00:00:00.000 Hey guys, Wyatt Claypool here. So we have some breaking news in British Columbia politics.
00:00:06.980 There is a new political party in BC and it already has two seats. So you may know there
00:00:13.700 are three independent MLAs in BC politics because frankly the BC conservatives decided that whole
00:00:20.860 conservatism thing isn't that important to it and they've just been basically agreeing with the NDP
00:00:26.800 on all the fundamental issues of BC politics and just saying that there needs to be some
00:00:32.360 adjustments here or there or the healthcare system isn't being run properly without actually offering
00:00:37.740 those substantial reforms that need to be made to fix anything. Like the BC conservatives are now
00:00:43.260 pro-DRIPA and undRIP. They're pro-SOGI. They don't actually care about lowering taxes. They don't
00:00:49.300 really care about runaway spending. They just don't like that the runaway spending is being spent on
00:00:54.360 things they don't like rather than other things they do like. It's just meh. It feels like the
00:01:00.600 BC United party all over again. And full disclosure, I actually work in the legislature for one of these
00:01:07.600 MLAs part of the new party, Tara Armstrong, who is now part of the party 1BC being led by interim
00:01:14.700 leader Dallas Brody, the other MLA from the riding of Vancouver, Quilchina. This is going to be a lot
00:01:21.300 of fun. It's an actual conservative party pushing to try and reduce taxes under $100,000 by 50% and
00:01:28.300 25% on everything over that, including corporate taxes. Fully repeal SOGI. Fully repeal DRIPA.
00:01:35.360 Actually get stuff done. Even I hope in the future we're going to start going after bike lanes in
00:01:41.960 places like Vancouver and other BC cities that are clogging up thoroughfares and making it impossible
00:01:47.580 to go from one side of the city to the other. Bike lanes are fine in downtown areas. But my goodness,
00:01:54.100 when you're not even letting contractors get from one end of the city to the other because some guy
00:01:58.340 wants to burn 300 calories on the way to his HR job. Enough. Enough, everybody. Obviously, I don't make
00:02:06.060 policy for the party. I do speak mostly for myself at all times. But, you know, I'm excited for what 1BC
00:02:13.700 is going to do and, you know, hopefully, you know, actually reset BC politics. Because every time
00:02:21.360 it seems like any conservative party comes along, eventually it just falls into the miasma of left
00:02:27.600 wing politics in British Columbia and decides that, you know how all of our base wanted us to,
00:02:33.180 you know, lower taxes, you know, fight back against SOGI, stand for parental rights and get rid of DRIPA.
00:02:38.000 Well, that's all pass say now because now we're part of the Victoria cocktail circuit and all those
00:02:44.060 people like those things and we don't want to upset them. But one thing I want to head off at the pass
00:02:49.860 right away is the idea that this is going to split the vote. Guys, this is a poll that just came out
00:02:56.220 from Leger as of today. And this was conducted, I believe, like on May 25th or so with 1032 respondents.
00:03:08.100 And it shows currently that the BC NDP are leading the Conservatives by six points with the Green Party
00:03:14.360 having 11 and other with five. The BC Conservatives are only at 39 percent, having gotten 44 percent in
00:03:21.460 the last election because they have taken their foot off the gas. Not only that, they are driving
00:03:26.280 in the wrong direction. There's a reason why they ended up expelling Dallas Brody and causing Tara
00:03:32.840 Armstrong and Jordan Keeley to also leave because they they're not interested in that politics.
00:03:37.880 They're not interested in anything on the right. They want to be that wishy-washy centrist party that
00:03:45.080 basically stands for what the NDP does, but a little bit less. There's a reason why the Conservatives
00:03:50.900 literally ran on a 12 billion dollar deficit in the 2024 campaign because the people in the policy
00:03:57.400 department of the party aren't conservative. They don't know why we should value not having a deficit
00:04:02.480 or balancing budgets because they don't care about that thing in their own lives. So why should this
00:04:06.960 Conservative Party care about it? That is the problem we're running into. So when you guys see probably
00:04:12.980 next week or the week after that when 1 BC starts being added to polls and the Conservatives are behind
00:04:19.360 the NDP, don't believe the stupidity that, oh my goodness, 1 BC is splitting our vote and this is
00:04:26.500 why we would be 10 points ahead of the NDP if 1 BC didn't exist. No, they would not. Rustad missed on
00:04:33.420 an open net in 2024. And then after there was even some questions around certain ridings in the general
00:04:39.680 that could have been affected by some small-scale voter fraud, he just kind of quietly dropped that.
