Summary

Pro-parental rights activists in Alberta are trying to get all of their students out of class to protest new legislation that protects parental rights for minors under a certain age. It's an attempt to smear conservative policies as "anti-Canadian" and "transphobic" but it's an abysmal failure.

00:00:00.000 Remember the multiple massive protests that occurred all across Canada last year in favor of parental rights?
00:00:06.120 It almost didn't matter what city you were in, if a protest was organized, thousands of people showed up in order to stand up for parental rights,
00:00:13.420 despite the fact that the legacy media and left-wing activist groups were trying to smear all the participants as somehow being fringe, radical, or even bigoted.
00:00:23.000 It proved the strength of the parental rights movement, that people were willing to wade through all the slings and arrows in order to stand up for something that they believed in.
00:00:31.500 And now that Alberta Premier Daniel Smith is proposing new legislation to protect parental rights,
00:00:36.780 as well as ban certain medical interventions for minors underneath a certain age,
00:00:41.440 it's now the left's turn to prove that there are people out there who support their agenda through protest.
00:00:46.860 And so far, it's been an abysmal failure for them.
00:00:49.880 Yes, they tried to mount some moderately big protests in places like Calgary, Red Deer, and Edmonton,
00:00:55.580 but these were pretty triflingly small.
00:00:58.300 A few hundred people show up to downtown Calgary, and this is with unions, different activist groups,
00:01:03.700 agitating to get as many people there as possible.
00:01:06.340 It really wasn't that many.
00:01:08.140 And now, their most embarrassing failure yet is their attempt of having students walk out of school
00:01:14.320 in protest of the new legislation because it's supposedly transphobic or targeting vulnerable kids.
00:01:20.600 Those are all lies.
00:01:21.640 It's just the left trying to smear conservative policy because they can't actually make good arguments against it.
00:01:26.740 It's really the conservatives protecting both parental rights as well as vulnerable children.
00:01:31.260 Anyways, there's this one guy on X, and he did a great job of documenting just how terrible these walkouts were.
00:01:40.180 Dan Phillip on X, I'd go follow him, the Invisible Dan.
00:01:44.280 I will link his first tweet in this thread in the description below so you can go look at it,
00:01:48.600 go give him a like and retweet.
00:01:50.420 He said,
00:01:50.780 It continues on, he says,
00:02:07.800 Also note that I'm blocking out the face of the students, even though activists who are supposedly fighting for the kids' safety didn't bother.
00:02:21.220 And he said,
00:02:21.760 And then he moves on.
00:02:34.860 Sorry, that's not quite it.
00:02:37.200 And he said,
00:02:38.260 Leduc Composite High School, enrollment, 1,200 students,
00:02:41.540 Auntie Daniel Smith student turnout, 16 visible in the photo.
00:02:44.540 Let's be generous and give them an extra 1.5 times the students who might be hiding in the background.
00:02:50.200 So 24, 2% activists are claiming 40, which would still only be 3.3%.
00:02:54.960 And then the Western Canada High School, enrollment, 2,207 students,
00:02:59.980 Auntie Daniel Smith student turnout, 28 visible.
00:03:03.260 We'll be generous from around up to 40 to count for hidden students and any stragglers off to the left, 1.8%.
00:03:10.200 An abysmal failure.
00:03:12.560 And I think Dan Phillips put a really good point on it at the end of his thread saying,
00:03:18.220 What have we learned?
00:03:19.420 Despite the media hype, turnout for the Alberta student lockout was very low,
00:03:23.160 even among supposedly woke Gen Z and alpha individuals.
00:03:27.320 Journalists report what they want to be true.
00:03:29.280 Albertans support Daniel Smith's balanced, reasonable approach.
00:03:32.760 Stay strong, Premier.
00:03:34.040 Absolutely.
00:03:34.940 Thank you for that, Fred, Dan.
00:03:36.280 I do recommend everyone who does have an X account, go and follow him.
00:03:39.860 That was very good.
00:03:41.220 You know, I'm not sure if he's a journalist, but that was very good journalism that he did,
00:03:45.460 despite not maybe even being a journalist himself.
00:03:47.960 It demonstrates there's not a lot of good people in the legacy media,
00:03:51.140 considering that they made it out that this was a big strike against Daniel Smith.
00:03:56.420 And you could say, well, 40 students showing up is pretty good because most students are pretty apathetic about issues.
00:04:01.700 I guarantee there are teachers, there are activist groups who were trying to get as many students out as humanly possible.
00:04:09.300 If you can get only 15 students out, 40 students, even if it was 80 students, that's pathetic.
00:04:14.360 There were pro-parental rights student walkouts that happened in different cities in Canada,
00:04:19.340 and you would get hundreds of students out.
