The NXR Podcast - THE FRIDAY SPECIAL - Mythological Giants ｜ Hercules Was A Nephilim! with Haunted Cosmos

00:00:00.000 Did giants once roam the earth?

00:00:03.840 If you believe the biblical record, the answer is yes.

00:00:09.960 In our previous episode, we discussed the origins and history of giants in the biblical data.

00:00:16.500 But questions remain.

00:00:18.500 Did these giants remain locked in the pages of the Old Testament?

00:00:21.720 Or might we find them elsewhere?

00:00:23.820 Did giants build megalithic structures at Tiwanaka?

00:00:27.740 Did giants roam the plains and woodlands of Native American soil?

00:00:32.140 While we're at it, did modern American Special Forces troopers

00:00:35.400 fight a literal giant in the Middle East in recent history?

00:00:39.340 Join us now as we leave the pages of Scripture

00:00:41.400 and investigate stories of giants from myth and legend

00:00:44.500 across many continents and times,

00:00:46.520 and even ask one of the most important questions you might on this subject.

00:00:51.160 Are there still giants today?

00:00:55.240 All right, welcome. Here we go.

00:00:56.600 this is giants part two. If you haven't already watched the first episode, we talked about the

00:01:00.400 origins of the giants. There's not just some make-believe thing. If you are a Bible-believing

00:01:04.440 Christian, then giants is on the menu. Pretty much a non-negotiable. Yeah, that's right. You 1.00

00:01:10.280 can debate a little bit about maybe, you know, particular sizes and timelines and these kinds

00:01:15.380 of things, but giants are a biblical fact. But because they're a biblical fact, and if you're

00:01:21.460 holding to the biblical Christian worldview,

00:01:25.860 then what is there to say that some of these other legends

00:01:30.300 and myths around the world that talk about giants,

00:01:32.440 how do we know that they're not real?

00:01:33.900 How do we know that there's not at least some truth,

00:01:36.320 if not in some cases, maybe entirely true?

00:01:38.920 And what's the reasoning for there not being giants today?

00:01:42.980 That's what we're talking about.

00:01:44.460 What if there is?

00:01:45.440 What if there is?

00:01:45.920 That's the rule.

00:01:46.600 And where would they be?

00:01:48.280 Hollow Earth.

00:01:49.640 In the Hollow Earth.

00:01:50.720 Yes.

00:01:50.980 but that's so moving on that's what we think it's actually gonna be inside out earth have

00:01:55.660 you all heard the inside out earth theory obviously we're not talking about this but

00:01:58.640 instead we're walking around the inside or donut earth skin that we're actually on the inside right

00:02:03.660 oh yeah that's the uh inside out earth very credible unbelievable no joel to your point i

00:02:10.000 mean so when we leave the pages of scripture to me one of the most compelling things to find

00:02:15.820 are myths and legends that seem to line up quite nicely, actually, with scripture. And they show

00:02:22.300 us that they were actually taking from the same story and they actually had similar origins. And

00:02:27.840 then they went to different places. So one of my favorite examples when this type of topic comes

00:02:32.620 up is Nimrod. And, you know, the supposed builder of the Tower of Babel, because we know that he was

00:02:37.800 the one that did find the city of Babylon. And how in most other ancient cultures in the near

00:02:44.440 in Middle East, there is some sort of Nimrod figure that features prominently and who is also

00:02:50.640 a giant. Hercules is an example. Zoroastor is another example of this. Gilgamesh? Gilgamesh

00:02:57.640 was Nimrod. Ben has said many times in my presence, Gilgamesh was Nimrod confirmed.

00:03:05.740 Yes. Now the reason that I think that- I've heard Ben say that he is Gilgamesh.

00:03:09.220 Gilgamesh. I've heard that question. Yes. His name was Nimrod Gilgamesh. No. So when you hear

00:03:18.200 about the data of Gilgamesh, he was the, he was the king of, it was Samaria at the time, or some

00:03:25.320 Mesopotamian city, but it lines up with one of the cities that's listed as the one that Nimrod

00:03:30.140 found. I believe it's Put, because he finds Put, I think. But anyway, there is a Christian

00:03:37.840 missionary who the name escapes me. Was it David Livingston? Yeah, David Livingston. Well-known

00:03:42.320 faithful brother in Christ, David Livingston, who put forward this theory that when you actually

00:03:47.800 compare the myths of the Mesopotamians to the pages of scripture with an understanding of what

00:03:54.400 Nimrod as a character actually is, a mighty hunter of men before the Lord, a mighty man, a giant,

00:04:00.960 then you actually walk away with the conclusion that the Gilgamesh character was most likely

00:04:05.860 based on Nimrod. And then you have to say, well, Nimrod was actually the one that lived in the city

00:04:11.640 that wrote the Gilgamesh epics. So what if he did go by a different name to them? And what if

00:04:18.000 actually some of their epics that we just take as, you know, the first works of fiction in human

00:04:22.780 history as actually not so fiction, where some of them are based in very real truth.

00:04:30.740 Especially following the rules of history and historiography.

00:04:33.920 Yeah.

00:04:34.140 from antiquity, which were not the same as today.

00:04:38.320 No, which are not the same as today.

00:04:38.900 They'd be like, I'm now going to record for you

00:04:40.820 this 45-minute speech of this emperor verbatim.

00:04:44.340 This is exactly what he said.

00:04:46.680 And they just tell you.

00:04:48.840 We know today that because of the geography,

00:04:50.660 the location, that they could have

00:04:52.000 no more than 20,000 foot soldiers.

00:04:54.160 And Herodotus is like, they had a million.

00:04:56.700 I don't think you're hearing me.

00:04:57.980 It was a million people.

00:04:59.260 But no, like the idea of hero worship

00:05:01.620 was not foreign to the ancient mind. 0.62

00:05:03.720 And so Christians would call it like a hagiography, a biography of a saint that praises them

00:05:10.700 for all of the good and just doesn't mention the bad.

00:05:14.340 This is the book of Chronicles with King David.

00:05:16.920 And so that could be what the ancient Mesopotamians were doing to the character of Gilgamesh.

00:05:21.840 And they were actually showing him to be this great champion king of the world.

