The Saad Truth with Dr. Saad - Child Brides in Islamic Societies Are Due to Climate Change？ (The Saad Truth with Dr. Saad_1022)

In 1995, Bill Nye found a way to connect an Islamist terror attack in Paris to climate change, saying, "You ready? It's very reasonable to conclude that the recent trouble in Paris is a result of climate change."

00:00:00.160 Hi everybody, this is Gadsad. In chapter 6 of my 2020 book, The Parasitic Mind, I explain the collective mind malady known as Ostrich Parasitic Syndrome, whereby you come up with all sorts of ways to deny a blatantly obvious reality.

00:00:20.220 One of the instantiations of Ostrich Parasitic Syndrome is to not blame certain geopolitical realities or terrorism on the obvious culprit, but to blame it on all sorts of other reasons.

00:00:32.520 So, for example, Bill Nye, so I'm going to read you here from page 124 and 125.

00:00:37.100 For example, in 1995, Bill Nye, a self-described science guy, found a way to connect an Islamist terror attack in Paris to climate change, saying, quote, you ready?

00:00:49.360 it's very reasonable to conclude that the recent trouble in Paris is a result of climate change

00:00:55.920 there is a water shortage in Syria this is fact-based small and medium farmers have

00:01:01.320 abandoned their farms because there's not enough water not enough rainfall and especially the young

00:01:06.520 people who have not grown up there have not had their whole lives invested in living off the land

00:01:11.600 the young people have gone to the big cities looking for work there's not enough work for

00:01:15.940 everybody so that this is this affected youths as we say the young people who don't believe in the

00:01:21.380 system believe the system has failed don't believe in the economy are more easily engaged and more

00:01:27.120 easily recruited by terrorist organizations and then they end up part way around the world in

00:01:33.540 paris shooting people you can make a very reasonable argument that climate change is not

00:01:38.840 indirectly related to terrorism it's related to terrorism so this is just the start of things the

00:01:44.620 more we let this go on the more trouble there's going to be you can say quote we'll stamp out the

00:01:50.080 terrorists close quote but everybody's leaving their farms because of water shortages that's a

00:01:55.880 little bigger problem close quote so Bill Nye argued that the Bataclan terror attack in Paris

00:02:03.800 where a bunch of terrorists walked into a place killed nearly 200 people screaming Allahu Akbar

00:02:10.160 and all sorts of Islamic, you know, war cries is not really due to that. It's due to the climate

00:02:18.180 change that happened in Syria. That's what led to the attack on the innocent people in Bataclan 1.00

00:02:26.880 in Paris. Well, I just found out a few days ago that we could add something to the list.

00:02:31.540 child brides in Islamic societies, turns out it's also due to climate change. So the fact that it 0.97

00:02:42.100 is a canonical tenant within Islam, because Muhammad had married Aisha when she's six and

00:02:49.640 consummated the marriage when she's nine, according to all authenticated Islamic sources, and the fact

00:02:55.820 that many Islamic countries have it codified that you could marry child brides and that that

00:03:01.660 practice has been going on for 1400 years is actually not due to Islam. It's due to climate

00:03:08.720 change. Good luck, everybody.
