00:00:00.000 hello and welcome to the podcast of the lotus eaters for uh the first of august yes you got
00:00:15.940 it right i did indeed well done ghost of callum could not sabotage me although he's still alive
00:00:21.040 he's in the walls he's alive but he's in the walls that sounds you know whenever the monitor
00:00:26.260 walls start to malfunction that's him chewing on the wires i knew it and it's also podcast 969
00:00:32.180 uh so nice first of all nice there we go and obviously i'm joined by harry hello and i am
00:00:40.400 josh as well yeah i'll say first things first a great big thank you to the um person who sent in
00:00:46.880 these bad boys this enormous coffee tankard cthulhu tankard and this other one which um has one
00:00:56.120 minor design flaw in it but i love it it's a cthulhu tankard it's got my initials on it it's
00:01:02.120 pretty awesome and uh the only the only problem with it is that the handle isn't a handle and it's
00:01:07.380 making it very difficult for me to drink my coffee the amount of anxiety i'm getting watching you hold
00:01:12.000 it over your laptop just like i can't hold this you know when you're playing certain video games
00:01:16.900 and the control scheme is such you have to adopt the claw hand position that's what i have to do
00:01:21.500 to drink from this i have to kind of you have to become lovecraftian and of yourself i have to take
00:01:26.360 on euclidean geometry yes that's one for the deep lovecraft fans out there but you've uh gone from
00:01:33.260 being manky mug harry to fancy mug harry well you know what they say you expect one mug to show up
00:01:39.440 and it doesn't show up and then two arrive at once because these are not the mugs that i was told
00:01:44.860 would be arriving these are not the mugs you're looking for these are from what i can tell custom
00:01:48.840 made ones from etsy uh that some beautiful gorgeous sexual anonymous person sexual anonymous
00:01:56.300 sent sent it was uh that were done by catcher catch actano mugs on etsy so congrats to them for
00:02:04.760 making such awesome mugs and thank you to the person who sent these in you just coined the labor
00:02:09.060 party's new phrase a new euphemism that they're not a rapist they're sexually anonymous
00:02:14.660 dear lord anyway um we are talking about some news um i'm going to be talking about the riots in
00:02:24.120 britain harry's going to be talking about mr beast something slightly less depressing mr beast's um
00:02:30.800 mr beast is mr yeast pet trune yes his pet tranny has been noncing allegedly allegedly allegedly but
00:02:38.440 there are a lot of very damning discord but also actually um allegedly actually yes and then also
00:02:45.220 talking about assassin's creed because we don't want the whole thing to be horribly depressing yes i'd
00:02:50.820 actually genuinely try to go out of my way to find something that wasn't depressing and i couldn't
00:02:55.080 i i spent all day yesterday looking for positive news and then more riots happened last night they did
00:02:59.780 yeah and actually kind of need to cover it we do yeah i think we should we should do the disclaimer
00:03:06.140 yes oh yeah disclaimer that calvin robinson has his show at three o'clock i've already almost knocked
00:03:13.640 this thing over you're going to be putting me on edge the whole show oh goodness me anyway calvin
00:03:20.280 robinson's got his his show he's talking about trump derangement syndrome two-tiered policing
00:03:24.340 and he has a guest called roger kiska that is at three o'clock this afternoon uh british summertime
00:03:30.700 also uh harry wants us to give a disclaimer well the business wants us to give a dislike disclaimer
00:03:37.780 uh the yes don't join in any rioting it is not going to achieve anything it is not a good idea
00:03:43.820 doesn't benefit anyone and uh please don't yes if you're going to go to any protests make sure to
00:03:48.560 not engage in and stay as far away from any illegal activity as possible
00:03:53.200 yes remain peaceful obviously we support people protesting murdered children i'm very very angry
00:03:59.540 about it obviously you saw me cover it um it was really difficult and so i really want something
00:04:05.360 to happen about this in a political sense but a bunch of scousers throwing rocks at the police
00:04:10.300 isn't going to get rid of illegal criminals is it let's be honest so i suppose i may as well talk
00:04:17.520 about what has been going on in the uk in the past 24 hours so protesters have clashed with police in
00:04:26.540 a number of different places um the guardian has reported hartley paul and london but also there have
00:04:32.820 been um protests and events in manchester and aldershop as well and um i think it's worth mentioning before
00:04:40.140 we get on to some of the footage the two-tier policing that has been going on and we've been
00:04:45.360 talking about for a long time just to frame what you're actually seeing right because one frustrating
00:04:51.200 thing i've seen about lots of people on our side is well such and such have been doing it therefore
00:04:57.120 it's okay for us to do it and that's not how it works at all there there is a system of policing in
00:05:02.660 the uk where different rules apply to the native british and particularly the right wing and the
00:05:09.160 minority communities in the country we know this it's stated explicitly um it is taught to police we
00:05:15.040 have proof the police are taught to treat certain communities differently they just they are trained
00:05:20.180 to do it by the authorities via political pressure that certain communities are are seen as more
00:05:26.680 autonomous than others and we're seeing this in action right um i've actually spoke to police officers
00:05:32.660 they've told me um that the way that this policing is done some of them at least have said they're
00:05:38.540 deeply uncomfortable with this um but i don't see that as enough of a proportion like they're telling me
00:05:44.320 that they're in the minority in the police now because a lot of the the police that are actually
00:05:49.640 there to make the country safer rather than seeing it as a career or actually the people who buy into
00:05:56.340 the the woke reprogramming hope violent sinker are the majority i have similar experiences speaking with
00:06:02.600 my own friends who are police officers all of whom have been doing this for probably over 10 years at
00:06:08.160 this point all of whom joined the police so that they would be able to help their local communities
00:06:13.180 make a difference make it safer for people that as we've covered a number of times on the podcast
00:06:18.100 the actual incentives for people who are joining the police now are um terrible and the sorts of people
00:06:26.000 who are applying to become police officers and being allowed to become police officers are held to such
00:06:31.720 low standards that there is basically very little physical fitness checks for them very little sort of
00:06:38.760 judgment with temperament because of course if you're going to be a police officer you want to be
00:06:42.600 able to exercise good judgment with a calm level-headed temperament and also just so many women coming
00:06:49.020 in as well that it is really affecting the way that the police are able to do their jobs there are also
00:06:54.400 two things that i think are very understated you it now is required that you have a degree to be a
00:07:01.140 police officer i don't know why it seems a bit unnecessary but it means you've been through the university
00:07:05.780 institutions and all of the um left-leaning biases that are there within and two um to get up the ranks
00:07:14.200 to the rank of say an inspector you need to have ratted on your colleagues for some sort of politically
00:07:21.640 correct reason so misogyny hate crimes um improper use of force all of these sorts of things that um the
00:07:30.240 left wants the police to do is institutionally enforced and you don't move up the ranks unless
00:07:36.160 you do these things and all of this sort of thing is why my friends are looking to get out of it as
00:07:40.260 soon as possible i'm hearing a lot about well because the incentives from what you're telling me
00:07:44.500 there are the the people who are supposed to have your back are actively incentivized to rat on you
00:07:50.720 and treat you in an untrustworthy way so how are you supposed to trust that somebody whose incentive
00:07:55.600 is to rat on you how are you supposed to trust them to have your back exactly but there are still
00:08:00.660 some good people in the police that i i know personally although it's increasingly becoming a
00:08:06.480 case where the bad people are outnumbering the good i think so it's worth mentioning as well with
00:08:13.160 the two tier of policing this is the same playbook in the uk that was used in the us in 2020 right
00:08:19.400 the black lives matter and anti-far riots of 2020 they basically burnt america to the ground
00:08:25.420 and faced no repercussions the police had their their hands tied or actively let it happen and so
00:08:32.920 then there was a response from the right saying well are these the rules then well okay then jan 6
00:08:38.640 happened and we know how much of a trap that was because the rules aren't enforced evenly and the same
00:08:45.840 thing is going to happen here you'll fall into a trap um by thinking that okay if these are the rules
00:08:52.520 i'm going to play by these rules even though i don't necessarily agree with them and it's just
00:08:56.660 to catch you out that's the whole purpose of it right again i can understand why this happens we've
00:09:01.240 been shown the rules we've been shown that um making political change and getting your way
00:09:05.980 happens in a certain way so uh i think it's understandable that people would assume that
00:09:10.900 this is how they're going to make change not that i would justify attacking the police or again
00:09:15.680 engaging in any illegal activities so it's worth hammering this point home that protesting and
00:09:23.400 direct action only works when the ruling class is already hospitable to your ideas why are the ruling
00:09:30.540 elites going to listen to you when we know what they're like when they're doing all of this to us
00:09:36.740 why are they going to go like well you know they've thrown some rocks at some police in southport and
00:09:41.180 they've done a small bit of rioting in in london and manchester maybe so we're going to change our
00:09:47.460 entire strategy it doesn't make sense the the ruling class enact changes in response to um protests
00:09:56.560 not because they have to but because they use it as a sort of smoke screen to to give people the
00:10:03.140 impression that these sorts of things actually work give people a false sense that these methods
00:10:08.500 actually bear fruit when they they don't it's because they choose to do it this is the source
00:10:13.840 of the two-tier policing in my opinion that's my reading of it right maybe i'm wrong i mean i would
00:10:18.540 say that historically within the uk there has been examples where the political class has had to give
00:10:23.800 into pressure mainly from the working classes due to um riots and protests that were happening think of
00:10:30.620 the labor laws that were enacted in the 19th century a good example of that so it does reach a critical
00:10:36.600 point at one point but i don't think it's at that point yet so here is a meme that david aviton shared
00:10:45.420 um just remember everyone depending on who is rioting depends on how it's framed it's far right
00:10:54.020 rioting thugs if it's the native british and it's fiery but mostly peaceful if it's not that's that's
00:10:59.700 how it works and it's worth mentioning as well that social media needs to take some responsibility
00:11:06.460 for southport rumors this was reported on while the riots in southport were still going on they had
00:11:12.920 this in the works they were waiting for people to do this sort of thing they knew how people would
00:11:17.640 react because of course the stabbing of and and the the deaths of three young girls um it's horrifying
00:11:25.380 not denying that right however it's obvious that this only goes to help the demonization of our
00:11:33.460 side of politics by the ruling classes and helps neuter our movement to make immigration migration
00:11:40.040 remigration all of these things household words and push for them because when these crackdowns come in
00:11:48.620 it's going to interfere with our ability to push these things and and make it such a movement that
00:11:55.900 it's unstoppable well i do i will i will say on a more positive note that the reaction to all of this
00:12:02.240 from the elite class has seemed to be utterly confused and contemptible and nowhere near as slick
00:12:09.160 as the as you would expect talking about that yeah under the old blairite playbook playbook you would
00:12:15.620 expect some kind of um a public announcement made that tries to calm tensions that goes out and you
00:12:26.320 would have had blair or somebody come out and say we're listening to your concerns we're going to do
00:12:30.720 everything that we need to do to address those concerns in attempt to cool people down and calm the
00:12:37.160 problem because what no matter what position you're in in the in the leading class you don't want riots on
00:12:42.780 the street typically speaking certainly not from the people who are your political enemies that being
00:12:48.020 the white working class um they've done an absolutely terrible job of covering this it seems
00:12:52.720 completely ad hoc it seems to be desperation moves uh because the more and more and more they restrict
00:12:58.120 people when the obvious is happening in front of people's very eyes the more clear it is to me that
00:13:03.120 these people didn't really have a plan in the first place i'm very much against the idea at this point
00:13:08.880 that everybody has some secret evil machiavellian behind the strings pulling pulling the strings
00:13:15.100 exactly where they need to go no i see all of these people as incompetent buffoons who also happen to
00:13:21.180 be evil on a level that i can't even comprehend unintentionally by trying to crack down on people's
00:13:27.040 freedom of speech ultimately is they're increasing the pressure that's all they're doing if by pushing
00:13:33.180 down on people more and more the pressure in reaction is going to be higher and it's going to
00:13:38.620 be their mistake to make i think so obviously um carl was saying i strongly recommend not attending any
00:13:44.760 protests at this time um certainly if you insist on doing so do so peacefully um because people who
00:13:52.980 support them and those who have gone to them are being arrested and being arrested doesn't really
00:14:00.640 help anyone no i do i do find steve very endearing but he does actively go out of his way to fed post
00:14:07.220 probably as a form of provocation as a form of a little we do a little trolling here and there uh but
00:14:13.300 there comes a point where yeah you're going to get arrested for it sadly for people like us we can sort
00:14:19.540 of get over it's not going to affect our career but for normal people who have normal jobs
00:14:24.040 um it's not quite the same the sort of commentariat class can absorb that blow if you get arrested
00:14:31.800 because it's seen as part of our job in a sense however to normal people it could ruin your life
00:14:38.740 bear that in mind you know i'm not telling you what to do just laying it out there for you so let's
00:14:44.700 move on to some of the protests in london because the way the police have acted here i do not approve of
00:14:50.100 so i don't think i'm some sort of quizzling for you know defending what's going on here i still hate
00:14:55.320 the ruling classes just as much as i always have so here we are having some police officers explain
00:15:01.120 um that if these people here step on the pavement they'll be arrested just arbitrarily let's have a
00:15:09.540 listen shall we can i ask what we're arrested for if we go in the road what would we be arrested for
00:15:15.420 if we were to go in the road breach of the section 14 of public calling conditions imposed on this
00:15:21.000 demonstration we're not so certain for today is it yeah yeah yeah right okay it should be explained
00:15:24.980 where you're allowed can you tell me i've just arrived that's fine no road what about palestine
00:15:30.320 protesters yeah yeah you're meant to be on i think that side of the road or just not in the road
00:15:34.420 not in the road okay is there a warning someone walks in there do you warn them first or just take
00:15:39.800 them you've had your warning now yeah if someone's in the road if it gets busy and someone's pushed in
00:15:44.160 it's all been communicated through i'm in this area okay
00:15:46.560 yeah so if people preach that okay so he's basically explained that we'll give you a warning
00:15:55.360 if you step in the road and then if you don't move later they'll arrest you but
00:16:00.520 it's just stood there he's not missing being arrested because is there missing context in the
00:16:23.300 clip did you step onto the road or you've got a bunch of people there aren't they filming you did
00:16:28.360 And they've just singled him out specifically.
00:16:39.360 He doesn't seem to have done anything violent because he just says you're alright without cuffs aren't you, you're cooperating.
00:16:44.360 And he sort of walks him off.
00:16:51.360 But there are other people just on the pavement as well.
00:16:54.360 So it seemed like he was just following what they told him and then arbitrarily arrested him anyway.
00:17:00.360 Maybe there is missing context but it seems to me.
00:17:03.360 I mean from what I can tell from that footage he was standing around the edge of the pavement so perhaps that was enough as far as the police were concerned.
00:17:10.360 Also again, not to be too hard on this point, but did you notice that around the larger man in the police outfit with the riot helmets and everything there was a few tiny women?
00:17:22.360 Yeah.
00:17:24.360 They're not the most intimidating bunch are they?
00:17:26.360 No.
00:17:28.360 I think they're a bit of a liability to the other staff really and to themselves and they're putting themselves in harm's way under false pretenses.
00:17:35.360 So there's also arrests of some unlikely suspects.
00:17:40.360 Here's what looks like a nice lady that you wouldn't expect would be a criminal for just attending the protest.
00:17:47.360 And then there's another lady here who was complaining that she has a pacemaker so please be careful.
00:17:53.360 She is shouting and a bit distressed but there's obviously missing context here.
00:17:59.360 However, it does seem like they were just arresting random people and the kinds of people that are being arrested aren't who you would regard as typical troublemakers.
00:18:07.360 No.
00:18:08.360 Oh, we were going around Grand's for dinner over the weekend.
00:18:10.360 What are we doing now?
00:18:11.360 Oh, we're visiting and you're in jail.
00:18:13.360 Yeah.
