00:00:30.000 We'll be right back.
00:01:00.000 We'll be right back.
00:01:30.000 Hello, everybody.
00:01:58.260 Welcome to the Shadow Davis Show.
00:01:59.800 we are live on all platforms tonight for a very special guest former uh royal canadian armed
00:02:07.400 forces member jeff ely evely joins the show tonight we're going to talk about c4 now if you
00:02:12.060 don't know what c4 is c4 is uh or was anyway a bill for what they call conversion therapy
00:02:18.340 now law it's been law for a while the problem is uh what parties supported it and what parties
00:02:24.820 didn't. And the answer to that is every party supported it. So Jeff is going to tell a story
00:02:29.700 about how he's been trying to get a parliamentary petition going through the Conservative Party of
00:02:34.280 Canada these past few months. And he's been rejected at every turn by MPs that we all thought
00:02:40.880 were the most conservative of conservative MPs. Jeff is coming on in a second. Tomorrow night on
00:02:47.660 the show. And again, it's going to be pretty much all week. So tonight, tomorrow night and Thursday
00:02:51.360 night we're going to be live out here tomorrow night carrie sakamoto vaccine injured is going

00:03:00.620 and on thursday night a very special guest we haven't had on the show in a couple of years now
00:03:05.220 if you can believe it tiana truth seeker tiana chechik is coming on thursday night she's got a
00:03:12.000 regular podcast now going on friday night she's going to come on and tell us all about that and
00:03:16.380 what's been going on in her life on thursday night all shows begin at eight o'clock central

00:03:45.000 shadow davis show welcome to the show jeff evely jeff thank you for coming on tonight my friend
00:03:51.560 thanks for having me again shadow it's great to be back haven't been back since uh may the 5th
00:03:56.900 your mayday event which was a huge success in ottawa and since then you've been trying to get
00:04:01.640 this parliamentary petition through to uh parliament through one of the conservative
00:04:06.740 mps or at least one and so far no luck you want to tell first of all before we begin we should
00:04:13.880 talk about what this conversion therapy is. There's a lot of people out there who hear
00:04:17.980 conversion therapy, Jeff, and they go, okay, that sounds like a good thing, but it's not at all.
00:04:27.060 No, not even one little bit. And that's by design. So yes, that's correct. When you say
00:04:33.360 conversion therapy, people think about electroshock therapy. And even people who are supposedly awake
00:04:40.600 on X will accuse me of wanting to electrocute gays and things like that when I say I'm against
00:04:47.400 the conversion therapy bill. What they did, okay, so what the bill actually does is it makes it
00:04:55.640 illegal to provide talk therapy from a qualified therapist to one of our systematically gender
00:05:02.740 confused children to alleviate their gender distress instead of referring them for a
00:05:09.360 biomedical gender transition leading to sterilization.
00:05:13.040 And it imposes five-year jail sentences
00:05:15.320 on any therapist who provides such talk therapy
00:05:18.880 to help a child feel comfortable in their natural body,
00:05:21.460 as well as parents, depending on the circumstances.
00:05:24.200 Like for example, if a parent,
00:05:26.600 because you're not gonna be able to find a therapist
00:05:28.540 who's willing to take that risk of five years in jail
00:05:30.980 to provide the counseling that your child needs.
00:05:32.640 And if you take your child to the United States
00:05:35.040 to receive such talk therapy,
00:05:37.520 then you will go to jail for five years.
00:05:39.840 So basically, the bill is designed to impose a five-year jail sentence
00:05:45.380 on any parent who stands between their child
00:05:47.800 and big pharmaceutical companies' bottom line,
00:05:50.580 because that's what these so-called transitions actually do,
00:05:55.000 is they just produced sterilized permanent medical patients.
00:05:59.200 So it's big bucks for big pharma.
00:06:01.860 And the way that they did this, it's quite insidious.
00:06:04.940 It's in the wording in the bill.
00:06:06.560 they incorporate some Marxist language that people just are not familiar with, like cisgender,
00:06:13.740 for example, cisgender and transgender. And the real trick that they play is in the definition
00:06:22.420 of conversion therapy. Now, there are six different criteria under the definition of
00:06:28.560 conversion therapy. And if you meet any one of those six criteria, then you are guilty of
00:06:34.220 conversion therapy, and you face that five-year jail sentence. Four of those six criteria
00:06:42.220 pertain to transgender identity. Only two of them pertain to being gay. So the focus was never on
00:06:50.220 protecting gays. It was always on transing, on transing the kids, basically. And what the bill
00:06:59.440 says, like in these six criteria, for example, it says that anyone who causes someone to go
00:07:06.180 from a trans identity to a cis identity is guilty of conversion therapy and liable for
00:07:12.840 imprisonment up to five years. But it does not say that anybody who causes somebody who is
00:07:17.880 cis identified to go to going to trans identified, facing the same consequences. So it is a one way
00:07:25.660 street um you may convince somebody to transition but you may not talk them out of it um and the
00:07:32.460 kinds of things that i will get from even so-called conservatives online is um you know the bill only
00:07:37.980 prohibits coercive and abusive practices no it doesn't neither the word coercion nor the word
00:07:44.300 abusive appears anywhere in the bill it says causes and that was the third iteration of that
00:07:50.300 bill. They actually took the language around coercion and abuse out from previous versions
00:07:57.200 of the bill. And what ended up going into force is the one where simply talking like a therapist,
00:08:04.140 talking to a child in a manner that helps them to feel comfortable in their natural body so that
00:08:08.420 they don't go down the path of medical transition leading to dramatically shortened lifetimes,
00:08:14.300 a need to stay on the hormones and the drugs for the rest of your life and you know sterilization
00:08:21.160 if you talk somebody out of that then then you're guilty of conversion therapy jeff can you give us
00:08:26.880 an example of what a conversation like that might sound like i mean is it is there a certain time
00:08:33.260 limit on this does it have to be very persuasive or or can it be hey you know what man there's no
00:08:38.180 such thing as trans i mean you're a boy be a boy like uh nobody has been convicted yet so i don't
00:08:46.320 think that we have any case law on this um but i i think i think the the real point here is that the
00:08:53.400 chilling effect um has been dramatic you know like you're not going to see people going to jail for
00:08:59.300 this because no therapist is going to provide that kind of talk therapy in canada um and it's
00:09:05.380 what, maybe a matter of time before somebody escapes to the United States to get such therapy.
00:09:11.480 But, you know, so many people are moving to the United States that they probably just won't come back.
00:09:15.980 There are plenty. What about parental discussions?
00:09:18.160 I mean, I heard you point out in your conversation with Nico Lagan, I think his last name is.
00:09:25.220 I'm not sure. I thought Logan was Logan.
