The Podcast of the Lotus Eaters - The Podcast of the Lotus Eaters #1017

00:00:00.000 good afternoon folks welcome to the podcast the lotus thesis for the 8th of october 2024 i'm

00:00:13.220 joined by beau and luca johnson and today we're going to be talking about the return of the king

00:00:17.580 the butler pa i really enjoyed uh trump's return and then we're going to be talking about uh the

00:00:23.180 king of the internet elon endorsing trump and why he is doing so and then we're going to have a bit

00:00:27.960 of a tangent on morrissey because apparently morrissey keeps saying things that are uh

00:00:32.540 politically pertinent which i think is very interesting which is why he's very unpopular

00:00:37.100 these days in his uh circles of musicians isn't he he just can't help himself yeah morrissey's a

00:00:43.100 noticer he's very much a noticer isn't he this is a lot of things and he doesn't have to keep his

00:00:49.540 mouth shut uh it's it's superb um but uh yeah before we go and get started after the podcast

00:00:56.740 we're going to be doing a round table on the corruption of tolkien you may have noticed

00:01:00.860 there's a huge amount of subversion uh in the tolkien sphere should we call it um the worst 1.00

00:01:09.140 culprits being the tolkien society themselves big tolkien no no the tolkien society is awful 0.97

00:01:17.300 absolutely awful riddled with intersectionality and it's not just riddled with it it is overflowing

00:01:23.080 with it and it's awful and luca being a resident expert here is going to tell us all about it

00:01:28.560 and uh as well on friday we're doing the lads out pub quiz uh we're going to be joined by harrison

00:01:35.240 pitt and we're going to be um answering pub quiz questions i'm always terrible at pub quizzes because

00:01:40.500 they require uh normally they require a sort of level of general knowledge about pop culture i just

00:01:45.740 don't have like who's the finest on love island i don't know you know why would i know that you know

00:01:51.280 you take pride in not knowing the answer exactly i take pride in not knowing the answer um so i'm

00:01:57.460 all right as long as it's not popular music well yeah that's you know anything about that old sports

00:02:02.100 yeah he won this in the 70s no idea why would i know that and so anyway uh come and uh join our pub

00:02:10.760 quiz because it's going to be fun uh anyway let's begin

00:02:13.800 we're supposed to do an extended oh we'll talk about islander islander so okay well before we begin

00:02:22.240 uh this is the final week for islander issue two and uh we have one of the authors here which is luca

00:02:28.700 and he has done he's doing a superb series called the marshals of middle earth now if you got islander

00:02:34.340 one you'll have seen the first one was about boromir the tragic story very tragic uh but the second

00:02:40.260 one was about faramir and it's a very different uh character uh faramir isn't it absolutely yes

00:02:45.640 yeah because boromir one of the things that i start out by saying in the article for a cheeky

00:02:50.600 preview is that really boromir exists in the same legacy of western warriors from all the way back to

00:02:57.520 achilles the time of achilles right that you're the strongest most powerful most honorable man

00:03:02.520 in the world but faramir uh is a character that tolkien didn't really initially intend to create

00:03:09.520 he just came along very organically in the story and faramir is much more about his intelligence and

00:03:15.820 his wisdom and his humility because the fact of the matter is that uh it's very much born out of

00:03:21.120 tolkien's experience in world war one and tolkien fought at the battle of the somme and even boromir

00:03:27.480 or achilles has as much chance of being hit by a machine gun or standing on a landline

00:03:33.280 as anyone else and so world war one required a reinvention of what it meant to be a western hero

00:03:39.500 and that's something that he does very very well with the character of faramir i like the uh the

00:03:44.680 moral distinctions between boromir and faramir in particular because of course boromir being

00:03:49.600 the great warrior he's not going to be defeated in single combat by any particular opponent

00:03:53.800 but he didn't have the moral fortitude to be able to resist the ring whereas faramir did didn't he

00:03:59.100 yes he did yeah it's one of the the biggest uh divergences it's one of those the tolkien purists

00:04:05.100 if you ever ask them about the films you say what was your biggest disappointment other than tom

00:04:09.680 bombadil not being in it no no i was glad i did tom bombadil insufferable it was fine but one of the

00:04:16.260 things they say is the changing of the character of faramir yeah because it's really about that from

00:04:22.720 the very beginning of the story faramir is wise enough to know not just not to use the weapon of

00:04:29.660 the enemy but the more he knows about it the more he'll be enticed by it and so it's you know if you

00:04:35.940 have an addiction to something the best thing to do is not to have it right next to you yeah at all

00:04:41.420 times try not to be constantly tempted right thing that you're interested and if there's parallels

00:04:45.820 between boromir and achilles or diomedes or ajax or something there's parallel between ferramir and

00:04:51.980 odysseus being wily or yes having forethought there is definitely that element of wit in there as well

00:05:00.520 but there is also i think as well the distinction between uh their father denethor and why boromir was

00:05:07.740 the more favored and it's because for the older generation hang on a second oh sure let's not spoil it

00:05:12.620 because right okay what what no no no because the thing is the marshals of middle earth series is

00:05:18.480 one of my favorite things in islander and you do explain exactly why uh denethor favored boromir

00:05:25.160 over faramir and so i'm not going to spoil it so basically you've got one week left go and get it

00:05:29.380 it's really good it's packed with just incredibly enriching articles you're going to love it um so

00:05:34.360 let's move on to another king who's returned okay because a bit of a lord of the rings day today

00:05:39.600 having luca yeah it is and there's a round table later so i titled this segment return of the king

00:05:44.320 talking about the donald oh yes but of course hopefully we're not deliberately trying to goad

00:05:50.260 americans we know he's not no no he's not a king he will never be a king obviously

00:05:54.900 morally though but deniro's scared that he basically will be remember deniro he'll never leave

00:06:01.420 if trump gets in he will never leave fingers crossed yeah yeah moral authority of a king at this

00:06:08.620 point yeah something approaching those lines so it was a few days ago now uh but trump had a um

00:06:15.440 a rally at butler pa he went back to the scene of the crime it's quite brave really i mean they had

00:06:21.520 the the bulletproof uh like hope hope glass stuff i mean it's kind of understandable no oh yeah i'm not

00:06:28.520 blaming it no no i got shot by an attempted assassin maybe i will put the plexiglass up this time

00:06:34.400 if it were me i'd put the plexiglass up forever more now which again it wouldn't be an unreasonable

00:06:40.200 thing to do yeah yeah no right i'd probably just uh live stream from the basement of the white house

00:06:46.480 or uh i don't think it's allowed there now that oh no yeah not yet yeah some sort of bomb-proof

00:06:52.920 basement at mara lago then i love the way that he begins this though yeah so um he did just say

00:06:59.400 basically as i was saying points to the graft yeah as if he was interrupted mid-sentence best

00:07:05.380 intro he could have possibly given yeah yeah uh but the takeaway sort of headline that if you know

00:07:11.240 all these things everything now get days gets reduced to a few seconds doesn't it or one sound

00:07:16.020 bite or something and it was that when elon comes on stage he sort of does uh he jumps with joy

00:07:22.860 a couple times we love our autists don't we folks yeah it's great it seemed like a genuine expression

00:07:30.140 of yeah yeah yeah happiness yeah i like his t-shirt actually occupy mars that's cool yeah the the last

00:07:36.820 man who actually is trying to do something interesting it's got that uh with of american

00:07:41.660 manifest destiny yeah yeah yeah it's funny actually that trump's like wait what's what's he doing behind

00:07:47.380 me uh the thing is to be being embarrassing yes trump and elon are very different people trump is

00:07:53.400 a boomer um and with boomers are very concerned about status and the opinions of the neighbors and

00:08:01.240 the people around them very concerned oh what will the neighbors think what will so and so think

00:08:04.700 and so being a new york billionaire businessman trump's like that magnified outside of the normal

00:08:12.480 context uh whereas elon is an autistic gen x tech bro uh he he doesn't have any idea what people

00:08:19.780 around him think of him and doesn't care and doesn't care yeah he's just just the idea of oh other

00:08:24.160 people's opinions they must have some i suppose and and you you can see this every time elon is to

00:08:31.620 any kind of public appearance and to be honest with you i find it really endearing oh yeah because uh

00:08:37.020 it's honest right it's real yeah he's he enjoys the sort of freedom most people will never know

00:08:42.060 that true fu money yes you know if he lost 99 of his fortune he'd still have over two billion

00:08:47.280 dollars right so yeah but also there's a kind of it goes it goes more than that right because i mean

00:08:52.720 elon's what 51 52 is he the old yeah yeah he's he's he's getting on and he's got like 10 kids or

00:08:58.000 something he's been married a bunch of times like i am telling you that when you've got a certain number

00:09:02.660 of children and you reach a certain age you do arrive at a point of freedom that you just didn't realize

00:09:07.700 was possible like freedom from other people's judgments you're like look it doesn't matter what

00:09:11.660 your opinion is because i'm still at a position that just can't be taken away by other people's

00:09:17.880 thoughts and speeches you know i'm still the father of my children i still have to be the moral authority

00:09:22.740 that is um instructing them on what to do and so you do arrive and this is why like you know

00:09:29.000 your parents just don't care what your friends think yeah it's just like they just don't care

00:09:33.900 they're so beyond it that it's again and to have the sort of financial freedom that elon must have

00:09:40.300 at this point just like he's just arrived at a level of irreverence so far beyond that yeah

00:09:47.120 yeah even someone like uriah already you know when you're a teenager and maybe you uh you like you see

00:09:53.980 one of your teachers out in the town center you're just like you're so embarrassed yeah it's weird or

00:09:57.920 like you're one of your parents is wearing something really uncool your mum they come pick you up

00:10:02.520 and embarrasses you and like yeah and like everything's just really really embarrassing

00:10:07.180 and at some point usually hopefully if you're a well-rounded person at some point you just drop

00:10:11.180 all of that yeah you just don't care anymore about any of that yeah it just falls um yeah um and so

00:10:16.540 anyway yeah elon's in that position elon um yeah good for him good for him so can we play that first

00:10:24.000 clip uh if you play that then samson

00:10:26.620 can we play that first clip please

00:10:32.820 his name is elon musk he saved free speech he created saved every one of us

00:10:41.980 so many different great things where is he come on up here elon he created the first major

00:10:49.820 american car company in generations and his rocket company is the only reason we can now send

00:10:57.240 american astronauts into space come here take over elon yes take over

00:11:03.560 we had one president who couldn't climb a flight of stairs and another who was fist pumping after 0.94

00:11:14.720 getting shot fight fight fight blood coming down the face uh the other side wants to take away

