Every ounce of love for sin that is in every one of our hearts, even now, even the most noble and sanctified Christian among us has chambers of his or her heart that still are sustaining and holding affection for sin. How we long for that to finally be removed!
00:01:25.220I would say that more often than not, the times when that is not our greatest desire are those times when we are forgetting the heaviness of life.
00:01:42.080But when we're reminded, oh, how we long for the life to come.
00:01:48.420this is why it's good that we would gather as saints that we would be a part of a local body
00:01:55.900of christ because there are times where in god's providence and in his kindness we ourselves
00:02:02.540personally are not suffering and even in the realm of sin we ourselves are experiencing certain
00:02:09.320victory and repentance and we are celebrating the victories that god is giving us in holiness
00:02:16.200and sanctification and yet the beauty of belonging to the body of christ is that when we celebrate
00:02:22.000we can be sure that someone else suffers and so we can still experience not our own suffering but
00:02:29.840the suffering and sin of others that helps us even in the moments of joy to still long
00:02:35.940for christ's return thanks so much for listening but real quick before you go do us a small favor
00:02:42.420take a moment and leave us a five-star review if you enjoyed the show. This is undoubtedly
00:02:47.760the best way that you can help us get this biblically faithful content
00:02:51.880to as many people as possible. Thanks so much.