00:09:27.700 um that and i found this to be rather chilling that parents cannot have these conversations
00:09:38.600 with their own children you've been through this yourself but not since this bill became law am i
00:09:43.480 correct yeah yeah round in a roundabout way yeah um i did take my daughter for talk therapy i took
00:09:52.120 her to see ken zucker who wrote the definition of gender dysphoria at uh the university of
00:09:57.260 toronto while this bill um was was being proposed basically um so i managed to do that before
00:10:05.040 um the bill came into force but at the same time like ken zucker doesn't do like ongoing care he
00:10:09.820 just kind of does a weekend session with us uh for a lot of money and uh and then we're left to our
00:10:17.040 own devices and so you know i saw him in toronto while we were living in ottawa and when i went
00:10:21.380 back to ottawa and tried to take her to see somebody there it was more of the same where
00:10:26.300 um, this therapist was telling me, well, she's, she's trans. And I'm like, okay, but you know,
00:10:31.180 we, we want to explore that. I would like to, you know, do some therapy to help her to feel
00:10:36.360 comfortable in her natural body. And she's like, oh no, no, I don't do that. It's, it's gender
00:10:39.940 dysphoria. That means I refer to the gender clinic. So they won't, they won't even attempt,
00:10:44.200 um, to help them to feel comfortable in their natural bodies. It's just kick them over to the
00:10:47.940 gender clinic. And I've been through that experience as well. Those people are absolute
00:10:52.480 maniacs. They gaslit me. They were abusive toward me. Everything that I was doing, it couldn't
00:11:01.000 possibly be coming from a place of love. It had to be coming from a place of hatred. Dr. Stephen
00:11:05.700 Fetter, who was the head of the clinic, and he's a psychiatrist, told me that he knew my daughter
00:11:10.640 was male because he looked into her heart and soul and determined that she was male. And when I asked
00:11:15.660 him how he knew that a soul existed, he said, I don't have to answer that question. Dr. Maria
00:11:20.960 keely was an absolute demon um you know and when i asked her for evidence um to support this course
00:11:29.120 of action she said we're not going to be able to give you that evidence like they were basically
00:11:32.680 doing it despite me like look look at what we can do to your daughter and there's nothing
00:11:35.700 that um that you can do to stop it you have audio of that is it still out there is it still available
00:11:40.880 on your ex and and your facebook yes it is there um the the couple of appointments that i attended
00:11:46.440 with dr maria keely who was the endocrinologist at chio is actually pinned on both my facebook
00:11:51.660 and my x profile okay excellent because we did play that on the show a couple of months back
00:11:55.940 and i found it to be completely alarming yeah um so this is law this is a law now in canada not
00:12:04.860 just a bill and people need to understand that if you get caught get caught like what are they
00:12:10.880 monitoring our kitchens and our living rooms now, but maybe. Then you could be going to jail
00:12:16.220 or prison for five years. You have tried to get a parliamentary petition through
00:12:22.580 through a conservative MP and you've tried four. Am I correct?
00:12:27.220 Yes. I've been through four MPs already. And just one point of clarification,
00:12:30.900 like the bill does say that it doesn't criminalize conversations between parents and children. So if
00:12:36.880 you're a parent and you're saying there's something really wrong with this, then maybe
00:12:40.120 you won't go to jail but maybe cps will come and take your child out of the home and say that
00:12:44.940 you know this is being abusive we saw this one father um already in bc who went to jail uh the
00:12:50.560 judge uh said that it was tantamount to domestic abuse that he refused to use his uh child's
00:12:56.160 pronoun um there's the supporting children and children youth and families act in uh in ontario
00:13:04.040 that basically puts parents there under similar pressures.
00:13:10.180 And it's not necessarily the case
00:13:12.240 that they'll take the child out of the home, I don't think,
00:13:14.880 if you take that risk of refusing to use the pronouns.
00:13:20.000 But, you know, who's going to want to risk it?
00:13:23.480 Well, we're dealing with children too here, right?
00:13:25.620 Like, I mean, we're talking 14, 15, 16 years old.
00:13:28.400 These kids are obviously at that age going to be, you know,
00:13:31.980 pushing back every way they can against mom and dad. And, uh, if they, if they know that they can
00:13:37.880 get away with calling CFS or calling the police to say that my father is being abusive. He doesn't,
00:13:43.620 he doesn't understand that I'm trans. The cops could actually come to your door and arrest you,
00:13:48.040 which I find alarming in this country. So getting back to the conservatives,
00:13:53.620 you've tried Leslie Lewis. Am I correct? Yeah. I sent it to Garnett Genuous first because I knew
00:13:58.860 him to be engaged with parents rights organizations already um and i i've interacted with some of
00:14:04.220 these people and they've been telling me like they're handling it it's all under control and
00:14:07.800 i've been saying no you don't understand they're pandering to you this is what they're doing like
00:14:11.620 they did this um and uh they're never going to take any action on us they're they're uh they're
00:14:16.900 saying all the right things but they're doing nothing um so i sent it to garnett genuis and
00:14:21.680 he declined it um which happened before the mayday event so i actually said at the podium that garnett
00:14:27.680 ingenuous, declined it. And I said, the reason that no conservative MP is ever going to sponsor
00:14:32.840 this bill is because Pierre Paliev himself voted for it. So they can't even call it out. The rank
00:14:39.700 and file can't call it out without losing their party status. Now, after that, I sent it to
00:14:45.200 Leslie Lewis, because she was sharing the National Post article where Dr. Ketchadorian, who is
00:14:51.480 one of the first clinicians to inflict a gender transition on a minor in Canada. She came out of
00:15:00.540 the National Post and said the whole practice needs to be reviewed. And Leslyn Lewis put it
00:15:05.120 out there and said, yeah, this is wrong and it shouldn't be happening. Okay, here's Leslyn Lewis.
00:15:08.400 Will you sponsor my petition? And she declined it without comment. This is all without comment.
00:15:13.140 um then it went to matt strauss he declined it without comment and then it went to larry brock
00:15:21.800 and he declined it without comment and in the case of larry brock um now i had like tagged all
00:15:27.460 these people on x previously with larry brock um i wrote him a letter and i got my my friend and
00:15:33.860 fellow activists in the space faith growlou who was one of our speakers at mayday she's a 26 year
00:15:39.000 old detransitioner who talks about how she was manipulated by her therapist and put on puberty
00:15:44.140 blockers when that never should have happened to anybody. And she wrote Larry Brock a letter as
00:15:50.480 well. And she's one of his constituents. And she took both of those letters and hand delivered
00:15:55.060 them to his office, gave them directly to his secretary. And she said that she would make sure
00:16:00.320 that he saw it and that we'd be hearing from him. We never heard anything. And he declined it.
00:16:04.800 So I just kicked it over to Roman Baber and I sent Roman Baber an email to make sure that he gets it because Matt Strauss has been making a really big deal about this idea that he gets a lot of petition requests and he doesn't bother to open the emails.
00:16:21.140 Now, yeah, I know.
00:16:23.400 Well, first he says he doesn't bother.
00:16:26.040 Then he says he didn't get it.
00:16:27.280 I think it's probably the case that it was the former and not the latter.
00:16:32.200 Okay.
00:16:33.040 Like, fine.
00:16:34.020 but ultimately you are the one
00:16:36.500 who is responsible for your emails.
00:16:38.960 I'm a citizen communicating with you
00:16:41.400 through official channels
00:16:42.800 set up by the government of Canada
00:16:44.240 on the House of Commons website.
00:16:46.200 If you know that there's some kind of a problem here
00:16:48.980 because he's complaining about the way
00:16:50.580 that they put subject lines in emails,
00:16:53.940 like, you know, he doesn't like the subject lines
00:16:57.360 or something like that.
00:16:58.140 So he treats them as spam
00:16:59.200 and he doesn't bother looking at them.
00:17:00.960 Like, these are suffering Canadians.
