays terrorists to kill Jewish people in Israel,
00:05:06.000 and people like Yara Sachs went to go meet him, 0.71
00:05:08.520 and others like Marco Mendocino,
00:05:10.840 who voted for this motion because they lack spine.
00:05:14.120 You are not actually supporting the Jewish community as a Jewish MP
00:05:17.240 if at every turn you basically do everything you can
00:05:20.740 to ignore anti-Semitism in Canada
00:05:22.740 and to ignore anti-Semitic terrorism on an international stage. 0.99
00:05:26.300 Who gives a crap that Justin Trudeau told you to do it? 0.98
00:05:28.660 You actually have to have some morals at some point as an MP. 0.98
00:05:32.760 Anyways, that should be it for me today, guys.
00:05:35.220 I just quickly want to plug the fact that I, Wyatt Claypool,
00:05:38.060 am running for the Calgary-Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.
00:05:41.320 If you live on the west side of Calgary,
00:05:43.300 check if you live in this riding.
00:05:44.780 These are what the new boundaries will look like.
00:05:46.780 Buy a Conservative Party federal membership.
00:05:48.660 Anyone in your household, 14 years old and older,
00:05:50.740 can buy a membership and vote in the nomination.
00:05:53.320 And check out the website in the description below,
00:05:55.480 WyattClaypool.com.
00:05:56.740 And then you can also donate to myself
00:05:59.040 and the National Telegraph's legal fund.
00:06:01.460 This is Give, Send, Go link in the description.
00:06:03.280 We're being sued by a billionaire developer for no reason.
00:06:06.420 He has no evidence we defamed him.
00:06:08.140 He has nothing to actually go on.
00:06:09.980 Our entire article where he was mentioned in it a couple times,
00:06:14.440 everything about him was based off of Globe and Mail report
00:06:17.120 or public donation information that we get from Elections Canada.
00:06:21.460 But I guess that we still have to be sued into the floor by this guy.
00:06:24.500 But any money you can contribute really helps us out.
00:06:27.200 I've paid more than $26,000 into defending us.
00:06:30.320 So even giving us 50 bucks really helps lower the burden of costs on the team.
00:06:34.960 Anyways, that should be it for me today, guys.
00:06:37.180 Have a good one.
00:06:37.820 Thank you.
