00:00:00.000 there's no small debate regarding the origins and essence of bigfoot what is
00:00:11.640 he hundreds if not even thousands of theories have been offered but over the course of time
00:00:17.940 three dominant views have emerged as the most popular consensus bigfoot represents a previously
00:00:25.620 undiscovered species of hominy this notion initially appears plausible considering the
00:00:31.860 vast expanse of dense forest and remote mountains where such creatures could potentially reside
00:00:39.300 however sustaining a viable population becomes problematic among the lakota and ojibwe communities
00:00:47.780 bigfoot is viewed as a spirit guide and messenger signaling the necessity for change or purification
00:00:55.620 Believed to exist in a separate dimension, these entities can manifest in our reality when compelled to do so.
00:01:05.860 Researchers eventually observed a peculiar correlation between Bigfoot sightings and unusual aerial phenomenon.
00:01:14.040 This led to the speculative theory suggesting that Bigfoot's elusive nature stems from its arrival via a spaceship,
00:01:21.820 leaving behind footprints before departing.
00:01:25.860 However, the connection extends beyond mere statistical observation.
00:01:31.560 In certain instances, Bigfoot appears to be influenced or controlled by another extraterrestrial species.
00:01:39.520 Numerous reports describe aliens emerging from vast, hovering, disc-shaped UFOs
00:01:45.800 and strolling into the force accompanied by a towering, hairy, ape-like creature
00:01:51.640 which exhibits signs of subservience towards them.
00:02:04.160 Bigfoot confirmed.
00:02:05.340 Bigfoot.
00:02:05.820 Bigfoot, and I cannot emphasize this enough, confirmed.
00:02:10.060 Confirmed.
00:02:10.460 Confirmed.
00:02:11.060 Yeah, so these are the three most popular views.
00:02:13.260 We're not saying it's the three of our views.
00:02:14.820 Right.
00:02:15.800 But these are very popular views.
00:02:18.260 If you look into Bigfoot, look into videos,
00:02:20.760 look into podcasts, look into all that,
00:02:22.780 they usually fall into some variation of one of those three.
00:02:25.540 What do you think?
00:02:26.500 Oh, man.
00:02:27.200 So the first thing that I think is helpful to do
00:02:29.380 is address the question of whether or not Bigfoot is just an animal.
00:02:33.140 Some kind of hominid-type ape species that we haven't found yet.
00:02:36.720 I like how you didn't even start with whether Bigfoot actually exists at all.
00:02:39.800 Oh, well, I mean...
00:02:40.640 We're not such a kid.
00:02:41.680 We don't believe Bigfoot exists at all.
00:02:44.340 Here's the thing.
00:02:44.860 viewer if you're watching this and you don't believe that bigfoot exists what are you doing
00:02:50.440 i don't know what to do i can't help you and i have to i need to be honest and confess first
00:02:54.740 time ben talked to me about bigfoot i was like no are you kidding me that was recent
00:02:58.960 joel first time that well it was seven months ago that's that's recent that's recent but a lot
00:03:04.860 you can get radicalized these days these days in the 2020s memes alone yeah in the 2020s you
00:03:12.440 You can go, yeah.
00:03:13.740 So anyways.
00:03:14.360 Anyway, sorry, Ben.
00:03:15.020 We're going to make the blanket assumption
00:03:16.220 that Bigfoot is dead.
00:03:16.680 Let's just, first of all,
00:03:17.720 let's just assume what is obvious to everybody.
00:03:19.560 And the thing is,
00:03:20.240 is that's not a big assumption.
00:03:22.380 That's a pretty,
00:03:22.720 that's a,
00:03:23.220 that's an obvious presupposition.
00:03:24.380 I firmly believe that
00:03:25.340 because of the number of eyewitness accounts
00:03:27.660 that I think are credible
00:03:28.780 that have seen this,
00:03:30.660 and not only that,
00:03:31.540 but also across folklore.
00:03:33.380 Yes.
00:03:33.880 For thousands of years in cross continents,
00:03:37.260 I do believe that Bigfoot is a real thing.
00:03:40.080 The question is, what is it?
00:03:41.100 functionally a Bigfoot character, probably not called Bigfoot because that's the most walkie
00:03:46.000 talkie type name that you could. Yeah. Walkie. Walkie. I walkie. I talkie. It's a big. It has
00:03:51.800 a big foot. It's Bigfoot. Uh, but most cultures have a Sasquatch type character, Yeti, et cetera.
00:03:58.300 Skunk ape. Yes. Beast of Bray Road. Abominable snowman. Yeah. Sasquatch. Sasquatch. Yep. 0.96
00:04:05.820 said that one. Sasquatch is another one. Right. There's also Sasquatch. There's Sasquatch too.
00:04:12.980 Saskatchewan. It's actually a place. No, Sasquatchewan.
00:04:21.840 We're locked in right now. I think that the helpful thing to do is first settle where we
00:04:27.780 stand on whether or not it's an animal or something else. Yeah. Can I weigh in a little
00:04:32.400 Is that fine? Because I do agree. If you're doing a genus of ideas here, physical animal merely
00:04:41.040 on the level of a bear, a Labrador retriever, an otter, or a platypus, there are weird things in
00:04:45.680 God's world. One of those things I just mentioned in that list has a bill, is a mammal, lays eggs,
00:04:50.680 has a poisonous spur on its foot. That's a real thing. It's called a platypus. So before we say
00:04:56.880 like there's no way, obviously there's a way. Please see exhibit platypus. Second, there's,
00:05:02.800 it could be any spiritual thing at all. And then it's a whole big bucket of worms that we can get
00:05:08.380 into. I do, although want to say that I heard a compelling view that has given me pause in my
00:05:14.100 conclusion that it was real and a spiritual, which is already, that's my published opinion.
00:05:18.920 Everyone knows that is that it's real and it's spiritual. There's actually another option that
00:05:23.760 I've found recently somewhat compelling. And it's the idea that there was such a creature that was
00:05:29.560 an animal that was similar, or at least the idea or the inspiration that has died off in the last
00:05:38.720 few centuries in North America, at least, that there was a population of these creatures that
00:05:43.460 really was an animal and that also latched onto the animal in a similar way that we have with
00:05:48.500 dragons and with other creatures that are really physical animals that did exist or do exist.
00:05:53.760 and that they were particularly usable vehicles
00:05:57.760 for spiritual deception,
00:06:00.180 and that now the native population
00:06:02.560 has died off in North America,
00:06:04.500 maybe as recently as the second half of the 20th century,
00:06:08.080 and that now all that is is the spiritual deception.
00:06:12.600 Ben, what do you think about that?
00:06:13.880 That just seems so convoluted.
00:06:16.320 Dragons, that's what we think about dragons?
00:06:18.140 It makes a ton of sense.
00:06:19.160 It makes a ton of sense for dragons because it's a dragon,
00:06:21.380 But you don't hear Satan coming to Eve like, I'm a big, hairy man.
00:06:25.760 Hang on, though.
00:06:26.820 No, no, no.
00:06:27.680 But think about the usefulness of this as evolutionary cult. 0.95
00:06:30.540 Well, not coming to Eve, but coming to Native Americans. 0.92
00:06:32.220 That's what I'm...
00:06:33.100 Joel, thank you.
