00:00:00.000 All right, listen, guys, I get it.
00:00:02.080 Many of you are unable to financially support this ministry
00:00:04.780 because you're spending your cash and your lives
00:00:07.080 on raising young children
00:00:08.680 in the fear and admonition of the Lord.
00:00:10.720 Praise God for you and that endeavor.
00:00:13.840 However, algorithms are a thing.
00:00:16.360 Shadow banning, sadly, is a thing.
00:00:18.580 And one major way that you can help to expand
00:00:21.760 the reach and effectiveness of this ministry
00:00:24.160 that doesn't cost you a dime
00:00:25.880 is by spending just a few moments
00:00:28.220 leaving us a five-star review. Also, perhaps even more effective than that, you can share
00:00:34.780 our podcast with a friend. We hope you'll take the time to do so. Thank you so much. God bless.
00:00:42.320 Jesus said, man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the
00:00:47.040 mouth of God. You're listening to Daily Truth. I especially want us to think about this in
00:00:55.240 terms of society as a whole. How a whole society can be placed underneath God's judgment. And if
00:01:06.040 they do not repent of their sin, how that society is progressively handed over further and further
00:01:14.260 to their sin. And remember, sin is its own consequence. Sin is its own judgment. It's not
00:01:23.480 the end all be all the exclusive and final judgment there is an eternal judgment for sin
00:01:29.200 but sin it carries with it natural consequences that are destructive and harmful and in that sense
00:01:37.320 sin is its own punishment let me read a little bit further now apart from god's saving grace
00:01:43.860 which is found only in christ jesus all people have embraced their own rebellion by casting
00:01:51.700 off the righteous rule of God and his law. Therefore, on one level, Romans chapter 1,
00:01:58.380 verse 24 through 32 applies to each and every individual who has ever been born. However,
00:02:04.660 on another level, Romans chapter 1, 24 through 32 also applies to collective societies and cultures
00:02:12.760 down through human history. At the Tower of Babel, for instance, arrogant sinners defied God
00:02:19.760 and incurred his just judgment at Sodom and Gomorrah. 0.64
00:02:24.080 The people were so corrupt that God rained down fire
00:02:27.920 and consumed their cities.
00:02:30.420 Furthermore, when God told Moses and Joshua 0.74
00:02:33.180 to utterly destroy the Canaanites, 1.00
00:02:36.000 it was because these wicked and godless people 1.00
00:02:39.040 had filled up the full measure of God's wrath
00:02:43.080 by committing heinous acts of rebellion for over 400 years.
00:02:48.080 We see that in Genesis chapter 15, verses 13 through 16.
00:02:52.680 God says this to Abraham.
00:02:54.500 He says, you're going to live out your years here on earth, 0.56
00:02:57.300 live a long life,
00:02:58.280 but eventually I'm going to bring your descendants back here 1.00
00:03:02.340 to take over the land,
00:03:03.500 because right now the wicked inhabitants who live in this place,
00:03:08.000 they are not yet ready for my judgment.
00:03:11.220 But 400 years from now, under namely Joshua,
00:03:15.180 400 years from Abraham, 1.00
00:03:16.380 it'll be time to expel the wicked inhabitants of this land for the fullness of their iniquity 1.00
00:03:22.960 will be complete, right? Because God is slow to anger. God is long-suffering. God is not a God
00:03:30.960 who is indefinitely tolerant. God is not eternally tolerant. God is patient. There's a difference
00:03:39.240 between indefinite tolerance
00:03:42.400 versus momentary patience.
00:03:46.080 So God is patient.
00:03:47.580 God is kind.
00:03:48.800 But God is also just.
00:03:50.720 And so whether it be Sodom and Gomorrah
00:03:52.500 or whether it be the Tower of Babel 0.82
00:03:53.980 or whether it be the seven Canaanite tribes
00:03:56.820 in the land of promise,
00:03:58.380 that the Israelites eventually 0.99
00:04:00.480 drove out of the land
00:04:03.340 because they were under God's judgment
00:04:05.380 400 years later from the promise
00:04:07.940 that God spoke to Abraham
00:04:09.140 in all these instances, what we see is not just eternal consequences for sin, namely hell,
00:04:15.460 but earthly, temporal consequences for sin, and not just for an individual person who is in sin,
00:04:22.520 but for societies. That's my point. So there is a principle of sin being its own judgment,
00:04:30.000 its own consequence in this life, not just at an individual level, but also at a societal level.
