Dallas Brody, the new leader of the BC Tory leadership campaign, was on campus at the University of British Columbia. She was heckled, heckled and heckled until she was forced to flee into the aquatic centre to escape.
00:00:00.000Two days ago, 1BC leader, Dallas Brody, reestablished herself on the campus of UBC as the only politician that matters in BC provincial politics.
00:00:11.000It's remarkable to me, as somebody who even works for 1BC, how much we are currently eating the BC Conservatives' lunch right now as a very small party.
00:00:21.280We're already at 9.5% in the polls simply because the BC Conservatives are having a massive identity crisis and are trying to regress back to the BC Liberals.
00:00:32.960There is a BC Conservative leadership race going on right now where there are seven declared candidates and another three or four people who might enter the race.
00:00:42.140And most of the commentary I've been hearing from people who are actually interested in following the race is that they want to see more people enter because they don't like any of the people who have currently declared.
00:00:54.820If you have seven people already in the race and nobody really likes any of them, at best, one of them has said some good things in the past, but it's pretty difficult to actually find any recent statements of theirs that would encourage you into thinking that they're an actual Conservative.
00:01:11.440But in this video today, I want to take you guys through some of the chaos that unfolded at the campus of the University of British Columbia and the complete non-response from any of the BC Conservative leadership candidates.

00:01:33.800They want to have some mildly fiscally conservative positions, condemn some left-wing radicalism in the schools, and hope that everyone just sort of forgets about the fact that they've baited and switched people multiple times in the past.
00:01:49.020We need to bring back the Free Enterprise Coalition, guys, as if somehow Christy Clark is going to become in vogue again in British Columbia anytime soon.

00:04:32.560Eventually, Dallas Brody, 1BC, Francis Whittowson, and the supporters had to actually escape into the aquatic center on campus and had to have security block the doors.

00:04:55.100We had people, like, I wasn't specifically there, but our team had people using noisemakers in people's ears and megaphones.

00:05:12.260And by the way, if you live in British Columbia, sign our petition to defund the University of British Columbia.
00:05:18.540Because if you can't facilitate free speech and open discussions on your campus, you should not get the $1.1 billion they get from BC taxpayers every year.
00:07:00.600He is a fan of Hamas and Hezbollah, and he was actually denying and saying he doesn't care if rapes occurred during the October 7th massacre of Israelis and other people by Hamas.

00:07:18.080But if you deny something that genuinely did not happen, as in the murder of 215 children in Kamloops, then you're a denier.

00:07:48.980But all these people are such algorithmic thinkers that they can't, you know, bend their mind around that basic concept.
00:07:54.700But we had Dallas Brody there calling for UBC to be defunded, which is absolutely the right thing to have happen here.
00:08:03.760UBC does not deserve any money if they can't actually make the campus safe.
00:08:08.860They can't make it a place of actual open inquiry and freedom of speech.
00:08:14.540So here was Dallas Brody being interviewed by Jared Yeager at the Western Standard.
00:08:57.600And I don't, if I were a premier of this province, I would cut off all findings to this university immediately until they started allowing diversity of thought on this campus.
00:09:31.720They simply want to riot and create problems and oppose anything that is Western simply because they want to.
00:09:39.740Because they're scared of it, it's because they are actively malevolent.
00:09:43.000Maybe some are scared of it, but it's more of just the cynical left-wing idea that we should just tear anything down that smacks of Westernism because something, something colonialism or whatever.
00:09:57.200In a lot of ways, I think they know they're liars, but the problem is, is that people, not unlike the center left, but the far left, you know, the revolutionary communist party left, are just liars.
00:10:09.540And that sounds very simplistic, but genuinely, you follow these people long enough and they just lie.
00:10:16.500They will call you names that they know that don't actually apply to you in order to try and undermine you.
00:10:21.580Because they only see politics, they only conceptualize it as a giant power game, which is extremely toxic for society because it means that we actually are sidelining truth in favor of basically just trying to muscle other people out.

00:10:43.780This is after they were chased into the aquatic center and eventually the police actually had to bust them out the back door.
00:10:51.560They had to get on motor coaches at the back and then drive away because of all the students mobbing the building, you know, slamming the glass windows and trying to, and trying to like attack them.

00:11:03.680And again, where's the UBC administration?
00:11:05.960If they said, if you harass, if you assault, if you scream and make with megaphones in someone's face tomorrow, you're going to be expelled.