00:05:26.560 And in some sense, he really was.

00:05:28.040 I mean, he built Babel and Babylon all through, even today, remains the archetypal villainous 0.96

00:05:35.540 city that is at war with the heavenly Zion. But really my point in saying all that is that we 0.68

00:05:41.900 clearly see that there is some ground for a level of belief in giant myths that are outside of

00:05:48.400 scripture that's not unwarranted and it's actually not reckless at all. It can be very fruitful.

00:05:54.500 Yep.

00:05:55.620 And speaking of Nimrod,

00:05:57.920 it's your understanding that he was a really good guy, right?

00:06:02.000 Oh yeah, he was a great guy.

00:06:03.380 Tell us about, what does it mean that he was a hunter before God?

00:06:07.360 Yeah, so the word there,

00:06:09.520 and I can't actually remember, the Hebrew escapes me,

00:06:12.120 but I know that there's been a lot of work done

00:06:15.000 to figure out what it means when it says

00:06:17.200 that he was a mighty hunter before the Lord.

00:06:19.260 Because frankly, that sounds like a pretty awesome compliment.

00:06:21.140 Yeah, like, oh, he was a good hunter.

00:06:22.580 He brought home the belt.

00:06:24.080 the bacon. Cool. You're like, I am the guy who God's like, that guy's great at hunting. Every

00:06:28.760 Southern boy is like naming my firstborn son, Nimrod. But the problem is that the actual

00:06:34.980 implication of the name is that he was a mighty hunter of men. He was a tyrannical opponent of

00:06:41.020 Yahweh because he hastened to shed blood. And God considers that an abomination as we know from the 0.77

00:06:46.840 book of Proverbs. And so actually Nimrod was an enemy of God, which makes sense when you realize

00:06:52.720 that he founded Babylon. Because it seems to take a big turn when in Genesis 10, it's talking about 0.84

00:06:59.740 Nimrod, who is a mighty hunter before the Lord. And then in Genesis 11, it's talking about the

00:07:04.580 city that he founded, Babel, building a tower to try to usurp God's authority over earth and

00:07:10.040 thinking, well, wait, is that the same guy that's involved? But no, what's important to realize is

00:07:17.000 that Genesis 10 is setting Nimrod up

00:07:19.120 as an archetypal, literal, historical,

00:07:21.900 but also archetypal enemy of God, an enemy of God.

00:07:26.040 And what was not the,

00:07:28.060 when you look at giant mythology and lore

00:07:30.820 across time and locations,

00:07:32.940 one of the corresponding features you find with it

00:07:36.420 is often the consumption of people.

00:07:38.960 Yeah, they actually, like you can think,

00:07:40.560 when you think mighty hunter before the Lord,

00:07:43.120 I'm not saying necessarily that definitively

00:07:45.400 this implication is there,

00:07:47.000 But when you trace out giant mythology,

00:07:49.800 I mean, just look at Odysseus.

00:07:52.440 Yeah.

00:07:52.820 They were people eaters.

00:07:54.460 Right.

00:07:54.700 He's a hunter of men before the Lord.

00:07:57.220 And he's not just hunting men for vengeance, 0.99

00:07:59.560 like killing them. 1.00

00:08:00.180 He's hunting them for food. 1.00

00:08:01.460 Right.

00:08:02.020 But most historians would agree,

00:08:04.200 even if you kick the Gilgamesh idea out,

00:08:07.180 which I understand.

00:08:08.820 Sure.

00:08:08.980 But most historians would agree

00:08:10.660 that the other Sumerian character known as Zoroaster

00:08:14.040 was absolutely Nimrod. There's no question. And they have their reasons for believing this,

00:08:21.300 but the level of confidence is surprising given the subject matter that they're actually saying,

00:08:26.760 no, this confirms that this biblical account is real, that there was this man named Nimrod who

00:08:31.200 founded these cities, but they just called him Zeroster. And what's fascinating is that he had

00:08:35.860 to go through something like 11 or 12 labors on behalf of the gods. And these included,

00:08:43.200 you know, subduing a mighty ram, killing a dragon, hurting the sheep, you know, doing all these

00:08:50.900 things. And does that remind you? Reminds us of another ancient mythological figure. Hercules.

00:08:56.220 Hercules, who had to do the 12 labors. And so then they're saying, well, maybe the Greeks also had

00:09:01.000 some conception of this character. And the point is maybe before the dispersion at the Tower of

00:09:06.640 Babel, you had this guy, Nimrod, and he had to do these for whatever reason, maybe his fallen

00:09:12.360 watcher fathers were making him do these things to appease them or so that he could get the power

00:09:18.440 to build the Tower of Babel or something. Or he even boastfully claimed to have done these tasks.

00:09:24.680 And then the dispersion occurs. And now you have the seeds of what we now know as myth,

00:09:30.540 but what is actually kernels of real historical truth. And so then the question becomes, well,

00:09:36.780 who all went in the dispersion? Well, Nimrod would have been one of them, right? But who else

00:09:42.320 who else was among them? Other giants, other sort of demigod giant type people. And so now you have

00:09:49.380 these different literal giants. The Bible discusses some of them because they're directly involved in

00:09:55.160 the history of salvation of God's people. But the Bible does not have to mention every giant by name

00:10:00.560 for them to have been real. And at the dispersion of Babel, you have people going to the ends of

00:10:05.360 the earth to fill the world as God told them to. And that would include a race of giants in probably 0.96

00:10:11.320 every continent in North America.

00:10:13.880 And so it's not surprising that you have

00:10:15.380 every single ancient culture in every continent

00:10:17.460 with a giant. Even North American

00:10:19.320 giants are blonde haired and

00:10:20.900 red haired.

00:10:22.860 Don't they have a blonde haired? 1.00

00:10:25.180 Yeah. And the river. What's his name? 0.60

00:10:27.120 Yellow corn. The sun king.

00:10:28.920 Yeah. The sun king.

00:10:30.560 And then also whatever the guy that tried to be

00:10:33.000 Black Hawk or Black Hawk Down.

00:10:34.600 Yeah. Black Hawk Down sounds right. 0.94

00:10:37.540 I think it was either We Were Soldiers

00:10:39.200 or Black Hawk Down.