00:11:25.140 freedom of speech uh because we got other clips and he makes a great point though because i mean

00:11:29.620 even mark zuckerberg was like okay that was badass yeah you know you couldn't okay yeah you know

00:11:34.480 i think everyone's seeing that iconic image if you're remotely pro-trump then you're like well

00:11:40.100 that's cool and if you're a completely anti-trumper got trump derangement syndrome you must have been

00:11:44.360 like oh he's still grinding your teeth why didn't they get it that is kind of cool

00:11:48.820 it makes me think you know of that yeah it's really viral and so many people have seen it now but you

00:11:54.720 know the shane gillis impression of trump where he's talking about the uh you know and like when

00:11:58.760 they killed solomanias like oh i wouldn't have cried and everything but we know now yeah he didn't

00:12:04.520 really he wouldn't have cried because he was in the life and death situation and no he showed

00:12:10.420 who he truly was you know in his car in that moment shane gillis's trump is the best trump so good i

00:12:16.920 mean elon makes that point in his speech that he gives doesn't he yeah he's like well we actually

00:12:21.380 know what he's like under fire yeah i mean i don't doubt that did win over a lot of people as well

00:12:26.860 worked on the tech bros worked on zuckerberg yeah being cool calm and collected under fire

00:12:30.600 can we play the second clip where it's a bit of elon speaking a little bit further into when he was

00:12:35.520 speaking they want to take away your right to vote effectively you got 14 states now that that

00:12:42.580 don't require voter id california where i used to live um is just just passed a law banning voter id

00:12:52.000 for voting

00:12:53.020 huh i i still can't believe that's real so how are you supposed to have a good proper election if

00:13:04.680 there's no id is meaningless and and and free speech free speech is the bedrock of democracy

00:13:13.120 and if if people don't know what's what's going on if they don't know the truth how can you how can

00:13:22.840 you make an informed vote you must have free speech in order to have democracy that's why it's the first

00:13:28.740 amendment and the and the second amendment is there to ensure that we have the first amendment

00:13:35.620 okay stop playing that if you want because it goes on to his president speaks fairly slowly but

00:13:47.560 the next thing he goes on to say is all about uh registry and make sure you're registered to vote in

00:13:52.400 america um so yeah i would parrot that i like the fact that he's got the dark maga hat on yeah dark

00:13:58.580 maga they take the mickey out yeah yes um because he's not just maga he's dark maga um but i mean elon's

00:14:04.400 not saying anything that's not completely true and he hasn't stood by like if it wasn't for elon

00:14:10.000 buying twitter god only knows what things would look like yeah the narratives that would be unable

00:14:15.580 to be advanced because of the censorship i mean trump was banned from twitter i mean trump's back so

00:14:20.820 again it's if there was anything inauthentic to any of this i wouldn't hesitate to point that out

00:14:26.700 but there's not i mean you know i'm quite critical of nigel farage and reform these days because i do find

00:14:30.780 they're becoming a bit inauthentic but only you know it's it's from a british point of view it's

00:14:35.900 okay this is very american but okay fine they are americans i'm happy to let that go and they're not

00:14:42.080 saying anything that's not completely correct no you know i'm a bit of an elon simp yeah yeah well he

00:14:47.760 brought my twitter back so i am right yeah if elon hadn't bought uh twitter though we wouldn't even

00:14:54.380 be sat here contemplating the idea that trump could inevitably you know just win the election

00:14:59.900 in a few weeks if elon hadn't bought twitter it's that simple it was a big thing it was a big thing

00:15:04.560 it was a bit of a game changer or a momentum shifter yes however you want to say i wrote an

00:15:09.360 article ages ago uh uh really really praising elon like comically so though it's very deliberately

00:15:15.540 over the top but i said of him all hail good king elon first of his name he saved every one of us

00:15:21.480 oh all hail king elon the first lord of tesla master of spacex prince of the paypal states

00:15:27.080 all hail the mighty lord musk father of the earth emperor among men for he saved every one of us

00:15:32.520 amen but it hasn't aged badly has it like he hasn't disappointed me yeah no it's good yeah i'm hoping

00:15:41.460 that he'll pick me as a ship's poet when i first go to mars i'm genuinely hoping that elon what you'd go

00:15:47.200 to mars would you yeah yeah yeah you and dan don't fancy it there's nothing there that's not

00:15:52.180 the point you know the british public holders whether they go to the moon and half of them

00:15:57.900 said no there's nothing there it's just one of the most fantastic journeys and adventures you could

00:16:02.260 ever imagine but yeah it's uh what is essentially a desert planet

00:16:05.800 it's not what's the issue here okay well you know anyway you you can use your star link to

00:16:13.340 you know send me an email yeah how is it on mars you've got well there's not much to do it's a bit

00:16:18.580 boring actually yeah no um no i think i i can't think of anything it's not totally more amazing to do

00:16:25.660 with your time than something like that i'm going to do a bit of um a bit of content soon on probably

00:16:30.460 on epochs about magellan the idea of just i've done a few bits of content about great explorers

00:16:36.000 i'm fascinated by explorers thing is i think magellan's perspective is a lot more defensible

00:16:40.540 what's out there well barbarians foreign lands you know strange wildernesses uh not just rocky desert

00:16:47.020 there's more out there you know there might be sort of mars bats in the caves maybe find and then

00:16:53.460 you're the first person to find alien life or something anyway anyway um yeah if we could play the

00:16:58.720 next clip uh this is the bit where trump does that line uh might have to watch a few seconds of it

00:17:05.420 it's a good 15 20 seconds from this point but anyway um it's all right i just like the energy

00:17:13.540 it's electric we don't have things like this

00:17:17.280 whatever yeah the closest we've got is nigel and it's not as amped up as this is it near as high 0.90

00:17:26.920 lee thank you very much really and thank you a very big thank you to pennsylvania we love pennsylvania

00:17:38.520 and as i was saying

00:17:41.340 oh i love that i love that chart i love that graph isn't it a beautiful thing but also beautiful because

00:18:02.020 look at the number that's the day i left office it was the lowest border patrol the lowest it's ever

00:18:08.240 been illegal immigration today it's out of control but i love it for that's enough of that um yeah so 0.94

00:18:15.420 it's obviously uh yeah a great way of doing so good yeah um can i can i haven't got a mouse can

00:18:21.220 you scroll down on the uh oh there we go okay so the substance of his speech he spoke for what half

00:18:28.200 hour 40 minutes or so it's quite a long time before before uncle elon came on and um it was

00:18:33.360 quite good um i thought um quite patriotic and stirring and sort of unapologetic classic trump

00:18:39.440 fair um no nothing massive about policy or anything but um i guess this isn't really the state said

00:18:46.600 largest deportation since was eisenhower or something yeah that's that's pretty good um he did do um a

00:18:53.840 tribute to the people that were the person and the people that were wounded in last time

00:18:59.560 it was cory

00:19:01.120 comparator it's difficult to pronounce that that unfortunate chap's last name but they did a you know

00:19:08.020 it seemed like quite a heartfelt tribute to him and the two other people that were wounded a guy called

00:19:11.820 david dutch another guy called uh james coppenhaver and that james coppenhaver was even going through

00:19:17.420 an operation that day he couldn't be there because he was having yet another operation

00:19:21.680 right so profound profound injuries yeah um i don't think we certainly shouldn't forget that

00:19:27.340 cory fella but even the other two should yeah you remember i mean we shouldn't forget that there are

00:19:33.280 huge numbers of people on the democrat side who think it was staged yeah right sorry a man died and

00:19:38.780 two other people were grievously wounded or think it's good and funny well there yeah well there's

00:19:44.020 plenty of those people yeah those people yeah um but one thing one little criticism i would have is

00:19:52.480 that uh trump after saying some nice words seemed like heartfelt words about it all um said let's have

00:19:58.920 a moment of silence but then they filled the moment of silence with the rendition of ave maria

00:20:04.400 right um i thought that was in slightly bad taste um have a moment of silence which is actually silence

00:20:11.980 or or just play ave maria i don't know that was just very very small criticism i mean they tried

00:20:16.860 they tried their best to do something to do something so i don't really want to criticize

00:20:22.140 so on to the reaction to it um i can't remember this bloke's name off of msnbc but he didn't really

00:20:31.060 like joy reed yeah oh it's a woman

00:20:33.620 well i thought it was eddie murphy put on some weight apparently it's a lady called joy reed 1.00

00:20:42.720 okay i'm reliably informed by msnbc let's play this samson but we begin tonight with the manic

00:20:49.860 bizarre and frankly childish fanboying of donald trump as illustrated by ultimate fanboy elon musk

00:20:56.400 literally jumping up and down on stage with trump during a rally in butler pennsylvania

00:21:01.260 it was not just weird and meme-worthy sparking hilarious online monikers like dork maga and

00:21:07.140 two live coup but also ominous given some of the frankly alarming things musk has been saying

00:21:15.180 but when you look at the people backing trump some of the most noticeable ones notable ones i should say

00:21:21.620 are steeped in this precise moment oh yeah stop playing this now she immediately goes on

00:21:29.680 to talk about apartheid and nelson mandela yeah oh because elon's south africa yeah as a boy

00:21:38.120 he was in south africa so he was somehow responsible he's an african-american isn't he

00:21:42.900 good point he didn't leave till 17 yeah which is good point so it's not like when he was eight

00:21:48.100 he was his formative years were in in africa yeah but anyway so as a boy in africa elon is

00:21:54.760 somehow connected to apartheid yeah i see yeah i see very she's making the point that um you know

00:22:00.260 white people have never really got over the fact that blacks took power in south africa oh really 0.96

00:22:05.840 and now i guess they're bringing back over some sort of old apartheid system i wonder what her

00:22:11.920 opinion is of current south africa i don't can't talk about that right the actual physical

00:22:18.080 state of it i love the way that she's kind of carjacking the raping capital of the world isn't 1.00

00:22:21.400 it yeah but that's only when they have power um like you know most of the you know rolling blackouts

00:22:26.900 but i love the way the implication in this is kind of like yeah elon's going to be advising donald

00:22:30.900 trump on apartheid or something like that yeah yeah sorry what minister for apartheid yeah it's

00:22:36.200 like what are you talking about yeah like uh elon's in donald's ear yeah yeah

00:22:41.120 worm time apartheid was well good donald let's do that again yeah i know it's madness right 1.00

00:22:50.900 that bloke i mean sorry joy reed didn't like it so uh we'll go to another clip oh good seth

00:22:57.440 meyer yeah the interchangeable on nbc late night talk show host that nobody watches yeah um yeah

