00:00:35.680 right? So the, um, what is it? The, uh, hormonal birth control pill, hormonal birth control pill

00:00:42.220 or a depot shot. Uh, you could add in there. Um, I, oh gosh, IUD. I always get it confused. IED

00:00:50.280 is a bomb planted in the ground that explodes quite different, but not that different than an

00:00:55.960 IED, which is a bomb implanted in a woman's arm that explodes a child. So that being said,

00:01:01.380 that already gives you a little bit of my opinion. So what's my opinion on, so you're saying, Katie,

00:01:05.820 you're saying obviously the birth, the morning after pill is abortive by nature and not just

00:01:11.640 the nature of what the pill does, but the intent of the one who takes it, right? You're taking it

00:01:16.580 with the intention of if I do have life in my womb, I want to kill it, right? So you're absolutely 0.99

00:01:28.900 though about, you know, let's just, we'll just focus on the birth hormonal pill because we'll

00:01:33.680 make an argument from the lesser to the greater, right? So if I can argue against using the pill,

00:01:38.700 the daily pill for birth control, then certainly you can't do the IUD, you know, or the depot shot

00:01:44.600 or whatever. So I would say, no, you can't do the pill. My wife and I, before we knew these things,

00:01:51.300 before we had researched these things or heard any teaching on these things. I never heard pastors

00:01:55.420 talk about it. I never heard it preached from the pulpit or anything like that. Um, our first,

00:02:00.020 it wasn't long, but about two, three months of marriage, um, we, my wife was taking the pill

00:02:05.660 and then we came to this conviction. We, we became aware of what we were doing and everything that

00:02:11.220 was involved in the truth of God's word in light of these matters and immediately stopped taking

00:02:17.300 that pill. And so we failed at this. And I think there's a lot of ignorance around the subject.

00:02:22.820 Part of the reason why there's ignorance around the subject is because there's deception. There's

00:02:26.940 deception in the medical realm. All right. So if you go to your doctor, women, and you ask,

00:02:34.000 is this pill abortive in nature? They're going to say, oh, no, no, no, no. No, it's not. Don't 0.51

00:02:38.500 you worry. And they're lying. I want you to know right now they are lying to you. All right. So

00:02:42.920 let me explain. So some of this is, I'll get to some biblical things, but a lot of this is just

00:02:46.580 technical. And then the only reason I know it is I'm not a biologist, but I do know what a woman

00:02:51.380 is. I know what a baby is. I know what a pill is. I know these things because I'm not a biologist,

00:02:56.280 but I'm a Christian. I have common sense and an open Bible. And I live in God's world with

00:03:00.660 natural revelation and blah, blah, blah. So this is what I learned. I had to research these things

00:03:04.780 because I'm a Christian. I want to live honorably before God, which involves you having to do a lot

00:03:08.720 of research on a lot of things. I had to research vaccines and not just the COVID vaccine, but I

00:03:14.280 went back since then and was like, should we be giving our kids all these other vaccines? You know,

00:03:19.120 and looking at this and looking at that. And so being a part of being a Christian, let me just

00:03:22.540 say this, part of being a Christian means hard work. Just like, there's a lot of things that

00:03:27.420 we have to research and learn and know. If we want to really take our responsibility of living

00:03:36.440 in God's world righteously and responsibly and exercising proper stewardship over our children

00:03:42.180 and over our finances and over this and over, there's just, there's a lot to do. It's a lot

00:03:46.300 of work. So the doctor will say, this is not abortive in nature. That's because they changed

00:03:52.040 the definition of conception. So what the medical establishment has done, particularly applying it

00:03:58.420 to this issue of birth control, is they've said that a child is not conceived, or they would say

00:04:03.700 a fetus, is not conceived until implantation. Whereas what Christians have always held 0.94

00:04:10.020 in a long time before we had ultrasounds and sonograms 0.99

00:04:14.100 and all that kind of stuff,

00:04:14.600 before we ever had the medical technology

00:04:25.400 church history for 2,000 years,

00:04:27.400 is that conception, life begins at conception

00:04:29.900 and conception is defined by fertilization.

00:04:34.580 The sperm, the seed of the man entering the woman

00:04:39.040 and entering particularly one of her eggs that's so so the question is this conception we believe

00:04:46.220 as christians in the sanctity upholding the sanctity of life that life begins human life

00:04:50.660 begins at conception so the question is where is conception is it implantation or fertilization

00:04:57.340 fertilization is the answer when when you have a zygote when you have an egg that has been

00:05:04.160 fertilized by a sperm that is the beginning of human life that is conception and that was even

00:05:11.600 for the pagan the unbelieving world that was the medical understanding for quite a while until

00:05:16.220 somewhat recently and they changed it from fertilization to now that fertilized egg has to

00:05:21.140 implant and then it's conception so when the doctor tells you no this this birth hormonal

00:05:27.900 birth control pill is not aborted by nature. What he's saying is that it very well may abort,

00:05:36.680 kill, end the life of a fertilized egg. It just won't do it after the egg's been implanted.