00:10:40.040 It was the Patriot.

00:10:41.880 Oh, it was the Patriot with Mel Gibson.

00:10:43.440 Okay, now I'm remembering.

00:10:44.720 Yeah, yeah.

00:10:45.560 Well, one thing that's fascinating,

00:10:47.220 okay, so this is, it's on topic,

00:10:50.340 but it's a little bit of a sidetrack,

00:10:52.100 but how do you get to North America?

00:10:54.360 Yeah, that's a good question.

00:10:55.200 I've got some thoughts,

00:10:56.060 but if you guys have a thought, go for it.

00:10:57.680 I do, yeah.

00:10:58.160 I'm excited to hear those.

00:10:58.480 Because the traditional story,

00:11:00.320 the modern kind of materialist,

00:11:02.000 normal historical story

00:11:03.760 is that they came from Siberian land bridge

00:11:06.040 from the Asian peoples,

00:11:08.280 came down and populated North America, 0.99

00:11:10.780 you know, migrated on down and pop,

00:11:12.300 at least from the northerly direction.

00:11:14.660 But I think that we have evidence.

00:11:17.860 And also I believe this

00:11:19.520 because I think it's more interesting

00:11:20.900 that there were seafaring peoples

00:11:23.240 who made it to North America.

00:11:25.820 When you say stealing yours,

00:11:27.000 this was clearly an idea I had long before

00:11:29.080 when Ben was just a glimmer in his father's eye.

00:11:33.680 I do believe that we had seafaring people

00:11:36.360 when I was three years old.

00:11:37.580 that they were seafaring peoples that made it to North America.

00:11:40.420 And especially again, going back to our last episode,

00:11:43.700 when you connect the things that really genuinely are connected from scripture,

00:11:47.700 which is the watchers, the Nephilim,

00:11:51.120 and you start to look at things like secret knowledge and higher abilities

00:11:54.540 and technological innovation, astronomy, which is related to navigation,

00:11:59.860 you start to see how you could end up with people's circumnavigate,

00:12:05.660 you know, going all the way across the Atlantic ocean or going all the way across the oceans,

00:12:09.120 making it to North America. And what's funny is, you know, year after year, we keep pushing back

00:12:14.720 the, the, the, the known history of North America before it was like, well, this person

00:12:20.660 was here first. And it was like, you know what, maybe it was Leif Erikson. And then like,

00:12:23.720 you know what I should make was this guy. And no, maybe Solomon was there with you, you know,

00:12:27.240 before, you know, fear, exactly. So that's kind of how I, I, I tend to think that there was

00:12:34.400 seafaring and that there was advanced technology you see this even with the um uh the netflix

00:12:41.040 series that's really popular right now with um what's his name graham hancock yeah and um the

00:12:46.880 common thread of the great peoples coming from the sea and giving knowledge to the to the natives

00:12:53.060 he went here he went there yeah a demigod type figure it seems like that like that could have

00:12:58.920 been nimrod too oh yeah or or similar figures yeah right absolutely i and i think a the least

00:13:05.820 ad hoc explanation to me for those kinds of stories and the ubiquity of them across cultures

00:13:10.940 that never had contact to our knowledge is that you really did have these kind of high knowledge

00:13:17.560 demigod type at least in appearance to the natives with their superior technology stature 0.80

00:13:23.020 showing up, giving secret 0.97

00:13:25.800 knowledge, demanding worship, establishing

00:13:27.580 cults. Secret knowledge like Caesarean section.

00:13:29.420 Yeah. Establishing cults of

00:13:31.660 human sacrifice and the devouring

00:13:33.860 of people. Always. We see this

00:13:35.680 in the ancient Near East

00:13:37.540 and we see it in far

00:13:39.780 flowing places of the world and

00:13:41.740 the through lines to me are compelling enough that

00:13:43.840 that's my

00:13:45.780 general take. Yeah, so I think so too. I think

00:13:47.680 seafaring, but making

00:13:49.680 the seafaring a little bit less challenging,

00:13:51.580 still quite a feat. Are you a beef jerky enthusiast? Well, then stop it. Seriously,

00:13:57.240 stop it. Because biltong is superior to beef jerky in every single way. It's a traditional

00:14:04.340 South African meat snack, but it's free from all the preservatives, the sugar, and the soy. It's

00:14:10.660 like the Wagyu of jerky. Now, here's the exciting news from Farmer Bill's Provisions. Farmer Bill's

00:14:16.900 is introducing their brand new product line

00:14:19.360 for your enjoyment.

00:14:20.720 We've got right here, the traditional beef slab.

00:14:24.260 You've also got, if you want a smaller portion,

00:14:27.000 you've got the slices.

00:14:28.020 It's just as much meat,

00:14:29.400 but you're able to eat it in increments.

00:14:31.180 This is for yourself as an individual,

00:14:32.760 or maybe for you and your family, your kids.

00:14:35.520 Then you've got the meat sticks.

00:14:37.100 This is what, if you're a working man,

00:14:38.860 you want a snack to keep in your pocket to eat,

00:14:41.120 you know, before lunch or something like that,

00:14:43.100 grab one of their beef sticks and take it on the go.

00:16:39.200 It's an underwater city that they found,

00:16:42.160 not Atlantis,

00:16:42.920 but they found an underwater city.

00:16:44.560 They call it like the Atlantis of Japan.

00:16:46.480 It's off, it's on a continental shelf.

00:16:48.000 Yeah, Yonaguni, Yonaguni.

00:16:48.840 Boom.

00:16:49.500 We talked about this all the way back

00:16:51.300 in our first episode, didn't we?

00:16:52.440 Of the High Strangeness on the High Seas.

00:16:54.040 There you go.

00:16:54.520 Check out Haunted Cosmos,

00:16:55.720 first episode, High Strangeness.

00:16:57.700 On the High Seas.

00:16:58.320 On the High Seas, yep.

00:16:59.780 So with that,

00:17:01.520 Japan's not the only place like this.

00:17:05.080 When we think of the ocean,

00:17:06.180 We think of it, you know, being, you know, this many miles wide and all this, and that's true.

