The Saad Truth with Dr. Saad - The Homeostasis of Trump Derangement Syndrome and the Dangers of Kamala Harris (The Saad Truth with Dr. Saad_739)

00:00:00.000 So, today what I wanted to talk about is, well, several things related to the upcoming election in a few days.

00:00:08.760 But specifically, I wanted to talk about a concept that I originally introduced in The Parasitic Mind,

00:00:17.580 my 2020 book, where I talked about the homeostasis of victimology.

00:00:23.400 And so, what I want to do first is read you a small, so this is on page 101 of The Parasitic Mind,

00:00:35.160 because I'm going to set up the framework for explaining some of the unbelievably dishonest reactions that people are having to Donald Trump.

00:00:49.360 And I'm going to use, as I said, the homeostatic model to explain it.

00:00:56.560 So, this is from page 101, as I said, in The Parasitic Mind.

00:00:59.960 The section is titled, The Homeostasis of Victimology.

00:01:05.480 Bear with me as I provide a little background on the ubiquity of homeostasis, how we study it and its implications,

00:01:12.680 because it will help illustrate an important point about victimology.

00:01:16.520 Many biological and man-made systems are governed by processes that seek to maintain a set or optimal equilibrium level.

00:01:26.560 For example, a room thermostat regulates the flow of cold or hot air such that a set temperature is maintained.

00:01:35.060 The human body contains several such homeostatic systems,

00:01:38.920 including processes that control one body temperature, glucose levels, and arterial pressure.

00:01:44.660 Homeostatic systems are not restricted to physiological processes.

00:01:49.720 Several influential psychological theories are based on the idea of homeostasis.

00:01:55.740 The psychologist John Fletcher drew a parallel between physiological and psychological homeostasis.

00:02:02.120 The rise of temper against an insult is not essentially different from the rise of temperature against infection.

00:02:11.500 Both represent the attempts of an organism to maintain status.

00:02:16.120 In the one case, it is a body status.

00:02:19.000 In the other, it is a social status that is to be maintained.

00:02:21.980 Drive reduction theory posits that humans are compelled to reduce the discrepancy between a current state and a desired state in order to meet a physiological or psychological need.

00:02:36.040 For example, when hungry or thirsty, an individual will to act to slake their hunger or thirst.

00:02:46.440 Drive reduction theory can explain a very broad range of human phenomena.

00:02:51.820 Homeostatic comparisons are also the key element in what is known as multiple discrepancies theory,

00:02:57.880 which focuses on how people measure satisfaction with elements of their lives.

00:03:02.800 For example, I might gauge the discrepancy, if any, between my current income and what I expect to have at this stage in my career.

00:03:11.160 Or I could contrast my current income to that of my relevant peers.

00:03:16.100 The bottom line is that there are multiple ways by which one might establish a discrepancy between a current and desired state

00:03:22.920 and accordingly be motivated to close that gap.

00:03:27.280 And then I go on explaining much more about what homeostasis is.

00:03:32.180 And then I argue that the manner by which people increasingly define, you know, an aggression or a victimhood

00:03:44.640 is precisely because they need to achieve a homeostatic level of victimology.

00:03:50.760 You know, our society is hateful, it's misogynistic, it's evil, it's, it's, we're sitting on stolen land.

00:03:59.280 And if you don't find that there are enough victimology stories,

00:04:03.460 then you need to redefine what constitutes victimhood in order to maintain that homeostatic level of victimology.

00:04:12.480 So here let me read one other quick thing.

00:04:15.760 This is from page 103.

00:04:18.740 Psychologist Nick Haslam's idea of concept creep is very relevant to my homeostatic argument.

00:04:25.220 He argues that what constitutes harm and pathology has been massively expanded,

00:04:30.720 and he uses six examples to demonstrate this.

00:04:33.300 Abuse, bullying, trauma, mental disorder, addiction, and prejudice.

00:04:37.740 In the abstract of his excellent article, Haslam warns,

00:04:41.500 Although conceptual change is inevitable and often well-motivated,

00:04:47.160 concept creep runs the risk of pathologizing everyday experience

00:04:52.320 and encouraging a sense of virtuous but impotent victimhood.

00:04:56.220 Close quote.

00:04:57.980 So I hope you're understanding what I mean here,

00:05:00.940 that you basically, in my homeostatic argument for victimology,

00:05:05.680 there is a set thermostat level of what I expect my evil society to have

00:05:13.480 in terms of generating appropriate victims.

00:05:16.600 If I can't find them, I will completely alter the definition of what constitutes victimhood

00:05:23.300 so that I can always achieve that homeostatic level.

00:05:27.480 Now, why am I talking about this in the context of what's about to happen in the United States?

00:05:33.200 Well, there are several things that I want to talk about, 0.99

00:05:37.020 but let me begin with, and again, people, you know, imbeciles like children will write to me, 0.99

00:05:42.920 oh, you know, Sam Harris lives in your head. 1.00

00:05:45.460 No, he doesn't.

00:05:46.800 Sam Harris ranks number 83,000 on my list of important issues in my personal life.

00:05:53.540 But Sam Harris is a person who has a large platform,

00:05:57.740 is a person who purports that he's a philosopher and he's a thinker.

00:06:02.040 So I use him as an exemplar of some of these manifestations.

00:06:07.420 So it's not a specific concern with Sam Harris,

00:06:11.580 but rather with some of the cognitive and emotional distortions that he's exhibiting.

00:06:17.600 Bill Maher is another such gentleman.

00:06:19.360 So what am I talking about here?

00:06:21.780 Sam Harris, from the time that I went on his show in 2016,

00:06:25.960 till right now, probably this minute, he's been saying he's arguably been the most unhinged when it comes to Trump.

00:06:34.660 Trump is going to end democracy.

00:06:36.540 Trump is going to institute martial law.

00:06:39.160 He did say that, you know, at least he, you know, Osama bin Laden, you know, was, you know,

00:06:44.120 somehow a better guy.

00:06:45.540 He offered some philosophical reason why Trump is even more dangerous than Osama bin Laden. 0.79

00:06:50.700 Donald Trump is literally an existential threat. 0.93

00:06:55.160 He is an asteroid that's hurling to Earth. 0.96

00:06:58.340 Now, he's completely wedded to that position.

00:07:01.960 Yes?

00:07:02.700 As is Bill Maher.

00:07:04.320 Absolutely wedded to that position.

00:07:06.320 Now, let's suppose that incoming evidence comes in that suggests that he's not,

00:07:10.940 that Donald Trump is not going to end democracy.

00:07:14.680 He's not going to be an existential threat.

00:07:17.620 He's not going to end the economy.

00:07:19.740 He's not going to institute martial law.

00:07:22.440 Your children will not be placed in internment camps because your grandmother was black.

00:07:30.200 Right?

00:07:31.220 Well, there are two things that you could do at that point.

00:07:33.600 You could say, well, let me rearrange my belief system or let me double down.

00:07:38.540 And before I get to what is the homeostatic mechanism that people who suffer from Trump 0.84

00:07:46.000 derangement syndrome exhibit, I want to go back again to the parasitic mind and quote, 0.96

00:07:52.540 some of you may have, this is a quote from page 142 of the parasitic mind, the second page

00:07:58.380 of chapter seven, where I quote from Leon Festinger.

00:08:03.520 Now, Leon Festinger is the pioneer of cognitive dissonance theory, right?

00:08:08.720 Cognitive dissonance theory basically says that people don't like to have this accord in their minds.

