00:00:00.000 now in the ritual uh you're supposed to have hyssop i have also hyssop that is from the actual ritual
00:00:07.920 and also the red heifer ashes and these get put into a clay jar and then sprinkled on people in
00:00:15.680 a healing ritual and it removes the impurity of death and allows for people to heal here's the
00:00:22.320 thing the i think the most fundamental difference between judaism and christianity is that judaism
00:00:28.800 actually believes in reincarnation.
00:00:31.340 And so the Messiah is here in every generation.
00:00:34.660 And there's a process by which we are awakened enough to accept the Messiah.
00:00:40.800 So if the Messiah doesn't come, he dies, he's reconstituted,
00:00:44.740 born into the matrix again, and has to find his way back to another thing.
00:00:49.480 We can't build the temple until this happened.
00:00:52.840 And now that this happened, the Messiah can come build the third temple in Jerusalem.
00:00:58.800 why because like i said we cannot build the temple we don't have the ability we don't have permission 0.99
00:01:05.120 we will only do it when the messiah come but when the messiah come none of these radical muslim 0.95
00:01:11.440 nazi murderers will be left in the world anyway there will be not one anti-semite left in the 0.98
00:01:17.520 world they will not have what to worry about if we will build the third temple they won't be around 0.92
00:01:23.280 anyway. They will enjoy the place as long as they are here. But when God will send the Messiah to
00:01:31.380 purify the world, as it's written in all the prophets, not one wicked Jew and not one wicked 1.00
00:01:37.880 Gentile will be left in the world. And it got me thinking about another miracle that I hope all of 0.99
00:01:43.980 you don't see too far away because 1917 was a miracle 1948 was a miracle 1967 was a miracle
00:01:53.880 2017 the declaration of jerusalem as the capital was a miracle and there's no reason why the
00:02:00.920 miracle of the re-establishment of the temple on the temple mount is not possible
00:02:05.720 I don't know how it would happen
00:02:13.480 you don't know how it would happen
00:02:15.360 but I know that it could happen
00:02:17.120 that's all I know
00:02:19.280 and a step in that process
00:02:24.580 a step in every process
00:02:26.000 is the recognition that facts
00:02:28.060 and activities on the ground
00:02:29.760 truly matter
00:02:30.640 and that's why going and visiting Judea and Samaria
00:02:33.480 understanding that
00:02:35.040 sovereignty the very sovereignty of israeli soil in israeli cities locations is a critical next
00:02:44.460 step to showing the world that this is the land for jews and the land of israel
00:02:48.740 the archetypal temple is the center of all true religious worship the temple is where god descends
00:02:56.120 communes with his people and invites them into worship whether it is the kabbal in islam or the
00:03:03.100 Kashi in Hinduism, every religion has a point where heaven touches earth and consecrates dirt,
00:03:10.600 grass, and wood into a dwelling place of the divine. The children of Israel knew this better 0.97
00:03:17.000 than most. During their journey in the wilderness, God dwelled with them in a mobile tabernacle.
00:03:22.820 The promise held out in conquest was that they would have a home, a land, and a permanent center
00:03:29.860 of worship. Following the powerful rule of David that solidified the Israelite kingdom, 0.67
00:03:36.300 David's son Solomon commissioned the construction of the first temple. When completed, its majesty
00:03:42.680 was unparalleled. Kings and queens from far off visited to behold its beauty, marvel at its
00:03:49.700 construction, and praise the God of Israel. If you know your Bible history, you know that the
00:03:56.820 first temple was destroyed by the Babylonians in 586 BC. Nebuchadnezzar the second razed it to the
00:04:04.200 ground and took the Jews into exile. The destruction was one of the most formative psychological and 0.99
00:04:10.260 theological shocks in Jewish history. The temple in Jerusalem was a dwelling place of God. The
00:04:16.340 Davidic monarchy guaranteed national continuity and the land of Israel was the homeland of their
00:04:22.840 fathers. Now the temple was rubble, the Davidic king Zedekiah deposed and the
00:04:28.020 majority of Jews deported. In 539 BC the Persian king Cyrus the Great conquered
00:04:35.160 Babylon and issued a decree permitting displaced peoples to return to their
00:04:39.980 homelands and rebuild their sanctuaries. For the Jews this meant a return to
00:04:45.320 Jerusalem and the rebuilding of the temple that had long been lost. Under
00:04:50.920 leaders such as Zerubbabel and the high priest Joshua, the foundations of a new
00:04:55.180 temple were laid. The work was slow and difficult, the returning population was
00:05:00.880 small, the city walls lay broken, and surrounding peoples resisted the effort.
00:05:06.640 Yet by 516 BC, roughly 70 years after the destruction of Solomon's temple, a new
00:05:14.160 sanctuary stood on the Temple Mount. But the second temple began humbly. Those
00:05:20.320 who remembered Solomon's temple wept when they saw its modest scale. The Ark of the Covenant was
00:05:26.200 gone. The glory that once filled the sanctuary in the days of Moses and Solomon was no longer
00:05:32.440 visible. Still, the altar burned again. Sacrifices resumed. Pilgrims once more ascended to Jerusalem
00:05:40.100 for the great feast. The temple lived again as the heart of Jewish worship. Over the centuries,
00:05:46.800 the temple endured empire after empire. The Jews passed from Persian rule to the Greeks
00:05:52.480 following the conquest of Alexander the Great. Under the Seleucid king Antiochus Epiphanes,
00:05:58.540 the temple suffered a new desecration in 167 BC when pagan sacrifices were imposed upon its altar.
00:06:07.640 This sacrilege provoked the revolt of the Judah Maccabee and his brothers. After fierce fighting,
00:06:14.100 the rebels reclaimed Jerusalem and purified the sanctuary, an event still remembered in the Jewish
00:06:20.040 feast of Hanukkah. A century later, the Jewish kingdom fell under Roman influence. When the
00:06:25.960 client King Herod the Great came to power, he undertook one of the most ambitious building
00:06:31.240 projects in the ancient world, beginning around 20 BC. Herod dramatically expanded and rebuilt
00:06:38.240 the temple complex. Vast retaining walls were erected. The platform of the temple mount was
00:06:43.640 enlarged, and the sanctuary itself was reconstructed in white stone and gold.
00:06:49.960 Ancient sources say that from a distance, the temple flashed like a snow-covered mountain
00:06:55.420 in the sun. Pilgrims from across the Jewish world traveled to Jerusalem to see it and
00:07:01.680 to offer sacrifices during the great feast. Yet beneath the magnificence lay deep tension.
00:07:07.760 Roman occupation weighed heavily on Judea.
00:07:11.760 Messianic hopes intensified.
00:07:14.040 Various factions, priests, zealots, reformers, and revolutionaries,
00:07:18.940 contested the future of the Jewish people and the meaning of the temple itself.
00:07:24.000 In AD 66, open revolt broke out against Rome.
00:07:28.360 Four years later, the Roman legions under Titus besieged Jerusalem.
00:07:32.240 The city was starved, divided by internal fighting, and finally breached.
00:07:38.440 In AD 70, Roman soldiers stormed the temple complex.
00:07:42.220 The sanctuary was burned, its treasures carried away, and the temple mount left in ruins.
00:07:48.680 Once again, the center of Jewish worship had vanished.
00:07:51.920 The place where sacrifices were offered, where priests ministered,
00:07:55.580 where heaven and earth were believed to meet, was now gone.
00:07:59.300 And once again, the loss would reshape Jewish life, theology, and longing for generations to come.
00:08:07.800 Yet even after the temple fell, the idea of rebuilding it never disappeared.
00:08:12.800 Nearly three centuries later, the Roman emperor Julian the Apostate,
00:08:17.140 a pagan ruler who rejected the Christian faith that had come to dominate the empire,
00:08:22.520 announced an extraordinary plan.
00:08:24.500 In AD 362, he authorized the Jews to rebuild their temple in Jerusalem.
00:08:31.220 Preparations reportedly began with enthusiasm, but the project quickly collapsed under a series of disasters.
00:08:38.760 Ancient sources describe earthquakes and bursts of fire erupting from the foundations as workers attempted to clear the site.
00:08:46.780 Julian was killed during a military campaign against Persia in AD 363.
00:08:52.820 With his death, the imperial sponsorship vanished, and the temple has remained in ruins.
00:09:00.260 Centuries after its destruction, the longing to rebuild the temple still lingered in the imagination of both Jews and their rivals.
00:09:08.960 For 1900 years, the Jews hated the Christians that claimed their Messiah, their patriarchs, and their promises.
00:09:15.580 They slaughtered Christians and burned Christian churches when the Persians captured Jerusalem in 614 AD.
00:09:23.700 They kidnapped and murdered the children of Christian parents for Passover rituals.
00:09:28.320 They charged exorbitant interest and traded debt, often getting them kicked out by the Christian monarchs. 0.58
00:09:34.960 Across the centuries, the Jewish people survived but rarely thrived.
00:09:39.820 Expulsions from England, France, and Spain, recurring pogroms in Eastern Europe, 0.88
00:09:45.060 and the slow suffocation of life inside ghettos hardened a scattered people into a nation without a state. 0.97
00:09:53.180 By the late 19th century, with the old order of empires breaking apart and nationalism sweeping Europe,
00:10:00.500 many Jews concluded that survival in exile would always be precarious.
00:10:05.500 The modern Zionist movement emerged from this realization.
00:10:09.960 If every nation sought a homeland, the Jews would need one as well. 0.86
00:10:14.880 Waves of immigration began to return Jews to the supposed land of their fathers. 0.84
00:10:19.860 What had once been a memory in scripture and prayer was slowly becoming a geopolitical project.
00:10:27.520 Among some Orthodox Jews, this return to the land awakened an older and far more radical hope
00:10:34.080 That the restoration of Israel was not merely political, but preparatory.
00:10:40.420 If the people had returned and Jerusalem was again under Jewish control, 0.65
00:10:44.940 then the ancient center of worship, the temple itself,
00:10:48.440 might one day rise again on the mount where it had stood for nearly a thousand years.
00:10:54.460 Religious Judaism needs a temple. 0.95
00:10:56.960 For two thousand years, there have been no high priest to offer sacrifices, 1.00
00:11:01.140 no altar for the Day of Atonement, no priestly system capable of carrying out the commands of
00:11:07.200 the Torah as they had once been practiced. For many religious Jews, the absence of the temple
00:11:13.000 is not merely symbolic. It is an unfinished chapter of history waiting to be restored.
00:11:19.700 Yet the question does not stop in Jerusalem. In modern politics, the loudest and most consistent
00:11:25.640 supporters of Israel have often been American evangelicals, many of whom also see prophetic
00:11:32.340 meaning in the rebuilding of the temple. If a serious movement to build a third temple were
00:11:37.780 to emerge, would those same Christians support it? And perhaps more importantly, the question is, 0.99
00:11:43.800 should they?
00:11:55.640 Valley, Knickknack, and I Trust Capital. All right, I'm going to cut straight to the chase.