00:17:10.980 But then a lot of times we just imagine that the ocean is so, so deep.

00:17:15.060 Yeah.

00:17:15.780 And, you know, respectively compared to us, I mean, it's not like you're not going to be able to wade through, you know, up to your ankles.

00:17:21.920 So, I mean, it's for all intents and purposes, it's pretty deep.

00:17:24.400 But there are miles, in some cases, even 50 miles or 150 miles off the coast of continental shelf before it begins to drop off.

00:17:37.200 And that for, in terms of what you can visibly see above the waterline, we're 150 miles out to sea.

00:17:44.940 But as far as down below,

00:17:47.160 this whole 150 miles from the coast

00:17:49.480 to where this vessel currently rests,

00:17:52.280 it's an average depth of 50, 60 feet.

00:17:56.180 Yeah.

00:17:56.800 Ice age following the flood.

00:17:58.720 Yes.

00:17:59.220 And so with thinking of the flood

00:18:01.060 and these kinds of things,

00:18:01.840 and then also thinking about,

00:18:02.980 but thinking about not being a loser

00:18:07.420 and trusting in the Lord 0.93

00:18:09.960 and not being a radical raging leftist

00:18:13.580 who wants everyone to die.

00:18:15.160 You mean the good things?

00:18:16.260 But yeah, so thinking about these things,

00:18:18.780 how do we know?

00:18:20.240 How do we know that the world is not,

00:18:22.400 we have seasons, God created the world in this way.

00:18:25.320 We have days, right?

00:18:26.600 So we have day and night.

00:18:27.900 We have months, we have seasons, spring,

00:18:32.280 and there's planting and harvest, spring and fall and winter.

00:18:35.780 But the idea that there might be 500 year cycles

00:18:40.200 or 1500 year cycles of climate,

00:18:43.400 Exactly, of swelling up to certain temperatures, then coming back down.

00:18:47.220 Well, in an ice age, it's going to be rough to survive in many ways.

00:18:51.880 But one benefit is during an ice age, it's not just that, oh, you'd have an ice bridge across.

00:18:57.060 That's not my point.

00:18:57.940 There may be some of that.

00:18:58.980 But with the polar caps being frozen over, all the water on the surface and the oceans are going to freeze up, collect up.

00:19:10.200 and so you're going to have an just across the average all the way around the globe you're going

00:19:15.480 to have a lower water level and and we're not talking like you don't have to have much just 50

00:19:21.260 feet lower and all of a sudden you have 150 miles out in some places that's now dry land um but but

00:19:29.720 then turn that into move not just out but then move with uh square miles you have thousands

00:19:35.520 arguably tens of thousands,

00:19:36.980 maybe even hundreds of thousands

00:19:38.140 of extra square miles, continents.

00:19:40.420 My point is continents are bigger

00:19:41.480 and oceans are smaller.

00:19:42.840 That's the sum.

00:19:44.880 Continents are much larger

00:19:46.040 and ocean is much smaller

00:19:48.860 during that time of a,

00:19:51.340 whatever it might be,

00:19:52.260 a 500 or millennial cycle, whatever.

00:19:55.640 In which case, crossing the ocean,

00:19:57.620 still impressive props to guys who did it,

00:20:00.780 but much more feasible

00:20:02.500 than when we think of crossing

00:20:04.020 the Atlantic Ocean today.

00:20:05.700 It could have been half the size, potentially,

00:20:08.480 in some cross points and places.

00:20:10.680 Yeah, that even is the Siberian land bridge idea.

00:20:12.920 They just add their evolutionary timeline 0.99

00:20:14.760 and all, you know, 60,000, younger dry ass. 1.00

00:20:17.240 And I mean, they add a bunch of stuff, 0.99

00:20:19.280 but it's the same basic idea.

00:20:21.040 We know this happened because we do find civilizations

00:20:23.620 everywhere off the coast of Greece, Africa,

00:20:27.220 like you said, Japan.

00:20:28.220 We found scores of these underwater. 1.00

00:20:32.460 There's like an Indian city

00:20:34.600 that was talked about in legend

00:20:35.780 that they didn't think was real.

00:20:37.120 And it talks about how it was overcome

00:20:38.460 with water in a night and they find it. 0.87

00:20:41.080 There's the Egyptian Tronus,

00:20:42.620 which was Egypt's Atlantis.

00:20:45.260 It sat off the coast from Alexandria

00:20:47.340 and was near to the lighthouse

00:20:48.680 and it was overcome with water in some short time.

00:20:51.460 And then they find it.

00:20:52.920 So this happens all the time.

00:20:54.920 Right.

00:20:55.480 Our guy, the Rakat structure,

00:20:57.940 which is Atlantis.

00:20:58.900 Not underwater though.

00:20:59.900 Not underwater,

00:21:00.680 but a similar changing of landscape

00:21:03.120 type of event that took place, catastrophic.

00:21:07.100 One of the really interesting ideas

00:21:08.580 for getting to the Americas,

00:21:10.600 and it's about the seafaring stuff,

00:21:12.040 is that there's this legend in the late Bronze Age

00:21:15.300 that begins to come up of the Sea Peoples.

00:21:19.040 And it talks about how they came from the Aegean Sea 0.86

00:21:21.520 and they assaulted Egypt and they assaulted Greece,

00:21:27.780 whatever Alexander the Great called Greece, Macedon. 0.94

00:21:31.940 They assaulted Macedon, all these people.

00:21:35.480 And then finally, Ramses III of Egypt repels them 0.99

00:21:39.060 and he traps them in a little peninsula of land 0.88

00:21:43.620 that he calls Fi'il-Stein.

00:21:47.280 And it's just, it's sandwiched

00:21:50.640 between the Mediterranean and Israel. 0.80

00:21:52.760 Fi'il-Stein. 0.73

00:21:53.540 And it's Fi'il-Stein.

00:21:54.600 Also pronounced.

00:21:55.520 Yeah.

00:21:56.260 Fi'il-Stein.

00:21:56.820 Fi'il-Stein, yes. 1.00

00:21:58.060 And they were a horrible people 1.00

00:21:59.800 and they were very grotesque and savage 0.98

00:22:01.460 and even quite large.

