The completely unhinged reaction to Conservative MP Leslie Lewis's petition proposing to remove Canada from the United Nation has been remarkable to watch. There's something about the UN that makes liberal politicians, journalists, and online leftists freak out when you say anything negative about it. And now with Lewis just proposing that maybe Canada doesn't benefit that much from the UN, and we should just, you know, leave? They're just in complete hysterics now. And their only tactic to argue back against Lewis has been just resorting to acting like whatever she's proposing is just so ridiculous it might lose prestige.

00:00:00.000 The completely unhinged reaction to Conservative MP Leslie Lewis's petition proposing to remove
00:00:05.600 Canada from the United Nations has been remarkable to watch. There's something about the UN that makes
00:00:11.200 liberal politicians, journalists, and online leftists absolutely freak out when you say
00:00:15.780 anything negative about it. And now with Lewis just proposing that maybe Canada doesn't benefit
00:00:20.400 that much from the UN and we should just, you know, leave, they're just in complete hysterics
00:00:25.340 now. And their only tactic to arguing back against Lewis has been just resorting to acting like
00:00:31.260 whatever she's proposing is just so ridiculous. Oh, it's ridiculous to remove us from the UN. We 0.95
00:00:35.860 might lose prestige. Oh, she's crazy. This just shows how extreme the poly of Conservatives have 0.99
00:00:41.480 become. How could people vote for Lewis and Halderman Norfolk, her home riding? This is all they've
00:00:46.460 actually been arguing. There's nothing to their argument. They're just saying that effectively
00:00:51.560 we've been in the UN a long time and removing us is radical and crazy. But here's just a cut to it.
00:00:58.080 This is what Leslie Lewis posted the other day that ended up causing this insane reaction. She said
00:01:03.000 over 60,000 Canadians have signed a petition calling on Canada to protect our national sovereignty by
00:01:08.460 withdrawing from the UN and its subsidiary organizations. The petition remains open for
00:01:12.820 signatures until February 7th. I absolutely support this petition and I will link it in the description of
00:01:18.440 this video below. I want you to all sign it. I think it's a great thing that people are actually
00:01:23.060 questioning the role of the UN these days. It's not because I think that the UN is like crazy powerful and we
00:01:28.520 have to fight back. It's crazy useless and it spreads terrible ideas. That's the real problem with it. And if 0.87
00:01:34.080 you agree with me and you happen to live in my riding Calgary Signal Hill, just a shameless plug
00:01:38.280 quickly, I am running for the Conservative Party nomination in Calgary Signal Hill. So if you live in the city of
00:01:44.180 Calgary, see if you live in the Calgary Signal Hill riding. And if you do buy a Conservative membership,
00:01:48.960 vote for me number one in your ballot if you want or people who would push to remove us from the UN.
00:01:54.640 Anyways, getting back to it, but this just petition that is not binding, it's just showing support that
00:02:00.620 Canadians don't want to be part of the UN. A lot of people are saying, well, it's only 60,000 people.
00:02:04.420 Do you know how hard it is to get anyone to notice a petition and sign it? 60,000 people is insane.
00:02:09.600 The left did the same thing to the Fieri petition calling for the Liberal MVP coalition government
00:02:16.740 to dissolve that it was only 260,000 people who signed it or like 80,000. It was crazy high.
00:02:22.940 And they're like, it's only like one, it's not even 1% of the country or it's like it's only one
00:02:27.520 and a half percent of the country. Like that's an incredibly big number of people to sign something
00:02:31.580 considering most people do not care about politics in their day-to-day lives. But cutting back to
00:02:36.700 everything that's been going on with Lewis, there was a lot of Liberal MPs and even ministers who
00:02:41.660 came out to attack her. So we have Ryan Turnbull here who says, Conservative frontbench, quote unquote,
00:02:47.640 shadow minister, is now advocating for Canada to withdraw from the UN. It's astonishing. And he
00:02:52.640 uses like a little blushing face, like it's so crazy. And then he says, it's astonishing how the
00:02:57.260 Conservative Party has become a haven for conspiracy theorists and extremists. Does Polioff endorse this
00:03:02.220 as an official Conservative position? Okay, what is the conspiracy theorist, like how is it conspiracy
00:03:08.800 theorist position to be against the United Nations? What does Canada get out of the UN? What does the
00:03:16.000 UN even do? How long has it been since the UN's done anything useful? None of these people actually
00:03:21.280 can answer any of these questions. It's just something that you're supposed to be a part of
00:03:24.580 because every country's on it, in terms of like the UN General Assembly. But isn't that a non-endorsement
00:03:31.440 of the UN? If any country can be a part of it, that pretty much shows that membership is completely
00:03:35.880 worthless. If Canada only has one vote on every single world event, same as Nauru, a tiny island,
00:03:43.320 or North Korea, I don't think that's exactly a club that Canada should want to be a part of.
00:03:47.940 And how much does Canada pay every single year in donations to be part of this United Nations club?