00:12:01.200 You can open a Moomoo account or a Robinhood account. You can trade virtually anything under
00:12:05.200 the sun, and you can trade crypto. But at the end of the day, you're going to have to pay the capital
00:12:09.540 gains. Or you could be forward-minded, thinking towards generational wealth, open up some kind
00:12:14.960 of retirement account, and they'll let you purchase anything you want, except for all the
00:12:18.600 things that are good and that actually have increasing value, like Bitcoin. Crypto's one
00:12:24.400 thing. I get it. You can take it. You could leave it. Bitcoin is here to stay. I'm a Bitcoin
00:12:29.480 maximalist. I make no apology. I believe it's moral money. It's finite. So it beats inflation
00:12:35.200 and it's aside from the fiat currency system. The question is, how do I buy Bitcoin without
00:12:41.060 having to pay the capital gains tax at the end of the trade? You can only do it through one
00:12:46.460 platform that I know of. That's I trust capital. And right now you can open an account, get a free
00:12:52.160 $100 added to that account by going to itrustcapital.com forward slash go forward slash

00:13:23.160 Joel Webben
00:13:24.020 I'm going to talk about Joel Webben
00:13:26.100 Joel Webben is an accident
00:13:43.300 we've had second temple yes but have we had third temple that's going to be our discussion today on
00:13:51.320 this episode but first i want to do some introductions we are privileged to have
00:13:55.380 two special guests in house in the studio in the flesh we have dale partridge as well as
00:14:01.180 calvin robinson i'm going to give just a moment you probably know who these guys are but if you're
00:14:06.000 new to nxr and maybe you haven't been following these two accounts i'm going to let them introduce
00:14:10.500 themselves now. Dale, who are you? Yeah, a pastor of Kingsway Church in Prescott, Arizona. I'm also
00:14:17.820 author of too many books. Too many pamphlets. Too many pamphlets. Book is generous. You know what?
00:14:25.140 Cover of Glory was pretty long. Yeah, it was. It was pretty long. But yeah, I wrote a book called
00:14:29.940 The Israel Delusion, a kid's catechism. You know, do social media. You'll find me on X. That's where
00:14:36.820 most of my content can be found.
00:14:38.720 My kids love your children's book
00:14:41.100 on gender roles.
00:14:44.020 Yes, I actually just
00:14:44.920 signed one for Nate.
00:14:47.840 Nice.
00:14:48.160 His kids love it too.
00:14:50.080 Teach your kids what it means to be a boy
00:14:51.740 and what it means to be a girl. 0.95
00:14:52.740 Amen.
00:14:52.980 All right, Calvin, who are you?
00:14:55.080 I am pastor of St. Paul's Church of Grand Rapids.
00:14:58.300 I host a show called
00:14:59.400 Calvin's Common Sense Crusade.
00:15:01.300 And as of this year,
00:15:02.460 I am what the Times of Israel,
00:15:04.580 the Guardian,
00:15:05.080 and the Rolling Stones call the Nazi priest.
00:15:07.440 Wow. 0.99
00:15:08.560 High honors. 0.94
00:15:10.340 The Nazi priest. 0.98
00:15:11.800 Even being half black, you still got Nazi priest. 1.00
00:15:14.840 That's impressive. 1.00
00:15:16.940 Well done.
00:15:17.480 Thank you.
00:15:18.320 All right.
00:15:18.860 Okay, so today's episode,
00:15:20.700 we're going to be talking about the Third Temple,
00:15:22.740 but actually one more announcement
00:15:25.120 because we have a few things that we're working on together.
00:15:28.820 And so we've got a couple books.
00:15:31.200 If you guys are not familiar,
00:15:32.760 there's one book on the shelf back behind me
00:15:35.040 and I can't reach it. It's way back there. You got to get the depth of field, right? So you got
00:15:39.120 to make sure that the backdrop is like 20 miles behind you. But it's called The Hyphenated Heresy,
00:15:45.980 Judeo-Christianity is the subtitle. So The Hyphenated Heresy, Judeo-Christianity. 0.92
00:15:50.640 I co-authored this book with Jordan Hall, and he is a fantastic writer. The book is good. And one
00:15:57.780 of the reasons it's good is because he did the lion's share of writing the book. So I had my
00:16:03.920 input. I was involved with the process, but Jordan, who is a much better writer than I am,
00:16:09.940 he did a lot of the heavy lifting and it's a beast. It's a doorstopper. It's 250 pages and
00:16:16.120 probably about a third of the book is footnotes. It's a lot of footnotes, a lot of receipts.
00:16:20.900 And so that was our first publication with NXR Studios and it's done really well. We're already
00:16:26.060 sitting at about 4,000 copies sold at this point and it's been just a little over two months.
00:16:32.280 So that's encouraging.
00:16:34.480 So a lot of people have been blessed by it,
00:16:36.260 but we have two more books
00:16:37.400 that are going to be coming out this year
00:16:39.080 that we're very excited about.
00:16:40.600 The first that you can expect
00:16:42.460 is from our very own Calvin Robinson.
00:16:45.040 What's the book called?
00:16:45.920 What's it about?
00:16:46.540 It's The Silent Jihad, 1.00
00:16:47.700 and it's about how the Mohammedans took over Britain 1.00
00:16:50.600 and much of Western Europe, 0.89
00:16:51.960 how you can prevent it from happening here in America, 0.76
00:16:54.080 and how we can take back Christendom, essentially, 0.99
00:16:57.000 from the Mohammedans. 0.99
00:16:58.120 Awesome. 0.99
00:16:58.480 I saw a statistic, Calvin,
00:16:59.880 at probably the early 19th century,
00:17:02.040 it was something like 50,000 Muslims
00:17:04.060 that lived within greater Europe
00:17:05.580 and now it's over 50 million.
00:17:07.240 Does that sound about right?
00:17:08.120 Absolutely.
00:17:08.760 It's insane. 1.00
00:17:09.920 White Britons and Christians 0.96
00:17:11.240 are a minority in cities
00:17:13.340 in the United Kingdom now. 1.00
00:17:15.060 Mohammedans are taking over. 1.00
00:17:16.140 Christianity is now no longer 1.00
00:17:17.860 the predominant faith in Britain
00:17:19.040 for the first time in a thousand years. 0.98
00:17:20.960 It's all being taken over. 1.00
00:17:22.900 Anglo-Brits in London, 0.88
00:17:24.820 isn't it like one out of four?
00:17:26.440 It's like 25%?
00:17:27.920 I don't know.
00:17:28.260 it's getting lower yeah and we're seeing the same things happening out here in new york that
00:17:33.240 we're seeing in london you know mandani this week has been bombing the air prayer mats and rugs in
00:17:38.160 the in the city hall in new york for goodness sake yeah that's crazy crazy hey real quick um
00:17:44.240 prayer sirens right uh calls to prayer islamic yeah versus church bells yeah um you you said
00:17:51.940 something fascinating as we were talking offline um just about the the spiritual connotations of
00:17:59.020 music can you say that real quick yeah so the ad hon is objectively evil no one likes that sound
00:18:05.540 right yes it's disgusting it repulses you on an internal level whereas church bells they are
00:18:11.700 beautiful objectively and they ward away evil the frequency of church bells throughout the whole of
00:18:16.580 history has been known to ward away evil so why is it that we've got rid of all of them why are
00:18:20.940 not in every public square because we don't want to ward away evil anymore wow we're attracting it
00:18:26.080 dude so i like some of the 40 in you know fringe kind of stuff i i'm a fan of nephilim and giants
00:18:33.400 and even mermaids although i've gotten a lot of flack but here i stand mermaids were real are real
00:18:40.660 it's hard to defend were real sirens some went to the skies some to the water the the women the
00:18:46.620 women who chose to marry these fallen angels, they have to have consequences. I'm tired of pastors
00:18:53.140 with their theology, giving no consequences to the women when they sin. Some of these daughters of 1.00
00:18:58.240 men married fallen angels. They became mermaids, right? I'm just sitting here as a patriarchal guy 0.97
00:19:04.300 saying mermaids is the consequence for women's sin. They must be held accountable. Therefore,
00:19:10.500 mermaids. That said. Well, there's a real life example going on today. These women that are 1.00
00:19:14.400 aborting their own babies they're not held to account because they are victims too whereas no 0.87
00:19:19.340 they are the ones doing the murdering so they should be held to account amen and therefore
00:19:22.300 mermaids i mean two dots clear line from from women being held accountable to abortion to
00:19:29.080 mermaids there it is um it's it's a bit of a stretch i admit um but that said i i like the
00:19:35.400 40 and stuff and one of the things that i remember uh reading was that um that church bells uh they
00:19:42.900 warded off uh particularly in europe uh trolls yeah have you read that before absolutely it's
00:19:48.580 we've forgotten the spiritual realm i mean you're joking about mermaids but unicorns and dragons we
00:19:53.060 used to know as christians that these things existed we used to know that there is you know
00:19:56.640 i'm not exactly joking but in ancient britain we'd have the word magic and magician for people
00:20:01.980 like merlin like we understood there's a there's an element of spiritual realm that we can tap into
00:20:06.600 that we can observe if we have enough faith but we've become so scientific and so secular since
00:20:11.640 the enlightenment that we kind of ignored and rejected the spiritual realm and music you know
00:20:16.500 i was playing some gregorian charts a moment ago like music it connects us to the lord in a
00:20:21.760 transcendental way that other things don't and all these things are important because they are
00:20:26.160 spiritual yes we're not just physical tangible beings we are spiritual beings too amen i love
00:20:31.980 how you said that that one word and we kind of skipped past it because i started talking about
00:20:36.820 mermaids but it's my fault but um you said inherently evil that like the in other words
00:20:43.500 the the call to prayer you know like even if that was uh there are some things that can be uh
00:20:51.380 redeemed right there are some elements of pagan societies that were removed others were redeemed
00:20:56.960 christianized um but i think christians need to be aware that um that some things actually
00:21:03.280 the only option um is to remove them they actually can't be redeemed because in and of themselves
00:21:08.940 in other words if there was a a call to christian prayer right but using those would be the church
00:21:14.120 bells oh but using those sirens we say find a find another way to call people to pray by design
00:21:19.820 they are evil so muhammad said that music is bad and the bells are bad so he objectively identified
00:21:25.900 things that we know to be inherently good and inverted them and said we're going to have the
00:21:29.860 adan instead so he put evil in the place of good so one more question so i'm building to something
00:21:34.880 that we'll get to dale because he's got a book coming that i'm very excited about uh but one
00:21:39.040 more question can that principle that concept be applied uh not just to islamic you know sirens
00:21:45.980 uh but in the realm of music i i'll show my hand um i think that rap music is degradating uh to
00:21:54.380 society first and foremost because of the content the substance of the words like you know i did
00:22:00.200 this to a woman and i shot these 17 people over here and like but you know there's a lot of guys
00:22:06.640 who have done christian rap yeah and certainly that's an improvement you know like the words
00:22:10.960 are about christ um but i i feel as though rap as a form of music take the lyrics aside the
00:22:18.300 substance aside the music itself yeah um maybe not inherently evil i don't know if i would
00:22:23.660 white as far by design but but the the music itself is it's to say that like here's mozart
00:22:31.100 where handles messiah right and here's rap but but the lyrics are christian now i changed the
00:22:36.640 lyrics it's not it's about the lyrics it's about the music itself so the the mozart's music was
00:22:40.300 shaped around the mass it was shaped around the christian theology and the worship of god
00:22:43.880 rap music was centered around rebellion against society and it was sexuality violence but it's
00:22:50.300 Deeper than just the words or the beats, it's the frequencies. 0.85
00:22:53.400 In 1939, the Rothschilds and the Rockefellers came together, 0.89
00:22:57.960 got some scientists and some musicians together, 0.84
00:22:59.780 and said, let's shift the frequency of A from,
00:23:01.920 was it 440 hertz to 453 hertz?