00:08:15.680 And so they want to find ways to assuage cognitive dissonance.

00:08:19.420 And so there is an endless number of cognitive strategies that people can engage in, distortions,

00:08:26.460 in order to be able to have congruency within their inner beliefs.

00:08:34.560 So let me read what Leon Festinger said.

00:08:38.020 This is from page 142 in the parasitic mind.

00:08:41.360 Please listen to every word because it is an extraordinarily powerful explanation of where

00:08:47.840 we are today with the Trump and Kamala Harris situation.

00:08:51.340 Okay, so this, so everything I'm going to read you now is a quote from Leon Festinger.

00:08:57.280 A man with a conviction is a hard man to change.

00:09:00.500 Tell him you disagree and he turns away.

00:09:03.120 Show him facts or figures and he questions your sources.

00:09:06.640 Appeal to logic and he fails to see your point.

00:09:10.180 We have all experienced the futility of trying to change a strong conviction,

00:09:14.320 especially if the convinced person has some investment in his belief.

00:09:18.500 We are familiar with the variety of ingenious defenses with which people protect their convictions,

00:09:24.340 managing to keep them unscathed through the most devastating attacks.

00:09:30.140 But man's resourcefulness goes beyond simply protecting a belief.

00:09:35.140 Suppose an individual believes something with his whole heart.

00:09:38.660 Suppose further that he has a commitment to this belief,

00:09:41.540 that he has taken irrevocable actions because of it.

00:09:44.540 Finally, suppose that he is presented with evidence, unequivocal and undeniable evidence,

00:09:50.720 that his belief is wrong.

00:09:52.440 What will happen?

00:09:53.920 The individual will frequently emerge not only unshaken,

00:09:58.900 but even more convinced of the truth of his beliefs than ever before.

00:10:04.300 Indeed, he may even show a new fervor about convincing and converting other people to his view.

00:10:10.880 Close quote.

00:10:12.240 This is one of the most astounding quotes that perfectly explains something that I answered last year

00:10:22.820 when I was asked on a British show hosted by a British psychiatrist.

00:10:27.000 What is the singular phenomenon, Professor Saad,

00:10:29.980 in your 30 plus years as a professor of behavioral sciences and as an evolutionary psychologist?

00:10:35.320 What is the singular phenomenon that has most surprised you?

00:10:39.400 And boy, there's a big list.

00:10:41.640 I paused for a minute and I said the inability of most people to change their minds.

00:10:46.500 So now let's come back to Trump and I'm going to link it back to homeostasis for a second.

00:10:51.360 Trump did have a first mandate, right?

00:10:57.100 He did serve one term.

00:10:58.200 So we have the perfect test to see whether during the time that he served in that mandate,

00:11:06.880 whether any of the things that Sam Harris and Bill Maher and the rest of the anti-Trump folks said,

00:11:14.980 whether those things bore out or not.

00:11:20.360 Did he institute martial law?

00:11:22.680 Did democracy end?

00:11:24.920 Did he tank the economy?

00:11:27.480 Did he put people of color in internment?

00:11:31.200 Did it become astoundingly impossible to be trans in the United States?

00:11:36.280 And, you know, the hysteria, you know, I could list 10 hours of stuff.

00:11:42.380 Just on my Facebook page, people would write,

00:11:45.520 I'm a person of color.

00:11:47.140 I teach at a small college in Maine.

00:11:49.260 I'm afraid to drive down because Trump's gangs are going to round us up.

00:11:54.980 This is a professor.

00:11:55.980 This is someone that has doctor before their name.

00:11:59.280 Did any of those things happen?

00:12:00.680 No.

00:12:01.560 Did that cause you to exhibit some sort of intellectual humility,

00:12:05.820 some sort of epistemological humility,

00:12:08.680 some sort of honesty to revise your opinion?

00:12:14.680 No.

00:12:15.460 They doubled down.

00:12:16.500 How do you double down?

00:12:17.600 That's where I'm going to come to homeostasis of Trump derangement syndrome.

00:12:21.460 First, you say, well, I didn't say when he would become the dictator.

00:12:29.960 In the first term, he was testing the systems.

00:12:34.300 It's really if you give him a second term that his Hitler qualities will come to play. 0.90

00:12:40.320 Just imagine the level of depraved dishonesty for a person who should have the responsibility

00:12:50.500 of at least navigating through the world with honesty.

00:12:56.060 Again, I hate to keep repeating this.

00:12:59.660 I am Canadian.

00:13:01.660 Right now, even though I have a visiting professorship and global ambassadorship at Northwood University.

00:13:07.640 Thank God for that.

00:13:08.820 Thank God that Northwood came and freed me from my home university

00:13:13.740 because you should see what is going on at my home university.

00:13:17.180 But in any case, I am right now physically in Montreal, Canada.

00:13:21.420 I am Canadian.

00:13:22.360 I'm a Canadian resident and a Canadian citizen.

00:13:25.080 I'm not going to get to vote in the election,

00:13:27.940 despite the fact that I'm sure many people will vote illegally on Tuesday.

00:13:33.640 So if I care about this issue, it's because I am a public commentator, right?

00:13:39.520 I am someone who cares about truth, who cares about decency.

00:13:44.460 And so therefore, I comment about things, not because I am hoping to get a cabinet position

00:13:51.860 in Trump's cabinet, not because I stand to benefit in any careerist way.

00:13:58.380 God only knows how much, how many costs I have had to bear because of the positions that I've taken.

00:14:05.940 I've lost professorships.

00:14:07.400 I've lost chair professorships.

00:14:09.680 I've lost grants because of the positions I take.

00:14:12.360 There's only downside.

00:14:13.580 But you know what the upside is, is that I can sleep well at night

00:14:17.240 because I know that I always follow my guiding ideals of truth and freedom, okay?

00:14:25.880 So now, if you had Trump be for president for four years, you may have disagreed.

00:14:31.280 You know, I didn't like his fiscal policy.

00:14:33.400 You know, I didn't like the fact that he was a non-interventionist when it came to foreign policy.

00:14:38.440 That would be perfectly reasonable.

00:14:39.980 And let's sit down and talk about it.

00:14:41.500 But remember the quote I just gave you by Professor Festinger, the pioneer of cognitive dissonance.

00:14:48.920 When faced with information that is unequivocal and unassailable to your beliefs, you double down.

00:14:55.420 So Sam didn't have the most basic decency as a, quote, intellectual to say, you know what?

00:15:06.720 In retrospect, boy, did I seem bombastic and unhinged when I said all these astounding things about Trump.

00:15:16.300 There are many reasons why you don't, people cannot like Trump.

00:15:19.380 And I might agree with some of those.

00:15:22.180 But the ones that all of the Democrats and their followers and all of my professor colleagues are saying,

00:15:28.840 not one of them turned out to be true.

00:15:32.080 And yet, the response is, well, yeah, no kidding.

00:15:35.660 He wasn't going to become Hitler in mandate one. 0.99

00:15:38.760 It's if you're stupid enough to give him mandate two that he will show you he's Hitler. 0.98

00:15:44.140 Now, what is the psychological mechanisms by which they can seek to achieve that, right? 1.00

00:15:50.960 Because obviously, they sound like complete dishonest assholes. 0.99

00:15:55.700 But they have to find a way to create, quote, cognitive consistency within the pure shite that they are peddling. 1.00

00:16:02.880 So the way that they do that, one of the ways is now I'm going to come to the homeostasis of Trump derangement syndrome. 0.99

00:16:10.140 Remember, they set the thermostat at Trump is Hitler. 0.59

00:16:15.800 But now it turns out that he's really not Hitler.