00:04:37.000 All right, hold up. You're not going to want to miss this. I'm going to tell you exactly how our
00:04:41.140 spring 2024 conference is going to go down. Here's the title of the conference,
00:04:45.720 Blueprints for Christendom 2.0. Subtitle, Seven Doctrines for Ruling the World. We're going to
00:04:52.020 have seven primary sessions covering each of these doctrines for ruling the world righteously.
00:04:58.640 Number one, Reformed Confessionalism. That's going to be Pastor Doug Wilson preaching on
00:05:03.820 that topic. Then we've got covenant theology with Pastor Brian Sauve. Then we've got biblical
00:05:09.220 patriarchy with Pastor Michael Foster. Then we've got presuppositionalism with Dr. Joseph Boot.
00:05:15.700 Then we've got Kuyperianism, all of Christ for all of life, where we're going to welcome Pastor
00:05:21.120 Doug Wilson back for a second session. Then we've got general equity theonomy. We're going to have
00:05:26.780 Dr. Joseph Boot come and do a second session on that topic. And then lastly, we'll have Pastor
00:05:31.960 Dale Partridge on post-millennial eschatology. In addition to these seven sessions, we're also
00:05:37.800 going to have not one, but two live podcasts. On the first day of the conference, that's Friday,
00:05:44.100 March 1st, we're going to have a live Theology Applied podcast. I'll be on the stage hosting
00:05:49.380 the discussion with Douglas Wilson, Michael Foster, and Eric Kahn from It's Good to Be a Man.
00:05:55.440 The topic is going to be all about biblical patriarchy. We're going to specifically be
00:06:00.160 parsing out, distinguishing the biblical doctrinal differences between patriarchy
00:06:05.460 and complementarianism. Again, that's Friday, March 1st, the first day of the conference,
00:06:10.700 a live theology applied podcast on biblical patriarchy. Then we're going to have the next day,
00:06:16.740 that's Saturday, March 2nd, a live haunted cosmos podcast. I'll be hosting this discussion with
00:06:23.080 Brian Sauve and Ben Garrett. We're going to be talking about the Nephilim. We're going to be
00:06:27.320 talking about the watchers. We're going to be talking about what creatures currently are
00:06:31.360 living underneath the surface of the earth and chasms of the deep. It's going to be wacky. It's
00:06:35.960 going to be weird, but it will also be thoroughly biblical and incredibly unhinged. So you're not
00:06:41.720 going to want to miss these two live podcasts, Theology Applied on Friday, March 1st, the first
00:06:47.260 day of the conference on biblical patriarchy with Doug Wilson, Michael Foster, Eric Kahn, and myself.
00:06:52.880 And then the next day of the conference, Saturday, March 2nd, a live Haunted Cosmos podcast with Brian Sauve and Ben Garrett and myself on the Nephilim, the Watchers, and what lies under the surface of the earth.
00:07:06.620 And then the conference will hold over for one final, the third and final day.
00:07:10.700 That's going to be the Lord's Day, Sunday, March 3rd, where one of our speakers will be holding over to preach the Lord's Day sermon, and I'll be leading us in worship through the liturgy.
00:07:21.260 So we've got three days, a Friday, Saturday, Sunday, March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of 2024,
00:07:28.000 blueprints for Christendom 2.0, seven doctrines for ruling the world.
00:07:32.800 You're not going to want to miss this conference.
00:07:34.620 Our early bird rate is still available, but only for a very short period of time.
00:07:39.920 We are ending the early bird rate on August 31st at 1159 p.m.
00:07:45.300 That will be the final chance to get into this conference at an affordable, cheap rate.
00:07:51.260 All right, so go and take advantage of the early bird rate right now by going to
00:07:55.240 rightresponseconference.com. Again, that's rightresponseconference.com to register for
00:08:02.380 blueprints for Chrysidom 2.0, March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, 2024. Register today.