00:18:14.360 It seems a bit silly to me.
00:18:15.360 People were understandably annoyed about, to put it lightly, about the kind of crimes that are going on and targeting children.
00:18:22.360 I think it's fair to say that people were going to protest this sort of thing, right?
00:18:26.360 And so...
00:18:27.360 And again, they could have potentially avoided it if Starmer had come out and said, we will do something about it.
00:18:35.360 Obviously, it was disgusting.
00:18:36.360 He made his public appearance where he put the wreath down, got heckled by people, made no public statement then.
00:18:42.360 The public statement that I have seen since then has been him saying, oh, it's knife crimes fault.
00:18:47.360 Yeah, that's nothing.
00:18:49.360 Also, I would like to point out that there's been a bit of a failure in leadership of Nigel Farage.
00:18:53.360 He should have gone down to the site and said, listen, we're going to do something about this.
00:18:57.360 But he's not.
00:18:58.360 He should have used this political pressure point to start to go into parliament and say things like we need some kind of...
00:19:03.360 I mean, he did the referendum for Brexit.
00:19:05.360 That's what he pushed for before.
00:19:07.360 There is no better moment than right now to start pushing in parliament for anti-migrant legislation.
00:19:12.360 And saying, oh, well, you know, we don't we don't encourage people to go out and do anything.
00:19:18.360 You know, we're actually the party that's the strongest on this thing on law and order.
00:19:23.360 And he's trying to score some cheap points, which isn't helping things at all, really.
00:19:28.360 And yeah, there were lots of people going along to, I believe, was it the cenotaph?
00:19:34.360 Yes.
00:19:35.360 And also here is some some footage of them just walking up to a protester and just grabbing him arbitrarily.
00:19:46.360 I'll turn the volume off because it's quite loud.
00:19:48.360 And they all just start hitting him right in the face.
00:19:51.360 He was just stood there.
00:19:52.360 Yeah.
00:19:53.360 He wasn't really doing anything.
00:19:55.360 He was stood there minding his own business and they just grabbed him and beat him up for no reason.
00:20:00.360 Can we go back to the beginning of the footage?
00:20:02.360 Sure.
00:20:03.360 I just want to make sure of something.
00:20:04.360 Because, again, we've got to be very careful when we examine this footage.
00:20:09.360 So if you wouldn't mind playing it again, I just want to double check the context for this.
00:20:13.360 What little we have.
00:20:14.360 Refresh the page.
00:20:15.360 Oh, we might have to refresh the page.
00:20:17.360 Because I wanted to make sure that he wasn't already being held by the police before the footage begins.
00:20:22.360 No, he's like over here, isn't he?
00:20:24.360 Yeah, just play it for me so I can make sure.
00:20:27.360 Oh, yeah.
00:20:29.360 Oh, okay.
00:20:32.360 They just grabbed him.
00:20:34.360 I mean, maybe he was hurling abuse at them, but I'm sorry you're a police officer.
00:20:38.360 Words aren't supposed to be hurty.
00:20:40.360 You're not supposed to arrest people for giving you hurty feelings.
00:20:43.360 Yeah, and I don't think it warrants a punch to the face.
00:20:46.360 Because if a private citizen does that to another person where someone's verbally abusing them and you punch them in the face, that's a crime.
00:20:53.360 Simple as that.
00:20:54.360 So why should the police be able to do that to us?
00:20:56.360 I don't think that's fair.
00:20:58.360 So Martin Daubney of GB News got arrested as well.
00:21:03.360 So he was at the Cenotaph and he was recording things and he got arrested as well.
00:21:09.360 So they're not, you know, they're not treating people with kid gloves here.
00:21:12.360 It's not like the Leeds riots where the police ran away or all of the innumerable other minority riots that have gone on where the police are just like, well, we'll leave.
00:21:22.360 We'll leave. We're not going to do anything here.
00:21:25.360 I'm sorry to interrupt, but all I'm thinking right now, the people who are saying, oh, this is all according to their plan.
00:21:31.360 This is what they want to do.
00:21:32.360 And I understand there's an idea of the managed decline, which is definitely going on.
00:21:37.360 But the idea that they're going to try and put the woke away, the idea that they're going to try and solve this in a managerial sense seems completely alien to me.
00:21:45.360 When realistically, all they need to do to solve these kinds of problems is if they're going to import millions of people into the country who so that they can keep ratcheting up house prices is don't import millions of people who are going to actively go out and try and murder children.
00:22:03.360 And if they do try and murder children, have law and order in place so they don't do that.
00:22:08.360 And if they end up doing it anyway, have law and order in place so that you're able to calm down tensions before it rises.
00:22:15.360 This is a complete failure of governance and statesmanship on every single level of the kind that it says to me that there is no ultimate plan.
00:22:24.360 This is working on inertia out of sheer irrational hatred for the British natives.
00:22:30.360 So because we're running out of time, I'm going to have to go through quite quick fire.
00:22:34.360 So there was some conflict with police here.
00:22:39.360 Turn the volume down a bit there.
00:22:41.360 There was more conflict. This was outside of Downing Street.
00:22:45.360 So this is the kind of place where it makes sense to protest as well, actually protesting outside of the people responsible.
00:22:52.360 And I think it's fair to say that the police did help agitate some things here by treating the protesters in the way they did.
00:23:00.360 And they they did encourage people to behave violently by kettling them in so much and just arbitrarily arresting people minding their own business being peaceful.
00:23:10.360 And then even of an evening here, they dispersed people down again.
00:23:18.360 So here are people just sort of milling about as you do.
00:23:23.360 And then the police just are marching quite quickly in a line and people are slowly walking away.
00:23:29.360 It's not like it's necessarily a riot or anything. It's just people hanging about, really.
00:23:36.360 There's not many people. And then they just start running at people, forcing them to run away.
00:23:41.360 It seems entirely unnecessary to me.
00:23:46.360 But there's also stuff going on in Hartlepool. So there was some rioting there.
00:23:52.360 And they set the dogs on people here. So if we can just play it here.
00:24:00.360 They were just setting dogs on people protesting here.
00:24:03.360 It's probably aggravating police here because you can see him interacting.
00:24:07.360 But then I don't think it warrants setting a dog on someone.
00:24:11.360 It could just be that the dog went for him. It's difficult to tell.
00:24:15.360 But then later on, after this, they then pushed in with the dogs and just made everyone scatter.
00:24:29.360 So you'll see in a minute. There we go.
00:24:32.360 The person with the dogs, the riot police are advancing.
00:24:35.360 They made everyone more or less scatter and they're hitting people on the ground, basically.
00:24:41.360 So there was also more stuff here.
00:24:43.360 There's another angle of the same thing, but because we don't have time, you'll have to seek that out in your own time in the reading list on the website.
00:24:51.360 And there was also stuff in Aldershot as well.
00:24:57.360 There's a protest outside of a migrant hotel.
00:25:01.360 And this was condemned supposedly.
00:25:05.360 There were signs saying no apartments for illegals.
00:25:07.360 Deport them. Don't support them.
00:25:09.360 Which I think is perfectly reasonable sentiment in my opinion.
00:25:11.360 And the MP for the area said this incident was exacerbated by people from the outside of our community who came here determined to cause unrest that didn't turn violent.
00:25:21.360 There's also stuff in Manchester as well, which did see some violence where according to the Manchester evening news, at least as a man dragged off of a bus and rocks and bottles were thrown at the police.
00:25:33.360 I've not been able to find any footage of this, though, interestingly enough, so I wasn't able to verify it.
00:25:37.360 I mean, I'm not I'm not surprised with Manchester.
00:25:39.360 I've seen footage of migrants milling about in Piccadilly Gardens, which is the center of Manchester, clearly consorting with young girls who are underage.
00:25:51.360 And people have gone up and said, what's going on?
00:25:53.360 And the police have actively intimidated the British people going up, trying to figure out what the hell are you doing hanging out with teenage girls?
00:26:00.360 Yeah, well, I think that particularly around Manchester, it's a bit of a sensitive topic because we know that the police covered for grooming, basically.
00:26:08.360 Still are.
00:26:09.360 And they still are. Yeah.
00:26:10.360 So I can certainly understand the anger towards the police there.
00:26:14.360 Richard Tice, of course, said my inbox is full of emails from people who are terrified of what is happening to Britain.
00:26:20.360 Only the Reform Party is calling this out.
00:26:22.360 Tories and Labour are complicit in the disaster befalling us.
00:26:25.360 Well, I agree with that last part.
00:26:26.360 Push legislation, Tice.
00:26:27.360 Yeah.
00:26:28.360 Do something.
00:26:29.360 We're on the same wavelength.
00:26:31.360 Also, for some reason, UKIP denounced and rejects ethno-nationalism and far-right ideology.
00:26:38.360 Thanks, UKIP, for denouncing something no one's talking about.
00:26:41.360 How timely.
00:26:42.360 What an important thing to say at this exact moment.
00:26:45.360 Thank you, UKIP.
00:26:46.360 They also, it looks like they have an image of a concentration camp behind them.
00:26:51.360 Oh, because if people stand up for their own country and don't want children murdered in the streets, then that means that a few weeks from now we'll be putting them in camps, right?
00:27:01.360 Yes, because of course, if British people want a British state for the British people, that is basically just the Holocaust, isn't it?
00:27:08.360 Okay.
00:27:09.360 Well done, UKIP.
00:27:10.360 You've just proved you are irrelevant.
00:27:12.360 So yes, I never want to see anyone talk about that party again.
00:27:15.360 Absolute scumbags.
00:27:17.360 Talking about scumbags, actually.
00:27:19.360 This is the kind of thing that was rolled out in reaction.
00:27:22.360 So your child was just blown up, stabbed, slash attacked.
00:27:25.360 This is the sort of boilerplate response.
00:27:27.360 As a result of our utopian policies, here is a list we need you to read from.
00:27:30.360 Diversity is our strength.
00:27:31.360 We can't embolden the forces of hate.
00:27:33.360 Don't look back in anger.
00:27:34.360 This has nothing to do with the government somehow.
00:27:37.360 And our children wouldn't have wanted anybody to prevent this.
00:27:41.360 And let's be honest.
00:27:42.360 There is probably a member of the intelligence services speaking to the family members, to the parents of those children who died, prepping them for this right now.
00:27:50.360 Mm-hmm.
00:27:51.360 We know it goes on.
00:27:52.360 I mean, there's a playbook in the UK.
00:27:54.360 Rather than actually preventing terror attacks, the state has infrastructure set up, which I covered with Carl, when we actually covered the-
00:28:02.360 The Middle East Stai article.
00:28:03.360 Yeah, exactly.
00:28:04.360 Where they just roll this stuff out, which is disgusting and vile and totalitarian.
00:28:09.360 They manage the outrage.
00:28:11.360 They don't actually prevent it.
00:28:12.360 Then you get sort of Labour Party types like this, that are calling for more crackdowns.
00:28:17.360 Immediately action by Ofcom to shut down any platform whose algorithm is promoting incendiary content and disinformation.
00:28:24.360 The subjective interpretation of that is wild.
00:28:26.360 Basically, any means of communication that does stuff I don't approve of should be shut down.
00:28:33.360 Evil.
00:28:35.360 An end to establishment figures with well-paid slots and edgy media saying that the writers have a point.
00:28:41.360 Well, what, that we're annoyed that girls were stabbed?
00:28:44.360 You're an absolute scumbag, aren't you?
00:28:46.360 And then intelligence and expert-led response, foreign manipulation of disinfo.
00:28:53.360 Russia has something to do with this somehow.
00:28:56.360 These are the people that call us conspiracy theorists, by the way.
00:29:00.360 Some blue and on right here.
00:29:01.360 It is, yeah.
00:29:02.360 And it goes on and on about how basically, also, we're prepared to be a militant democracy.
00:29:09.360 That term is evil.
00:29:12.360 You are evil.
00:29:13.360 Yeah, exactly.
00:29:14.360 These people are evil, but they're also quite stupid and only have three or four talking points that they trot out every single time something like this happens.
00:29:23.360 So, we also have another person here, Ian Dunt, which, don't be careful about how you say a second name.
00:29:30.360 What we are seeing out there is a conspiracy nexus created by anonymous accounts, spread by prominent figures on the populist right, seized on by street fascists, whatever they are, and given credibility by politicians, broadcasters, and academics.
00:29:43.360 People are annoyed that children were stabbed by a foreigner, and for some reason there's a conspiracy.
00:29:48.360 Shut up.
00:29:49.360 No, there's not.
00:29:50.360 You're an idiot.
00:29:51.360 Also, completely unrelated, he defended Hugh Edwards, who has pleaded guilty to being a pedophile recently.
00:29:59.360 Not just producing, I believe, were the terms.
00:30:03.360 41 images of, and one of the images was someone, I think, ages seven to nine years old.
00:30:10.360 Yep.
00:30:11.360 Yep.
00:30:12.360 I mean, it's bad enough just having that, but also the charges having produced it.
00:30:17.360 Hmm.
00:30:18.360 So, he's a guy I want to defend, says Ian Dunt.
00:30:23.360 Yeah.
00:30:24.360 What does that say about you, Ian, really?
00:30:27.360 So, also, trying to say, I'm old enough to remember when you said the Tommy Robinson rally in Trafalgar Square was a nice day out.
00:30:37.360 So, they're trying to, you know, lots of people are trying to blame people for the rioting, which is a pretty organic phenomenon,
00:30:44.360 because, you know, a community whereby children are stabbed.
00:30:48.360 That is an angering thing, right?
00:30:50.360 Trying to blame political figures.
00:30:52.360 And, Russian Garbage Human had a very good meme here.
00:30:55.360 Actually solving the problem with Labour shunning themselves.
00:30:59.360 Blaming knives, blaming Brits, blaming X.
00:31:01.360 Enacting digital ID.
00:31:03.360 Tie ID to social media.
00:31:05.360 Ban the right wing.
00:31:06.360 Embrace the World Economic Forum Agenda 2030.
00:31:09.360 That's what we've got in store for us now.
00:31:12.360 So, again, it's great that apparently the right wing now, the right wing position is don't murder children.
00:31:21.360 So, the left wing position is what?
00:31:24.360 Well, we know who Planned Parenthood stands with anyway.
00:31:27.360 So, Labour, let's talk about their response.
00:31:31.360 They're considering banning or prescribing the English Defence League under terror laws.
00:31:35.360 It's not existed since 2013, the English Defence League.
00:31:39.360 So, nice tone deaf response.
00:31:41.360 Humza Youssef.
00:31:42.360 Machiavellian geniuses.
00:31:43.360 The Pakistani former Scottish First Minister called on the Home Secretary to prescribe the EDL,
00:31:49.360 which doesn't exist anymore.
00:31:51.360 Well done, Humza.
00:31:52.360 Just another embarrassment to your name.
00:31:54.360 You can't even ride a scooter properly.
00:31:56.360 Then we have this.
00:31:58.360 Starmer summons UK police chiefs as stabbing sparks wave of far-right violence,
00:32:03.360 according to Politico at least.
00:32:05.360 Yes, again, being annoyed at children being hurt is far-right.
00:32:10.360 But yes, here comes the coordinated response.
00:32:12.360 And it's also worth mentioning, they're not ending migration.
00:32:16.360 They turned away one boat.
00:32:17.360 Everyone's just like, oh, Labour be outflanking the Tories to the right.
00:32:21.360 No, actually, they've dropped the plan to stop people who earn under £38,700
00:32:28.360 from bringing foreign spouses or partners to the UK.
00:32:31.360 So now they can bring their spouses across if they're earning less than that amount of money.
00:32:36.360 So yes, they're just making it worse.
00:32:38.360 They're bringing more immigrants to the country that stab more children, presumably.
00:32:42.360 And it's worth mentioning as well, just the sheer state of the problems in the UK.
00:32:46.360 17 stabbings in 48 hours.