00:22:03.580 Like giant-ish, you might say.

00:22:05.100 But if you go back from that and you're like, 0.95

00:22:07.620 okay, well, where could these sea peoples have come from? 0.99

00:22:10.160 One option is that they came from South America

00:22:14.480 because the South American Incan people

00:22:17.020 had this idea in legend that long ago

00:22:20.580 at the beginning of the world to them,

00:22:22.780 which would be after the flood,

00:22:24.600 at the beginning of the world,

00:22:26.240 they were approached by a group of people from the sea

00:22:29.540 who came in birds from the sea, so white-sailed ships,

00:22:33.740 and they helped them build all of their towns.

00:22:36.620 Towns which stand today

00:22:38.220 as some of the most impressive megalithic structures

00:22:41.440 in the world with stones that are tens of tons heavy

00:22:45.940 and that are cut in such a way

00:22:48.080 that you can't fit a credit card between them,

00:22:50.500 even to this day in Tiwanakin,

00:22:52.800 which, by the way, is 200 miles from the nearest quarry.

00:22:56.440 Where these rocks came from.

00:22:57.920 And 4,000 feet up.

00:22:59.420 Yeah, an elevation gain.

00:23:00.900 We easily moved with certain vibrations.

00:23:03.360 Right.

00:23:03.900 Well, no, that's the thing.

00:23:04.980 Coral is all in Coral Castle.

00:23:06.140 So we actually, we can't do that today.

00:23:08.520 We don't have the technology.

00:23:09.860 We don't have the means to transport stones of that size.

00:23:13.220 Not a 200 ton.

00:23:14.160 No.

00:23:14.920 And so the myth is that these people from the sea,

00:23:18.640 who were giants, by the way,

00:23:20.060 I hope that goes without saying,

00:23:21.260 but they were giants,

00:23:22.400 were able to use their magic trumpets

00:23:24.200 to fly the rocks up to the shores of Lake Titicaca

00:23:27.500 and build Tiwanaku.

00:23:29.340 And so then the idea is that they dwelt there for some time.

00:23:32.080 The legend says that eventually one of the Incan princes

00:23:34.740 tries to make war against them and actually succeeds

00:23:37.820 and drives them back into the sea.

00:23:40.140 And if their timeline is right,

00:23:42.180 it would actually line up quite nicely with the late Bronze Age.

00:23:45.740 And so the idea is that they were repelled from Babel at the dispersion. 0.92

00:23:49.420 They got help from their fallen ocean demon gods 0.92

00:23:54.640 to not only build ships, but have calm seas.

00:23:57.460 if you had principalities that were overseeing their travel.

00:24:00.080 We talked about that in a previous episode.

00:24:01.400 Right, we talked about, and they go to South America,

00:24:03.880 they live there for some age,

00:24:05.440 and then they eventually go back

00:24:06.540 to take what they feel like they lost.

00:24:08.300 And so they go back to the same region

00:24:09.920 in which the Tower of Babel was built. 0.99

00:24:11.920 And everywhere they go, they carry with them 1.00

00:24:14.540 the kind of false religion that's associated

00:24:16.960 with serpent worship, with death cults, human sacrifice.

00:24:20.700 These aren't like, oh, these, we can think of them

00:24:23.260 as these great technological innovators.

00:24:25.320 The big friendly giant.

00:24:25.980 Like, oh, look, they brought this technology to man

00:24:29.120 and it was so, so nice.

00:24:30.180 They're like really evil, demanding worship, 0.79

00:24:33.380 establishing death cults.

00:24:35.320 Well, and even the BFG, it's funny.

00:24:36.660 I mean, that's the whole thing about the story

00:24:38.380 is that the BFG is an anomaly

00:24:40.200 because it's a friendly giant.

00:24:41.840 And all of his brothers, he's the runt,

00:24:43.500 all of his brothers are man-eaters. 1.00

00:24:45.340 They eat human beings. 0.65

00:24:46.200 Like the typical giant, right?

00:24:47.160 So whether it's Jack and the Beanstalk

00:24:49.200 or whether it's the BFG, all of his brothers,

00:24:51.120 him being the one exception, being kind.

00:24:53.360 And almost every giant, you know, conception,

00:24:56.740 you know, giants, fee-fi-fo-fum,

00:25:00.240 I smell the blood of an Englishman.

00:25:01.840 Like, I'm hungry. 0.80

00:25:02.760 Be he alive or be he dead, 0.99

00:25:03.860 I'll grind his bones to make my breath. 0.99

00:25:05.100 That's right. 1.00

00:25:05.540 They're cannibals. 1.00

00:25:06.640 So they're big, they're violent, 1.00

00:25:09.300 and they're out for blood, the blood of men.

00:25:12.480 And spreading that same tainted worship among men.

00:25:17.140 Right.

00:25:17.420 Wherever they go.

00:25:18.360 Yeah, not just building towns,

00:25:19.840 but they also are building altars, mounds, serpent mounds.

00:25:24.500 Ohio, River Valley.

00:25:25.960 They serve as altars to worship demon gods, 0.59

00:25:29.260 their fathers coming from Nephilim that come from watchers. 0.78

00:25:32.540 But then also some of these mounds,

00:25:35.200 I mean, it's plausible that it's not just a place

00:25:37.360 of offering worship, but even serving as certain portals.

00:25:40.800 Yeah.

00:25:41.260 Oh, interesting.

00:25:42.240 Bringing in demonic spirits.

00:25:45.440 So, you know, I was listening to this interview

00:25:47.520 that Pastor Doug Van Dorn did with somebody.

00:25:50.740 Love Doug Van Dorn.

00:25:51.620 His book, Giant Sons of the Gods,

00:25:52.960 is absolutely amazing.

00:25:54.040 You should all read it.

00:25:55.340 But he was talking about-

00:25:56.160 He's a Reformed Baptist.

00:25:56.660 Yes, he is. 0.93

00:25:57.640 We'll get him Paedo Baptist here before the end.

00:26:00.300 We'll give him at least partial credit for that.

00:26:02.320 Yeah, so close.