00:06:33.720 Part of the reason that I stick with the real and spiritual...
00:06:37.000 Actually, I don't know if I believe what I just...
00:06:38.820 I just heard it.
00:06:39.520 It made me think, like, what if?
00:06:41.600 That's a genuine possibility.
00:06:43.260 The guy sounded so confident.
00:06:44.340 Dude, it's on the chart of things that could...
00:06:46.460 Like the big wall with the strings.
00:06:49.080 I am worked up.
00:06:50.480 You see, they're slick.
00:06:51.080 But anyway, I just think, so the reason that I stick with the real part, well, the reason,
00:06:58.320 part of the reason that I stick with the real spiritual is because of the Gilgamesh story
00:07:03.280 with Enkidu.
00:07:04.100 Yeah.
00:07:04.400 As far back as the earliest written story in the world, we have the wild man who's made
00:07:09.500 by the gods, who are clearly, by the way, demons.
00:07:12.620 They're demons.
00:07:13.300 So I'm sticking with that partly because of the Gilgamesh.
00:07:16.680 With the animal view, just real quickly, you have figures in the Bigfoot research world today, like Jeffrey Meldrum, et al., and their basic theory is that Bigfoot is some kind of hominid and gigantopithecus, australopithecus, these kind of large evolutionary byway between a Neanderthal or some pre-human into Homo sapiens.
00:07:43.740 and they will very seriously pursue this
00:07:47.240 as a physical creature
00:07:48.340 and this is one of the reasons
00:07:50.080 that I think the deception is
00:07:51.300 it's so Swiss Army Knife.
00:07:53.220 It can be,
00:07:54.520 look, I have a way 0.97
00:07:55.480 that I can deceive modern Americans
00:07:57.260 with this Bigfoot thing.
00:07:59.720 Yeah.
00:08:00.000 And also as a nature spirit
00:08:02.600 to the Ojibwe
00:08:03.360 and the gullible people
00:08:04.340 that I descend from,
00:08:05.460 the Chippewa.
00:08:06.160 Multi-purpose, yeah.
00:08:07.080 It's a multi-purpose tool. 1.00
00:08:08.380 I can get the Darwinian stupid moderns 0.99
00:08:10.580 and I can also get the peyote. 1.00
00:08:12.760 The stupidest ancients in the world. 1.00
00:08:14.480 Weed it out, yeah. 1.00
00:08:14.880 If we can get my people, we can.
00:08:17.600 That's one of the reasons that I think
00:08:19.260 that this is such a common trope
00:08:22.620 and common spiritual deception
00:08:25.380 is because of this evolutionary link
00:08:28.520 that can be used so conveniently to deceive moderns.
00:08:34.140 What better way to convince
00:08:37.020 modern evolutionary Americans or anywhere?
00:08:41.380 Or show them allegedly the missing link.
00:08:42.560 Look, here's a living missing link.
00:08:44.220 Right, yeah.
00:08:44.720 It's clearly intelligent.
00:08:46.100 It's clearly related to our family tree
00:08:48.980 of upright, bipedal ape creatures.
00:08:54.840 But it's not quite either.
00:08:57.180 Right.
00:08:57.820 Convenient.
00:08:58.620 Convenient.
00:08:59.220 Would there be anything that could convince you
00:09:02.540 that it is just an animal?
00:09:05.040 Oh, yeah.
00:09:05.500 Like I said, I actually think it's compelling
00:09:07.240 that there may even have been an animal like this.
00:09:09.800 What would it take?
00:09:10.640 because I think that the thing that I would accept
00:09:15.100 is that originally the Bigfoot
00:09:18.960 was the dweller of hollow earth exclusively.
00:09:23.300 Okay, wow, we just took a left turn.
00:09:25.800 What I love about this real quick before we go down
00:09:28.380 because we got to go down.
00:09:29.400 I'm not ready to go down.
00:09:30.300 We need to spelunk this theory.
00:09:32.980 But what I love about it is that
00:09:34.400 Ben just like laughed at Brian for a good bit
00:09:38.360 with his theory.
00:09:39.500 Like pretty aggressively.
00:09:40.840 And then, and he's like,
00:09:41.720 now let's get serious.
00:09:43.480 Look, all jokes aside.
00:09:45.260 Brian, what a dollar.
00:09:47.220 Is that he exclusively lived in hollow earth.
00:09:49.380 By the way, by the way,
00:09:51.140 I got to plug real quick.
00:09:52.180 Go check out our hollow earth episode.
00:09:54.520 It's probably our longest episode
00:09:56.320 and it's Mondo and it's primary water.
00:09:58.920 It's hollow earth.
00:09:59.760 It's Sheol, it's dragons, it's sea serpents.
00:10:02.320 And we have a second hollow earth episode
00:10:05.440 only available as bonus content for Patreon supporters.
00:10:08.780 Yes.
00:10:09.080 That is a great point though.
00:10:11.000 I said there could have been a native population
00:10:12.860 of these creatures that the demons
00:10:14.800 later used as a tool
00:10:17.340 to deceive that lived in North America
00:10:19.260 which, by the way, North America, a place we know
00:10:21.220 exists.
00:10:23.380 You laugh.
00:10:24.400 We don't know
00:10:27.020 to what degree
00:10:28.980 we know it exists. You're like, what a silly theory. 0.99
00:10:31.120 Now they might have lived in Hollow Earth. 0.93
00:10:33.580 I'm just saying, you know how
00:10:35.320 we do believe in Hollow Earth.
00:10:37.640 Okay, look, here's one of them.
00:10:38.860 And look, maybe this gets into, I don't want to jump ahead.
00:10:43.000 This might touch on the fairy subject and it may be a distinction without a difference,
00:10:46.560 but I'm going to go for it anyway.
00:10:47.680 Okay.
00:10:47.940 I'm thinking of this right now.
00:10:49.680 Okay.
00:10:50.220 Okay.
00:10:50.520 And you raise a fair point.
00:10:52.200 I'm going to say that.
00:10:53.940 But what if it was a hollow earth dweller exclusively?
00:10:58.960 Okay.
00:10:59.180 In the same way that Ransom and Paralandra saw the creatures under the earth and thought,
00:11:05.060 oh no, they're never going to know that they have a king.
00:11:06.860 And then he's like, nah, they're just there
00:11:08.540 because God likes them.
00:11:09.820 What if that was supposed to be the thing?
00:11:11.760 But then Richard Byrd found him.
00:11:13.800 No, but then we fell.
00:11:15.520 And we fell.
00:11:16.640 We fell.
00:11:17.580 And all of the world fell with us. 0.73
00:11:20.400 And so they primarily still dwell in followers. 0.60
00:11:22.300 In the words of Gimli, he fell.
00:11:26.820 Gimli.
00:11:27.500 Also in the words of Gimli, toss me.
00:11:29.880 I cannot jump the distance.
00:11:31.820 Don't tell the other.
00:11:32.860 I'm very dangerous over short distances.
00:11:34.920 let's just poke him for the rest of the show
00:11:37.400 uh anyway and then are you not entertained okay go ahead and then what what if as dwellers of the
00:11:46.740 hollow earth you know what i'm no keep going keep going you're in no they came up this would
00:11:52.760 explain the one that's like this this would explain the one that's like lord lesson learn
00:11:56.560 the lesson because all this is unhinged um i'm here for it and and it may be true but it would
00:12:02.020 You would have had a lot more sympathy
00:12:03.780 if you hadn't just dogged a very reasonable possibility.