00:17:02.700 um reaching out and he's just ignoring the emails he's a doctor he's a doctor they're they're a
00:17:09.060 nuisance i guess we're we're a nuisance yeah and he's a doctor and he's got all kinds of expectations
00:17:13.040 for us um whereas you know he doesn't seem to include into the fact that he works for us
00:17:18.000 um and not the other way around so um no no hang on before before we get into this thing with matt
00:17:23.800 because it's it's a doozy and i and that's what basically what this is about here tonight
00:17:28.280 uh conservatives actually in favor of censorship and again you know we can't say for sure that he
00:17:37.420 matt strouse recommended that you be pulled from the x platform temporarily permanently or whatever
00:17:43.420 but we can follow the leads uh leslin lewis did she respond to you or no no i haven't heard of
00:17:49.880 and larry brock we can maybe forgive larry because he's in the middle of retiring um for now and he's
00:17:56.100 got a million things on his plate again i'm not interested in forgiving anybody but in this case
00:18:01.800 i'll give him a pass he's probably got a million things he's going to be leaving the house of
00:18:06.300 commons when next month so you know he wouldn't be able to follow it up anyhow garnet genus or
00:18:12.400 genius um this is a surprising one to me because as you say he was heavily involved or still is
00:18:20.480 heavily involved in parental rights and parental consent and all of that stuff he's got a young
00:18:24.400 family himself i would think that he'd be a little bit more uh tenacious with this one especially
00:18:30.860 you know coming from somebody like yourself who's been through so much
00:18:34.340 um well uh you would be wrong and uh you know it's it's just as i said like um i'll i'll be frank
00:18:44.220 and and uh show my hand um basically i'm engaged in this exercise because i take so much heat
00:18:50.360 for calling out the conservatives and everybody's saying oh yeah they're against it they're
00:18:54.340 against it. And I'm like, oh yeah, watch this. If they're against it, then somebody will sponsor
00:18:59.160 this petition. And mark my words, you are not going to find a conservative MP that's going to
00:19:05.620 sponsor that petition. And it's entirely because the vote on Bill C4 was unanimous. Now, Pierre
00:19:12.480 Polyev actually voted for the conversion therapy bill three times, C8, C6, and C4. The last two
00:19:19.840 votes came after i had a half hour conversation with him as his constituent while i was living
00:19:25.540 in ottawa where i told him all about how the children's hospital of eastern ontario basically
00:19:29.520 stopped and grew my daughter for biomedical transition while i was deployed to iraq i told
00:19:34.600 him they're utterly abusive maniacs and i told him i recorded five of the appointments that we
00:19:39.400 had attended i offered to let him listen to the recordings himself so he didn't have to take my
00:19:45.020 word for it. I basically pleaded with him to vote no on Bill C-4. I offered to write a letter for
00:19:50.720 him to write, to read on the House of Commons. He said no to all of it. And he went on and he voted
00:19:55.380 to jail parents for five years if they stand between their kids and Big Pharma's bottom line
00:20:00.000 two more times. And Aaron O'Toole was the leader at the time who whipped the vote. Michelle Rempel
00:20:08.380 did a dance of joy on the floor of the House of Commons when it passed. So all of the party
00:20:14.240 hegemony voted for this stuff. And there, there is no chance that any other rank and file are
00:20:21.040 going to call it out because they'll lose their party status, just like they did to Derek Sloan
00:20:26.200 before this vote. And he was not an MP after the next election. So, uh, that's the situation that
00:20:32.860 we're in, in, uh, we have, we have the only conservative party in the world who still
00:20:38.580 supports this stuff okay so let's uh talk about your interactions with dr matt strauss who is the
00:20:45.020 mp for kitchener south uh this is the appeal that you put up um because of uh i guess this is the
00:20:51.400 post that got you temporarily banned you're back on now right my account was locked and i meant i
00:20:57.620 got up in the morning it was locked but by the night um i had uh i had the matter resolved okay
00:21:03.260 So you say, our children's blood is on your hands, Matt Strauss, pandering Pierre Polyev's mendacious minion, meltdown Matt Strauss maliciously, alliteration, I love it, maliciously maligns the magnanimous Gen Xer male in a manner that preserves and facilitates the barbaric Canadian cultural practice of sexually butchering, I would imagine the next line is children or kids.
00:21:27.680 And so this is where you guys got into it.
00:21:30.740 What were his responses to all of this?
00:21:33.260 So this started right after he declined the petition. Now, mind you, after that, it went to Larry Brock. So this was in July. I think it was the 2nd of July. I got the notification that Matt Strauss declined the petition. And then, you know, I did a post online on the 3rd, calling it out. And I tagged Matt Strauss.
00:21:55.540 And then he came in and he commented on that post, where I even put the screenshot in, and you can see for yourself, all of these MPs have declined to authorize this petition for public signature.
00:22:08.500 All we're trying to do here, by the way, is measure the public sentiment on this issue.
00:22:12.920 Like, this would provide the Conservatives with ammunition to bring an end to this practice.
00:22:18.900 You know, they could go to the Liberals and say, look, the public is screaming about this right now.
00:22:23.800 But that's, you know, I'll set that aside for a second.
00:22:27.400 What happened was I posted that, you know, Matt Strauss had declined it.
00:22:31.900 And then he came and he commented on it and he said, hey, man, I get spammed with petition requests all day long.
00:22:37.280 I don't open those emails generally.
00:22:39.100 I do not support medical transition for minors.
00:22:42.000 Blood on our children's hands because I didn't open an email is a gross thing to say.
00:22:46.720 Thanks for your work on the woods, Ben.
00:22:48.420 And, you know, then I went back to him and I said, thanks for the reply, Matt.
00:22:51.720 This is the first acknowledgment from a CPC MP I've seen on this issue, as well as the Woods Band.
00:22:57.980 Does this mean you'll be sponsoring the petition for public signature then?
00:23:01.200 I tend to think that what's really gross is how our children have been sold out to the big pharma butchers for CPC political gain.
00:23:08.760 Gen Z is coming of age.
00:23:10.300 Soon they will look to the adults in their lives who should have protected them but did nothing and ask why.
00:23:15.160 Do you really want your answer to be, I couldn't be bothered to read my emails?
00:23:18.340 and he said, you started this conversation by baselessly and disgustingly accusing me of child
00:23:23.580 murder. After I explained how that was baseless and disgusting, you posted it again on your
00:23:29.340 Facebook. So no, I'm not inclined to work with you on a political project because that's all
00:23:33.400 the lives of our children are to Matt Strauss. It's a political project. And he says, good luck
00:23:37.100 out there. And I said, actually, I started this conversation by politely and privately contacting
00:23:41.700 my MP, Pierre Polyev, in 2019 in an effort to stem in this crisis before it ever really started.
00:23:48.600 Of course, he blew me off and voted for the conversion therapy bill two more times.
00:23:52.180 I'll be having these conversations out in the open from now on. Thank you very much.
00:23:56.300 Also, I accuse you of being complicit in this widespread state-sponsored child murder through
00:24:00.920 your willful blindness, not of being a child murder per se. But thanks for confirming that
00:24:05.960 you are less concerned with the lives of our children than you are with your public image,
00:24:09.000 standard. You know, you know, you could just confirmed, you know, and you are content to
00:24:13.480 let our children languish in order to punish me for bruising your ego. Petty doesn't even begin
00:24:18.400 to describe it. May history reflect on your precious image accordingly. So that was our
00:24:22.820 initial interaction. It did not go well. And what he's doing here is he's saying that I baselessly
00:24:30.500 and disgustingly accused him of child murder. I didn't say that. I never said Matt Strauss
00:24:37.040 murders children nothing like that what i said is that all of these people um that was the initial
00:24:42.900 post that i probably should have read to you but um the initial post i listed the mps and i said
00:24:48.880 all of these people now have our children's blood on their hands like this is confirmation they are
00:24:53.280 complicit in this uh abuse and um you know he is saying he starts saying that i baselessly and
00:25:01.120 disgustingly accused him of child murder and i'm like no no you use the old axiom you've got blood
00:25:06.400 on your hands. And that goes back centuries, right? Like that, that's one of the things where
00:25:10.520 if you are, you know, whether you're complicit or not, you know, this is going on, and you refuse
00:25:16.300 to stand up, right, that puts blood on your hands. Absolutely, it does. You're correct to use that.