00:23:04.720 if you play we only watch a few seconds of this but if you play this several media outlets have

00:23:08.680 finally started accurately describing how weird and unhinged donald trump's rallies are

00:23:12.920 and they're also talking to trump's own audience members about why they leave for more on this

00:23:18.080 it's time okay that's enough the whole segment was about that people leave trump rallies early

00:23:23.520 apparently what an embarrassment that is and if that is or isn't true i'm sure it's totally true

00:23:29.580 it's like the lamest sort of angle to try and take right i can't think of a lamer angle yeah

00:23:35.100 got nothing i saw tim paul um and jack sobiak were at the butler pa rally it was just colossal

00:23:40.600 just absolutely packed out oh yeah those photos yeah they were going down the lines of just people

00:23:45.320 queuing to to see trump and uh elon okay well i mean you know i don't know what to tell you

00:23:51.240 if it is true that's common when you have a massive stadium a big stadium full of people

00:23:56.320 loads of people will leave early i've been to hundreds of football games in my time

00:23:59.880 and loads of people leave early in fact i do sometimes because you know the station or the

00:24:03.820 transport system or the car parks will be rammed everyone trying to get out in the exact same

00:24:07.860 moment i've even left a west ham game earlier missed a goal i missed a david beckham goal in

00:24:12.960 the late 90s once because i left five minute early you sound like you're still recording yeah yeah i

00:24:16.620 can't yeah well no it was all right because he scored against west i don't need to see the manx score

00:24:21.520 but yeah you can you hear the shout outside the stadium you know oh no anyway that's just a

00:24:27.960 completely normal thing in fact that speaks volumes about how giant the crowd is that people feel the

00:24:32.360 need to do it anyway it's just what a pathetic angle to take um and uh if you play the next bit

00:24:41.460 of the next link um two years ago when billionaire elon musk bought what was once called twitter he

00:24:48.420 vowed to keep it a non-biased platform in fact that was his mission statement he posted it at the time

00:24:55.260 it must be politically neutral which effectively means upsetting the far right and the far left

00:25:01.240 equally it was a message he repeated frequently in interviews after purchasing the platform

00:25:06.660 the goal of new twitter is to be okay we don't have to play anymore so that whole segment

00:25:13.620 was just about how the left been purged so what it is is they're very very deliberately failing to

00:25:20.500 understand the difference between uh over active censorship and promoting your own views yeah

00:25:27.340 they're deliberately not understanding the difference between those two things well when you've had it

00:25:31.700 rigged um you know for your own side for so long fairness looks like oppression doesn't i have heard

00:25:37.060 that from some leftists yes yes i've heard that yeah yeah um and so i don't know how many people

00:25:43.520 maybe your average msnbc viewer the three or four of them left um will will buy that will buy that spin

00:25:51.720 that angle will just accept what they're being told there but surely most people will be able to say

00:25:57.240 we'll be able to see that there's a difference between you know forcing zuckerberg to because i

00:26:02.200 think his hand probably was forced i don't want to defend i don't want to go to bat for zuck but it 0.85

00:26:06.560 seems like he was forced to do it right yeah i think so um i think a lot of the tech bros were i think

00:26:10.820 a lot of them were kind of more libertarian-esque uh and were just surrounded by woke leftists in

00:26:16.380 california in you know who are you going to hire in california well it's probably going to end up

00:26:20.120 being a woke leftist and so their institutions just filled with these people who are incredibly left-wing

00:26:24.400 and they're like okay but i'm just kind of a live and let live kind of guy i didn't really have

00:26:29.000 strong moral opinions and it takes someone like elon to come along and go yeah i'm a bit autistic

00:26:33.100 i don't care about their opinions this is how we're going to do it uh to lead the way and because

00:26:37.540 i mean jack dorsey was never an excessively woke guy when twitter was first created they called it

00:26:42.340 their little tag was the free speech wing of the free speech party referring to the democrats

00:26:46.400 so they were like oh yeah we're gonna have everything and of course that didn't last very long

00:26:51.140 and yeah the distinction is obvious it's is it being evenly moderated yes does elon musk have

00:26:57.760 his own opinions on who to bag yes i mean everyone else does why shouldn't you're allowed that still

00:27:02.420 yeah i mean every other every other silicon valley business donates stacks of cash to the democrats

00:27:08.460 tim cook is just a democrat activist like sorry is elon not allowed to have his opinion well

00:27:15.200 regardless of the degree to which somebody like zuckerberg was coerced in 2020 i wouldn't say

00:27:21.320 coerced i think but whatever degree of it it was and he just nonetheless influenced there's a real

00:27:27.360 difference between actual censorship and trump promoting what he thinks i'm sorry elon promoting

00:27:36.220 what he thinks yeah yeah they're just terribly upset that he's got 200 odd million followers and you

00:27:42.940 know so but anyway so uh john stewart is pulling the exact same trick do you want to play that samson

00:27:49.180 for us but there was an october surprise this weekend that i did not see coming and that surprise is

00:27:55.520 this elon musk has ups his rocket company is the only reason we can now send american astronauts into

00:28:04.720 john stewart's angle on this is like the embarrassed teenager they're trying to embarrass you over nothing

00:28:10.660 yeah yeah yeah he jumped for joy

00:28:14.260 he's acting like a guy who won a radio contest

00:28:21.280 no i can't believe i get to bid on the washer dryer

00:28:26.680 yeah the world's richest man and one of the most popular people on social media

00:28:32.520 he's got 200 million followers yeah completely organically

00:28:37.700 on his platform yeah 160 or something when he bought it things like

00:28:42.580 hmm

00:28:44.040 and so weak sauce it's nothing yeah he's got nothing he's doing a great job by showing

00:28:52.180 all this to stop yeah from bringing help yeah yeah he tweets that

00:28:56.820 anyway his october surprise is he's come out maga

00:29:00.900 hi everyone as you can see i'm i'm not just maga i'm dark maga

00:29:06.740 yeah stop that you get the point the angle when it was dark brandon it was the coolest thing ever

00:29:15.480 right it's like when you're 13 and you've got slightly not cool enough trainers and your other

00:29:21.140 13 year old friends take the mickey out of you for it and you are embarrassed yeah i i just like no

00:29:26.880 that doesn't work anymore that doesn't work on grown-up men but it also he's doing it doesn't

00:29:31.440 work on people who are just winning continuously yeah correct right he's got 200 million followers

00:29:36.640 yeah he does how many do you have you know like he's doing great you're you've had to come back

00:29:41.120 out of retirement because the democrats were failing without your propaganda it's like okay

00:29:46.880 that still of john stewart kind of says it says it oh it's very telling of what he is yeah elon just sort of

00:29:54.480 you know manly just yeah like a little girl yeah trying to shame you exact same face of stephen

00:30:01.520 colbert and all that it's just yeah vacuous all right i've gone on maybe a touch too long so we'll

00:30:06.640 leave it there but um yeah so hopefully elon will actually be in cabinet even certainly in government

00:30:13.680 in some form should of government should trump win um so i'm looking forward to that for one seems

00:30:20.880 very likely doesn't it um we have loads of uh chance um the shadow band says uh hey just want

00:30:26.880 to give a big thanks to the islander team can't wait to get my copy uh that it should be on its way

00:30:30.480 to you at the moment the the batches have been we're printing in batches now rather than just all at once

00:30:35.280 so one batch has been sent you should get it this week actually uh new unreal says uh mars is the new

00:30:40.080 manifest destiny of the west and elon is the horace greeley of the 21st century who the hell is horace

00:30:44.960 grieving i don't know there was one bit in the speech where donald says um elon has promised me

00:30:51.280 we'll get to mars in my next presidency i think that's maybe a touch optimistic but still yeah

00:30:57.040 still they've both got a view a vision so i'll take that you know we'll just uh you know stanley

00:31:02.560 crew book it um uh if i can't pronounce that says iconic moments are very cool i know it is i i

00:31:10.240 personally i just love uh autist representation and i really appreciate it uh inexio says crazes

00:31:16.800 on the left think shooting of trump was staged by himself and wasn't real again seems a bit risky

00:31:22.400 right i want you to shoot my ear when i turn my head and then then they'll really buy it and it's

00:31:29.360 like well i bought it um it's 100 real because some even said that he when he ducked down and was on the 0.97

00:31:34.560 ground then he got someone or he or someone got some fake blood and put it on and the whole thing's

00:31:38.720 fake but there is another angle yeah where you can see a bullet hole appear in his ear they

00:31:44.800 there it was definitely it was definitely shot from range that has the bullet on it like you know right

00:31:52.560 it's mad there's no way you can fake that there's just no way um also beau don't go to mars we

00:31:59.280 history nerds need you and uh the the shadow band i'll come back i'll come back uh what's the

00:32:04.800 lotus eaters mood on the dartmoor camping thing what i don't know that'll be that's josh's wheelhouse

00:32:10.960 that's yeah i'm afraid i can't i can't i think the person owns loads of dartmoor right wants to ban

00:32:17.200 people camping on it right i think that story's been around for a while i i haven't been in some

00:32:21.760 wranglings with councils and things maybe that's maybe there's a a new angle to that that i'm not

00:32:26.240 aware of right okay i'm not i'm not ask josh the issue ask josh um anyway so i thought we would

00:32:31.840 talk about why elon musk is all in on trump because he has been very vociferous about this

00:32:38.480 recently and i think it's just very interesting how probably without any influence from you know

00:32:44.880 anyone in our spheres elon has arrived at exactly the point that honestly everyone

00:32:51.520 essentially agrees on so this i guess you you could uh say this uh proof for the convergence theory of

00:32:57.600 truth which is just that thing that everyone happens to end up converging on uh it's come to

00:33:02.160 the same point yeah well that must be the true thing if everyone sees it from this angle uh which

00:33:05.920 i think there is definitely um an argument for but before we go on uh go get issue two of islander

00:33:11.920 this is the last week it's going to be gone forever you can't find the articles in there anywhere

00:33:16.560 else as well so go and get it so elon did an interview with tucker karlson now what was the

00:33:22.000 what was the staging bit in the matrix i don't know what you mean you know what i mean where

00:33:28.080 i can't remember what it was called um like you're sort of outside yeah yeah the bit between worlds

00:33:34.800 yeah it felt kind of like that with this entirely like white background um god someone must be able 0.88

00:33:40.640 to know someone must be able to remember um but anyway so i i thought i'd i like tucker but shoes like

00:33:47.280 that with no socks yeah tight trousers as well don't really wear some socks dude yeah yeah anyway

00:33:53.360 but uh but aside from us yeah turning into the teenage girls yeah yeah for being um

