Good afternoon and welcome to the podcast of the Lotus Eaters episode 1240.
00:00:09.660
It's just a two-man today, should be good, should be a bit more relaxed.
00:00:13.760
We'll be talking about the sad and tragic Minneapolis school shooting,
00:00:22.700
and I'll be going over how you're not going to be able to sweep the Epstein case under the rug,
00:00:27.600
no matter how much you try, people have been trying to for almost six years now,
00:00:31.880
and we're not going to forget, and we certainly won't forgive.
00:00:34.580
For all of you watching on YouTube, could you please, if you feel inclined,
00:00:39.840

00:01:26.900
I'm not going to be the only Lotus Eaters guy there.
00:01:30.480
So you get the chance to enjoy some good music and have a chat with me,
00:01:38.920
and you can use my code LOTUSPASS to get a fiver off the ticket,
00:01:51.540
I've got my own channel, History Bro, I never mention enough.
00:01:54.160
And a new thing with Nate, the State of Politics, another YouTube channel.
00:02:01.060
and he's still getting a shout-out on the channel.
00:02:05.420
And with that, let's move on to something a bit less fun.
00:02:10.380
So, a tragedy happened in America yesterday as a school in Minneapolis,
00:02:21.000
was attacked by a deranged, probably schizophrenic, insane, evil school shooter
00:02:34.600
but 17 of them were injured and sent straight to hospital.
00:02:41.800
an eight- and a ten-year-old, are confirmed to have died.
00:02:48.860
and the rest of them seem to be in stable condition,
00:02:51.500
according to what I was told right before we came on.
00:02:58.100
But let's explore and discuss what's been going on with this.
00:03:01.380
So there is a lot of information going around right now,
00:03:04.760
and a lot of different people are using this tragedy
00:03:07.540
to try and push one narrative that the shooter was doing it
00:03:23.180
takes away from the actual personal sufferings and tragedies
00:03:27.540
I mean, at least two families have lost their children
00:03:32.640
and the rest of the families are having to suffer through
00:03:39.840
or even just been involved in the incident in the first place.
00:03:48.000
this is quite a bad sign of where culture is right now,
00:04:00.780
related to him when he went and did the shooting.
00:04:21.840
He changed from Robert to Robin when he was 17.
00:04:24.660
The document itself said that he was identifying himself as female.
00:04:44.720
and I think has been confirmed to have been Robin Westman,
00:04:53.380
The school had only just started the new school year.
00:04:56.580
The side of the building where the shooter approached
00:05:08.980
toward the children who were sitting on the pews.
00:05:19.020
Robert Westman had shot himself in the car park
00:05:27.500
Investigators said that they were still processing the scene,
00:05:37.780
So, some relations from the actual shooter here,
00:05:44.500
weird age to be going up and shooting up a school
00:06:05.300
as she had done a voluntary resignation from it.
00:06:08.760
So, we know that there are multiple connections
00:06:12.000
which explains why he might have chosen to target this.
00:06:22.180
I mean, because I don't know anything about this.
00:06:44.080
I don't know if there's anything in here showing that.
00:07:14.140
many people have issues with the trans community,
00:07:37.560
Again, saying that this is just another example
00:07:54.520
given that a Catholic school was targeted here,
00:08:22.460
probably because of the ideological implications of it.
01:33:14.660
oh yeah you are absolutely right there aren't any
01:33:28.640
have to give that a read no video comments all right then i guess
01:33:32.220
we'll do the website comments then i'll go through these
01:33:35.400
would you like me to read yours as well bo if you wouldn't mind there's crazy
01:33:41.160
omar awad harry gonna be a light and fun one today harry 30 seconds later so
01:33:47.220
i did misspeak a little bit there but it was only two the rest of them hopefully will recover
01:33:53.200
it was a reasonably heavy podcast today though right um a mass shooting uh epstein stuff
01:34:01.080
and the rape of britain yeah yeah i was more talking about a barrel of laughs i was more
01:34:08.040
talking about our interpersonal dynamic oh all right that's i didn't i didn't mean to mislead
01:34:13.460
anybody uh a miller sorry on rumble rants planes are cooler than cars the septicons win
01:34:19.860
that you're perfectly entitled to that opinion uh zesty king if only there was some
01:34:26.500
characteristic this person uh had this is relating to the um school shooter which could
01:34:31.780
have told us they were mentally unwell if only i know it's like they literally broadcast
01:34:36.660
it to the world and make you submit to it illegal truth the sky news explainer article
01:34:42.900
gave all the details of the shooting and the attacker but not once was the word trans used
01:34:46.840
same with all their live reporting as well yeah it seemed as soon as social media picked
01:34:50.480
up on this and realized hold up this doesn't look like any kind of woman that i'm familiar
01:34:55.060
with they kind of had to switch the reporting and move it back on to um uh being a bit more
01:35:02.000
truthful about this person's identity lena v according to a cnn report the shooter apparently
01:35:07.460
said or wrote before the shooting that he has bugs in his skin that's written in the coded
01:35:12.720
journal this might be an indication that he actually was schizophrenic it's sad he still
01:35:18.580
went and did something awful yet in the journal the day of he said he couldn't sleep because