00:05:43.980 But it will do it after fertilization. There are three measures, okay? Three measures that are

00:05:50.040 baked in. It's the design of the pill. The first is to thicken the cervical fluid

00:05:56.140 in the woman to slow down the swimmers from the man, the sperm, to where they get bogged down 0.97

00:06:05.760 and they can't make it to the egg. That's the first measure. That would be preventative, 1.00

00:06:09.860 not abortive. That would hinder an egg from being fertilized, not take a fertilized egg

00:06:17.460 and kill it. There is a difference between preventative and abortive. The first measure,

00:06:23.520 three measures. First is not abortive, but preventative. The second is also preventative.

00:06:29.300 It's to hinder the cycle of the woman so that she does not produce eggs to be fertilized to begin 1.00

00:06:36.860 with. Also preventative. So thickening of the cervical fluid to slow down the sperm so they 0.78

00:06:41.260 don't make it to the egg. And then also ensuring that if they did make it to the egg, there's no

00:06:45.480 egg there to begin with. That's also preventative. Now I'm not even going to get into like whether

00:06:50.020 or not, you know, these are good health decisions, which I would argue in many cases, they're not.

00:06:54.220 And for women who have difficult periods and those, I understand there are different reasons

00:07:00.980 why a woman for hormonal reasons might, but there are other options. I don't have time to go into

00:07:04.760 that, but I would again say being a Christian is hard work, go, you know, read, do some research,

00:07:09.780 but there are other options besides taking the pill. So number one, three measures. One is

00:07:13.640 preventative, slows down the sperm. Number two, make sure the egg isn't there, even if the sperm

00:07:19.000 arrive but the third measure and this is on the box i mean you get i mean this is they boast of

00:07:23.540 this right because they're they're trying to sell a product and say this is highly effective and the

00:07:27.200 reason it's highly effective is because it doesn't just have one shot of stopping you from getting

00:07:31.120 pregnant but three shots three different methods and and the third method is right there you can

00:07:36.400 read it the third method is the thinning of the uterine lining and the uterus the thinning of the

00:07:43.160 lining and this method ensures that if the cervical fluid did not get quite thick enough

00:07:48.740 and therefore the sperm makes it and the egg was actually there it didn't get stopped with the

00:07:54.820 woman's cycle and fertilization actually happened which we believe that's the moment of conception

00:07:59.660 and therefore that's when life begins this now child young child as young as you could possibly

00:08:06.220 be, but a child, human being, life, this life is now going to an inhospitable environment

00:08:15.020 because what the egg then needs to do is attach to the uterine lining, but it can't because the

00:08:23.520 wall, the lining has been thinned in such a way that the egg has nowhere to go. This fertilized

00:08:29.080 egg, this person dies. And here's the real whore that they won't tell you and you need to know. 1.00

00:08:36.220 women who take the birth control pill, right? Cause I know the logic, the argument is this, 0.99

00:08:40.300 right? So some of you might be, so this is part of the logic. Well, if, if you know, the only way

00:08:45.340 that would happen, Pastor Joel is, is, you know, basically what you're saying is the first two

00:08:49.100 measures that are preventative would have to fail in order for the egg to be fertilized in the first

00:08:54.100 place. But then the third measure of thinning the uterine lining would have to remain intact.

00:08:59.520 And that's the only scenario that could, that could accomplish, you know, a child being aborted

00:09:05.540 with the pill. The first two measures would have to fail that are preventative, but the third

00:09:10.420 measure remain intact that is abortive. And the argument, because I've heard the counters, the

00:09:15.020 argument is, well, if the first two measures are failing, then that just means the pill's not

00:09:19.600 working. That means the third measure is failing also. There's no science, no data, no studies

00:09:24.320 whatsoever to back that up. None. And there never will be because research costs money

00:09:30.380 and there is no incentive for these birth control pill companies to do that research.

00:09:37.800 No incentive whatsoever. So, so my point is, you're just, it's Russian roulette. So you're

00:09:41.840 saying, well, I think, right, you can't base it off of facts and research and data because there

00:09:46.740 is not. So you're just, it's just a hunch. You're just saying, well, I think Joel, that if the pill,

00:09:51.780 if two thirds of the pill isn't working, right, the first two measures preventative, then I think,

00:09:56.580 I just believe in my heart that, you know, it's all or nothing.

