The National Telegraph - Wyatt Claypool - The latest NDP⧸Liberal propaganda campaign failed!

00:00:00.000 I am happy to report that polling shows, despite the massive propaganda crusade that the political left undertook against parental rights,

00:00:07.840 that parental rights are still pretty popular in Canada.

00:00:10.760 Ever since Alberta Premier Daniel Smith proposed her strong parental rights legislation,

00:00:14.820 it seemed like the left mobilized even harder on the issue,

00:00:18.280 knowing that polling was probably coming down the line regarding parental rights,

00:00:22.400 and they were hoping that if they pushed hard enough on it, fear-mongered enough,

00:00:26.240 lied enough about what parental rights was that they could get people to be against the concept.

00:00:31.040 But I think what the left never really considered is the fact that people actually like their kids,

00:00:35.980 and they're not just going to believe left-wing propaganda about the idea that parental rights are somehow evil, nasty,

00:00:41.860 and it's trying to hurt vulnerable children or whatever.

00:00:45.060 Anyways, but before I go into what the polling says,

00:00:47.740 I just want to do one quick shameless plug that I, Wyatt Claypool,

00:00:51.920 am running for the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.

00:00:54.720 Yes, I am pro-parental rights.

00:00:56.640 I want a parental bill of rights passed on the federal level.

00:00:59.700 So if you live in this part of Calgary, please buy a Conservative Party membership,

00:01:04.000 vote for me number one on your ballot,

00:01:05.420 and check out my website in the description below, wyattclaypool.com.

00:01:09.720 Sorry for that.

00:01:10.340 I do need to try and fit that into every video,

00:01:12.540 especially near the start, because I don't think most people watch to the very last second.

00:01:16.420 Anyways, here is what the recent polling shows,

00:01:18.960 and I don't even think these poll questions are very well done.

00:01:21.380 I actually think that they end up siding more with the anti-parental right side

00:01:24.900 the way that they're framed, but most people are still not falling for it.

00:01:28.280 So this is the poll result that was best for the political left,

00:01:31.520 and it's even not that good still.

00:01:33.760 It reads, and all these are from Ledger,

00:01:35.380 Do you feel the federal government should intervene in provinces

00:01:38.700 that are introducing policies regarding transgender youth

00:01:41.700 and challenge the passage of any legislation that may limit

00:01:44.540 slash restrict the ability of children to transition?

00:01:47.760 Yes, said 37.

00:01:49.020 No, said 37.

00:01:50.180 Unsure, 26.

00:01:51.240 That is their best result, and they're only at neutral on it.

00:01:54.200 And the entire question is framed in such a way

00:01:56.860 as to make it seem like the provinces are doing something nasty,

00:01:59.760 and should the federal government ride to the rescue of transgender youth?

00:02:04.040 Obviously, that's not actually what's going on,

00:02:06.280 but even in that framing, 37% of people said,

00:02:09.260 no, the federal government should not get involved,

00:02:11.280 and 26% who were probably unsure were probably confused

00:02:14.260 by the way that the question was phrased.

00:02:16.440 But anyways, here's another one.

00:02:18.460 This question reads,

00:02:19.700 When it comes to the use of puberty blockers slash hormone therapies

00:02:22.560 for the purpose of gender reassignment slash affirmation,

00:02:25.860 they should be prohibited for those under 18 unless they are already started. 0.57

00:02:29.220 42% of people said that, basically saying,

00:02:31.640 please ban the practice overall.

00:02:32.940 Well, 26% said they should be permitted for those under 15 1.00

00:02:36.440 and on a case-by-case basis with parental consent.

00:02:39.900 That's softly pro-parental rights, 0.95

00:02:41.740 and I guarantee most of those people are going to move

00:02:44.040 to the position of just saying get rid of it entirely.

00:02:47.540 And then the last,

00:02:48.600 and then only 11% of people say

00:02:50.060 they should be permitted for those under 15 0.99

00:02:52.120 and on a case-by-case basis without parental consent.

00:02:55.140 That is the anti-parental rights position,

00:02:57.240 and it only has 11% of Canadians supporting it.

00:03:02.080 Here's another one.

00:03:03.040 It says,

00:03:03.540 When it comes to the question of more mature teens,

00:03:06.260 I assume that they're talking about 15, 16, and 17-year-olds.

