00:00:00.400 So a U.S. and U.K.-led coalition has bombed the Houthis inside Yemen, and you've seen on the streets all the worst people in the world, 0.74
00:00:08.160 from the girl who thinks showering was invented by the patriarchy to the man waving the Taliban flag,
00:00:12.880 are all up in arms and very upset, screaming about international law, and you're sitting there wondering,
00:00:19.460 hey, what's going on? Enter Daniel, I'm here to help. What is going on?
00:00:24.860 First thing you need to know is the Houthis are not Yemen. They're an IRGC-backed militant rebel faction that started the civil war years ago.
00:00:35.800 They are a proxy of, you could say, Iran. It's really the IRGC, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
00:00:42.100 To know a bit about the IRGC, their key goal is to guard the revolution. They openly state they're not Iranian.
00:00:47.780 They don't protect Iranian interests. Yes, they're Iranian-backed, but they're the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
00:00:52.540 Their goal is to spread the Islamic Revolution of 1979 to the world. 0.80
00:00:56.920 And in their own doctrine of the Quds Force, their international arm, part of the way they do that is they find cells of resistance, 0.95
00:01:04.860 which they describe as any Shiite population anywhere, because, again, they're radical Shiite lunatics. 1.00
00:01:09.900 And what they do is they fund them, and they train them, and they send them arms. 0.91
00:01:13.460 They use them to create chaos and use that as leverage in the international community.
00:01:16.840 That was the Houthis. 0.99
00:01:17.860 Okay, so that's who the Houthis represent.
00:01:20.940 The Houthis represent Ayatollah Khomeini.
00:01:23.340 The Khomeini, the rest in pieces, Qatlet Soleimani, that's who they represent. 0.99
00:01:28.980 The international jihad arm, they're part of the same faction as Hamas,
00:01:32.020 Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, and Hashem Shabi, the rest of the IRGC-backed militants.
00:01:37.860 These are one of the crown jewels of the IRGC.
00:01:41.960 So, what's going on?
00:01:45.480 The Houthis are in Yemen, right here, right below Saudi Arabia.
00:01:50.300 And what the Houthis have done is they've decided to blockade the Red Sea, which is a very important international port.
00:01:58.120 Again, shipping lanes are very important to everyone, right?
00:02:01.440 If you've ever, I don't know, if you're a human being, you've ever read a history book or played a board game,
00:02:05.220 you know, ports, like, you get it, if you've made it two minutes into this video,
00:02:09.980 you get why shipping is important to the global economy.
00:02:14.900 Now, fun fact, blockading international shipping ports is an act of war.
00:02:20.320 Now, because they're blockading all ships, the Houthis have technically committed an act of war against the entire world. 0.66
00:02:26.560 Undercover, oh, they're helping the Gazan civilians, they're doing none of that.
00:02:29.900 And they're filing rockets into Israel, some of them landed in Egypt.
00:02:32.360 So, again, another act of war against two of our allies, Israel and Egypt.
00:02:36.560 The Houthis have fired rockets into their country.
00:02:39.960 These are acts of war.
00:02:41.480 Now, there is no international law out there that says you cannot respond to acts of war.
00:02:48.800 Again, blockading the port in the entire Red Sea is an act of war against any country who uses those ports for international shipping.
00:02:58.540 Those countries include these ones right there.
00:03:01.860 So, all the ones in there, they have legitimate cause to hit the Houthis. 1.00
00:03:07.060 Now, all the ding-dongs like Rashida Tlaib in the U.S. are saying,
00:03:10.140 this is illegal, you need congressional approval to go to war.
00:03:12.800 This isn't an act of war, okay?
00:03:14.600 Sorry, this isn't a war, you can do an act of war.
00:03:16.140 Okay, the actual law here is the U.S. president has the authority, he's the commander-in-chief,
00:03:21.540 he can authorize military strikes as long as he goes to Congress within 40 hours to explain it.
00:03:27.300 Imagine if there was an invasion force floating towards America and the president had to get congressional approval to fire before they reach American shores.
00:03:39.480 No, you would have to authorize kinetically and quickly.