00:10:01.180 I just think that's the way it works.

00:10:05.660 So that's going to be your rhetoric, your argument when you stand before a thrice holy God.

00:11:11.820 The last thing that I was going to say is even if you hold to that counter, it's all

00:11:15.740 If the first two preventative measures are failing, then I believe the third one's failing.

00:11:19.620 And so therefore, in that case, there's no scenario where my child would be aborted.

00:11:24.940 And therefore, I think it's ethical to use the pill.

00:11:27.180 Okay, there are studies on this, what I'm about to say.

00:11:30.800 Women who go off the pill often have a lot of health problems, right?

00:11:37.100 But a lot of times what will happen is the cervical fluid out of these three measures,

00:11:42.140 the third measure, the one that's abortive,

00:11:44.960 that that will be the last element to come back into alignment. What I mean is the cervical fluid

00:11:52.340 that slows down the sperm, that'll begin to thin and go back to normal much quicker than the

00:11:58.120 uterine lining thickening and going back to normal. So what happens and producing eggs and getting

00:12:03.980 back on our cycle, all those things, right? Her cervical fluid going back to normal, her producing 1.00

00:12:09.020 eggs again and ovulating like normal. Both of those things statistically will happen before,

00:12:15.860 sometimes even six months before the lining of her uterine wall goes back to normal, 1.00

00:12:23.040 which means now her body for six months is a baby killing machine. And I'm not saying that

00:12:33.260 she meant to do that. Most women are ignorant of that. Christian women have done this and they 0.99

00:12:36.640 don't know but but her in real terms objectively scientifically because we're christians we like

00:12:42.100 science just actual science not the science but actual science the science is that uh the first

00:12:50.440 two measures will come back they'll drop off and and she'll go back to normal much quicker in the

00:12:55.580 first two regards than the third which means all of a sudden the sperm are making it to the egg 1.00

00:12:59.920 and she's ovulating now there's an egg to be fertilized but that third measure of the uterine

00:13:06.540 lining has not yet come back to normal. And so now she's just, boom, producing eggs. Her husband 0.88

00:13:12.980 is fertilizing those eggs, and those eggs are dying. They're being terminated. They have nowhere

00:13:20.640 to go. And honestly, there's so many things. With abortion, it's, you know, obviously thou

00:13:27.060 shall not murder, right? The sixth commandment, Exodus 20. But even in addition, there are 0.88

00:13:31.300 commandments all throughout the Bible that talk about exercising hospitality and loving our

00:13:36.740 neighbor. Women, the child in your womb is your neighbor. It's one of your closest neighbors. I

00:13:44.840 mean, literally, physically, is the closest neighbor. But also in terms of relationally

00:13:50.840 and figuratively, this is your child, right? That baby is your neighbor. Really your neighbor. If

00:13:57.800 anyone's your neighbor. That baby is your neighbor. And we're called to love our neighbor.

00:14:01.640 And one of the commandments that we find throughout the scripture again and again,

00:14:04.740 in exercising love for our neighbor is exercising hospitality. And so women, you want to host people

00:14:10.100 in your homes. You want that home to be clean. You want it to be nice. You don't want it to be 1.00

00:14:13.440 dangerous, right? You don't want to have a family over in your home, cook a meal for them and have

00:14:16.940 poison the meal, right? You don't want to have a family in your home with young children and have

00:14:20.640 glass on the ground that can cut them. Then you want to love your neighbor. That child in your

00:14:25.740 womb is your neighbor. And your womb is a place where you are exercising hospitality to that

00:14:32.000 little neighbor. So make it a hospitable place. Make it a place of warmth and safety and love

00:14:39.980 and not a place of danger and death and destruction. And again, Christian women who are 1.00

00:14:46.260 listening to this, if you're not already on board, some of you are probably amening. I can't see the 0.99

00:14:50.920 comments, Nathan's watching them. But you know, if you're amening, then you already knew and praise

00:14:55.600 God. And a lot of you who are maybe reacting right now with terror, I'll give you the benefit of the

00:15:01.460 doubt that it's probably because not malice, but ignorance. You just didn't know. And you didn't

00:15:05.840 know because these things are hidden. Our world doesn't want you to know. The medical establishment

00:15:11.320 does not want you to know. Pharmaceutical companies do not want you to know. Your doctor who's really

00:15:15.760 friendly with you when he visits with like, he doesn't want you to know. He may be nice, but he's

00:15:21.420 not. He doesn't want you to know. Um, but now, you know, and you're responsible for what you know,

00:15:27.560 and you're responsible for what you don't know. Ignorance is not innocence, but you're