00:23:04.020 So look it up.
00:23:04.960 And essentially, they want the masses to be enraged,
00:23:08.160 to be ready for war.
00:23:09.160 They don't want the masses to be peaceful and seeking God.
00:23:11.680 That's so good.
00:23:13.840 So what you're telling me is it's not just the lyrics,
00:23:16.240 but rap, the music itself, is Jewish. 0.56
00:23:19.740 Yes.
00:23:20.300 I love it. All right. Dale Partridge, you are coming out with a book I'm super stoked about.
00:23:25.500 What is the title and what is the message that you're conveying with your book?
00:23:29.280 Yeah. So 19 Reasons to Repeal the 19th Amendment.
00:23:31.900 So good. 0.88
00:23:34.180 Hard to narrow it down to 19, huh?
00:23:36.200 I had 50. I came out with a viral post maybe three or four months ago, and it was shocking
00:23:45.180 to me because I realized that the Overton window has shifted enough, that the discussion around
00:23:50.920 repealing the 19th Amendment wasn't as appalling to many as I expected it would be. We saw women,
00:23:59.040 huge numbers of women in the comments defending the repealing of the 19th Amendment. It was really
00:24:05.540 effeminate men who were not. And so the basic premise of the book is that essentially
00:24:11.900 uh since the women have had the right to vote since the 1920s they have been exploited by evil
00:24:20.120 men to um who are preying upon their emotional compassionate sensitivities and so politically 0.99
00:24:28.120 when you have an effeminate uh when you have a feminine men and feminine women who could be
00:24:32.660 manipulated by political ideologies and agendas we are seeing laws that have been passed that
00:24:39.700 would have never passed if there was a male-only vote. And so the destruction of society can be
00:24:45.640 directly connected to the female vote. And, you know, from abortion to different Supreme Court 1.00
00:24:54.480 cases to different laws, when you have a group of people who are voting based off of emotion rather
00:25:00.960 than logic, you are, again, creating a society that has a variety of threats and problems to its
00:25:09.220 moral standards amen um anything else i'm gonna let you guys make the call i i don't really know
00:25:16.140 i'm not particularly good at this like is it good to you know like like wait and hit the nos right
00:25:22.700 before the finish line is it good to you know play your cards close to the chest you know the
00:25:27.180 element of surprise or is it better to tease is there anything else calvin and dale that we should
00:25:33.620 talk about or announce or unveil at this point what do you think we should probably let people
00:25:39.400 know there's some exciting content coming up soon on xl okay yep what do you think uh anything more
00:25:45.660 than that exciting content coming up soon yeah yeah i'll say it you know we got a show coming
00:25:51.180 out called american grit oh okay and yeah and so uh we're going to be giving what i would say
00:25:58.920 information to the Christian church in America. And so talking about American identity, talking
00:26:05.960 about American family, talking about American politics, talking about American economy
00:26:10.020 from a Christian perspective. And you combine that with the books, like Calvin's book or my book,
00:26:18.480 and I think the effort is to Overton window shifting. It's moving the church
00:26:24.720 to dimensions and thoughts and perspectives, which is unfortunate because we're actually
00:26:30.940 just moving it back in the sense of we're going back to say what the church was believing in,
00:26:36.180 say, the 1800s. I always tell people I'm just a normal guy from like 1880. The positions that I
00:26:41.240 hold are not extreme. They are moderate in almost every generation prior to the current one. And so
00:26:46.480 I think we're taking the Christian church in America back to a time that was far more morally
00:26:53.920 productive fruitful uh having a thriving society and that's going to happen through you know
00:26:58.860 different content different shows different books different posts you know whatever it may be right
00:27:02.720 so you're going to be hosting a show american grit yeah with nxr and we're very excited about
00:27:07.600 that calvin my next crusade is coming to nxr because we are the christian rights and we want
00:27:12.180 you to join us essentially uh we're no longer conservatives there's nothing left to conserve
00:27:16.200 so we are traditionalists seeking tradition as dale was saying to bring it back so we have
00:27:19.880 something to pass down to the next generation awesome uh yeah so we're very very excited and
00:27:26.380 privileged and honored to have these two guys who have displayed immense courage and uh joining us
00:27:33.160 with nxr and the reason why we're doing it is because um at the end of the day we're so fractured
00:27:38.560 the the church right now is so fractured um constantly fighting each other instead of the
00:27:45.560 the true enemy that is standing at the gate and in reality has already burst through the gate
00:27:51.040 or didn't need to because we opened the gate ourselves and is, you know, in the town and
00:27:55.280 pillaging. And so we feel like unity is incredibly important where our secular and demonic world 0.64
00:28:03.040 constantly insist that diversity is our strength. We insist that unity is our strength, not diversity.
00:28:10.880 certainly there's going to be some measure of diversity in some category where we acknowledge
00:28:16.840 that but but we don't want diversity of thought we don't want diversity of conviction diversity
00:28:24.640 within the church especially as it pertains to theology has been our detriment it has not been
00:28:30.640 an advantage in any sense whatsoever and so we're recognizing that all of us
00:28:36.080 in varying degrees and in differing ways have been arrogant, have been proud, have been rebellious,
00:28:45.860 and we want to do our best wherever we can to exercise courage, but also humility and say,
00:28:53.980 hey, this guy, he's different than me. He holds some different positions than me,
00:28:59.140 but i see christ in him uh he is godly he is exercising courage and uh and we're going to
00:29:06.920 stand together um is as long as we can and on every hill that we can there are some places where
00:29:14.320 we different calvin and i for instance um on sunday morning you will not find us in the same
00:29:20.760 location no and it breaks my heart you know but you're welcome to come to me and you're welcome
00:29:26.620 to come to my church um but we will not be in the same place on sunday morning right but on
00:29:32.700 tuesday afternoon i think that we can be because we're fighting for christ we're fighting the enemy
00:29:37.640 the enemy wants us fighting each other that's the key difference there we should christians should
00:29:41.420 not be fighting other christians we spent 500 years doing that it's now time to realign to
00:29:45.840 become co-belligerents as you often put it and fight together for christ against the enemy yeah
00:29:50.220 We talked about before is that infighting is the privilege of a victorious society.
00:29:56.460 And we don't have a victorious society at this particular moment.
00:30:00.640 Infighting is a luxury.
00:30:01.880 It's a luxury, yeah.
00:30:02.740 And it's one of these things right now where I think clarifying that NXR is creedal and
00:30:07.600 not professional, meaning that we're standing behind the historic Christian creeds and we
00:30:12.600 can stand side by side with men like Calvin, me being over here kind of a high reform,
00:30:17.100 you being even Anglo-Catholic, and you being 1689. I mean, there's a variety here, but
00:30:22.640 we have the same common enemy. We are fighting against evil. We also have the same Christ.
00:30:28.240 And so I think there's a space for that. I think a lot of Christians are looking for that. I think
00:30:31.620 it's going to be helpful. Yeah. And that's not to say that we don't have our individual theological
00:30:35.280 distinctives or convictions. Each of us have confessions that we hold dear. But when we say
00:30:41.560 we're creedal, what we mean by that is that as it pertains to NXR, right, as it pertains to Sunday
00:30:47.800 morning in each of our individual churches and our pastoral ministries and these kinds of things,
00:30:52.600 then confessions very much come into play. But as it pertains to NXR and the forward-facing
00:30:59.820 position that we're taking in the public square, in the realm of media, to push back on the hordes
00:31:06.420 of demonic darkness that's infiltrating every single element of our society today.
00:31:12.620 In that regard, we're going to be creedal, and what we mean by that is that we're united
00:31:17.980 in the Nicene Creed and the Apostles' Creed.
00:31:21.760 We're united in the top-tier theological issues.
00:31:26.100 We're united with the things that matter most, and we're saying this is going to be the benchmark
00:31:33.680 of what it takes in order to be on the team.
00:31:38.020 So in being Credo, you can be on the team
00:31:41.520 if you are Presbyterian or if you are a Baptist
00:31:46.280 or if you are Anglo-Catholic
00:31:48.340 or if you are Eastern Orthodox,
00:31:50.700 you can be on the NXR team in terms of the media
00:31:54.200 as we're pushing back politically, culturally
00:31:57.360 against the hordes of hell.
00:31:59.320 but credal is it's intentionally broad enough to not devour our own but it's also at the same time
00:32:09.520 intentionally narrow enough to make sure that those who really are not on the team can find
00:32:14.800 no place so for instance one of the distinctions or a difference between nxr and something like
00:32:20.880 the daily wire would be who's not credal well an orthodox jew is not credal a muslim is not
00:32:29.260 credo an atheist or agnostic is not credo um so there will not be jews on the team there will not
00:32:36.680 be mormons on the team there will not be and and that's the thing is it's yeah it's always strange
00:32:42.640 to me that you have we have nobody has nobody in the church has a problem with the daily wire having 0.62
00:32:47.960 a catholic and a jew right and a christian or or at the blaze having a mormon or a christian or
00:32:53.960 an atheist or you know and so here we are having a media company with a variety of perspectives
00:33:00.040 that are creedal all christian right but from different perspectives but again in the christian
00:33:04.400 world we want to divide over absolutely everything right and and we're saying no we're done we're
00:33:09.460 done with that we're done with that and i'm and we're also done with the idea that when you look
00:33:14.240 at the lay of the land with every major conservative media operation um it is always it's they they
00:33:21.940 they always include christians because they know that america is you know when it comes to
00:33:27.000 conservatives is majority christian but they're always including christians they've got their
00:33:32.640 matt walsh and their michael knowles they've got you know they've they've they've um met the quota
00:33:37.760 in order to maintain the status quo so that they can sell their leftist tears tumblers or whatever 0.76
00:33:44.360 it is but at the top it's a mormon at the top it's a jew at the top and i'm sick of it well it's 0.84
00:33:52.340 controlled opposition isn't it if you're working for a jewish company you're not going to criticize
00:33:55.740 israel or the or judaism as much as you could do if you were otherwise yeah right you gotta just 0.95
00:34:00.880 kind of call it what it is yeah yep breaking news you're fat and so am i let's just be honest i'm 0.66
00:34:09.280 sitting here recording a commercial practically spilling out of my chair we're not energetic 0.88
00:34:14.600 we're not masculine we're not as healthy as we should be we're men right you're a husband you're
00:34:19.600 a father we should be hard to kill and let's be honest we're making it easy on our enemies so 0.97
00:34:24.520 what's the problem the problem is you're fat because you're hungry and when you're hungry 0.99
00:34:28.480 you're eating snacks that's a bunch of goy slop there's not a lot of good things in snack form
00:34:33.880 in between meals. As a man, we need raw milk, eggs, beef. Those are the things, but it's hard
00:34:41.120 to find them at nine 30 in the morning when I feel like I'm ready, like a hobbit for a second
00:34:47.020 breakfast. So here's the deal. After long searching, I have found, I'm serious. I've

00:35:52.260 So let's talk about the third temple.