00:12:08.960 But what if as a hollow earth dweller,
00:12:11.940 and maybe actually,
00:12:13.640 maybe the same could be said for dragons. 0.92
00:12:16.040 I'm about to propose just as ridiculous as a theory as that.
00:12:19.120 A hollow earth dweller and a primary water drinker. 0.96
00:12:22.020 Right.
00:12:22.200 And maybe they were sort of a spiritual animal
00:12:28.340 where they're primarily spirit,
00:12:33.380 but they have no reasonable soul.
00:12:36.760 Let me just say this, Ben.
00:12:38.480 First of all, first of all. 1.00
00:12:40.280 And then they manifest as Bigfeet. 0.98
00:12:42.360 The idea that an animal could have strange abilities 0.99
00:12:45.420 like the ability to cloak itself,
00:12:47.400 which is, I didn't make that up.
00:12:48.720 That's something that people talk about a lot with Bigfoot.
00:12:50.760 It can cloak.
00:12:51.420 Well, a chameleon can do that.
00:12:52.820 Yeah, I was about to say,
00:12:53.560 just like look at the things we know animals can already do.
00:12:57.140 Right.
00:12:57.340 Before you laugh at the idea that an unknown animal could do something crazy.
00:13:01.340 And then say the same thing, but crazier.
00:13:03.200 But say something really crazy.
00:13:05.020 Yeah.
00:13:05.320 So I think we're kind of circling around a little bit.
00:13:08.520 But for us, this just really isn't plausibly at least a primarily physical phenomenon.
00:13:15.940 It's probably something.
00:13:18.080 I think it's real, but maybe...
00:13:21.800 But with a unique spiritual component.
00:13:23.500 I think it's spiritual, primarily.
00:13:24.740 Maybe some of the stories though,
00:13:26.680 like one or two of why people even think
00:13:29.500 a physical creature might be helpful,
00:13:32.100 like Ostman and his kidnapping by Bigfoot.
00:13:36.400 Real quick, he was, this was like what, 1920s?
00:13:38.560 It was sometime in the 20th century.
00:13:40.240 I think it was later than that.
00:13:41.780 Early, yeah, like he gets-
00:13:43.600 He was a prospector who was on vacation
00:13:45.440 and he took his vacation in the Canadian back country.
00:13:48.620 And he's out there camping or whatever.
00:13:50.420 And every night for like three nights,
00:13:52.580 he's thinking someone is rummaging through my stuff while I sleep because he'll wake up and
00:13:58.080 everything is like strewn about, but nothing has hurt him. Not like a bear would do though.
00:14:02.440 Right. So he's thinking it's someone, some person, some hobo is coming in and taking my stuff while
00:14:07.000 I'm sleeping. So the next night he decides to stay up with his rifle in hand and he's going to stay
00:14:12.300 up all night and he's going to shoot this thing or scare it away. Maybe not just outright kill 0.96
00:14:17.860 it immediately. But he ends up falling asleep, wakes up from the same sounds and sees that it 0.91
00:14:24.640 is a Bigfoot. And he was actually a known in public Bigfoot denier at the time. Publicly
00:14:30.700 denied Bigfoot multiple times before this. The Bigfoot kidnaps him. Yeah, throws it over in his
00:14:36.400 sleeping bag. Throws him over his shoulder in his sleeping bag. So he's like bouncing around in his
00:14:40.400 sleeping bag. He's, you know, the Bigfoot is running and jumping over ridges and stuff,
00:14:44.660 moving very fast, eventually throws him down on the ground and he uncovers himself to find that
00:14:49.440 he is surrounded by a family of big feet. Big foots. Big foots. And there's a wife and a husband
00:14:55.760 and there's two children. And for the next five days, it's like a week, it's five or six days.
00:15:01.580 He is sitting there with them. He's fed substances. He's given sweet water.
00:15:06.960 They eat all his dip. Interestingly, he's given really good water.
00:15:10.680 Don't they eat his dip? Well, no, that's how he escapes. So he's like,
00:15:13.680 I really want to get out of here. Not because I'm afraid anymore, but I have a job. And so
00:15:19.940 the, the dad Bigfoot or whatever, the one that actually took him is rummaging through his
00:15:25.360 knapsack and finds his bag of snuff and just starts eating it. The whole thing.
00:15:30.080 And the, and the Bigfoot gets violently ill. Yeah. As one does. That'll do. Yeah. And so the,
00:15:35.200 the mother is out like gathering berries or something. Yeah. You don't want to eat it. And
00:15:39.180 the children come and care for the father and so the osman just runs away and he eventually 0.93
00:15:44.360 it stumbles on a road you know heralds a truck it's like the goonies when they take all the dip
00:15:49.900 and then they go on the carnival rides yeah that's what happened to the big that's actually
00:15:53.200 sandlot so here's the oh sandlot here's the other thing dude and that was my bad goonies never say
00:15:58.780 my bad i actually yep my bad real quick before we continue with the show you need to be aware
00:16:03.860 that you're merely watching one episode
00:16:06.300 of what's actually a 10-part series
00:16:09.300 covering all things under the banner of high strangeness.
00:16:12.960 The 10 episodes include the following.
00:16:15.380 Number one, the lost city of Atlantis
00:16:17.800 has just recently been discovered.
00:16:20.180 Episode number two, hollow earth,
00:16:22.680 the last living dragons, and primary water.
00:16:25.880 Episode number three, biblical giants,
00:16:28.020 their clans, sizes, and supernatural abilities.
00:16:32.660 Episode number four, mythological giants.
00:16:36.160 Hercules was actually a Nephilim.
00:16:38.840 Episode number five, everyone has been wrong about Bigfoot.
00:16:43.420 Episode number six, fairies, the elemental spirits.
00:16:47.380 Episode number seven, the biblical case
00:16:49.720 for the existence of mermaids.
00:16:52.720 Episode number eight, ghost. 1.00
00:16:54.920 That's not your grandma, that's a demon.
00:16:58.060 Episode number nine, witches, necromancy,
00:17:01.240 and familiar spirits and lastly episode 10 angels their classifications physicality and sexes now

00:17:45.500 ministries go and check them out today and now back to our program so the other that that seems
00:17:52.760 like here's a family unit,
00:17:54.440 it's clearly an animal
00:17:55.580 according to the story.
00:17:56.580 Right.
00:17:56.900 Second piece of evidence
00:17:58.860 I would point to
00:17:59.580 in favor of the animal theory.
00:18:01.860 Also an animal
00:18:02.380 with a lot of intelligence.
00:18:03.600 Right.
00:18:03.840 That's a key point.
00:18:04.340 And none of this,
00:18:05.580 it could all still be a deception,
00:18:06.980 but in favor of the animal.
00:18:09.080 The other one is,
00:18:09.860 and people might not know this,
00:18:11.520 there is only one piece of evidence
00:18:14.160 that has been film evidence
00:18:16.260 that has been scrutinized
00:18:17.420 more than this piece of evidence.
00:18:19.080 And it would be the Zapruder film
00:18:20.520 of the JFK assassination.