00:25:22.140 Right. It's a standard English idiom that implies culpability for harm, because you are in a
00:25:28.880 position to do something to prevent it, and you do nothing. So, you know, and I think it goes back
00:25:35.000 to the bible ultimately but it's been around for thousands of years um and it's been in uh common
00:25:40.160 language for at least the last couple of hundred i mean i looked into all of this so for him to
00:25:44.440 take it to that extreme to me sounds like a liberal response almost it's uh cry bullying
00:25:50.840 first of all like he's feigning victimhood and engage he's like pearl clutch victorian couch
00:25:57.420 faint uh gaslight and then he darvos me he darvos me he deny uh deny attack reverse victim
00:26:04.860 offender. Now, you know, there's something wrong with me and he's the real victim. Like, it's my
00:26:10.800 daughter who's being butchered. I'm doing everything I can to bring an end to this practice, not being
00:26:16.120 in a position to do it myself. And, you know, and he's just saying that I'm some kind of a crazy
00:26:21.940 person for for using a standard English idiom. He's pretending he's unfamiliar with it. And that
00:26:29.940 seems to be the narrative now, because you know what gets me about this is that he in a previous
00:26:34.240 email to this before all of this hit storm got started he thanked you for your work on the
00:26:39.300 woods band like so he does acknowledge that you you've done some real good in this country right
00:26:47.600 but then to turn into this cry bully as you say this this neo-marxist ideology comes out in him
00:26:55.000 and that to me is alarming i mean i've seen all four of the mps that you've mentioned genus
00:26:59.980 uh larry brock leslin lewis matt strauss i've seen them all stand up in the house of commons
00:27:06.180 fervently bashing against the liberals in their ridiculous open borders ideology or their climate
00:27:12.660 change ideology or the crime ideology whatever it is but we also saw maryland gladu do that didn't
00:27:19.500 we yeah we did and she voted against bill c4 against the first two iterations of the bill c8
00:27:26.900 and C6 and actually got asked about it when she crossed with the liberals and said, oh, it wasn't
00:27:32.620 a good bill before, but it's a good bill now. It's the worst version of the bill because they stripped
00:27:37.360 out all the language around coercion and abuse and put in causes. If you cause somebody to go
00:27:43.680 from being trans-identified to cis-identified, like if you can talk them out of it, then that's
00:27:47.960 conversion therapy. Um, so, uh, um, yeah, and, and utterly woke response flying right off the
00:27:57.080 handle on the part of Matt Strauss. And what happens next? Um, well, it gets pretty interesting
00:28:03.900 because, um, Larry Brock declined it, like I said. Um, and maybe, you know, I was thinking
00:28:11.140 that, well, if he just resigned from cabinet, maybe he's got an ax to grind with CPC HQ. So,
00:28:15.480 why not you know throw a grenade on his way out the door but it didn't work out like that he
00:28:20.000 ultimately declined it um and uh i i posted about that and i did a video like i do walk and talks
00:28:26.540 when i'm out walking my dog and stuff so i did a little rant three minutes long so it fits on
00:28:30.780 instagram and um you know i just broke it all down in uh in three minutes and what happened was
00:28:38.140 juno news picked up the story and i never spoke to them or anything like that they just saw my
00:28:44.000 video and they wrote an article about it, Alex Dollywell. And when it came out, the story,
00:28:50.960 the headline was, fourth Tory MP rejects Bill C-4 repeal petition activist claims. Jeff Avely says
00:28:58.680 four conservative MPs refused to sponsor his petition despite Pierre Polyev vowing to oppose
00:29:03.080 irreversible medical transitions for minors. And when they posted it on X, the comment on the link
00:29:10.940 was a supposed rift as emerged between Conservative leader Pierre Polyev's rhetoric on youth gender
00:29:16.040 transitions and his party's actions with four Conservative MPs accused of refusing to sponsor
00:29:22.140 a petition to repeal Bill C-4. I was thrilled. I was like, thank you so much for writing this
00:29:28.520 article. Nobody reached out to me for comment or anything, but I'm thrilled to see that this is
00:29:32.960 finally getting the attention that it deserves. And then what happened was Matt reached out to
00:29:38.720 alex deliwal the author on um on um substack in the comments and he said that he dm'd him his
00:29:46.840 number and they got together and did a little interview and then the next thing you know the uh
00:29:52.660 the new article comes out and now it says that uh it says exclusive conservative mp never supported
00:30:01.060 bill c4 and uh he says mp matt strauss says he never saw the petition request and calls activist
00:30:07.960 Jeff Evely's accusations, quote, insane and abusive, close quote. So it went from being an
00:30:14.700 article about the supposed rift between the rhetoric and action on this from the conservatives,
00:30:21.400 the inaction on this, to one about how I'm insane for calling it out, because MP Matt Strauss is a
00:30:29.080 super great guy who doesn't check his emails. Okay, wait a minute here, hold on, hold on.
00:30:34.020 so they changed the article alex dollar wall actually amended the article after a conversation
00:30:41.400 with matt strauss the mp yeah and you know like if you want to include his comments and put the
00:30:46.740 editor's note on there like i get that but it's not it's not just that like the whole framing of
00:30:51.720 the issue completely shifted away from the issue of childhood transition um onto the man matt
00:30:59.520 Strauss and how awesome he is and what a nut job I am. You see that, I wonder, I don't know how
00:31:08.120 experienced a guy like Alex Dollywall might be. I've only just recently in the last couple of
00:31:12.580 years heard his name. So maybe he didn't understand that he had completely changed the theme of the
00:31:18.420 story after the conversation with Matt Strauss. And also maybe he was a little bit intimidated by
00:31:24.680 by Strauss, man. He is a sitting MP after all. So you have this conversation. Maybe it was a
00:31:29.440 stern conversation. I don't know. I mean, I've been in that position where I've had to, you know,
00:31:34.940 stare down big money clients or politicians or whatever, because they didn't like what I said
00:31:40.320 on the radio, but I never did amend it unless I was threatened with my job, which happened a couple
00:31:46.280 of times. But ultimately, you know, if it's just a realistic, hey man, matter of fact, kind of
00:31:53.800 conversation. You're not going to frame a story or reframe a story like that, where in the
00:32:00.220 beginning you weren't anything but a concerned citizen, and now you're a crazy man who's abusive
00:32:05.260 suddenly. Or using a standard English idiom. There's blood on your hands.
00:32:11.900 But the other thing about, excuse me, the other thing about Juno News viewers is they know you
00:32:17.780 by now. They know exactly who you are. They know exactly what you've done. So totally
00:32:23.140 disingenuous for Juno News to try and paint you that way, or to allow anybody else to do that,
00:32:28.860 I think. And Alex has not responded to my messages. I saw Strauss saying in the Substack
00:32:35.940 comments that he DM'd him his phone number, so I did the same thing. I sent him a message right
00:32:41.260 away, and I was like, well, if Matt gets to comment, then so should I. Now, what he did is
00:32:45.820 he did message my Facebook page, but I mean, I was vacationing with family and stuff like this.