00:32:48.360 There's also a video here of what I presume to be either a North African or Sub-Saharan African man
00:32:56.360 doing some weird kung fu moves with a knife in his hand.
00:33:00.360 I don't know what's going on here.
00:33:01.360 Somebody's legs in the way.
00:33:02.360 Yeah, get those legs out.
00:33:04.360 But you'll see it in a second.
00:33:07.360 Just an absolutely mental guy.
00:33:09.360 People just squaring off in a park and Bruce Lee over here doing some weird stuff.
00:33:15.360 I don't know what's going on.
00:33:16.360 I mean, honestly, from a distance, the person he's squaring up to also looks foreign.
00:33:20.360 Yes, he probably is, yeah.
00:33:22.360 So, without mass migration, neither side of this problem would be here.
00:33:27.360 No.
00:33:28.360 And there's more stuff here.
00:33:29.360 A 52-year-old bus driver was stabbed in the heart last night in Stoke Newington Common
00:33:33.360 as he walked home from shopping.
00:33:35.360 Which is more crime.
00:33:37.360 Also, Hemel Hempstead, armed response involving a man running around with a machete trying to stab someone.
00:33:42.360 And there were people in Southend running around with machetes the other day as well.
00:33:45.360 Exactly.
00:33:46.360 It's just par for the course at the minute.
00:33:49.360 Our country is falling apart because Labour is tyrannising it with anarchic foreigners.
00:33:56.360 They're not doing anything about it.
00:33:57.360 They're making the problem worse.
00:33:59.360 I don't think necessarily joining in in rioting is going to help
00:34:03.360 because it's just going to bring about the crackdown.
00:34:06.360 And you will likely get arrested.
00:34:08.360 You'll likely get arrested.
00:34:09.360 That doesn't help anyone.
00:34:10.360 And so, there is a good way of going about this.
00:34:13.360 There is sentiment in the public that is changing.
00:34:17.360 You just need to restrain your anger, which is rightful.
00:34:22.360 I'm not saying you shouldn't be angry.
00:34:24.360 But we need to make the people who are doing this to us suffer consequences.
00:34:30.360 And we need to sort out the politicians that are tyrannising us with this stuff.
00:34:36.360 Not do that sort of thing.
00:34:38.360 Sorry, that went on a little bit long.
00:34:41.360 No, that's fine.
00:34:42.360 There was a lot to cover right there.
00:34:45.360 So, we'll see how we get on with my two segments.
00:34:48.360 We might have to maybe cut the third one short a bit.
00:34:52.360 Maybe do that another day or something.
00:34:53.360 I'm sorry if you have to.
00:34:55.360 That's absolutely fine.
00:34:56.360 It'll just mean that we get no fun.
00:34:58.360 Because...
00:34:59.360 Excuse me?
00:35:00.360 Oh, there's rumble chats.
00:35:02.360 Oh, yes.
00:35:03.360 We've got rumble rants that we should read as well.
00:35:05.360 Yes.
00:35:06.360 There's a screen here.
00:35:07.360 Let me see if I can...
00:35:09.360 Here we go.
00:35:10.360 I can read them like this.
00:35:12.360 Alright.
00:35:13.360 I'll start from the top.
00:35:16.360 Two dollars.
00:35:17.360 Royal Judas says,
00:35:18.360 I love how the Aldershot MP said the peaceful protest descended into intimidating behaviour.
00:35:24.360 Which means that there was no violence.
00:35:26.360 She's just slandering the people.
00:35:28.360 That's the playbook.
00:35:29.360 Just slander the people even if they've not done anything.
00:35:31.360 Five dollars from Bobobad says,
00:35:36.360 The police and media are working together to provoke violent protests to defame and jail opposition.
00:35:40.360 The solution is hard.
00:35:41.360 Either not to engage in or to be peaceful in the face of violence and slander.
00:35:45.360 Again, if you are going to engage in anything like this,
00:35:48.360 avoid any illegal activity or anybody engaging in illegal activity.
00:35:53.360 Make sure you maintain peaceful protest.
00:35:57.360 Arch bigot of Durham for five dollars.
00:36:01.360 I'm glad that that's an official title now.
00:36:03.360 Prediction.
00:36:04.360 Things are about to accelerate now.
00:36:05.360 It's going to be a tit for tat between the natives and the invaders until the entire country is on fire.
00:36:09.360 Get your loved ones to safety.
00:36:12.360 I don't know if that is going to be the way, but if there was any time that it was going to accelerate.
00:36:17.360 Manchester Arena bombing.
00:36:19.360 52 dead, wasn't it?
00:36:21.360 Nothing happened.
00:36:23.360 I will wait and see what happens.
00:36:25.360 They broke out the playbook very quickly with that one.
00:36:28.360 They did, yeah.
00:36:29.360 That's because it's ready to go.
00:36:31.360 At least I article was about partially the don't look back in anger.
00:36:37.360 They had all of the media spin immediately.
00:36:39.360 But there comes a point where it's happened so many times and been rolled out so many times that people are completely numb to it.
00:36:45.360 So no long pork for two dollars.
00:36:48.360 The states cannot have the white working class rise up.
00:36:51.360 Simple as they'll be as brutal as needed to force compliance is never going to be fair.
00:36:55.360 You are their enemy.
00:36:56.360 Time to face facts.
00:36:57.360 I think that's clear to everybody.
00:36:58.360 The engaged few five dollars left is going to keep this up until they find out that the Englishmen haven't forgotten how to construct gibbets and scaffolds or how to twist hemp roads.
00:37:08.360 So, yeah, I've got to say that I can't support that statement.
00:37:15.360 Chaos is fun for one dollar says, as British, our responses are usually measured.
00:37:20.360 We moan and complain.
00:37:21.360 But after years of being gash lit with images such as Somali fencing teams practicing in the streets and our opinions met with riot gear.
00:37:28.360 For another one dollar squishy hunter says, if the English government does not conduct mass deportations, I will say the N word.
00:37:36.360 I don't think they'll necessarily mind.
00:37:40.360 Hear that Starmer.
00:37:41.360 Hear that Starmer.
00:37:42.360 You better watch out.
00:37:43.360 And the last one, five dollars from the engaged few.
00:37:46.360 The way things are going, we should take bets on how long before UK police are extorting bribes from random motorists and pedestrians.
00:37:53.360 Yes, we are becoming sort of third world in our approach, aren't we?
00:37:57.360 That we are.
00:37:58.360 Anyway, so I'll move on to the next segment.
00:38:00.360 I think we'll probably only have time for this because we've got a lot of video comments to go through as well.
00:38:05.360 So let's talk about the Mr. Beast situation.
00:38:07.360 Now, there has been a number of situations recently where it came to allegations and admissions of big YouTubers and streamers speaking to underage people, underage girls and underage boys.
00:38:21.360 One of the big ones being Dr. Disrespect, who I've not got anything on the links, but he essentially, I think it turned out, was speaking to a 17 year old girl online where he'd been exchanging inappropriate jokes and messages with her.
00:38:32.360 And he has admitted it. And there's been a big outcry to that. And lots of other streamers and YouTubers have completely condemned him.
00:38:40.360 And of course, if you are speaking to underage minors inappropriately, you should be condemned. It's not that difficult, especially if you're a married man with children.
00:38:50.360 Yeah, he's an older man as well, which adds another weirdness to their dimension.
00:38:54.360 Yeah, it's not that difficult not to speak to people who are underage. I don't know why so many YouTubers find this to be such trouble, but it has come to the most important person on YouTube, you could say, because he is the most subscribed to.
00:39:08.360 He is the number one YouTuber who has a very positive image that he projects to the world.
00:39:16.360 That being Mr. Beast and his entourage. And it's important that we say this because I've spoken about Mr. Beast before.
00:39:22.640 There was that video that people were freaking out about earlier on this year where he supposedly went to Africa and built wells and bridges for people.
00:39:29.860 So I wanted to address this and say that if all of the allegations are true and more allegations come out regarding Mr. Beast, because it does seem that he might be directly involved in some of this, at least some people are implying that.
00:39:41.200 Then, of course, that's horrible. That's horrible. And whatever he has done on YouTube does not at all make up for awful things that he's been doing in his private life.
00:39:51.740 And, of course, we also did a video recently on Lad's Hour, which is a subscribers only show that you should subscribe to the podcast for.
00:40:00.560 Only for our most prestige subscribers.
00:40:03.200 Exactly. We did a series, a quick video on rejected YouTube ideas where we came up with the alternate evil Mr. Beast called Mr. Yeast.
00:40:12.740 That was Rory's idea for Mr. Yeast for some reason.
00:40:16.540 And perhaps Mr. Yeast is not actually that far from the real person.
00:40:19.980 But what I've noticed is that there has been some recent reporting on this by places like Sky News that seem to be trying to reframe the issue.
00:40:30.240 Not around the allegations that are mainly focused on one of his old friends who now, a transvestite who now goes by the name Ava Chris Tyson, formerly just known as Chris Tyson.
00:40:41.720 Who was married with kids before, by the way.
00:40:43.480 Yes. They're trying to reframe it to Mr. Beast back in 2017, making some edgy jokes and making inappropriate comments.
00:40:51.300 I've seen some of the clips. I don't even hear him drop a slur personally.
00:40:55.900 Maybe I've not seen those particular clips, but it seems to be his chat goading to make him say that sort of stuff.
00:41:02.820 So I wouldn't say that this is entirely fair, but also it's clearly an opportunity to try and say,
00:41:07.640 Oh no, ignore the transvestite sending inappropriate messages to teenagers and look at Mr. Beast maybe saying the N-word.
00:41:15.960 That's what you want to concern yourself with. Transvestites never do anything wrong.
00:41:20.440 But anyway, so for a lot of the context, you can go to, I went to videos like this, which was a big one that came out last year.
00:41:28.180 I've got no mouse. Do you mind scrolling down for me, Samson?
00:41:31.960 I have no mouse and I must scream.
00:41:33.480 Yeah, this came. Oh, you've got a holy mouse.
00:41:38.360 A gift ye a mouse.
00:41:39.820 Thank ye. Thank ye very much, oh kind sir.
00:41:42.340 So yeah, we got this video last year from Sunny V2, which was originally called, I think it was Chris Tyson is going to become a nightmare for Mr. Beast.
00:41:51.120 And it got a lot of pushback because people were saying this is transphobic.
00:41:54.520 This is terrible.
00:41:55.100 But it was giving the story of what was happening at the time because it was a big thing.
00:41:59.320 And now he's changed it to how will the Chris Tyson situation impact Mr. Beast?
00:42:03.800 To summarize some of the info from here.
00:42:05.280 So he started posting on social media, this Chris Tyson bloke, pictures where he's painting his nails.
00:42:12.680 It came out that he'd left his wife.
00:42:14.600 He made a big statement, immediately truned out after the separation.
00:42:18.780 While he was in the process of transitioning, they were all invited to the Kids' Choice Awards, which is an appropriate event for a transvestite, of course.
00:42:29.400 He was complaining on social media about access to hormonal replacement therapy and treatments.
00:42:35.240 Because, of course, one of the things you've got to make sure is that it needs to be right now.
00:42:39.620 If I want something right now, if children want this, it needs to be right now.
00:42:42.740 And he was complaining that people think he's not safe around kids anymore.
00:42:46.620 And one thing that was pointed out in this was that the streams immediately became a little bit more awkward than they'd been before.
00:42:53.520 Although there could have been a number of reasons for that.
00:42:55.660 And a lot of people were critical of this, but a lot of people were critical of the situation as well.
00:42:59.640 Because, dude, you left your wife and kids so that you could prance about in dresses.
00:43:04.580 This led to a statement from Mr. Beast last year, April 13th.
00:43:08.940 Yeah, this is getting absurd.
00:43:10.440 Chris isn't my nightmare.
00:43:11.740 He's my effing friend and things are fine.
00:43:14.000 All this transphobia is starting to piss me off.
00:43:17.260 This was in response to somebody posting this.
00:43:20.460 So, yeah, there was quite a few people doing the Simpsons meme of saying that he's not your nightmare yet.
00:43:26.780 And that was rather prophetic.
00:43:29.000 Because despite all of the controversy surrounding the Sunny V2 video,
00:43:33.620 turns out in the end, he won.
00:43:37.140 And to summarize some of the information from this video,
00:43:39.620 the satisfying downfall of Chris Tyson, which came out from the Internet Anarchist.
00:43:45.200 So, to summarize the situation, so what happens?
00:43:48.280 Chris got into an argument with some rando on Twitter
00:43:51.360 and decided as part of this to dox his old Reddit account.
00:43:55.880 And the claim that was made was that you recently got addicted to pornography.
00:44:02.040 It's warped your mind and you've started wearing dresses to satisfy your strange fetish and perversion.
00:44:08.000 And he was like, haha, actually, I was always a pervert and showed a picture of himself from his old Reddit account from 2015 or something where he was in a dress.
00:44:18.360 People then went, hold up, so you've got an old Reddit account that we weren't aware of.
00:44:23.100 Let's look into this.
00:44:23.880 They look at the old account archives and find him making weird comments about watching lolly pornography,
00:44:30.260 commenting about it under pictures of teenagers.
00:44:33.580 And they found old screenshots of his old tweets where he's also being strange around teenagers.
00:44:38.500 They also find a lot of support for a particular artist called Shadman.
00:44:43.060 Shadman, do you know who this is?
00:44:45.860 No.
00:44:46.400 He's kind of one of those dark side of the internet people that you don't want to be aware of.
00:44:51.680 Sadly, I was aware of him and now I'm going to enlighten you and our audience as well.
00:44:56.720 So, first of all, I want to make it clear.
00:44:58.700 This man was always said to be Swiss, a Swiss internet artist.
00:45:04.080 But I only recently learned in researching this.
00:45:06.460 His real name is Shadai Prajeen and his face has been doxxed and he's clearly Indian.
00:45:14.280 What, with a name like that?
00:45:15.700 No way.
00:45:16.440 I know.
00:45:16.940 So, this is a man who draws artwork.
00:45:20.260 Not safe for work, pornographic artwork.
00:45:23.080 And he has literally drawn pornographic artwork of real children,
00:45:28.100 including Keemstar's like 10 to 12-year-old daughter.
00:45:31.700 And lots and lots of really messed up stuff.
00:45:36.380 Chris, it turns out, was a big fan.
00:45:38.440 Not only was he supporting this guy for a long time,
00:45:41.900 he also actually owns a print of a Shadman artwork of an underaged anime character
00:45:48.240 doing terrible things.
00:45:51.300 Not only does he own that, he owned it and had it as the centerpiece on the wall in his living room.
00:45:56.360 And you can see pictures of it in an old Mr. Beast video.
00:46:01.820 When they were all hanging out at Chris's house.
00:46:04.680 So, that's pretty messed up.
00:46:07.060 Mr. Beast also interacted with a Shadman tweet back in 2018.
00:46:11.040 So, this is the guy who is at the top of the family-friendly, kids-friendly, biggest YouTube channel
00:46:16.080 on the platform.
00:46:18.020 People were starting to come out with proof of having spoken to him when they were about 14 years old,
00:46:24.720 when he was in his 20s.
00:46:26.440 A Twitter account, GNN, posted a video of inside Chris's Discord,
00:46:31.520 which will show some of the stuff that came from the Discord,
00:46:33.820 where he's on a voice chat speaking about sexual topics with at least one known minor on there.
00:46:39.960 Very strange.
00:46:41.120 And then there was a guy called Lava who was involved in all of this,
00:46:43.820 who won a competition and won a CSGO knife from the Mr. Beast platform.
00:46:50.200 And he got in touch with Chris and the team to get it all sorted.
00:46:53.520 And through discussions with them, he ended up becoming a chat mod for their Discord
00:46:57.700 and was featured in a gaming video.
00:47:00.640 All of this started when he was about 13 years old.
00:47:03.820 Dear Lord, that's weird.