00:16:19.120 So how can I find ways to cook reality so that I can still demonstrate that he is Hitler? 0.87

00:16:27.060 Well, both Sam Harris and Bill Maher and many others have said, well, he did attack democracy.

00:16:35.860 He did act like a dictator.

00:16:38.400 How?

00:16:40.300 Because he never conceded in a peaceful way transfer of power.

00:16:46.440 Really?

00:16:47.020 He didn't leave office on January 20th, 2021?

00:16:50.800 Well, no, no, he did.

00:16:53.000 But he never used the words, I, Donald Trump, officially concede and admit that I have lost this election fairly and squarely.

00:17:06.220 And by me not stating exactly the words in the sequence that Sam Harris, the Malibu meditator, who, by the way, look, he speaks with a lisp.

00:17:17.720 You see that progressive lisp?

00:17:19.140 When I speak with a lisp, it shows that I'm smarter than you.

00:17:23.900 You see that?

00:17:24.620 Do you hear my lisp? 1.00

00:17:26.600 That demonstrates that in Malibu, I look down on all of you assholes, all of you garbage people. 1.00

00:17:34.440 So, therefore, he can walk around and say, but I was right. 1.00

00:17:42.420 He still hasn't conceded.

00:17:44.420 He still thinks that he's holding power, even though it might seem as though Joe Biden was in power for the past four years.

00:17:52.080 So, effectively, he did walk away peacefully from, you know, the transfer of power, but he really didn't.

00:18:00.980 And you could watch exchanges between Bill Maher and Megyn Kelly, where you can see it doesn't matter what Megyn says.

00:18:11.580 And he just, Bill Maher just repeats, he hasn't conceded, and this is a death to democracy.

00:18:17.520 Okay, so there are very, very deceptive tools that people use to ensure that their world is never violated, that they're always right.

00:18:32.740 That's what a malignant narcissist does, right?

00:18:36.160 If I come home and I speak in a curt way to one of my Belgian shepherds, I will go back and hug them and say, I'm so sorry about that. 0.74

00:18:49.680 Give them a big kiss on their juicy muzzle. 1.00

00:18:52.320 And it doesn't diminish me to admit that I was wrong.

00:18:55.440 Just a few days ago, I had had a spicy exchange with a guy that I didn't know until people told me about him.

00:19:03.120 His name is Destiny, apparently.

00:19:06.300 He was on Tom Bilio, and so that clip came up where he was saying pure nonsense.

00:19:14.180 So, I went after him.

00:19:15.700 I had no idea who he was.

00:19:17.280 He seemed a bit like a castrato.

00:19:19.680 And so, I went after him, and then he came back after me, which to me is basically called Tuesday morning.

00:19:28.180 It's no big deal.

00:19:28.800 Well, much more formidable people than that castrato come after me.

00:19:33.920 But then someone said, oh, you should go and see his personal life, his personal story.

00:19:38.680 And it turns out that he was in an open marriage.

00:19:41.700 His wife was getting schlocked by other guys. 1.00

00:19:45.320 He got hurt.

00:19:46.160 Boo-hoo-hoo. 1.00

00:19:46.980 Well, if you're in an open marriage, don't start crying if your wife is getting philosophized by other men.

00:19:53.300 But in any case, I made allusion to that in one of my replies.

00:19:59.860 And then for the next day, it sat very badly with me.

00:20:03.260 I didn't like that. 0.99

00:20:04.280 Even though everything that people told me about him was that he's a real cretin and a real creep. 1.00

00:20:10.800 One of the things that, you know, I hold myself to a higher standard than some of these assholes. 0.98

00:20:17.540 And so I went back and both on his thread and then I retweeted it so that everybody would see it. 0.97

00:20:24.040 I apologized to him.

00:20:25.160 I said, look, I, you know, that was, I didn't like the way I said that about, you know, because listen, maybe the guy is truly hurting in terms of his personal life.

00:20:33.280 And in my view, it was a shitty thing for me to say that.

00:20:36.860 Now, what did that take?

00:20:38.160 It took humility on my part, right?

00:20:41.980 Because I could say I will never apologize, right?

00:20:47.080 But it takes humility.

00:20:49.160 It's a costly signal of your honesty to be willing.

00:20:53.480 I mean, I have over a million followers on X to say, hey, I think I didn't act well.

00:20:58.620 By the way, people started getting super angry at me, a lot more angry at me that I apologized to him because they were saying, oh, you shouldn't apologize to him.

00:21:05.400 So, which basic, this is another lesson, just do what you think is right.

00:21:08.900 Don't listen to what people think you should do in terms of what is right.

00:21:12.580 But why am I telling this story is because I'm demonstrating to you that I walk the walk and talk the talk.

00:21:17.860 If I feel that I've done something wrong, then I will stand up and apologize for it.

00:21:22.980 And by the way, sometimes if I retweet something and it turns out to be wrong, people say, well, why don't you delete it?

00:21:28.420 Well, I don't delete it because I want it to be publicly available that I then corrected the record.

00:21:34.680 If I delete it, it's as if it never happened.

00:21:37.920 Okay, so that's the level of purity and honesty that I abide by.

00:21:41.820 So, Sam Harris and Bill Maher and all the rest of these guys could come out and say, you know what?

00:21:48.660 There are many reasons why we may disagree with Trump.

00:21:53.600 But in retrospect, yes, he's not a Hitler.

00:21:58.380 He's not going to put people in front of a firing squad.

00:22:01.000 He's not going to kill people.

00:22:02.620 That was inappropriate for us to say.

00:22:04.500 And by the way, there are real consequences to speaking like that as per two assassination attempts. 0.99

00:22:09.840 If you convince your huge audience that there is this guy who's running for president, who's going to eat your children, rape your women, and who's going to make Hitler look like a schoolgirl party. 0.97

00:22:21.940 Well, then it's incumbent on you to go out and do the right thing morally, right? 0.97

00:22:27.080 So, standing on top of your platform when you have a huge platform does come with responsibilities.

00:22:34.100 Of course, say whatever you want.

00:22:35.940 I mean, as long as you don't incite violence and so on.

00:22:37.780 But in this case, one can argue indirectly you're certainly inciting violence against Donald Trump by doubling down on the fact that he is, you know, worse than Hitler and worse than Osama bin Laden and so on.

00:22:49.320 So, that's number one.

00:22:50.600 To give you another example of how ugly that trait is, when Sam Harris was saying all the things that he was saying about COVID, and then every single syllable that he uttered turned out to be wrong in terms of the actual reality.

00:23:13.740 He went on, if you remember, I can't remember if it was, I don't think it was on trigonometry.

00:23:18.840 I think it was on some show with some other guy that I don't know who he is, where he said, I'm paraphrasing, if everything that I had assumed had happened, and if the reality had been exactly opposite to what it turned out to be, then I would have been right.

00:23:38.880 And therefore, I think it was perfectly reasonable that I took the position that I did.

00:23:44.620 Just go and track it down in case you're thinking I'm being hyperbolic. 0.97

00:23:48.960 He didn't say, in retrospect, every single one of my bullshit predictions turned out to be wrong, and my logic was faulty. 0.97

00:23:57.320 I mean, literally every single syllable that came out of his mouth, I'm going to be nice, turned out to be incorrect. 0.97

00:24:08.920 But hey, had it turned out the way that I had said it, then I would have been right.