00:04:21.420 You'd almost get the entire classroom to clear to come out in support of not having certain gender theory type topics being taught in the classroom.
00:04:30.240 What went on here in these schools is it really demonstrated, at least in my mind,
00:04:34.980 that the younger generation is not nearly as woke and left wing as the left would like to think.
00:04:40.040 It actually is, in my mind, that the younger generation is becoming more socially conservative
00:04:45.960 because when they grow up with ridiculous woke curriculums in the classroom,
00:04:50.520 some of them will embrace it and become radicals.
00:04:53.000 More of them will just become so sick of it that they become apathetic to politics or become conservatives.
00:04:58.440 I actually think that we're about to hit a very young, new conservative generation
00:05:02.400 and that we will be able to capitalize on that to push back against woke policies
00:05:06.800 that these students will demand for more conservative professors.
00:05:10.880 Postsecondary, they will demand that their parents step up
00:05:14.700 and actually push back on this crap in the classroom because it is garbage.
00:05:18.760 We're not teaching kids good things in school anymore,
00:05:21.080 and kids are not going to be led around by the nose by activists saying that you're being attacked,
00:05:26.080 you're a vulnerable kid, and you're being discriminated against.
00:05:29.480 I guarantee there's a lot of kids who would have fit inside the categories
00:05:32.680 that these activist groups were supposedly standing up for who didn't bother showing up
00:05:36.740 because guess what?
00:05:38.040 Who cares?
00:05:39.180 Daniel Smith's policy is perfectly reasonable.
00:05:41.600 Pure poly of the federal conservative leader's position on block wanting no puberty blockers for minors
00:05:46.940 is perfectly reasonable.
00:05:48.700 The only people who stand against this are so left-wing and culturally Marxist in their views
00:05:54.220 that they do not think with the rational brain that a normal parent does.
00:05:58.700 Parents do not like their kids being put into vulnerable positions,
00:06:03.480 being made anxious about their gender,
00:06:05.380 and so I think a lot of kids also have grown up with the idea
00:06:08.780 that I don't really want an activist telling me
00:06:10.980 that I'm allowed to identify as an opposite gender if I so choose.
00:06:14.660 Yes, I guess I can, but it's a little creepy that these people want me
00:06:17.980 to search my soul out to see if I'm not actually secretly a different thing than I really am.
00:06:24.300 I'm very odd, and I'm happy that this student walkout,
00:06:28.180 some, like, student walkout just fell on its face.
00:06:31.400 There's probably more students that walked out,
00:06:33.820 like, there's probably more students who walk out of the school between classes
00:06:37.160 than actually joined that protest just to go to, like, a 7-Eleven and get a Slurpee.
00:06:42.280 Hilarious.
00:06:43.180 Anyways, just to quickly mention that I, Wyatt Claypool,
00:06:46.700 am running for the Calgary Signal Hill Conservative Party nomination.
00:06:49.640 It's this writing right here.
00:06:50.700 If you live there, check out my website, whyclaypool.com,
00:06:54.080 and buy a conservative membership.
00:06:55.580 We want conservatives representing conservative writings,
00:06:58.100 and I am easily the most conservative person running for this nomination.
00:07:02.100 And also, I have my legal defense fund linked in the description of this video as well.
00:07:06.080 It's a Give, Send, Go fundraiser because we're being sued by a rich developer
00:07:10.580 who thinks that we defamed him in some way.
00:07:12.920 It's utter nonsense.
00:07:13.960 Even when he was supposed to file evidence that we defamed him,
00:07:16.980 he couldn't file anything.
00:07:17.960 It was, like, his LinkedIn profile, his company website,
00:07:20.500 and then the article we wrote about him was his evidence.
00:07:23.580 It was basically nothing.
00:07:24.660 He still hasn't proved we said anything defamatory.
00:07:27.060 He's just saying, well, you repeated it a lot, and I feel like it's defamatory.
00:07:31.140 His questioning did not go well, to put it lightly.
00:07:33.720 Mine went very well because they couldn't actually hit me with any factual errors that we made.
00:07:39.260 But, you know, sweet victory.
00:07:41.520 It has cost me $25,000, so if you want to contribute, it does help me out a lot.
00:07:45.420 But other than that, I will see you guys in my next video or next live stream,
00:07:50.320 whichever one comes first, and I do appreciate all of your support
00:07:53.780 and, you know, help distributing these videos.
00:07:56.840 Just like the video, subscribe, share it on X Facebook.
00:08:00.160 It gets more viewers to the channel and helps us grow.
00:08:03.180 So if you do that, I thank you.
00:08:04.760 If you don't, I understand, but I still hate you a little bit.
00:08:07.360 Just kidding.
00:08:08.380 Have a great week.
