00:00:00.000 Today on American Glory, I'm covering interracial marriage.
00:00:04.100 What is it?
00:00:04.980 Is it sinful?
00:00:05.840 Is it permissible?
00:00:06.700 Is it good?
00:00:07.820 Or is it not advised?
00:00:09.460 All that and more, coming up right now.
00:00:11.660 Hi, Joel here.
00:00:12.880 NXR Studios is about to launch our most important book of the year.
00:00:17.060 It's titled, White Genocide.
00:00:19.300 Because it's not just demographic change that the West is undergoing.
00:00:23.420 No, instead, there is an active and malicious war against the Anglo-Saxon people.
00:00:28.180 And so, in our book, White Genocide, we explain first and foremost why race is real, both from a biological and a spiritual standpoint, rooted in the pages of Scripture, not Darwin.
00:00:41.040 Then we outline the promises to the European descendants of Japheth found in Genesis chapter 10.
00:00:47.180 Then we meticulously chronicle and expose how birth control, abortion, globalism, and mass immigration have all coalesced into an intentional threat to turn the very civilization that once ruled the world in a thousand years of Christendom into an extreme persecuted minority.

00:02:35.720 Welcome to American Glory. This is season three on The American Family. I'm your host,
00:02:42.300 Dale Partridge. This is episode five of season three, titled, Is Interracial Marriage Sinful?
00:02:48.540 Now, this season, I'm covering the history of the American family from multiple different
00:02:53.120 directions. Last week, I spoke about biblical femininity. What does a submissive woman look
00:02:58.860 like according to scripture? Next week, I'm going to be talking about birth control and a few other
00:03:03.960 topics for the remaining episodes of the season. Now, if you don't know, American Glory is also a
00:03:08.700 podcast. And so if you want to listen, you can just search for the American Glory podcast. You're
00:03:14.360 going to find it on Spotify or Apple podcasts or wherever you want to listen to your podcast. Now,
00:03:18.980 if you're already listening to the podcast and you want to watch the video, it does come with
00:03:23.140 helpful slides and graphics and video clips. And you can watch that on the NXR YouTube page. You
00:03:28.040 can also watch it on my YouTube page at Dale Partridge TV. Now, just a reminder, if you've
00:03:33.180 not seen my friend Joel Webin's brand new excellent book, White Genocide. The subtitle is
00:03:38.620 The Criminal Conspiracy of Immigration, Demographic Replacement, and Anti-White Racism. It's an
00:03:45.620 excellent book, really deep on its theology. You can pick it up, just get your own copy at
00:03:50.640 newchristianright.com forward slash genocide. On that note, let's go ahead and begin.
00:03:55.980 many westerners and even christians argue that while god created two sexes
00:04:03.140 he created only one race the human race now in one sense that's true but scripture is explicit
00:04:10.660 that all humanity shares a common origin and dignity and we all descend from one man that
00:04:16.720 is obviously adam but race is also a biological and historical reality now the word race is
00:04:23.900 dealing with degrees of ancestral likeness. That's a very important definition. Race is the
00:04:30.100 word dealing with degrees of ancestral likeness. And this matters because we're not Gnostics who
00:04:37.100 divorce the physical from the spiritual and pretend that we're all the same just with different
00:04:41.960 melanin levels in our skin. Now, God gave us eyes and he gave us distinct genetic traits and
00:04:49.100 behavior patterns and phenotypes and skeletal structures. Now in the New Testament, the apostle
00:04:54.960 Paul and Stephen explicitly describe the Jewish people as a distinct kinship group, or they
00:05:03.700 actually use the word race in Acts 7.19. In the NASB 95 translation, Stephen says, quote,
00:05:10.180 it was he who took shrewd advantage of our race and mistreated our fathers so that they would
00:05:18.140 expose their infants and they would not survive end quote now the word race itself has a deep
00:05:24.120 historical root now it traces its origin from the old french word race which is about 1480 when you
00:05:30.860 start to see that and then it comes from the italian rasa which is from the 1300s and that
00:05:36.720 word actually is used to describe breed or lineage or family stock now the italian root is actually
00:05:43.380 further tied to the etymology of the Latin radix, which actually goes all the way back to ancient
00:05:49.780 Rome, about 75 AD, which means root. So this etymological progression proves that humanity
00:05:58.500 for many generations has possessed a word for this concept that we now call race. You don't
00:06:05.300 create words for things that don't exist. And so when these people say, oh, there's just one race,
00:06:10.740 the human race, well, why did we have a word for this for the past 2,000 years and probably
00:06:15.340 longer than that to describe this concept of race? In other words, race is real. It's real
00:06:21.400 in scripture. It's real in history. It's real in our experience. So to deny race is to deny
00:06:27.600 categories of peoplehood and genetic lineages that were created by God. And I think, again,
00:06:33.460 that word race is a helpful tool to describe those distinctions. Now, I think of it kind of
00:06:38.880 the term colorblind, right? Which was a virtue signaling phrase in the 20 teens that showed
00:06:46.620 people that you don't see any racial distinctions at all. They're all the same, right? And I get
00:06:52.820 the heart behind it, right? Is that you're not making judgments just on skin color alone. I get
00:06:58.540 that. But it was just a way to say, really, for the people that used it, I'm so superior and
00:07:04.260 progressive, and neutral that I see everyone exactly the same, even though there is clearly
00:07:09.700 distinctions between all of these different groups. Now, these are the same people who,
00:07:16.000 you know, that use this colorblind term or these people that there's one race, the human race.
00:07:21.460 These are the same people who, when they're crossing the street at night and they see a
00:07:25.480 group of young black men on the corner, they're actually going to cross the street. Now, and if
00:07:30.700 they don't cross the street, they're often the same people that are in the evening news because
00:07:35.960 they ended up getting mugged or beaten or killed because they were too afraid to be quote racist
00:07:43.000 or to make judgment calls based off of race. Now, again, we're not talking about the idea of
00:07:49.940 making judgment just based on skin color alone. No, that would be ridiculous. No,
00:07:55.280 we know that there are patterns of behavior with different groups of people. We can see that. We
00:08:00.500 watch the news. Now, I'm working on a book called God's Design for Nations, and my hope is that it's
00:08:08.760 going to offer a clear taxonomy of what race is, what humanity, how it's organized, offer a
00:08:14.740 distinction from a biblical perspective of what God's design is for ethnicities and for races and
00:08:20.800 for cultures and what that looks like. Now, my taxonomy for humanity, according to scripture,
00:08:26.820 and i think that this has been historically the taxonomy in most theological circles for at least
00:08:33.960 a thousand years if not all the way back even before the time of christ but um it's one mankind
00:08:40.700 so we all come from one mankind which is obviously in adam and it was subdivided into three macro
00:08:48.800 races descending from the lines of noah's three sons uh genesis 9 18 through 19 you can look that
00:08:54.920 up and from these three macro races of humanity come hundreds of ethnicities so there are many
00:09:02.040 ethnicities that come from each one of these groups and from those ethnicities come thousands
00:09:07.720 of distinct cultures and so while each individual ethnicity or people group can generally be called
00:09:15.480 a race maybe historically they might be the term in our modern socio-political context typically
00:09:21.080 refers to whites, which is coming from the line of Japheth, Arabs that are coming from the line
00:09:27.320 of Shem, and then blacks that are coming from the line of Ham. Now, as we know, there are lots of
00:09:33.840 white ethnicities and cultures. There are lots of black ethnicities and cultures, and there are lots
00:09:39.660 of Arab ethnicities and cultures. Now, just to offer a little bit of clarity, this is something
00:09:47.560 that's helpful for a lot of people that are new to this topic. Words like Hispanic is not a race.
00:09:53.380 It's not a macro group. It describes a grouping of multiple racial lineages. So you have white
00:10:01.000 Hispanics of European descent. Think about Argentina, Uruguay, even parts of Costa Rica,
00:10:07.400 parts of El Salvador, even parts of Northern Mexico. And then you have black Hispanics
00:10:12.940 of African descent. Think about the Dominican Republic or Cuba. And the same is true for
00:10:20.220 several major Asian populations. So Koreans and Japanese share ancestral lineages that are rooted
00:10:27.600 in the Japhethite migrations after the flood, making them, again, falling into that white
00:10:34.360 category as a macro race level. So again, the word race is the linguistic tool used to describe
00:10:43.620 related people groups. Generally in our context, it's black, it's white. You know, often people
00:10:51.260 think about Hispanic being an actual race. I would say technically it is not because again,
00:10:55.980 you have the black Hispanics, you have white Hispanics, but really biblically speaking,
00:11:00.000 there are at least three races, which again was Shem, Ham, and Japheth, those lines there.
00:11:07.160 The modern food industry looked at our food and thought, hey, you know what beef needs?
00:11:11.840 More corn syrup, soy, preservatives, and ingredients that no one can actually pronounce.
00:11:18.040 It's almost impressive. If you'd rather eat something that your great-grandfather would
00:11:22.800 actually recognize as food, then check out Paleo Valley's 100% grass-fed beef sticks.
