In this episode of Daily Truth, Pastor Ken teaches on the role of parents in shaping their children, and how they are not responsible for their kids. God is responsible for all of us, and we are all responsible for each other. And yet at the same time, when it comes to the New Covenant, no one is immune from moral culpability.
00:00:19.000And one major way that you can help to expand the reach and effectiveness of this ministry
00:00:24.160that doesn't cost you a dime is by spending just a few moments leaving us a five-star review.
00:00:31.320Also, perhaps even more effective than that, you can share our podcast with a friend.
00:00:36.580We hope you'll take the time to do so. Thank you so much. God bless.
00:00:42.300Jesus said, man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the
00:00:47.040mouth of God. You're listening to Daily Truth.
00:00:49.940I think that there are certain applications that we can draw from this
00:00:57.980for any generation, any culture, any nation, and any time period.
00:01:04.500But there are times that God, in His just wrath,
00:01:11.140will withhold certain covenant blessings from a generation of children.
00:01:16.720Not because those children themselves have rebelled against God, but as a sign, as a ratification, as a confirmation to their parents that they have failed the Lord, that they have rebelled against the Lord and that the Lord is indeed displeased with them.
00:01:39.340and i think that at least at some level that's part of what we're experiencing
00:01:45.100in western civilization today now for a whole biblical theology in assessing the current
00:01:54.780situation the reality is that god holds each individual person morally responsible for their
00:02:02.700sin. So this is not to say that anyone is innocent or that anyone is immune from moral
00:02:11.540culpability. Younger generations who have grown up and are now 20 years old, 30 years old, 40 years
00:02:21.000old, by this point, certainly they themselves have made many choices either to submit to the
00:02:30.180lordship of Jesus Christ or to rebel against him. And they will be held accountable for their own
00:02:37.180choices. They will receive rewards for obedience and just sanctions and judgments, not only in this
00:02:46.040life, but certainly the life to come for whatever rebellion they've participated in. But to pretend
00:02:54.580that each individual person is making decisions
00:02:58.440either in obedience to God or rebellion against him