00:18:22.760 The second most scrutinized piece of film evidence in history
00:18:26.060 is the PGF, the Patterson-Gimlin film,
00:18:30.320 which is like a thousand frames
00:18:32.340 or it's a very small number of frames on a camera,
00:18:35.980 a real camera that seemed to capture
00:18:39.220 about a six and a half foot tall female Bigfoot. 1.00
00:18:42.920 Right. 1.00
00:18:43.240 It's the famous scene where you've seen
00:18:44.980 the looking back over shoulder. 0.67
00:18:46.840 And this is the one that like supposedly she has a,
00:18:50.740 the male would have a crest,
00:18:52.240 but she has a hairdo, a beehive hairdo. 0.94
00:18:55.200 No, she doesn't.
00:18:55.760 Have you read that? 1.00
00:18:56.060 She has breasts. 1.00
00:18:57.200 She has breasts. 0.98
00:18:57.600 Right, I know, but I'm talking about crest. 1.00
00:19:00.060 No, she has a crest on her.
00:19:01.980 Right, but I've heard some theories that say,
00:19:04.200 well, this doesn't make sense
00:19:06.080 because the crest on the head would be belonging to the male, 0.99
00:19:09.400 but she has breasts. 1.00
00:19:10.280 She's clearly a female. 1.00
00:19:11.820 Are you talking about a sagittal crest? 1.00
00:19:13.100 And so she's highly intelligent 0.94
00:19:14.540 because that's not actually a crest. 0.99
00:19:16.300 Upon closer examination, she has her hair did. 0.54
00:19:19.500 Wow, she has a weave. 0.96
00:19:20.740 She's a girl. 1.00
00:19:21.420 She's extra feminine. 1.00
00:19:22.140 Yeah, she's like, ooh. 1.00
00:19:23.260 Right, fair enough.
00:19:24.180 And the thing is, you can laugh at it if you see it initially.
00:19:27.360 Goldie, you can look up a stabilized YouTube version of it.
00:19:28.920 If you see it, you're going to think that's fake. 0.98
00:19:30.320 You'll be like, oh, silly.
00:19:31.460 But there are, we talked about it in our multi-part Bigfoot series 0.77
00:19:35.440 we did on Haunted Cosmos.
00:19:36.540 You can look up up to, I mean, 13 hours on Astonishing Legends podcast.
00:19:41.920 They examine the Patterson-Gimlin film
00:19:44.440 and point to some very compelling reasons
00:19:46.640 why it'd be highly difficult for it to be a suit
00:19:50.460 at the time that it was made.
00:19:52.440 It would be all but impossible.
00:19:53.240 All but impossible.
00:19:54.620 Genuinely.
00:19:55.060 And they have the premier costume designer on the show,
00:19:58.600 on the Astonishing Legends episodes,
00:20:00.640 who designed the Planet of the Apes costumes.
00:20:03.640 We're talking about, at that time,
00:20:05.800 $100,000 costumes.
00:20:07.620 The cutting edge.
00:20:08.560 That are hide suits still.
00:20:10.220 They don't have spandex at this time.
00:20:11.800 They can flex.
00:20:12.840 There are features in the film itself
00:20:14.840 that are very difficult to explain by costume design.
00:20:19.620 And- 0.56
00:20:19.760 There's muscles jostling as she walks.
00:20:21.360 It's also at a time period that today,
00:20:23.520 any film evidence you can't believe, just period.
00:20:26.740 You cannot believe film evidence today because of CGI
00:20:29.240 and what we can do in,
00:20:31.420 this was at a period of time when that was not possible.
00:20:34.000 Right.
00:20:34.720 So it's this golden era really
00:20:36.940 where you really could have film or photograph evidence.
00:20:39.400 And it meant something.
00:20:40.100 And even audio evidence with the Sierra sounds.
00:20:42.760 Oh, right.
00:20:43.200 That is, which we don't have time to get into.
00:20:45.540 But just understand that when I say
00:20:48.360 that I even allow for the possibility
00:20:50.300 that there was some kind of population
00:20:52.660 of actual physical creature
00:20:53.980 that maybe was used and has been used as a vehicle.
00:20:57.260 Let's not play the Sierra sounds.
00:20:59.480 No.
00:20:59.820 Let's perform.
00:21:05.980 That's really good.
00:21:07.020 It's like language.
00:21:09.000 Great.
00:21:09.720 That's pretty much it.
00:21:10.100 Just to say, it's not totally silly.
00:21:12.000 You're welcome.
00:21:12.400 You're all welcome.
00:21:12.880 It's not totally silly to say,
00:21:14.520 you say that after we just did the Sierra sounds.
00:21:18.400 That it could be a physical animal is not a, 1.00
00:21:21.620 like I know Christians who still do believe
00:21:23.900 that there are aspects of it
00:21:25.460 that may be deceptive or whatever that also think.
00:21:27.720 Yeah.
00:21:27.980 Yeah, but there could be some kind of,
00:21:30.860 it's not out of the realm of possibility.
00:21:32.520 God did some crazy things.
00:21:34.100 Crazy things.
00:21:35.260 What are some stories that help us confirm in our minds
00:21:38.700 that it's not?
00:21:39.900 Ben, thank you.
00:21:41.020 Because I have one that I really wanted.
00:21:42.380 And it's not just what?
00:21:43.620 It's not just physical.
00:21:44.820 It's not just, but there's something more.
00:21:46.380 I think you need to lead us into this
00:21:47.640 because when you start uncovering the evidence
00:21:50.880 for why you should think
00:21:52.820 that this is not just a physical phenomenon,
00:21:55.420 it gets compelling.
00:21:57.280 Now, a couple of disclaimers.
00:22:00.280 Everything in this is eyewitness testimony.
00:22:02.440 And yeah, you can't.
00:22:03.240 And it's fallible, okay?
00:22:05.240 But at some point,
00:22:06.600 when you start to mount eyewitness testimony
00:22:09.100 with common denominators
00:22:10.360 from people that did not have exposure to this beforehand,
00:22:13.620 you actually start to get a compelling argument.
00:22:15.460 And very little, like people who have professional lives
00:22:18.360 that are not aided by being associated with Bigfoot sites.
00:22:22.360 In fact, their careers or their reputations are hurt by this.
00:22:25.980 Like people that then go on to be like,
00:22:27.300 I'm not talking about this anymore.
00:22:29.060 I'm sick of it.
00:22:30.060 So one of the most compelling stories that I've heard,
00:22:33.100 and the reason it's so compelling
00:22:34.360 is because not only is it an eyewitness testimony,
00:22:36.480 but it's from someone who is in our sort of circles on Twitter, at least. This is an
00:22:44.160 evangelical Christian woman, and she was interviewing a friend of hers for a blog that
00:22:49.680 she has. And this story came up where this guy claimed that his dad oftentimes would go on Big
00:22:57.540 Foot hunts when he was younger. And his dad started, he got more and more obsessed with it,
00:23:03.460 more and more obsessed with it. And so finally his son was like, I would like to go with you
00:23:08.020 because I want to be with my dad. I want to be into what my dad's into every son.