00:03:09.800 When it comes to the question of more mature teens

00:03:11.920 and the use of puberty blockers slash hormone therapies

00:03:14.200 for the purpose of gender reassignment slash affirmation,

00:03:17.300 35% of people say puberty blockers slash hormone therapies

00:03:21.240 should not be allowed for those under 17. 1.00

00:03:23.960 24% say mature teens may only choose

00:03:26.460 to commence puberty blockers slash hormone therapies

00:03:28.840 with parental, physician, and psychological approval.

00:03:32.420 So there's literally at least 24% of Canadians

00:03:34.880 want three layers of approval.

00:03:37.160 And even only 23% of Canadians say

00:03:39.440 mature teens may choose to commence puberty blockers,

00:03:42.120 hormone therapies without the need of parental approval,

00:03:44.620 but still need approval for a physician

00:03:46.740 and psychological professional.

00:03:48.640 And even then, that's kind of a skewed poll question

00:03:51.080 because the left believes you shouldn't have to need

00:03:53.440 anyone's approval but your own

00:03:54.940 if you're a teenager wanting to undergo

00:03:57.060 sort of gender reassignment

00:03:58.760 or to take different hormones.

00:04:01.300 Even the left's actual position

00:04:03.600 was not included in that,

00:04:04.880 which is truly radical.

00:04:06.720 And again, if these polling questions

00:04:08.120 were done a little bit better,

00:04:09.300 I think that people would even be more

00:04:11.460 on the pro-parental rights side.

00:04:13.800 Here's the last one.

00:04:14.700 It said, when it comes to teachers

00:04:16.240 in secondary school providing a formal instruction

00:04:18.780 on subjects involving gender identity,

00:04:21.200 sexual orientation, or human sexuality,

00:04:24.300 which approach do you feel is most appropriate?

00:04:26.620 Parents must be notified opt-in in any instances.

00:04:29.500 That's 32%.

00:04:30.580 Parents must be notified but not required opting in.

00:04:33.520 That's 27%.

00:04:34.680 And parents need not to be notified

00:04:36.700 is only 24% of respondents.

00:04:39.200 And let me make it very clear.

00:04:41.420 The left's position is the last one

00:04:43.540 that the school should be able to teach

00:04:45.080 whatever they want

00:04:45.920 and they shouldn't even have to notify you.

00:04:48.380 And again, I think even the people thinking that,

00:04:50.960 yes, they should be able to teach it,

00:04:52.140 but they should have to notify me.

00:04:53.700 Those people over time,

00:04:55.000 when they know what some of these school systems

00:04:56.940 want to teach,

00:04:57.700 are going to go to the point where they say,

00:04:59.700 no, it must be also opt-in.

00:05:01.300 And better yet, stop teaching it entirely.

00:05:05.780 The left's position is so radical on this issue,

00:05:08.680 it doesn't matter how much they lied or fear-mongered,

00:05:11.280 pretending this is going after vulnerable kids

00:05:13.220 and all this other stuff,

00:05:14.240 or the concept of parental rights doesn't even exist.

00:05:16.800 The left's position was so obviously

00:05:19.080 a big government sort of seizing of parental rights,

00:05:23.380 of parental power in the family relationship,

00:05:25.680 that even people who might vote liberal or NDP

00:05:28.520 had swung against it.

00:05:30.500 Seven or eight months ago,

00:05:31.440 the polling showed 78% of people across Canada,

00:05:34.500 not just in Alberta, across Canada,

00:05:36.720 were in favor of parental consent

00:05:38.420 or notification being needed

00:05:40.180 for a child to identify as opposite gender pronouns.

00:05:44.740 I think that what we are seeing

00:05:46.340 with these polling results

00:05:47.460 are not only a result of some sort of iffy questions,

00:05:50.980 not really phrased in the right way,

00:05:52.520 but the three-week propaganda effort

00:05:54.740 undertaken by the left.

00:05:56.240 The fact that they weren't able

00:05:57.560 to become the majority opinion

00:05:59.380 in this poll after three weeks

00:06:00.900 of mass propaganda is really telling.

00:06:03.860 And in another three to six weeks,

00:06:05.840 I guarantee the parental rights position

00:06:07.620 will have become more popular

00:06:09.160 after the effects of the propaganda

00:06:11.740 sort of campaign undertaken by the left

00:06:13.900 kind of start to wear off.