00:35:54.520 Are we getting one?
00:35:55.600 Are we getting a third temple?
00:35:56.800 Wes, go ahead and lead us off.
00:35:58.440 You've outlined the episode.
00:35:59.920 Go ahead.
00:36:00.340 So here's how we're going to lay it out.
00:36:01.600 In the cold open, we went through the first and the second temple, Solomon's temple, and then Herod's temple.
00:36:06.780 And hopefully you're very familiar by now with what happened in 70 AD when the Roman Emperor Titus marched on Jerusalem.
00:36:12.660 They sacked the city as the gold from the temple as the city burned, ran down and melted, went between the stones.
00:36:18.640 And the Romans literally pulled, as Jesus prophesied, every stone off of one another. 0.57
00:36:23.100 So not a stone was left standing on another. 0.84
00:36:25.520 They took the Jews that were there in the city, crucified so many of them that they actually ran out of wood. 0.94
00:36:29.980 and the rest dispersed across the Roman Empire.
00:36:32.780 It's one of the most traumatic events in the Jewish consciousness,
00:36:36.020 especially in the ancient world. 0.92
00:36:37.980 So we went over that, the first temple, the second temple.
00:36:40.080 We saw what happened to both of them.
00:36:41.320 In both cases, rebellion brought about their destruction.
00:36:44.660 So what we're going to lay out is I'm going to go into a kind of lesser-known occasion
00:36:47.900 where an apostate Roman emperor attempted to build a third temple.
00:36:51.820 We've had two guests.
00:36:52.660 What about a third? 0.96
00:36:53.480 He attempts to build a third one, to stick it to the Christians, to ally with the Jews. 0.86
00:36:57.760 will go then to the modern times, how we see this impetus coming again. Since Israel and the Jews 0.84
00:37:02.700 have returned to the land in 1948, this has been top of mind. How can we get a temple? How can we 1.00
00:37:07.720 enact Levitical priestly law? How can we resume sacrifices? If you are an Orthodox Jew, there is
00:37:13.080 no Yom Kippur. There is no Day of Atonement. You have not been able to practice it for 1900 years
00:37:17.960 because no sacrifice could be made. But just even less than a year ago, it was Adam King, he was on
00:37:22.880 Tim Pool, and he said, we did it. We sacrificed the red heifer. The red heifer is what was necessary
00:37:27.380 to begin the sacrificial process again. So we'll look at the Third Temple, we'll look at who's 0.90
00:37:31.880 behind pushing it, which is, surprise, surprise, dispensational evangelicals, and then we'll land 0.52
00:37:37.320 on what the Third Temple actually is from the Bible historically. What is the truth to true
00:37:42.180 Third Temple? Newsflash, it's already here. Well, Constantine is the first Christian emperor, and 0.96
00:37:47.940 it's kind of incredible in God's providence, all of the conversions of Christianity in the Roman
00:37:52.320 Empire leading up to that point, none of them matter as much as this emperor, as he prepares
00:37:56.540 to go to war against his rival, and he sees in the sky the night before the battle the sign of
00:38:01.520 the cross, and he hears a voice, as it's recounted, that says, by this sign, conquers. And he goes
00:38:06.520 forth, and he wins an incredible battle, uniting the empire, and he becomes Christian. By all
00:38:11.960 accounts, as best we can tell, he truly believes the Christian faith. He internalizes it, and he 0.86
00:38:17.060 enacts counsels to hammer out who was Jesus, what is he in his divinity, was he created, is he
00:38:22.980 eternal, and he's an incredible blessing to the church. And he's followed by four more Christian
00:38:28.160 emperors. But then there's one emperor for two years in there, this little stint that's known
00:38:32.780 as Julian the Apostate. And Julian the Apostate, he grows up under Christian tutelage, under 0.68
00:38:37.780 Christian instruction, but he himself ultimately comes to reject it. He wants to reinstate Roman 0.94
00:38:43.100 paganism. He wants to go back to the old days when there was a pantheon of gods. And the Christians 0.66
00:38:47.560 can have their god, sure, and the Jews can have their god, and the Romans can have their god, 0.62
00:38:51.000 but none of them are truly above all the other gods. 0.72
00:38:54.940 There is no one true supreme God.
00:38:56.820 And so during his brief two-year stint as emperor, he tries to renew that.
00:39:00.560 And I'm going to read a letter because as he enacts on this journey,
00:39:03.760 as he seeks to resurrect paganism,
00:39:06.800 he actually turns to what seems like a very unlikely ally,
00:39:09.940 and he goes and says, I want to help you.
00:39:11.780 And so Julian the Apostate writes this letter, letter 51, to the community of the Jews.
00:39:16.800 He talks about how they've been taxed.
00:39:18.280 He talks about how they've been subjugated.
00:39:19.800 but at the very end he says this this you ought to do in order that when i have successfully
00:39:25.140 concluded the war with persia i may rebuild by my own efforts the sacred city of jerusalem that
00:39:31.520 have been closed to the jews since the time of emperor hadrian 135 which for so many years have
00:39:36.580 longed to see inhabited and bring settlers there and together with you may glorify the most high
00:39:41.020 god therein and he follows up and says for i am rebuilding with all zeal the temple of the most
00:39:47.200 high God. And so he enacts a great personal cost, the construction of the third temple to kind of
00:39:53.160 stick it to the Christians and help the Jews out. You guys have been barred from Jerusalem. You guys 0.94
00:39:58.240 haven't had a temple for all these years. I would be happy at my own cost to come in and build a
00:40:03.920 temple for you guys to renew worship once again. St. Gregory, he said this writing about Julian.
00:40:09.580 This is from Oration 5, second invective against Julian, Julian the apostate. For when he had
00:40:14.960 exhausted every other resource and despised every other form of tyranny and regards as trifling and
00:40:20.220 unworthy of him, since there was never a character so fertile in finding out and contriving mischief,
00:40:25.460 at last he stirred up against us, us being the Christians, the nation of the Jews, making his 0.57
00:40:31.080 accomplice in his machinations their well-known credulity, as well as that hatred for us which 0.83
00:40:36.540 has smoldered in them from the very beginning, prophesying to them out of their own books and
00:40:40.860 mysteries that now is the appointed time come for them to return to their own land and to rebuild
00:40:45.900 the temple and restore the reign of their hereditary institutions thus hiding his true purpose
00:40:50.940 under the mark of benevolence and so saint gregory is saying here in order to stir up mischief
00:40:56.280 comes benevolently i'd be happy to help you out with this really hiding his true intentions which
00:41:02.140 is to stick it to christianity anything to offer before i get into what happened at that temple a
00:41:06.300 couple of things i find fascinating about that one he's using their own books to prophesy and
00:41:10.080 provide mysteries from their own teachings sounds very much like the christian evangelicals the
00:41:14.380 zionists at the moment who think they are reading into old-fashioned judaism but they're actually
00:41:19.100 reading rabbinical judaism and the fact that he was at war with iran even back then that's
00:41:23.800 fascinating to me yes some things never change yeah all right so saint ephraim commentates and
00:41:30.860 we have a number of both pagan and christian sources that are contemporary to the time
00:41:34.840 sometimes there's recounts of a story and it's from 200 years ago and it's like well this was
00:41:38.700 kind of passed down from like my fifth great grandfather, and he told it to me, and nobody's
00:41:42.920 still alive who saw it happen. All of the witnesses that we have to this, they've talked to people that
00:41:47.620 were directly there, people that were eyewitnesses, and people within their lifetime. So they're saying
00:41:51.800 you could talk to so-and-so, and he saw it happen, or you could talk to so-and-so, and he saw it
00:41:55.620 happen. And it isn't just Christians recounting these stories, but pagan sources as well. So Saint
00:42:00.660 Ephraim, in his hymn four against Julian, he says this, at that time, the rebuilding of the temple,
00:42:06.980 terrible events were stirred up to reprove men. God proclaimed the truth to souls in the world
00:42:12.520 and that cities were overthrown to the reproach of paganism. Jerusalem condemned particularly
00:42:17.420 the accursed and the crucifiers who presumptuously threatened and even destroyed, threatened and even
00:42:23.460 destroyed, even entered in to rebuild the desolation which they had caused by their sins. 0.91
00:42:27.900 Moving on in the letter, he says, he ordered the winds and they blew. He beckoned earthquakes and
00:42:31.720 they came, lightning and it caused turmoil, the air and it became dark. Walls and they were
00:42:36.640 overthrown gates and they opened themselves up fire came forth and consumed the scribes who had
00:42:41.720 read in Daniel that it would be desolate forever Daniel 9 27 and because they had read but did not
00:42:46.800 learn they were violently smitten smitten and then they learned that different accounts there's
00:42:51.940 different accounts some have to deal even with fire coming from heaven others with lightning
00:42:55.860 but the two big ones that are repeated again and again in the accounts are earthquakes and fire
00:43:01.480 coming up from the deep that as they went to work on the foundations literally fire erupting up
00:43:06.460 from the ground, burned and killing workers. Others saw in their dreams the sign of the cross
00:43:11.440 in the sky or had it burned into their garments, and the project was completely abandoned. It was
00:43:17.000 an utter and complete failure, and Christians all through the ancient sources directly attested this 1.00
00:43:21.840 as God's providence, that in arrogance, they thought, we'll rebuild the temple to the true God. 0.94
00:43:27.060 We'll set sacrifices back up, and God supernaturally came down and said, that will never,
00:43:32.620 ever happen. And I will turn nature itself against you supernaturally. Burn the workers,
00:43:38.540 burn the cross into your minds until you realize that this is an affront to me. I've built my 1.00
00:43:44.300 temple already. No third temple, no Jews especially, the ones who've rejected the Messiah, 1.00
00:43:49.900 claiming to build a third temple to the true God. It will not happen. 1.00
00:43:56.200 Going forward to the modern day, Israel returns to the land. Jews return to the land. Displaced 1.00
00:44:02.620 Well, as the story goes, we could say.
00:44:05.880 No, no, no. Let's hear it out. Go ahead.
00:44:09.120 Because they're not Jews that have returned to the land, are they?