00:26:03.660 No, he was talking about how he was,

00:26:06.240 I think it was Skywatch TV,

00:26:08.120 how he was at the Gilgal Rephaim.

00:26:10.480 I believe that it was the Gilgal Rephaim,

00:26:12.300 but it may have been somewhere in Egypt

00:26:14.060 that was similarly structured.

00:26:16.020 But if you don't know, the Gilgal Rephaim is the wheel of giants

00:26:19.280 in the Golan Heights of Gilead, north of Israel,

00:26:22.660 about 52 miles south of Mount Hermon.

00:26:25.560 And what it is, is I think that it was a pre-Diluvian structure,

00:26:31.500 a place of worship for giants or for the fallen Nephilim.

00:26:35.540 And then after the flood, it was in ruins,

00:26:38.800 but it was still used by Og as a place of worship to the starry host

00:26:43.640 because it aligns with solstice dates

00:26:45.480 and all these important dates.

00:26:47.520 And so it seems to be the consensus

00:26:49.720 that it was some place of worship

00:26:51.120 and then it became a burial mound

00:26:53.060 for a very prominent king.

00:26:54.820 And by the way, the sarcophagus in the middle of it

00:26:56.980 lines up quite nicely with the Aug's measurements,

00:26:59.120 but that's beside the point for now.

00:27:01.360 The point that I'm making is that when you go,

00:27:04.260 according to Pastor Van Dorn,

00:27:06.080 there's been times where he and his team

00:27:07.780 have been in places like unto this,

00:27:10.160 whether it's the Wheel of Giants or somewhere in Egypt,

00:27:12.280 I'm having a hard time remembering.

00:27:13.640 and they've seen orbs.

00:27:15.980 They've seen orbs flashing.

00:27:17.860 They've seen orbs flying around

00:27:19.180 and they felt air pressure change

00:27:21.780 really dramatically, quickly

00:27:23.820 with cold and hot and wind and stillness.

00:27:27.400 And so to your point, I mean,

00:27:29.940 there very well could be at least an attempt

00:27:32.100 at some sort of portal action going on.

00:27:34.280 Supernatural activity that's associated with these places

00:27:36.620 would make absolute sense

00:27:37.800 when we're talking about unclean spirits

00:27:41.120 and even more powerful beings

00:27:44.640 that are associated with this demonic activity.

00:27:47.840 Again, wherever you see one phenomenon,

00:27:51.440 you're going to be much more likely to see others.

00:27:54.820 It's a theme you run through,

00:27:56.220 including modern like Skinwalker Ranch

00:27:58.660 and these kinds of things.

00:27:59.680 You often find these strange clusters

00:28:02.160 of Bigfoot, UAP, portal activity.

00:28:05.960 Yeah, Mount Shasta.

00:28:07.340 Can we talk about that in another episode?

00:28:08.660 Yeah.

00:28:09.320 And the point is that it's all connected.

00:28:11.120 You would actually expect to see multiple phenomena converging on a single place because it's real.

00:28:19.680 Because there is real threat there.

00:28:21.220 There is real power there.

00:28:22.560 It's not just all made up.

00:28:24.340 And so it'd actually be a point in the opposite camp's favor if it was only ever a one-note thing at all these places.

00:28:34.300 It was only ever like, oh, every once in a while you see an orb.

00:28:37.540 But it's not that.

00:28:38.680 There's all these other things that are occurring.

00:28:40.640 And that's actually what lends it credibility in my mind.

00:28:43.940 There's not just giants and then orbs.

00:28:46.580 It's like there are malevolent, ancient, undying spiritual forces

00:28:50.380 waging never-ending or ceaseless war against the image of God and his throne.

00:28:55.860 That's the world.

00:28:57.120 We know that theologically.

00:28:58.660 That's what we're seeing.

00:28:59.680 We don't wrestle with flesh and blood, with powers and principalities.

00:29:03.840 So wherever you're going to see a stronghold of those things,

00:29:07.040 you're going to see everything that comes with those beings.

00:29:09.020 And maybe there was some sort of network of attempted portals around the world with varying degrees of success.

00:29:16.640 I mean, because the whole idea of burial mounds is not common to one place or is not relegated to one place.

00:29:26.000 It's common among all places.

00:29:27.540 Even in North America, we have multiple examples of so-called Native American Indian burial grounds.

00:29:33.420 But they always say, we didn't build these.

00:29:35.200 And they always find giant bones in them.

00:29:38.480 Yep.

00:29:39.020 And so you have a place like the Serpent Mound in Ohio.

00:29:41.760 But the Smithsonian said that they don't find the bones.

00:29:43.940 That's right.

00:29:44.460 And so you can rest assured that they did.

00:29:49.740 But you have a place like the Serpent Mound in Ohio

00:29:51.860 that's a great North American addition

00:29:55.200 of this same phenomenon that happens everywhere,

00:29:57.480 where it's the largest land effigy in the world.

00:30:00.200 It's this quarter mile long coiling serpent

00:30:03.540 whose bends of the body point

00:30:06.280 to certain celestial dates in the sky.

00:30:09.360 There's a spiraling coil at one end

00:30:12.340 that seems to echo the Gilgal Rephaim very nicely

00:30:15.540 in terms of concentric circles,

00:30:17.920 somehow being important in the worship of the starry host

00:30:21.200 and in this pagan ceremonial worship.

00:30:24.500 And then at the other end, the snake is devouring an egg.

00:30:28.560 And they have claimed that in times past,

00:30:32.520 when we had less technology than we do now,

00:30:34.720 they were excavating the place around the egg

00:30:38.140 and they found that it clearly used to be an altar

00:30:40.580 and they found human remains around it,

00:30:44.060 some of which were very big, up to 10 feet tall.

00:30:48.280 And that they were buried under this egg mound

00:30:50.580 and they were apparently a place of great honor

00:30:52.780 for either sacrifices

00:30:54.440 or people that were doing the sacrificing,

00:30:57.820 the priests or the victims were buried there in honor.

00:31:01.980 Wow.

