Justin Trudeau invited a World War II veteran from Ukraine to a party thrown by his own office to an event in Toronto, and the Liberals tried to blame it on Anthony Roda. But a new report from the Globe and Mail points the finger at the Prime Minister's Office.
00:00:00.000Remember several months ago when the former Liberal House Speaker Anthony Roda was thrown under the bus at mock speeds after he invited a Nazi SS soldier into Parliament and got the entire room to give him a standing ovation?
00:00:13.000I hope you do. So that Nazi soldier, Jaroslav Hunka, while yes, he was invited to Parliament by Mr. Anthony Roda, at the same time, he was also invited to a separate event in Toronto by Justin Trudeau's prime ministerial office themselves.
00:00:29.000Had nothing to do with Anthony Roda. Roda did not recommend that they invite him to this other event.
00:00:34.000He was just invited by the prime minister's office in such a way where it made it very clear that it was he specifically that they wanted to show up to this event.
00:00:43.000But before I get to that, I just want to quickly play the clip to remind you all of this most embarrassing event that happened in Parliament.
00:00:50.000We have here in the chamber today Ukrainian Canadians, Ukrainian Canadian world veteran from the Second World War who fought the Ukrainian independence against the Russians and continues to support the troops today, even at his age of 98.
00:01:54.000Anyways, I'm going to cut that off right there, but he talks about him being a Ukrainian soldier in World War Two.
00:02:07.000And I guess it just shows that our liberal education system is failing a lot of us that Anthony Roda himself didn't assume didn't think World War Two Ukrainian soldier and think, huh, he must either be a Nazi or be a communist who both probably murdered many people for no reason other than either racial or ideological reasons.
00:02:27.000Anyways, but the entire narrative that the liberals tried to generate about that was it was a mistake.
00:03:01.000Well, a new report has come out from the Globe and Mail saying that the it was Justin Trudeau's office themselves.
00:03:08.000Four days before this, who had invited Mr. Jaroslav Junka to another event in Toronto is a reception at Ford.
00:03:17.000I'm just trying to I'm pulling up the article here to see what it was.
00:03:19.000But they literally said it was the it was an invitation in quotes, an invitation for the Prime Minister of Canada, September 22nd, 2023.
00:03:27.000And it says, Dear Jaroslav Junka, the Right Honorable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada, is pleased to invite you to a special event.
00:03:34.000The event will take place on Friday, September 22nd, 2023 at 830 p.m. in Toronto, Ontario.
00:03:41.000And it was at like Fort York in Toronto, Ontario.
00:03:44.000Yeah, the this is this was the Mr. Junka was fully part of the prime minister's like plans in order to ferry Mr. Zelensky around the country and impress him with his his deep and abiding support of of Ukraine.
00:04:00.000And in the process of doing so, he brought along a man who in World War Two would have murdered someone like Vladimir Zelensky because Zelensky is a Jewish Ukrainian, someone that the Waffen SS was usually not big fans of.
00:04:13.000So, yeah, this is something that's incredibly embarrassing for the country.
00:04:17.000And it was very weaselly of the prime minister in his office to pretend like that this was all Anthony Rota's fault.
00:04:23.000If anything, Anthony Rota has a far smaller budget to do background checks on everyone he invites.
00:04:29.000Yes, a third grader should know that a World War Two veteran from Ukraine is probably not a cool person.
00:04:35.000At the same time, I think that it's more of the prime minister's fault that the office of protocol and procedure or whatever it was that was invited him that the specific part of Justin Trudeau's executive office that sent out the invite, they should know who they're inviting.
00:04:51.000Yes, this isn't technically Justin Trudeau's fault specifically, but it just demonstrates the sort of clown show government that he's running at the moment.
00:04:59.000Anyways, that should be it for me today. I just want to quickly plug the fact that I, Wyatt Claypool, am running in the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.
00:05:07.000The riding looks like this. If you live in the west side of Calgary, buy a membership, check out my website in the description, WyattClaypool.com.
00:05:14.000And if you know anyone in the riding, even if you don't live there, get them to sign up and buy a membership.
00:05:19.000It really helps make sure that we have real conservatives representing conservative ridings.
00:05:22.000And then also, I also have the give, send, go link in the description of this video for the legal fund for myself and the National Telegraph.
00:05:30.000We're being sued by a Chinese billionaire who is a developer. He's trying to sue us for defamation.
00:05:35.000He has no evidence we've defamed him. Our article that where we mentioned him, the article wasn't even purely about him.
00:05:40.000But the article that we mentioned him in, we based all of the information about him either off of his donation records to Aaron O'Toole,
00:05:46.000which are objective facts that he cannot say are defamatory.
00:05:50.000And then a previous article written by the Globe Mail that was very long and showed all of his connections that were less than savory.
00:05:57.000So we didn't even say anything unique. We were just talking about him in the context of a different story that we were sort of covering.
00:06:04.000And so far, I guess he thinks this is defamatory.
00:06:08.000Really, he just thinks he has a lot of money and can overwhelm us in court.
00:06:12.000So if you guys can donate anything to this initiative or this effort to, you know, be able to pay for our legal walls, it really helps us out with less of a burden on us.
00:06:20.000I've paid over $25,000 so far. So even $10 really helps me out here.
00:06:24.000Anyways, that should be it for me today. And I'll be back with another video or live stream in the future.
