In this episode, I talk about the ridiculous way that the Liberal Party is treating their opposition party, the Tories, and how to deal with it. I also talk about why the Liberals should stop criticizing each other so much, and why the opposition party should just tell us we're doing a great job.

00:00:00.000 Not often in politics do you see a party official come out and basically whine and cry about the fact that their opposition party is actually opposing them and criticizing them.
00:00:09.960 It really shows the state of the Liberal Party that they expect that the Conservatives should be patting them on the back the way the legacy media does.
00:00:17.860 Anyways, this is the Liberal House leader, Steve McKinnon, coming out and basically saying that the Conservatives shouldn't be criticizing them, and it's mean and it's rude, and why doesn't the opposition just tell us we're doing a great job?
00:00:29.140 It was clipped by True North, so thanks for True North, but watch this, it's quite incredible.
00:00:33.760 Do you want them to do an election platform? Like you want them to release what an election platform for the Conservatives would look like?
00:00:39.160 What a responsible opposition must do is obviously oppose, we understand that, we fully accept that, we're quite prepared for that, happy to deal with it.
00:00:48.480 But they must also propose solutions for Canadians, and I think Canadians are increasingly looking to Mr. Polyev to stop with his daily hectoring that borders on the ridiculous and come with some concrete proposals that would actually make a difference for Canadians in their daily lives.
00:01:06.180 It seems to be working for him, so are Canadians actually getting sick of it?
00:01:11.020 Canadians are absolutely telling me that they have no idea what Mr. Polyev, that they're scared.
00:01:16.440 I have constituents that come up to me every day and say, you have to stop this.
00:01:20.440 We don't like this creeping right-wing extremism that we're seeing coming in from the United States.
00:01:26.600 We don't like this kind of populist, angry conservatism.
00:01:30.120 What we're looking for are proposals, but what I want to hear as a citizen is something that's going to make my life better.
00:01:39.380 Okay, three things on this. 0.94
00:01:42.100 One, asking your opposition to stop criticizing you or opposing you as the opposition's entire job entails is very pathetic. 0.99
00:01:51.300 Never do it, you look embarrassing. 0.91
00:01:52.860 This is, of course, Steve McKinnon, the guy from that Mark Gerritsen last year's, like, the end-of-the-year press conference they did that was wildly embarrassing.
00:02:03.620 Anyways, that's number one.
00:02:05.260 Don't ask your opposition not to oppose you. 0.99
00:02:07.960 It looks really dumb. 0.86
00:02:09.760 And then two, he's like, well, why doesn't pure poly from the Conservatives come with constructive, like, you know, piece of legislation or ideas that could really help out Canadians? 0.96
00:02:18.560 Steve, Steve-o, Steve, the Conservatives keep proposing different cuts that the Liberals could make to spending to lower inflation.
00:02:28.360 They have proposed multiple times.
00:02:30.720 They were holding up all of your legislation at the end of the year last year in order to get the carbon tax paused on all home heating for three years.
00:02:40.300 They didn't even ask for the entire carbon tax to be paused wholesale. 0.75
00:02:43.680 They asked for very little that would help everyone, and you guys criticized them, whined and complained, and said that they're racist, sexist, homophobes who hate Ukraine and all this stuff.
00:02:55.520 You guys could have actually done something to help Canadians.
00:02:59.080 Polyev constantly talks about the different tax cuts, regulatory cuts that could be made, the different wasteful spending that could be removed, different pieces of legislation that are hurting Canada's economy that the Liberals have in place,
00:03:11.020 all the stopping the pipeline-type legislation and the Bill C-48 or 69 that stops, like, oil and gas from being able to be shipped off our West Coast, all this stuff.
00:03:22.740 The Liberals do not actually care about any constructive legislation ideas, and even the media in that clip, as sort of an addendum to point number two,
00:03:31.300 even they're like, well, it's working for Polyev to just criticize you to go up in the polls.
00:03:35.620 Even, guys, guys, Polyev has not just been criticizing.
00:03:38.920 Polyev has resorted to just criticizing because the Liberals will not actually accept any constructive criticism
00:03:45.480 or any just good ideas that they could maybe pass in the House in order to make Canada a better place to live for Canadians.
00:03:52.960 We've tried, and now we are just criticizing because there's nothing left to do.
00:03:57.000 And now point three, I always love it when politicians supposedly have one of their constituents or some random member of the public walk up to them and say,
00:04:06.920 Mr. McKinnon, can you stop the evil, mega, racist, right-wing conservatives in Canada?
00:04:13.020 Pure Polyev reminds me of Donald Trump and everything else that the Liberal Party has tried to accuse him of being. 0.67
00:04:18.900 Nobody actually talks like this in real life.
00:04:21.980 No one walks up to Liberals and just spouts Liberal talking points back to them.
00:04:27.000 Will you stop the crazy, far-right, mega-style conservatives?
00:04:32.660 Nobody said that.
00:04:33.520 The only people saying that are the Liberal Party's communications team.
00:04:36.920 Because no one thinks that the conservatives and Pierre Polyev are far-right. 1.00
00:04:40.300 That's just a stupid Liberal talking point. 0.97
00:04:42.560 Maybe this is why the conservatives are just criticizing you these days and not trying to help you on legislation. 1.00
00:04:49.060 Because you guys are insufferable. 0.87
00:04:50.240 You guys are basically accusing them of being evil, bigoted people. 0.64
00:04:54.060 And you're like, but why won't they come and help us on legislation? 0.99
00:04:56.900 Because you guys are awful. 0.99
00:04:58.280 Because you're horrible human beings to talk to. 1.00
00:05:00.340 You guys are just obviously not doing things in the best interest of Canadians. 0.96
00:05:05.060 And then criticizing other people for not helping you ramp up inflation.
00:05:08.680 The only thing that the Liberals think helps the economy is spending more.
00:05:11.840 Literally, our budget in 2014, 2015, our budget was $249 billion.
00:05:18.780 For the 2024 fiscal year, the Liberals are proposing a budget of around $449 billion.
00:05:26.200 Do we really think that we need to almost 100% increase our budget in a 10-year period?
00:05:32.940 No. 0.79
00:05:33.580 That's ludicrous.
00:05:34.500 But, you know, the Liberals think that somehow we're going to be able to get out of this inflation spiral by burning more money.
00:05:41.400 Although, literally, burning money would actually help. 0.99
00:05:43.520 I mean it in the sense that just spending on stupid stuff. 1.00
00:05:46.260 Ugh. 1.00
00:05:47.160 Anyways.
00:05:48.300 That's it for me today.
00:05:49.720 I've had enough of Liberal Party terrible communication strategies.
00:05:54.420 So, I will go back off into the woods where I came from to recover from this.

00:06:07.200 We are being sued by a Chinese billionaire.
00:06:09.880 He has no evidence we've said anything devamentary about him. 0.97
00:06:12.160 But he's just throwing money at us, hoping that he could get a stupid fake apology out of us to make it seem like everything that everyone says about him is false. 0.80
00:06:19.180 We literally reported stuff about him that other people had reported more than two years before us, far bigger publications. 0.84
00:06:25.720 But he's pretending that we are the originators of the information.
00:06:28.840 And also, he can't even prove that the information isn't true because it's not.
00:06:32.540 It is indeed true.
00:06:34.980 Whatever.
00:06:36.040 Anyways, if you want to donate to that, it really helps us out.
00:06:38.920 And then also, I, Wyatt Claypool, I'm running for the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.

00:07:18.600 And anyways, that should be it for me today.
00:07:20.320 Sorry for the rambling endings to these videos, but that's just how I operate.