00:32:50.560 I wasn't going through every platform every day, so I didn't see it for a couple of days on my
00:32:54.340 Facebook page. And when I did, I messaged him right back. And I've sent him a couple of messages
00:32:59.140 since then. I did a video about what happened here, and I sent him that. And I was like,
00:33:03.960 this is my position. This is what I'm seeing is happening right now. And I detailed everything
00:33:08.580 with the comment screenshots and stuff like that from start to finish. It's about 13 minutes long.
00:33:13.660 But yeah, anyway, he just hasn't replied. And I think I agree with you. I think the most likely scenario here is that, you know, maybe he's a little intimidated or even a little bit starstruck. And, you know, it's it's changed from a story about the issue of childhood transition to Alex getting an exclusive with a sitting MP.
00:33:38.500 i think maybe he was just excited that he got the exclusive um and uh and so now you know the whole
00:33:44.640 frame has shifted i believe the structure the the power structure the corporate structure with juno
00:33:49.760 news would be take it up the chain go to kian bexty or go to candace malcolm and say look at you know
00:33:55.180 what i mean i appreciate everything you i mean you're up no to be diplomatic i don't have to
00:33:59.660 tell you that but you know make they may not even be aware of what this kid did yeah but what i do
00:34:06.520 know is that there's millions of viewers that go to that website or that substack every single day
00:34:11.540 and for them to see that is going to cause some kind of a rift. We have two kinds of conservatives
00:34:16.720 in this country, Jeff. I think we have elite conservatives and we have, you know, run-of-the-mill
00:34:25.740 stock conservatives, people like you and I, and most likely the people who are watching this show.
00:34:31.160 The elite conservatives are members of the Conservative Party of Canada. They are the bureaucrats in certain provinces. They are probably big oil executives or corporate executives of some kind or another. They've got the money. They just have conservative beliefs, possibly only fiscally, but maybe not socially.
00:34:55.360 And I think this is probably, you know, the hurdle that we have to get across because the right cannot divide in this country.
00:35:03.280 Both sides need to make concessions.
00:35:05.360 What's your take on that?
00:35:06.520 Am I completely off base here?
00:35:08.360 No, I don't think so at all.
00:35:10.700 My take is quite similar.
00:35:12.240 I tend to think that, you know, what we really have is something like progressive conservatives.
00:35:18.440 That was the name of the conservative party in the 90s.
00:35:21.780 They were the progressive conservatives.
00:35:23.140 and it took preston manning and the reform movement uh kicking in the doors in ottawa
00:35:29.440 eventually becoming the canadian alliance and then folding into the conservative party like
00:35:34.300 we're going to be big 10 conservatives now but i think what happened is after harper left they
00:35:38.660 reverted to their progressive roots and they've been going after the progressive vote ever since
00:35:43.820 i mean they voted to jail parents for protecting their kids what could be more what could be more
00:35:48.720 progressive than that they're going after the progressive votes um with you know i mean it was
00:35:53.560 blandrew sheer was supposed to be the justin bludo of the of the cpc and then you have blandrew sheer
00:36:00.000 without the dimples erin o'toole who makes fun of me on twitter um nana i got away with voting to
00:36:06.740 put you in jail and you couldn't protect your daughter kind of stuff um you know well what he
00:36:11.980 says is it's like well here's my statement this is what i said on the floor of the house of
00:36:15.040 comments and i'm like this this is meaningless you said a thing and you did another like that's
00:36:20.320 that's kind of the way that they roll it's pandering it's absolutely pandering absolutely
00:36:25.140 um you know and one one more thing getting back to this issue for just one moment i mean
00:36:30.300 you know i think it would have been fairly easy for the conservative party of canada to frame
00:36:35.260 this conversion therapy law some other way other than allowing the liberals to completely and
00:36:41.800 totally frame it for them right and maybe they didn't think it was worth it or not maybe they
00:36:46.280 didn't think the suffering of children and the suffering of families all across the country was
00:36:49.980 worth it but ultimately they capitulated and that to me in itself is alarming considering people
00:36:57.260 like billboard chris now i don't know that there's anybody in this country who would know more
00:37:01.840 about the public sentiment regarding this particular issue the guy stands on street
00:37:06.380 corners not just in canada but all across the world he said on this show a couple of years ago
00:37:11.660 Jeff and everybody else he said I have no idea why the conservatives won't use this issue as a
00:37:18.220 as a political one as an election issue because you have a 99 percent chance of winning it yeah
00:37:26.840 99 that's that's the kind of response he gets once people understand exactly what he's doing there
00:37:33.340 and he explains it to them and he's got his elevator speech down pat in 30 to 60 seconds
00:37:38.200 so it's easy for him to explain it and he explains it to them and they go oh really that's really
00:37:43.800 going on yeah and here's the literature behind it well of course we can't have that right so if a
00:37:49.340 guy like billboard chris can frame something like that in 60 seconds the conservative party with all
00:37:55.820 of their marketing and consultants can't figure out a way to somehow get past liberal marketing
00:38:00.800 on this amazing thing they they are liberals they're they're liberals in blue suits and i'm
00:38:06.840 not even saying all of them but i think that's the prevailing theme here is they're basically
00:38:12.380 liberals who just want a tax break um you know and and they're poll watchers they're not leaders
00:38:18.900 and the polls the public sentiment has uh shifted like people are are looking at um well they're
00:38:26.520 looking at just how our children are being exploited whether it's being dragged into
00:38:30.560 drag queen story hour or whether it's you know promoting sex changes in schools or pornography
00:38:35.860 in schools or being forced to watch a fat man take out his junk at some pride parade in toronto
00:38:41.560 vancouver montreal winnipeg edmonton i mean like i've seen videos of two-year-olds watching this
00:38:48.040 nonsense and and the parent the toxic parents sitting there going yeah like really wow yeah
00:38:54.280 yeah you know it boggles the mind um but i i agree i'm i'm like what are you talking about
00:39:03.020 conservatives this is a wedge issue you could be using this right now to wedge the liberals um and
00:39:11.540 and show them for what they really are the you know but uh but they're all in it together because
00:39:16.800 they voted unanimously on bill c4 so like i said i don't think well um i say that canada will not
00:39:23.800 be a safe place to raise children again so long as Pierre Polyev is leader of the CPC because
00:39:28.660 nobody's going to call this out no conservative is going to call it out because he voted for it
00:39:32.640 okay three times you're right you're right I absolutely understand that now he voted
00:39:37.220 was he the leader when he voted for it the final time or was no it was O'Toole still right
00:39:42.080 it was O'Toole the final time yeah so he was just listening to the party whip at that stage of the
00:39:46.760 game and as you say though I mean they're poll followers poll watchers like pretty much lemmings
00:39:51.440 cowards who will just do the bidding of their leader well yes and no um because the first two
00:39:58.820 votes were free votes and he still voted in favor of it on the first two votes and one of those free
00:40:07.040 votes came after the half hour conversation he had with me where i was talking about this nightmare
00:40:12.880 experience that i just had with the children's hospital of eastern ontario um and and explaining
00:40:17.660 you know what what they're really doing i told them all about puberty blockers cross-sex hormones
00:40:21.320 for adolescents double mastectomies for 14 year olds let me ask you this like when you were like
00:40:25.560 were you looking him right in the eye telling him this stuff it was on the phone okay it would be
00:40:30.800 interesting to see because like reading a facial expression and body language is a whole other
00:40:35.000 thing right did you see the video i put up when i ran into him on the 7th of may i was still in
00:40:40.320 ottawa after the no i didn't i didn't i bought it i bought a ticket for the uh true north strong
00:40:46.460 and free conferences yeah i think so and uh because he was going to be there and then um i
00:40:52.380 wore a hidden camera and went up to him when he was on stage and i was like hey pierre do you
00:40:56.840 remember me how could i forget he says because i've cornered him a few times he knows exactly
00:41:02.140 who i am um and uh i was like you remember me and he you know the last time i tried this
00:41:08.240 his uh muscle freaking uh grabbed my camera and turned it all off and stuff like this so i did
00:41:13.720 not get him on camera the first time i got him on on the spot uh this time i wore a hidden camera
00:41:18.480 and uh i went up was it in your beard it should have been in your beard that would have been
00:41:23.200 awesome i don't know i want to play those cards at least a little bit i got to keep a couple of
00:41:27.600 cards close to my chest here so the camera the camera should have been in your beard that would