00:23:12.960 And so his dad's like, let's go, let's go. And so they go out there and the father tells the son,
00:23:18.480 okay, here's what you got to look out for. We're going to, once it gets dark, we're going to turn
00:23:23.720 the fire, we're going to douse the fire completely. And we're going to immediately get into our
00:23:28.260 sleeping bags, open air. We're sleeping under the stars. That's how you have to do it. And once the
00:23:32.840 smoke dies down and you just start to begin falling asleep, you'll start to hear sounds
00:23:39.020 and then you will know that they're here. And sure enough, okay, the kid is, he's like,
00:23:45.500 I was 12 years old. I was reasonable. I know that this happened. The smoke died down. I was not
00:23:52.240 close to falling asleep. My dad was wrong about that. But I heard the pitter patter of feet
00:23:56.580 coming up and they were like big feet. I saw black eyes looking down at me. They didn't reflect light.
00:24:03.360 I felt a smaller feet stomping on me, not in a way that was like, they're trying to injure,
00:24:08.460 but like a kid playing, you know, like really bizarre. And that was it. Okay. That was it. And
00:24:13.540 so the, the girl who's doing this interview is like, all right, I got to talk to the dad.
00:24:19.260 And so she finds the dad. And at the time he no longer was doing any of this. And she was,
00:24:25.240 she was curious as to why. And he said that the last time he ever went on a Bigfoot expedition
00:24:31.200 was the last time because he realized that it was demonic. He finally understood. And what
00:24:37.400 happened was he went out with a group of other Bigfoot researchers or searchers, whatever.
00:24:43.320 And they're going and it's the Oregon wilderness. Okay. And they're sitting under the stars. It's
00:24:47.380 the same setup that he had with his son. But what's interesting is that during the trip,
00:24:52.200 he had hurt his arm really bad, like, you know, tore a ligament in his elbow, something genuinely
00:24:58.060 really painful. Would have been a trip ender, except that everyone else said, no, no,
00:25:03.700 let's still do it. Trust us. And so he goes into this, you know, they do all the setup correctly
00:25:09.280 and they tell him that when you see the Bigfoot or when you know that it's there,
00:25:14.880 think in your mind and ask it to heal your arm. The people with him tell him that?
00:25:19.660 people with these other experience, the, the, the other experienced researchers. And so he's like,
00:25:23.900 okay. And so he, he goes to, you know, they do the thing. He's starting to fall asleep. He knows
00:25:29.000 that they're there and he wakes back up and he's fully alert and he can see some of the shadows
00:25:34.100 walk. And he starts to think in his mind, please, if you can heal my arm. And he feels one of them
00:25:39.880 touch his arm and it's healed. It's done. And he wakes up the next morning and he can move it all
00:25:45.500 around. He can do everything that he wouldn't have been able to do the day before. He was
00:25:48.560 what are we doing to Gwitty? What are we doing to Gwitty? And so they start hiking off the trail.
00:25:53.460 He's kind of freaked out because he's like, that's a little intense. And he's asking one of
00:25:59.500 the other guys, like, how did you know? And the guy said, that's how they get you in. They tagged
00:26:06.100 you now and they know you now. And so you can summon them anytime you want. They've picked you.
00:26:11.960 And as he's saying this, as his friend is saying this, he looks up and he sees orbs following them
00:26:16.500 through the trees, which is interesting in itself.
00:26:18.700 Yeah, you see this.
00:26:19.640 And there's usually a connection with light.
00:26:21.440 And you pointed this out, light phenomena,
00:26:22.920 even UAP.
00:26:24.980 And so then this is where the story ends.
00:26:27.660 He-
00:26:27.980 Oh, I think I've heard this.
00:26:29.640 Yeah, it's-
00:26:30.360 From you.
00:26:30.940 Wild.
00:26:31.560 So then he gets back home.
00:26:32.860 At home.
00:26:33.500 Yes.
00:26:34.500 And he starts to get really concerned about this.
00:26:37.200 And he is not comfortable with the fact
00:26:39.080 that they've tagged him and he's chosen
00:26:41.200 and they're around him all the time.
00:26:42.860 Yeah, because thus far, it's always,
00:26:44.800 I go to them if I want, but now it's like, they've got a tracker device on me in my elbow,
00:26:51.700 you know, or whatever. You belong. And so he's trying to test it. And so in order to test it,
00:26:57.160 he sets a cot out by the shed in his backyard. And he just kind of says, I'm going to be here
00:27:04.140 tonight. Come find me. If you're really there, come find me. And then he gets a call on his phone
00:27:10.760 and his son, who's old now, is like,
00:27:12.520 hey, come see your grandkids play basketball
00:27:14.300 at the church tonight, you know.
00:27:15.440 And so whatever, he goes and he comes back, he's tired.
00:27:17.860 And he's like, I'll go out there tomorrow night.
00:27:19.840 I want to get some sleep.
00:27:21.720 And in the middle of the night, the shed starts shaking
00:27:24.980 and he hears the ladders that are inside falling over.
00:27:28.740 And it's this loud crashing sound.
00:27:30.560 And he looks out and he sees the silhouette of a shadow there.
00:27:33.740 And he hears in his mind, my name is Koo or what,
00:27:37.840 I can't remember the name.
00:27:38.440 Some Bigfoot sounding name.
00:27:39.460 Koss, I don't know.
00:27:40.060 and he hears my name is whatever.
00:27:42.580 And the guy says in his mind, flee, leave from me.
00:27:45.860 I never want to see you again in the name of Jesus Christ.
00:27:48.120 Something to that effect.
00:27:49.980 And he never sees them again.
00:27:51.500 And he never has any other intrusive thoughts
00:27:53.440 or anything like that.
00:27:54.900 But he knows that it was a Bigfoot.
00:27:57.920 He saw the silhouette.
00:27:58.900 He felt the presence.
00:27:59.740 He heard the voices.
00:28:00.520 He felt the touch.
00:28:01.300 His son saw the eyes.
00:28:02.580 His son saw the eyes.
00:28:03.720 His son also confirmed that all of this really did happen,
00:28:06.140 that his dad completely changed his attitude after that.
00:28:09.140 because it wasn't a fun little experiment.
00:28:12.000 No, no, no.
00:28:12.760 This is the thing that people need to understand.
00:28:15.080 Like one of the even criticisms of our show
00:28:17.420 before we've gotten is people saying like,
00:28:19.320 you need to be careful not to take undue interest.
00:28:21.420 Right.
00:28:21.780 And that's absolutely true.
00:28:23.100 Like we, that's one of our principles.
00:28:25.060 There's a distinction between
00:28:26.340 we want to be able to tell stories really well
00:28:30.320 because we think story is one of the most important weapons
00:28:33.120 that the Christian has in a story,
00:28:35.260 a universe that is a story told by God
00:28:37.860 to actually wield as a weapon of light
00:28:40.720 against the enemies of God. 0.98
00:28:45.180 But it is correct. 1.00
00:28:46.600 And people need to understand
00:28:47.540 that we don't tell these stories
00:28:48.780 so that you can say,
00:28:50.820 man, that's great.
00:28:52.160 We're going to take an interest
00:28:52.920 and we're going to go become a Bigfoot researcher.
00:28:54.940 We're going to start doing ghost hunts
00:28:56.560 and try to get EVPs on our recorders.
00:29:00.080 And we're going to try to go and make contact
00:29:02.700 with alien beings.