00:47:05.000 Lava ended up exchanging Snapchats with Chris and lots of inappropriate jokes about sending nudes,
00:47:12.520 mainly coming from Chris.
00:47:14.300 The guy who released the video that exposed all of this did go about it all in a very sleazy way.
00:47:20.780 He was lying that he was doing it for a job interview to get a lot of this information from Lava,
00:47:25.860 who is 20 years old now, which has led to a lot of criticism and some people trying to discredit it.
00:47:31.960 But a lot has come out since then, which we'll go over.
00:47:35.740 So here you go.
00:47:36.960 So this person, after all this came out, this guy called Nathan W came out,
00:47:41.760 said that he had been explicitly groomed by Chris when he was a teenager
00:47:46.140 and had been working for Mr. Beast for a short amount of time.
00:47:49.600 He's claiming that Lava, who has come out since then and said,
00:47:52.960 no, no, no, I wasn't groomed.
00:47:54.480 It was all jokes.
00:47:55.260 It was nothing.
00:47:56.560 He's saying that Lava was probably paid and is also because he was working for Mr. Beast.
00:48:01.060 Mr. Beast contractually has probably signed an NDA, meaning that he can't say anything.
00:48:05.260 These are all allegations.
00:48:06.840 Mr. Beast does make people sign NDAs.
00:48:09.500 We know that much, at least.
00:48:10.880 So that's perfectly feasible.
00:48:12.440 Yeah.
00:48:12.620 And a lot of people are also making the allegations that Mr. Beast knew
00:48:15.980 and is probably involved with some other dodgy stuff.
00:48:18.700 So far, it's absolutely vile.
00:48:23.400 I'm going to get difficult to listen to.
00:48:26.100 Yep.
00:48:26.460 This is what's been going on.
00:48:28.100 This has been going on for weeks now, all of these allegations coming out
00:48:31.880 since around last month.
00:48:33.120 So I'm doing my best to try and summarize it all.
00:48:35.920 Brother, ew.
00:48:36.780 Yeah, that's appropriate.
00:48:39.340 So he released all of the Discord leaks that were available to him,
00:48:44.080 which was over 500,000 messages on this GitHub link.
00:48:49.020 Now, you have to download it as zip files,
00:48:51.280 but thankfully he's posted some stuff on here
00:48:53.960 and a lot of people have gone through all of the leaks themselves
00:48:57.660 and found some of the most damning stuff.
00:48:59.900 So you can see here some stuff where Chris the meme god
00:49:04.060 is Ava Chris Tyson.
00:49:06.400 Of course, yeah.
00:49:07.420 Talking about how he has a not safe for work bot on this Discord,
00:49:13.780 talking about gay stuff.
00:49:15.320 Uh, I believe in a free not safe for work channel.
00:49:19.420 If people want to catch the gay, that's fine by me.
00:49:22.640 Bear in mind that this is a chat which has 13 and 14 year olds in it as well.
00:49:28.600 Making inappropriate jokes,
00:49:30.480 saying things like he was putting his nudes in this Discord channel.
00:49:34.060 All sorts of really weird stuff.
00:49:35.680 And also, this is what was available to,
00:49:39.380 excuse me, Nathan,
00:49:42.260 because Lava and others had cleansed the Discord
00:49:45.420 when it went public around middle of 2019 as well.
00:49:49.300 So there was probably a lot worse stuff on there
00:49:51.020 that we just don't have access to anymore.
00:49:53.320 So here's somebody who put,
00:49:54.860 here's the worst of the Chris Tyson leaks.
00:49:58.140 So this person went through
00:49:59.560 as much of the 500,000 leak messages as possible
00:50:03.140 and found some of the weird stuff.
00:50:04.640 So here's Chris just sharing Shadman's website.
00:50:09.800 Again, this is a disgusting Indian man
00:50:14.260 who draws pornographic pictures of actual children
00:50:18.460 who Chris has had printed artwork of displayed in his home.
00:50:24.300 Is there any sort of criminal action being leveled at him?
00:50:27.320 Surely this can't be legal to do, right?
00:50:29.860 I don't know.
00:50:30.800 I don't know.
00:50:31.480 There's also MrBeast himself appeared to have been in this Discord
00:50:36.640 and commented, again, very inappropriate,
00:50:39.500 with loads of children around,
00:50:41.100 talking about the size of Chris's penis.
00:50:44.000 Very strange.
00:50:45.720 Lava himself,
00:50:47.640 who, again, is 20 now.
00:50:50.260 So if this is five years ago,
00:50:52.240 was at least a teenager,
00:50:54.140 making inappropriate jokes.
00:50:55.700 Again, it's, once again,
00:50:57.480 whether or not he was actually grooming these kids
00:51:00.960 or actually sharing pictures of himself with these children,
00:51:05.580 whether or not it was all jokes,
00:51:06.660 this is obviously incredibly inappropriate
00:51:09.020 and incredibly inappropriate
00:51:10.160 that the MrBeast website,
00:51:11.780 which is child-friendly and targeted at children,
00:51:15.100 explicitly so,
00:51:16.120 according to a lot of stuff that's come out,
00:51:17.560 they use basically advanced psychological techniques
00:51:21.280 to try and win children onto the website
00:51:23.540 and onto the channel.
00:51:24.300 Well, it's basically,
00:51:25.080 they use the notion that by engaging
00:51:29.180 and dealing with MrBeast,
00:51:30.840 by either subscribing or buying his merch
00:51:33.920 or joining his website
00:51:35.840 or going into Discord
00:51:37.060 or whatever it is he's doing,
00:51:38.880 he tries to associate that with positive reinforcement.
00:51:42.220 He's using behavioral conditioning
00:51:44.380 to say, more or less,
00:51:46.440 you know how much money I have, right?
00:51:48.300 Well, every time you do something I like,
00:51:50.240 I give you money or prizes
00:51:51.740 or you have a chance to win
00:51:53.020 and I've got so much money
00:51:54.700 that your chance is pretty good.
00:51:56.140 I mean, it's better than most other prize draws,
00:51:57.840 so do it.
00:51:59.040 And, you know, it's the same with his chocolate
00:52:00.800 where it's just,
00:52:03.180 as one of the videos said,
00:52:06.100 it's more gambling.
00:52:06.320 This is all spoken about in this video.
00:52:09.020 I work for MrBeast, he's a fraud,
00:52:10.580 where the creator of this video
00:52:13.120 talks about the psychological techniques
00:52:15.340 that they use,
00:52:16.340 about the sorts of ways
00:52:17.700 that they use the chocolate company
00:52:19.420 and the burger company
00:52:20.420 basically as a way to promote
00:52:21.740 what could be possibly considered
00:52:24.120 to be illegal gambling activities,
00:52:28.420 which is very, very interesting.
00:52:30.020 I'd recommend watching this video
00:52:31.320 for a full breakdown.
00:52:32.420 At the beginning of this video,
00:52:33.860 he says that he was actually going to speak
00:52:37.000 about all of the dodgy Chris stuff
00:52:38.640 in a part two or part three,
00:52:40.940 and it was actually
00:52:41.720 as he was producing this video
00:52:43.240 that all of that came out.
00:52:44.620 But he explicitly says
00:52:46.120 that MrBeast knows
00:52:47.780 and that it's only the tip of the iceberg.
00:52:50.480 Because again,
00:52:51.380 when you're engaging
00:52:52.100 in those kinds of practices
00:52:53.240 to try and create a buy-in
00:52:55.540 for an audience
00:52:56.400 almost entirely made of children,
00:52:58.720 and then there's a chance
00:53:00.140 that those children
00:53:00.720 might end up in a Discord with you
00:53:02.700 because you're very open
00:53:03.700 to that stuff
00:53:04.440 where they all get exposed to,
00:53:08.840 like 13-year-olds
00:53:10.040 getting exposed to this,
00:53:11.000 getting exposed to literally
00:53:12.260 a website of,
00:53:13.720 let's be honest,
00:53:14.900 drawn child pornography.
00:53:16.760 This is not appropriate.
00:53:18.780 This is awful,
00:53:19.960 and this should be condemned utterly.
00:53:22.920 And there was also this
00:53:24.160 that came out at the same time,
00:53:25.680 which was another transvestite
00:53:27.620 coming out with this massive
00:53:28.900 allegation of sexual assault
00:53:30.820 from Chris that happened
00:53:32.100 between 2022-2023.
00:53:34.620 I read through the whole thing.
00:53:36.360 Honestly, I don't believe
00:53:37.400 that this would qualify
00:53:38.240 as sexual assault,
00:53:39.560 but definitely strange
00:53:41.020 and coercive,
00:53:42.100 dishonest behavior.
00:53:43.200 Whereas one of those ones
00:53:44.120 where they invoke power dynamics
00:53:45.580 and say,
00:53:46.120 I was lied to consistently
00:53:48.560 about the ability of Chris
00:53:50.040 to get me a job
00:53:50.820 working for MrBeast.
00:53:52.120 He had me over for an interview.
00:53:53.840 I ended up staying at his house,
00:53:55.520 engaged in sexual activities
00:53:57.700 that weren't reciprocated,
00:53:58.820 reciprocated,
00:53:59.540 felt that there was
00:54:00.260 a coercive pressure
00:54:01.200 for me to keep this up
00:54:03.120 so that I could get a job
00:54:04.380 and the job never went.
00:54:07.380 The job never ended up materializing.
00:54:09.520 So it's not explicit sexual assault,
00:54:11.620 though it doesn't sound like
00:54:12.420 he actually forced himself.
00:54:13.620 Still what Harvey Weinstein did.
00:54:15.040 Yeah, well, that's true.
00:54:16.060 It's still very scummy.
00:54:17.720 Very, very scummy behavior.
00:54:20.400 And since all of this has come out,
00:54:22.220 there have been a few denials.
00:54:23.700 First, Chris said,
00:54:25.020 here's my denial statement.
00:54:26.300 I would like to apologize
00:54:27.360 for any of my past behavior.
00:54:28.860 If it hurt or offended anyone,
00:54:30.140 it wasn't my intent.
00:54:31.660 I want to add,
00:54:32.600 I never groomed anybody.
00:54:34.060 Person who gets brought up
00:54:35.080 in these accusations,
00:54:36.480 Lava has vocally supported
00:54:37.980 that they are false.
00:54:39.500 Nathan contests this
00:54:40.740 and says that it's because
00:54:41.620 he's either been paid off
00:54:42.600 or because of the NDA.
00:54:43.900 And he does say,
00:54:44.980 and a few other people have said,
00:54:46.220 that Lava definitely was.
00:54:47.740 But again,
00:54:48.300 these are allegations and hearsay
00:54:49.920 to a particular extent.
00:54:52.980 Lava, again,
00:54:54.140 here you go,
00:54:54.680 saying these are lies
00:54:56.140 and twisting the truth.
00:54:57.240 But then all of the discord leaks dropped
00:54:59.360 and he came out with this statement.
00:55:01.860 Okay.
00:55:03.300 Maybe it was bad.
00:55:04.920 Maybe it was really bad
00:55:06.260 that all of these teenagers...
00:55:07.800 They were implicated
00:55:08.200 all of a sudden, right?
00:55:09.280 Yeah.
00:55:09.520 After reading the chat logs,
00:55:10.640 that stuff was inappropriate and wrong.
00:55:12.280 I spoke post in memory
00:55:13.320 of the situation.
00:55:14.200 I still do not remember
00:55:14.940 these conversations,
00:55:15.820 but they definitely happen.
00:55:17.300 Conversations should not have happened
00:55:18.740 with people at the age
00:55:19.620 I was at the time.
00:55:21.900 Strongly condemn them.
00:55:22.980 I still believe I'm not a grooming victim,
00:55:25.000 but these conversations
00:55:25.780 should not have happened with me
00:55:27.580 and any other minor in this discord.
00:55:29.360 And then he clarifies saying that,
00:55:31.260 oh, this is only regarding the discord.
00:55:33.200 He definitely didn't groom me.
00:55:34.600 And then he goes on to say
00:55:35.980 this next statement.
00:55:37.440 Whilst not nearly as damning
00:55:38.660 as everyone thought they would be,
00:55:40.020 there's a few individuals,
00:55:41.480 one named Milk,
00:55:42.360 who needs to be looked into.
00:55:43.880 All of these people
00:55:44.540 need to be looked into.
00:55:45.740 But this is an incredible statement
00:55:47.640 right here.
00:55:48.320 At one point,
00:55:48.980 I was an edgy teenage Gmod kid
00:55:50.900 and said some weird S to be jokes.
00:55:53.040 I also had some very,
00:55:54.780 very right leaning views.
00:55:57.600 Okay.
00:55:58.420 So what he's trying to say there is,
00:56:00.440 oh, it was nothing bad.
00:56:01.520 It was just edgy jokes.
00:56:02.520 And I only made those edgy jokes
00:56:04.220 about being nonston
00:56:06.380 and the sending nudes
00:56:08.700 to an older man
00:56:09.760 when I was a teenager
00:56:10.460 because I was a right wing.
00:56:13.360 Question mark.
00:56:14.820 These things don't line up at all.
00:56:16.560 It's normally the opposite,
00:56:18.440 isn't it?
00:56:19.160 Isn't it normally the right wing
00:56:20.580 that is the most virulently
00:56:22.720 against this sort of thing?
00:56:24.840 Who knows?
00:56:26.080 Who knows?
00:56:26.760 And then Mr. Beast himself
00:56:27.780 has made an obligatory statement
00:56:29.700 saying that,
00:56:30.440 I can't believe all of these,
00:56:31.660 all of this behavior
00:56:32.820 has been going online.
00:56:33.780 I totally didn't know
00:56:35.080 about any of it.
00:56:36.420 He's left the company now
00:56:37.880 and we'll be doing
00:56:38.620 a comprehensive investigation
00:56:40.040 with a third party
00:56:41.680 so that we can find out
00:56:43.740 what the truth is to these.
00:56:44.880 So that's the Mr. Beast situation
00:56:46.880 as it exists right now.
00:56:48.840 By the sounds of it,
00:56:49.940 more allegations
00:56:50.700 might come out in the future.
00:56:52.220 So we'll keep you posted
00:56:53.600 if anything interesting comes up.
00:56:55.160 Obviously to say
00:56:56.080 everything involved in this
00:56:57.520 is completely disgusting
00:56:58.560 and heinous.
00:56:59.260 And if there is more involvement
00:57:00.680 and it goes even beyond
00:57:01.940 what we've already seen,
00:57:02.960 which is already enough
00:57:03.640 to condemn these people,
00:57:04.880 then it's vile
00:57:06.420 and disgusting.
00:57:08.440 And perhaps there might be
00:57:09.720 criminal charges.
00:57:10.440 Who knows?
00:57:11.580 Anyway,
00:57:12.560 Samson has let me know
00:57:13.580 that people want
00:57:14.640 the Assassin's Creed one.
00:57:17.300 The people have spoken.
00:57:18.540 The people have spoken.
00:57:19.620 Vox Populi.
00:57:20.960 Vox Day.
00:57:21.700 Vox Day.
00:57:22.740 So yeah,
00:57:23.200 let's talk about
00:57:23.860 Assassin's Creed as well then.
00:57:25.160 This one will be more fun.
00:57:26.580 It's not about pedophilia.
00:57:27.780 It's not about people
00:57:28.540 murdering anybody so far.
00:57:31.320 It should be interesting.
00:57:31.980 First,
00:57:32.200 I'll just quickly go through
00:57:33.180 some of the rumble rants.
00:57:35.180 Where is my,
00:57:35.740 where's the on button on this?
00:57:37.160 I've got the,
00:57:37.820 I can read these for you.
00:57:39.040 Yes,
00:57:39.520 yes,
00:57:39.780 please do.