00:24:15.260 So, in my progressive lisp way in Malibu, I was right, to which I put out a sad truth clip, and I called it, 0.95

00:24:25.060 if my grandmother had balls, we would have called her my grandfather. 1.00

00:24:30.040 Or let me say to you, for those of you who like to hear it in Arabic, 0.93

00:24:34.320 إِذَا سِتِّي كَنْ عَنْدَ بَيْضَاتِ كِنَّ سَمِّنَاهَا جِدِّ

00:24:38.260 Yeah, you want me to say it again for you? I know it's very sexy.

00:24:42.760 إِذَا سِتِّي كَنْ عَنْدَ بِضَاتِ كِنَّ سَمِّنَاهَا جِدِّ 0.98

00:24:48.020 If my grandmother had testicles, we would have called her my grandfather. 0.97

00:24:52.300 What that demonstrates is, if this and if that, and if it had turned out the way I thought I would have been right, 0.98

00:24:59.360 and if Trump wants to show that he's Hitler, it'll be in his second term, so I still think I'm right. 0.92

00:25:04.940 That is the hallmark of a dishonest Cretan.

00:25:10.220 I have nothing personal against Bill Maher.

00:25:12.920 If anything, I could argue that I'm shooting myself in the foot here,

00:25:16.900 because, hey, it'll be good to get on Bill Maher.

00:25:19.300 I could sell more books.

00:25:20.960 But it never is right to put your careerist interests in front of the truth. 1.00

00:25:27.080 Bill Maher is acting like a jackass. 0.99

00:25:29.800 Why? Because he's not willing. 1.00

00:25:31.720 I mean, he is right on a lot of things, and I, you know, there are many, many things that he said.

00:25:36.860 By the way, so is Sam Harris, right?

00:25:39.360 I'd like to think that Sam Harris and I, I mean, we're, you know, the best of friends, but we had met socially.

00:25:44.260 We had spoken, you know, I went on a show.

00:25:47.660 I don't hold any personal animus.

00:25:49.920 I don't wish them ill will.

00:25:52.080 But you have huge platforms.

00:25:55.520 Be dignified.

00:25:56.600 Be honest.

00:25:57.460 Admit when you're wrong.

00:25:58.820 Now, why does that matter?

00:25:59.820 Because there's a million people, what million?

00:26:02.280 There's hundreds of millions of people who are voting in the election, and many of them say, hey, I trust my Democratic politician.

00:26:11.440 I trust Sam Harris.

00:26:12.760 I trust Bill Maher.

00:26:14.380 I trust J-Lo.

00:26:15.940 Oh, by the way, J-Lo came out a few days ago, you know, crying and, you know, emoting that, you know, you have to vote for Kamala Harris.

00:26:25.200 And, of course, Professor Dr. J-Lo is the right person to offer such advice because she's a great judge of character as per, you know, her connection, her choosing Diddy as her soulmate once upon a time where she went apparently to those parties. 0.99

00:26:46.100 So, don't listen to guys like, you know, Elon Musk and Bill Ackman and David Sachs, and if I may put myself in this category who say Trump is a much better, we're all idiots. 0.82

00:27:00.720 Instead, listen to Rob Reiner, listen to Stephen King, listen to Barbara Streisand, listen to Scarlett Johansson, listen to J-Lo, listen to Bryan Cranston. 0.91

00:27:13.040 They are the ones who really have done the heavy lifting when it comes to who is best for the United States as U.S. President.

00:27:21.860 OK, so that's another one. I'm going to go back to a topic that I discussed many times.

00:27:29.120 Some of you may have heard me mention this. It's getting drunk by smelling the cork of the wine bottle.

00:27:37.500 Now, some of you have heard it. It's still worth re-hearing. Some of you have never heard it.

00:27:41.600 So, let me explain what that saying means. It's, again, it's an Arabic saying, which I'm translating.

00:27:48.240 When you say you get drunk by simply smelling the cork of the wine bottle, it means that you are of weak constituency.

00:27:58.820 That means you don't have to actually, you know, drink the bottle before you get drunk.

00:28:03.540 You simply take a whiff and you're already drunk.

00:28:06.520 Now, of course, you apply that to your ability to think, right?

00:28:10.880 If, and so this is how I apply it, right?

00:28:13.000 So, if you ask someone, why are you voting for Kamala?

00:28:18.540 Well, it's time. She's a woman. It's time. She smiles.

00:28:23.400 She's happy. You know, Trump is grotesque. Trump is mean. He's vain, right? 0.99

00:28:30.340 So, what you're doing is you're smelling the cork of the wine bottle

00:28:34.580 and that you're using peripheral cosmetic cues to arrive at a judgment.

00:28:39.380 You hate Trump because he's an aesthetic injury to you.

00:28:43.440 You love Obama because he has a mellifluous voice and a radiant smile. 1.00

00:28:47.720 Every single syllable that he's ever uttered or thought is pure, absolute bullshit. 0.99

00:28:53.780 There is not a single semantic content in any verbal utterance that he's ever said. 0.99

00:29:00.720 But, my God, he says it with such beautiful cadence of a Southern Baptist minister.

00:29:05.800 Look, I'm getting drunk. You see, I'm getting drunk. I'm getting woozy.

00:29:08.400 I'm going to get a DUI simply because I listened to his beautiful mellifluous voice, right?

00:29:14.800 That's what politicians do, right?

00:29:17.860 Now, if you're smart, you're able to break through that distortion.

00:29:25.000 You're able to say, well, what are my five most important issues?

00:29:30.620 And which candidate better describes them?

00:29:33.900 By the way, all of my colleagues who are professors, who are supposed to be super smart people,

00:29:39.980 many of whom are literally in my areas of psychology of decision making,

00:29:46.180 behavioral scientists, consumer psychologists, evolutionary psychologists, social psychologists,

00:29:52.240 business school professors that are business psychologists, 0.99

00:29:55.260 they all succumb to this bullshit. 0.99

00:29:56.720 So, they go to class on Monday to teach us about psychology of advertising, 1.00

00:30:01.620 but then they succumb to every single one of the parasitic ideas and suicidal empathy parasites 0.95

00:30:08.020 that I've been warning about, warning against for decades, resulting in the parasitic mind.

00:30:15.500 And now, as some of you know, I'm working on my next book, Suicidal Empathy.

00:30:20.000 Okay, now, a few days ago, I put up a thing.

00:30:25.120 I saw that Arnold, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Republican governor, right?

00:30:32.000 Republican governor.

00:30:32.900 Imagine in California, until very recently, within all of our lifespans,

00:30:39.840 there was a Republican governor.

00:30:42.280 Of course, Reagan, too, was Republican.

00:30:45.500 He was from California, but that may seem like a long time ago when I was in high school.

00:30:50.080 But Schwarzenegger is much closer.

00:30:52.080 Now, he came out in support of Kamala Harris.

00:30:54.940 So, I put out a tweet, which I'm going to read for you now.

00:30:57.600 It received tons of views.

00:31:00.460 Sorry, I still use the term tweet.

00:31:02.300 Maybe I should say post or whatever.

00:31:04.900 So, I put out the following.

00:31:06.840 And these were just off the top of my head.

00:31:08.660 I literally, it took me five minutes to write this post.

00:31:11.720 I could have spent a lot more time and generated many other reasons why someone might vote for one party or the other.

00:31:21.200 But let me read them for you, in case you're one of the independent, undecided voters yet.