00:34:02.320 the construct thank you samson yes like he decided to have an interview with elon musk in the construct

00:34:09.120 uh and but it was a very interesting influence so i took a bunch of clips and i put them on twitter

00:34:14.560 just to do this segment in fact and uh and i thought we'd watch with it so the the first one is

00:34:20.320 where elon stands and it's not very surprising if he loses it's going to be hard for you to pretend

00:34:25.440 you never supported him all in

00:34:34.800 in the deep end yeah no you are definitely in the deep end you cannot touch bottom no no i'm i'm like

00:34:39.680 i'm like rolling around i'm going i'm like a pig in mud i'm like uh it's all in baby is it fun yes

00:34:48.400 we're fun i mean i i i mean there may be some in the hopefully unlikely event that he loses there may

00:34:55.360 be some vengeance uh on me were you kidding i i mean it's possible so uh you can see elon again just

00:35:04.640 just quite just again the freedom that he expresses in the way he delivers his responses i i actually

00:35:10.960 personally really enjoy and what i like that is it funny so yeah it's pretty fun because you can tell

00:35:15.520 he's enjoying going against the oppressive moral power structure of the democrats you can tell that

00:35:20.800 he's like no i'm i'm actually i can i can identify the tyrants i have a method of resisting them and i'm

00:35:26.560 going to do it to my utmost and i'm going to enjoy it because this is not only the right thing to do

00:35:30.480 it's the right time to do it they've actually both got that tucker's the same thing he's

00:35:35.120 exactly the same thing he's obviously not multi multi-billionaire but he doesn't need to prove

00:35:39.040 anything to anyone at all doesn't need anyone's money anymore doesn't need anyone else doesn't

00:35:44.080 rely on anyone else to be famous or anything at all so a true freedom yeah right it's great it's

00:35:51.840 great to see absolutely when it happens and he occupies a station in life that just can't be taken

00:35:56.160 away from he is a father and a husband they can't do anything about that no matter what they say or

00:36:00.400 do they can't do anything and also transcended any sort of normal news anchor oh yeah or any sort of

00:36:05.680 political pundit even you know if you say that someone like joe rogan is like the king of podcasts

00:36:12.320 tucker's like the king of political commentary in a way oh yeah he speaks to whoever he wants

00:36:17.760 ask him whatever he wants millions of people listen don't speak up to putin in the kremlin it

00:36:23.600 happens yeah you know kicking him he's transcended he's transcended yeah kicking him from fox was the

00:36:28.480 best thing that ever happened to him because it afforded him so much more freedom obi-wan kenobi'd

00:36:33.120 it right yeah more powerful than possible yeah and then uh but and yeah fox sort of fades into a

00:36:40.000 relevancy right like all the other ones because he was the most interesting thing about it he was the

00:36:44.720 only reason i'd go to the fox youtube me too me too exactly his personal numbers i'm sure annihilate what

00:36:51.280 fox do absolutely the entire network yeah and absolutely brilliant and the thing is it's not

00:36:56.480 just on twitter either it's also on youtube where he's got millions of followers anything he does

00:37:01.760 so it's you know it's it's good to see that there's been this kind of transcendence from a sort of select

00:37:09.040 group of men who are just and all again they're all sort of like the gen x men who are just like no 0.66

00:37:13.760 actually i'm in a position where i don't have to care you know i'm in a position where i can actually do

00:37:18.000 what i say and think is right and i'm going to enjoy doing it as well because you're right i think

00:37:21.920 tuck is very similar in uh in his attitude here um and it shows throughout this interview anyway so

00:37:28.720 the next one so why why is he all in on trump and i again i just it's remarkable how everyone's coming

00:37:35.360 to the same conclusions on this the potential consequences if you know having gone all in this

00:37:41.040 doesn't work yeah um i mean you had to have thought about this long and hard before you did it what

00:37:47.280 was your thinking i mean yeah so interesting polls my view is is that if trump doesn't win this election

00:38:06.080 it's the last election we're going to have um that uh the democrats the dem machine um has been uh

00:38:16.160 importing so many people bringing in so many illegals flying flying in with this like cvp border app thing

00:38:23.040 and uh there are triple digit increases in illegals to all the swing states and in some cases it's like

00:38:30.080 700 over the last three years now these swing state margins are you know sometimes 10 20 000 votes so

00:38:37.840 what happens if you put you know hundreds of thousands of people into each swing state and he

00:38:45.360 goes on i've i've clipped it down a bit for brevity's sake but he he goes on and i had to clip a few

00:38:50.960 bits out where he like he's he's not in a hurry to deliver his points which is interesting like he's just

00:38:56.640 like sat in there pause and it's literally like 20 seconds he's like no i'm going to prepare my answer

00:39:00.800 and you're just going to wait so again there's a kind of confidence and freedom there right it's

00:39:04.880 just like no i know you need to hear my answer also you know it's not just a soundbite it's not he's

00:39:09.520 yeah he might not have had the question ahead of time and had time to figure out an answer he

00:39:13.680 he's asking him a question in real time and getting a genuine answer in real time um there's a few

00:39:19.520 people you said there's an old uh documentary the ascent of man by jacob bronowski dr jacob bronowski and he

00:39:25.920 in an interview he'd quite often do that someone asked him a complicated question like what is the

00:39:29.520 nature of science or something like that and he'd sit there for quite a while just thinking about

00:39:34.960 what the answer and then come out with some brilliant answer well i respect it right yeah

00:39:39.680 but the but the point is again something that everyone has come to the same position so right

00:39:44.240 they are definitely using illegal aliens to try and swing the vote in their favor they're not 0.98

00:39:50.400 they're no longer making the argument the american people right they know they no longer try to

00:39:55.040 persuade you now it's just right we're just going to literally dump as many of them in your areas as

00:39:58.960 we can and promise them free money that's basically what this comes down and they don't need id to vote

00:40:04.000 they'll all be allowed to vote you know kelvin robinson has moved out to america and he tweeted

00:40:08.800 the other day i've just been asked by the democrats if i'm going to vote for them how could i vote for

00:40:12.400 them i'm not a citizen and yet well they don't care do they they don't care it doesn't matter

00:40:17.680 remember you know you can't have voter id because that's racist the one thing that perplexes me

00:40:23.120 about elon's very accurate assessment obviously of the the mass importation of the illegals and

00:40:28.960 how that will essentially destroy swing states and make them into democrat holds forever is that he's

00:40:36.000 also a very consistent proponent of higher mass legal migration as well and what confuses me about

00:40:44.080 that is that we know that elon certainly has one eye to europe and he can see the plight that we're

00:40:49.680 dealing with here with what you know tons and tons millions of legal immigrants is doing to 1.00

00:40:54.480 our democracies and to our vote i mean there's a reason right that london only ever elects sadi can

00:40:59.120 now right and so i just i just if i could ask him anything that's what i'd ask him why you know

00:41:05.440 does he think that the legal immigrants are also going to because they are essentially

00:41:09.520 a client class of the democrat party a good question there's one criticism i would have of elon

00:41:15.680 is that he went on record i don't know a year ago now or more yeah saying he said there's many and

00:41:19.920 obviously i can obviously everyone knows their politics here so i completely disagree with that

00:41:24.640 yeah there are a couple of things i think are that i think it would be the reason he would give

00:41:29.040 this the first one it's it's a kind of tactical maneuver to um sidestep claims of racism right

00:41:35.200 and ethnic particularity yeah so it's that that's the first reason i think why he's so prominent

00:41:39.360 about it uh but the second i think he would argue well america is a different context to uh europe and

00:41:44.160 the united kingdom in particular uh it's far bigger it's got an incorporated culture it's

00:41:48.720 got the american dream that people buy into and actually has a sort of ideology you can become

00:41:53.600 american through embracing the ideology and the culture um and so and it's something he personally

00:41:58.880 has obviously done so i suppose he would answer something like that i don't think it's a perfect

00:42:04.560 answer but it's better than just not having one but um but that's just me assuming what he would

00:42:10.400 respond with but anyway so what will happen if the democrats manage to win and again it's the same

00:42:17.360 same opinion that i have almost to a word so my prediction is if there's another four years

00:42:22.880 of a demonstration

00:42:27.680 they will legalize so many uh illegals that are there that the next election there won't be any swing states 0.80

00:42:34.400 states and it's and we'll be a single party country just like california is a single party state that's

00:42:42.240 a super majority dem state in california because of immigration yes the california was uh fairly reliably

00:42:51.280 republican bill clinton lost california in 92 and won west virginia yes um so there was a 99 86 amnesty

00:43:02.000 thereafter california trended very strongly dem and is at this point uh i think 65 70 percent dem something

00:43:10.400 like that it's super majority dem but the california legislature yes is more than two-thirds democrat

00:43:15.600 and they california just passed which is shocking it's hard to believe this is even real but california

00:43:21.200 just passed a law making it illegal uh to require border id in any election at all in california

00:43:28.000 so as you can see he's like well this will become a one-party state uh that's essentially the end of

00:43:34.480 democracy and that's bad and so that is how republics dies this sort of thing um i say it all the time but

00:43:41.360 i'll say again when you look at the uh example of the decline of the ancient roman republic it's the

00:43:47.200 type of electoral fraud and bribery and all sorts of these shenanigans and changing demographics and

00:43:53.520 all sorts of skullduggery on all sorts of levels and and your your democracy dies your freedom of

00:43:59.200 expression freedom of speech the nature of any sort of true representation the freedom to choose your

00:44:05.040 own governors which is really what all of the enlightenment was hinged on in the very very

00:44:10.400 beginning of it as you know the dr price was arguing to cashier their kings and choose a government

00:44:16.080 of their own that all dies if the democrats are allowed to do this the idea that you don't need any

00:44:20.560 id to vote i mean you need id to buy a can of beer though you need id to buy a car or most all sorts

00:44:27.760 of things you would need loads of things you need id for loads and loads of trivial things but not to

00:44:33.120 have your say in how the country is run they have no moral problems with id for years and years during

00:44:40.640 covet yeah well yeah and why why do they want it well um he's pretty straightforward about it so

00:44:47.440 my prediction is if there's another four years of a demonstration it's this one

00:44:55.040 is there any reason obviously hypocritical to pass a law like that except to abet voter fraud

00:45:01.120 um it's it's for it's it's it's so that fraud can never cannot be proven so it it enables large-scale

00:45:07.680 fraud and no way to prove it because how would you prove it it's literally impossible

00:45:11.680 no no no id you're not even allowed to show your id the purpose of no voter id is obviously to conduct

00:45:20.080 fraud in elections crystal clear yeah so of course you can't you cannot argue with that there's no