00:44:11.200 They're not people who worship the same God of Moses, the same God as Abraham,
00:44:15.720 the same God as the Hebrews and the Israelites of the Bible. 0.88
00:44:19.100 These modern Jews who've gone to the land that's now called Israel are, in fact, secular. 0.97
00:44:25.540 They are atheists. They're not believers in Yahweh. 0.80
00:44:28.540 i think of revelation says uh those who say they are jews and are not yeah you're not true
00:44:33.860 worshipers of god you're not true lovers of his law you're not truly obedient to him because
00:44:38.180 god came to meet them and he rejected him right that that's why so it's it's um that's why i don't
00:44:46.220 want to just give a simple answer everybody was you know getting upset uh over the last couple
00:44:50.400 days because i hosted a conversation with jake shields and jake shields asked me you know point
00:44:55.260 blank do you believe that jesus was a jew and i didn't want to say all right i've got one hour to
00:45:00.460 talk to jake shields about christ and i want to preach christ and him crucified i don't want to
00:45:06.260 spend uh the next hour talking about the kazarian theory or the edomite theory or this that and the
00:45:11.960 other um and so i you know i i did my best to kind of quickly move on from the question um into you
00:45:19.640 know my question which was what is the gospel well just do jordan pearson it depends what you mean
00:45:24.540 by jew right right exactly but that but there is there's a sense in which that's true so yeah if
00:45:30.060 uh if we're asking the question is jesus the promised seed of abraham yes uh is jesus does
00:45:36.300 he come from the line of ishmael or or isaac and jacob isaac and jacob right um does is is jesus
00:45:43.520 of the lineage of the line of the tribe of judah right yeah yes um is jesus an israelite a true
00:45:50.080 israelite yes is he a hebrew yes um if jew is used synonymously for all israelites in in terms
00:45:59.080 of according to the flesh then yes jesus was a jew in in the way that the word was actually used
00:46:04.900 at the time of jesus it had it had shifted um over the previous centuries to where it became
00:46:11.200 more of a placeholder simply for hebrews as a whole so anyone who had descended from any of
00:46:17.260 the 12 tribes of Jacob, whose name was changed by God himself to Israel. So any Israelite was
00:46:25.100 considered a Jew at the time of Jesus. A few centuries earlier, though, a Jew was more of
00:46:30.780 a specific term for a Judean, in which case Jesus is not a Jew because he was a Galilean. He was not
00:46:37.920 a Judean. But what Jake Shields means is, is Jesus a Jew in the same way that Benjamin Netanyahu... 0.66
00:46:42.420 And that's the final piece that I was building up to. 0.98
00:46:44.120 Polish Satanist. 0.99
00:46:45.280 Exactly.
00:46:45.740 Is Jesus a Talmudic Ashkenazi?
00:46:48.060 No.
00:46:48.260 And the answer is, of course, no.
00:46:49.980 No.
00:46:50.180 And the problem is, if you look to just even the scriptures, if you look to the Gospel
00:46:53.140 of John or John's epistles, the only time he uses the term Jews is to identify the enemies
00:46:59.100 of Christ. 1.00
00:46:59.720 Yeah.
00:47:00.120 And so it's actually a label saying the Jews, the Jews.
00:47:03.400 You can see it, I think, I don't know, 20, 30 times throughout his Gospel.
00:47:07.420 So is Jesus that type of Jew? 0.98
00:47:09.640 The Jew that rejects Christ? 0.78
00:47:10.960 Of course not, right? 0.89
00:47:12.700 Jesus is a true Jew, if we want to get clarifying on what a true Jew means.
00:47:17.360 But again, because the word is convoluted, it has so many definitions,
00:47:20.640 you have to be careful and you have to have these complex conversations
00:47:23.420 to clarify what you actually mean. 0.94
00:47:25.180 I'd say, no, he's not a Jew.
00:47:27.020 He is the Christ.
00:47:28.000 He is the king of the Jews. 0.92
00:47:28.940 The Jews should be worshipping him, but he doesn't worship himself. 0.92
00:47:31.460 He worships the Father. 0.98
00:47:32.460 So no, he's not a Jew.
00:47:34.360 So the point is, it's a much more complex question
00:47:39.360 than people are willing to admit,
00:47:41.340 especially because these days,
00:47:43.700 everybody who wants you to answer the question
00:47:46.260 is either on one side of the aisle or the other.
00:47:50.380 It's a bad faith question.
00:47:51.520 It's a bad faith question.
00:47:53.020 And I don't even mean necessarily from Jake Shields, 0.83
00:47:55.840 but if I had said Jesus is a Jew, 0.98
00:47:57.900 there'd be a whole other group 0.73
00:48:01.280 that would be just giddy.
00:48:02.980 I mean, they'd be, you know.
00:48:05.400 There have been rabbis who've said,
00:48:06.980 this is a jew rabbis have said you know your messiah was a jew therefore you should worship
00:48:10.900 all of us jews they've literally said that so it's like it's twisting of our faith that's exactly 0.86
00:48:15.140 right and so yeah and the i think the better question is um if we're saying jew as a stand 1.00
00:48:21.900 in for israelites according to the flesh descended from abraham isaac and jacob of the line of judah
00:48:27.980 yes of the messianic davidic line yes um absolutely uh but the the real question is
00:48:37.040 if that defines jew and personally i think it should uh then the real question is is bibi
00:48:43.340 netanyahu a jew no so i that's my point is the reason why the question is difficult to answer
00:48:48.880 is because i think you either have to do one or the other you either have to say yes jesus is a
00:48:53.120 Jew, and all these people aren't. Or, yes, they're Jews, in which case, if that's how we're defining
00:48:59.700 Jew, Jesus is not. But this is how the devil works, right? In ambiguity, in the gray area. 0.58
00:49:04.700 Because in the Bible, everything is good versus evil. Everything's pretty much black and white.
00:49:08.160 In the devil's world, it's like, the Jews are those people in Israel, but they're also the 0.98
00:49:11.820 people of the Bible. They are a religious group, but they're also an ethnic group. Like,
00:49:15.800 what are they? Are they our enemy, or are they the people we should be worshiping? Like,
00:49:19.560 that vagueness is from the devil himself. And they go back and forth between the
00:49:23.060 one depending which ones you'll criticize judaism and jews orthodox jews will say why do you hate
00:49:28.160 all jewish people like wait a second you swapped the words on me in real time yeah right and so
00:49:33.260 that's why it's a question that you you cannot um when you're speaking publicly you're being
00:49:39.240 recorded it's going to be put on the internet and you're talking to someone like jake shields who
00:49:43.140 for the record i appreciate um and i want to see jake shields come to christ i want to see him know
00:49:49.920 christ because i love him and i appreciate him um and so if i'm if i'm talking to jake shields and
00:49:56.620 i only have a moment and i'm going to be answering and he asked me is jesus a jew and that conversation
00:50:02.420 is one i care about jake shields and two it's going to be a public conversation that's posted
00:50:06.060 on the internet for everyone to watch then no i'm not going to sit back in my chair and simply say
00:50:10.780 yes of course he's a jew right and then move on yeah the conversation again i just looked it up
00:50:15.540 71 times John uses that phrase, and the semantics really do matter. But, you know, some people are
00:50:20.400 going to come back, you know, John chapter 4 verse 9 says, you know, talking to the woman of Samaria,
00:50:25.300 you know, how is it that you, a Jew, ask for a drink from me, a woman of Samaria? And he doesn't 0.61
00:50:30.200 respond back saying, I'm not a Jew. No, but again, the semantic range for a particular word
00:50:36.760 is the key point, right? If we talk about a trunk of a tree, are we talking about a trunk at the
00:50:40.380 end of your bed? Are we talking about an elephant trunk? You know, what kind of trunk are we
00:50:43.740 talking about? And that's really the conversation that is being had, is that, well, is Jesus a Jew?
00:50:48.940 Well, what do you mean by that? And then yes, if you're talking about that, yes, then yes. If
00:50:53.380 you're not talking about that, then no. Context matters. Context, extremely important while we're
00:50:59.400 having discussions around theology, which we admit in every category of theology, we want to know the
00:51:03.660 historical, grammatical, cultural context in order to have the right answer. And then on top of it,
00:51:08.620 to complicate things further there's the casarian theory which i don't think has a ton of credibility
00:51:14.880 that's not my position there's the edomite theory that i think has more uh substance and i i think
00:51:21.520 could be debated um and then on top of that in terms of the word jew and the way that it's used
00:51:28.220 in the bible um calvin maybe you can speak to this but in terms of translations of the bible
00:51:34.500 um i they're not all the same depending on you know what which particular uh text the received
00:51:42.940 text versus critical text that came later and jewish manuscripts versus what do you want to
00:51:48.860 speak to that for a moment this is true but all of the earlier manuscripts do use that word
00:51:53.440 um in the way that dale used it referring to a category of hebrews and israelites so it does get
00:51:59.160 used many people think that in modernity we've just replaced hebrew with jew in the bible but
00:52:04.000 there are cases where hebrew is used and where jew is used right so they're used synonymous yeah
00:52:09.080 jew referring to all hebrews and not just judeans yeah and so in that sense then it's it's fair to 0.82
00:52:16.600 say yes what it's unhelpful but yes yeah so in that but in that sense it is it is fair to say
00:52:22.840 yes jesus was a jew but when somebody is asking today in the year of our lord 2026
00:52:28.700 The implications of the answer
00:52:31.140 When they say Jesus is a Jew 0.58
00:52:31.660 They mean is Bibi Netanyahu 1.00
00:52:35.800 Right
00:52:36.300 Of the direct lineage of Jesus
00:52:38.900 And I would say spiritually
00:52:40.360 No way in hell
00:52:41.520 And physically
00:52:42.760 There's a debate to be had
00:52:44.380 For this Polish man
00:52:45.960 And like 0.96
00:52:46.880 So
00:52:47.340 I am an unapologetic Bitcoin maximalist
00:52:52.440 Crypto, take it or leave it
00:52:54.120 I'm personally not a fan
00:52:55.760 That's your decision
00:52:56.800 Bitcoin is different
00:52:58.560 I believe it's moral money. I have a strong moral conviction. It's God's money. It's outside of the
00:53:05.840 fiat corrupt currency system. It is finite, so it hedges against inflation. What I don't want to do
00:53:13.220 is trade Bitcoin and sell at a loss out of fear in the next three to six months if the bear market
00:53:19.320 goes lower. I'm not interested in trading Bitcoin on Coinbase or Moomoo or Robinhood. I want to
00:53:26.320 purchase Bitcoin for the long haul 20, 30, 40 years and skip out on the capital gains at the
00:53:33.260 end of the day. That's where I trust capital comes into the equation. Right now, you can have a free
00:53:39.780 $100 added to your account if you use our link in the show notes below. It's itrustcapital.com
00:53:48.420 forward slash go forward slash nxr studios so all that being said a people that at least called
00:53:56.880 themselves jews self-termed as jews yes in uh 1948 come back to the land and establish the
00:54:03.900 modern jewish state there now dispensationals watching across the ocean back in america where
00:54:09.560 dispensationalism that framework of interpretation caught on in the early 1900s it's like they were
00:54:14.580 looking with binoculars, like, write this down, write this down, and it's signified in dispensationalism,
00:54:19.540 dispensationalism is this idea that there are seven dispensations, and in these seven dispensations,
00:54:24.820 God deals with mankind uniquely, so in the dispensation of innocence with Adam in the
00:54:29.440 garden. Adam was innocent, God sets man up on a good footing, gives him a rule, don't eat with
00:54:33.960 the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, and Adam fails it. Well, God tests man again in the
00:54:38.080 dispensation of conscience, and so on and so forth, and so we're in this final dispensation, and the
00:54:43.100 marker with the interpretation that the dispensationalist uses of Daniel 9 is that the
00:54:47.500 end of this dispensation comes when, again, at this final dispensation, God's given his own son.