01:35:24.980
he had bed bugs biting him all night but the day before he said he had bugs in his skin so
01:35:31.040
it seems that he literally literally was like hallucinating bugs like crawling and biting him
01:35:38.620
chance from canada the image of him shooting at the picture of jesus indicates to me this man
01:35:43.100
committed the unforgable sin of blasphemy against the holy spirit and he is likely burning in hell
01:35:47.280
as we speak i would imagine the murdering children would be enough to earn him that to begin with
01:35:52.920
math you're in a possible counterpoint the mother didn't necessarily need to be supportive to sign
01:35:59.280
off on the name change that's true i did hear i did read from people in forums though that apparently
01:36:05.560
it's a very progressive catholic school where some of the parents were complaining that some of the
01:36:11.380
priests were too fundamentalist so i i maybe kirk not sure how people can claim he was right wing
01:36:18.600
when he had f trump written on the barrel of his gun the most i think they could claim with all the
01:36:23.220
anti-semitic stuff as well would be that he was a griper but i don't think there's any evidence for
01:36:27.360
that either he seems to have just been a schizo insane person throwing shit at the wall arizona
01:36:33.560
desert rat what i don't get about red flag laws is that a person like this who expresses a desire
01:36:38.440
to kill people publicly never gets flagged but conservatives have been arrested or had their
01:36:42.780
guns confiscated under these laws make it make sense it doesn't make sense it's not supposed to
01:36:48.660
make sense it's supposed to punish you uh white rider to be honest it looks to me like this nutter
01:36:53.040
has intentionally used any and all memes and references in order to obfuscate his motives
01:36:56.860
absolutely it wouldn't be surprised me if he's done this because there have been so many trans
01:37:00.500
mass shooters lately he still wanted to lash out and kill a bunch of people but he didn't want more
01:37:04.060
pressure to be put on the demographic it's uh dodging blame uh possibly uh possibly but in again in the in
01:37:11.960
the journal there's a lot of he makes a lot of jokes about himself being trans it's weird i think he
01:37:18.240
was just crazy zesty king remember when there was a mass shooting in christ church new zealand and
01:37:22.780
everyone blamed it on him being right wing funny how we can blame personal politics for these kinds of
01:37:26.420
things but only do it selectively well last thing i don't want to get involved in that i only want to get
01:37:31.820
involved in that kind of thing if the evidence points that way for me with this the evidence points
01:37:36.560
more to him being a crazy person who was just infected by internet brain rot not that the internet brain
01:37:44.660
what was what caused him to kill people in the first place he already wanted to do that but the ideology
01:37:49.360
doesn't seem i can't detect any major ideology from any of it personally uh on to your segment
01:37:55.320
annie moss bo after hearing your wonderful prose on twitter i cannot wait to read your book when it
01:38:00.700
comes out how's that going by the way slowly but it is going um i'm actually find it quite uh i'm
01:38:08.680
flattered that people are interested in it i've been trying to write novels on and off since i was like
01:38:13.560
17 or 18 um and actually have finished two or three they're not very good um and i spent most of
01:38:21.660
my 30s not my late 30s not doing it just giving up on it so getting back into it again to write
01:38:27.780
something novel length i.e good couple hundred thousand words completely from your imagination
01:38:33.900
yeah yeah completely yeah it's dedication man well to write something at least 200 or 300 000
01:38:40.920
words long that's any good even remotely good is is difficult and for me very very time consuming
01:38:47.420
well it takes a lot of so months it'll be months before i'm finished still i would have thought i mean
01:38:51.780
even once you've done the first draft i assume it takes a lot of rewrites and editing that's just
01:38:56.660
yeah you're nowhere near finished after the first draft yeah really um the other thing is if anyone out
01:39:01.800
there would know is try to do this you sort of need an insane confidence in your own ability in
01:39:08.100
storytelling and writing of dialogue and right because no one else no one else cares it's just
01:39:14.300
something you're completely dreaming up out of your own mind your own imagination your own characters
01:39:18.880
your own dialogue and it's like why would anyone want to read this really well but once you've got to
01:39:24.820
have sort of an instant to keep going though day after day week after week after week to keep plugging
01:39:28.500
away and get hundreds of thousands of words out you've got to like really really believe
01:39:32.520
that it's a good story yeah i mean once it once it's out there though you'd be surprised i mean it's
01:39:39.120
it's obviously not the exact same thing but you've got like as a musician you've got to have insane
01:39:44.120
confidence that i'm going to write something and people are going to actually want to hear this
01:39:48.460
and they're going to enjoy it and you plug away at it i mean some of the ideas in the song that i
01:39:53.460
released were 10 years old at this point so i've just had them in my back pocket as demos for ages
01:39:58.380
and then you put it out and i've had a pretty much universal positive response so far and it's not
01:40:04.280