00:04:45.100 Why did he quietly dropped that? Why wasn't John Rustad backing up his candidate in Surrey Guilford,
00:04:52.240 Ahanvir Randhawa? Well, it appears like John Rustad actually looked at Surrey Guilford, thought
00:04:57.860 that's a good idea, and decided to rig his own party AGM. Yes, the Conservative AGM in March was rigged.
00:05:06.120 They literally bust in a hundred guys to go vote for the people that John Rustad wanted to be on his
00:05:11.020 board. They showed up late in the day, they voted, and then they left. It was a fake AGM. People paid
00:05:17.160 thousands of dollars to show up, get their hotels, get flights there, you know, take a bus, get the
00:05:21.680 ferry over, and they were overruled by a bunch of guys who were busting to simply vote for what John
00:05:27.520 wanted who could care less about the party. This is part of an announcement and part rant, but that's
00:05:33.120 pretty much all the videos I make. I'm going to say if you guys are interested, if you live in British
00:05:37.780 Columbia, I'd advise you to join the party. We actually are going to stand for, like, we're
00:05:42.860 actually going to, like, try and change politics in a fundamental way, not simply saying, well,
00:05:49.060 we're going to be the party that wants to cut taxes a little bit more. We're going to be the party that,
00:05:53.240 you know, maybe pushes a little bit harder for resource projects. It's like, no, everything needs
00:05:57.420 to just change. It's like why the Reform Party or the Alliance started in the 90s. That at one point,
00:06:04.400 it was not considered radical to cut taxes by 50%. That's what Gordon Campbell did in the 2000s,
00:06:11.300 and now it sounds unheard of, and people just think BC is the left-wing province and nothing's
00:06:15.760 going to ever get done. People in British Columbia are in many ways as conservative as people are in
00:06:20.600 Alberta, but they're always given stupid options to vote for run by people who don't actually have
00:06:26.540 any convictions to real principles. But now I just want to show you guys some other stuff that's going
00:06:31.420 on. And this is what I just wanted to quickly go over. There is a video that went along with the
00:06:36.780 launch that I will be linking in the description below and pinning at the top of the comments.
00:06:41.540 Again, check out the website. It's literally just numeral one, bc.ca. It is a very tight URL,
00:06:47.880 and it kind of foreshadows our attitude towards bureaucracy. We want everything to be super tight
00:06:54.760 and efficient. So I will be linking Dallas Brody's launch post in the description below.
00:07:02.080 But this is something that proves my point here about the conservatives. This is Mandeep Dhaliwal,
00:07:08.020 who is currently a BC conservative MLA, and he introduced Parental Transparency and Age-Appropriate
00:07:15.100 Education Act, which is ostensibly supposed to be against SOGI, but in fact is very endorsing of SOGI.
00:07:24.380 And my boss, who's fantastic, Tara Armstrong here, the MLA for, I always forget,
00:07:31.420 Kelowna, Lake Country, Cold Street. It's always a hard one to remember. She pointed out that in fact
00:07:36.600 this bill is completely soft on SOGI. Here is what Tara Armstrong said. During the campaign,
00:07:43.780 Rust had promised to get rid of SOGI. What does his parental rights bill actually offer? Another
00:07:48.720 mushy letdown. All the bill would do is set up committees to discuss whether school materials are
00:07:54.240 age-appropriate. It does not even mention gender ideology. It does nothing to address schools
00:08:00.980 concealing gender transitions from parents, schools allowing boys into girls' bathrooms,
00:08:05.640 schools indoctrinating kids with trans ideology in GSAs and pride clubs, school counselors encouraging
00:08:11.700 kids to socially transition with new pronouns or to chemically transition with puberty blockers
00:08:16.360 and cross-sex hormones. Parents want this garbage to stop. Why doesn't Rust Ted? Maybe he does, but there
00:08:22.100 are consequences to making trans rights activists like Eleanor Sturko and Alia Warbus your de facto
00:08:27.280 leaders in caucus, which is absolutely true. I have heard some stories about what it's like to deal with
00:08:32.860 Eleanor Sturko, and it's not pretty. She is a woke supremacist. Just to finish up this post here,
00:08:39.700 though, Tara finishes off and says, I mean, it's a private member's bill that is never going to get passed,
00:08:44.340 and they still couldn't even pretend to fight back against gender madness. How tragic that the
00:08:50.080 largest opposition caucus in BC's history found itself with such weak, woke leadership. Parents