00:32:51.460 all right um could there be giants today yeah yes but i i do believe that if there are

00:33:02.240 that the trend with giants is that they become less numerous and intermingled and diluted yeah

00:33:08.680 so i don't think that you're likely to go out and find a 40 foot tall giant today i just don't think

00:33:13.900 that's likely. I also think the nature of these beings and the culture that they make is a death

00:33:21.860 culture. And so it devours itself over time. And also then you start thinking about cultures that

00:33:28.580 would be near to giant populations. That's an ever looming threat. One way of dealing with a threat

00:33:35.120 is not just defense, but it's offense. It's to go and say, we're not going to let these giants be

00:33:40.460 near us anymore we're going to destroy them and so i think it's possible but because of those

00:33:46.700 various factors if there are they're limited scattered isolated remote hiding effectively

00:33:54.320 and then you have you know then you have to figure out how are they feeding themselves and

00:33:59.460 right you know that that whole thing but what do you guys think they're feeding themselves on the

00:34:04.680 on the flesh of American special forces.

00:34:07.200 I mean, other than the,

00:34:09.200 well, because it was the first team that went out

00:34:11.300 in the Kandahar Giants.

00:34:12.160 Can you tell us the story of the Kandahar Giants?

00:34:13.720 I think let's end with that.

00:34:15.360 We've done it before, actually.

00:34:16.900 Let's do it again.

00:34:18.080 Does anybody ever get tired of the Kandahar Giants?

00:34:20.760 No one's going to be tired.

00:34:21.780 So the idea is that, was it Afghanistan or Iraq?

00:34:24.800 Afghanistan.

00:34:25.560 I believe it was Afghanistan.

00:34:26.240 Yeah, so there's a patrol that goes out in Afghanistan

00:34:29.600 in the early 2000s when American forces are there.

00:34:32.320 In the Kandahar province.

00:34:33.080 In the Kandahar province.

00:34:34.060 and they go out and they never come back.

00:34:36.640 They just don't hear from them, nothing.

00:34:38.620 So they send out another team,

00:34:40.200 which this is, I believe, the special forces unit,

00:34:42.940 that special forces teams go out

00:34:44.760 and they're elite soldiers

00:34:46.160 that they're gonna do the hardest mission.

00:34:48.420 They're not just normal troops, right?

00:34:50.540 So they go out and they're looking for days.

00:34:52.420 I mean, out into the remote mountainous regions.

00:34:55.080 If you're familiar with this region,

00:34:57.040 it actually looks similar to some places in Utah.

00:35:00.500 Some of the mountains are very steep,

00:35:02.260 very steep rocky valleys. 0.94

00:35:04.060 And it's the places where we've been unable to defeat small forces of Taliban native fighters because they know the caves, the region, they use the terrain to their advantage. 1.00

00:35:17.180 So it's very dense, very difficult terrain, easy to imagine, I don't know, red hair giants getting lost in it. 1.00

00:35:25.720 So they go out and after some days of looking, the special forces unit begins to stumble upon 1.00

00:35:32.220 equipment of this unit that's been lost. And then they come upon a cave. And all of a sudden,

00:35:39.440 if I'm remembering correctly from the story, one of the special forces guys suddenly has a spear

00:35:44.980 emerge from through his body and is skewered with a large spear and out emerges a giant who is 15,

00:35:54.640 20 feet tall. And it has red hair, six fingers and six toes. And they immediately, of course,

00:36:01.780 these are highly trained soldiers, turn and just give it a deluge of automatic small arms fire,

00:36:07.980 just for 30 seconds. It's like 10 guys for 30 straight seconds. It's a lot of rounds.

00:36:14.020 Your mag dump, switch, mag dump, switch, mag dump. If I see a giant, I'm mag dumping until it stops

00:36:18.420 Yeah, until it stops twitching, right?

00:36:21.000 And as the story goes, they actually take the giant down.

00:36:24.060 The giant expires and it does,

00:36:26.820 there's casualties, but they defeat the giant.

00:36:29.340 And then the most interesting part to me

00:36:30.780 is that they radio it in

00:36:33.300 and the military sends out a Chinook helicopter,

00:36:38.340 a very large helicopter,

00:36:39.640 and they chain this thing up.

00:36:43.160 They take it away and they, of course,

00:36:46.400 NDAs for everybody.

00:36:47.460 Which special forces are already under a million.

00:36:51.000 You're not allowed to talk about it.

00:36:52.540 If they ever publish a book,

00:36:53.960 it has to be cleared, for example,

00:36:55.820 through intelligence services with the army.

00:36:58.660 You're not allowed to reveal anything,

00:37:00.220 but they go even harder.

00:37:01.560 They say, you are not to speak of this.

00:37:03.100 This didn't happen.

00:37:04.460 Do you understand?

00:37:05.200 You never saw anything.

00:37:06.340 And that's the end of the story.

00:37:07.860 But then it leaked out amongst

00:37:09.080 kind of the community talked.

00:37:11.220 No one like went to a reporter day one,

00:37:12.880 but it slowly leaked out in the military services.

00:37:16.100 And not only did, so we told that story on Giants part two

00:37:20.500 that we did for Haunted Cosmos.

00:37:21.660 Right.

00:37:21.960 Okay.

00:37:22.560 And we got a comment.

00:37:24.420 We had several comments to this effect

00:37:25.940 of people who were like, I served, I knew people.

00:37:30.320 People were saying like, this really happened.

00:37:32.120 This happened.

00:37:32.880 And then you get the Clinton emails that were released

00:37:34.840 and she mentions Nephilim blood.

00:37:37.240 Is that a hoax or did that happen? 0.99

00:37:38.700 I'm pretty sure that happened.

00:37:39.680 I know that George Bush was talking about it too.

00:37:42.720 George Bush was talking about starting the war in Iraq

00:37:44.800 for Nephilim blood.

00:37:45.980 For Nephilim blood?

00:37:47.140 But Kandahar is in Afghanistan.

00:37:48.600 I got in trouble for saying it.

00:37:49.640 Yeah, we, look, we're Americans.

00:37:51.720 We're Americans.

00:37:52.280 We're allowed to get the geography wrong.

00:37:54.200 You can say mispronounced names.

00:37:56.120 Casadilla, Oaxaca.

00:37:58.560 Oaxaca in Mexico.

00:37:59.080 We got so many names about Oaxaca.