00:31:26.400 Okay, here we go.

00:31:28.160 So, let me ask, this is me.

00:31:29.960 I'm reading now the post that I sent to Schwarzenegger, which, regrettably, he hasn't responded to.

00:31:36.860 Let me ask you a few questions and perhaps you'd be kind enough to reflect on these and respond.

00:31:42.020 Number one, there are 13 of this, so bear with me.

00:31:44.280 Which party has trampled more on freedom of speech over the past 10 years?

00:31:50.420 Now, here I'm going to editorialize.

00:31:52.300 I'm going to add some content.

00:31:53.860 Do you remember when, before Elon Musk took over X, how everybody was censored?

00:32:02.280 Physicians and epidemiologists could not take a position that was contrary to the accepted, settled science position.

00:32:10.360 Which party was the one that was doing that?

00:32:15.500 Which party was celebrating that Donald Trump, the sitting president, was kicked off the platform at the time called Twitter?

00:32:23.820 Okay, so when it comes to the First Amendment, it is unquestionable.

00:32:29.700 It's unassailable which party is less for First Amendment.

00:32:35.280 But let me go on.

00:32:36.000 This will come up again.

00:32:36.980 So, which party has trampled more on freedom of speech over the past 10 years?

00:32:40.920 I mean, it is literally the case, people, that if you were a single-issue voter where First Amendment and freedom of speech is your most important issue,

00:32:50.140 that would be already sufficient rational reason for you to vote for Donald Trump.

00:32:55.700 Notwithstanding any other thing you might not like about him.

00:32:58.580 So, I'm not questioning that he can be bombastic and so on and vain, right?

00:33:03.740 But if you are, now, if I'm going to use the fancy term from my psychology of decision-making training,

00:33:10.860 if you want to use the lexicographic rule, lexicographic rule simply means I will choose the alternative that scores best on my most important attribute.

00:33:19.460 So, if my most important attribute is First Amendment, then I will choose Trump.

00:33:24.860 If my most important attribute is immigration, then I will choose Trump.

00:33:28.260 As I explained to Sam Harris in 2016, and I warned him that it was wrong for him and all of his progressive friends to be saying that, you know, 1.00

00:33:39.420 only degenerates and deplorables and garbage people and idiots and low-content information voters, 1.00

00:33:46.380 what kind of elitist is it to treat millions and millions of people as though they are degenerate idiots? 1.00

00:33:53.620 Yes, but that's what it is when you are part of the anointed ones, to use the term of Thomas Sowell. 0.99

00:33:59.440 Okay, so number one, which party has trampled more on freedom of speech over the past 10 years?

00:34:03.460 Two, which party has been more lax in terms of the open borders?

00:34:07.740 Which party is literally trying to import millions of illegal immigrants who then,

00:34:17.100 the reciprocal agreement is that you will forevermore be indebted to us and vote for us

00:34:23.200 so that we can create a super majority, one-party system in the United States?

00:34:29.000 Which party is doing that?

00:34:31.100 What are the stats on how many illegal immigrants have come into the country

00:34:35.180 when all of the different presidents were on?

00:34:39.320 How does Kamala Harris and Joe Biden fare on that metric?

00:34:44.220 Let's go on, number three.

00:34:45.300 Okay, which party promotes collectivism as per diversity, inclusion, and equity

00:34:50.720 over individual dignity and meritocracy?

00:34:53.840 The Democrats, right?

00:34:55.540 So the first question, not that I need to answer,

00:34:58.020 which party is more against the First Amendment?

00:35:00.740 The Democrats.

00:35:01.660 Which party is more lax about open border policies?

00:35:04.860 The Democrats.

00:35:05.720 Which party is more for identity politics, collectivism, tribalism, diversity, inclusion,

00:35:12.620 equity over individual dignity and meritocracy?

00:35:15.720 The Democrats.

00:35:17.040 If I didn't utter a single word, those three reasons are 100% justifications while you should

00:35:25.340 never vote for Democrats, at least not the current version of Democrats.

00:35:29.480 See, I didn't have to say Trump.

00:35:31.040 I didn't have to say Kamala Harris.

00:35:32.640 Vote on policies, on issues, on the ethos that is exemplified by both candidates.

00:35:40.980 Let's go on.

00:35:41.860 Number four.

00:35:42.800 Which party is more likely to state that the science is settled when to do so is the most

00:35:48.180 anti-scientific position that one can take?

00:35:51.200 Right?

00:35:51.400 Who told us repeatedly, climate science, it's settled. 1.00

00:35:57.540 Transgender, women can have nine-inch penises, that's settled. 1.00

00:36:02.400 Women, men can bear children, that's settled. 1.00

00:36:05.920 Men can menstruate, that's settled. 0.99

00:36:10.200 There is no biological difference that a man has over a woman in athletic sports, that's settled. 0.90

00:36:18.000 Those things are settled.

00:36:19.420 We will not tolerate you saying anything again.

00:36:23.420 By the way, I gave a plenary address at USC on a one-day conference on the Enlightenment. 0.98

00:36:31.500 For fuck's sakes, the Enlightenment values. 0.95

00:36:35.080 And it was a very professorial lecture on deontological versus consequentialist ethics. 0.99

00:36:40.420 During the Q&A, it was the most insane Q&A you could ever imagine.

00:36:44.100 So insane that they decided not to release it, despite the fact that they had told me that they would.

00:36:49.740 Because they knew that I would share it on my massive platform and it wouldn't look good for USC.

00:36:54.780 One person said, a lot of the stuff that you've said in this talk and in this Q&A should have the government stopping you from saying.

00:37:05.260 I said, oh yeah?

00:37:06.160 Can you give me an example of something that I've said that was dangerous?

00:37:10.700 You're ready for this?

00:37:12.460 The person said, this is a researcher at USC.

00:37:16.360 The person said, well, when you say things like only women bear children and only women menstruate, that's dangerous talk.

00:37:25.160 I said, so let me just rephrase what you just said.

00:37:29.760 Me stating that only women bear children and only women menstruate puts me on the wrong side of this issue?

00:37:38.700 And his answer was, yes.

00:37:41.940 That's what happens when your mind is parasitized.

00:37:45.720 I wasn't at a crystal meth meeting.

00:37:48.500 Well, I was at USC, so it's pretty much indistinguishable.

00:37:51.860 Okay, that's what's happening in universities.

00:37:56.460 Let's go on.

00:37:58.940 Which party tramples on the rights of biological females when it comes to allowing biological males into their athletic competitions, their dressing rooms, their prisons? 1.00

00:38:07.840 Who's doing that?

00:38:10.020 So the Democrats are the party of women and Trump hates women? 0.99

00:38:14.600 Who is letting in male prisoners to rape female prisoners? 1.00

00:38:21.200 Who's letting in male swimmers in women's locker rooms so that, you know, the female swimmers can see the female penis of the male swimmer, who's a woman, because he calls himself Linda. 0.99

00:38:40.140 Who's doing that?

00:38:42.080 Who resulted in 900 women losing medals? 0.98

00:38:47.200 Oh, come on. 0.87

00:38:48.040 Professor Saad, Dr. Saad, stop exaggerating.

00:38:51.200 As they told me at the Canadian Senate in 2017, when I said there will be severe consequences.

00:38:58.300 Do we owe the 900 women who spent the last 15 years of their life training because now they're not on the podium? 0.97

00:39:05.820 Well, no, because suicidal empathy.

00:39:07.820 Because the feelings of transgender folks matter more than half of humanity called, you know what they're called?