00:54:52.740 He's given his Holy Spirit that instructs them in all truth. The scriptures have been completed,
00:54:56.720 and still, all of this, God's own son, mankind turns and follows the Antichrist. In the Antichrist,
00:55:04.320 the temple is rebuilt, and this Antichrist is initially favorable to the Jewish people,
00:55:08.740 and he reinstates sacrifices. 0.59
00:55:11.220 And so for dispensationalists in America,
00:55:13.320 and also too in the broader context of the Cold War,
00:55:15.660 I mean, there was through the 60s and the 70s,
00:55:17.760 there was this constant threat of,
00:55:19.680 will we be annihilated by nuclear war?
00:55:22.120 So we've just gone through two horrific world wars
00:55:25.160 that killed tens and millions of people. 0.93
00:55:26.940 We watched Israel, so-called Jews, so-called, 0.79
00:55:30.720 return and establish the modern Jewish state. 0.80
00:55:32.780 We also experienced a Cold War with Russia
00:55:35.340 in which the threat of nuclear annihilation
00:55:37.260 hung over the heads of millions of Americans for basically two decades on end.
00:55:42.120 So it's in that context, then, dispensationalism, how Lindsay and others
00:55:45.520 becomes the default framework in America.
00:55:48.340 Yeah, well, you have in 1970 or 75, I can't remember,
00:55:51.040 but yeah, the late great planet Earth that sells, what, 10 million copies.
00:55:54.860 Hugely successful.
00:55:55.800 You essentially had a cultural priming that was perfect for a book like that.
00:56:01.820 your reality and experience was saying, please give me this confirmation theology to affirm
00:56:08.740 the experience that I've already had. Everything's getting worse, which created, again, a culture of
00:56:14.560 let's not build, let's wait. Let's not work, let's wait. Let's check out from society. It
00:56:20.520 replaced all previous historical eschatologies with this doom and gloom, everything's going
00:56:26.260 to get worse from here, dispensationalism that we all grew up with. I remember my dear grandparents,
00:56:30.780 Barack Obama got elected first term,
00:56:32.960 and it was like, we don't even have three years left.
00:56:36.400 So close.
00:56:38.060 And that's just, I mean, you looked at the times,
00:56:40.420 you looked at apostasy growing, you looked at war. 0.94
00:56:42.720 I mean, Israel's been in war, most of it their own fault, 0.84
00:56:46.000 since pretty much the establishment of their state. 0.78
00:56:47.940 And so the key centerpiece of this theological system
00:56:51.860 is a third temple.
00:56:53.300 The third temple allows the Antichrist to come
00:56:55.540 as a type of literally Antichrist, a dark Christ, 0.51
00:56:59.160 a false messiah to come and offer sacrifices in the dispensationalist framework. Christians are 0.89
00:57:04.040 not to participate, to be clear, in these sacrifices. So to be fair to the dispensationalists, 0.89
00:57:08.520 he's not saying there's going to be a third temple come again. We had Jesus for 2,000 years,
00:57:12.800 but this temple is going to come back and we need to return and offer these up for our sins. No,
00:57:16.980 they view it as apostasy. They view it as dark. They view it as satanic, but it is the linchpin
00:57:23.340 of the end times in this system. Go ahead, Calvin. I think that was a great explanation,
00:57:26.980 but i think that's how it started and it should have been a warning against the antichrist against
00:57:30.980 the end times right i think the modern disputes have most of it comes from a misunderstanding
00:57:35.380 of the word israel so they feel like they have to support israel even in building the third
00:57:40.260 temple because they believe israel are god's chosen people whereas we all know that that
00:57:45.380 we are the new israel not even the new israel we have a continuation of israel the jews who
00:57:49.700 worshipped the messiah along with the gentiles who chose to worship the messiah messiah who
00:57:53.940 who are grafted in, together, they are now known as Christians. That is Israel. That is God's chosen 0.80
00:57:58.900 people. That's us sitting around this. It's the people watching this who believe in Christ.
00:58:03.080 Now, people see Israel in the Bible and think, okay, Israel in the Bible, they see Israel on
00:58:07.520 the map. They think, oh, okay, Israel on the map. Those two things must be the same. Israel and
00:58:11.540 Israel are two different entities. And we are Israel and Israel is the enemy of Israel. 0.84
00:58:17.520 The direct connection too, between the geopolitical implications. If Israel got blown off the map 0.51
00:58:22.020 by Iran. They complete their nuclear program. I mean, they've been working on it for 1,500 years 1.00
00:58:25.760 at this point. They complete their nuclear program, and they blow Israel off the map. 0.94
00:58:29.600 How do we get the end times? So that is why millions and millions of American evangelicals, 0.92
00:58:34.280 as well-meaning as they are, say, we have to directly support Israel, and in supporting them,
00:58:38.640 they will inaugurate the construction and the completion of the Third Temple. 0.87
00:58:41.700 That will allow the system for which the Antichrist rises to power. He makes a treaty. He offers
00:58:47.160 sacrifices again and brings about the end of days and the final return of christ but in that system 0.66
00:58:52.760 you have to support you have to defend america's mission is we've got to hold israel up defend it
00:59:00.860 supply it support it and so she can survive so we can get jesus this is the the main argument is that
00:59:07.860 uh because america is so strangled by dispensationalism it affects our geopolitical
00:59:15.680 world. The root of why we're connected as a nation to Israel is dispensationalism. If you cut
00:59:24.260 dispensationalism off, it eliminates the strength in a big way. The scripture that everybody uses,
00:59:30.900 people will say, you know, I will bless those who bless Israel and curse those who curse Israel.
00:59:36.300 It doesn't even say that in the scriptures. It's talking to Abraham.
00:59:40.240 The question is, again, who is the true Israel?
00:59:42.960 Hosea says, when Israel was a child, I loved him, and out of Egypt I called my son.
00:59:48.780 And we get this confirmation of that prophecy in Matthew 2, verse 14 through 15.
00:59:53.020 It says, and he rose and took the child, Jesus, and his mother by night, and departed to Egypt
00:59:59.460 and remained there until the death of Herod.
01:00:01.960 This was to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, out of Egypt I called my son.
01:00:08.800 it. And so really what it's saying is that those who bless Christ, I will bless. And those who
01:00:14.840 curse Christ, I will curse. That's reaffirmed in Galatians when St. Paul says that the seed of
01:00:19.920 Abraham, who was blessed in Genesis, is not plural. It's Christ. He is the seed of Abraham. But we as
01:00:24.740 Christians, being in Christ, are also the seed of Abraham. Correct. Yeah. So blessing Israel means 0.99
01:00:29.860 blessing the church, means blessing Christians. Antonio, anything to add before we move on?
01:00:33.280 No, well said. To some extent, I think I can be sympathetic to the dispensationalism movement that I think rose to prominence, I think in the 60s and 70s. I think you laid out the history really well geopolitically. I do think there was a sense in America, broadly speaking, of sort of being at the end of history. I mean, at that point, you had emerged into the World War II. America was this global hegemon. Life was great. To some extent, for the average American, it probably felt like life couldn't get any better.
01:01:01.220 I mean, you were wealthy, you had just sort of emerged from this pre-industrialization agricultural society, and now you have a dishwasher, and now you've got cars, and now you've got your own home and property, and you live in a community that's relatively peaceful, and you go to church.
01:01:17.580 And so this sort of foreboding sense as the Cold War emerged coming out of World War II of like, well, we kind of saw the end.
01:01:26.780 We saw how good life could get.
01:01:28.820 And now we're sort of cascading, especially as you mentioned, the British mandate in 1948, Israel's established, immediately brings a ton of conflict to the Middle East.
01:01:38.080 And for the average American who's sitting in the pews, they're thinking, yep, this is this gradual decline now.
01:01:44.620 We've reached the pinnacle of history, the pinnacle of Christendom.
01:01:47.580 Um, and, and things are coming to a conclusion. So you can be sympathetic to that, but as,
01:01:51.620 as you guys have thoughtfully laid out, uh, theologically speaking, there, there really
01:01:55.980 is no, um, argument to be made here. Um, and, uh, I think Americans are starting to wake up
01:02:01.280 to this. I think, especially now with how bad things have gotten, um, and, and sort of these
01:02:06.380 presuppositions and, and to some extent a self-fulfilling prophecy with dispensationalism,
01:02:11.120 it's like, um, this, this isn't working. This is actually, uh, Chris, we've actually seen the
01:02:16.000 decline of Christianity in the West, and something must be done about it, and maybe we've made some
01:02:21.220 theological errors along the way. So I'm optimistic here, but go ahead. It'll basically be a race. 0.98
01:02:27.840 American support for Israel is declining. You look at the polls from 30 and under, 30 and above,
01:02:33.780 it is largely an older generation raised on your late great planet Earth that are largely
01:02:37.980 supportive of this. The younger generation, as they get to power, as they become senators,
01:02:42.200 as hopefully someday elected president, they're not beholden to Israel in the same way. They
01:02:45.840 didn't grow up in the Cold War. They didn't grow up reading these books. Now, in Israel, the Likud
01:02:50.400 Party, it's a coalition government for Benjamin Netanyahu. Like in most of Europe, you have
01:02:55.280 multiple parties, and when none of them have the majority, they form a coalition to accomplish
01:02:59.320 their goals. It is a right-wing nationalist orthodox party. There was recently a law proposed
01:03:04.300 in Israel that Christians that pray Christian prayers at the Wailing Wall could face up to
01:03:08.800 seven years in prison. And so right now in Israel, you have a relatively right-wing. Now, they're not
01:03:13.680 culturally right-wing, right? Israel is very progressive as far as it goes with abortion,
01:03:17.920 as far as it goes with gay rights, so they're not culturally right-wing. But as far as hardline
01:03:22.400 nationalist and orthodox, there is a contingent within the Likud party in power in Israel that
01:03:28.160 are absolute religious hardliners. And as I mentioned earlier, Tim Pool, Adam King,
01:03:32.860 he showed the ashes of the sacrifice of a red heifer. And the breeding process for it,
01:03:37.500 one of the things that was kind of holding back these orthodox hardliners was they had yet to
01:03:41.320 have this inaugural sacrifice that Jewish law required to cleanse the altar again and to lay
01:03:47.160 the foundation that a temple could even be built. This red heifer had to be completely red. Not even 0.75
01:03:52.080 a single hair on it would be white or black or gray or anything else like that. It had to be
01:03:57.600 perfectly bred. They have these priests that live above ground. They spent their whole life
01:04:01.680 literally preparing for this sacrifice, not interacting with other people,
01:04:05.200 specifically trained. But as best we can tell, six months ago, they completed that sacrifice.
