00:03:13.660 advisor to Polya, was a lobbyist for Loblaws and Melissa Lansman worked for Walmart. Okay. So what
00:03:20.200 are conservative policies going to increase prices on the shelves or decrease them? The thing is that
00:03:26.700 well, the conservatives are opposing these restrictive policies on grocery store pricing,
00:03:31.440 like the grocery store bill of rights or customer bill of rights or whatever the liberals
00:03:35.080 and NDP are pushing because they only will actually increase prices. When you put more
00:03:40.280 restrictions on what grocery stores can increase prices on, the grocery stores will just have to
00:03:45.460 increase prices somewhere else. It's the way rent control ends up working. Yes, you can make sure that

00:04:11.320 of 2022, they actually made record profits. They didn't, they had to sell a gas station chain that they
00:04:18.040 also owned in order to make up for the losses that they're facing in other parts of their business. So in the
00:04:23.740 fourth quarter of 22 or whatever the quarter was, they made record profits because they did a one-time
00:04:29.620 sale of a gas station chain that they will no longer generate money from. But then you have Mark
00:04:34.880 Gerritsen also putting out stuff like this, a breaking conservative party drops a new logo and
00:04:40.300 it's like the Law of Laws logo in the middle of the conservative C logo. Okay, Mark, whatever. Super
00:04:47.060 funny, man. It's actually you guys who've been benefiting large grocery store chains the most. If you
00:04:52.940 demonize large grocery store chains so much, then you're the one to blame for them being so bad,
00:04:57.960 supposedly. You guys are the ones who keep rising minimum wages that benefit large chains who can
00:05:02.960 handle the increased costs. You guys are the ones who pass regulations that large chains are able to
00:05:08.200 deal with because they have massive administrative teams and a lot more employees to handle these sort of
00:05:14.060 nitty gritty kind of regulations. It's actually the 20% of the market that is made up of small grocery
00:05:20.380 store chains that are always damaged the most. When new laws come into effect, new regulations, they have to
00:05:25.960 follow new codes, new minimum wage laws, all these labor laws. It's the Walmarts, it's the superstores,
00:05:32.540 it's the Loblaws chains, it's Safeway, it's Sobeys who can deal with these changes the best. You guys are
00:05:38.700 to blame for this issue, actually. And you guys are a bunch of putzes for like sitting around thinking,
00:05:44.120 oh, it's the conservatives protecting the grocery store chains. The conservatives do not have a majority
00:05:48.900 government right now. If you haven't noticed, it's actually the liberals and the very anti-corporate
00:05:54.220 NDP or supposedly anti-corporate because the NDP actually believe in the ideology of corporatism.