00:29:04.920 No, it's like you need to understand
00:29:06.600 that these things are real, they're very real,
00:29:10.180 they're spiritual, and they're deadly.
00:29:13.560 You should not, at any point, attempt to contact.
00:29:19.680 And people don't know.
00:29:20.860 People think, oh, I'm just engaged in this.
00:29:23.240 Or people think it's harmless.
00:29:24.540 Do you remember the story of the old woman?
00:29:27.080 Oh, yeah.
00:29:27.680 Oh, yeah, yeah, in the cabin.
00:29:28.980 Yes.
00:29:29.640 God bless.
00:29:31.100 Bigfoot's like, I love you.
00:29:32.780 Bigfoot's an angel.
00:29:33.620 I do not think Bigfoot, for the record.
00:29:35.700 I do not think this is where I think we should go if we have time maybe a retelling of of the old
00:29:42.220 woman's story at the very end of the episode but we need to hear from you Ben in regards to
00:29:46.840 the fairy oh yes okay so my favorite category because we've talked about animal hominid and
00:29:53.140 we've talked about kind of spirits you know demon type but that's not the only spirit category so
00:29:59.220 I'll say this I think that it yeah it could very well just be demonic right and that's it and that's
00:30:03.560 the whole explanation. But I also think that there is great reason to believe that there's
00:30:08.000 a category of an elemental spirit type being. And I think... From Scripture. Yes. I think that
00:30:14.180 from Scripture, the Nile, you know, the God of the Nile is a good example of that is an elemental
00:30:19.320 spirit by all means. And it's fallen, which I think is interesting. But every culture up to
00:30:26.000 about the Puritans in the 17th century, and actually including them, so it was after them
00:30:31.420 that this went away, thought that there was a category of being called a fairy. Yeah. That was
00:30:36.220 the colloquial term for it. The longevity. Now, yeah, the longevity, the long livers, which not
00:30:41.740 like organ. Yeah, not like a really life liver liver, but living for a long time. Yes, yes. And
00:30:47.200 we'll do an episode on fairies. In that episode, I'll go over the different conceptions of what
00:30:52.520 they were. But the basic category ranges anywhere from a neutral spiritual being, which I think is
00:30:59.840 flawed in a number of ways, up to a spiritual animal that has a range of abilities, but has
00:31:08.840 no reasonable soul, but can take different forms and things like that. That's the general conception
00:31:15.660 of a fairy. And I would propose with King James, the one who commissioned the King James Bible,
00:31:23.680 he didn't write it, but he commissioned it. In his pamphlet on demonology, he categorizes
00:31:29.620 fairies strictly as demonic. He didn't like the idea of neutrality, which I understand. 0.99
00:31:36.140 But I think that there could be some that are fallen and some that are not. And I think that
00:31:40.980 one explanation for Bigfoot is that it's a spiritual being without a reasonable soul
00:31:46.260 that is just doing its thing. That it's responding to threats.
00:31:52.060 And that is fallen.
00:31:53.580 Yes.
00:31:54.460 And so malevolent.
00:31:54.920 Because everything is cursed.
00:31:56.940 But with animal characteristics.
00:31:59.360 With animal instincts.
00:32:00.440 Is it possible, though, that there could have been,
00:32:02.920 melding a couple of these views here,
00:32:04.820 that there could have been a fairy
00:32:06.880 that tethered itself at a certain point
00:32:12.520 and really melded with a particular North American type of animal
00:32:17.680 that was a hominid, that was strictly an animal,
00:32:19.660 like what Brian was saying earlier,
00:32:21.080 And now that animal has even died off, but the fairy ripple, you know, reflection of that animal
00:32:28.700 still exists, except now it's more spiritual than it is physical. Although there are some
00:32:33.180 physical components and it's malevolent and not. Yeah. I think that that's really possible. I also
00:32:38.880 think that the fairy of category or the category of fairy could, could still include a reasonable
00:32:46.480 soul or something, or a reasonable intelligence. And so you could have overtly malicious,
00:32:53.420 like fallen, not just they are affected by the curse, but they have actively fallen.
00:32:58.400 They have sinned. They've rebelled. Yes. I think that that's also totally possible,
00:33:02.200 but we would conceive of that as just a demon. But older people would conceive of that as
00:33:10.200 something else, that it would be a fairy and because it was never an angel and it was never
00:33:16.500 the offspring of an angel. It was always something else. Right. It's not the spirit of the Nephilim,
00:33:21.560 the offspring of angels. It's not an angel itself, but maybe when God created the world before things
00:33:25.960 fell, before sin entered the world, that like there really were river spirits. Are you a beef
00:33:32.440 jerky enthusiast, well then, stop it. Seriously, stop it. Because biltong is superior to beef
00:33:40.280 jerky in every single way. It's a traditional South African meat snack, but it's free from all
00:33:46.360 the preservatives, the sugar, and the soy. It's like the Wagyu of jerky. Now, here's the exciting
00:33:52.500 news from Farmer Bill's Provisions. Farmer Bill's is introducing their brand new product line for
00:33:58.540 your enjoyment. We've got right here, the traditional beef slab. You've also got, if you

00:36:03.420 Everyone needs soap, so wash yourself in the word.
00:36:09.540 That's another possibility is that when we think about angels, the spiritual class of beings that
00:36:16.520 is the angelic world that there are, we know there are ones that are thrown in heaven. And
00:36:21.720 we've talked about this in our angel episode. I don't know which order it's going to come out,
00:36:25.140 but that's one of them. We know there are angels or angelic beings that are very much focused
00:36:29.640 heavenward. And we, ones that are more concerned earthward in terms of their assignment by God.
00:36:36.040 Right. So watchers, messengers, there's lots of categories of angels and we don't know all of
00:36:41.060 them. I think it's safe to say. So they're, they're very well could be a category of spiritual being
00:36:46.060 that it's almost impossible for us
00:36:48.920 to really make the distinction
00:36:50.180 between this kind of fairy type.
00:36:53.620 Right, and what if there is an angelic being,
00:36:57.680 but its primary domain from inception was earthly?
00:37:02.060 Was just earthly?
00:37:02.640 That's my view.
00:37:04.800 Angels are here in heaven,
00:37:06.480 different classifications, types of angels,
00:37:09.080 but that God actually created some,
00:37:11.580 not just as messengers with momentary visitations,
00:37:15.700 but some would actually like a guardian of a forest.
00:37:18.680 Yeah, that's their job.
00:37:19.640 They just like a guardian of a river
00:37:21.820 or a guardian of a mountain.
00:37:23.340 And to the modern mind, you're like, that's crazy.
00:37:25.560 That's the same. 0.99
00:37:26.080 That sounds silly.
00:37:26.860 But to Ben's point,
00:37:28.020 this is how literally everybody thought.
00:37:31.420 Right, and the song says like,
00:37:32.880 God has compassion on all he has made.
00:37:34.560 God loves flowers and he loves bees and he loves birds.
00:37:37.560 Why wouldn't he say that?
00:37:38.140 Like a sparrow does not fall without him noticing.
00:37:40.820 And the implication there is he notices and he cares
00:37:43.360 and he simply cares exponentially more for you and I,
00:37:48.120 but it's not that he doesn't care.