00:03:42.240 Instead of calling all the Congress together for a vote because they're going to land in the U.S. in an hour,
00:03:46.820 you need someone to say, no, blow them out of the water now so they can't invade New York.
00:03:51.160 Makes sense.
00:03:52.080 These are the rules.
00:03:53.400 So, anyone screaming about this violates U.S. law, it doesn't.
00:03:57.260 Anyone screaming about international law, one, as you're going to find out, they don't know what international law is.
00:04:02.660 The way you counter this, it's simple.
00:04:04.520 Just ask people to name what specific international law they think this strike violates,
00:04:09.820 they will immediately shut down because they do not know what they're even talking about.
00:04:14.140 Because none of them do.
00:04:15.620 Alright, but more deeply, what's up with Yemen, right?
00:04:18.800 You're trying to impress a girl or you want to sound smart in your group chat.
00:04:22.080 So, you're here to figure out, okay, what can I say about Yemen to offer something to the conversation?
00:04:27.120 Again, Yemen right here, right under Saudi Arabia.
00:04:31.860 We all remember the war on terror.
00:04:34.580 During the war on terror and, you know, the global al-Qaeda stuff, Yemen became a hotbed for al-Qaeda.
00:04:39.400 Why?
00:04:39.760 Well, it was a bit of a failed state.
00:04:41.440 As you see, terrorist organizations and drug cartels, criminal organizations,
00:04:45.240 they thrive in places where there's chaos and lawlessness.
00:04:49.620 So, Yemen, being the most unstable place in that region, naturally had a lot of al-Qaeda members gravitate to it and create a strong bed, right? 0.92
00:04:58.080 This is where Anwar al-Awlaki had to be drone strike.
00:05:00.800 Now, during the war on terror, the U.S. and the coalition forces were, in Yemen, essentially stabilizing the government.
00:05:06.920 Once we did this whole, let's just run away and pull out and pretend the problem is solved,
00:05:11.300 that's when we got the Yemeni civil war because, for years, the IRGC had been funding, training, and supplying the Houthi rebels with arms and ammunition.
00:05:20.380 And when the coalition forces pulled out and you had an already unstable government with a heavily IRGC, Islamic regime, and Iran-backed militia,
00:05:29.060 they were able to institute chaos and civil war.
00:05:31.720 And then, once the Houthis gained enough territorial control, what did they start doing?
00:05:34.960 They started launching missiles at Saudi Arabia and the UAE. 0.92
00:05:39.180 Because, again, they're Shiite extremists, and those are Sunnis. 1.00
00:05:42.500 So, gotta kill them all. That's what they do. 1.00
00:05:46.000 Well, their actual slogan doesn't say anything to Saudi Arabia.
00:05:48.320 The actual slogan of these Houthis, these vaunted noble defenders of whatever it is you're going to claim, is,
00:05:54.600 Allahu Akbar, God is the greatest, death to America, death to Israel, curse upon the Jews, victory to Islam. 1.00
00:06:01.200 That's their literal slogan. That is what they're trying to do. 0.98
00:06:03.700 They are crazy jihadists. 0.99
00:06:05.860 So, naturally, Saudi Arabia doesn't like when you fire missiles at them. 1.00
00:06:09.640 Most countries don't.
00:06:10.740 So, they fired missiles back.
00:06:12.460 This then caused all the Iranian and the Muslim Brotherhood-backed NGOs, like Quincy Institute, Brookings.
00:06:19.700 Quincy is Iran. 1.00
00:06:21.400 Brookings is Qatar.
00:06:23.040 You know, NIAC, again Iran. 0.77
00:06:24.540 All the Atlantic Council.
00:06:25.920 All these foreign policy wonks.
00:06:27.640 They started screaming about Yemen, and they got the Biden administration to stop supplying MBS and Saudi Arabia with the munitions to fight against the Houthis,
00:06:36.180 and took the Houthis off the designated terror list, thinking, if we hug the terrorists and give them everything they want, they will love us.
