00:24:10.540boat arrivals as it is a much longer crossing than to Dover. But of course, we saw that there
00:24:15.760were already coaches staged there. There were already the goodies, the pajamas and shoes and
00:24:21.160everything staged for them. So it was not unexpected that these boats were going to
00:24:25.420going to arrive. The British border officers tried to take the migrants on coaches to an
00:24:30.100silent processing center in Kent, but were met with an impromptu crowd of protesters,
00:24:33.520many of whom were masked. As those in Dover have been, there were scuffles between police
00:24:38.200and protesters. Both of these were organized by well-known British anti-migrant agitator,
00:24:44.560patriotic activist, Daniel Thomas, 37, who styles himself on social media as Danny Tomo.
00:24:50.280Thomas has been a prominent around Britain's hard-right activist scene for the past decade
00:24:54.120following his release from prison. After a two-year sentence for attempted kidnapping
00:24:57.940in 2016 Thomas said he became religious after prison now that to me is a mark against him
00:25:05.640obviously I mean I don't know the details very well could have been something as simple as a
00:25:10.120custody dispute I don't know but I know that people are recruited from prison I mean where

00:26:07.340years. The Dover protest was carried out under the banner of Patriot Platform, which he launched
00:26:11.260this year. He has warned in recent months that his fellow right-wing activists would increasingly
00:26:14.920engage in this sort of direct action that's more closely associated with the activists on the
00:26:19.120fringes of the hard left for years. Direct action is exactly what we need. They are not listening.
00:26:25.200They do not care. You have to physically stop them. And that's what it seems like this guy's doing.
00:26:30.520His relationship with Tommy Robinson, a lot of people on our side are suspicious of Tommy
00:26:34.760Robinson, I think for good reason. His loyalty to the IDF is very suspicious. He, of course,
00:26:40.980His real name is Stephen Yaxley Lennon. Thomas has acted as Robinson's bodyguard. The Irish
00:26:45.780Times also saw him in a private area backstage at a right-wing political and religious event
00:26:49.740organized in London by Robinson last December. He has, however, publicly called out Robinson
00:26:56.340and basically said that he's controlled by Zionists. So there's been some break there.
00:27:02.240However, that could be also manufactured. I don't really know. And, you know, obviously,
00:27:07.680this protest for it to succeed, for any movement like this to succeed, it has to be hyper laser
00:27:13.560focused on its identity and its ultimate goals. Protests basically get torn apart from the inside.
00:27:23.200They spiral out of control when there's not a very clear sided purpose to the activism. The
00:27:29.460purpose here would be to stop the boats, to physically prevent the boats from getting there.
00:27:33.440like that is a good solid nationalistic thing to promote and to pursue if it starts becoming this
00:27:41.960you know anti-muslim but pro-hindi and pro-jewish thing like tommy robinson does then it could
00:27:48.480potentially be worse than useless it could actually be counterproductive but as long as

00:28:27.420critics as vigilantes. Now, we'll get into the Henry Novak case and all of that. But of course,
00:28:32.700it was only a day after this protest, which was peaceful, as they admitted, which was
00:28:41.180effectively protesting a government policy, as is in the unwritten constitution of the British
00:28:49.420people. But of course, the day after, ban masks at protests to face down the hard right.
00:28:54.740The Home Secretary has also asked forces to make greater use of facial recognition technology, CCTV and body warm cameras, because, of course, of course, after a decade of riots by people on the British left.