00:11:29.600 They're made from 100% grass-fed and grass-finished beef, packed with protein, and they're the kind of snack that you can keep in your truck, your office, or your backpack without feeling like you're eating edible chemistry.

00:12:31.220 Now, my whole argument today is really rooted in Genesis chapter 9 through 11.
00:12:37.260 Now, in Genesis chapter 9, Noah's three sons, they stand as these kind of racial heads of a post-flood humanity.
00:12:45.520 And why do we make these distinctions? This is very important.
00:12:48.060 Because God assigns them different civilizational and prophetic purposes
00:12:52.860 that are connected to their genetic realities and their blessings and curses. So Shem was to
00:13:01.220 bring forth a Messiah. They became a very religious people, which is why the Jews and
00:13:05.260 the Muslims both come from him. Japheth was to be an expansive people who would receive the gospel
00:13:12.200 from Shem. So it says that Japheth will dwell in the tents of Shem. Every theologian, I mean,
00:13:18.060 the vast vast majority of theologians have always interpreted it that way now ham was cursed through
00:13:22.860 his son canaan for sexual immorality and his line was to be a the the civilizational servant of his
00:13:30.460 brothers and their descendants i did an entire episode on this titled the curse of ham last
00:13:38.060 season you can go back and check it out you can also listen to my debate that i did with samuel say
00:13:43.100 you can, I have a sermon series. Again, I do think that my book, which will be finished probably
00:13:49.720 about this time next year, 2027, I think it's going to be my best work on the topic. But you're
00:13:55.600 free to study in the meantime to understand some of these distinctions, understand what the, like
00:14:01.100 my opening statement for my debate with Samuel Say, I think was a pretty good reflection of where
00:14:07.540 I'm going with this, and the historical church understood these racial categories, at least
00:14:13.540 theologically. Now, this is the key to the tensions around interracial marriage. It's all
00:14:20.160 backing up into these categories in Genesis 9 through 11. Now, in Genesis 10, it's known as the
00:14:26.320 table of nations. God explicitly organizes people according to their ancestry, according to their
00:14:32.760 language according to their lands and according to their nation so those four categories it would
00:14:37.680 even go further i would even say liturgy which is the religion or loves uh what is kind of their
00:14:42.580 culture and their focus there but those at least four categories so you were a nation was ancestry
00:14:48.540 primarily um language uh lands and nation which would speak maybe to their government at that
00:14:54.760 particular point now historically nation the word nation is understood primarily as a the largest
00:15:02.300 expression of a genetic family. So it's a shared ancestry rather than just like a political border.
00:15:07.300 Now the Latin root nay comes from natus, which means to be born, which is where we derive the
00:15:15.000 words like native or natal. You know, like you have a woman is, after she's pregnant, she would
00:15:22.820 take, you know, postnatal care, or my wife had to take prenatal vitamins, right? This is again,
00:15:29.120 know, around birth. It's also for natural. And obviously it is the root for nation. Now,
00:15:36.060 historically, this was universally understood. Distinct people groups stuck together and
00:15:42.240 organized themselves according to not just their race, but also their ethnicity and also their
00:15:47.280 languages and also their borders and their lands. And this was natural order throughout all of
00:15:52.160 history, minus basically the last 25 to 40 years. Because even though after Hart Seller Act happened
00:15:58.540 in 1965 and there was flooding in going in the West and Europe, really we didn't see a massive
00:16:04.460 shift of interracial marriage or mass integration or lack of assimilation or mass migration really
00:16:14.260 until about 25 to 40 years ago. Even when I was a kid in the 1990s, we really didn't see, I mean,
00:16:21.300 still at that point, I think it was, I don't know, 80%, 87% of the United States was still white.
00:16:27.060 Now, modern multiculturalism and the leftist media have pushed a sharp departure from this
00:16:32.980 historical pattern that we see, again, throughout all of world history. And actually, we still see
00:16:37.280 in almost everywhere but the West. Now, I'm not talking about inter-ethnic marriage, okay?
00:16:42.660 A German man marrying an Irish woman, or an Italian and Spanish woman like my wife
00:16:51.640 marry me, an American of English stock. Okay. That's an inter-ethnic marriage because again,
00:17:00.020 we all, all of those categories would still come from Japheth. We're essentially still all white,
00:17:06.000 even though you might have, you know, the Italians or the Spanish might have different tones of skin,
00:17:10.160 but generally they come from the same genetic families, the same phenotypes, the same IQ levels.
00:17:16.680 a lot of those other things we'll talk about in a minute. Now, what we're seeing now is a
00:17:21.520 widespread global migration producing large-scale interracial marriage. At least, I mean, it's still
00:17:27.180 a vast minority, but we're seeing it at greater degrees as a result of this multiculturalism.
00:17:34.800 And so, you know, mostly, it's mostly black men marrying white women or Arab and Indian men
00:17:42.120 marrying white women. And there's obviously other organizations of that as well, but
00:17:48.200 it's pushed in almost every television show, every commercial, every advertising campaign.
00:17:53.800 And this is happening at scale only in the Western world. And we don't see this in Africa. We don't
00:18:01.200 see it in India. We don't see it in China. We don't see it in South America. It is a uniquely
00:18:05.560 modern Western matter. And it is worth asking, is this racial intermingling through marriage,
00:18:14.100 is it good? Is it permissible? Is it a violation of the divine or natural order? Should Christians
00:18:20.620 support it or should they oppose it? How should we think about it as Americans and how should it
00:18:27.200 inform the vision for the American family? So these are very important questions and I wish
00:18:32.040 I could do more justice for it. I will have an entire chapter on this in my book, but this is
00:18:37.780 just mostly just my kind of immediate notes on this particular topic. So let me start by reading
00:18:43.900 our church's statement on the matter. I pastor Kingsway Reform Church in Prescott, Arizona.
00:18:50.480 Now we have released several statements on cultural matters that are pressing the West.
00:18:56.180 And I'm not saying that this one's perfect. In fact, it's still pretty much in draft form.
00:19:00.460 We've been slowly making edits just to make sure that we tighten it up.
00:19:04.380 But I think it's pretty helpful, and I think it's a good start for our discussion today.
00:19:08.580 So I'm going to read it to you.
00:19:09.760 It says, quote, God made one mankind in Adam after the flood.
00:19:14.920 God distinguished mankind into three macro races and the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth,
00:19:21.060 not as mere skin colors, but as providential and prophetic offices with different civilizational
00:19:27.620 callings.
00:19:28.320 And I'm going to stop there for a second. When I say the civilizational callings, again,
00:19:32.940 when you understand my episode on the curse of Ham, you understand that Japheth has a particular
00:19:39.040 civilizational calling. We see that Ham has a particular civilizational calling, and we see
00:19:45.160 that Shem has a particular civilizational calling. If you look throughout world history, you see
00:19:49.280 those things actually play out according to Noah's prophecy. Okay, let's go back. From each of those
00:19:55.500 three races have come hundreds of ethnicities, languages, and cultures. We affirm that marriage,
00:20:03.140 biblically and historically, ordinarily stays within a race so that a people can pass down
00:20:09.560 and continue the civilizational work of providence and prophecy without confusion. Interracial
00:20:16.600 marriage is not sin, though it can become so through the deliberate promotion of interracial
00:20:22.660 marriage for the destruction of a people's continuity. Interracial marriage may also be
00:20:28.600 necessary in exceptional circumstances, yet it is not the normative or natural pattern God used
00:20:34.840 to fill the earth. Those who honor their fathers and mothers will want their children to receive
00:20:41.040 the people and inheritance they themselves were given. Interethnic marriage may carry
00:20:46.660 fewer civilizational tensions, but can still lead to cultural and familial complications and
00:20:52.820 therefore should not be treated as the biblical or normative ideal, end quote. Now, again, there's
00:20:58.440 lots of leeway in those statements. And when I talk about inter-ethnic marriage, you know, again,
00:21:03.840 it's not a massive deal of if, you know, you grew up in the same culture, you speak the same
00:21:08.260 language. You know, my wife has this Italian and Spanish background, but we grew up in the same
00:21:15.360 town. She's been here for multiple generations. My family's been here for several hundred years,
00:21:19.500 but we blended in quite easily. Where if you were in Europe and you had someone that speaks French
00:21:25.840 and then you were in Germany and someone speaks German, there is a little bit more of a cultural
00:21:29.140 barrier and a language barrier that you have to deal with. So race realism begins with this simple
00:21:36.760 acknowledgement that God providentially moved humanity into visible embodied distinctions
00:21:42.960 that are neither accidental nor meaningless, okay? It's not like an accident that God
00:21:52.120 visually distinguished us in different categories. This is part of God's providence and part of his
00:21:59.280 design of the mosaic of peoples across the world. Now, like I said earlier, these distinctions are
00:22:05.080 not merely cultural overlays imposed upon basically an otherwise interchangeable bodies
00:22:11.800 biologies okay they are visibly inscribed into humanity itself through yes skin color but facial
00:22:20.520 morphology and hair texture and skeletal structure and phenotypical characteristics and different
00:22:27.000 levels of hormones and different markers for aggression and different markers for iq all of
00:22:33.400 these things again historically functioned as markers of likeness of likeness or shared ancestry
00:22:41.320 and corresponded broadly to things like geography and climate but think about it again you had
00:22:48.600 cultures create because there was a groups of people that that liked one another because they
00:22:54.200 were genetically similar not just in uh the way they looked but also the way they behaved and so
00:23:01.880 god gave you know when it comes to say like geography right so yes certainly geography
00:23:06.760 plays a role in melanin levels and skin tones and all those kinds of things. And I think climate
00:23:12.840 also plays into that kind of reality as well as geography. But God gave darker pigmentation
00:23:18.740 to those nearer the equator and lighter pigmentation to those farther away from the equator.