00:03:53.280 Well, at least it's $76 million. That's how much Canada directly donates to the functioning of the
00:04:00.040 UN every single year. And that does not count all the staff, all the other expenses Canada puts in
00:04:06.240 to having delegates who go to the UN to argue, to pay for hotels, all this stuff. And then we also
00:04:12.040 give money to the WHO and other UN subsidiaries. And we sign on to their worthless agreements saying
00:04:19.100 that we're going to reduce our emissions by whatever. It's this Agenda 2030 stuff, these pie-in-the-sky
00:04:24.420 leftist policy goals that for some reason Canada is supposed to take deeply seriously, even though it all
00:04:29.800 reads like it was put together by an 18-year-old college white girl taking sociology. It's worthless for us
00:04:35.880 to be on the UN, yet all these people are still just projecting ridiculousness with it. Oh, how could you 0.87
00:04:42.080 want to be part of the UN? And I would disagree with those who think, well, the UN controls the world just like
00:04:47.780 the WF. It really doesn't. Both organizations are worthless. What makes the UN and the WEF so toxic and the
00:04:56.140 WHO is that they basically do left-wing politicians' homework for them. Left-wing politicians, kind of like all
00:05:03.920 politicians to a certain extent, are very lazy. And when the UN and the WEF basically say, we'll just give you
00:05:09.820 whatever we do for our policy, and then you can run on it. A lot of people are lazy and dumb enough 1.00
00:05:15.320 to think, well, they're going to do my homework for me, and it was the UN and WF who proposed this 0.99
00:05:20.640 stuff. It sounds prestigious, so I can go run on it, and I'll immediately have an air of credibility.
00:05:25.840 These days, it's not that credible to run on anything that the UN or the WEF endorses. If anything,
00:05:31.140 it's a big non-endorsement, since it's always bloated big government solutions to problems that have
00:05:37.040 been tried before and failed, or they're just completely unhinged goals of trying to get to
00:05:43.140 net zero by 2030 like the Trudeau liberals are now trying to meet the goal of. It's unhinged. It's
00:05:52.020 just things that 18-year-olds come up with because they don't know how the world works yet. That's
00:05:56.680 the funny thing with Klaus Schwab at the WEF. He is the oldest 18-year-old white girl in college 0.65
00:06:01.900 because that is exactly how he thinks. He's like this hyper left-wing idealist who actually
00:06:07.220 seems to have figured out nothing about how the world or economics works throughout his entire
00:06:11.640 lifetime. But anyways, getting back to it, here's some other comments by leftists. This is Mark
00:06:17.060 Miller. He says, a Canadian was literally the author of the United Declaration of Human Rights,
00:06:22.340 and pure poly, it's team wants to scrap it and withdraw from the UN. Okay, I'm sorry. Yeah,
00:06:27.580 there is the UN Declaration of Human Rights, which I guess I would agree with a lot of the points. I
00:06:32.680 haven't really read it. I don't really care what's in it. It's from the UN. It's worthless.
00:06:36.440 Wasn't the UN the organization that let the Rwandan genocide go on? Wasn't the UN the worthless
00:06:42.480 organization that barely did anything in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the genocide there?
00:06:47.840 The last thing the UN sort of did confidently was holding back the North Korean army at the start of
00:06:53.900 the Korean War. And even then, if the UN forces weren't there, they would probably just been
00:06:57.900 replaced by American forces in the same, if not a larger strength of force. The Americans just assumed
00:07:04.080 that the UN said that they could handle it because, well, it's the United Nations. They must be
00:07:08.740 somewhat competent because it's all the nations together trying to hold back the, you know, the
00:07:13.160 sweep of communism. And that didn't end up working out very well. And the US still had to
00:07:17.840 bail out South Korea and the United Nations forces. Regardless, the UN does not care about human
00:07:23.520 rights. When North Korea, Equatorial Guinea, the Russian Federation, Communist China, Venezuela,
00:07:29.520 Iran, all these other dictatorships and radical terror states are on the UN, it's not a human 1.00
00:07:36.480 rights organization. They literally made Iran head of like a women's rights committee. This is a joke 0.98
00:07:43.020 organization. It is just a large collection of clowns sitting in a room. We should just like scrap the UN 1.00
00:07:49.420 for parts and then just sell it to a clown college because they're already part way there.