just people who are just because they're fans of me they're saying oh i clicked on it because it's
01:40:08.860
harry wasn't expecting that much but this is actually good i was expecting this to be tim paul style music
01:40:14.680
but it was actually decent so i'm sure you'll get a positive response as well if you put all of this
01:40:19.400
work into it it's interesting actually the way you write music um you i think most people any
01:40:25.840
normal person would have self-doubts you write something you think it's good you hope it's good
01:40:30.960
otherwise you wouldn't have done it at all but there's always that thing it's like is this shit
01:40:35.640
is it like you know there's always that way i mean there are some people who write music
01:40:41.420
they think that they release it everybody loves it they still hate it like radiohead with creep
01:40:47.620
where they're like that's our worst song and you will love it why we hate it some but there's then
01:40:55.280
some people can just get resentful uh from playing the song over and over and over again anyway i'll
01:41:00.320
go through some of these more yep uh kevin fox so the government says there is uh to be an inquiry
01:41:05.000
when we hear about uh here now but crickets meanwhile after the government brings it up
01:41:08.720
rupert starts his and so far has 85 cities where it was going on hundreds of victims and the richest
01:41:13.980
man in the world talking about it amazing what can you achieve with a little backing and
01:41:17.480
in a short time if you really want to do it yeah it's all about a backbone and willpower
01:41:21.860
perseverance omar as the owner of twitter wouldn't it be terrible if elon throttled the accounts of
01:41:29.200
gang rape apologists like bbc news freedom of speech not freedom of reach and all of that
01:41:33.480
it'd be funny it'd be funny it would certainly be funny yeah a guy from hungary rupert lowe sounds
01:41:40.020
like george sanders is rupert lowe controlled by academic agent since aa's avatar is of george
01:41:45.680
sanders so is aa running things no no he's no he's not i mean it would be funny but he's not
01:41:52.540
uh strange thing to suggest jimbo i made a comment yesterday about how the british government will
01:41:58.320
eventually try and block x in the name of national security elon opening calling for mps might to be
01:42:03.220
jailed might speed that up they will use the pretense of him having an unwieldy influence over
01:42:08.220
british politics for nefarious reasons it'd be a ballsy move because no one in this country would
01:42:12.720
accept them as the single source of truth yeah i mean that would be that would be the way to do it
01:42:19.380
jimbo again on my segment the worst part about the epstein stuff is that everyone knows even when
01:42:24.140
joe rogan put him on the spot and asked him whether he would release the files if elected he gave a very
01:42:28.400
slippery response uncharacteristic of the donald i guess the republic is just two teams ineffectively
01:42:34.160
demanding the other swamp be trained every four years can be what american government looks like
01:42:39.440
sometimes omar the epstein case is the tip of an iceberg iceberg on a mountain of icebergs that
01:42:44.940
hardly anybody knows exists you um you get occasional hints conspiracy rumors or events like listings of
01:42:51.300
images or furniture with the names of missing children lord inquisitor hector rex would you pardon
01:42:58.660
maxwell if it meant she could provide documents backing up all of her accusations uh that's always a
01:43:05.220
difficult one isn't it uh i mean surely there are ways to get those from if she has them there are
01:43:10.200
ways to get them from her without excusing her i'd pardon her and then as soon as she gives it back
01:43:15.860
over i would put her straight back into prison yeah i rescind the pardon there you go whoops
01:43:22.100
yeah that's always just say very quickly that's always a a difficult balancing act of when you give
01:43:30.440
people immunity or or massive let off on their final conviction in return for more evidence well
01:43:36.860
it's always it's always a gray area the problem would be that surely these crimes being international
01:43:41.840
is that even if america gave her immunity a lot of these crimes would have probably been committed on
01:43:47.440
international soil so could she just get extradited to one of those other countries and charged there
01:43:53.200
if she revealed everything if she spilled the whole beans i'm sure britain would want to charge her
01:43:59.260
your other european countries uh possibly some of the uh possibly some states in the middle east
01:44:05.820
personally i would strike a deal with her for more information if it turned out to be
01:44:10.180
correct and useful for further investigations because the story is way bigger than her
01:44:14.400
the thing is way bigger than whether she serves 20 years in jail or not
01:44:18.900
i suppose but it's just about people getting their just punishments for me so that but i think we've
01:44:25.280
gone on enough we've got a lot one last rumble rant that i'll read that's a random name proof the
01:44:30.080
autobots are great upon getting here optimus immediately learns english and starts taking
01:44:33.820
out the rest of his illegal alien kind the moment they start causing trouble one of the good ones yeah
01:44:38.340
optimus can stay and with that i think uh that's all the time that we've got for today thank you for
01:44:44.840
sticking around with us even 15 minutes rolling over i hope you've enjoyed it uh bye islander
01:44:50.880