00:23:25.780 Now, there's also, but there's also distinctions there. There are people in the equator
00:23:28.740 that are all over the world that are not having black skin the way that the Africans have black
00:23:34.440 skin. So there's some distinguishing characteristics there that you need to be considering. And again,
00:23:39.400 I'll talk more about that stuff in my book. It's going to take many hundreds of pages to really
00:23:43.500 work through some of this stuff. Now, in addition, these racial macro families show measurable
00:23:50.080 differences in average intelligence as measured by IQ. Now, people descended from Adam, or sorry,
00:23:58.420 people descended from Ham. These are primarily the sub-Saharan African peoples, though there are
00:24:03.620 others, some from India and even some from Northern Africa as well. But they have an average
00:24:08.620 IQ of approximately 70 to 85, and some even lower than that. I would even say on average,
00:24:17.480 it's probably lower than that. But people descended from Japheth, the European and white
00:24:23.680 populations, they averaged somewhere around 100, even up to, you know, on average, depends on
00:24:29.240 certain countries is 105. Now, people that descended from Shem, Middle Eastern, Semitic
00:24:35.280 peoples, you know, some Jews have higher IQs. Some Arabs are somewhere between Africans and
00:24:42.620 Japhethites. If you just look at, you can look up all of this IQ data and understand some of this,
00:24:47.260 but they often fall somewhere in between. Now, these intellectual differences also correlate
00:24:51.900 strongly with, again, with geography, with historical environments, populations near the
00:24:57.540 equator. They largely, you know, again, descended from ham and they lived for generations in
00:25:02.320 climates with basically like no variation in weather. So relatively consistent weather,
00:25:10.000 lots of abundant food, little seasonal pressure. And that kind of environment placed less demand
00:25:15.960 on long-term planning and complex shelter constructions, large-scale food storage
00:25:21.180 realities. And so they developed an outdoor life, which is more physical compared to the indoor life
00:25:30.280 that was had in the North, which develops more intellectual realities. And you start to get
00:25:35.640 music and architecture and sciences and mathematics and some of the other things that go on there.
00:25:40.200 And so these kind of micro evolutionary developments tended to really shape these
00:25:46.240 different IQ levels over multiple generations. It's actually why you have a huge population of
00:25:53.880 blacks that are professional athletes because they have the physical development there. It's
00:25:58.980 also why the vast majority of billionaires, the vast majority of Nobel prize winners are white
00:26:04.320 because you have intellectual realities there. Now it's not just geographical. Again, I would
00:26:10.580 root it back into part of this curse of Ham and what that looks like. How did that play out
00:26:17.160 civilizationally? I'm not talking about individual black people. I'm not talking about individual
00:26:21.020 white people. But as massive groups, I think there's more divine providence involved in that.
00:26:29.320 Now, by contrast, the populations, again, that are north, they're largely descended from Japheth,
00:26:34.720 and they face this kind of harsh seasonal change, long winters, and the constant need to plan ahead
00:26:40.540 and they're forced to develop these kind of sophisticated systems of food storage and
00:26:44.540 shelters and social organization. And so over time, this rewarded the traits, again, part of
00:26:52.060 this indoor world, technological development, you know, again, reading, music, all of the sciences,
00:26:59.760 that stuff. So I want to point out that this wasn't like an accident, but again, this is part
00:27:07.320 god's design he actually had the japhethites move up from mount ararat where noah's ark was was
00:27:14.520 landed all the way up to the caucus mountains the caucus mountains um were east of you know greece
00:27:20.680 and rome and the mediterranean and then they start shifting left or west i should say uh towards the
00:27:28.280 this the mediterranean era area and and so the japhethites as they kind of moved into those
00:27:35.880 coastlands of the mediterranean and that expansion was was good isaiah 42 4 says that the coastlands
00:27:44.600 wait for god's law and when the gospel moved west uh through greece and through rome and into europe
00:27:53.600 through paul's missionary so when you look back actually so you see they're they're moving out
00:27:59.660 all of these coastland territories that the japhethites and then paul's mediterranean coastland
00:28:05.140 missions. If you just like map out all of his missions, it's like all across the Mediterranean,
00:28:10.300 everywhere there. And so you can connect Paul's coastland missionary reality to Isaiah's 42.4
00:28:18.240 prophecy of the coastlands will wait for his law. And so Isaiah's prophecy was fulfilled in that.
00:28:27.340 And so was Noah's because again, Noah said that Japheth will dwell in the tents of Shem,
00:28:33.540 which is to say that he would receive his descendants, would receive Shem's spiritual
00:28:38.460 inheritance by receiving the gospel of Christ, which came by way of Paul's missionary work.
00:28:44.320 And so once you start studying it, the pattern is clearly divine. It's prophetic. It's incredible
00:28:49.900 when you look through world history. And I'm not the only person that's ever noticed this. There's
00:28:53.320 many theologians that have noticed these things in the 1800s, 1700s, 1600s, 1500s. And you start
00:28:59.800 to really connect even all of the European colonialism and all this stuff. It's just
00:29:04.020 really incredible stuff. Now, IQ is remarkably stable across generations and it's highly
00:29:11.660 heritable. That means it's passed down. And what that means is it cannot be significantly changed
00:29:18.020 through education or environment alone because it's largely genetic. And so the only way to
00:29:26.060 meaningfully raise the average IQ of a population over time is through intermarriage with higher
00:29:34.000 IQ groups. So for example, if a black man with an average IQ of say 82 marries a white woman
00:29:40.460 with an average IQ of 85, or sorry, of 105, their children's average IQ will typically fall
00:29:47.440 somewhere between in the middle, right? 90 to 95. Now IQ remains one of the strongest predictors
00:29:54.160 of individual and societal success, including the ability to, you know, have higher education
00:30:03.020 attainment, economic productivity, crime rates, long-term civilizational stability. And for this
00:30:09.840 reason, it's a serious consideration, not only for nations, but also for interracial marriage
00:30:18.180 and family formation. So people ask me often, they go, hey, Dale, would you allow your daughter
00:30:23.800 to marry a black man if he were a strong Christian? Now, my answer is no, and here's why.
00:30:29.780 So black men, we know just some great basic statistics, are just black men leave their
00:30:37.080 wives at a far higher rate. About 70% of all black households have an absentee father or not living
00:30:43.100 in the home. They have higher rates of physical abuse. Now, so those are just one reality. And
00:30:49.200 sure, if you have a high, you know, you know, a great Christian man, you're probably going to
00:30:53.580 eliminate some of those things. But those patterns are actually tracking with average IQ for the
00:30:59.560 black population. So even if you have a strong Christian man that's black, why would I still say
00:31:06.500 no? So again, before you decide that I'm crazy, just remember that our Christian forefathers
00:31:11.560 treated interracial marriage as illegal. They actually made what's called anti-miscegenation
00:31:18.080 laws, which were against intermarriage. Now, I'm not saying that it must be illegal. I don't think
00:31:24.720 that it should be illegal. I'm saying that it is not normative and not natural, because again,
00:31:32.340 natural is that you're thinking about that NA start, right? It's similar ancestry. It is not
00:31:38.260 natural. It is unnatural. And I would argue that in most cases, it's not beneficial. So if my
00:31:45.680 daughter, for example, had an average IQ of 105. And this great Christian black man has an IQ
00:31:53.440 average of, say, 90, which would be above the average IQ of black men in America. But let's
00:31:58.780 just say he has an average IQ of 90. My grandchildren may land somewhere around 97.
00:32:04.980 Now, their skin will likely read as black, not white. That's generally what happens.
00:32:10.820 And they will likely identify with the black population more than the white population.
00:32:15.380 That's also statistically true. If you have a mixed family, the children will have an identity
00:32:21.300 that will lean toward the Black population. So my granddaughter at, say, 97 IQ may then,
00:32:30.720 because she associates with the Black population, marry a Black man at 85 IQ. And again, that's the
00:32:37.240 American Black male average right now. And so my great-grandchildren are going to land around 90.