00:57:40.240 So Squishy Hunter says,
00:57:41.860 for those wishing to prepare,
00:57:43.160 I point you to Joe Dollio
00:57:44.960 and his tactical wisdom books,
00:57:46.600 invaluable preparation material.
00:57:48.460 So some prepper advice there.
00:57:50.340 Bold Eagle,
00:57:51.140 1787,
00:57:53.240 the whole trying to shift the blame
00:57:54.740 onto Mr. Beast
00:57:55.420 reeks of a psyop
00:57:56.280 to cover up the laundering
00:57:57.460 of money that aid organizations
00:57:59.080 and governments
00:57:59.600 have been doing
00:58:00.240 when it comes to charity.
00:58:02.280 That's interesting.
00:58:03.280 Interesting conjecture and theory,
00:58:04.740 but very interesting.
00:58:06.200 Binary Surfer says,
00:58:07.140 oh look,
00:58:07.720 that turns out
00:58:08.260 that almost all the male
00:58:10.240 to female trans folks
00:58:11.580 are basically sexual predators
00:58:12.880 acting out of fetish.
00:58:14.580 This has been known about
00:58:15.560 by law enforcement
00:58:16.960 as a correlation
00:58:18.100 for 50 years.
00:58:19.620 Yes,
00:58:19.940 in fact,
00:58:20.360 I covered it at university.
00:58:22.100 It's amazing how
00:58:23.440 the cutoff period
00:58:27.420 between when I went to university
00:58:28.700 and what it's like now.
00:58:30.120 I was told race realist stuff.
00:58:33.440 That's still remarkable to me.
00:58:35.140 You got taught like Charles Murray
00:58:37.000 race and IQ stuff.
00:58:38.360 Yeah,
00:58:38.520 I did.
00:58:38.940 I got told the correlation
00:58:40.800 between transsexualism
00:58:42.420 and crime
00:58:43.040 and all sorts of weird things
00:58:45.000 that you wouldn't expect.
00:58:46.060 Are you sure you didn't have
00:58:47.100 a rogue professor teaching you?
00:58:48.620 Well,
00:58:48.720 it was multiple.
00:58:50.220 Multiple rogue professors
00:58:51.660 had managed to sneak in
00:58:52.960 and take over your department.
00:58:54.280 You know,
00:58:54.600 when people say,
00:58:55.340 hello,
00:58:55.620 base department,
00:58:56.380 I think I went to the base department.
00:58:58.820 Can you let me in?
00:59:00.280 Can you show me the light,
00:59:01.620 please?
00:59:02.460 Either way.
00:59:02.980 Yeah.
00:59:04.700 Let's just say there's a reason
00:59:05.980 that when it turned out
00:59:07.080 that Norman Bates
00:59:09.100 in Psycho
00:59:09.900 was a cross-dresser,
00:59:11.360 nobody blinked their eyes
00:59:12.480 back in the day.
00:59:13.360 No.
00:59:13.860 Everyone went,
00:59:14.860 of course,
00:59:16.180 of course he is.
00:59:18.140 Anyway,
00:59:19.480 so Assassin's Creed
00:59:20.880 is in big trouble
00:59:21.740 with Japan.
00:59:23.820 Who saw this coming?
00:59:25.060 No,
00:59:25.320 wait,
00:59:25.640 literally everyone.
00:59:26.460 Nobody thought
00:59:27.400 that this would be a thing
00:59:28.280 a few years ago.
00:59:29.160 I know,
00:59:29.400 I've already covered this
00:59:30.780 in some detail,
00:59:31.480 but there's been some development
00:59:32.440 since then,
00:59:33.640 so go back and watch
00:59:34.720 the original video.
00:59:36.100 Suffice to say,
00:59:37.200 they put a black man
00:59:38.340 as the protagonist
00:59:39.140 in the new Assassin's Creed game,
00:59:41.380 which isn't out yet,
00:59:42.580 said he's historically accurate,
00:59:44.360 he was an actual black samurai,
00:59:46.080 trust us, bro,
00:59:46.820 we've got historian.
00:59:48.280 If you look into the details
00:59:49.720 of what's actually written
00:59:50.660 about this man,
00:59:51.640 historically,
00:59:52.420 Yasuke,
00:59:53.300 the actual documents
00:59:54.320 that you can use
00:59:55.580 to learn about him,
00:59:56.720 maybe constitute
00:59:57.600 a single page.
00:59:58.960 all of it,
01:00:01.120 wildly ambiguous.
01:00:03.480 Also,
01:00:04.240 there's the sort of framing
01:00:05.420 of,
01:00:06.260 in the game,
01:00:07.800 your character
01:00:08.360 is basically unstoppable
01:00:09.700 if you can play the game
01:00:10.780 well enough,
01:00:11.640 and so the framing of,
01:00:13.380 well,
01:00:14.060 this black guy
01:00:14.680 is so much better
01:00:15.840 at violence
01:00:16.420 than all of these
01:00:17.040 Japanese people,
01:00:17.920 my goodness.
01:00:18.640 Why would Ubisoft
01:00:19.580 say such a thing?
01:00:20.660 Also,
01:00:21.020 after the recent incidents
01:00:22.900 over the past few years
01:00:24.120 in states like California,
01:00:26.080 for instance,
01:00:26.540 now you get
01:00:27.440 the Californian
01:00:28.480 street simulator
01:00:29.460 of playing as a black man
01:00:30.860 enacting random violence
01:00:32.320 on Japanese people.
01:00:35.380 That's so dark,
01:00:36.520 I shouldn't laugh.
01:00:37.520 Interesting move,
01:00:38.740 Ubisoft,
01:00:39.380 let's see how it plays out.
01:00:41.420 So,
01:00:41.800 gotta give credit
01:00:42.640 to It's a Gundam,
01:00:44.100 his recent video
01:00:45.140 on all of the drama
01:00:46.420 was a great resource
01:00:47.480 for pointing me
01:00:48.100 in the right direction
01:00:48.820 for a lot of this.
01:00:49.860 I want to highlight as well
01:00:51.160 that when it comes to
01:00:52.480 why this is being done,
01:00:54.280 obviously it's an attempt
01:00:56.080 to introduce the kind
01:00:59.220 of historical revisionism
01:01:00.520 that we're experiencing
01:01:01.380 in the West
01:01:02.000 into Japan
01:01:03.180 and it does seem
01:01:04.100 to be fooling people
01:01:05.120 already because
01:01:05.980 for some reason
01:01:06.980 African Twitter
01:01:08.160 seems to be uniquely
01:01:09.620 easy to fool.
01:01:11.380 You mean they're gullible people?
01:01:14.220 I don't know
01:01:14.900 what you're talking about.
01:01:16.180 This is an actual photograph
01:01:17.580 taken in maybe
01:01:18.700 the mid-17th century.
01:01:20.880 Actual photograph?
01:01:22.420 Yes.
01:01:22.640 From African hub,
01:01:24.140 Black Samurai in Japan.
01:01:25.300 Japan is just very
01:01:26.220 technologically advanced,
01:01:27.480 you see.
01:01:28.140 Obviously because
01:01:28.860 of all of the Black Samurai.
01:01:30.860 It was the cultural enrichment
01:01:31.900 that actually allowed them
01:01:33.120 to go through
01:01:33.740 the industrial period
01:01:34.740 and get photography
01:01:35.820 before everyone else.
01:01:36.760 And here's another
01:01:37.700 real photograph
01:01:38.700 that I found.
01:01:41.880 It's not...
01:01:42.940 It's Emperor Nasheed
01:01:46.420 to you.
01:01:47.540 Imperial Emperor Nasheed
01:01:49.380 here is fantastic.
01:01:52.640 This is a joke
01:01:54.520 but this is what
01:01:55.340 a certain percentage
01:01:57.220 of the American
01:01:58.160 Black population
01:01:59.040 will unironically believe.
01:02:00.800 I can guarantee it.
01:02:02.080 They're going to be
01:02:02.420 showing us photos
01:02:03.180 of we was pharaohs.
01:02:04.740 Look, we've got
01:02:05.420 photographic evidence.
01:02:06.280 We were samurais.
01:02:07.900 And of course Reddit
01:02:10.240 has decided that
01:02:11.220 if you want to talk
01:02:12.000 about Assassin's Creed
01:02:12.900 and the actual
01:02:13.380 historical accuracy
01:02:14.520 of all of this
01:02:15.440 that's going on
01:02:16.180 because again,
01:02:17.300 Yasuke is being presented
01:02:18.680 by the game.
01:02:19.680 Yasuke.
01:02:20.460 He's being presented
01:02:21.660 as a historical figure
01:02:23.660 who actually was
01:02:24.520 the original
01:02:25.380 Black Samurai.
01:02:26.700 I don't know why
01:02:27.460 they always say original
01:02:28.380 because are there
01:02:29.600 any these days?
01:02:30.720 There have been
01:02:31.040 so many copycats.
01:02:32.640 Oh, of course.
01:02:33.540 All those Black Samurais,
01:02:35.220 you know.
01:02:35.360 Yeah.
01:02:35.860 They've said
01:02:36.440 there is no debate.
01:02:38.940 Yasuke was a samurai.
01:02:40.640 Just imagine the crying
01:02:41.780 liberal soy jack.
01:02:43.220 He was.
01:02:43.800 He was a samurai.
01:02:44.640 If you disagree,
01:02:46.100 you can do that
01:02:46.760 somewhere else.
01:02:47.880 That's definitive proof
01:02:49.140 that they must have
01:02:50.040 all the evidence
01:02:50.640 that they're just
01:02:51.220 dismissiving.
01:02:52.980 What you do is
01:02:53.900 if you're 100%
01:02:55.700 confident
01:02:57.140 and honest
01:02:58.320 in your judgments,
01:02:59.420 you ban all dissent
01:03:00.660 from them.
01:03:01.300 That's what normally
01:03:02.100 happens, right?
01:03:03.340 So interestingly,
01:03:04.360 if you read through this,
01:03:05.660 the kind of argument
01:03:06.760 they use is the same
01:03:07.900 argument that we'll be
01:03:08.720 seeing from Ubisoft
01:03:09.820 when they're addressing
01:03:10.540 the controversy
01:03:11.220 where they basically say
01:03:12.440 it's not supposed to be
01:03:13.480 that accurate.
01:03:14.180 It's supposed to
01:03:15.280 inspire you
01:03:16.360 to do your own research,
01:03:17.920 which is obvious BS
01:03:19.600 because they know
01:03:20.440 99% of people
01:03:22.120 who are going to play
01:03:22.840 a game that's supposedly
01:03:23.940 historical fiction
01:03:24.920 are going to be too lazy
01:03:26.420 to do their own research
01:03:28.140 and what they will
01:03:28.960 instead do
01:03:29.540 is take the game
01:03:30.340 at face value
01:03:31.060 and assume that
01:03:31.920 they're being given
01:03:32.920 an accurate picture
01:03:34.160 of history.
01:03:35.260 This is what Hollywood
01:03:36.240 has banked on
01:03:37.240 for decades
01:03:38.220 at this point.
01:03:39.500 So obviously
01:03:40.300 we know the playbook.
01:03:42.240 Interestingly enough,
01:03:43.080 this knowledge,
01:03:44.560 the fact that it's
01:03:45.100 misrepresenting
01:03:45.860 Japanese history
01:03:46.640 has meant that
01:03:48.360 they might get in
01:03:49.020 trouble with the
01:03:49.520 Japanese government.
01:03:51.920 So the Japanese
01:03:53.020 government is now
01:03:53.780 looking into
01:03:54.280 Assassin's Creed
01:03:54.960 for an alternation
01:03:56.020 of Japanese history.
01:03:57.740 So what this article
01:03:58.880 from that park place
01:04:00.060 says,
01:04:01.460 reading into it,
01:04:02.680 is one,
01:04:03.280 there's a petition
01:04:03.860 in Japan
01:04:04.540 which has got over
01:04:05.260 81,000 signatures
01:04:06.560 already
01:04:07.020 to just not
01:04:07.920 release the game
01:04:08.680 in Japan.
01:04:09.240 Completely ban it
01:04:10.000 from being released
01:04:10.780 there.
01:04:11.680 And the Japanese
01:04:12.260 government is looking
01:04:13.300 to potentially
01:04:14.600 once it's been released
01:04:15.620 take it before
01:04:16.580 the Diet
01:04:17.100 which I believe
01:04:17.800 is the legislative
01:04:18.920 body
01:04:19.500 similar to
01:04:20.500 Parliament and ours
01:04:21.540 and launch an
01:04:23.200 investigation
01:04:23.740 one,
01:04:24.480 into the accuracy
01:04:25.260 of Yasuke
01:04:25.900 as a historical figure
01:04:27.120 and two,
01:04:28.560 whatever legislation
01:04:30.200 they can put forward
01:04:31.500 about the fact
01:04:32.480 that it's misrepresenting
01:04:33.600 Japanese history
01:04:34.400 to an enormous
01:04:35.620 audience
01:04:36.100 because of course
01:04:36.640 Assassin's Creed
01:04:37.580 has a huge audience.
01:04:39.240 Now I would say
01:04:39.860 that this sort of thing
01:04:40.580 should have already
01:04:41.300 been done
01:04:41.800 because one of the
01:04:43.080 more recent
01:04:43.660 Assassin's Creed games
01:04:44.900 was Viking
01:04:45.800 or Valhalla
01:04:46.580 wasn't it?
01:04:47.060 Valhalla, yeah.
01:04:47.540 Where it's mainly
01:04:48.640 set I believe
01:04:49.720 in western Norway
01:04:51.960 and north eastern
01:04:53.120 England
01:04:53.640 and of course
01:04:55.000 it's set in what
01:04:55.760 the 9th or 10th century?
01:04:57.740 It'd probably be
01:04:58.680 the 8th.
01:04:59.860 Yeah, maybe even
01:05:00.520 the 8th century.
01:05:01.200 I can't remember.
01:05:01.700 And the black people.
01:05:03.160 Are they really?
01:05:03.940 Yes.
01:05:04.400 Of course there are.
01:05:05.260 They were always here.
01:05:06.400 There's black Vikings
01:05:07.500 so honestly
01:05:08.820 we should have done
01:05:10.380 something like this
01:05:11.220 as well
01:05:11.440 for misrepresenting
01:05:12.380 our history.
01:05:13.160 Why would Ubisoft
01:05:13.920 insert a people
01:05:15.160 known for
01:05:16.300 murdering
01:05:17.160 and stealing
01:05:17.860 and raping?
01:05:21.080 Maybe they
01:05:21.740 oh
01:05:21.960 oh what
01:05:22.620 the Vikings
01:05:23.140 were rapists?
01:05:24.000 Don't worry
01:05:24.400 I got you bro.
01:05:26.420 Maybe that's
01:05:27.180 what was going on.
01:05:28.000 Maybe the French
01:05:28.780 just
01:05:29.060 oh
01:05:29.760 oh whoopsie daisy
01:05:31.120 honest mistake.
01:05:32.200 They're just really
01:05:32.520 really far right.
01:05:33.620 that's what Ubisoft are.
01:05:35.160 I should have known.
01:05:36.340 I should have known.
01:05:36.800 But no honestly
01:05:37.520 the British Parliament
01:05:38.620 should have done this as well.
01:05:40.300 Any
01:05:40.620 any kind of
01:05:41.980 mass media
01:05:42.940 like this
01:05:43.580 which is clearly
01:05:44.400 targeted as a way
01:05:45.540 of warping people's
01:05:46.800 understanding of history
01:05:47.780 in a way that is
01:05:48.520 negative towards them
01:05:49.740 should get this
01:05:51.480 kind of treatment
01:05:52.040 as far as I'm concerned.
01:05:53.360 see things
01:05:54.380 that you know
01:05:55.640 Black Henry VIII
01:05:57.180 or you know
01:05:57.780 Black Anne Boleyn
01:05:58.800 or
01:05:59.740 Bridgerton
01:06:01.120 just anything
01:06:01.960 that portrays
01:06:03.180 British history
01:06:03.920 and it inserts
01:06:05.320 people that didn't
01:06:06.180 belong
01:06:06.520 at the time
01:06:07.620 ban.