00:41:32.360 have been classic oh yeah i'll look for a beard camera for the next one let me see um but uh
00:41:38.100 but i said uh he was he was like yeah how could i forget and i was like so uh um yeah i said so
00:41:46.900 uh what i can't remember what i said next but i brought up bill c4 you know and he was like oh
00:41:52.240 we believe in freedom and i was like uh yeah i mean you never said that before the convoy what
00:41:57.220 about the freedom for parents to raise their children without having them sexually butchered
00:42:01.060 by big pharmaceutical companies you're like we're gonna fight for freedom for uh parents and i said
00:42:07.220 are you going to repeal bill c4 and uh he was like well we're all about freedom okay let's do
00:42:12.360 a picture and get you out of here and that was it like you can you can i put that video out there
00:42:17.800 all the time when these people are giving me the gears and telling me that pierre polyev is our
00:42:21.240 savior and that he's uh you know a real jacked guy who's uh super into lifting weights and stuff like
00:42:27.080 that um you know it's just ridiculous you people worship an image makeover like pierre polyev
00:42:34.240 is an attack dog he's a nerd he's been that way his whole life and i know him and i liked him as
00:42:40.920 my mp as the guy who stands up in the floor of the house of commons raises a sheet of paper in front
00:42:46.660 of his face adjusts the designer frames draws in a breath and then unleashes the dogs of war on
00:42:55.640 his opponents and he was good at that but that he's not a leader um and so they've given him
00:43:01.980 this image makeover now took off his glasses put on a t-shirt that makes him look like he has
00:43:06.520 muscles because uh all of a sudden canadians are fed up with uh you know these beta males
00:43:12.180 tyrannizing us so they're trying to make him out to be some kind of an alpha chad i've seen those
00:43:16.120 i've seen those t-shirts online thinking about maybe buying a couple yeah the muscle t-shirts
00:43:23.900 yeah and he's putting these workout videos out there and stuff like that he was at the boxing
00:43:28.620 gym like and people are like oh wow look pierre's a warrior and i'm going like i started boxing when
00:43:34.340 i was 13 anybody who's ever set foot in a ring can see that pierre never has like this is another
00:43:39.400 exercise video um and uh everybody's fawning over him uh the whole uh you know conservative
00:43:46.100 influencer bunch and stuff like this and i'm just like this is this is kind of sad like can you
00:43:52.600 people not see that this is propaganda you know that both sides do it right okay so what need
00:43:57.920 hmm you see i find that this divide is interesting because the left-wing corporate media the marxist
00:44:04.500 corporate media try to paint polyev and his bunch as this right-wing extremist drooling you know
00:44:11.480 and if that if that's what they are then what are we you know i mean because we're further right and
00:44:19.240 by the way i mean if you guys don't know what the overton window is you guys watching right now this
00:44:23.920 is basically the window of influence probably more political and social than anything in any
00:44:29.460 given country right where it shifts this way where it's cool to think about uh trans being being
00:44:36.140 normal and rational uh and then it swift switches back this way where you go wait a minute that's
00:44:42.380 just stupid right and the overton window in canada has shifted so far this way that the average
00:44:49.320 rational common sense thinker is now considered to be a far-right extremist which is alarming to
00:44:58.180 me i think even elon musk pointed that out in an interview with the economist a couple of weeks
00:45:02.280 ago and he called the the media person disingenuous for even trying to do that because
00:45:07.260 people know better than that we're not morons so having said that jeff i mean what can we do
00:45:13.700 to heal this rift because you know what one thing that people say to me about you and i i love the
00:45:20.660 stuff that you do people say to me how come he doesn't go after the liberals and i know what
00:45:25.400 your answer is it's like well they're not even going to touch it they wouldn't even bother with
00:45:29.000 it right they wouldn't even answer me never mind you know try and start a fight with me they wouldn't
00:45:33.920 they'd ignore it it's beneath them well they call me a transphobe is what they do well that's you're
00:45:39.500 not going to get anywhere with them right so the the only way to get anywhere in this country with
00:45:45.680 a pseudo conservative party would be the conservative party and apparently that's not
00:45:50.360 working either so what is the next step i mean ppc sure we could say ppc but i don't know i think
00:46:00.220 that ship has sailed man yeah me too i mean i resigned from the ppc back in april in case you
00:46:05.520 miss that um i i ran for them in the last election because they're the only party that's opposed to
00:46:10.940 this and they're explicitly saying that they'll repeal bill c4 and bill c16 love the platform um
00:46:16.700 but they have an awful lot of problematic people within the ranks um and uh quite frankly like i i
00:46:23.060 you know i'm concerned about the uh the way that it reflects on me um you know if i'm going to be
00:46:29.320 in this political space then reputation is important um so uh you know i can't be associated
00:46:34.580 with a lot of the stuff that they're putting out there their candidates and their supporters and
00:46:37.760 stuff like this what they're what they're putting out there um and which isn't unfortunate it's it's
00:46:42.200 a goddamn travesty uh because none of it has anything to do with the platform um i think you
00:46:46.380 know what i'm talking about it's the jews and all that stuff right that has anything to do with the
00:46:50.200 platform um and it's all a bunch of bunk i know that um but uh try and tell the ppc that and
00:46:57.140 you'll get witch hunted um as i did many many times and that's incredibly unfortunate so i think
00:47:02.520 like the next step i mean for me i'm going to continue with my um petition campaign here and
00:47:09.200 so the reason that i go after the conservatives on this issue it's this issue that i go after
00:47:15.060 the conservatives on i'm like be conservatives for crying out loud um i go after carney all the time
00:47:21.240 i mean i talk about how he's china's manchurian candidate all the time and i do videos where you
00:47:27.840 know i show the connections like the you know uh the guy who the who signed off on the bc elections
00:47:35.120 after it went to the conservatives and then whoops like two weeks later when they finished counting
00:47:39.740 it's like no it's actually for the ndp and the the bc elections committee commissioner who signed
00:47:45.100 off on that in probably the most uh chinese controlled province outside of pei perhaps
00:47:51.800 um in the country that commissioner um he is now or sorry that uh elections um commissioner is now
00:48:00.840 the foreign interference commissioner i'm like well that looks pretty shady so i mean i call the uh i
00:48:06.480 call the liberals out especially on foreign interference more than the conservatives but
00:48:10.940 but there's no point in calling out liberals for uh transing kids because they all love the stuff
00:48:17.140 it's off brand for the conservatives it's on brand for the liberals so if i go after the liberals
00:48:23.640 they're just going to call me a transphobe and throw me under the bus but if i go after the
00:48:27.100 conservatives um the the aim here is to kind of disabuse other people disabuse the conservative
00:48:34.420 movement of this notion that um that the conservatives are actually against this stuff
00:48:41.300 they voted in favor of it and they're just telling you whatever you want to hear and
00:48:45.200 you know we got to apply pressure to them to get any action on this it's the greatest prospect
00:48:50.200 um also um i've been doing some reading and i think we might have a charter challenge that that
00:48:55.420 could um go on this i'm gonna i'm gonna look into it some more like this week actually so
00:49:00.700 can you give us a little bit of insight as to what you're doing with that or is it you haven't
00:49:06.440 quite got there yet i haven't quite gotten there yet but i was reading john carpe in the western
00:49:11.860 standard there recently where he was basically saying that security the person is engaged and
00:49:18.500 freedom of conscience is engaged so it could be um potentially like uh open to a charter
00:49:25.540 challenge and whether i could be the applicant or not just given um what i've already been through
00:49:31.620 with this and my daughter um is is yet to be seen but i think that that's uh it's worth looking into
00:49:37.780 for sure when you've done enough and this is this is not this is not me suggesting to you jeff that
00:49:47.580 maybe you should just kind of settle down for a while let's not hit it all because i don't see
00:49:52.460 anybody else stepping up and doing the stuff that you've been doing i mean the fire ban for goodness
00:49:55.880 sakes you know everything that happened at the convoy everything since then and including all
00:49:59.860 of your work on before this conversion therapy bill all of this you've been engaged daily with
00:50:05.600 this i i understand that you take long walks with the dog and but you're still making videos even
00:50:11.040 how do we get more people engaged in this cause i mean they know that there's something the matter
00:50:19.880 i mean they're you know thousands of people are going to watch this show tonight and they're going
00:50:24.080 to go wish that there was something i could do there is like there's always something you can do
00:50:31.000 You just have to find a way in there.