01:04:10.040 And so in their religious system, there's no barrier left.
01:04:13.100 What's now required is the political will, the political capital, the willingness to
01:04:18.800 make a move, to make it happen. 0.98
01:04:20.920 We obviously see the war with Iran, and we'll see it's basically a race with the orthodox 0.75
01:04:25.520 side that really is pretty happy with Benjamin Netanyahu, how he's conducted the war, how
01:04:30.020 he glassed Gaza.
01:04:31.300 They're really pretty happy with him. 0.79
01:04:33.020 The strong, hard, right-wing orthodox power, orthodox party is in power.
01:04:37.540 will they succeed in time as American support wanes? They want the Third Temple. They want it
01:04:44.180 built. The older generation of American evangelicals do. The younger generation says no. It's kind of a
01:04:50.020 race against time. Who's going to do so? I forget one thing. God also says no.
01:04:54.700 And that's the final thing. We've got the will. We've got the materials. Well, there's one more
01:05:01.200 person signature that you need on that piece of paper. I want to round it out. We've mentioned
01:05:05.780 it already christians as the true israel but let's go specifically to the temple right has the third
01:05:11.100 temple already been built yes there are three parts to this one is that christ is the temple
01:05:16.980 the revelation teaches that god and the lamb are the new temple and prior to that we learned that
01:05:23.220 christ prophesied that the temple be destroyed and three days later he would rebuild it meaning
01:05:27.240 himself so christ is the temple i have that verse right here mark 14 58 we heard him say i will 0.72
01:05:32.980 destroy this is the accusers of him in court i will destroy this temple that is made with hands
01:05:37.720 with three days i will build another made without hands right secondly we are the temple so
01:05:44.200 certainly christians who are sacramental literally receive the body of christ but all christians
01:05:49.380 receive the the the gift of the holy spirit in baptism so we all receive god within us making
01:05:54.320 us a temple and thirdly the church is the temple the church being the body of christ is the temple
01:05:59.880 of god so christ us the church right uh first peter chapter 2 verses 4 and 5 says as you come
01:06:08.640 to him being christ a living a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of god chosen
01:06:13.940 and precious you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house or a temple
01:06:21.580 to be a holy priesthood to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to god through jesus
01:06:28.420 christ and so this third temple that that is promised is not built with uh with material
01:06:34.420 literal stones but with living stones with the souls of uh of the elect of those that uh that
01:06:41.100 have faith in christ yeah jesus is not just the temple he's also the sacrifice and he's also the
01:06:47.480 priest yeah he's the whole thing and so we have to remember that constantly throughout the old
01:06:51.980 testament everything is preparing us for and pointing us to christ and so even in the garden
01:06:57.600 of Eden. The Garden of Eden is a form of a temple, and you have, what, an entrance on the east,
01:07:03.940 you have angels guarding that entrance, you move to the tabernacle in the Old Testament,
01:07:09.540 and what do you have? You have an entrance on the east, you have angels guarding the cherubim.
01:07:15.060 This continues to push forward. We see it in John 1.14, it says,
01:07:20.580 and the word became flesh and dwelt among us the word there is tabernacled with us he tabernacled
01:07:26.100 you know it's it's constantly showing us this reality that christ is the temple that he is the
01:07:32.120 fulfillment of that and when it makes the connection uh that we are the body of christ and
01:07:38.020 that we are part of that temple we are living stones well through the royal priesthood of all
01:07:42.280 believers we are all priests of that temple correct yeah so we have this there's always
01:07:46.920 this corporate nature of the body of Christ. It's either a flock or it's living stones or it's a
01:07:52.280 bride or there's these elements of members. And so, yeah, we are not waiting for the third temple
01:07:57.820 to be built. Christ is the third temple. His body is the third temple. I don't think that it'll ever
01:08:02.400 be rebuilt. I know many Christians who were dispensational and were waiting, I mean, just 1.00
01:08:07.360 waiting. There's the Temple Institute and they're giving constant updates from Israel. They're 1.00
01:08:11.980 getting ready. I believe that God has specifically providentially permitted the Dome of the Rock
01:08:17.760 to be there, and it's not going away. It's essentially a visible curse of this thing's
01:08:24.000 never going to be rebuilt in this area. I want to draw one incredible parallel. I think Peter
01:08:29.760 Lightheart pulled this out, but it might have been James B. Jordan. If you read 1 Kings in the
01:08:33.760 account of the construction of the first temple, it says this in 1 Kings 6-7,
01:08:37.380 In building the temple, only blocks dressed at the quarry were used,
01:08:40.940 and no hammer, chisel, or any iron tool was heard at the temple site while it was being built.
01:08:45.780 We heard in the cold open Herod's second temple that it gleamed because of its white gold
01:08:50.480 atop a hill like it was a shining star.
01:08:53.140 These first two temples, they're pointing ahead to the spiritual temple.
01:08:56.720 How are you and I formed into living stones,
01:08:58.760 with hammers and sledges and chisels outside being crammed in?
01:09:02.900 No, actually, in silence.
01:09:04.220 the slow work of the spirit shaping us as the living stones that fit together as the kingdom
01:09:09.440 is built up almost imperceptibly without the noise and the construction. To build on what you just
01:09:14.160 said, whereas what Joel said a moment ago, like when Christ says to Peter, you are the rock and
01:09:18.560 on this rock, I will build my church. Yes, he's speaking to Peter, but he's also speaking to all
01:09:21.860 Christians because the rock is our faith. On our faith, he will build the church. And that is the
01:09:26.000 temple. It's not physical rocks. It's our faith in Christ. Yeah. First Corinthians 3.16 says,
01:09:31.920 do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's spirit dwells in you? I mean, right
01:09:37.880 there should be sufficient. You go, where's the next temple? It's right there. Even on a secular
01:09:41.200 worldly level, like since 1948, America has given over $300 billion to Israel, right? Over 80 years.
01:09:49.420 They've had 80 years and $300 billion. They still haven't managed to build this third temple.
01:09:53.240 Okay. I want to talk about this just for a second. Imagine when you have a connection
01:09:57.000 to Israel, and you believe, you essentially misapply the purpose of Scripture to the wrong
01:10:03.380 audience, when you think that our duty as Christians is to give money and support the
01:10:09.460 wrong people. Over here, we have churches, my church included. We can't even afford a building.
01:10:14.640 We can't find a space to rent, barely. And churches all across America are struggling,
01:10:21.360 while Israel is thriving.
01:10:23.940 And this, imagine how much good we could do
01:10:27.720 if all of the money that was given to the wrong body of people
01:10:31.800 was reapplied to the correct body of people,
01:10:35.020 how that would impact the American church.
01:10:38.140 So Dale, are you saying that if Christians actually blessed Israel, 0.53
01:10:40.720 they would be blessed? 0.90
01:10:41.480 They would be blessed, yeah.
01:10:42.720 If we could be blessing Israel, which means blessing Christ
01:10:45.680 and the body of Christ, which is his church,
01:10:47.380 just imagine the scale of the misappropriation of funds that have gone there. And imagine the
01:10:54.920 scale of misappropriated prayers that have gone there. Imagine the scale of misappropriated
01:11:01.280 passion that has gone there. And so we have to understand that, again, dispensationalism in
01:11:06.780 America, if you can cut that root, I believe it starts to deconstruct the geopolitical relationship
01:11:13.380 and even the funding and the prayer and the passion back toward the church and Jesus Christ.
01:11:22.560 Yeah, but that's also why this dispensationalism, this hermeneutic, this interpretive method of
01:11:27.940 the scriptures is so perverse, because it's actually one of the fundamental presuppositions,
01:11:32.200 I think, is defeatism. It's actually that, no, but that's actually good that the church is
01:11:36.680 suffering and being broken down while Israel's being built up. And it's optimistic for Israel 1.00
01:11:42.560 and not for the church, right? It's that, I would say, dispensationalists are post-millennial for 0.50
01:11:48.120 Israel. I just looked up Christians United for Israel, started in 2006 by John Hagee,
01:11:54.440 $100 million estimated over its lifetime that it's received in non-profit donations. How about
01:12:00.540 $100 million to the church to build up parishes of outreach, of evangelism? How much better could
01:12:06.520 that money have been used than to an apostate state that pays for abortions on its dime? 0.76
01:12:11.060 Well, if you look back to Europe with our European brother here, is that you've seen
01:12:18.240 the cathedrals.
01:12:19.060 These cathedrals, throughout history, many of them were funded by the state.
01:12:23.320 There was maybe free land, or there was free support or labor that would come through.
01:12:27.360 And again, over here, we're struggling to find anything.
01:12:30.460 We have to self-fund everything. 0.88
01:12:32.320 And so imagine having a state with a Christian prince or a Christian king that is here to 0.93
01:12:38.300 offer, instead of giving it 0.71
01:12:40.220 millions and billions of dollars to Israel,
01:12:42.520 hey, why don't we rebuild some of the Christendom 0.97
01:12:44.460 here in the West, in these cathedrals
01:12:46.260 here in the West? And we've emphasized the money, which is
01:12:48.300 an issue, but Dale, you also pointed to prayers as
01:12:50.340 well, and the gospel teaches us that the Jews
01:12:52.440 are our enemies for our sake, and
01:12:54.420 therefore we should be praying for them, but not in the way we are praying
01:12:56.400 for them. The imprecatory psalms are what we should
01:12:58.340 be praying for them. The Good Friday
01:13:00.220 prayer is what we should be praying for them, but we're not,
01:13:02.340 and we're giving up the wrong prayers. That's
01:13:04.420 a major issue, even more so than the money.
01:13:05.920 Right. In that vein, if we want Jews to come to faith in Jesus Christ, and we should, 0.50
01:13:12.940 then the Apostle Paul gave us his Holy Spirit-inspired strategy. He said that,
01:13:19.980 I have been appointed by the Holy Spirit to be an apostle to the Gentiles, so that,
01:13:25.220 as the Lord is blessing these Gentile Christians, that my own brothers, my own kinsmen according to
01:13:33.720 the flesh Jews would see the outpouring of the blessing of God falling upon the Gentiles who 0.79
01:13:39.540 received Christ and that they would be roused to some sense of a godly envy a godly jealousy 0.79
01:13:48.300 they would see the blessing of the Lord that should be theirs yes and was by rights once upon
01:13:55.200 a time now shifted and transitioned over to these gentiles who have received christ through faith
01:14:03.740 and that that would be a sign for them um that that christ truly was their messiah and that they 0.95
01:14:10.580 crucified him and rejected him and that they should repent so that they could be placed
01:14:16.220 replaced grafted back in um and receive that blessing once more and i'm i'm just thinking
01:14:23.580 If that's what the Apostle Paul was seeking to do, not only is it wrong, the way that we've directed our resources, our prayers, our tithes and offerings and taxes and military and lives and blood of our sons and even daughters, because we are indeed a wicked nation that sends our own daughters into war.