00:07:54.140 Regardless, what Leslie and Lewis is doing is just demonstrating that a lot of Canadians realize that
00:07:59.340 the dues that Canada pays to the UN are not worth it. The WHO's healthcare policy is worthless. They
00:08:05.920 literally covered up for the COVID-19 pandemic for China. This is not a trustworthy organization. 0.75
00:08:13.140 The guy who runs the WHO is a communist from Ethiopia who also ended up
00:08:17.420 covering up an Ebola outbreak. The guy's a nutcase who has no medical background. 0.90
00:08:22.840 Regardless, for some reason, again, as I keep going, all these leftists think that Lewis is 0.90
00:08:28.540 unhinged when they literally cannot justify a single unhinged UN resolution. They literally just had to
00:08:34.980 apologize for Canada voting against our ally Israel in its fight against a literal terrorist organization
00:08:40.400 because Canada condemned Israel for doing its job to protect its citizens. But here's Rob Oliphant saying,
00:08:47.200 surely Leslie and Lewis is not supporting Canada withdrawing from the UN. That's absurd and
00:08:51.680 dangerous coming from pure Polyev's front bench. Is this their new foreign policy? Abandon our
00:08:57.480 international obligations on human rights, women's rights, children, and so much more? Did these people
00:09:02.200 think that Canada did not have any sort of human rights, women's rights, like, you know, rights of
00:09:07.920 children legislation before we were part of the UN? Canada was just a lawless land of people going around
00:09:14.540 just shooting random women in the streets and, you know, like slavery and like, and like horrible
00:09:20.560 bigotry right before we joined the UN. No, the UN is just a cover organization for a bunch of
00:09:26.480 dictatorships pretending that they have commitments to good sounding things, good sounding things that
00:09:31.860 the UN has no power to actually achieve whatsoever. And again, the liberals have been some of the
00:09:38.020 weakest people when it comes to foreign policy. They are the ones that when Russia initially invaded
00:09:43.400 Ukraine in 2014, said nothing and made jokes about it, because they don't really care. They're the 0.89
00:09:48.000 ones who keep defunding our military. But I guess if we vote against war happening in the UN, that means
00:09:53.060 that war won't happen. Unlike all the other times we've done that and wars happened anyways. The UN
00:09:58.120 literally has a security council where Russia and China have vetoes and frequently veto any resolution
00:10:03.880 against even condemning wars that those two countries are either involved in or support.
00:10:09.920 This is not an organization that anyone should be taking seriously, as I keep saying. But like the
00:10:15.520 pylon has been nuts. Like Lion Advocacy here on Twitter points out just the amount of liberal
00:10:21.040 politicians who, as soon as Lewis just posted the fact that her petition was doing well, came out of
00:10:27.200 the woodwork all within the exact same hour. Seamus O'Regan, you know, Pam Damoff and a lot of the other
00:10:32.580 people I just already talked about, immediately unified in like supporting the United Nations.
00:10:38.620 No point to it. And then, of course, Luke LeBron over at the extra bowl press progress came out
00:10:44.660 to slam Lewis because some of the people pushing the petition are, you know, more conspiratorial
00:10:49.980 minded. I don't really like Mark Friesen very much, but Mark Friesen pumping this petition has nothing
00:10:54.840 is not wrong. He's allowed to. It's a good petition. Some other people there I might not agree with on
00:10:59.920 politics. I think they're more populist than I'm usually comfortable with. Same time, what's wrong
00:11:05.120 with the petition? They can't actually say what's wrong with Lewis's petition or how Canada will
00:11:09.660 practically suffer by not being part of the UN. Oh, we lose prestige on the world stage. Who cares?
00:11:15.300 It's not a prestigious organization if anyone can be on it. Notice it's just like the, it's the old
00:11:20.360 saying. You don't want to be, I don't want to be a part of a club that anyone can be a part of,
00:11:24.400 because that's not exactly prestigious in any way. And with Trudeau's Canada, all we've done is
00:11:29.820 embarrass ourselves in the UN over the last eight years. All we've done is undermine our own allies
00:11:34.040 and prove that we're complete hypocrites. And then we sign on to radical agreements that we end up 0.93
00:11:38.640 shaping our environmental and energy policy around and just damaging our economy with no benefit,
00:11:44.920 no benefit. It's not like the UN notices how hard the Canada's trying and then dumps money on us.
00:11:50.440 They're broke. We have to fund them. Okay. But anyways, I'm going to cut this off here because
00:11:55.860 it's just becoming a bit of a rant, but it just demonstrates just the absolute low brain power
00:12:00.700 that's taking, that's in the sort of the Canadian left to pretend as if somehow something bad's
00:12:07.160 happening because we were against a bloated, worthless international institution. Anyways,
00:12:13.440 that should be it for me today. I have my usual fundraiser fundraising link in the description
00:12:18.400 of this video below. That's the give, send, go links for my legal fund. I'm being sued by
00:12:22.260 a Chinese billionaire. It's a completely ridiculous lawsuit. He's just suing for the sake of it to see 0.99
00:12:27.760 if he could bleed us of cash and give him a fake apology over something that we were not only not
00:12:32.300 wrong about, but we had just reported something that Globe and Mail had already reported two years
00:12:36.720 beforehand, but he assumed he could bully us into giving him some sort of apology. Regardless,
00:12:42.200 we're going to press on, but if you want to donate, it really helps us fight back against ridiculous
00:12:47.020 lawsuits like this. And other than that, I'm also, again, just going to plug that I'm running for the
00:12:52.100 Calgary Signal Hill conservative nomination. So if you live in that riding, buy a membership, vote for
00:12:56.620 me number one on your ballot whenever the nomination date gets called, and I'll see you guys all in my
00:13:01.020 next video.