00:06:15.440 You know, you can do this in politics

00:06:17.480 where even if people generally,

00:06:19.980 you know, want to lower taxes,

00:06:21.840 if you go on a massive propaganda campaign,

00:06:24.200 if we lower taxes and we don't raise taxes,

00:06:26.160 services are going to, you know,

00:06:28.600 basically evaporate,

00:06:30.060 you know, Canada's going to become a hellhole.

00:06:32.260 There's not going to be any police and whatnot.

00:06:33.880 You can get people to be on the side

00:06:36.240 of not lowering taxes or raising them.

00:06:38.420 But, you know, after that propaganda effort ends,

00:06:40.940 people are going to go back

00:06:41.920 to their normal position of thinking,

00:06:43.400 yeah, taxes are too high in this country.

00:06:45.160 You can only keep people agreeing

00:06:47.640 with your radical position for so long.

00:06:49.940 And the left does not have the political capital

00:06:52.160 to stay focused on this issue

00:06:53.880 and keep hammering away

00:06:55.520 at the parental rights concept.

00:06:57.820 They were going to lose.

00:06:59.280 And this is demonstrating

00:07:00.300 what the polling looks like

00:07:01.400 after their most intense,

00:07:03.580 you know, fire being trained

00:07:05.780 on parental rights.

00:07:06.980 So I think that we're pretty safe

00:07:08.680 as Canadians that the left

00:07:09.720 is not going to be able

00:07:10.680 to win this debate.

00:07:11.980 Anyways, that should be it for me today.

00:07:14.080 Just reminding people,

00:07:15.460 again, why Claypool?

00:07:16.560 I'm running for the Calgary Signal Hill

00:07:18.660 conservative nomination.

00:07:19.580 The website I have is in the description below,

00:07:22.640 why at claypool.com.

00:07:24.020 And then also I have my Gifts and Go campaign

00:07:26.580 also linked in the description below.

00:07:28.700 It's for the TNT legal fund.

00:07:30.980 We have a developer suing us for defamation,

00:07:34.020 even though we never defamed him at all.

00:07:35.920 He has no evidence we defamed him.

00:07:37.340 And our guest writer who mentioned him

00:07:38.880 in an article based all the information on him

00:07:41.520 on a Globe and Mail article

00:07:43.100 that had already been out

00:07:44.060 for almost two years up to that point. 0.96

00:07:46.460 It's a very silly lawsuit. 0.74

00:07:47.920 He has no actual point. 0.96

00:07:49.400 He's just trying to bully us

00:07:50.760 into giving him a fake apology

00:07:52.540 so he can pretend everything ever said about him

00:07:55.080 is somehow disputed or wrong,

00:07:57.500 even though we weren't even

00:07:58.660 the original people to repeat it.

00:08:00.520 But that's just how courts go in Alberta. 1.00

00:08:02.560 There's no anti-slap legislation 0.58

00:08:04.000 for us to demand that a judge

00:08:05.720 just throw this out of court.

00:08:07.180 So we've been forced

00:08:07.940 to sort of suffer through this.

00:08:09.420 I'm $25,000 in the hole fighting this.

00:08:11.780 So any money you can give to that legal fund

00:08:13.880 really helps me out.

00:08:15.300 But other than that,

00:08:16.580 you know, that's it for me today.

00:08:18.260 I'll probably come up with another video later

00:08:19.960 or a live stream.

00:08:21.040 I'm not even kidding.

00:08:21.900 This video probably took me about 96 tries

00:08:24.080 to re-record it.

00:08:25.120 I've had way too much coffee today

00:08:26.640 and my head was buzzing

00:08:27.880 while I was trying to think of things

00:08:29.840 to say in the correct order.

00:08:31.420 Like I was slurring my words so much

00:08:33.060 during this thing.

00:08:34.120 I need to go get a cup of tea.

00:08:35.840 I don't know why you people need to know this,

00:08:37.800 but this is just me working the caffeine

00:08:39.180 out of my system right now.

00:08:40.620 Anyways, have a good one, guys.

00:08:41.600 Grave.

00:08:42.100 Thanks.

00:08:42.680 Friends.

00:08:42.800 Bye.

00:08:43.300 Bye.

00:08:47.380 Bye.

00:08:50.980 Bye.

00:08:51.560 Bye.

00:08:52.620 Bye.

00:08:55.100 Bye.

00:08:57.500 Bye.

00:08:57.920 Bye.

00:08:58.420 Bye.

00:08:59.020 Bye.

00:09:00.400 Bye.

00:09:03.280 Bye.