00:45:28.240 other the the important bit about this though is that elon is recognizing the mal intentions behind

00:45:35.680 what the democrats do right they're not doing this for for moral reasons they're doing it for evil

00:45:41.120 and he recognizes and calls them out no you're doing it so you can steal this you're doing it so 0.82

00:45:44.960 you can cheat because you're a bunch of cheats and you can't be trusted uh superb that's the exact

00:45:50.240 position that many people on the right have uh come to and myself included again when i first began 0.97

00:45:55.680 on youtube i was oh well that's a bit naive of them isn't it aren't they just no no they're evil and

00:45:59.680 they're trying to cheat you know and i and of course it's not just to cheat this time to trump

00:46:06.720 it's to become perpetual tyrants of the united states yes right yes and he he actually um does

00:46:13.520 say it'll become an oligarchy and only the democratic primary will matter well democratic primary i mean

00:46:20.000 that's an optimistic well how did that go for kamala this time oh there wasn't one she just got nominated

00:46:26.800 uh and so as you say it'll be it will genuinely be end of republic stuff they've got multiple ways

00:46:32.000 to stitch that up anyway well they remember when biden got the nomination it was everyone

00:46:36.560 a lot of the grassroots people wanted bernie they wanted someone else they didn't really want biden

00:46:41.760 and yet the the machine was able to stitch it up to to get their their puppet their easily pliable

00:46:48.640 speaking of the machine in fact uh elon's well aware of that too there's no point in criticizing

00:46:53.840 it comes she's she's she's simply the the face of a lot a much larger machine yes um and she will

00:47:00.080 say whatever is whatever the the teleprompter whatever's on the teleprompter she's going to say

00:47:05.040 it but she'll just say whatever words are on the teleprompter so you know um it's really whoever

00:47:11.520 controls the teleprompter is the actual sort of those that's who's actually in charge and who is that

00:47:16.240 do you think well i've tried to put it down it's it's not like any one kind of mastermind or maybe it's in

00:47:23.040 it's somewhere north of 100 is what it seems like yes um i bet you know 80 of them i probably

00:47:30.480 know most of them yeah yeah so he's pinned it down in the same way that we have uh there is a cabal

00:47:38.160 a cabal of people who operate the democrat party chuck schumer pelusi are going to be the figure

00:47:42.160 heads of this but there's going to be various people who you don't know because they're behind

00:47:45.600 the scenes in the institution operating the actual levers of power but elon i think he's completely on

00:47:51.440 the money here this is the the mechanism the machine of it and it's working openly to steal

00:47:59.280 elections at this point they're not trying to persuade someone they're not saying vote for us

00:48:02.880 because we're going to make your life better they're literally just trying to jam in as many

00:48:07.600 foreigners to vote as you can and so the question is like why another example of that there's there

00:48:14.080 obviously is a cabal yeah they're doing it yeah um some youtube channels are quite good at this uh where

00:48:19.840 they show that there are multiple different usually media organs are on board with the the line the

00:48:26.800 party line for example weird you know that was one of the most recent ones they decided to describe uh

00:48:32.640 jd vance and just trump and or the whole movement as weird we're going for the high school girl attack

00:48:37.600 on yeah yeah they're just weird aren't they so good i like weird and then you get multiple dozens

00:48:42.640 of uh news anchors and newspapers all going with the exact same take the exact same angle that does come

00:48:49.200 from some sort of uh central mind some sort of central nervous system yeah telling them what to

00:48:54.880 do obviously it does what's remarkable as well is that from the last segment you know the coverage

00:48:59.680 of the news anchors they're sticking to it yeah they're sticking to that word weird they're not

00:49:04.240 dropping thinking yeah that didn't really catch on we'll try it same words what i love about is the

00:49:09.600 people doing it it's like oh really is the san francisco pride parade calling me weird aren't they

00:49:13.920 yeah oh no i'll just have to go back to my wife and kids and console myself bloody weird don't give

00:49:20.400 me that um and so the the question is why why is there the machine what does the machine do why does

00:49:27.360 it do what it does why is it trying to do all of this and elon's pretty spicy over this i'd like to see

00:49:34.160 a matchup of of of those we call it the top 100 puppet masters on the fd client list

00:49:41.280 do you think there's some overlap overlap strong overlap when are we going to see that list do you

00:49:46.080 think i don't know it's it's it's it's mind-blowing that that um that they've not tried to prosecute

00:49:52.880 even one not even the worst offender on on the epstein client list they have not even tried to prosecute

00:49:59.280 even one because that that's insane so for anyone who didn't quite understand there because uh elon

00:50:05.600 does kind of uh mumble a little bit uh he said i wonder what the overlap is with the epstein client

00:50:10.240 list and the hundred people who are controlling the democrat party and he thinks there's a huge amount

00:50:14.960 of overlap that's okay elon bold people like the clintons the obamas the podestas that's basically

00:50:24.640 what he's saying yeah that's yeah the pelosi's the schumers yeah i suppose it's that thing though

00:50:31.120 that as he says correctly this will be the last election if trump doesn't win so if you're not

00:50:35.840 going to say this stuff now when are you going to get to say it last free one otherwise the pedo cabal

00:50:41.520 will be in control i think like rome the roman republic they'll probably go keep going through 0.83

00:50:45.280 the paces pretending it's a real thing for generations yet yeah before there's an actual military

00:50:51.520 coup d'etat and even the the facade of voting is done away with but yeah perhaps the last free

00:50:57.760 honest vote but i i think it's a very bold thing for him to say look there's a pedo cabal that

00:51:02.240 controls the democrat party and they're trying to steal democracy and that's why i support trump

00:51:06.880 because i mean that's a lot of people believe that a lot of people are on side with that oh all

00:51:11.040 hail good king elon yeah the first of his name and uh and then he just starts naming billionaires who

00:51:17.840 he thinks are nervous about being on the epstein list yeah it's amazing will that ever come out do

00:51:22.960 you think you know i think part of why kamala is getting so much support is that uh if trump wins

00:51:32.880 that epstein client list is going to become public yes and some of those billionaires behind kamala are

00:51:39.120 terrified of that outcome yeah do you think reid hoffman's uncomfortable yes and gates and gates

00:51:47.520 yeah and i only ask that because you can certainly just look at them and you're like that that's a

00:51:52.240 nervous person right there i don't know i mean i assume yes uh reid hoffman was my vice president

00:51:58.320 business development at paypal yeah 24 years ago does he seem nervous to you

00:52:08.240 yeah i mean he's terrified of a trump victory because of the disclosure that would follow i think

00:52:18.080 yeah i mean i think he's certainly ideologically not aligned with trump anyway but i think he is

00:52:25.360 concerned about the uh the epstein situation i mean he's literally just saying you know reid hoffman yeah

00:52:31.920 nonce you say no he's an epstein client definitely got something on him same gates it's like jesus elon

00:52:38.720 you know like just to be clear we have no evidence and we don't know but elon knew him for 20 years

00:52:44.480 because he was finding paypal with him so i'm anyway i hope elon has got a very competent security

00:52:51.600 detail right detail yeah yeah yeah anyway i just found uh elon's interview with tucker absolutely

00:52:59.760 fascinating um interesting revelations i hope uh i hope trump wins and i hope anyone's right

00:53:05.760 um ryan says do you think trump will actually release the epstein client list if he wins well

00:53:10.080 i mean elon seems to so i mean i i have no idea i mean the thing is right i've written a couple of

00:53:16.080 articles about epstein and i'd love to see it all come out in the world of course and there are people

00:53:21.760 that were connected to epstein that were genuinely innocent of anything right i think one of the epstein

00:53:26.720 brothers for example uh sorry uh epstein one of the uh weinstein guys the elder one uh someone like

00:53:33.760 stephen hawkins probably wasn't engaged in anything too nefarious not physically capable but trump

00:53:41.440 himself there's many pictures of him standing next to epstein at a party or whatever he was friends

00:53:46.960 with epstein through the 90s and they fell out over a business deal and then uh like a few years

00:53:53.280 afterwards trump started basically saying that epstein's announced yeah i'm not saying trump's

00:53:57.120 done anything wrong that's the point i'm making that there'll be people that are connected with him

00:54:01.600 but didn't do anything yeah so to actually find out exactly who's involved and what they

00:54:07.280 did or didn't actually do so it would be great if that came out yeah so much more buried information

00:54:13.040 as well though because you know obviously rfk jr saying yeah trump would release the files on

00:54:17.920 yeah yeah jfk assassination and if anyone had an interest in getting those out right yeah yeah

00:54:24.480 so basically a lot's on the line for the cabal that controls the democrat party that elon thinks

00:54:29.200 basically just a pedo cabal and he just says it it's okay superb um mcleod says third world countries

00:54:36.400 like jamaica require id yeah absolutely um and conservatives should be ballot harvesting because

00:54:42.160 that's of course how the democrats can do it and uh go with unpronounceable name i didn't say

00:54:46.240 girl i said person with unpronounceable name um uh oh maybe it's girl i don't know australian

00:54:52.000 parliament votes on misinformation and disinformation legislation bill tomorrow in our lower house

00:54:56.160 puppet government run by well ultimately you'll find it goes back to the pedo ring at the democratic

00:55:01.520 party um but anyway we'll we'll leave that there let's uh let's go on all right so uh there's become

00:55:08.160 something of a a new tradition coming about in britain these over these recent years which is

00:55:14.720 every six months or so morrissey will just famous british singer and cultural icon morrissey

00:55:21.680 will just pop out an interview and just sort of leave some incredibly base comments there for the

00:55:27.680 commentariat to you know just talk about yeah and uh well the mad lads done it again uh which i'm thrilled

00:55:37.120 to say but um either of you two just sort of familiar with morrissey's prior comments or his

00:55:43.280 music or i i'm familiar with his political opinions i'm not familiar with his music i was never a fan of

00:55:48.480 the smiths fair enough it's not that it's bad or anything that just not for me yeah um but uh i i just

00:55:53.920 approve of him uh opening his mouth really i was never a massive smiths fan although they've got half a

00:55:59.920 dozen songs that are good but i don't know all their albums inside out or anything but yeah there's a few

00:56:03.840 songs that are good there's a little bit before my time even the smiths a tiny bit it's more like

00:56:09.280 early to mid-80s isn't it really the smiths yeah um and uh and his later music stuff i don't really

00:56:14.560 know at all uh but yeah the smiths have got at least half a dozen pretty damn good songs yes

00:56:20.000 but as for his political views they're brilliant they're great they're great they're really based

00:56:27.120 again we were talking in a previous segment about how someone like elon or tucker