00:32:43.920 Now, that continues until the line is, again, no longer European, and the IQs have fallen
00:32:51.320 into the range that tracks with the average American IQ, but it even could go lower,
00:32:57.480 but it tracks with higher crime, with weaker civilizational outcomes. And again, these people
00:33:02.940 still might be Christian. They might pass down their faith, and that's wonderful if that was
00:33:06.640 the case, but Congo and say Kenya or Botswana, these places are over 90% Christian and they're
00:33:16.140 still third world nations. Whereas say like Japan, which is 2% Christian and is still a first world
00:33:24.920 nation. And so again, civilizational outcomes follow not just religion, though I think it is
00:33:32.060 heavily affects civilizational outcomes. I will say that civilizational realities or outcomes
00:33:41.300 or output is really connected to race. It's connected to genetics. And so it's not just
00:33:48.080 about skin color. And so I don't want that for my descendants. I don't want my descendants IQs
00:33:55.780 to go from say 105 down to 85 because that big of a drop actually has massive statistical
00:34:06.620 shift for civilizational outcome. And so again, it's not just about skin color, it's about blessing
00:34:13.200 my descendants with higher average civilizational outcomes. And again, this was normal language and
00:34:20.840 thinking for most of human history. If you could like read classic literature of Europe,
00:34:27.200 you'd constantly encounter phrases like, oh, he comes from good breeding or he's well-bred
00:34:32.320 or well-born or of good family or of good extraction. That's another phrase. He comes
00:34:38.660 from good European stock, right? You've heard, these are phrases that are real. Jane Austen
00:34:43.940 herself actually speaks of perfect good breeding in Pride and Prejudice. She also again mentioned
00:34:50.720 that that term good stock in her writings and so um interesting that we can actually see this
00:34:56.960 the same principle at work even in like the the animal kingdom so take dogs for example
00:35:02.000 um within the dog kind right dog kind there are many distinct breeds uh each with its own
00:35:09.700 characteristics we don't we don't say there's one breed the dog breed no we understand that
00:35:15.040 there's one kind, the dog kind, the canine kind. But some breeds are known for higher intelligence,
00:35:23.920 others for playfulness, others for strength and aggression, you know, protective dogs.
00:35:30.660 Most people would never deliberately breed, say, like a, you know, a German shorthaired pointer
00:35:37.660 with a pit bull. And they, you know, understanding that the result of the offspring of those two
00:35:44.220 dogs would likely lose the specialized traits of both of those parents. And, you know, that's again
00:35:51.420 what people would call a mutt in that world, right? Now it's considered taboo to acknowledge
00:35:57.580 that human populations also show real measurable differences in average intelligence and temperament
00:36:05.160 and behavior and civilizational outcomes. Now, so yeah, if you look at Africa, if you look at
00:36:12.020 America, if you look at Europe and you look at India, I mean, there are different realities.
00:36:16.760 Those places are what they are because of the people. The people produce the place. You cannot
00:36:23.340 disconnect the state of a place from the state of the people. And so the reason America was what it
00:36:30.160 was is because of the people. The reason Africa is what it is, is because of the people. We've
00:36:37.980 given Africa trillions of foreign aid. So we've, we've given people so much, these people so much
00:36:44.360 support and money, and it's, it's not changing the outcomes. They've had the gospel now for
00:36:50.200 nearly 500 years, if not longer from, from European missionaries mostly. And that has still
00:36:56.360 not changed the civilizational outcomes of the African continent. The same is true of other
00:37:02.180 nations. Yet again, we have Japan and we have parts of Korea and we even had pagan Europe
00:37:08.780 that was still producing strong civilizations, though they were on their way to hell prior to
00:37:16.720 having the gospel. So it is strange that we readily accept those distinctions with animals.
00:37:23.200 But again, when it comes to interracial marriage, many insist that we, again, are all the same,
00:37:27.220 despite what biology and statistics and history and scripture clearly show. And I say this not
00:37:33.820 to be like vulgar or rude, but to highlight just how deeply bewitched our culture has become by
00:37:41.500 the ideology of egalitarianism. We have what's called like racial egalitarianism, where again,
00:37:48.600 that idea of being colorblind, that we don't want to see any distinctions. But the reality is,
00:37:52.400 is that if you took, say, you know, 100,000 white people and you put them in Africa, they would turn
00:38:01.360 it from a third world country into a first world country within 100 years. And that's exactly what
00:38:06.460 happened with Rhodesia and South Africa and some of the things that are going there. You take those
00:38:11.920 100,000 people out of Africa and you replace them with 100,000 Africans, black Africans,
00:38:19.500 and that place will return to a third world country. And that is because there are very
00:38:25.180 important distinctions. These are not cultural distinctions, okay? These are genetic distinctions
00:38:30.920 between these. This is not just about skin color. This is about generational genetics
00:38:36.480 that have to do with the reality of race. They also have to do, again, with reality of Genesis
00:38:43.300 chapter 9, 10, and 11. Again, we've been trained to ignore obvious differences that every
00:38:49.280 generation before us readily noticed and openly discussed, we have the writing, we have the
00:38:54.700 first editions of these scientific discussions that are all throughout the, you know, 15, 16,
00:39:00.980 17, 18, 1900s. But these distinctions, whether they're physical or intellectual,
00:39:06.120 they function as providential markers of likeness and humanity's attraction to likeness
00:39:13.480 is not an effect of sin or ideology, but a feature of God's design. I'm going to say that
00:39:19.260 like, I want to just belabor that point one more time. Okay. Humanity's attraction to likeness.
00:39:28.140 It's not an effect of sin. It's not a sinful thing to want to marry within your race, within
00:39:36.060 your ethnicity, where you have people that look like you, speak like you, talk like you, behave
00:39:41.280 like you, feel like you, are very much like you. That's a feature of God's design. Likeness
00:39:47.940 fosters recognition and trust and social cohesion, which over time gives rise to shared
00:39:56.300 customs and language and culture. And so we see this in the natural world, right? Quails are found
00:40:02.080 with what? Well, other quail and robins with other robins. They're all birds, but there's a reason
00:40:08.140 for the old phrase, right? Birds of a feather flock together. And so this is natural because
00:40:13.100 visible likeness and patterns of behavior are similar and they attract one another. And so
00:40:20.100 this is natural, but we have been conditioned by globalism and multiculturalism and egalitarianism
00:40:24.960 to not see any distinctions between people groups, because if we did, we would essentially
00:40:30.260 be called racist. And so God designed us to be attracted to those who are most similar to us.
00:40:38.500 we find most peace, most familiarity with them. Now, historically, the idea of being attracted
00:40:45.240 to someone dissimilar was very rare. In today's world, it's often driven by a bunch of stuff. I
00:40:54.220 mean, it's often driven by sexual or exotic desires, some sort of perversion in some cases,
00:40:59.780 sometimes a way to dominate another particular race, or even rebellion against one's own
00:41:06.460 heritage. That's happened. I mean, even J.D. Vance mentioned in his own memoirs
00:41:10.980 that he wanted to deliberately marry into a particular culture because he was so frustrated
00:41:18.120 with his own or his own heritage. And so this happens. And when that happens, I do believe
00:41:24.400 that is sinful. Now, this is why outside of our very modern Western moment, nations throughout
00:41:32.000 history have been populated almost entirely by people who share the same ancestry and likeness,
00:41:39.920 not only in culture, but also invisible traits. They actually look similar to one another.
00:41:45.620 You know, it's like when you go to, you know, the Asian community and to someone who's not Asian,
00:41:51.780 they look very similar to one another. There's even funny jokes. You've probably seen the funny
00:41:56.880 meme. I wish I could maybe put it up here, but it shows an Asian boy and he says, dad, people say
00:42:03.060 that we all look alike. And the dad says, I'm not your dad. And so it's a funny thing to people that
00:42:10.240 are not Asian because we struggle to see those distinctions. But when you are Asian, I have a
00:42:17.760 few friends that are Asian that joke about this as well. And they say that you can actually see
00:42:21.500 those distinctions. The same thing is true even with the black population. It's just struggle for
00:42:25.800 white people to see the differences in tribal realities in Africa. But again, these are not
00:42:31.040 just cultural overlays that make us different. These are biological, patternistic behaviors,
00:42:37.240 feelings, hormones, genetics, belief systems, all of those things that are there.
00:42:43.900 Now, even today in societies that officially celebrate multiculturalism, we actually see
00:42:49.500 voluntary self-segregation is actually higher than it was before we had segregation laws.
00:42:55.160 And so everywhere we have neighborhoods and friendships and churches and marriages that
00:43:01.080 demonstrate that we actually prefer to be around people that are familiar to us, that look like us,
00:43:07.740 rather than multiculturalism. As much as they want to push that on us, generally speaking,
00:43:14.720 white people hang out with white people, black people hang out with black people.
00:43:18.200 It's why we have black neighborhoods and white neighborhoods. It's why we have Hispanic
00:43:22.080 neighborhoods and Chinatowns and Koreatowns. And we have Dearborn, Michigan, where the Arabs are
00:43:27.100 trying to take over our land. And we have, again, black churches that are, we have Hispanic
00:43:36.660 churches, we have Korean churches, all of those things. So some of these communities are shaped
00:43:41.820 by shared religion or national origin, but all of them are sustained by genetic similarity.
00:43:52.080 Okay. Skin color, likeness, right? Shared background. They have the same kind of
00:44:00.400 human preference for familiarity of one another. And so to speak of marriage as merely just kind
00:44:07.720 of like, well, you know, the differences are just intercultural while denying the significance of
00:44:13.220 the physical or visible likeness ignores kind of this embodied dimension that God has created.