01:06:08.540 If only some of those
01:06:09.820 weren't already
01:06:10.540 state funded.
01:06:12.580 Again Ubisoft
01:06:13.580 made a statement
01:06:14.420 about this
01:06:15.200 where they
01:06:16.160 make all the excuses
01:06:17.960 that you can expect
01:06:18.820 it's a
01:06:19.300 we've wanted to do
01:06:21.000 feudal Japan
01:06:21.740 for so long
01:06:22.780 ignore in 2016
01:06:23.780 where we said
01:06:24.400 that would be boring
01:06:25.240 this is a completely
01:06:26.080 different team at this
01:06:27.020 point let's be honest
01:06:27.860 we're not supposed
01:06:29.440 to be factually
01:06:30.760 representing history
01:06:32.680 or historical characters
01:06:34.000 instead we aim to
01:06:34.880 spark curiosity
01:06:36.020 and encourage players
01:06:37.380 to explore and learn
01:06:38.440 more about historical
01:06:39.440 settings we get
01:06:40.880 inspired by.
01:06:41.780 I've already explained
01:06:42.400 how that argument
01:06:43.020 is obvious guff.
01:06:44.580 There are only 1%
01:06:45.360 of samurai
01:06:46.000 but commit
01:06:46.820 what percent?
01:06:48.660 A number of
01:06:49.900 assassinations?
01:06:50.640 52% of assassinations
01:06:52.440 yes.
01:06:52.860 Let's go with that.
01:06:53.780 And they even make
01:06:55.500 a stunning admission here
01:06:56.920 the representation
01:06:57.840 of Yasuke
01:06:59.020 in our game
01:06:59.700 is an illustration
01:07:00.420 of this
01:07:01.060 his unique
01:07:01.900 and mysterious life
01:07:02.640 made him an ideal
01:07:03.680 candidate to tell
01:07:04.760 an Assassin's Creed
01:07:05.560 story with the
01:07:06.580 setting of feudal
01:07:07.280 Japan as backdrop
01:07:08.160 while Yasuke
01:07:09.320 is depicted as a
01:07:10.240 samurai in Assassin's
01:07:11.160 Creed shadows
01:07:11.620 we acknowledge
01:07:13.020 that this is a
01:07:13.860 matter of debate
01:07:14.620 and discussion.
01:07:16.780 So okay
01:07:17.380 so you admit
01:07:17.980 he's not
01:07:18.420 he's not
01:07:19.460 it's conjecture
01:07:20.300 it's complete
01:07:21.040 BS
01:07:21.520 there was a
01:07:22.460 community note
01:07:23.220 on this
01:07:23.680 which has since
01:07:24.300 been deleted
01:07:24.940 because the
01:07:25.560 community notes
01:07:26.300 people sadly
01:07:27.920 seem to be
01:07:28.700 in a bit of
01:07:29.780 a tug of war
01:07:30.440 between the
01:07:31.000 leftist factions
01:07:32.540 and all other
01:07:34.020 factions
01:07:34.400 but it originally
01:07:35.080 said this
01:07:35.720 although it states
01:07:37.800 that the games
01:07:38.260 in the Assassin's
01:07:38.860 Creed series
01:07:39.280 are not made
01:07:39.680 with the purpose
01:07:40.100 of recreating
01:07:40.660 historical facts
01:07:41.580 or historical
01:07:42.140 figures
01:07:42.520 in an interview
01:07:43.300 the development
01:07:44.360 staff said
01:07:44.980 historical accuracy
01:07:45.900 has been confirmed
01:07:46.920 it has all the
01:07:48.100 information we need
01:07:48.960 to reconstruct
01:07:49.540 what Japan was
01:07:50.300 like in the
01:07:50.760 16th century
01:07:51.620 black on Japanese
01:07:52.640 violence and all
01:07:53.400 it's well described
01:07:55.060 conduct thorough
01:07:56.020 research and compare
01:07:56.960 the results with
01:07:57.580 experts
01:07:58.000 historical games
01:07:59.120 historical fidelity
01:08:00.040 maintained
01:08:01.080 cameras in the way
01:08:02.820 that's one of the
01:08:03.620 perks of these
01:08:04.220 games as well
01:08:04.840 is that you
01:08:05.460 know when I
01:08:06.660 went to Venice
01:08:07.220 after playing
01:08:08.140 Assassin's Creed 2
01:08:09.300 I knew my way
01:08:10.580 around because of
01:08:12.160 the recreation
01:08:12.780 that aspect of it
01:08:13.680 is really cool
01:08:14.280 and it's a shame
01:08:14.900 that these games
01:08:16.580 are lame and gay
01:08:17.320 and I'll never
01:08:19.060 buy them
01:08:19.520 yeah
01:08:19.800 but it carries on
01:08:22.000 with some more
01:08:23.280 excerpts from
01:08:23.800 another interview
01:08:24.540 it faithfully
01:08:26.020 depicts real
01:08:26.980 historical figures
01:08:27.800 and events
01:08:28.500 of the time
01:08:29.700 therefore this
01:08:30.560 message contradicts
01:08:31.460 previous statements
01:08:32.420 made by the
01:08:32.900 development staff
01:08:33.620 pretty damning
01:08:34.860 if you ask me
01:08:35.760 no wonder
01:08:36.600 rabid
01:08:37.560 insane
01:08:38.120 hateful leftists
01:08:39.640 wanted it taken
01:08:40.340 down
01:08:40.680 and the mainstream
01:08:42.160 media response
01:08:43.080 has been
01:08:44.420 starting to
01:08:45.800 gain
01:08:46.580 gain some steam
01:08:47.720 where they've got
01:08:48.280 their handy
01:08:49.340 book of responses
01:08:51.280 to this
01:08:51.780 actively calling
01:08:53.020 Japanese people
01:08:54.080 racist
01:08:54.960 for not wanting
01:08:56.480 their history
01:08:57.040 misrepresented
01:08:57.840 how dare you
01:08:59.460 not want to be
01:09:00.000 blackwashed
01:09:00.660 yeah and they say
01:09:02.000 some of the
01:09:02.820 games most vocal
01:09:03.660 critics claim
01:09:04.360 shadows is a part
01:09:05.260 of this hidden
01:09:05.800 agenda because
01:09:06.500 its protagonist
01:09:07.560 a black man
01:09:08.260 named Yasuke
01:09:08.960 was never a
01:09:09.760 samurai in real
01:09:10.480 life
01:09:10.800 again from the
01:09:11.700 information that
01:09:12.240 we have available
01:09:12.980 it's possible
01:09:14.300 but very unlikely
01:09:15.360 more likely he
01:09:16.380 was basically a
01:09:17.180 slave who was
01:09:17.840 traded to
01:09:18.580 Oda
01:09:19.040 Nobunagi
01:09:20.700 I think that's
01:09:21.640 his
01:09:21.720 Nobunaga
01:09:22.640 yes
01:09:23.020 thank you very
01:09:23.900 much for the
01:09:24.320 correction there
01:09:24.920 and was kept
01:09:26.220 as a retainer
01:09:26.920 for a time
01:09:27.380 until Nobunaga
01:09:28.060 was killed
01:09:28.640 in a coup
01:09:29.160 against him
01:09:29.760 at which point
01:09:30.220 he was given
01:09:30.740 back to the
01:09:31.380 Portuguese
01:09:31.820 Jesuits
01:09:32.580 that's basically
01:09:34.400 all we know
01:09:35.040 about him
01:09:35.600 and that he
01:09:36.700 was probably
01:09:37.440 a slave
01:09:38.180 from Mozambique
01:09:39.020 so he was
01:09:40.100 basically a
01:09:40.760 slave who
01:09:41.680 was traded
01:09:42.400 between the
01:09:43.300 Jesuits
01:09:43.860 and Oda
01:09:46.360 and then
01:09:47.080 given back
01:09:48.040 after Oda
01:09:48.700 died
01:09:49.100 oh my god
01:09:51.120 the original
01:09:51.720 black samurai
01:09:52.600 this guy's
01:09:53.280 so cool
01:09:54.260 they're grasping
01:09:56.740 at straws
01:09:57.420 here honestly
01:09:57.980 but this article
01:09:59.560 says
01:09:59.880 the only problem
01:10:00.960 he actually
01:10:01.960 was the
01:10:02.720 original black
01:10:03.500 samurai
01:10:03.960 according to
01:10:04.740 plenty of
01:10:05.280 historians
01:10:05.780 including
01:10:06.620 Japan's
01:10:07.740 very own
01:10:08.440 Yu
01:10:09.140 Hirayami
01:10:09.980 defending
01:10:11.020 its portrayal
01:10:11.680 of Yasuke
01:10:12.440 Ubisoft
01:10:13.000 states the
01:10:13.640 character's
01:10:14.080 historical
01:10:14.480 ambiguity
01:10:15.120 offered an
01:10:16.100 opportunity
01:10:16.840 to blend
01:10:17.660 fact and
01:10:18.220 fiction
01:10:18.540 to lie
01:10:19.180 to you
01:10:19.740 it also
01:10:20.640 maintains
01:10:21.100 that
01:10:21.360 Shadows
01:10:21.820 is primarily
01:10:22.360 designed as
01:10:22.980 entertainment
01:10:23.480 yada yada
01:10:24.680 yada yada
01:10:25.420 all of the
01:10:26.180 excuses that
01:10:26.760 we see
01:10:27.100 so that's
01:10:28.540 that's bs
01:10:29.160 but who's
01:10:29.900 this Japanese
01:10:30.400 guy
01:10:30.880 what's his
01:10:31.660 name again
01:10:32.100 Yu
01:10:32.740 Hirayami
01:10:33.400 well
01:10:33.840 he's a
01:10:35.160 globalist
01:10:35.600 chill
01:10:36.000 who'd have
01:10:38.180 expected that
01:10:39.020 one
01:10:39.260 I never would
01:10:39.680 have guessed
01:10:40.120 yeah well
01:10:40.700 so he is
01:10:42.160 obviously he's
01:10:42.800 gonna say that
01:10:43.340 partnered with
01:10:44.100 a company
01:10:44.560 called Pony
01:10:45.220 Canyon
01:10:45.560 a music and
01:10:46.180 entertainment
01:10:46.560 company to
01:10:47.120 promote Japanese
01:10:47.820 culture through
01:10:48.400 entertainment and
01:10:49.240 also a PR
01:10:50.320 media site trying
01:10:51.460 to globalize
01:10:52.600 along the
01:10:53.560 lines of the
01:10:54.180 west
01:10:54.620 2024 is
01:10:55.820 Pony Canyon's
01:10:56.600 first year of
01:10:57.220 globalization has
01:10:58.140 met with US
01:10:59.080 music industry
01:11:00.020 members and US
01:11:01.220 press to help
01:11:01.860 with the expansion
01:11:02.540 of their newly
01:11:03.440 established North
01:11:04.220 American branch
01:11:05.160 which seems to be
01:11:06.060 set in California
01:11:07.240 big surprise
01:11:08.800 big surprise
01:11:09.420 I wanted to make
01:11:10.280 sure that this was
01:11:10.980 true and it
01:11:11.440 wasn't a bunch of
01:11:12.040 doctored photoshopped
01:11:13.180 images on
01:11:14.580 Twitter so I went
01:11:15.660 to the Pony Canyon
01:11:16.460 website and yeah
01:11:17.400 he's real
01:11:19.020 here he is
01:11:19.720 he's real
01:11:20.320 his association
01:11:21.120 and promotion
01:11:21.720 by them
01:11:22.320 is real
01:11:23.220 so we can
01:11:23.780 pretty clearly
01:11:24.580 assume that his
01:11:25.560 agenda is going
01:11:26.480 to be one of
01:11:27.880 a new global
01:11:29.220 Japan which I'm
01:11:30.180 sure will be
01:11:31.100 just as stable
01:11:32.460 and wonderful
01:11:33.360 as global
01:11:34.080 Britain that we
01:11:34.840 live in right
01:11:35.380 now but the
01:11:37.020 big controversy
01:11:37.900 is surrounding a
01:11:38.680 man called
01:11:39.000 Thomas Lockley
01:11:39.860 who is
01:11:40.540 acknowledged to
01:11:41.100 be the first
01:11:41.920 man to conduct
01:11:42.580 any real
01:11:43.420 large-scale
01:11:45.000 archival research
01:11:47.760 into who
01:11:48.180 Yasuke was and
01:11:49.180 write books on
01:11:49.940 him he wrote a
01:11:50.940 book called
01:11:51.760 African Samurai
01:11:52.860 the true story
01:11:53.780 of Yasuke
01:11:54.760 which is again
01:11:56.480 the actual
01:11:57.860 archival evidence
01:11:58.700 we have for his
01:11:59.440 existence maybe
01:12:00.240 takes up four or
01:12:01.480 five paragraphs
01:12:02.140 on a single
01:12:02.740 page he wrote
01:12:04.580 a hundreds of
01:12:05.360 pages long book
01:12:06.380 about the guy
01:12:07.740 was it fan fiction
01:12:09.180 by any chance
01:12:09.840 might as well
01:12:10.720 have been how
01:12:11.260 did he manage
01:12:11.740 to do this
01:12:12.420 so it says in
01:12:14.500 this article for
01:12:15.220 bounding into
01:12:15.740 comics English
01:12:16.880 born scholar
01:12:17.540 currently employed
01:12:18.280 as an associate
01:12:18.940 law professor at
01:12:19.780 Japan's neon
01:12:20.520 university
01:12:21.340 Lockley is perhaps
01:12:22.400 best known as
01:12:22.980 the author of
01:12:23.780 the 29 book
01:12:24.640 African Samurai
01:12:25.560 the true story
01:12:26.520 of Yasuke
01:12:27.080 a legendary
01:12:28.180 black warrior
01:12:29.020 in feudal Japan
01:12:29.900 wherein he puts
01:12:30.460 forth the claim
01:12:31.160 based on his
01:12:31.760 own informed
01:12:33.420 research-based
01:12:34.700 assumptions
01:12:35.640 assumptions
01:12:37.600 that the
01:12:38.840 historical Yasuke
01:12:39.820 was not a mere
01:12:40.500 retainer to
01:12:41.520 Oda Nobunaga
01:12:42.760 but a full-blown
01:12:44.060 samurai in his
01:12:45.000 own right
01:12:45.480 so he made it
01:12:46.520 up
01:12:46.800 yes
01:12:48.280 he made it
01:12:49.180 up
01:12:49.400 on May 27th
01:12:51.180 he featured as
01:12:51.800 the subject matter
01:12:52.600 expert on the
01:12:53.780 Yasuke episode
01:12:55.180 first African
01:12:56.820 samurai episode
01:12:57.700 of Ubisoft's
01:12:58.640 Assassin's Creed
01:12:59.400 centric new
01:13:00.080 history podcast
01:13:01.080 echoes of history
01:13:02.120 so he is
01:13:02.780 associated directly
01:13:04.040 with Ubisoft
01:13:04.780 and has at the
01:13:05.640 very least
01:13:06.060 consulted with
01:13:07.000 them
01:13:07.200 despite having
01:13:09.140 been interviewed
01:13:09.940 by the dev team
01:13:10.760 regarding the
01:13:11.280 game's historical
01:13:11.940 context or at
01:13:12.700 least his
01:13:13.000 interpretation of it
01:13:13.920 he is now
01:13:15.020 he is now
01:13:16.340 attempting to
01:13:16.980 claim that he
01:13:17.380 had nothing to
01:13:18.140 do with the
01:13:18.880 game I had
01:13:19.460 nothing to do
01:13:20.160 with it in an
01:13:21.200 interview he was
01:13:21.840 pressed for his
01:13:22.380 thoughts on the
01:13:22.860 backlash and
01:13:23.960 he said that I
01:13:25.940 don't know whether
01:13:26.520 the game Assassin's
01:13:27.340 Creed should have
01:13:27.860 him as the main
01:13:28.380 character or if it
01:13:29.640 should have been
01:13:30.060 somebody else as
01:13:30.800 the main character
01:13:31.580 quite frankly I
01:13:32.620 don't care I have
01:13:33.660 nothing to do with
01:13:34.400 it don't attack
01:13:35.060 Yasuke asked by the
01:13:36.780 person who was
01:13:37.760 interviewing him
01:13:38.460 whether he got any
01:13:39.180 royalties he said
01:13:40.100 no no no but my
01:13:41.900 book starting to sell
01:13:42.900 well again which is
01:13:43.700 nice I mean come
01:13:47.440 on so he does have
01:13:48.800 an incentive to
01:13:50.160 make sure that
01:13:50.860 Yasuke gets out
01:13:51.760 there for his book
01:13:52.460 sales and there is
01:13:54.080 a big problem with
01:13:55.240 all of this again
01:13:55.960 because where did
01:13:57.680 he get this
01:13:58.120 information from
01:13:58.960 well as I've
01:14:00.520 already said he
01:14:01.760 made it up he
01:14:03.060 made it up so this
01:14:03.680 is a big article
01:14:04.520 here talking about
01:14:06.320 how Thomas Lockley
01:14:07.660 for a long time had
01:14:08.740 been editing the
01:14:10.360 Wikipedia page even
01:14:12.080 before his articles
01:14:13.860 and book had been
01:14:14.780 written on it using
01:14:16.200 his own unpublished
