Parental rights are still pretty popular in Canada, despite the massive propaganda campaign by the political left. In this episode, I talk about the recent polling results, and why you should not be worried about parental rights being attacked by the left.

00:00:14.820 it seemed like the left mobilized even harder on the issue,
00:00:18.280 knowing that polling was probably coming down the line regarding parental rights,
00:00:22.400 and they were hoping that if they pushed hard enough on it, fear-mongered enough,
00:00:26.240 lied enough about what parental rights was that they could get people to be against the concept.
00:00:31.040 But I think what the left never really considered is the fact that people actually like their kids,
00:00:35.980 and they're not just going to believe left-wing propaganda about the idea that parental rights are somehow evil, nasty,
00:00:41.860 and it's trying to hurt vulnerable children or whatever.

00:01:18.960 and I don't even think these poll questions are very well done.
00:01:21.380 I actually think that they end up siding more with the anti-parental right side
00:01:24.900 the way that they're framed, but most people are still not falling for it.
00:01:28.280 So this is the poll result that was best for the political left,

00:01:41.700 and challenge the passage of any legislation that may limit

00:01:51.240 That is their best result, and they're only at neutral on it.
00:01:54.200 And the entire question is framed in such a way
00:01:56.860 as to make it seem like the provinces are doing something nasty,
00:01:59.760 and should the federal government ride to the rescue of transgender youth?
00:02:04.040 Obviously, that's not actually what's going on,
00:02:06.280 but even in that framing, 37% of people said,
00:02:09.260 no, the federal government should not get involved,
00:02:11.280 and 26% who were probably unsure were probably confused
00:02:14.260 by the way that the question was phrased.
00:02:16.440 But anyways, here's another one.

00:02:19.700 When it comes to the use of puberty blockers slash hormone therapies
00:02:22.560 for the purpose of gender reassignment slash affirmation,
00:02:25.860 they should be prohibited for those under 18 unless they are already started.
00:02:29.220 42% of people said that, basically saying,
00:02:31.640 please ban the practice overall.
00:02:32.940 Well, 26% said they should be permitted for those under 15
00:02:36.440 and on a case-by-case basis with parental consent.
00:02:39.900 That's softly pro-parental rights,
00:02:41.740 and I guarantee most of those people are going to move
00:02:44.040 to the position of just saying get rid of it entirely.
00:02:47.540 And then the last,
00:02:48.600 and then only 11% of people say
00:02:50.060 they should be permitted for those under 15
00:02:52.120 and on a case-by-case basis without parental consent.
00:02:55.140 That is the anti-parental rights position,
00:02:57.240 and it only has 11% of Canadians supporting it.

00:03:32.420 So there's literally at least 24% of Canadians

00:03:39.440 mature teens may choose to commence puberty blockers,
00:03:42.120 hormone therapies without the need of parental approval,

00:03:48.640 And even then, that's kind of a skewed poll question
00:03:51.080 because the left believes you shouldn't have to need

00:03:54.940 if you're a teenager wanting to undergo

00:04:21.200 sexual orientation, or human sexuality,
00:04:24.300 which approach do you feel is most appropriate?
00:04:26.620 Parents must be notified opt-in in any instances.
00:04:29.500 That's 32%.
00:04:30.580 Parents must be notified but not required opting in.
00:04:33.520 That's 27%.
00:04:34.680 And parents need not to be notified
00:04:36.700 is only 24% of respondents.
00:04:39.200 And let me make it very clear.
00:04:41.420 The left's position is the last one
00:04:43.540 that the school should be able to teach

00:04:45.920 and they shouldn't even have to notify you.

00:05:47.460 are not only a result of some sort of iffy questions,