00:44:20.360 It makes us Gnostic. Again, we have to see the physical and the spiritual. We can see the
00:44:27.180 physical and the cultural. And so again, the cultural is downstream from the genetic. And
00:44:35.440 those things are very important. So you're not just marrying somebody with a different culture,
00:44:39.700 you're marrying someone with different genetics that produces a different culture.
00:44:42.760 And so, yes, race is not the whole of culture.
00:44:48.960 Geography plays into those things about culture and religion plays into those things about
00:44:52.740 culture, but it's not irrelevant to it either.
00:44:55.860 It is one of the providential markers by which God has ordered human societies toward coherence
00:45:02.640 and continuity and stability and peace and harmony.
00:45:06.300 I often tell people multiculturalism is just a synonym for civil war. We're seeing that in
00:45:14.500 France this week as I record this episode. We're seeing this in all the mass migration to Europe.
00:45:20.100 Multiculturalism is a synonym for civil war. It eventually produces civil friction and tensions
00:45:27.700 because you have different genetic groups that produce different behaviors and patterns and
00:45:34.180 values. And even if you have the same religion, you still have, again, black churches and white
00:45:38.780 churches, different things that are going on there. And so if it causes problems in a city,
00:45:45.900 it's going to cause problems in your marriage. Now, again, you can overcome these things in
00:45:50.760 Christ, in the city, or in your marriage, but it doesn't erase that those difficulties really
00:45:57.800 exist. And so there are ways to live at peace. And historically, it is because you stay within
00:46:04.500 a country, within your own race. And that has been, now there's always been, again, a degree
00:46:08.800 of immigration that the Bible allows and that nations have allowed. What happens is that when
00:46:13.460 you have, the Bible never allows migration to become demographic replacement or to create
00:46:20.060 essentially competing parallel societies within a particular nation. That is a form of national
00:46:25.380 theft, and that is what we are experiencing at large scale here in the West. So again, there's
00:46:30.620 lots going on here, but science and sociology further support my point. So studies in evolutionary
00:46:37.260 psychology consistently show that humans exhibit in-group preference. And this is just, you can
00:46:44.480 look it up anywhere. And trusting and bonding are more readily occurring with those who share
00:46:53.860 visible and behavioral similarities. And this is not like moral corruption. This is actually a
00:47:01.480 survival mechanism embedded in God's creation. So theologically, this aligns with natural law,
00:47:07.420 right? God governs human behavior, not only through explicit commands, but also through
00:47:13.140 the created order itself. He gave us the design in Genesis chapter 10. How do we organize a nation?
00:47:19.620 by ancestry. First and foremost, by language. We don't want to have competing languages and
00:47:27.340 signs in Arabic and signs in Spanish and signs in English. That is not according to God's design
00:47:32.460 and God's design is good. Land, we want to be in a particular place together for human
00:47:38.980 flourishing and peace. And then we want to have, again, all the other things, shared religion and
00:47:44.460 shared loves and shared government and all of those things. And that is why America was such
00:47:50.260 a successful place. We were part of the same racial family. Yes, we had that kind of, again,
00:47:56.860 melting pot phrase there, but they were melting Germans with Italians and Italians with Irishmen
00:48:04.840 and Englishmen. And it was, again, one racial family that were melting together through adversity
00:48:10.800 and shifted into one nation together.
00:48:15.300 They were intermarrying, but again, the same race.
00:48:18.080 So that functioned.
00:48:19.580 It does not function when you have Hindus and Muslims
00:48:22.660 and Christians and Africans and Indians
00:48:26.500 and different people from South America.
00:48:30.160 It just doesn't function that way.
00:48:31.640 And we're finding that out now.
00:48:33.960 I often said, yeah, I might've even said it
00:48:36.180 in the last episode or last couple episodes,
00:48:37.880 but multiculturalism, or I'll say this,
00:48:40.700 nationalism leads to wars between nations. So family wars, right? So you're having World War
00:48:47.260 I and World War II, nationalism created wars between nations, but multiculturalism creates
00:48:52.180 wars within nations. So you can, again, you can either have foreign wars or you can have civil
00:48:57.160 wars. You get to pick. In a fallen world, we're going to have wars. By God's grace, maybe they
00:49:02.740 will slow down as the gospel continues to permeate the world. But the reality is, is that you can
00:49:07.220 have foreign wars, you can have civil wars, and I think everybody would prefer foreign wars. Now,
00:49:12.160 scripture never condemns preference for one's own people. In fact, I would say it commends
00:49:20.160 that we do have a preference for our own people. It is certainly the model that we see throughout
00:49:25.280 the Bible. In Genesis, we see Abraham explicitly instructing his servant Eleazar to secure a wife
00:49:32.060 for Isaac from among his own people rather than from the surrounding nations, from the surrounding
00:49:38.920 genetic families. That's Genesis chapter 24. And Isaac gives the same instruction for Jacob,
00:49:44.580 and that's Genesis 28, one through two. So this preference is presented not as prejudice,
00:49:51.900 but as wisdom aimed at preserving a covenantal continuity, a shared customs,
00:49:56.360 shared, you know, familial alignment. And again, we also see the Apostle Paul speak openly and
00:50:03.760 unapologetically about his affection for his preference for, quote, my kinsmen according to
00:50:09.020 the flesh, end quote. That's Romans 9.3. And that's demonstrating that ethnic and familial
00:50:16.520 loyalty are, again, not erased by Christian faith, but they're rightly ordered by Christian
00:50:23.720 faith. Having preference for your own people doesn't mean you hate other groups. I don't hate
00:50:28.060 black people. I don't hate Arab people. I don't hate Asians. I don't hate Mexicans. I don't hate
00:50:31.940 anybody. But I'm not going to just be blind and say that we have no distinctions. We do have
00:50:38.840 distinctions, and they're stark in some dimensions. But in Christ, can we still have great friends?
00:50:45.400 Absolutely. I want an Africa that's Christian. And it's also African. I want a China that's
00:50:54.100 Christian and also Chinese. I want a Japan that's Japanese and Christian. I want an England
00:51:01.260 that's English and Christian. I don't want it to be Muslim. And so these are very important
00:51:07.320 considerations to think about when we're talking about interracial marriage, because they are
00:51:12.960 certainly connected to all of these things. And so God's work of redemption does not eliminate
00:51:19.380 racial distinctions. It redeems people within those distinctions. And scripture consistently
00:51:26.700 portrays salvation as gathering real peoples, by the way, okay? Tribes, nations, and tongues.
00:51:33.220 They're all going to be Christian. It doesn't mean the tribes, nations, and tongues are going
00:51:36.080 to not exist anymore. No, they are going to exist in Christ's kingdom. We're not going to collapse
00:51:41.640 all into sameness. No, we're going to have Christian Germans. We're going to have Christian
00:51:48.940 Haitians. That's a good thing to have that mosaic. And so Christianity orders and sanctifies ethnic
00:51:57.300 and national differences under the lordship of Jesus Christ. Well, again, modern globalism
00:52:03.120 seeks to, what it's trying to do is it's trying to seek unity by flattening differences and erasing
00:52:09.360 continuity. And so it's funny because they all say that they're pro-diversity,
00:52:15.520 but the greatest way to maintain diversity is nationalism, not globalism. So when you start
00:52:23.760 doing globalism, it actually erases diversity. It actually makes everybody the same. But when you
00:52:31.780 have nationalism, where it means you have familyism, right? When you keep those genetic
00:52:37.520 families intact with borders, with limited immigration to them, immigration that you can
00:52:42.180 assimilate through intermarriage over periods of generations. When you have that, you actually
00:52:47.120 maintain the mosaic of diversity of peoples all across the world. And so Providence itself
00:52:55.560 confirms that diversity is not a bug, it's a feature. Scripture actually anticipates a restored
00:53:01.880 creation in which distinct nations, if you read Revelation, they're actually bringing their
00:53:06.940 unique national glories into his kingdom. Revelation chapter seven, verse nine, he talks
00:53:12.500 about in 21, I think it's 24 to 26, that whole area over there. But we should want, again, an
00:53:18.980 America that's American and Christian. We should want a Mexico that's Mexican and Christian.
00:53:23.880 We want those things. All of these groups, we want glorifying God, not by abandoning their
00:53:30.760 inherited identities that, and gosh, I mean, this is also so connected to the fifth commandment to
00:53:40.180 honor your father and mother. There, there's something truly here. And I'll talk about this
00:53:44.300 more in a minute, but, but that's part of it. It's, it's honoring the heritage in which you
00:53:50.640 came from. And again, at the racial level, and then at the ethnic level, it's obviously less
00:53:56.620 consequential, but at the racial level, I do believe that it is significantly consequential.