00:39:17.060 They're called women. 1.00

00:39:18.020 Which party is violating that? 0.95

00:39:21.800 Which party is raping the ambitions of women, if not their bodies? 1.00

00:39:30.480 The Democrats or the Republicans? 0.99

00:39:32.800 But brah, abortion. 1.00

00:39:34.860 Roe versus Wade.

00:39:36.660 Let's go on.

00:39:37.620 Which party is more likely to adopt economic policies that are in line with socialism, much more so than capitalism?

00:39:46.380 Which party?

00:39:47.580 Is the United States a socialist country or is the United States a capitalist country?

00:39:52.460 Do we have any data from the past 100 years as to whether maximal flourishing of individuals, if not societies, happen under a capitalistic or a socialist government?

00:40:04.580 But hey, don't let evidence get in the way of your preferred ideology. 0.96

00:40:09.120 The only person that I have ever seen in public or private life that is dumber, maybe not dumber than Kamala Harris is Justin Trudeau. 0.97

00:40:30.800 The only difference is that Kamala Harris is a lot more masculine than Justin Trudeau. 0.98

00:40:37.420 It sounds like I'm trying to be funny, but they know nothing.

00:40:41.640 They've read nothing.

00:40:43.380 They believe in nothing.

00:40:45.460 Their shells, their craniums are filled with parasitized jello.

00:40:50.400 That's who's going to lead the most important country in the world, the last bastion of freedom, a woman who learns lines that are straight out of socialism and communism. 1.00

00:41:04.420 I will institute, you know, whatever, price controls and so on.

00:41:09.720 I've already done a whole clip on that.

00:41:15.280 She comes from a Marxist family.

00:41:17.600 It doesn't take a fancy professor to tell you that you're likely going to be influenced by the environment in which you've grown up. 1.00

00:41:26.220 That's why Barack Obama is an asshole socialist, Marxist. 0.99

00:41:30.240 That's why Kamala Harris is a Marxist socialist, because that's what she's been taught, right? 1.00

00:41:39.300 It's not necessarily because she's innately evil, right?

00:41:42.260 See, unlike all of the Democrats, I'm not purporting that Kamala Harris is dispositionally an evil person. 0.98

00:41:51.140 She's astoundingly dumb, incredibly poorly read, knows nothing, can't think on her feet, can't utter a single sentence, can't have any emotional intelligence to connect with anybody. 0.97

00:42:04.240 But she has some knee pad abilities, and that has allowed her to ascend the hierarchy by, wink, wink, descending the hierarchy, so to speak. 0.99

00:42:17.400 And that has allowed her to potentially, in three days, hold the most important position in the world.

00:42:25.520 Is Trump a perfect candidate? Absolutely not.

00:42:28.840 Does he exemplify American values to an astoundingly higher level than Kamala?

00:42:35.760 Nothing could be clearer.

00:42:38.320 Vote carefully.

00:42:39.280 Now, what worries me is that all of the people that are in this X spaces are probably already Trump voters. 0.91

00:42:46.060 That's why I would love to go on shows from the left, because the goal is not to try to persuade those whom I already agree with me.

00:42:54.400 It's to try to persuade those who are parasitized, who do suffer from suicidal empathy.

00:42:59.480 Okay, let me go on through the list.

00:43:01.040 I'm at number seven now.

00:43:02.500 Which party is more lax on criminals?

00:43:04.320 Which party consistently alters the judicial system so that you are more empathetic to criminals?

00:43:15.220 Which party removes the three strikes and your outlaw in California?

00:43:21.580 Which party is against the death penalty even for guys who have killed and sodomized children with their DNA on them?

00:43:27.880 Because it's not right.

00:43:28.920 Which party allows incredibly lax bail procedures and parole systems?

00:43:36.380 Which party is more likely to say that if a criminal is a criminal, that's because society has failed him?

00:43:45.120 By the way, this is all going to be in my forthcoming book.

00:43:47.420 Which party does that?

00:43:48.540 So if you care about safety, if you care about closing the borders, if you care about individual dignity and individual meritocracy, is the choice not clear?

00:44:02.760 You could still hate Trump.

00:44:04.380 And there might be very, very good personal reasons why you hate Trump.

00:44:07.220 You don't like his style.

00:44:08.360 You don't like the way he brags.

00:44:11.140 You don't like his humor.

00:44:12.760 All good stuff.

00:44:13.680 But nobody's asking you to have him as your best friend or as your lover.

00:44:17.620 People are asking you to make a choice that have downstream effect on the entire world.

00:44:24.220 Kamala Harris exhibit those traits?

00:44:27.500 Let's go on.

00:44:30.380 Which party is a greater supporter of the Second Amendment?

00:44:35.000 Right?

00:44:35.620 Suddenly now, the lobotomized cackler, she's a gun owner. 1.00

00:44:41.760 She's John Wayne.

00:44:43.680 Who's been consistently trying to infringe on the Second Amendment?

00:44:48.080 Democrats or Republicans?

00:44:50.360 Let's go on.

00:44:53.280 Professors who belong to which party are most likely to be the originators of all of the parasitic ideas that are destroying the West?

00:45:01.220 That's my 2020 book, The Parasitic Mind, right?

00:45:03.600 Every single idea that is destroying the fabric of the West stems from leftist Democrat professors.

00:45:12.100 Every single one.

00:45:15.380 Now, it's not hard to explain why that is, because most professors are leftist Democrats. 0.99

00:45:21.480 And therefore, they're going to be the ones who are spawning, promulgating all of the bullshit that comes out of the universities. 0.99

00:45:29.800 But those bullshit ideas become our prime ministers and our presidents and our CEOs and our filmmakers and our songwriters and our journalists. 0.99

00:45:40.180 So they chokehold all of the cultural creations and therefore all of the members of the Anointed Ones who have a progressive lisp. 1.00

00:45:51.560 You see, now I'm speaking with a progressive lisp because I'm smarter than all of you assholes because you're all garbage. 0.98

00:45:58.020 One of the reasons why I resonate with millions of people is because notwithstanding the fact that I'm a professor and I've got all those fancy titles and so on, 0.99

00:46:08.640 I am a man of the people in that I don't talk down to people.

00:46:16.040 As a matter of fact, as I've explained a million times, I prefer to receive a fan email from a trucker who goes from Toledo to Oregon and listens to my show and says he's found a new love for evolutionary psychology by listening on my show

00:46:32.980 than if it were a smarmy colleague of mine who said that he read my paper and loved it.

00:46:37.860 Not that I don't appreciate that, of course I do.

00:46:40.280 But when you resonate with the average person, then your message is appealing.

00:46:48.180 Most professors can't relate to the people down there.

00:46:52.260 They can't relate to the farmers, to the welders, to the electricians, to the corrections officers, to the police officers. 1.00

00:46:59.440 They're asshole, lowly people to the Democrats, right? 1.00

00:47:04.860 No, no, no, no. 1.00

00:47:06.740 They're the ones who do the heavy lifting in society so that people like me can have the opportunity to sit in the ivory tower and think and hopefully come up with good ideas.

00:47:18.520 That's not what my colleagues think. 1.00

00:47:21.260 They think you're all assholes. 1.00

00:47:22.560 They think that if you vote for someone that is different from them, it's because you are immoral. 1.00

00:47:29.280 You're a degenerate. 0.98

00:47:30.700 They say it to me. 1.00

00:47:31.580 They've said it to me.