00:06:42.300 No. 0.99
00:06:43.080 Their slogan, again, to recap, God is the greatest, death to America, death to Israel, curse upon the Jews, victory to Islam. 1.00
00:06:51.320 So, that was their statement before Biden gave them a hug. 0.73
00:06:54.220 This is their position after Biden gave them a hug.
00:06:56.620 You cannot hug the terrorism away, no matter how hard you try.
00:07:00.500 So, again, when the coalition forces pulled out of Yemen, it enabled the IRGC-backed Houthis to ravage the country. 0.85
00:07:09.340 Now, they have control of certain parts of it, and they are getting much more supplies from Iran.
00:07:15.000 They have high-grade missile technology, high-grade weapons technology, and they're using this to blockade and attack ships in the Red Sea.
00:07:21.340 Most of them not even related to Israel, like palm oil shipments from Italy to India. 0.99
00:07:25.540 This is who the Houthis are attacking to save Palestine, because they're lunatics, and they're not that smart. 0.97
00:07:32.340 So, multiple acts for it. 0.99
00:07:33.760 You cannot have this.
00:07:34.520 You cannot shut down an entire shipping port because you're mad at the Jews.
00:07:38.020 That's not how the world works.
00:07:39.380 So, the coalition, which was led by the U.S. and the U.K., because they have real militaries, they said backing from Australia, New Zealand, and Canada.
00:07:48.580 I guarantee you, Justin Trudeau is not leading the charge here, but what that does mean is this is a unified message from the Five Eyes countries.
00:07:55.200 The Five Eyes, right, those five countries' names, they're behind this.
00:07:59.060 They support this.
00:07:59.920 So, it's sort of a, hey, F around, find out type thing from us.
00:08:03.800 And that's good.
00:08:04.740 Listen, I'm happy Canada's name on it.
00:08:07.200 And, you know, it's like the group project.
00:08:10.220 Yes, we're the kid in the class who didn't really do part of the group project, but the leaders decided to put our names on it, so we still get the mark.
00:08:16.220 It's the best foreign policy moment of Trudeau's entire career.
00:08:20.320 You have the Houthis, who have done their little jihad in the Red Sea. 0.89
00:08:25.720 And now they've been punched in the mouth.
00:08:27.420 This is where the game starts now.
00:08:30.220 Now, what the Houthis, and more specifically the Islamic Republic of Iran, and their international proxy are going to try and do, is try and win the narrative on Yemen right now.
00:08:40.900 And they're going to try really hard to push some sort of victory or victimhood narrative for Yemen.
00:08:46.340 Oh, this, it's so poor.
00:08:47.680 They're fighting for human rights.
00:08:49.120 Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:08:50.680 They want to win the narrative to make America look bad for this attack.
00:08:54.060 And if America looks bad for this attack, the Houthis will continue to attack more and more and more.
00:08:58.140 They said they're going to still keep doing what they're doing.
00:09:01.640 I would advise everyone to monitor these protests and actually bring awareness to what they're saying.
00:09:07.640 Because you already have them chanting the Houthi slogan on the streets of America.
00:09:11.220 And again, these are people in America chanting, 0.98
00:09:14.580 Allahu Akbar, death to America, death to Israel, curse the Jews, victory to Islam. 1.00
00:09:21.940 This is what they are shouting on our streets. 1.00
00:09:23.360 And we need to show them for who they are.
00:09:25.620 Because if we don't expose these people for the actual radical ideology that they have,
00:09:30.340 and their lust for world domination, the attacks are going to get worse, and worse and worse and worse.
00:09:35.840 And another IRGC proxy is going to enter the fray.
00:09:38.400 So this is a very good step by the Biden administration to actually do something.
00:09:42.100 But they will lose all the momentum and everything good that happened if they do not follow up and stay firm on the actions.
00:09:47.960 And it's our job as people who like freedom and not terrorism to hold them to account.
00:09:52.740 So good job Biden for one day, but also Biden's naivety and a capitulation to the Islamic Republic of Iran and the IRGC did cause this.
00:10:01.340 So yes, good job cleaning up the mess, but also who broke the vase and then, you know, tore up the entire house?
00:10:08.480 Because it was Joe Biden and Barack Obama.
00:10:11.120 So not too much credit.