00:54:03.140 And so we don't want to flatten God's providential mosaic of differences. That's not progress. It's
00:54:10.240 a form of unnatural civilizational chaos that has produced more chaos. I don't think that we can say
00:54:16.660 that the West is at more peace than it was 65 years ago. We had problems then. We were still
00:54:23.320 sinful then. We still needed the lordship of Jesus Christ then. But now we have completely
00:54:27.700 different problems. In fact, I was watching a news story about mammals, if they're put into
00:54:36.580 environments that are chaotic or distrusting or unfamiliar, they won't reproduce. And so it takes
00:54:47.520 a lot for mammals to have a lot of shock for them to not reproduce. And so when you realize that we
00:54:54.600 have collapsing birth rates here in the United States and all across the West, there are more
00:55:00.900 people, by the way, there are more babies being born in Nigeria, the country of Nigeria, than all
00:55:07.980 of Europe and Russia combined. But just that one, but what's going on in Nigeria? No one's calling
00:55:16.240 for diversity in Nigeria. Everybody is having mono-ethnic or mono-racial or homogenous societies.
00:55:25.400 They're black marriages within black communities. And no one's saying that they're racist for not
00:55:32.080 importing millions upon millions of white people. No, this is not what's happening. And so
00:55:38.680 we are seeing that as multiculturalism takes root in the West, it is actually producing
00:55:45.920 in us, there's an isolating factor. There's actually studies that have been done on this
00:55:50.720 that show that the more foreigners that are entered into a particular city or state or nation,
00:55:57.780 people start to pull back and they tribalize. They start to hang out with smaller groups
00:56:02.440 instead of really sprawling out into the city. Now, again, I agree that differences in marriage
00:56:08.960 are not created by skin color alone,
00:56:12.400 but largely by cultural factors.
00:56:16.140 That's generally, that is a big factor.
00:56:18.720 But again, I'm not going to dismiss the behavioral,
00:56:24.780 the characteristics, the genetic side.
00:56:26.520 That's very important.
00:56:28.000 You need to think about those things
00:56:29.700 if you are considering where are you gonna marry
00:56:33.720 and what would your parents say?
00:56:35.600 And parents, you should be thinking about this
00:56:36.820 for your children and for your grandchildren
00:56:38.000 and for your descendants. It's individualism that has forced us to stop thinking about our
00:56:44.000 forefathers and also stop thinking about our descendants. We only think about ourselves
00:56:49.020 and it is completely abnormal to all of history. Now, many children that are actually coming from
00:56:57.420 mixed race households have actually spoken about this openly, about experiencing what they call
00:57:06.140 in the psychological sciences, identity confusion. And they're unsure of where they belong
00:57:12.060 because they're feeling only partially accepted by either group. And so these are, you know,
00:57:19.640 these aren't imaginary struggles. They're well-documented human experiences. Sociological
00:57:26.740 and psychological studies published over the past couple of decades, you got some NIH indexed
00:57:32.360 researched on multiracial identity development, data from the UK Millennium Cohort Study,
00:57:39.040 consistently that are noting increased identity tensions, that they have these kind of external
00:57:46.600 labeling pressures and challenges of belonging in a particular group when they have this mixed race
00:57:54.080 situation compared to the monoracial peers in their life. And so in a sense, these children
00:58:00.960 to become national orphans, they don't know where to be. So, you know, for example, a Korean,
00:58:08.740 and identity matters, right? Like you, God gave us national identities. He affirms these things.
00:58:14.420 You know, in the Great Commission, Jesus says, you know, go get the nations, baptize them in the
00:58:18.000 name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So the nations are Jesus's and we understand that
00:58:23.140 truth. And so to have a national inheritance is really good. It's a good thing. It's not something
00:58:30.720 to be squandered. You know, for example, when a Korean man in America marries, like say, a Haitian
00:58:38.060 woman in America, their children often grow up uncertain whether their primary identity is
00:58:44.860 Korean, Haitian, or American. And that's not good for national stability. And this confusion of
00:58:53.780 identity creates divided loyalties and civic instability. We're actually seeing this again,
00:58:59.740 you know, like Dearborn, Michigan. They were asking people, American news reporters were
00:59:06.960 asking Muslims in Dearborn, Michigan, if Iran attacked America, who would they support? Iran,
00:59:14.700 which is Muslim and Arab, or America? And they were saying they would support Iran.
00:59:20.260 Of course they would. Again, you're never going to get away from identity politics.
00:59:24.120 It's built in by God for our peace in a fallen world.
00:59:31.000 And again, you're going to have national wars, you're going to have civil wars.
00:59:33.440 You just get to choose.
00:59:34.980 And so for this reason, many nations throughout history until very recently outlawed or strongly
00:59:41.000 discouraged interracial marriage.
00:59:43.500 I want to think about this just for like, think about our nation is built on this concept
00:59:48.760 of you will have a trial, a fair trial with a jury of your peers.
00:59:53.860 Now think about a jury of your peers.
00:59:55.980 What did that mean when that was created
00:59:57.780 by the founders of America?
01:00:00.920 Well, we know that America had a law for naturalization
01:00:04.920 that only white people were allowed to be naturalized
01:00:07.540 in the United States.
01:00:08.680 And that was all the way until 1965.
01:00:11.200 I mean, obviously there was the heritage of American blacks
01:00:13.280 that came through after the civil war.
01:00:16.620 But what I'm saying is that up until 1965,
01:00:18.560 you couldn't have immigration from non-European nations,
01:00:21.740 except for like, I don't know, one or 2% of the immigration that came through there. Very,
01:00:26.100 very small. But now we have all this mass immigration and you have a jury of your peers.
01:00:31.760 So if you're standing there as a white guy, you're a white Christian man, and the jury is made up of
01:00:35.540 a Hindu woman, two black guys, a Muslim man, an Asian atheist, two women, all of these things,
01:00:48.080 you go, are these truly your peers? Is peers just their fellow humans? Have we dropped the
01:00:55.480 distinctions? Oh, just as long as someone else has a pulse, that is considered a peer. Well,
01:01:00.400 if that was the case, why would you even need to qualify that? Why would you need to say peers?
01:01:07.440 No. Historically, it was, if you were to be judged in America, you would be judged by other white
01:01:13.440 men, generally other white Christian men. And so you could consider a fair trial,
01:01:19.940 but now you have the identity politics that are playing into your trial at so many different
01:01:24.120 levels. It's just dangerous. Think about also like national security for a second. Let's just say
01:01:29.880 that you have, um, okay. White people seem to be the only people, not the only people, but there
01:01:36.380 are many people in the, in the military. We have lots of white people that are joined in the
01:01:40.540 military. But at some point are, are, you know, the, all the H-1B visas that are coming here from
01:01:48.520 India, are they going to, are they going to sign up and fight our wars? What if we're fighting
01:01:55.380 against India? Are they going to do that? What about the Muslims? Are they going to come and
01:02:00.480 sign up for our militaries? No, they're not going to. What about the Americans? Are we going to sign
01:02:05.240 up to fight wars, to protect Muslims and Hindus who actually hate us and are trying to steal our
01:02:11.080 land. No, this is going to create a massive problem. When you have mass migration and
01:02:18.540 multiculturalism, you lack national stability and continuity, and it makes you weak. And then
01:02:24.320 another nation that does have homogenous national cohesion is going to come in and attack us.
01:02:31.520 And they're going to create tribal wars. It's just, you got to think about these. This is
01:02:35.080 how all of history thought about this. And so no nation wants large numbers of citizens with split
01:02:43.840 allegiances. Even President Theodore Roosevelt warned strongly against this danger. His famous
01:02:50.900 1915 speech, it's called hyphenated Americanism. You should check it out. But he said, quote,
01:02:56.680 there is no room in this country for hyphenated Americanism. The one absolutely certain way of
01:03:02.440 bringing this nation to ruin, of preventing all possibility of it continuing to be a nation at all
01:03:08.120 would be to permit it to become a tangle of squabbling nationalities. We have room for
01:03:14.740 but one flag, the American flag. We have room for but one language here, and that is the English
01:03:21.500 language. And we have room for but one sole loyalty, and that is a loyalty to the American
01:03:28.320 people, end quote. That was 1915. That was like a hundred years ago. So Roosevelt understood that
01:03:35.640 a healthy nation requires a unified people with a common identity and undivided loyalty. And so
01:03:41.760 when citizens feel more attached to their ancestral ethnic group than to the nation they
01:03:47.540 live in itself, okay, the social fabric begins to unravel. Now, in addition to the children,
01:03:56.080 many grandparents actually have quietly expressed difficulty forming the same sense of natural
01:04:02.780 connection with grandchildren who do not resemble them physically. Again, they actually mentioned
01:04:10.360 that they're actually not willing to say this publicly because their fear of being accused
01:04:15.740 of rejecting diversity or being labeled racist. But this is a real thing. It's a real thing to
01:04:21.780 not feel. It's not strange to not feel connected to someone who doesn't look like you in the same
01:04:30.640 way that you feel connected to someone who does look like you. And so you got to work through
01:04:35.720 those things. We haven't been talking about that, but that was, I think, naturally understood
01:04:40.460 in previous generations. And so this matters also because it intersects with, again, the fifth
01:04:48.200 commandment, honor your father and mother, Exodus 20 verse 12, which again, I'm not going to get
01:04:53.800 fully into here, but sociological research on kinship and attachment has long noted
01:05:00.660 that perceived physical resemblance strengthens feelings of familiarity and continuity and
01:05:09.000 relational bonding across generations. And it's making, this is a human reality. It's not a moral
01:05:17.740 failure. You know, we understand our bodies and our genetics and all like we are, we want to have
01:05:25.760 that natural familiarity with our children. Now, this is the type of issue that I'm referring to
01:05:36.320 when I make claims that interracial marriage is not ideal. I don't think it's the ideal. I don't
01:05:43.060 think it's the norm. Now, they often come with additional hurdles that can make marriage and
01:05:51.700 family life even more difficult, right? Sure, again, those hurdles can be overcome by crisis,
01:05:55.120 as I said earlier, and they often are. But pretending that they don't exist, again,
01:05:58.980 is just naive. And so the reason many insist that they do exist is that any form of racial
01:06:04.560 preference is now, again, labeled racist, especially when it's expressed by white people.