00:37:49.960 God likely, I don't know if I can make this argument.
00:37:52.740 I think I probably could.
00:37:54.160 God cares more for sparrows
00:37:55.620 than we care for our fellow man oftentimes.
00:37:59.360 Well, God's care is always perfect.
00:38:00.820 It's perfect care.
00:38:02.120 And it's not because he idolizes sparrows.
00:38:04.700 He cares about them in their proper order.
00:38:06.240 But he cares about them in their proper order.
00:38:07.560 He cares more about people.
00:38:08.880 And we actually don't care about anything.
00:38:10.540 But what I'm saying is not that God cares for sparrows.
00:38:12.480 We have disordered affections.
00:38:13.540 I'm not saying God cares for sparrows
00:38:14.800 more than God cares for people,
00:38:16.320 but then God cares for sparrows more than we care.
00:38:18.980 Yeah, right.
00:38:19.680 And so anyways, but the point is like,
00:38:21.140 so that God would create a heavenly host of angels
00:38:24.060 to be in heaven,
00:38:26.420 but that he would, if he loves the world,
00:38:28.720 it is good, it is good.
00:38:29.860 All these things that he's made
00:38:30.700 to appoint some as their natural habit,
00:38:33.060 that nature spirits, nature angels,
00:38:36.120 forest ones, mountain ones,
00:38:37.660 you know, this and that and the other water.
00:38:39.400 Like, it's not a crazy idea.
00:38:40.900 No.
00:38:41.120 Well, I,
00:38:42.480 I don't want to like interrupt,
00:38:44.500 but I want,
00:38:45.260 I'm tempted to leave it there.
00:38:46.860 Yeah, I don't want to. 1.00
00:38:47.820 Because we're going to talk more about fairies. 1.00
00:38:49.120 Because there's so much that can be said.
00:38:49.580 Oh, we're doing a whole thing on fairies.
00:38:50.720 Yeah, we're going to talk about fairies. 1.00
00:38:52.080 Oh, snap. 1.00
00:38:52.880 Yeah, and so I-
00:38:53.780 Let's leave it.
00:38:54.420 There's a lot more that can be said,
00:38:56.140 but if I'm not careful,
00:38:57.320 I'm going to lose so much control.
00:38:58.340 In favor-
00:38:58.640 I'm just going to say it.
00:38:59.580 In favor of Bigfoot as more demonic,
00:39:01.840 I think you have multiple lines of evidence
00:39:04.040 putting the fairy thing aside.
00:39:06.040 I think you have,
00:39:07.280 the story you just told is a great example.
00:39:09.740 We have their association with other things
00:39:12.320 that I think are clearly overtly demonic,
00:39:14.300 like the UAP and alien phenomena.
00:39:16.820 Right.
00:39:17.120 To your point in the cold open,
00:39:18.420 one of the popular theories is that Bigfoot
00:39:20.460 is either an interdimensional being
00:39:22.840 or an alien from outer space,
00:39:25.000 which are melding more and more.
00:39:25.960 Or like an alien slave.
00:39:27.920 Yeah.
00:39:28.560 But those ideas are melding even more and more
00:39:30.580 where one of the very popularizing conceptions
00:39:33.540 of alien phenomena
00:39:34.400 is not that they are extraterrestrials,
00:39:36.400 but ultra terrestrials,
00:39:38.060 that they're interdimensional beings,
00:39:39.660 not purely physical beings from another planet or galaxy,
00:39:44.000 but a spiritual or an ultra dimensional being
00:39:47.080 that is able to travel via dimensional travel,
00:39:52.320 portals, things like this.
00:39:53.900 And the association you see,
00:39:55.640 we get into it in our second Bigfoot episode, I think.
00:39:58.260 Yes.
00:39:58.800 Where you can go listen to the whole story about the,
00:40:01.520 there are sightings where there is a UFO
00:40:03.420 and then there is a Bigfoot.
00:40:05.900 And you see a lot of the things that go with aliens
00:40:09.600 that are overtly demonic,
00:40:11.300 things like a feeling of dread,
00:40:13.360 of existential dread in their presence.
00:40:15.620 Like crazy, yeah.
00:40:16.620 Smells that are demonic smells
00:40:18.360 that are associated with witchcraft,
00:40:19.940 necromancy, Bigfoot sightings,
00:40:21.660 and some aliens. 0.63
00:40:22.860 Sulfuric smells.
00:40:23.500 They cross over with satanic ritual abuse stories as well.
00:40:27.460 So there's this nexus of phenomena
00:40:29.640 that has similar forensic fingerprint, you could say,
00:40:33.800 that it to me is the fingerprint of demons.
00:40:36.000 And it crosses over heavily with Bigfoots.
00:40:39.600 to where I think it's probably likely
00:40:42.360 that it's demonic in its origin,
00:40:45.540 that at least,
00:40:47.200 because again,
00:40:47.980 demons can show you what you want.
00:40:50.100 Right.
00:40:50.520 They can show you the face
00:40:51.700 that you're expecting superstitiously as well.
00:40:54.360 So even if part of it is just Bigfoot,
00:40:57.260 demon Bigfoot type of stuff,
00:40:59.240 I think there's good reason. 1.00
00:41:00.420 So all that being said,
00:41:02.580 it sounds like,
00:41:03.440 I think what I'm probably most sold on
00:41:05.220 is the fairy explanation.
00:41:07.540 Yeah.
00:41:07.680 So we need to go there
00:41:08.540 and we're going to record on it.
00:41:09.600 uh, what I like the most is the hollow earth. And so I feel like what we need to do is we need to
00:41:17.580 land the plane and do a whole episode on fairies and see if by the grace of God, we can somehow 0.91
00:41:22.560 just weld together fairies, but also a hollow earth conception. But is there a final word 0.92
00:41:27.860 from you Ben on this, or maybe even leaving the listener with a story? Yeah. I'd love to tell the
00:41:32.980 story of the old woman from Kansas. I actually think it's a, it's an amazing story. So I,
00:41:39.380 I don't know the dates.
00:41:40.840 I don't know the names because it was all anonymous.
00:41:43.500 So take that for what you will.
00:41:44.920 But there was a woman who lived in Kansas City
00:41:47.220 and she was married to her husband for many years.
00:41:49.520 She was an older woman.
00:41:51.060 And she really loved the outdoors.
00:41:52.720 Her husband did not.
00:41:54.060 So long before in their marriage,
00:41:55.660 they had settled on a deal
00:41:56.740 where every summer he would drive her out
00:42:00.180 to their cabin in the woods
00:42:01.720 and he would leave her there for a month.
00:42:04.620 And he would just go back to Kansas City.
00:42:06.500 It's the strangest scenario.
00:42:08.700 that I've ever heard for a marriage, but whatever.
00:42:11.460 Yeah, it's not good.
00:42:12.200 Yeah, it's not good, not good fruit.
00:42:14.840 But so she goes out there, she's looking forward to it.
00:42:17.540 She's settling into the cabin again.
00:42:19.240 She's, you know, dusting everything
00:42:20.560 because it's been so long, getting used to the smells.
00:42:23.520 And she decides to go sit on her front porch
00:42:25.600 and read a book.
00:42:27.260 And as she's reading,
00:42:29.080 the book starts to kind of shake in her hands
00:42:31.060 and she can't quite hold onto it.