00:50:33.740 And I have been, especially in the wake of my Defiance of the Woods ban,
00:50:40.040 I've been trying to encourage people.
00:50:41.880 I've been trying to say, see you as an individual all by yourself
00:50:47.180 can go out there and do something that has a massive impact.
00:50:50.680 We got a huge charter win out of that.
00:50:53.400 Good job me, if I do say so myself.
00:50:55.720 And thanks to the JCCF and the Canadian Constitution Foundation as well,
00:50:59.040 of course, because they did all the heavy lifting.
00:51:01.000 Um, I was just the one who took the risk. Um, but that seems appropriate $27,000 risk, man.
00:51:07.540 $28,872 and 50 cents. Sorry. I was, I was low a little bit.
00:51:13.400 My best price is right bit there. I wanted to keep it under the number.
00:51:17.280 Um, but, uh, but yeah, I mean, I said, well, I was doing the whole media blitz on that. It's like
00:51:22.220 you individual, whoever you are, who's sitting there waiting, you know, or saying like, I can't
00:51:29.300 do this. I can't do that. People have this idea, like they're stuck in this mode of thinking that
00:51:34.260 we need to have another convoy, that we all need to get together. It's got to be a huge crowd on a
00:51:39.840 particular day in a particular place. I don't even think our politicians care if we protest. I don't
00:51:44.840 think that they're listening anymore. You know, real pressure. I got them in court. I drug them
00:51:51.080 in court. You know, like that is that's a process that has teeth. You can go out there and wail on
00:51:57.920 the front lawn of the the parliament all day long they don't care like when we were doing mayday
00:52:04.120 there was another protest there that was a massive fallon gong movement i'm like oh my god there's so
00:52:11.660 many people here and you know it's just a regular day in ottawa so um yeah i i don't think that
00:52:18.060 that's very effective i think we got to find ways to get charter applications in there we got to
00:52:22.700 drag them into court, you know, noncompliance, civil disobedience, this kind of thing, and actually
00:52:30.700 hold their feet to the fire with processes that have teeth. And you can file human rights
00:52:36.460 complaints. You can do all kinds of stuff like that. And you don't have to be anywhere. You
00:52:39.980 don't need anybody helping you. You can do that yourself. That's very interesting. Getting back
00:52:44.000 to the rift and the conservatives. I mean, we've got all of these, you know, I don't want to call
00:52:48.880 them conservative youtubers but i'll call them conservative party youtubers uh people like uh
00:52:55.420 mario for the north and jasmine lane and northern perspective and again these folks do some good
00:53:02.780 work and this is what jeff and i were talking about off the air before the show started tonight
00:53:07.020 you guys i like a lot of the stuff they do but try and get them to talk about ukraine
00:53:12.320 no you can't try and get them to talk about this transing stuff nope no way you can't because it's
00:53:20.240 off-brand for the conservative party of canada and don't tell me that there's any way that that
00:53:26.540 nobody and let's be honest i mean mario's and nobody came out of the blue a year ago suddenly
00:53:31.680 he's got 500 000 or 750 000 followers across platforms that's not something that happens
00:53:39.000 overnight magically like that. Like, you know, the follower fairy doesn't visit your bedroom
00:53:44.840 if you put a tooth under your pillow at night and bring you 750,000 followers. It takes a lot
00:53:50.460 of work. It takes a lot of persistence to gain that kind of traction. So somebody, in my opinion,
00:53:55.460 is helping all of them to do that. There are some who are genuine. I believe that Moose on the Loose
00:54:01.840 is great and independent AF, but these other ones are, I believe, tied to the Conservative Party of
00:54:09.660 Canada and being funded. And Juno News, I think, is the same thing, my friend. And that's why when
00:54:15.340 Matt Strauss calls Alex Dollywall and says, oh, by the way, this article has got to be changed or
00:54:20.640 it's got to go, the capitulation is almost immediate. I don't know. And I noticed that
00:54:26.440 you're not making a comment here, but I would welcome it. What are your thoughts on that?
00:54:31.840 um yeah it's it's a bit of a mixed bag it doesn't look organic like what you're talking about when
00:54:37.880 it comes to the rise of these influencers it doesn't look organic to me um and it's a bit
00:54:42.520 of a mixed bag um now mario i have no time for that guy he's already like dragged me a couple
00:54:48.800 of times and uh you know he makes fun of me for calling out bill c4 you guys really think that
00:54:55.780 it does that yes it absolutely does that mario he doesn't seem you mean he hasn't read the bill
00:55:01.140 i mean this is a guy who who comes across sounding oh so very informed he if he doesn't
00:55:06.320 know the text of the bill then he should just shut up that's information mario
00:55:11.080 that's crazy he and i do not like each other um at all and he's uh he's done a couple of videos
00:55:19.640 just kind of um you know ridiculing me for doing things like calling out pierre polyev
00:55:24.700 um and uh you know he i'm not gonna get it like super butthurt about it no i understand that i
00:55:32.060 mean but you know ultimately you know these things do have to be aired out and then when i say that
00:55:36.840 i'm not talking about a fight between pat king and chris barber because that's personal more than
00:55:42.220 anything else and they're airing dirty laundry what i'm talking about here is the forward motion
00:55:47.480 of this movement like if we are going to have a conservative party or a conservative movement in
00:55:53.960 this country it needs to be aligned that it needs to reflect the feelings the sentiments of
00:55:59.600 canadians not the conservative party of canada like when jasmine lane sits up on stage at the
00:56:05.800 conservative convention in calgary back in january she's a moderator of panels i mean i i'm wondering
00:56:11.640 jasmine do you understand that now you look like a political operative and not a journalist yes
00:56:17.840 and and she also was at the um canadian what is it the true the true strong and free conference
00:56:25.740 the strong and free conference where i got paulia on camera yeah she was on stage for quite a while
00:56:30.240 um at that as well so um they're influencers they're not journalists i don't think she's
00:56:36.020 ever called herself a journalist so she has enough integrity to do that and i don't have
00:56:39.620 a beef with jasmine either my complaint is that she'll never mention bill c4 um neither will
00:56:45.700 britney neither will um you know uh i forget all their names and stuff because i don't really
00:56:52.120 follow them mario will never mention it um you know and he started attacking me um because i was
00:57:00.000 uh calling this out um so i have absolutely no sympathy for that guy i think he's just come back
00:57:04.600 um but i don't really i don't have a beef with like jasmine or any of no it's not about having
00:57:09.580 a beef i mean like i like i said you know i don't have a beef either man like i mean do what you're
00:57:14.520 to do but understand exactly how it's coming across to people and this is the sentiment man
00:57:20.760 like we we're sick and tired of hearing bs from the party that we're supposed to be supporting
00:57:26.200 right and and the catch-22 for canadians has been ever since max bernier decided he was going to
00:57:31.800 leave them and go form the ppc the thing is all right i you know i always aligned more with uh
00:57:37.640 the people's party of canada platform than i ever did with the conservatives but i knew that there
00:57:43.720 there was never going to be a chance of them winning, you know?