01:06:09.240 but grace and the gospel do not require the denial of physical reality. And so a Christian
01:06:18.340 farm boy from Ohio and a Christian woman from Sudan, they can technically marry in Christ
01:06:24.460 and God may bless that union, but it does not follow that such a marriage is equally ideal
01:06:31.540 or equally free from the added difficulty as those Christians who married within their race
01:06:38.780 and their culture. It's just not. It's just like on its face, easy to see that you are going to
01:06:45.920 have more complicated realities, not just culturally. You're going to have two different
01:06:52.160 genetic families with many generations of genetic attributes that are going to be unfamiliar to
01:06:58.480 both sides. You're also going to potentially have different IQ levels and how that's going to pan
01:07:03.780 out. It's not just about attraction or sexuality. This is why arranged marriages existed. We've
01:07:11.060 made these things so individualized that it's all about us in the now and what I want to do
01:07:16.160 and because I think this girl is beautiful and et cetera, et cetera. And so that is to deny that
01:07:21.360 racial and cultural differences can affect how easy or difficult a marriage is and how natural
01:07:29.480 and harmonious or ideal it may be, you know, if you have familiarity or likeness. And so, again,
01:07:39.540 you have degrees of likeness, right? Again, so, you know, you have people in America, you know,
01:07:45.640 again, you have my wife with kind of this kind of Spanish-Italian, actually more Italian than
01:07:50.360 Spanish, but background. But we both grew up in the same culture and the same structure. And we
01:07:55.840 know kind of that, you know, our families have been in the same territory for, you know, many
01:07:59.620 generations. That's different. But again, if you have somebody from France and Germany, if you have
01:08:04.620 somebody from Haiti and Ireland, man, those are, you're going to have incredible tensions that are
01:08:11.920 going on there. So, um, you know, when people respond to like, all you need is Jesus, like all
01:08:18.060 you need is Jesus. Like, again, that's technically true. Like, yes, I, yes. And amen. Um, it's, I
01:08:23.780 think it's a cheap answer. It sidesteps the real tensions and the real pains that can arise when
01:08:29.360 unity must be achieved and forged across these kind of deep cultural and racial divides rather
01:08:35.480 than largely inherited through kind of shared history and shared likeness that comes through
01:08:40.860 monoracial marriages. Now, ironically, the harshest criticism of my positions is generally
01:08:48.100 these people that are against interracial marriage actually comes from, not from interracial couples
01:08:54.480 who have lived experience, but from white monoracial couples unfamiliar with any of
01:09:00.300 these difficulties. And their white guilt has thoroughly conditioned them to believe that any
01:09:06.040 racial preference is again, inherently racist. Now, to be clear, I don't believe that interracial
01:09:11.360 marriage is sinful. But I do believe, well, I'll say this. I don't believe that it's sinful,
01:09:17.880 but I do not believe it is biblically normative or historical. Of all the recorded marriages
01:09:24.800 in scripture, 95% are monoracial. That's a rough number. But think about Abraham and Sarah or
01:09:33.240 Joseph and Mary, right? About 4% are interethnic, Boaz and Ruth. Again, people like to use that as
01:09:41.300 an example that they were interracial marriage. They're not interracial marriage. They're
01:09:43.860 interethnic marriage. They both come from Shem and they lived like, I don't know, 80 miles away
01:09:50.480 from each other. They came from the same geography, the same culture. They understood the same foods,
01:09:54.600 all that stuff, right? Sure. Different backgrounds, maybe different religions, et cetera.
01:09:58.820 But less than 1% of marriages in the Bible are interracial. Yes, you have Joseph and Asenath.
01:10:09.000 uh you know again that's a unique exception because he's he's brought in there as a slave
01:10:15.180 um you have um solomon and rahab uh there's also again unique extraordinary circumstances
01:10:21.720 um but they are they are uh rare circumstances so if you're called to be a missionary to a foreign
01:10:29.940 land and you want to fully integrate for the sake of saving the nation for christ you may intermarry
01:10:35.700 Um, you, uh, you know, if you're a, say a prisoner of war and you're faced, you know,
01:10:41.220 kind of with a unique circumstance like Joseph, you may find out that you may need to intermarry.
01:10:47.720 Um, but it's different if you're like intermarrying with another race because of
01:10:52.500 self-hatred of your own heritage or aggravating your parents, um, or because you want to show
01:10:59.260 how accepting of diversity you really are. Uh, and that sounds wild, but it's actually quite
01:11:04.700 common. I've actually had people that have emailed me or messaged me over the last year or two that
01:11:09.800 have actually noticed that that was one of the reasons why they actually made their choice.
01:11:13.980 And they've wondered now if it was a sinful desire, a wrong or an incorrect motive.
01:11:21.240 And again, we saw this similar dynamic with the adoption of foreign children in the early 2000s,
01:11:28.440 where many white Americans didn't want American children. They specifically wanted African
01:11:33.940 children. And again, I'm not saying that that's bad. In many cases, it's actually, it's good,
01:11:38.460 right? Adoption is always good. But what I am saying is that we don't see that motivation
01:11:43.640 anywhere in history, which tells me that many people, again, especially whites,
01:11:48.820 have been conditioned by modern multiculturalism to not prefer their own people.
01:11:55.500 You know, Stephen Wolf talks about that white people are our own in-groups, out-group,
01:12:02.340 meaning that we actually just don't prefer,
01:12:05.780 like every group has in-group preference.
01:12:09.000 Blacks have in-group preference
01:12:10.220 and different nations,
01:12:11.880 Hispanics might have in-group preference
01:12:13.160 or Arabs or Jews have in-group preferences.
01:12:17.280 Whites don't have in-group preference.
01:12:19.120 In fact, we actually constantly push away our own preference.
01:12:25.620 I don't know if it's just kind of a masochistic desire
01:12:29.060 for honor.
01:12:29.960 I don't know if it's post-war consensus.
01:12:31.840 there's lots of theories behind that. If it's white guilt, whatever it may be, but they want
01:12:37.720 to prove that they're not racist, whatever it is. But we don't see that throughout history,
01:12:42.900 the idea of adopting foreign babies. Again, if you're a missionary and you went to Africa and
01:12:50.160 used to live there for a few years and you found this baby, like, yes, adopt that baby, for God's
01:12:53.980 sake, that is a good thing. But again, going like, there are kids that need to be adopted in your
01:12:59.940 own state. And instead you're going to like fly over and, and, you know, adopt other babies. And
01:13:05.320 again, I know the arguments of extreme, you know, if we didn't adopt them, they would probably die,
01:13:08.920 et cetera, et cetera. I get it. But I'm just saying it is a modern phenomenon and it's something that
01:13:14.580 we should at least examine our own motives and determine, was there anything involved in this
01:13:20.700 decision that was, again, maybe not even maliciously or intentionally, but were we
01:13:28.240 conditioned by our own culture to believe that it was important to demonstrate or to signal to the
01:13:34.100 watching world that we're not racist. And look, I can prove it. I've adopted black children.
01:13:39.280 I don't know. I don't know if that's, I can't examine your heart, but I'm just saying is that
01:13:43.140 I think that it's probably true for at least one person. I mean, I think it's true for a lot of
01:13:47.840 people, but I think it's probably something that it's worth at least examining. Now, what makes
01:13:52.320 this controversy even more revealing is how far our society has gone in denying the reality of race
01:13:57.380 and culture in the name of, again, modern egalitarianism. So prior to World War II,
01:14:02.100 my position was widely assumed rather than debated, okay? Even the Puritans, again,
01:14:08.000 the Puritans are, you know, they're celebrated across the Presbyterians, the Reform,
01:14:11.500 the Anglican traditions. Again, they viewed interracial marriage not just as imprudent,
01:14:16.820 but unlawful, okay? The majority of the 13 colonies had laws against interracial marriage.
01:14:25.540 and again while those laws were gradually repealed over time 16 states still had those laws on the
01:14:34.300 books during the supreme court loving versus virginia in 1967 and so whatever one thinks
01:14:43.280 of those policies today they reflect a near universal pre-modern assumption shared race
01:14:50.600 and culture were understood to promote marital stability, familial continuity,
01:15:01.140 national harmony, social cohesion. Everybody understood this. It's not even an argument.