00:56:31.200 um doesn't need to prove anything to anyone anymore they've got enough money and enough

00:56:35.360 fame they don't need any more of that yes so they're truly free to say what they want within

00:56:40.960 reason absolutely um and i think morris is one of those you know he's not really on a par with tucker

00:56:45.280 or elon but nonetheless doesn't need any more money i would have thought yeah doesn't need any more

00:56:51.440 fame doesn't cover fame anymore the thing is with artists is that when when you have like artists who

00:56:57.360 have like jk rowling is the best example of this where jk rowling has a nostalgia factor

00:57:04.160 for millennials right millennials all grew up reading harry potter and they loved harry potter

00:57:09.520 it was you know it was it was their tolkien you know it was just something that made them feel safe

00:57:14.960 and comfortable and loved and so they dive into the world of harry potter and just spend hours reading

00:57:20.080 the books and then jk rowling comes out as a mega turf and they're like oh my god this is the worst stab

00:57:25.360 in the back i can ever imagine so until they kill that kind of cultural impact that jk rowling's had

00:57:30.880 it doesn't really matter what she says or does because at the end of the day you still love the

00:57:34.960 books you still love the books and you've got no choice you know and morrissey's in that sort of 0.56

00:57:38.880 position where it's like there are going to be um you know shit libs who grew up loving morrissey 0.51

00:57:44.400 wearing whatever the makeup was and the fashion and that was their childhood and they listened to the 0.88

00:57:50.000 smith songs and they're back in in there you know in their teenage years and then he comes and says

00:57:54.400 something very based and they're like oh no stab in the back is that kind of feeling right

00:57:59.360 totally uh before i continue the conversation though i should say it's the final week that

00:58:04.240 it's your opportunity to buy issue two of islander magazine uh ah yes over here it's uh yeah the last

00:58:11.760 time in all of history that you can get around on issue because particular article about the marshals

00:58:17.760 middle middle earth farami do like tolkien so yes and there's many other wonderful writers in there

00:58:23.920 i know josh has written a poem for it hasn't he you've written a another piece and yeah you've got

00:58:28.720 um roreg's nationalist and many many great writers in it so yes it's your last chance to uh buy it this

00:58:34.880 week morgoth the stiff among you right distributors there's so many good good good articles yeah anyway

00:58:41.920 um so actually i'd like to come back to your prior point carl about what you were saying about the

00:58:46.160 shit libs sort of getting really angry about because i think in here there is a sort of

00:58:52.160 misunderstanding amongst those who were his leftist fans who always thought that morrissey was one thing 0.64

00:58:59.600 but actually he was always our guy in a way right and and i think that the reason for this is because

00:59:08.400 though uh morrissey's uh political views you know when he was in the 80s uh most of the political

00:59:14.880 things he talked about was his anti-monarchy uh vegetarianism anti-thatcherism these are all very

00:59:21.200 popular left-wing opinions but also from a cultural perspective he liked alan bennett plays and shakespeare

00:59:28.240 and oscar wilde right and these sorts of cultural um quirks as things that you would normally more

00:59:35.760 associate with the middle classes than the working classes but the thing is that morrissey himself

00:59:43.040 growing up lived a very working class life growing up in working class post-industrial slump manchester

00:59:51.200 in the 1960s and so you're looking at a man with very middle class interests but but coming looking at

00:59:59.840 the world from a very working class perspective and i think that what we're seeing now with many of the

01:00:06.000 comments that morrissey has made recently is a bifurcation of the working class fans who have

01:00:13.040 sort of taken mon as a bit of a champion and the middle class fans and guardian readers who despise

01:00:18.160 him with a passion yeah the i mean the the talk i gave the witan metaphor and anti-metaphor is i think

01:00:23.520 very applicable to this because he's very he's very much a metaphorical englishman he's very much within

01:00:28.720 the long continuum of our civilization he loves it he's very proud of britain and he is very proud of

01:00:34.320 everything we've achieved and he clearly has a deep love of it and of course the anti-metaphorical 0.96

01:00:39.600 shit libs uh hate everything about us and therefore hate any champions of those things 0.92

01:00:44.480 and so that's why they hate morrissey absolutely one thing i noticed i've seen morrissey live uh 0.98

01:00:50.080 glastonbury was ever either the very late 90s or the early 2000s at some point and morrissey was on

01:00:54.800 and his fans were chanting his name but in a football chant way yeah which is quite a working

01:01:00.320 class thing to do you wouldn't have middle class bourgeois people with their sandwiches and flasks 0.93

01:01:06.000 chanting like that yeah and i know i've seen him on record saying he likes it he likes that oh yeah

01:01:10.880 wouldn't you yeah why wouldn't you but it's in a baldy morrissey it's in it's in a very uh yeah a

01:01:17.360 working class fashion right um the other thing is i don't know if you remember this he used to be

01:01:21.680 really close friends with russell brand do you remember this then they fell out oh did they fall

01:01:26.320 well they basically don't read anything right russell brown become a very uh left-wing person

01:01:31.200 russell brown's on a strange arc back towards the right now so maybe maybe reconciliation yeah

01:01:36.800 but uh the latest thing that morrissey has done to champion the people of england is really this here

01:01:43.360 that uh morrissey claims release of new album gagged over song about the 2017 manchester arena bombing

01:01:51.760 now uh i've heard him sing this song live which is the only way you can access it right now because

01:01:57.600 it says it's not been published on the album yeah and the name of it is right there yes bonfire of the

01:02:04.480 teenagers which is of course a very provocative title but but the thing is as well with uh when i saw him

01:02:14.640 do this live he said nobody sings about england anymore and essentially the plight of england

01:02:22.400 right he he realizes that the english people have been left behind in their in their own home but

01:02:29.040 also something as well that obviously with it being in manchester and um if i could ask someone to go to

01:02:35.280 the next one do i so i'll do oh thank you um this was the facebook post that morrissey wrote the day after

01:02:43.360 the attack and also yes may 22nd which was the day of the terror attack was also the day of morris's

01:02:50.720 birthday and he was in manchester at the time so i'll just read a little bit of it celebrating my

01:02:55.920 birthday in manchester as news of the manchester arena bomb bomb broke the anger is monumental for

01:03:02.400 what reason will this ever stop theresa may says that attacks will not break us but her own life is 0.96

01:03:09.040 lived in a bulletproof bubble and she evidently does not need to identify any young people today

01:03:14.960 in manchester morgs also will not break us means that the tragedy will not break her or her policies 0.85

01:03:23.120 on immigration and so morrissey just totally cuts the crap right and just says no the manchester arena

01:03:31.600 bombing was a direct result of the british government's continuous policy immigration 0.99

01:03:38.640 policies right if they hadn't have um continuously uh continued them then we wouldn't be in this state

01:03:46.320 where we are now and so but the guy was a british citizen though luca don't you know

01:03:51.280 the guy that did it was just a welshman yeah he had he had a british passport so what you're saying

01:03:56.080 doesn't make any sense though yeah uh touche but uh yeah no it's it's nonsense it's nonsense i'm

01:04:03.120 playing the weirdo left the weird leftist yes um um but ofcom bo is our resident yeah winger

01:04:11.360 of course morrissey is right yeah uh it's the ultimate thing that we're not allowed any indignation 0.96

01:04:17.760 having your children blown up and burnt um yeah a massacre of the innocents or a bonfire of the

01:04:24.320 teenagers yes you're not allowed to really talk about it or or remember it certainly not have any

01:04:30.160 indignation don't look back in anger no men true men like morrissey say no to that yes no never yes

01:04:38.400 absolutely well just so that uh we and everyone who's listening are all on the same page i've actually

01:04:43.760 got here if we go to the next one the lyrics for the song so uh the camera's a bit in the waves oh thank

01:04:51.440 you uh bonfire with teenagers which is so high in may northwest sky oh you should have seen her leave 0.77

01:04:58.880 for the arena on the way she turned and waved and smiled goodbye goodbye and the silly people sing 0.99

01:05:06.160 don't look back in anger and the morons sing and sway don't look back in anger i assure you that i will 0.99

01:05:13.120 look back in anger till the day i die and then this chorus sort of repeats so i'll oh but also the very 0.99

01:05:20.800 end go easy on the killer obviously said with you know i said irony but yeah very powerful like a

01:05:31.280 sledgehammer another song those lyrics really just because i've never actually heard the song but i

01:05:36.320 wrote an article a while ago saying it was called look back in anger yeah and in that i wrote explicitly

01:05:43.280 don't tell me not to look back in anger right i'm going to look back in anger don't tell me that um

01:05:49.920 and obviously on morrissey morrissey are on the same absolutely same wavelength absolutely yeah

01:05:54.800 also whether morrissey is aware of it or not i thought that it would be an absolutely appropriate

01:06:00.880 thing to just bring up as well certainly something that connor has you know talked about at length

01:06:05.760 which is in his tomlinson talks how the government gaslights you where he talks about this whole

01:06:10.880 narrative of don't look back in anger is a pre-packaged plan concocted by the government by

01:06:18.320 uh raiku and the prevent programs at the home office who have a predetermined no in the event

01:06:25.120 that some of these english children do happen to die at a pop concert this is how we're going to 1.00

01:06:30.640 handle the situation they're literally going to get the parents up to be like don't be racist

01:06:35.840 jesus christ but when it comes to talking about the legacy of colonialism or slavery

01:06:40.000 then look back in anger then do nothing but look back in it yes okay all right yes or so yes events

01:06:47.440 that happened 200 years ago get incredibly angry about or foreign conflicts in russia ukraine or israel

01:06:54.080 palestine feel very strongly about them either way but your own people your own children don't look back

01:07:02.080 in anger a key pillar of islam and to some lesser extent judaism is looking back in anger that's 0.87

01:07:07.440 what there's a key element to it i mean in islam they they self-flagellate over over uh killings 0.97

01:07:14.640 and battles that happened centuries and centuries ago looking back with sorrow and anger and regret

01:07:19.760 and indignation and all sorts of emotions that's what the sunny sheer splits is about it's about the

01:07:24.720 the political injustice that happened to ali the grandson of muhammad brett weinstein flipping

01:07:30.720 off the the arch of titus yeah it's okay but these are he can look back in anger about that can he

01:07:36.240 these are political events from over a thousand years ago but it's just i don't know yeah right

01:07:42.240 you despair for it but i've got some comments here that i i did take out from uh the interview that

01:07:47.760 morrissey gave and one of the things that he said was uh the manchester arena bombing was our 9-11

01:07:54.080 but in this sad country of ours of ours to understand the full meaning of the attack is to

01:07:59.120 be guilty and this is why the don't look back in anger command always struck me as derisive and not