01:14:17.660 research as sources
01:14:19.480 for the claims that
01:14:20.400 he was making in the
01:14:21.260 Wikipedia page
01:14:22.220 source myself so they
01:14:25.060 say here so the he
01:14:26.300 was going under the
01:14:27.120 name Totorim who is
01:14:28.900 said to be Thomas
01:14:29.580 Lockley himself if you
01:14:30.880 go on the account name
01:14:32.240 Totorim he actually
01:14:33.160 says is Thomas Lockley
01:14:35.020 a faculty member at
01:14:37.400 Neon University College
01:14:38.620 of Law his interests
01:14:39.520 are primarily Japanese
01:14:41.060 history related he
01:14:43.060 also seems to have
01:14:43.960 named that Wikipedia
01:14:44.740 account after the fact
01:14:45.960 that he lived in
01:14:46.860 Totori for a while for
01:14:48.840 two years so that all
01:14:50.100 adds up there and he
01:14:52.240 says as well in 2015
01:14:54.920 he added the 2016
01:14:57.380 upcoming papers by
01:14:59.420 Lockley as a reference
01:15:00.620 on Wikipedia his other
01:15:02.300 Facebook account name
01:15:03.960 is Totor Tom
01:15:06.680 Totori Tom sorry
01:15:08.480 the Wayback Machine
01:15:10.200 records prove that he
01:15:11.720 used to use the
01:15:13.360 Facebook account under
01:15:14.460 that name most of the
01:15:15.820 cited references that
01:15:17.160 were on the Wikipedia
01:15:18.320 page of Yasuke which
01:15:19.500 was basically just like a
01:15:20.680 single paragraph before
01:15:21.960 he started doing it
01:15:23.200 were cited references as
01:15:25.980 as yet to be published
01:15:26.960 papers with a lot of
01:15:27.840 phrases like it's also
01:15:29.380 possible could
01:15:30.620 conceivably may which
01:15:33.320 might suggest all
01:15:35.560 conjecture all
01:15:36.840 assumptions while
01:15:39.080 suggesting possibilities
01:15:40.120 is acceptable the
01:15:41.140 following are clear
01:15:41.860 errors according to
01:15:42.840 other editors who
01:15:45.060 went through the page
01:15:45.760 and went this is all
01:15:46.420 bollocks you're lying
01:15:47.600 about this misinterpretation
01:15:49.880 of height as six
01:15:50.880 shaku to sun six foot
01:15:52.300 two inch fabrication of
01:15:54.400 the quote the name was
01:15:55.840 Yasuke was bestowed upon
01:15:57.340 him by Nobunaga himself
01:15:58.940 a deep honor in the
01:16:00.420 Japan of the day from
01:16:01.940 Lettera diary so it
01:16:03.900 seems that the idea
01:16:04.800 that Nobunaga himself
01:16:06.000 gave Yasuke his name
01:16:07.460 is bollocks it's a lie
01:16:10.080 nonsensical explanation
01:16:11.820 that it's unlikely that
01:16:12.800 Yasuke would have been
01:16:13.680 able to communicate in
01:16:14.720 classical Chinese the
01:16:16.180 oriental lingua franca of
01:16:17.720 the time so this idea
01:16:18.720 that he could speak
01:16:19.480 Chinese rubbish
01:16:20.820 stating Yasuke was
01:16:23.980 granted the samurai rank
01:16:25.280 which came with
01:16:25.820 considerable stipend
01:16:27.060 again rubbish
01:16:29.020 distortion of facts
01:16:30.320 claiming Yasuke fought
01:16:31.380 alongside the Nobutada
01:16:32.840 forces for a long time
01:16:34.120 but when all his
01:16:34.720 comrades had died he
01:16:35.540 surrendered his sword to
01:16:36.460 Akechi's men
01:16:37.240 Yasuke's page on
01:16:38.600 Britannica was also
01:16:40.240 recently I believe on the
01:16:41.600 24th of July
01:16:43.100 overwritten by somebody
01:16:45.520 claiming to be
01:16:47.400 Thomas Lockley
01:16:48.380 so he does seem to be
01:16:49.300 trying to control the
01:16:50.320 flow of information
01:16:51.420 regarding Yasuke to
01:16:53.340 all fit his
01:16:54.400 assumptions
01:16:54.940 this is quite the
01:16:55.840 grift that you just
01:16:56.760 invent a profile about
01:16:58.940 someone who was
01:16:59.920 nobody really and
01:17:01.440 write a book about
01:17:02.260 them and then change
01:17:03.340 history around it to
01:17:05.580 sell more books
01:17:06.280 it's quite impressive
01:17:07.500 but outside of that
01:17:09.120 why is it that he
01:17:10.840 would do this well
01:17:11.700 interestingly enough
01:17:12.680 he's conducted a
01:17:14.120 number of interviews
01:17:15.120 with the refugee
01:17:16.060 support association
01:17:17.520 here we go
01:17:18.520 now from the clips
01:17:20.280 that I've seen it
01:17:21.200 seems that his
01:17:21.740 interest in this is
01:17:22.660 because of the fact
01:17:23.300 that he had a pair
01:17:24.200 he had a set of
01:17:25.620 grandparents who were
01:17:27.000 refugees from Nazi
01:17:28.540 Germany in the 1930s
01:17:30.340 because they were
01:17:30.940 Jewish so that seems
01:17:32.100 to have spurred his
01:17:32.820 interest in speaking
01:17:34.380 about refugee support
01:17:35.720 and promoting refugee
01:17:37.240 support he said in an
01:17:39.180 interview when I first
01:17:41.260 published my research
01:17:42.380 on Yasuke online
01:17:43.400 there was a lot of
01:17:44.280 response from people
01:17:45.020 who were drawn to his
01:17:45.940 life although Yasuke was
01:17:47.500 not a free man but
01:17:48.420 servant to a missionary
01:17:49.400 his story is filled with
01:17:51.180 elements that remind us
01:17:52.320 that even forcibly
01:17:54.380 displaced people have
01:17:55.880 their own stories
01:17:56.780 so it's an attempt to
01:17:59.300 put homoglobo narratives
01:18:00.540 into Japanese history
01:18:01.780 don't worry you've
01:18:03.320 always been a nation
01:18:04.600 of immigrants you've
01:18:05.600 always been a nation
01:18:06.800 that's opened arms to
01:18:08.200 remarkable and
01:18:09.040 exceptional refugees
01:18:10.400 so it's another pro
01:18:12.400 refugee narrative
01:18:13.780 this time being put in a
01:18:16.300 Japanese context for
01:18:17.680 Japanese history
01:18:18.760 and we need to
01:18:20.400 absolutely say no to
01:18:23.140 these kinds of
01:18:23.740 narratives being placed
01:18:25.660 into your history
01:18:26.600 especially because
01:18:27.640 Japan it doesn't go
01:18:30.300 well it really does not
01:18:32.240 go well for you
01:18:33.200 speak speaking from
01:18:34.500 global Britain do not
01:18:35.820 become global Japan
01:18:37.060 and Thomas Lockley
01:18:38.200 screw you let's go on
01:18:41.220 to the rumble rants and
01:18:42.860 then the video comments
01:18:43.800 okay on the what you've
01:18:47.280 got the you've got the
01:18:48.020 screen in front of you
01:18:48.860 Fred Knott says
01:18:49.820 Assassin's Creed had a
01:18:50.940 trailer that showed
01:18:51.720 Altair Ibn Lahad with a
01:18:54.360 crossbow but after people
01:18:55.520 pointed out they hadn't
01:18:56.280 been invented yet
01:18:57.060 Ubisoft removed the
01:18:58.340 crossbows until
01:18:58.960 brotherhood they're lying
01:19:00.280 of course yes of course
01:19:01.520 they are yeah and
01:19:02.440 bald eagles I mean in
01:19:03.900 Odyssey the one in
01:19:04.960 ancient Greece you can be
01:19:06.280 a man or a woman
01:19:07.680 character and the
01:19:08.600 romance options stay the
01:19:09.880 same so everyone is
01:19:11.000 sort of Schrodinger's
01:19:12.020 straight or gay but
01:19:13.880 at least it's set in
01:19:15.100 Greece so that makes
01:19:16.220 sense don't let
01:19:17.460 Stelios hear that is
01:19:18.240 going to kick down the
01:19:18.900 door he's going to
01:19:19.680 accuse you of being a
01:19:20.840 Turk in a mask
01:19:21.620 bald eagle 1787 fun
01:19:24.160 fact Nobunaga won his
01:19:25.660 followers and allies
01:19:26.340 unified Japan and
01:19:27.240 became the first two
01:19:28.080 shoguns if you're going
01:19:29.200 to make a game about
01:19:29.860 Japan make it about
01:19:30.740 the man known as the
01:19:32.440 demon king binary
01:19:34.440 surfer says so this is
01:19:36.060 why Fav's day isn't a
01:19:37.120 Japanese thing
01:19:37.900 very clever
01:19:42.320 binary surfer this
01:19:44.740 explains all the
01:19:45.400 samurai on samurai
01:19:46.340 violence in Japanese
01:19:47.380 history and binary
01:19:49.000 surfer again maybe all
01:19:50.540 the black samurai were
01:19:51.780 there to study the
01:19:53.140 constant chirp of the
01:19:54.440 rare ceiling bird that
01:19:56.060 was true they did
01:19:57.040 migrate that is a fact
01:19:58.280 also I can't actually
01:19:59.820 read any more of them
01:20:00.760 because I can't scroll
01:20:01.520 down because you have
01:20:02.160 my mouse let's see I'll
01:20:04.420 scroll down here oh
01:20:06.360 god we've got quite a
01:20:07.080 few for these blimey
01:20:08.700 that's random name
01:20:09.920 says busy right now so
01:20:11.380 can't enjoy this stream
01:20:12.360 but I thought I'd drop
01:20:13.240 by and let you all know
01:20:14.320 keep up the great work
01:20:15.780 and stay awesome also
01:20:16.860 Yasuke poison darts are
01:20:19.020 laced with Ebola
01:20:19.780 and bald eagle 1787 says
01:20:24.380 the only fan tick
01:20:25.280 Assassin's Creed to
01:20:26.660 know that's I misread
01:20:28.880 that Assassin's Creed
01:20:30.600 I'll acknowledge is the
01:20:32.540 tyranny of King
01:20:33.380 Washington they tried to
01:20:34.500 smear the man that made
01:20:35.580 him uber based and
01:20:36.900 made him even more of a
01:20:37.840 badass than I thought
01:20:38.520 possible binary surfaces
01:20:40.060 again so what you're
01:20:41.360 saying is the Japs have
01:20:43.080 the original n-word pass
01:20:44.480 I mean they was samurai
01:20:46.540 they was samurai yes
01:20:48.120 Fred Nought says they
01:20:49.260 represent the replacement
01:20:50.420 of the Japanese people
01:20:51.280 my favorite superhero
01:20:52.320 respectively F Yasuke
01:20:54.600 F Miles Morales also F
01:20:58.240 Tom Holland and Iron
01:20:59.320 Boy Jr I don't understand
01:21:01.980 that but sure it's a lot
01:21:03.140 of Marvel stuff Fred
01:21:04.580 Nought says I'm
01:21:05.240 aggressively getting
01:21:06.120 Yasuke's name wrong
01:21:07.040 just like Miles Morales
01:21:08.360 because F them yes
01:21:11.340 aggressively as in you're
01:21:12.740 pronouncing or spell them
01:21:13.840 correctly I am likely to
01:21:15.760 correct you well I wasn't
01:21:19.060 able to say them correctly
01:21:19.860 anyway binary surfer
01:21:21.460 finally the final one do you
01:21:23.700 know that samurai in fact
01:21:25.740 translates as peaceful
01:21:27.000 nighttime jogger binary and
01:21:31.460 let's go to the video
01:21:32.720 comments
01:21:33.460 excuse me sorry
01:22:00.240 weird urge to play a
01:22:05.640 Nintendo game for some
01:22:06.740 reason that that was very
01:22:08.700 Mario party menu music
01:22:10.900 wasn't it I think because
01:22:12.440 the Japanese really took to
01:22:14.520 modal jazz you've got it's
01:22:16.680 got a very distinct sound
01:22:17.820 and because Nintendo games
01:22:19.260 quite often have modal jazz in
01:22:20.840 the background it's become an
01:22:23.000 association I do actually
01:22:24.780 really like Japanese jazz music
01:22:26.320 it's good stuff yeah all right
01:22:29.440 lads one time subscriber first
01:22:31.820 video comment the only scout
01:22:34.060 flow to see so probably and
01:22:36.780 that attack yesterday is
01:22:41.580 terrifying comparing and the
01:22:46.920 city's kind of split in two
01:22:49.040 groups at the minute half of them
01:22:51.480 you only care because he's brown
01:22:54.920 and the other half are normal so
01:23:00.060 I don't know this should change
01:23:05.700 things but it never does I bet it
01:23:10.000 really getting to you but I hope
01:23:12.640 you stay safe obviously yeah and
01:23:15.800 things in Liverpool can't be
01:23:17.180 particularly pleasant at the
01:23:19.540 minute no but thank you for
01:23:21.140 sending in your video comments we
01:23:23.040 like to hear people's concerns
01:23:24.860 my heart goes out guys it's really
01:23:31.560 rough when you try to do this
01:23:34.180 diversity crap and find out that it
01:23:38.000 really doesn't work New York City is
01:23:39.660 finding that out the hard way which
01:23:41.440 I'd hate to say it is good for New
01:23:43.240 York City but I remember for decades
01:23:45.500 how Europe would poke fun at the
01:23:47.360 United States because of our racial
01:23:50.200 inequality without pointing out the
01:23:52.420 fact the United States has actually
01:23:54.180 done a fairly good and decent job of
01:23:57.420 getting multiple cultures to come
01:23:59.160 together over the long term this was
01:24:02.000 not helped by the presidency of
01:24:03.440 Barack Obama who seemed to push the
01:24:05.820 idea that racial division and
01:24:07.480 separation was the way to go and that
01:24:10.800 is what he pushed his entire eight
01:24:12.740 years in office and then he
01:24:14.640 proceeded to fill the various
01:24:17.560 executive agencies with people that
01:24:19.320 thought like him this of course was a
01:24:21.780 problem and now for something
01:24:24.820 completely different and something
01:24:26.600 not so morose and sad at a time like
01:24:30.060 this that's rough but we must look at
01:24:32.820 the American political system and
01:24:34.460 remember again in the words of Willie
01:24:37.200 Brown he was always impressed by
01:24:39.500 Kamala Harris she practically blew him
01:24:42.680 away every time that was a lovely dog
01:24:47.660 but I agreed with everything you said
01:24:49.460 yeah hello ladies and gentlemen I'll
01:24:55.760 try to be quick because I do have a lot
01:24:57.560 of ground to cover first congratulations
01:24:59.920 to Stelios on his recent marriage I hope
01:25:02.240 it is a long and happy union second
01:25:04.720 father Calvin mentioned some time ago that a
01:25:07.680 common-sense crusade smoking pipe would be
01:25:10.500 added to the merchandise store was this
01:25:12.640 made in jest or will that appear at some
01:25:15.480 point third has load seaters considered
01:25:18.960 publishing articles or monographs written
01:25:21.120 by the general public such as myself on
01:25:23.520 various cultural and political issues
01:25:25.960 finally I would like to round off by
01:25:28.760 hoping that you and everybody watching
01:25:31.200 have a lovely day despite the truly
01:25:33.960 tragic circumstances that transpired
01:25:36.000 yesterday in Southport well that's very
01:25:39.680 nice of you I hope you had a nice day as
01:25:41.140 well but um to answer some of your
01:25:42.780 questions I think the pipe thing is a