00:47:32.820 That's what we talk about in faculty clubs. 0.59

00:47:36.180 And of course, since I'm a very outspoken professor that doesn't support their ideas,

00:47:41.500 I no longer get invited to the faculty parties.

00:47:44.900 All right, let's go on.

00:47:46.060 Number 10, this is, remember, I'm talking to Arnold Schwarzenegger.

00:47:53.020 You were in a film where you had gotten pregnant. 0.62

00:47:55.280 I don't remember the name of the movie.

00:47:56.460 It's with Danny DeVito.

00:47:58.460 Which party is more likely to espouse the position that men too can get pregnant and have menstrual cycles?

00:48:05.140 Number 11, which party is more likely to grant massive amounts of taxpayer money to illegal immigrants over American vets?

00:48:12.400 So an American vet says, hey, yeah, yeah, choose me.

00:48:16.000 I'll go and fight your war in Iraq. 1.00

00:48:18.920 I'll go and fight your war in Afghanistan. 1.00

00:48:22.280 I will come back with permanent psychological damage. 0.99

00:48:25.820 I will come back with limbs blown off.

00:48:28.800 I will come back damaged physically, spiritually, emotionally.

00:48:34.600 But hey, when I come back, will you take care of me? 0.93

00:48:38.340 Number 13, which party is more likely to say, shut up, American vet.

00:48:43.560 I got to give that money to the MS-13 gang members and the Venezuelan gang members upon coming into the United States. 0.86

00:48:51.260 Which party is more likely to do that?

00:48:56.520 Let's go on.

00:48:58.240 Number 12, which party is more in line with the I have a dream message from Martin Luther King?

00:49:03.660 What is the message of Martin Luther King?

00:49:05.840 Remember the old thing?

00:49:08.240 I dream that one day my daughter can live in a world where she's judged based on the content of her character and not the color of her skin.

00:49:17.800 Remember that little speech?

00:49:19.900 Yeah.

00:49:20.960 Does Kamala Harris abide by that?

00:49:23.220 So let's suppose you're someone who is a fan of the ideals of Martin Luther King.

00:49:30.400 The United States has a day that is reserved as a federal holiday for Martin Luther King because he exemplifies the best, the aspiration of what the American ethos should be.

00:49:43.800 Yes?

00:49:44.300 That's why we have him in the history books.

00:49:47.740 Does Kamala Harris adhere to that principle or does she violate it? 1.00

00:49:54.800 Use simple words so I can follow. 0.98

00:49:56.820 It's fucking unbelievable the level of degeneracy that I see in the United States. 0.99

00:50:05.920 When I say the United States, it's everywhere. 1.00

00:50:07.980 Where there are people, there is stupidity. 1.00

00:50:11.000 That's why the quote attributed to Einstein, which I'm sure I will botch. 1.00

00:50:16.340 There are only two things that I am assured of, you know, the infinite stupidity of the universe and the infinite stupidity of people. 0.99

00:50:25.500 And I'm not so sure about the universe or something to that effect. 1.00

00:50:28.600 Meaning that many, many brilliant people have remarked in various ways, sometimes humorous, sometimes serious, at how bafflingly stupid most people are. 0.99

00:50:39.800 And I don't mean that as an elitist thing. 1.00

00:50:41.600 I say that with great regret. 1.00

00:50:43.280 Because it doesn't matter if you're stupid in the conduct of your, you know, myopic personal life. 1.00

00:50:49.360 But it does matter when you might be putting in the White House a complete shell of a human being who knows nothing. 1.00

00:51:01.140 By the way, Kamala Harris is exactly my age. 0.94

00:51:04.840 Kamala Harris went to high school very close to where I went to high school.

00:51:09.720 I played soccer against Kamala Harris high school when Kamala Harris was at that high school. 0.96

00:51:17.740 Okay.

00:51:18.420 The high school that she went at, too, is the worst.

00:51:22.980 I mean, it's not a very prestigious high school.

00:51:25.640 And even back then, even more so today. 0.99

00:51:28.520 She sucked. 1.00

00:51:29.920 She did very poorly. 1.00

00:51:31.720 She failed.

00:51:32.360 She didn't get into law school until she, you know, got through some scam.

00:51:37.760 She failed her bar exam. 1.00

00:51:39.200 She's a moron. 1.00

00:51:41.500 I know cucumbers that graduated from law school. 1.00

00:51:46.240 You just have to have a pulse to graduate from law school.

00:51:49.700 She didn't graduate out of Yale and clerked for a Supreme Court justice. 0.99

00:51:53.280 She graduated from some shitty college. 1.00

00:51:56.720 Okay, fine. 1.00

00:51:57.200 Howard, the black Harvard. 0.53

00:51:59.020 By the way, I interviewed at Howard for my first professorship.

00:52:02.760 In any case, let's go on.

00:52:03.800 Number 13, last point.

00:52:06.720 Which party is more desirous of setting up a misinformation and disinformation board, an idea that is antithetical to the most basic tenets of the First Amendment?

00:52:16.460 Right.

00:52:16.640 Do you remember when the Biden administration brought this woman to be the first czar of disinformation and misinformation?

00:52:23.020 I mean, literally, the second that every American hears that the sitting administration is setting up a disinformation and misinformation board, that should be disqualifying to ever hold power again.

00:52:40.060 It is contrary to the most fundamental principle of a free society.

00:52:47.120 Who gets to choose what is misinformation and disinformation?

00:52:51.220 The stating that the lab came from China, is that now misinformation, disinformation, or is it true?

00:52:57.660 That the COVID vaccine protects you and you cannot spread it after you have, is that true or is that misinformation? 0.95

00:53:06.400 That women can have nine-inch penises, is that true or is that misinformation? 0.66

00:53:11.220 That women can, too, bear children, is that misinformation or disinformation or is it veridical? 1.00

00:53:16.520 So, once you say that we need to set up a system to protect you, because otherwise you idiotic plebs would not be able to handle information, 1.00

00:53:31.520 then you've fallen into the worst instance of Kafkaesque and Orwellian nightmares. 0.99

00:53:39.880 Which party has been calling for those kinds of misinformation and disinformation boards?

00:53:45.040 I mean, literally, I've given you 13 reasons that any three of those 13 should make it clear who you should vote for.

00:53:57.420 And yet, Sam Harris will say, yeah, yeah, sure, God, sure, Professor Dr. Saad, with all your fancy thinking.

00:54:06.580 But Trump is an existential threat.

00:54:09.040 Why, Sammy?

00:54:10.340 Why, Sammy boy?

00:54:11.420 Well, because he's never conceded defeat.

00:54:13.940 How so, Sammy?

00:54:16.400 How so, degenerate Sammy?

00:54:18.320 Has he been in power?

00:54:19.760 Did he relish?

00:54:20.460 Well, he created January 6th where there was a massive military coup.

00:54:24.580 It was a military coup.

00:54:26.220 It was an insurrection.

00:54:27.920 Who died?

00:54:28.940 Hundreds of policemen died.

00:54:30.660 Well, not really.

00:54:31.480 Only one died from a stroke.

00:54:33.520 The actual person who actually died was shot by Capitol Police.

00:54:36.920 So, you see, the veracity of information doesn't matter when people want to protect their ideologies.

00:54:45.440 Now, I expect that from the common person.

00:54:49.020 I don't mean that in an elitist way.

00:54:50.500 But if you stand with your progressive lisp, if you've written a book called Lying, where this is Sam Harris, where he is rejecting living a life of lies, how could you sleep at night promulgating such lies?