00:38:00.360 We're white, heterosexual men.

00:38:01.820 We can do what we want.

00:38:02.500 We're already the lowest on the DEI totem pole.

00:38:05.800 We're at the bottom, but let's be honest,

00:38:07.920 cultural totem pole, we do what we want.

00:38:09.640 We do what we want.

00:38:10.440 We do what we want.

00:38:10.920 We went to the moon.

00:38:11.900 There you go. 1.00

00:38:12.380 And on that race.

00:38:13.200 And you know what?

00:38:13.960 the moon being a psyop yeah i i do kind of feel like i agree with other guys have said this matt

00:38:20.480 walsh has even said this but uh pushing against going to the moon could be the psyop to take away

00:38:26.460 you know just one more effort to take away any kind of achievement one of the greatest westerners

00:38:31.700 have ever made but there are two kinds of countries those that use the metric system

00:38:35.100 and those have been to the moon that's right amen great place to end the episode yeah thank you

00:38:38.880 Thank you.

00:38:40.180 Okay, so I think that's it for giants.

00:38:42.100 But if you got a final thought, go ahead and throw it.

00:38:44.300 If not, tune in next time.

00:38:45.640 We're going to be talking about angels.

00:38:47.120 Yes.

00:38:47.780 Any final thoughts?

00:38:48.640 Good to go?

00:38:48.960 My final thought is that you should remember 0.61

00:38:52.260 that Christ is the greater David. 0.67

00:38:54.500 That's right. 0.51

00:38:54.800 And he did kill the giant.

00:38:56.020 And so all of this, the point of all of this ultimately

00:38:58.680 is for man in Christ to follow after the Lord

00:39:02.300 in conquering and taking dominion

00:39:04.360 over everywhere the curse is found

00:39:06.360 and everywhere that the enemy has brought

00:39:09.740 bespoiling and destruction and filth,

00:39:14.020 we go and we bring truth and goodness and beauty and light.

00:39:16.800 So the point of these stories isn't to be like giants.

00:39:20.060 How cool is that? 0.97

00:39:20.700 Although I would like to shoot a giant. 0.98

00:39:22.400 That is cool. 0.99

00:39:23.500 Like it's okay to enjoy.

00:39:24.580 Yeah, it's totally cool.

00:39:25.500 But it's the glory of God to conceal a matter,

00:39:27.140 glory of kings to search it out.

00:39:28.500 It's, I mean-

00:39:29.300 You should enjoy the story that you're in.

00:39:31.120 These should build your faith

00:39:32.440 that the biblical narrative is true.

00:39:34.520 Right.

00:39:34.760 against all of the materialist cult.

00:39:36.660 And that we current,

00:39:37.480 the biblical narrative of what,

00:39:38.760 everything that's happened in the past is true.

00:39:40.720 Let God be true in every man a liar.

00:39:42.200 Also the current world today in the present,

00:39:45.040 we still live in a magical world.

00:39:46.920 And the world is not just stuff,

00:39:48.640 but then in giants,

00:39:49.640 and that's enough for most things.

00:39:51.280 But then giants particularly,

00:39:54.180 you have a few giant killers.

00:39:56.940 You have Joshua, the giant slayer,

00:39:59.360 then you have David, the giant slayer.

00:40:00.800 And both are types of Christ.

00:40:02.120 And that's not a coincidence.

00:40:03.060 But then you have the last giant slayer, who is Jesus himself, who slays the ultimate giant.

00:40:09.640 You know, that great serpent lays him in his grave.

00:40:14.140 And so that's, you know, everything is ultimately pointing towards him.

00:40:18.240 And one of the reasons why we don't have giants today, like we once did, is not because of the success.

00:40:23.880 You know, it's ironic because we were just talking about Westerner success and landing on that.

00:40:27.180 But it's not because of that.

00:40:28.260 It's not because of sophistication and what man has achieved by his, you know, collective might.

00:40:32.600 we don't have giants today because Yahweh through his people and ultimately through his son has 0.60

00:40:38.560 wiped them out. The plan of the serpent was not successful and his head has been crushed. 0.95

00:40:43.500 Yeah. The fact that there's no giants means that Christ did win and is still winning and will

00:40:48.320 never stop. And that's where you want to be careful. We mentioned this in another episode,

00:40:51.960 but I'll mention it once more here at the very end. That's where you want to be careful because

00:40:55.100 a lot of people are on board with giants and cryptids and Bigfoot and these kinds of things,

00:40:59.080 and we're on board we're down but uh they're on board with these things but there's one key

00:41:04.300 difference between the way they think about the way that we do um they would be on board with

00:41:09.460 these things and they would say and it's coming back and it's going to be worse than ever you

00:41:13.900 know whereas we would say no no the reason why it has like why why sightings when you read folklore

00:41:20.140 and ancient things it was much more common and these things have uh have have subsided we're

00:41:25.860 not saying that it's not real anymore that there won't be a sighting and yeah it'd be super cool

00:41:30.180 to see bigfoot you know also super terrifying but all you know all these different things um but

00:41:34.580 we're saying no uh the work of christ and the world is um is a potent work it's not an impotent

00:41:42.100 work christ and it come to do nothing right like christ changed the world we have two human history

00:41:48.500 can be divided up into two categories before christ and after christ there is a a categorical

00:41:55.560 difference um in the coming of christ and um and that's why we don't and so no it's it things are

00:42:02.000 not progressively getting worse and worse and worse uh but christ has conquered is conquering

00:42:07.020 um and will return whenever that is um but before he does return we believe that the general trend

00:42:13.920 of history will continue to be up that doesn't mean there won't be some big spikes along the way

00:42:17.760 and some of those spikes may involve um some really crazy things that we thought were gone

00:42:24.400 you know but turns out whoa there's a giant you know it turns out in miami you know that there's

00:42:28.920 something walking around and one million police cars and so like we're we're we're open to that

00:42:34.340 but what we're not open to is the um the the overarching headline story being things are

00:42:40.740 getting worse and worse and worse and worse and worse and worse and worse and they can do no

00:42:43.920 otherwise no christ did something yep yeah so amen all right thanks for tuning in and uh join