01:25:44.880 serious thing but because it's a it's
01:25:47.540 classified in law as a smoking thing I
01:25:50.680 think we've got to get a license to sell a
01:25:52.580 pipe
01:25:52.800 it's ridiculous isn't it so we've got to
01:25:57.560 jump through some hoops to get it going
01:25:59.440 as far as I'm aware and I don't think we
01:26:02.840 take submissions from the general public
01:26:05.740 because you know Rory's are sort of written
01:26:08.840 editor and he's mainly focusing on the
01:26:11.460 magazine now and so that's largely what
01:26:14.620 we're doing with the written articles at
01:26:16.180 the minute although we'll sometimes have
01:26:18.480 the odd one from internals we actually
01:26:21.300 kind of don't really write that much
01:26:23.380 anymore because people didn't read them
01:26:24.860 so it was a lot of time for very little in
01:26:27.320 return because people weren't interested in
01:26:29.020 them
01:26:29.200 I'm still trying to write stuff here and
01:26:31.260 there but Rory has been so busy with the
01:26:33.380 magazine that's uh I don't want to disturb
01:26:35.380 him yeah he's not been able to get
01:26:36.520 around to reading them
01:26:37.300 although looking very good though the
01:26:38.800 next question by the way although one
01:26:40.560 of the things I have read should actually
01:26:42.320 be in the second issue of the magazine
01:26:44.040 which should be really good you've read
01:26:45.580 it or you've written it I've written it
01:26:47.760 it was read from your mind to the pen
01:26:50.460 there you go I'm helping you out yeah
01:26:52.540 yeah cheers I've already written it so
01:26:54.460 if I write another one you know I'll come
01:26:57.940 to you for help don't worry right
01:27:01.980 lads time to temper the news with some
01:27:04.260 breathing exercise for anxiety relief
01:27:08.120 inhale deep into your belly for four
01:27:11.220 seconds hold four seconds exhale four
01:27:15.040 hold four repeat as necessary before bed
01:27:19.560 before the news or whatever you feel
01:27:21.720 life is getting too overwhelming I did
01:27:25.560 actually think his name was pronounced
01:27:27.180 epic titties before I realized it was a
01:27:29.440 epic titties I like epic titties so do I
01:27:34.300 but not the philosopher but no that was
01:27:37.760 very helpful breathing exercise I actually
01:27:40.180 do this one already because um your
01:27:43.300 psychological state is sort of downstream
01:27:44.900 from your physiological one so if you
01:27:47.360 calm your breathing your psychology also
01:27:49.880 calms as well sort of a bit of a psychology
01:27:53.400 hack for you ID cards loaded with personal
01:27:58.920 details are used to track people's
01:28:00.600 movements goods that are deemed dangerous
01:28:02.160 are tightly controlled if you want to
01:28:04.920 buy a knife in this cutlery shop for
01:28:06.720 example the purchase is tied to your ID as
01:28:09.360 as the salesman demonstrates
01:28:11.340 oh they wouldn't collect ethnicity
01:28:22.120 yeah that's what's in store and I showed that
01:28:32.560 meme didn't I so yeah I like the one on the
01:28:34.580 right though at least that wasn't called a
01:28:36.720 racist
01:28:37.180 no the problem is they're going to call
01:28:40.820 you racist either way that's true yeah
01:28:42.620 josh don't be ridiculous okay I'm not
01:28:47.220 going to kidnap you okay I'm not going to
01:28:49.320 kidnap you josh great start I'm going to
01:28:51.160 kidnap Stelios because he can make
01:28:53.460 some vlarkin and you cannot
01:28:55.020 I fully support you Cooper well I guess
01:29:00.400 you've been showing up if you don't like
01:29:02.400 Windows updating all the time just switch
01:29:04.840 to Linux I use an operating system called
01:29:07.800 Kubuntu and it's freaking awesome
01:29:10.240 all good advice particularly kidnapping
01:29:16.960 Kubuntu does sound like an aboriginal
01:29:18.860 tribe it does so it's appropriate for
01:29:21.060 the Aussies
01:29:21.560 I think it's high time we brought back
01:29:26.540 the death penalty for these kinds of
01:29:29.300 crimes there's no excuse mental illness
01:29:34.840 no mental illness doesn't matter they
01:29:38.180 need to be out of society entirely they
01:29:41.680 have to be put to death by the state
01:29:44.840 that's the only way we're going to have
01:29:47.600 a high trust society again
01:29:49.120 I can't disagree with that yeah no
01:29:53.420 here here
01:29:54.340 well that's all the that's all the
01:29:58.260 video comments I think we've got two
01:30:00.500 like one more rumble rant that's come
01:30:03.280 through from not just a string extra time
01:30:05.280 for some written comments I know we've
01:30:06.720 got the common sense crusade but like
01:30:08.440 five minutes
01:30:09.100 four or five Samson has
01:30:12.340 he's got us on he's got a timer and if
01:30:14.920 we don't go through it properly it's
01:30:16.340 going to be electric shocks for us my
01:30:18.720 week a white pill is that there is a
01:30:20.360 political progress on another front
01:30:22.220 Bitcoin is making political progress in
01:30:23.740 the US with Trump's announced bit
01:30:25.180 Bitcoin stockpile we can wreck the
01:30:28.320 money printers and defund government
01:30:30.340 here here yes I support that so Lance
01:30:34.200 Llewellyn says Harry be certain to keep
01:30:35.920 the new mug clean lest your bacteria
01:30:37.760 summon an eldritch horror yeah yeah
01:30:40.740 there we go it's impossible for Harry
01:30:42.300 to be clean um I'm northern after all
01:30:44.600 you should see him when he turns up to
01:30:47.540 work it's like he's come out of a coal
01:30:48.760 mine
01:30:49.060 he's got a blackface
01:30:51.660 unnecessarily free under the bus
01:30:54.940 just accusing me of walking into the
01:30:58.340 office in blackface yeah I wash it off
01:31:00.520 before I come on the podcast yeah um
01:31:02.560 Finn says nothing to do with today's
01:31:03.880 podcast but please pray for all the
01:31:05.240 female boxes in the Olympics right now
01:31:07.100 uh they allowed two males to compete
01:31:09.000 against them and those two uh were not
01:31:11.540 allowed to compete in last year's
01:31:12.780 world championship surprisingly because
01:31:14.300 they are males but Olympics let them
01:31:15.860 flipping French in their Olympics also
01:31:17.960 there was a woman after 46 seconds she
01:31:19.960 had her nose broken and chose not to
01:31:21.780 continue after yeah punched by bloke so
01:31:24.040 yes because she could tell oh this
01:31:25.780 isn't going to end well for me imagine
01:31:27.840 having your dreams broken because some
01:31:29.640 pervert who likes wearing dresses on the
01:31:31.380 weekend decided that he was a woman
01:31:32.820 misogyny the only trick is you just
01:31:36.300 got to stick on a dress and then you
01:31:37.600 can punch women anyway jghw that's how
01:31:40.000 josh has always got away with it they
01:31:41.720 haven't caught me yet um there is no
01:31:43.260 such thing as two-tier policing either
01:31:44.980 we have policing or we have tyranny and
01:31:47.580 we certainly don't have policing well of
01:31:49.600 course we have tyranny I mean that's
01:31:51.220 that's a given but I agree with the
01:31:52.620 sentiment saxon spirit says I enjoyed
01:31:54.500 your take josh based in clear
01:31:56.040 pilled well thank you very much
01:31:57.460 Dominic Brady says honestly the genie is
01:31:59.900 out of the bottle now I think the
01:32:01.300 rioting is just going to escalate
01:32:03.100 further and further the harder the
01:32:04.620 police crack down the more response
01:32:05.940 back will be we shall have to see I'll
01:32:09.940 read one more and then we can go to
01:32:11.880 the second segment Chris Ward says just
01:32:14.500 for context the man who was arrested
01:32:16.020 while stood on the pavement was DJ
01:32:17.780 media and auditor so most likely known to
01:32:20.360 the police and probably despised by them
01:32:22.180 just abusing power as usual that is
01:32:24.540 interesting thank you for that context
01:32:26.000 actually that does help me
01:32:27.560 contextualize it yes thank you for that
01:32:29.400 information so on the mr beast subject
01:32:31.260 lord nerovair it's difficult to see how
01:32:32.700 mr beast brand recovers from all of
01:32:34.380 this is obviously a large enterprise but
01:32:36.040 because it rests on the personalities of
01:32:37.500 the cast and because Chris Tyson was so
01:32:39.120 embedded in it there's basically no way
01:32:40.980 that the taint from all this goes away
01:32:42.260 from now maybe I'm wrong maybe you are
01:32:44.780 wrong but also it was entirely dependent
01:32:46.700 on a very young audience so knowing that
01:32:49.380 the people who are behind this are
01:32:52.320 rather unsavory around young people
01:32:54.880 children and teenagers and that one of
01:32:57.540 the main invite people involved in it has
01:32:59.220 had a shad man print on his wall and the
01:33:02.040 rest of the guys including mr beast
01:33:03.580 himself was okay with this yeah I wouldn't
01:33:06.740 trust my kids to watch it I would not at
01:33:08.760 all and you shouldn't either these next
01:33:10.320 two comments are great by the way I read
01:33:12.900 ahead Charles Ellington's one about mr
01:33:15.160 beast being the antichrist the antichrist is
01:33:17.480 supposed to be universally loved mr beast
01:33:20.220 was a good candidate he he was I did see
01:33:23.940 a lot of people saying he literally
01:33:25.480 called himself mr beast what did you
01:33:27.300 expect and that's a good point
01:33:28.740 oh no the name of this next commenter
01:33:34.060 that's why I locked 100 kids in a room
01:33:36.840 with my nonce friend gone wrong that's
01:33:39.540 on the internet forever yep easy access
01:33:42.160 to children always attracts those who
01:33:43.500 want to exploit them it is always best to
01:33:45.540 be extra suspicious of those who seek it
01:33:47.620 that's a fair point I was actually
01:33:49.440 thinking that while the segment was
01:33:50.800 going on thinking any men that
01:33:53.320 willingly you know become children's
01:33:55.420 entertainers there are questions not
01:33:58.740 all of them about what you're on about
01:33:59.860 jimmy savile was an honorable man
01:34:01.700 I didn't realize you worked for the
01:34:04.620 BBC Harry Theodore Pinnock well I mean
01:34:06.700 you know good friends with Hugh
01:34:08.300 Edwards I've got to stick up for my
01:34:09.860 friends Theodore Pinnock a lot of people
01:34:12.880 pointed out that a groomed person by the
01:34:14.780 fact they were manipulated and groomed
01:34:16.160 might not realize that they were
01:34:17.480 groomed yes this is an excellent point
01:34:19.480 rue the day there is one thing and one
01:34:22.000 thing that I only only that I completely
01:34:24.660 agree with Connor about at least there's
01:34:26.400 one point of commonality ban all porn
01:34:29.280 lolly also banned hentai banned just read
01:34:32.280 books and use your imagination that's a
01:34:34.900 very feminine approach to it really just
01:34:37.020 have sex with your wife yeah or you could
01:34:38.880 just actually have sex don't do that it's
01:34:42.640 terrible all sex is bad even even to
01:34:45.600 conceive of children George Hatt Mr. Beast's
01:34:47.920 rise to the top felt artificial to me
01:34:49.460 with all of the charity porn he'd been
01:34:50.780 engaging in PewDiePie is a wholesome
01:34:52.320 family man while Jimbo is a pedo troon
01:34:54.240 defender the real king of YouTube is
01:34:56.080 clear PewDiePie can't stop winning the
01:34:58.460 man is honestly wholesome and all of his
01:35:01.060 controversies have been based kind of
01:35:04.440 based whereas all of the other
01:35:06.900 controversies are YouTubers turning out
01:35:09.120 to be pedos so you know California
01:35:11.980 refugee on Assassin's Creed I went to
01:35:14.120 Japan once in school we had a black
01:35:16.000 student on the train a little Japanese
01:35:17.640 grandma literally ran away from him I
01:35:20.160 don't think calling Japan racist works
01:35:21.940 like it does on cooked white Westerners
01:35:23.700 good point Dankula's leaky tap worth
01:35:27.060 noting that the primary antagonist of
01:35:28.700 Assassin's Creed Valhalla was Alfred the
01:35:30.860 Great yeah that's funny isn't it yeah
01:35:33.460 well I mean it makes sense if you're
01:35:35.100 playing a Viking that the great man of
01:35:37.400 the Saxons yeah but the the black
01:35:39.460 Vikings against Alfred the Great you
01:35:41.420 know I'm rooting for the antagonist
01:35:43.780 here yeah well then Scotty of Swindon I
01:35:46.480 envisioned the mod saying he was
01:35:48.340 samurai as Wendy from Peter Pan
01:35:50.420 sobbing I do believe in fairies I do I
01:35:52.860 do after she accidentally killed
01:35:54.420 Tinkerbell by not believing in fairies
01:35:56.400 do you mean the mod from Reddit I'm
01:35:59.900 confused he's on about Peter Pan where
01:36:02.780 he's on about that person saying
01:36:05.580 insisting he was a samurai despite the
01:36:08.760 evidence oh yeah wanting to believe to
01:36:11.440 make it yeah yeah true Geordie
01:36:14.560 swordsman are we sure Yasuke is even
01:36:16.240 black as I recall the only reference to
01:36:17.820 his ethnicity is Nobunaga thinking his
01:36:19.820 skin was dyed and ordering him to be
01:36:21.660 washed it's entirely plausible he was a
01:36:25.900 dark-skinned Indian yeah this is a good
01:36:27.580 point actually there's a lot of
01:36:28.780 ambiguity regarding everything we know
01:36:31.580 about Yasuke and finally I'll read one
01:36:33.500 more from Geordie George Happ Japan is
01:36:35.880 about five years behind the West in
01:36:37.480 terms of subversion I do hope
01:36:38.740 incidents like the Assassin's Creed
01:36:40.020 shadows debacle help them defend their
01:36:42.200 national identity for starters
01:36:43.820 historical vandals like Thomas Lockley
01:36:45.740 should be deported absolutely and on
01:36:48.160 that note thank you very much for
01:36:49.760 watching make sure to tune into
01:36:51.700 Common Sense Crusade in 25 minutes and
01:36:55.020 make sure to tune in tomorrow as well
01:36:56.880 same time goodbye
01:36:58.220 um