00:42:33.140 And so she starts clenching a little bit
00:42:34.360 and it stops.
00:42:35.400 She's reading again.
00:42:36.200 and suddenly the book just lifts up out of her hands
00:42:38.940 and is floating in front of her.
00:42:40.980 And then it throws itself across the porch
00:42:43.540 and slams into the wall.
00:42:45.480 She's freaked out naturally.
00:42:47.800 And in her panic, she's looking all around
00:42:49.660 and she looks out in front of her
00:42:51.380 and sees that kind of it's far enough away
00:42:54.560 to be down behind this grassy knoll.
00:42:58.000 She can see the silhouette of a man's chest and head,
00:43:02.260 or at least she thinks it's a man,
00:43:03.760 but she knows that it would be an incredibly large man
00:43:07.380 and it's completely dark. 0.97
00:43:09.220 Not like a skin color, just like it's shadowy.
00:43:13.360 She can't tell what actually she's looking at 0.97
00:43:16.500 but she starts to hear in her mind
00:43:19.260 words like hello from a voice that's not her own
00:43:23.360 as if she's hearing it outside
00:43:25.240 but it's just in her head.
00:43:27.140 Hello, I'm your protector.
00:43:29.220 I'm here to help you.
00:43:30.840 I was playing a trick.
00:43:31.940 Very like juvenile sentences, almost like one of those My First Reader books where it's just
00:43:37.400 three-word sentences over and over, and they seem redundant and unhelpful. But
00:43:41.340 she then starts to try and communicate back, but she can't really.
00:43:46.260 Stuff like this keeps happening day after day. She sees the same figure. She realizes that
00:43:51.360 it is really hairy, and she starts to conceive of it in her mind as a Bigfoot, like she's heard
00:43:56.780 about. But she never knew that they could communicate just telepathically. And so she
00:44:01.620 starts to actually be able to communicate herself with this Bigfoot. And she's constantly,
00:44:07.540 and this is important, inviting the Bigfoot up to be with her. She's concerned that it's going
00:44:13.620 to be cold. She's concerned that it's dangerous out there. This is the sin of empathy. Yeah,
00:44:18.600 it is dangerous. But the Bigfoot, to his credit. Where's this husband? I know. Yeah. The Bigfoot
00:44:26.500 But never obliges, never comes up and says,
00:44:29.460 I am meant to watch you from a distance.
00:44:31.360 That's what I'm supposed to do.
00:44:32.780 So one night, she wakes up in the middle of the night.
00:44:35.680 Actually, no, she didn't wake up.
00:44:37.000 She was smoking a cigarette on the back porch.
00:44:39.340 And she sees two men, kind of shadowy figures behind the shed.
00:44:46.140 And she starts to freak out because clearly they don't want to be seen.
00:44:50.940 She notices the first one.
00:44:52.540 And then that first one is yanked back behind the shed by someone else.
00:44:56.020 so she starts freaking out she goes inside locks all the doors puts out her cigarette
00:45:00.200 turns off the lights and goes and gets the 22 long rifle that's under the floorboard in the
00:45:04.680 bedroom and she thinks i'm going to have to kill somebody or they're going to kill me right so she
00:45:10.520 goes and hides behind the chair that's right next to the front door of the cabin and it's backlit
00:45:16.020 by a full moon and she can see the silhouette of two men with top hats and cigarettes walking up
00:45:21.120 on the porch and they start to jostle the door handle and they're jostling and then nothing's
00:45:25.520 happening. And so they start trying to like beat on the door a little bit and fiddle with the lock.
00:45:30.540 Next thing she knows, they are screaming, deathly screams of pain and agony, and they are sprinting
00:45:38.300 away from the house. And she doesn't get up until they're completely good. She can't even hear them
00:45:43.200 screaming anymore and goes outside and sees her friend now, the Bigfoot, walking back into the
00:45:49.940 woods. And he sends her a message that says, you're welcome. God bless you. Yeah. He says,
00:45:55.740 God bless you. And that's when Brian said, maybe Bigfoot's an angel. Yeah. And then, and then we
00:46:00.340 said on social media now, everyone is going to say, Brian thinks Bigfoot is an angel, which
00:46:05.120 everyone now does, which I do not believe for the record. But the story ends with a pretty alarming
00:46:11.640 situation. So one day her neighbor down the road is, is running up to her house frantically.
00:46:18.360 And she says, you got to leave.
00:46:20.140 You got to call your husband.
00:46:21.040 You got to go back to Kansas City. 0.98
00:46:22.300 And the old woman's like, what are you talking about? 1.00
00:46:24.040 Why?
00:46:24.800 And she said, did you not see the lights last night? 0.90
00:46:28.040 The old woman says, no, she was asleep.
00:46:30.060 And from her neighbor, she learns that the night before,
00:46:32.620 there had been a huge light show over the woods
00:46:34.720 that was around the property.
00:46:36.920 UAPs, red, blue, green, white,
00:46:39.320 all of these lights that were dashing about,
00:46:41.960 they were making insane amounts of noise.
00:46:43.800 They were making the trees almost fall over
00:46:45.820 with the wind they were producing.
00:46:47.180 but they had no sound or they had no like helicopter sound.
00:46:50.340 Right.
00:46:50.800 And it wasn't safety lights from a plane.
00:46:52.900 It was a UAP, it was a UFO.
00:46:55.780 And the husband of this neighbor starts thinking,
00:46:58.620 well, I gotta go get to the bottom of this
00:46:59.820 because one of them starts to descend into the woods.
00:47:02.600 And so he goes out with his gun and his flashlight
00:47:04.700 and then he comes running back with pale face
00:47:08.660 and expressionless look in his eyes.
00:47:10.980 And his wife asks, are you okay?
00:47:13.100 What's going on?
00:47:13.780 and he just says, we can never come back here again.
00:47:17.680 And he goes inside and the next morning,
00:47:19.960 she goes and tells the old woman and they leave.
00:47:23.560 And right before the old woman calls her husband,
00:47:26.080 the Bigfoot peeks his head out from the woods
00:47:28.480 and says, that was me.
00:47:32.040 And the old woman doesn't know what to make of it. 0.87
00:47:35.300 What do you make? 1.00
00:47:36.660 I don't know.
00:47:37.420 God bless.
00:47:38.140 Apart from that, it's nothing good.
00:47:41.720 Yeah.
00:47:42.820 Here's the thing.
00:47:43.540 as we said all these eyewitness encounters some of them are completely made up people make stuff
00:47:49.460 yeah for sure you don't know yeah people lie people people don't only lie people lie but
00:47:53.360 people don't only lie so you don't you know there's always the element theory like wow that
00:47:57.060 was a good that was too good of a story right like this is too many elements that are just
00:48:01.540 that are coming together but this is why i also like the idea of fallen spiritual entities whether
00:48:08.080 it's a demon or a fairy type playing different roles right and they actually are bound in some
00:48:13.660 degree by a role that they have to play and so a demon and a uap are always associated
00:48:19.300 because they're on the same team but they're not the same players i like that this is a ben garrett
00:48:24.900 theory yeah it is all right well tune in to uh future episodes we're going to be talking about
00:48:31.380 fairies so we kind of you know began to scratch the surface of that but we're going to do an