00:55:09.100 What kind of human being are you?

00:55:12.120 All right. 0.63

00:55:12.960 I'm almost done.

00:55:15.980 I wanted to read to you something that happened to my daughter a couple of days ago.

00:55:23.160 I'm going to read to you the post verbatim.

00:55:29.480 This is from October 31st.

00:55:32.780 It's gotten almost 2 million views.

00:55:34.280 My daughter called me earlier this afternoon to tell me that she wanted to hold a debate about Trump versus Harris in her class.

00:55:42.540 The teacher told her something to the effect, quote, I suppose that you are for Trump, close quote.

00:55:48.300 By the way, I wonder how he would know that because it's not as though my daughter is walking around with a MAGA hat, probably because he knows that she's my daughter.

00:55:56.780 My daughter replied, yes, of course. 0.67

00:55:58.900 He retorted that his child is queer and would not be allowed in the U.S. until Donald Trump, an astounding falsehood that is unbefitting of a teacher.

00:56:10.200 Did you hear what I just said? 0.95

00:56:11.920 If Trump wins, trans people would not be allowed in the United States. 1.00

00:56:17.960 So this teacher's kid would never be allowed in the United States.

00:56:21.840 Because right now, we don't have any proof that there are trans people who live in the United States and that lived so under Trump.

00:56:30.520 Like there would be no way for us to falsify the veracity of that information.

00:56:35.340 This is a teacher speaking.

00:56:36.820 Let's go on.

00:56:37.920 My daughter replies, quote, yeah, well, Kamala Harris would allow men to be in the bathroom shower with me in reference to so-called trans women, close quote. 0.95

00:56:47.260 The teacher responds, quote, sit down now, you ready?

00:56:52.280 So what's the big deal?

00:56:53.320 Not all of them are going to be sexual, to sexually assault you, close quote.

00:56:57.720 And then I conclude my post.

00:57:00.740 You see, his queer child's feelings are more important than the rights of my teenage daughter to not have men in the locker room with her. 0.97

00:57:09.280 Vote carefully on November 5th, 2024.

00:57:12.140 It is breathtaking.

00:57:13.480 I think that another fatherly intervention is forthcoming.

00:57:17.260 Now, this is a Canadian teacher at a Montreal high school.

00:57:22.980 Why is he so hateful of Trump?

00:57:26.440 Because he's a teacher.

00:57:28.160 Because all teachers, all social workers, all clinical psychologists, all therapists, all journalists, all movie producers, all actors, all professors, know the reality.

00:57:41.180 Democrats, good.

00:57:43.340 Republicans, no.

00:57:44.380 If I sit down with them and I start applying my GAD approach to test them, they wilt like little castrated invertebrates.

00:57:56.600 Because all they know is Democrats.

00:57:59.780 See, Democrats, in that word, contain the concept of Democrat, democracy.

00:58:07.600 Therefore, the Democrats are good. 0.92

00:58:09.640 Republicans are bad. 0.99

00:58:11.200 Republicans are hicks. 0.98

00:58:12.920 Republicans are against evolution.

00:58:15.060 Republicans are more religious.

00:58:16.380 I'm a good person.

00:58:17.380 I'm a good person.

00:58:17.940 I'm a liberal person.

00:58:19.320 Therefore, I vote for the Liberal Party in Canada.

00:58:22.700 Even though every single position that the Liberal Party in Canada is the definition of illiberal policies, that's too much for me to think.

00:58:33.900 I just prefer to say liberals good, conservatives bad.

00:58:37.980 So, let me now conclude everything.

00:58:41.280 Most people have the cognitive ability to think through things that is equivalent to that of a squirrel.

00:58:49.660 By the way, my condolences to Peanut, who was whisked away with the raccoon and killed by the overreach of government.

00:58:59.540 So, most people prefer to use simplifying heuristics in making decisions.

00:59:06.420 One of which is to let your emotional system guide your decisions.

00:59:10.860 Why?

00:59:11.540 Because your emotions are autonomic.

00:59:14.580 Kamala smiles.

00:59:16.160 Kamala has lady parts of color. 1.00

00:59:19.000 Good enough for me.

00:59:20.540 I'm a good person.

00:59:22.120 It's time for a change.

00:59:23.960 Why? 1.00

00:59:24.220 Because the first 46 presidents had testicles and they had a penis. 1.00

00:59:30.300 We need something that has different genitalia. 1.00

00:59:33.840 Therefore, I'm a good person.

00:59:35.520 That's why I'm voting for her.

00:59:37.440 It doesn't matter that everything that she stands for might be against every single thing that I understand the United States to be.

00:59:44.840 But I'm a good person.

00:59:46.740 That's why my next book, Suicidal Empathy, is coming out.

00:59:49.620 Because while the parasitic mind deals with what happens to people when their cognitive systems are parasitized,

00:59:57.140 Suicidal Empathy will complete the story by showing you what happens when your emotional system is parasitized.

01:00:04.580 Oh boy, that was one hour.

01:00:07.660 I only wish that you can please, please, I beg you, send this to everyone you know.

01:00:14.500 Don't forget that this now is recorded on X.

01:00:17.160 Send it to people and say, hey, Professor Saad has just broken down some of the reasons.

01:00:22.880 You may like it.

01:00:23.760 You may not like it.

01:00:24.760 But at least have the decency to think before you make a decision.

01:00:31.220 By the way, you don't know how many people have written to me in Canada and have told me,

01:00:37.320 I feel so ashamed.

01:00:39.080 I wish that I would have listened to you when you were warning us about Justin Trudeau.

01:00:44.140 And it's not because I am an oracle, and it's not because I have a prophetic crystal ball.

01:00:50.300 It's because I am pathological in my commitment to truth.

01:00:55.540 I'm not in any way tribal.

01:00:57.900 There is a set of beliefs that I believe in,

01:01:00.940 and then whomever exemplifies those beliefs more is the one that I'm going to support.

01:01:07.580 So I don't care about what you label a party, right?

01:01:12.020 There are some issues that I'm incredibly socially liberal on. 0.99

01:01:15.380 I don't give a shit who you sleep with at night. 1.00

01:01:17.200 I don't give a shit about your trans stuff. 1.00

01:01:20.000 Live and let live. 0.99

01:01:21.760 But when it comes to economic policies, yes, capitalism is superior to socialism.

01:01:26.460 When it comes to the penal system, yes, there should be consequences if you do bad things.

01:01:31.580 It's very severe consequences.

01:01:35.160 You don't put on an empathy hat when dealing with someone who has raped children, 0.99

01:01:39.360 with someone who has raped women, with someone who has killed people. 0.98

01:01:43.820 No, you don't get to be a felon with 67 prior convictions, 0.98

01:01:49.980 and you're still walking on the street. 1.00

01:01:52.000 No, we throw away the fucking key. 0.99

01:01:54.620 Because Newton explained to us, for every action, there's a reaction. 0.99

01:01:58.240 In life, there's a thing called cause and effect.

01:02:00.460 For every cause, there's an effect.

01:02:03.320 There is a repercussion.

01:02:04.880 If you tell people that there are no consequences for them stealing, raping, killing, looting,

01:02:10.800 then people will do it.

01:02:12.620 It doesn't take a fancy psychologist to explain this to you.

01:02:16.500 Vote carefully on Tuesday.

01:02:20.020 God bless the United States.

01:02:21.860 Good luck.

01:02:22.540 Take care, everybody.

01:02:23.300 Cheers.