00:08:55.900 deserve better, and sooner or later, courage and sanity will win the day. And that is what 1BC is
00:09:01.580 meant to do. I guarantee within the next year, you're going to see some BC conservative MLAs cross the
00:09:07.520 floor and join 1BC, because at some point it becomes really nerve-wracking and depressing to be part of
00:09:14.080 a party where you thought you were going to be able to stand up to all these things and, you know,
00:09:17.460 stand for conservative principles, but nah, nah, that's not what Alia Warbus and Eleanor Sturko and
00:09:24.020 Gavin do and Harmon Bangu want to do. You know, don't talk about all the Calistani nonsense in Surrey,
00:09:31.920 because if you do that, you're going to alienate the community. No, in fact, we're standing up to all
00:09:36.700 the Calistani nonsense. And in fact, both Hindu and Sikh groups are coming to us, like, because they are happy
00:09:44.800 that somebody is finally calling up this garbage. We are running a petition, dropdrippa.ca, to get rid of the
00:09:52.340 Declaration of the Rights of Indigenous People, which sounds positive, but is a way of not only making it so that
00:09:58.240 resource projects are just never going to get built in British Columbia, they're never going to get started, but it also
00:10:03.760 deprives Indigenous people of individual rights, because it means all title land is now subject to
00:10:09.740 socialistic ban councils. Indigenous people have as few rights as any other British Columbian on
00:10:15.880 Indigenous land, unless you are part of the vaunted ban council that gets to decide who apparently lives
00:10:22.760 and dies on their reserves. And I'm not even being that hyperbolic when I say that. In Haida Gwaii, or on Haida Gwaii,
00:10:29.400 they bulldozed people's homes because they were related to a drug dealer who I believe also murdered
00:10:35.520 somebody. But I'm not sure why you then get to go destroy the homes of people related to them just
00:10:41.860 because they're related. And the government did nothing. The BC government didn't, like, send in
00:10:46.520 helicopters and boats to show up and start arresting people and thinking and trying to track down who are
00:10:51.860 the people who drove the bulldozer into those homes. It's not their land. The ban council can do it.
00:10:56.940 The homeowners don't actually own the land their house is on. Ban council will just be like, we don't
00:11:01.180 want your house out here anymore and move it off. But yeah, this has been a bit of a long-winded rant
00:11:07.500 and an announcement. So hopefully I was successful in making you aware that 1BC is a thing. Again,
00:11:12.700 if you live in British Columbia, I'm also going to have it linked in the description below and pinned
00:11:17.440 to the top of the comments. 1BC.ca, check it out. We're actually trying to do conservative things in
00:11:23.620 British Columbia, change the culture, move the Overton window back over to the right in BC and
00:11:29.500 do some common sense things like, you know, deregulate, cut taxes, you know, all those
00:11:34.600 things that for some reason the conservative party just thinks is a cute idea. And then they ran on a
00:11:39.640 $12 billion deficit. At their AGM, I'm not even kidding, there was a fireside chat where two of the
00:11:44.820 BC conservative MLAs just sat on the stage and just talked about why we need to make spending more
00:11:50.180 efficient. No, there's too much spending. They don't care. They don't actually care about cutting
00:11:56.920 spending. That's right wing and gross. They just want to, you know, take the bloated amount of
00:12:02.280 spending and spend it better. What? And this is what I hate about certain types of conservatives like
00:12:09.860 red Tories, like super, super hardcore red Tories where they're effectively just liberals. All they live
00:12:14.680 for is just balancing liberal or spending or managing liberal or NDP budgets better than they
00:12:20.720 would. Not actually fundamentally changing anything, just spending the money on the same nonsense a little
00:12:26.340 bit more efficiently. But anyways, that should be for me today, guys. Remember to subscribe to the
00:12:32.020 channel, like this video, leave a comment, and I will be back no doubt in the future to talk more
00:12:37.820 about 1BC, what's going on in the BC political landscape. And by the way, watch out for Rebel News because
00:12:43.740 they should be coming out with a report soon on all the AGM shenanigans back in March at the BC
00:12:49.560 conservative AGM because Rustad doesn't actually like his grassroots supporters. And so he basically
00:12:55.560 hired a bunch of people to make sure that their votes didn't count. Anyways, see you guys later.
