In Ephesians 1:14-15, we see that God does all things for the elect, with those that he has chosen according to his foreknowledge before the foundations of the world, and according to His foresight before the foundation of the earth. God is all powerful, all omnibenevolent, all omnipotent, all loving, and all omnipresent. He is the judge of the living and the dead, the righteous judge who shows no partiality, the judge who is fair, always fair, never lenient, but also never harsh. It is unjust for that perfect judge to punish the same crime twice, for God is unjust, unrighteous, fair, and never harsh, because God is the wage for sin. The wages of sin is death, which is the eternal death. All will die once they die physically at the end of this life, but some will die forever, that is the second death that they will go to hell. Some people will pay themselves by spending eternity in hell. Others will pay for their sins under God s just judgment. And God will not subject his son to that punishment.