01:15:09.560 So to be clear, I am not arguing for outlying interracial marriage. It should not be illegal
01:15:16.900 in my argument, in my view, but it should at least prompt Christians to ask why nearly every
01:15:26.600 pre-modern theologian, magistrate, scientist, anthropologist, church, society, institution,
01:15:33.020 approached marriage opposite to the way that we think about it today. And so for many faithful
01:15:39.400 Christian pastors and theologians, this perspective was, again, it was rooted in covenant theology and
01:15:45.760 understanding the fifth commandment to honor your father and mother. And it was historically
01:15:49.300 interpreted not merely as personal choice, but again, as covenant loyalty to one's household,
01:15:58.020 to one's lineage, to one's descendants, to peoplehood. So marriage was seen as, again,
01:16:02.660 a generational act, not just this private individual choice that affects nobody but
01:16:06.900 you and your spouse. That's a very important distinction. That's what individualism has
01:16:10.740 come in and done. So to honor one's parents included honoring what they had stewarded
01:16:15.340 across generations, which includes genetics and faith and customs and land and peoplehood,
01:16:19.260 et cetera. And so for a man whose family had lived within the same people for many generations,
01:16:24.400 marrying within that heritage was viewed as a part of honoring your father and your mother and
01:16:28.420 continuing the continuity and the homogeneity and the strength of the nation that he lived in
01:16:33.820 and that he inherited and that he had covenanted with. And so again, modern individualism,
01:16:40.000 multiculturalism have just basically shattered this kind of biblical understanding
01:16:43.600 by redefining honor as its personal autonomy rather than inherited stewardship. Now, in doing
01:16:51.720 so, what it's done is that it's essentially severed marriage from ancestry. And that's the
01:16:55.240 big point. It's severing marriage from ancestry and from lineage and obligation to those who came
01:17:03.460 before you and to those who are coming after you. Again, it's made it all about you. And as we wrote
01:17:08.920 earlier in our church statement that I read, if you love your racial or ethnic heritage,
01:17:14.040 you should not want to dilute that, or you should want to essentially hand that down to your own
01:17:20.240 children if possible. And I think that's a good thing. I think that's like a general principle
01:17:25.520 that you should consider. And so globally, this pattern also persists basically everywhere but
01:17:32.020 the West, right? Africa and Asia, the Middle East, their monoracial marriages are the norm,
01:17:37.580 okay? They're not just the norm, they're like overwhelmingly so. And not because they hate
01:17:44.160 other peoples, but because they share the visible likeness. They haven't been tainted by globalism
01:17:50.020 and multiculturalism. They share the same languages and all those things that we talked about earlier.
01:17:54.880 So for most of church history, Christians understood that marriage flourishes most
01:18:00.640 naturally where faith is shared, yes, but where the inherited structures of life are also shared.
01:18:07.160 So ancestry and likeness and place and languages and customs, when all those things are aligned.
01:18:13.640 And again, this was not treated as exclusionary or unloving, but as a sober recognition of how God
01:18:19.200 ordinarily orders human flourishing in a fallen world. If you want to go against God's, rebel
01:18:25.140 against God's design that he lays out in scripture, you can do that. And you can even do that as a
01:18:29.820 Christian. But I'm saying is that there is more harmony at scale, right? At scale. So, all right,
01:18:36.400 is it good for someone to mate all of, okay, is it sinful to have a horse and a mule mate? No.
01:18:48.000 Now, is it sinful at scale if you took all of the horses and all of the mules and you mated them?
01:18:54.140 Well, then you just eliminated two species through deliberate replacement. And I think
01:19:03.300 that's kind of what the goal of the globalistic world is, is that it's just this like intentionality
01:19:10.040 to try to produce a form of white genocide, which again, I talked about Joel's book that's recently
01:19:17.320 coming out. And so again, you know, yes, we live in a fallen world. Christ can and does overcome
01:19:27.840 areas where couples lack that racial or cultural or ethnic alignment. But acknowledging grace in
01:19:36.260 your marriage does not require denying the difficulty that has come through maybe not
01:19:41.120 marrying within your particular race or whatever distance maybe you went off into. And a lot of
01:19:47.700 people, they did. They grew up in a multicultural society in the West. And so I think that's why
01:19:51.880 this is a very relevant topic for this generation. I don't think that you should leave your spouse
01:19:56.760 If you're an interracial marriage, I think you should, if you're believers, you should love one
01:20:00.120 another and you should work through that, let Christ overcome those things. And I think that,
01:20:05.840 but it's a worthy discussion that Christians need to have. You know, wisdom, you know,
01:20:11.040 allows us to name kind of these real hurdles without questioning the worth of people that
01:20:15.060 are involved. Again, there's not any moral failure in a man or a woman seeking a marriage marked by
01:20:21.860 the greatest harmony possible. So yes, if you want to find a marriage that someone is closest to you
01:20:28.820 that comes from the same genetic family as you, I think that's a good thing. I think it's the
01:20:31.900 biblical model. I think that's correct and right. So the impulse toward alignment is not some sort
01:20:37.900 of betrayal of Christian love. It's an expression of wisdom. And finally, again, I just want to make
01:20:43.680 it very clear that none of this argument rests on the claim that meaning or value or dignity is
01:20:48.460 tied to race. Scripture is unequivocal that all people are made in the image of God, they're all
01:20:54.380 fallen, and they're all in need of redemption in Jesus Christ. And I'm not speaking of a hierarchy
01:20:58.900 of worth, but rather providential distinctions in history and geography and prophecy, and again,
01:21:05.680 more of the civilizational output and how marriage really is a part of this greater discussion,
01:21:12.360 and that we can't talk about nations if we don't talk about marriage, because again,
01:21:15.520 nations are just essentially marriage groups, large numbers and large quantities of those
01:21:23.320 marriages. And so faithful Christianity doesn't pretend that these distinctions do not exist.
01:21:29.680 It learns how to live rightly within them, ordering your loves and your marriage and your
01:21:36.080 family according to the gospel, rather than maybe the liberal left social pressures of the day.
01:21:41.660 So I maintain my position. Again, interracial marriage is not sinful, but it is not normative.
01:21:48.580 It is not ordinary. It is not encouraged under most circumstances. And especially it is not
01:21:57.380 good that it is being pushed upon us by the left for purposes of demographic replacement
01:22:04.800 and confusion in the West.
01:22:07.780 So that's a wrap for this episode of American Glory.
01:22:11.740 I hope it was helpful for you.
01:22:13.540 I know it was a lot, it's a heavy topic
01:22:14.840 and it's easy to be misunderstood.
01:22:17.240 I'm sure somebody's gonna take clips of this
01:22:19.140 and take it out of context and say that I hate,
01:22:20.940 you know, all different people besides white people
01:22:22.640 or something.
01:22:23.160 That's not the case.
01:22:25.140 And I hope that it's just helpful
01:22:26.520 for those that are honest seekers and skeptics
01:22:29.700 and wanting to understand this topic more.
01:22:32.160 I'm hoping that I can work on my book next year
01:22:34.340 quite a bit and really get something that has some significant study and research and
01:22:38.340 really offers a historical theological position. Now, if you don't already, you can follow me on
01:22:44.460 X, on Instagram, on YouTube. I'm posting new content every day. Would love to have you
01:22:48.980 join me on that. Again, my featured product for this episode is the ReLearn app,
01:22:55.520 which has over a thousand incredible Christian audiobooks. They're all actually hand curated by
01:23:00.800 me. I know that sounds crazy, but they are actually hand curated by me. I built this library
01:23:06.340 over the past several years, and we have really high quality audio narrators. They're all human
01:23:11.840 narrators. You can listen to them all for $7.99 a month. It's a great way to support me and my
01:23:18.360 ministry that I do out here just outside of NXR and outside of our local church. But there are
01:23:25.980 tons of excellent books for kids and for wives and for husbands and for singles, all coming from
01:23:30.600 a really strong Christian perspective. You can download the app at the App Store or on Google
01:23:35.720 Play. Now, next week, I'm going to be discussing birth control, where it came from, who's behind
01:23:40.280 it, how it should be viewed, how it's been killing a huge portion of the American people.
01:23:49.200 So my name is Dale Partridge. Thank you for
01:23:51.300 watching or listening to American Glory. I'll see you next week.
01:24:00.600 Everything we do here at NXR Studios is simply one part of a three-pronged approach to winning
01:24:15.000 America for Christ. On the ground, we have our local church, where I preach the Bible and
01:24:21.000 administer word and sacrament. Here at NXR Studios, we focus on politics and culture.
01:24:27.440 But we have a third organization that I am the president of,
01:24:32.080 Right Response Ministries, that sits between the church and NXR Studios.
01:24:37.380 Right Response Ministries puts out weekly written and audio content
01:24:41.600 focused on theology, discipleship, and the church at large.
01:24:46.560 If you'd like to support what we do over there,
01:24:49.400 Right Response Ministries is a 501c3 charitable organization,