01:08:06.080 at all words of social harmony uh and then there was another quote where he said controversial means 0.99

01:08:11.600 intelligent doesn't it we're still in the grip of idiot culture it's everywhere you look naturally i'm 0.98

01:08:17.840 one of the first to be gagged since my entire life has relied on free speech no i wouldn't remove the 0.99

01:08:23.760 title song because i wouldn't abandon the murdering kids of manchester their spirits cry out every

01:08:30.320 single day for remembrance and recognition well done here here i've not this is all new to me yeah

01:08:38.080 that's bloody brilliant yeah well yeah that's one of the i thought it was a more emotional man that

01:08:42.320 would bring it here tomorrow right uh yeah it's powerful stuff and you can tell that again he

01:08:48.960 is uncompromising in it you know he could i'm sure the rest of the album is very good but no this is

01:08:57.040 what he you know as a man of principle this is what he wants to stick his mask mask to you know this is

01:09:02.240 where it all comes so yeah if we go to the the next one thanks uh yeah one just a quick thing to note

01:09:11.120 as well morrissey vocal uh yeah defender of tommy robinson says that he's been trekked shockingly

01:09:18.720 by the establishment obviously true yeah um obviously true uh and then here i thought that we'd just

01:09:26.240 go through the next piece thank you go scroll down because this is warm in that arena right you're

01:09:33.760 laughing at oh i was i was really laughing at the headline yeah yeah yeah this now this to me really

01:09:39.520 comes back to what i was saying at the beginning about how they never understood him yeah right

01:09:44.160 because obviously right this is just some anarchist rag okay never heard of it but you know our enemies

01:09:50.720 have compiled all of morris's greatest hits for us yeah i mean i'm just looking at this now like

01:09:56.240 this isn't just an aging old man sliding into simmering bitterness and racism typical of many elderly

01:10:00.560 brits that's right just condemn them all uh since the start of his career morrissey has been

01:10:04.240 outspoken against multiculturalism and immigration citing his fears of a threatened english identity

01:10:09.120 so he's been on the money long before the rest of us right right okay these songs at the top

01:10:14.560 here that uh it took bengalian platforms uh england for the english which is a lyric from uh

01:10:20.560 his song the national front disco and christ and uh asian rut all of these songs came out from

01:10:29.760 99 sorry 1988 to about 1992 so they're before blair or mass immigration and i won't go too much into

01:10:40.080 what he's saying in each song but the point is that he is documenting through his mute music the fact

01:10:47.440 that there is existing now ethnic tensions right it's great honestly i knew you'd enjoy when you look at

01:10:55.120 edock powell it's back in the 60s yeah so yeah yeah yeah i love the way he kind of sounds like

01:11:01.200 academic agent right morrissey famously said all reggae is vile so yeah that sounds like an aa tweet 1.00

01:11:08.000 yeah um i did sorry i might have been a bit of a how do i scroll this one it's around oh thank you

01:11:13.680 else is on that screen then oh i see yeah yeah i got here um so on immigration this is just further in

01:11:21.520 this piece uh in the early 2000s morrissey publicly lamented that england is a memory now

01:11:28.400 the gates are flooded uh in language reminiscent of goebbels he moaned on travel to england and you

01:11:35.520 have no idea where you are uh some parts that is definitely true right john cleese goebbels morrissey

01:11:42.560 yeah they're basically the same party same party the same guy yeah all of them in like the predator

01:11:49.200 handshake london is an english city yes uh this one just is honestly it's one of his most tame ones

01:11:56.000 but just on sadiq khan london is debased the london of mayor mayor of london tells us about

01:12:02.160 neighborhood policing what is policing he tells us london is an amazing city what's amazing this is

01:12:09.040 the mayor of london and he cannot talk properly i saw an interview where he was discussing mental

01:12:14.400 health and he repeatedly said mental he could not say the words mental health the mayor of london

01:12:21.200 civilization is over i just want morrissey to be put on tv when we win morrissey gets his own

01:12:28.560 half hour bbc segment every sunday yeah he gets to say whatever he likes i can minister without portfolio

01:12:34.720 yeah yeah right right um i mean there's other stuff in here as well where they they talk about

01:12:41.600 you know because obviously his militant uh animal rights advocacy and stuff but that's made him very

01:12:46.960 outspoken critic of kosher and halal meat and sauce and all those sorts of things as well but just a

01:12:53.600 quick thing as well all of this is just essentially the traditional english attitude yes all just completely

01:12:59.680 because i mean like someone say oh right you're you're a member of peter no i bet he hates peter

01:13:03.680 you know it's just a traditional english love of our pets and our animals you know there's nothing

01:13:08.480 because i mean like one thing i can't stand is watching videos coming out of china or something

01:13:12.880 seeing them treat animals in the way they do i hate it that's why morrissey called the chinese 1.00

01:13:17.040 a sort of species i'm not saying that um i don't endorse everything he said but it's i can see the impulse

01:13:23.920 right yeah yeah so all his views are just actually normal english views reasonable views right they're

01:13:31.840 the views of a person who doesn't want their entire culture and heritage and country annihilated

01:13:37.120 around them yeah that's all it is yeah what a big ask yeah hey uh if it's not too much i know

01:13:48.240 this was the last bit i took because just for the sheer deliciousness of you you can tell the person

01:13:53.920 hated writing this that as the father of manchester heralded by anglophiles around the world morris's

01:14:00.720 views have a huge impact i love this is such an immediate contradiction manchester is famously

01:14:07.440 multicultural cosmopolitan and has thrived as a result it has seen violent attacks by islamist 1.00

01:14:14.960 extremists and far-right terrorists oh that thing's going great it's faced rising levels of poverty it has

01:14:21.440 become the gay capital of britain it has welcomed refugees and asylum seekers hundreds have arrived

01:14:27.920 and left including morrissey it's like but you just said it was brilliant and multicultural and it's

01:14:33.680 thriving which is why why it's yeah unbelievable yeah yeah the i didn't add it in here but the

01:14:41.520 demographics of manchester currently as well as it's 48 british uh obviously back when morrissey was born

01:14:48.880 there in 59 i suspect it was quite different yeah it says manchester's famously multicultural and

01:14:55.040 cosmopolitan only in the last couple of decades because it's been forced that way because tony

01:14:59.360 never used to be at all no you can go back and look at footage not even from the 50s like the 70s

01:15:04.800 the 80s and 90s i bet it was still mostly largely english yeah actually yeah yeah um so yeah he says uh

01:15:11.600 british cities have become in fact it's fine i won't carry on with that that it's just more

01:15:16.240 whinging but yeah i i just thought that oh and then i just thought we'd get some words from the

01:15:21.840 man himself uh just for a little bit now the labels are quite bloodless they will just get rid of you

01:15:30.000 if you say anything that they don't agree with they're not they won't see you through the journey

01:15:34.640 anymore no no no they're not interested they're not and that's you know that now they talk all about

01:15:38.880 oh we must have diversity diversity diversity which is people diversity is people that you don't know

01:15:44.640 and it just means it's just another word for conformity it's the new way of saying conformity

01:15:50.880 diversity you don't see anything diverse anywhere it's all conformity it's having the opposite effect

01:15:56.640 in fact it is because when people talk about diversity they don't think about the great things

01:16:02.000 that we don't have in common and those things are ignored and they always made countries very

01:16:09.280 interesting because you could travel to germany you could see the most incredible culture you go to

01:16:13.600 italy see the most incredible culture now they just want everything to be the same the same yeah so

01:16:19.760 diversity means conformity it doesn't mean let's it doesn't mean avant-garde or let's make really

01:16:27.040 interesting strange art it means box everybody yeah diversity i think is a dreadful word pin it to

01:16:35.840 anything and that situation is finished it's a terrible yeah that right there superb yeah he's

01:16:43.920 not wrong it's in any way shape or form it's it is a it's a it's a way of saying i agree with the

01:16:49.680 homogenous over culture that's all it is yeah there's you know there's nothing like nothing avant-garde about

01:16:56.640 it of course diversity just means less nativeness yes doesn't it it's not about actual diversity

01:17:04.720 decentralized truly diversity yeah the word has been completely co-opted and corrupted

01:17:10.160 it's nothing to do with actual diversity it's an ideological signifier now yeah the british isles

01:17:15.680 before mass immigration were diverse in the english and scots the irish and the welsh right that is was 0.95

01:17:21.200 our form of diversity but they want multiculturalism but not our culture right our culture isn't part of 0.83

01:17:27.040 that multi-culture you you saw this when they uh there was some fashion magazine shoot and it was

01:17:33.760 heralded as the most diverse one ever it was all black women but that's monoculture i've seen that a 1.00

01:17:39.200 number of times a number of different faces diversity is one and there's no white faces well there's not even

01:17:44.880 any like other like people around the world it's just here's a bunch of african women it's like 1.00

01:17:50.400 that's not that's the opposite of a diversity i mean if it was just white women or asian women or 1.00

01:17:54.640 something like yeah that's not diverse either you know but anyway there's no point getting into it

01:17:58.240 it's obviously just a lie anyway yeah but i thought we'd just yeah close with those words from the man

01:18:03.280 himself and yeah so i would but i would just take the opportunity to be vocal uh for morrissey because it's

01:18:10.640 important actually that this album bonfireable teenagers uh does get put on shelves it's

01:18:17.120 important that the memory of those children is kept alive that we do look back in anger and we

01:18:22.720 don't settle for what the government intends for us and yeah morris is very much at the head of that

01:18:28.160 in his own way superb all right uh let's go to the video comments

01:18:32.480 labor and the democrats need a new symbol and i suggest the condom it allows inflation halts 0.98

01:18:44.160 production destroys the next generation protects a bunch of dicks and gives a false sense of security 0.99

01:18:51.440 while being screwed that was a continuation of our david lamientations david lamie is worse than the 0.96

01:18:59.760 clap because in the end the clap is preventable treatable and ultimately curable david lamie is

01:19:07.120 none of those things nothing there to object to or disagree with no that's one of the funniest

01:19:20.080 seeing how our country is so flat most of our ancient settlements and castles have been raised

01:19:26.320 up on these man-made hills we've got them all over the place and the one you're seeing now is being

01:19:33.360 dated to first century bc it's a great source of archaeological knowledge and a great source of lovely views

01:19:47.520 your classic technique like the norman uh motten bailey can literally build your castle

01:20:00.960 on higher ground physically dominate the landscape yeah that was beautiful oh yeah let's go to the next

01:20:07.760 one i would like to present a very short video essay about disney shills

01:20:18.240 concise and to the point yeah yeah and uh does express itself correctly uh was there another one or is