01:14:46.380 not only have we directed all our resources wrongly, but even for those who desire the best
01:14:55.840 for modern-day Israel in the physical sense, it's such a tragic irony. Because what we've
01:15:09.400 essentially, what we are telling Bibi Netanyahu, what we are telling Ben Shapiro, what we are 0.95
01:15:14.780 telling um ethnic jews both in israel and here in the united states in florida where they're all rich 0.94
01:15:21.860 and boca raton and doing this and doing that what we're telling them as a christian nation and as
01:15:28.660 individual christians and churches and christian ministries that raise 100 million dollars we're
01:15:32.980 telling them um that you can continue to believe that jesus is burning in hell and reject him
01:15:39.220 with animus and all the blessings of god that have been given to his people christians will
01:15:46.280 be transferred to your account so this is the exact same strategy that i see these young 0.96
01:15:53.140 love only ministers use where they walk over to pagans who are living maybe a transsexual life 0.61
01:16:00.720 or they're walking in sin and they're saying you know god loves you yeah and the reality is is that 0.79
01:16:04.740 good news of the gospel is only good because the bad news is bad. And the problem is that people
01:16:09.480 are unwilling, because they don't love people enough, to tell people the bad news. And the bad
01:16:14.900 news is that if you reject Christ, Jew or Gentile, you're going to hell. And you need to actually 0.99
01:16:19.980 offer the case through the scriptures, especially to people who are claiming of Jewish descent,
01:16:24.220 to say, this is what your own scriptures say, and you are walking in opposition to the Messiah that
01:16:32.360 you reject it should produce that holy conviction that holy fear that holy repentance but again
01:16:39.620 let's instead let's just send them billions of dollars and affirm them in their sin it is truly
01:16:43.840 the most unloving thing you can do it's not just bad for them it's bad for us so joel mentioned 0.89
01:16:47.680 the envy of the lord that the jews should have of the gentiles now but many of the gentiles have
01:16:51.760 that over the jews yes we have christ we should have no envy of anyone of anything yes for some
01:16:56.080 reason so many of these disputes look at the jews in israel right now as somehow special a special
01:17:01.660 race of people that have a special connection to God that we'll never have. We have Jesus Christ
01:17:05.420 within us. What are they on about? Okay, the victorious nature also, I think, that people
01:17:09.780 don't realize is that if you look throughout church history and you look at the Crusades
01:17:14.100 are a great example because the Crusaders didn't go and fight for Jerusalem because they thought
01:17:19.160 it was the Jews that was owned by the Jews. They thought that it was owned by the church
01:17:23.280 because... Well, as West started out, it was for a great while. They weren't allowed in,
01:17:27.960 as should be the case today. 1.00
01:17:28.960 Who owns Jerusalem? 0.94
01:17:29.460 Based? 0.99
01:17:30.060 Yeah. 1.00
01:17:30.580 Well, the reality is that the meek will inherit the earth. 0.95
01:17:34.400 All things are ours in Christ. 0.94
01:17:36.200 We have inherited everything in Jesus,
01:17:38.520 and that territory, that cross, that mount,
01:17:42.200 that whole biblical scene is the property of the church.
01:17:47.480 Shall we retake the Holy Land? 0.84
01:17:48.580 We should retake the Holy Land, 100%.
01:17:50.660 Sorry, I cut you off.
01:17:51.260 Yeah, so it's safe to say the provocation toward jealousy
01:17:54.300 has come to pass.
01:17:55.340 what what what we're seeing here in the west currently is christians failing to actually 0.61
01:18:00.700 to your point they'll call the jews to repentance which is the natural conclusion of of that
01:18:06.080 jealousy which is uh our what what we hope for in the world which is reconciliation but that can't
01:18:11.820 come outside of christ yeah i always say well the the jews will come back to christ in the end this
01:18:16.800 is what the scriptures teach but the scriptures teach that every knee shall bow in the end
01:18:19.460 doesn't mean we should sit back and let it happen we have to wait for it we have to evangelize we
01:18:23.780 have to disciple the nations, including the people
01:18:25.880 in Israel. I don't understand that disconnect.
01:18:29.420 Calvin,
01:18:29.940 I'm interested. This seems to be a very
01:18:31.640 uniquely American phenomenon. The support
01:18:33.760 for Israel, the support for 0.74
01:18:35.560 Zionism. Is this something that really
01:18:37.700 is a thing in Europe, or is this just kind of an
01:18:39.560 American problem? It's massively American, but like
01:18:41.760 all American things, it spreads. 0.82
01:18:44.380 We do our duty in export.
01:18:45.660 You do. Your exploitation of bad
01:18:47.640 ideas is awful.
01:18:49.660 I've got good friends who I've, for example,
01:18:51.560 prayed with every week for the last two years
01:18:53.540 for Great Britain because Britain needs as many prayers as we can get. Those prayers have ended
01:18:57.740 this week because I'm not supporting this war on behalf of Israel in Iran, for example. So there
01:19:03.040 are people in Britain who are not dispensationalists, but still have a poor theology of who
01:19:09.480 Israel is. Gotcha. Well, I was just talking to a Canadian friend who visited our church and
01:19:14.900 is considering a relocation to the States. And I asked him, I said, what's the church's
01:19:20.820 relationship with Israel up there, he says, I'm almost non-existent. He said, we see what you're
01:19:25.600 doing down here, but it is a natural, it is a phenomenon of America that we have this great
01:19:31.720 relationship with Israel, which is, again, truly, I believe, the root of this. If you want to go 0.82
01:19:39.040 upstream, there's a bunch of different echelons of upstream, but we have to deconstruct biblically,
01:19:44.760 theologically uh politically philosophically uh polemically well dispensational it's such a modern
01:19:53.700 error or heresy that it's easily broken down like the older churches don't have this issue the reason
01:19:58.160 it's so big in america is because there's so many new churches here yeah that's why are you saying
01:20:02.400 something about protestantism i'm just saying that tradition has its benefits sometimes when
01:20:07.000 you've taught for 2 000 years that we are israel not just the new israel but the spiritual israel
01:20:11.320 the continuation of israel someone comes along 50 in the last 50 years and says actually no that
01:20:16.960 they are god's chosen people we need to do everything for them like there's there's a
01:20:20.620 clear disconnect of of continuity to rich sacred tradition sacred scripture and novelty and
01:20:25.700 innovation that that's what needs to be destroyed yeah yeah yeah when you look at eastern orthodoxy
01:20:30.700 you look at roman catholicism you look at all of the classical protestantism all the way up until
01:20:34.820 really even, I know it was in 1840s or whatever, but really until about 1920, 99% of all Christendom
01:20:43.300 across the world had no framework of dispensationalism whatsoever.
01:20:47.280 Well, this is where you guys can help because the Catholics in this country are being attacked
01:20:49.920 for being anti-Semitic, which is sticking to Catholic theology. 0.66
01:20:52.760 Right. Okay. One more time here at the end. So we have two shows, one with Dale, 0.75
01:20:58.140 one with Calvin that are going to be coming out in the very near future. The name of your show,
01:21:01.900 tale it's going to be? American grit. Yeah. Talking about American life through a Christian lens,
01:21:07.200 the American family, the American identity, the American economy, the American politics,
01:21:11.320 multiple different seasons. Probably have a co-host of mine who was a pastor at our church
01:21:15.880 having a great discussion about things that matter, things that are practical, things that
01:21:19.840 are useful. Great. And then Calvin. My next crusade will be looking at current events from
01:21:24.180 a Christian perspective, and I'll be telling you why it's all down to the Jews. I'm joking. 1.00
01:21:28.240 great and then we also have uh both of your books that we can look forward to in the very near
01:21:34.920 future calvin's will be appearing first and then dale yours will be a little bit late summer early
01:21:40.440 fall is the timeline that we're looking at um calvin your book the silent jihad the silent
01:21:45.720 jihad and i do want to say for the record i believe that uh that you agreed with this that
01:21:51.700 there would be it wouldn't be the lion's share of the book because there is enough that really
01:21:56.760 needs to be said about islam and its conquest of the west or at least its attempt um but at least
01:22:03.940 some disclaimer in the book uh in regards to the the doors of toledo and uh and how to um who held
01:22:11.960 it open yeah who who keeps letting them i get attacked on this from both sides because i
01:22:16.180 mentioned the problem of islam are people like yeah but it's the jews who opened the door i'm 0.99
01:22:19.820 like yeah i mentioned the problem of judaism they're like yeah but the mohammedans are raping 0.96
01:22:23.160 your daughters like these are both issues they both need addressing islam has taken over yes 1.00
01:22:27.740 it's the broom of the jews and they have opened the gates and it's the reason we have barbarians 1.00
01:22:32.060 everywhere but the barbarians need dealing with yes and we're not dealing with them they are 1.00
01:22:35.440 literally raping our daughters so let's get them out and let's close the doors and let's kick out 0.92
01:22:39.100 the people who are opening the doors too yes very well said and then dale your book 19 reasons to 0.98
01:22:44.480 repeal the 19th amendment uh i'm going to go through primarily the the theological the ideological
01:22:50.740 the philosophical, the economic, the political reasons, every possible dimension, and a fairly
01:22:59.940 short book, but giving an overview of the land of the damage that has been done through the 19th
01:23:06.280 Amendment, and why it's not just wrong against Scripture, coming from a biblical patriarchal
01:23:13.100 perspective, but why it's never been done throughout history from any other nation,
01:23:18.620 and any other nation that embraces such a view 0.99
01:23:21.480 where you're putting women in charge 1.00
01:23:23.020 of making decisions for a particular nation, 1.00
01:23:25.300 that nation falls.
01:23:26.180 And so I think there's going to be a lot of evidence,
01:23:28.160 a lot of research,
01:23:29.400 a lot of even looking at women suffer more 0.97
01:23:32.720 from women's suffrage.
01:23:33.820 Also that you have,
01:23:36.540 when the 19th Amendment first came to be, 0.86
01:23:38.620 that there was a massive group of women 1.00
01:23:40.300 that were against it.
01:23:41.520 And so you never hear some of these narratives.
01:23:43.300 So the history of it, the argument against it,
01:23:45.340 and many reasons justifying it,
01:23:46.940 I think that by the end people are going to go, 0.99
01:23:48.620 wow, I think women at the end are going to go, we must repeal this. And that's my hope, 1.00
01:23:53.600 is that we can get thousands of people to read this book and that we can, over maybe the next
01:23:57.440 10, 15 years, have a Supreme Court case repealing the 19th. If we can repeal Roe v. Wade or overturn
01:24:05.140 Roe v. Wade, then I think we can overturn the 19th Amendment. It's just going to take time.
01:24:10.160 Wow. Some good Christian sexism. 1.00
01:24:12.260 Yes. That's right. 0.99
01:24:13.200 Christian sexism. 0.95
01:24:13.740 Okay. Well, that's our show for today. We hope that you have enjoyed it and been blessed by it. 0.87