01:20:40.160 that the last one it's the last one right yeah i i stream with mr h of uh nate off of mr h reviews a fair bit

01:20:46.640 we talk about all sorts of disney related things bob eiger related things i think and yeah the amount

01:20:51.840 god the industry of pro disney shilling out there is mad it's really weird hey well disney i think i

01:20:59.520 could summon an argument in your defense uh get in contact i'll show for you

01:21:05.440 the right amount of yeah yeah exactly yeah yeah no that is what it is yeah yeah yeah i've got bills to

01:21:11.280 pay you know uh screw tape laser says uh most british looking panel carry on gentlemen

01:21:16.400 thank you very much uh jimbo says three t-shirts arrived and they're very good quality instead of

01:21:20.640 something that's just been ironed on how refreshing yeah that was another thing as well i've obviously

01:21:24.080 got a bunch of the uh shirts from the uh the let's see the store and they are actually really nice

01:21:28.480 quality shirts um which is important because i've had a bunch of shirts from other stores are just

01:21:32.880 terrible and it really annoys me uh lots of people saying um glad see luca back well just summarize

01:21:39.840 all of those thank you um which i'm sure everyone's uh glad see everyone's happy with them back uh

01:21:45.360 someone online said uh californians banned voter id yep we covered that with elon uh furious dan says

01:21:50.800 to vote in canada you need to provide not just id but proof of address jeez christ proof of address

01:21:56.000 um and all the ballots are on paper uh for a place venerated by leftists we have a lot of policies

01:22:00.320 they screech against uh justin says there may be some people that leave early from a trump rally

01:22:05.920 but at least they actually turn up in the first place how's it going for kamala well there's there's

01:22:09.840 a strange uh desperation around the kamala rallies like she's only done a couple and they were they

01:22:15.280 were well attended but you could tell it was like lots of people like oh no i have to do i have to go

01:22:19.600 right and so it's you know whereas the the trump people seem to really want to go uh which is nice

01:22:25.040 and you know the other thing a lot of trump's voters are a bit older it's like sorry you christen

01:22:29.520 some 65 year old dude for going walking out a bit early i'm not surprised so it was from a couple of

01:22:34.800 slop accounts but it's difficult to actually purge your timeline on twitter entirely from stop

01:22:39.280 accounts or it seems to be for me anyway uh so you end up seeing them i have seen a few images of

01:22:44.720 kamala rallies and yeah there's the classic dysgenic freaks yeah exactly kind of exactly what you would 1.00

01:22:52.480 think the coalition of the spiteful mutants weirdo spiteful mutants yeah i feel myself aging every

01:22:57.600 time i listen to her you know it's just it really takes a toll on you oh yeah she's yeah um warlord

01:23:03.840 wootu thai says they fixed it once they will do it again if they get away with it the american

01:23:07.360 republic is doomed well i at the uh the trump rally um butler uh one of trump's son's wife has been uh

01:23:16.400 training people to be election watchers apparently they've trained 200 000 people to know how to

01:23:21.200 properly watch the elections and stuff like that so we'll see if they get away with it this time but

01:23:25.200 we'll be covering it live on the 5th of november so uh we'll watch them steal it in real time

01:23:29.760 that'll be fun yeah look out for that stream oh all night counter stopped yeah yeah we are the

01:23:34.560 counts are stopped oh look another a massive ballot dump has come in what a shock we're we're ready we

01:23:40.000 know what we're looking for uh omar says according to the left trump policy will only benefit billionaires

01:23:45.040 like himself suddenly many billionaires are turning into philanthropists and joining team kamala

01:23:49.200 hmm curious i tell you i can't get over elon being like yeah it's a bunch of billionaire pedos from

01:23:54.080 epstein's list to backing kamala because we're going to expose them it's like this is sound like

01:24:00.240 q anon stuff this is the thesis of q anon isn't it um just i do hope he's got close protection yeah me

01:24:08.640 too yeah yeah for real yeah because i mean he's naming names like yeah yeah what was the guy's name

01:24:14.000 again gates and um guy he founded paypal with oh i can't remember the name of the guy now but it's like

01:24:20.640 i mean it seemed like he was saying look i've known that guy for a long time and i know he's

01:24:23.920 into that sort of thing you know so it's just like anyway uh man of kent says as much as i want trump

01:24:31.040 back in the white house the reporting that it was biden who was pushing starman to relinquish chagos

01:24:36.000 islands by threatening our so-called special relationship is this possibly evidence that

01:24:40.000 the fortification of the election has already begun uh no i don't think that's evidence that the

01:24:43.920 fortification of the election has begun although it obviously has i think they just do that because

01:24:48.800 they hate britain and want to dismember us entirely uh biden in particular hates britain yeah i'm irish

01:24:56.640 it's like sure you are biden sure you are you weren't born in ireland don't have an irish passport

01:25:01.520 can't speak irish yeah hi hyper cat you're not irish dude yeah catholic biden bring back roe v wade

01:25:08.080 and yeah yeah there's a few great videos on youtube you can find of actual irish people from the republic of

01:25:12.640 ireland taking the absolute piss out of americans that are calling themselves irish that have come over

01:25:17.120 from boston for a week and really ripping them apart so you're not irish you're not irish okay 0.90

01:25:23.920 anyway uh crumpets tm says what people often miss with uh immigration in u.s elections is that

01:25:30.000 regardless of the new if the new arrivals vote at all the increasing the population of the state

01:25:34.240 increases their weight with the electoral college that's a great point that i didn't even think

01:25:38.240 about actually um because it's done per capita and so this is why california is waiting uh so much

01:25:46.080 because of course they're just like bringing millions millions california is like 65 million

01:25:49.840 people now it's about the same size of britain in this one state funny how all those democrat states

01:25:54.880 are suddenly going to stand per capita well elon elon totally nailed it it's they know that they're

01:26:00.640 doing this in order to rig the demographics of democracy rather than trying to persuade the

01:26:05.440 people that already exist because their arguments are ridiculous and why would you vote for it 0.83

01:26:08.720 um josep says the same people who lecture you about ableism are mocking an autistic man for being

01:26:13.440 socially awkward yeah that's another great point i didn't even think exactly you know part of the

01:26:20.320 enduring uh charm of elon is that he is a bit autistic it's like yeah but i thought you guys

01:26:26.320 were all about acceptance so we're about acceptance until it's not our guy that's what it is exactly

01:26:32.800 um george says i honestly didn't expect elon to fully endorse trump he was a normally lefty but he took

01:26:37.920 plenty of abuse for removing twitter's sjw bias plus he lost his son to wokeness which would be enough

01:26:42.480 motivation for any parent yeah that's a big one i've seen him say on record that you know that's

01:26:48.160 a deep deep scar yeah uh deep scar i think even i think i've even seen him say i'm going to war with

01:26:55.200 oh yeah he said he's going to destroy the woke mind right godspeed um yeah godspeed yeah yes but i tell

01:27:01.760 you what i'm just saying if they did that to one of my sons i'd be i mean i'm like that anyway and i'm

01:27:06.320 i haven't even lost a son so uh yeah i know i'm very much so arizona desert rat says musk is gen x and

01:27:13.600 gen x tends to be a bit feral i know that was our best quality um that's why the last of the feral men

01:27:18.480 yeah but no no literally with the last not domesticated men right because we're just

01:27:24.320 essentially unsupervised uh my childhood was completely go and play out yeah exactly for until

01:27:30.880 it's dark yeah and whatever happens out there it's on you yeah exactly no mobile phone yeah

01:27:35.680 you'll be nothing yeah exactly no mobile phone i hope you've got 10p so you can call home if you

01:27:40.400 really need to yeah like yeah zoomers have no idea what i'm talking about i'm very grateful that i just 0.64

01:27:46.720 got to experience that yeah yeah just but um yeah no it's there's there's something quite ennobling about

01:27:54.960 it right you know yeah you learn to sort of fend for yourself at least to some extent but it's also

01:28:00.320 like we learn to lose you learn to get beat up once or twice yeah right you learn life you learn what

01:28:04.960 real life is like a bit it is the gen xers who are not afraid of being non-conformists right like the 1.00

01:28:12.080 millennials are just complete conformists and they're afraid of having group opinion against them i'm like

01:28:17.920 yeah if i if i was afraid of that i wouldn't have anything you know but uh let's get some morrissey

01:28:25.200 comments uh kevin says uh the problem with the music industry is they hide their true opinions

01:28:29.920 an example raging machine who were bought and paid for followers of the machine uh well that's not

01:28:34.240 ranging this machine hiding their true opinions raging machine have always been insane leftists

01:28:39.360 right from day one and all it proves is that the machine has become such a leftist organization

01:28:45.200 the rage against machine like yeah this is exactly what we wanted all along it's like okay well there

01:28:49.120 we go killing in the name of the great leap forward yeah basically yeah yeah uh charlie says regarding

01:28:57.840 morrissey i very much doubt that he's gone based uh well just saying from a few of the uh i think he's

01:29:04.240 a complicated man you can be based on some things and not on others i think you can be a theater lovey

01:29:09.440 and very much dislike pakistanis right there was that quote i'm not just making that up yeah no no

01:29:16.720 he said i i don't hate pakistanis i dislike them a lot i dislike them immensely it's like immense so 0.99

01:29:23.440 you can be that anna theater lovey who sings yeah you can be both things that's kind of one of the

01:29:28.480 reasons why i find the breath of fresh air because even though i disagree with him on the vegetarianism and

01:29:32.960 the the anti-monarchist stuff he's not ideological right he's anti-ideology he just he has a view

01:29:40.080 and these are views he's held all his life and yes some of them might not fit into a textbook of what

01:29:45.200 is not traditionalist or but he but he's on our side right when it comes to the big questions

01:29:50.960 he's undoubtedly on our side i think he's a bit of a contrarian as well oh yes i saw that with russell

01:29:56.160 brand if you said that to him he'd probably go um no i'm not actually yeah i don't know god knows but

01:30:00.720 it's like in history when you try and get a handle on any sort of historical figure

01:30:04.240 sometimes people there's some people that are very very complicated yeah and they're not one

01:30:08.560 thing or another and they change their mind over time and they're a contrarian

01:30:13.120 i think morris is one of those people for sure yeah difficult to get a handle on exact he isn't one 0.71

01:30:18.160 thing no i don't think but he said some pretty base shit over the years so yeah i'll take that and on

01:30:24.800 that note uh we are out of time so do join us again in half an hour when luke will be joining us

01:30:29.520 for a roundtable discussion on the subversion of tolkien and after that we'll be back tomorrow