00:57:47.380 And I thought, well, maybe if they get two seats here and three seats there,
00:57:50.420 at least they get their foot in the door.
00:57:52.500 And so there was that by-election where Max ran in Manitoba a few years ago.
00:57:56.240 I thought he had a real chance.
00:57:57.340 He didn't do as well as the kid from that area in the first place,
00:58:01.560 in the election, the real election.
00:58:03.500 So where does that leave us, man?
00:58:06.040 Well, I think running as an independent,
00:58:09.420 that's something that I'm looking really hard into.
00:58:12.920 The issue with that, of course, is that you only get a campaign account,
00:58:17.060 so you can't even fundraise until the writ is dropped.
00:58:19.820 So I think what the sensible thing for somebody like me,
00:58:22.880 who basically just wants to run as an independent to do,
00:58:24.800 is actually found a political party so you can fundraise in advance of the writ
00:58:29.600 so that you have a war chest by the time the election comes around.
00:58:33.220 A lot of work goes into that, but I am picking away at it.
00:58:36.660 And I have time.
00:58:38.700 I'm dealing with the other hot topics, of course, juggling a lot.
00:58:41.240 but that's that's what i think um is the next step and the the mentality um that i'm i'm just
00:58:49.940 so sick of like even when i was running for people's party they're like voting for you is
00:58:55.100 a waste of time because you're never going to form government and i'm like guys they're all
00:58:59.800 in it together all we need is one independent voice to go in there and speak in a radically
00:59:06.600 candid manner just the naked truth and watch all those snowflakes melt like put my mouth on the
00:59:14.200 floor of the house of commons and just watch that happen i guarantee you i could do it um so i think
00:59:20.240 that we need to be thinking more about retaking our own house of commons supposed to be the house
00:59:25.220 of commons like they're all doctors and lawyers um you know so let's let's get somebody a little
00:59:30.720 bit more common in there and hey by the way like all the best years for canada were in the post
00:59:36.020 world war ii era when we had the highest population of veterans per capita at that time
00:59:41.960 did the comments is like over 30 lawyers let's get some veterans in there are there any well
00:59:47.940 yeah i mean sorry um there there are a couple uh barrett's a veteran is there barrett is yeah
00:59:52.740 yeah absolutely um so um you know we need only a handful right now you know jeff we we need you
00:59:59.460 to become the new rupert lowe and i'm not even sure if he's completely on the up and up but
01:00:04.080 if you guys don't know Rupert Lowe, he's the guy that started the party Restore Britain
01:00:08.420 over in the UK. He was a reform guy. He got kicked out. He got kicked out of the reform party,
01:00:13.940 believe it or not. And, uh, he formed his own thing, wants to get rid of all the illegal
01:00:18.520 immigrants over there. And, you know, it's funny when he speaks, he sounds rational and logical
01:00:25.340 and intelligent. And so do you, you know, that's, I think that's what we need. We need
01:00:32.000 that kind of common sense, calm tone to get out there to people, just so people understand they're
01:00:39.500 not alone. I mean, you're right, man. I mean, and I think I've said this already, the conservative
01:00:44.640 elitists do not identify with the people on the ground anymore. They can sit there and they can
01:00:50.040 talk about grocery prices and they can talk about immigration, but it's all so abstract when they
01:00:55.380 bring it up. They are not good at bringing it home, like Polly have used as a slogan last in
01:01:01.920 the last election let's bring it home dude i'm sorry but you you don't sound like you're actually
01:01:08.300 genuine and bring it at home it's all slogans and selfies it is all slogans and selfies and i think
01:01:15.440 you were just kind of touching on something that really uh puts a finer point on what i was saying
01:01:19.680 about the conservatives reverting to their progressive roots like they're back to being
01:01:23.780 progressives matt strauss is one of these guys who is an elitist and you can see it in his
01:01:29.220 interactions with me and the way that he talks about me. He has a contempt for me as a common
01:01:34.720 man. And I was at the free speech and medicine conference here in Bidec, Nova Scotia. And I
01:01:40.040 think it was 2022, might've been 2023. And he was one of the invited guests. He was a speaker
01:01:44.860 and he was up there espousing utilitarianism in, you know, public medicine. And I got up and I said
01:01:52.340 something i was like wait a minute like utilitarianism is a fundamentally left-wing
01:01:58.800 framework and and so i got up and i was like um you know like uh it's not hard to see why we got
01:02:06.760 the pandemic response that we did if they're teaching utilitarianism in in med school for
01:02:11.840 crying out loud this is like um greatest good for the greatest number of people and basically by any
01:02:15.760 means necessary like you you can commit an evil act and achieve um a good outcome in this kind of
01:02:21.360 thing on the right we tend to be um much more deontological like some lines you don't cross
01:02:27.480 like we have duties i think that human dignity comes first not greatest good for the greatest
01:02:32.320 number of people because one could justify cannibalism by that uh rationale all we have to
01:02:37.440 do is eat the old sick and lame and lazy and we'll all be much better off it'll be a much better
01:02:43.780 country and and all this stuff like we'll uh we'll have lots of food and protein and protein and we
01:02:49.360 We won't have to have all these support systems for these people.
01:02:53.080 No, human dignity above all else, that's what I say, compassion first.
01:02:58.360 We lose our humanity in the process when we go down the utilitarian path, as we saw during
01:03:03.440 the pandemic.
01:03:04.280 But that's the way that Matt Strauss thinks.
01:03:05.960 It's a fundamentally left-wing way of thinking.
01:03:08.700 And here he is engaging in these woke tactics to smear me.
01:03:14.660 as uh i'm glad you said that i sound uh logical and intelligent because that's a far cry from um
01:03:21.680 abusive and insane like uh like matt strauss described me that and you know like he's he's
01:03:29.500 the leader he's the big shot he's the one who's supposed to be better than all of this not
01:03:34.480 punching down on his citizens for criticizing him too harshly and yes i am pretty harsh with
01:03:40.520 these politicians um as well i should be i mean how are you supposed to get these guys attention
01:03:45.480 i've been trying everything since 2019 and it has been a gradually escalating approach like he says
01:03:51.920 that um i'm some kind of a maniac for for um you know uh talking to him the way that i did but it's
01:03:58.140 like look i tried being i tried doing this the nice way and the easy way with pierre palia back
01:04:03.220 in 2019 your party has been absolutely like abusive toward me um and uh and so i've had to
01:04:10.420 escalate um in in my uh my tactics and you know you're sorry but you're gonna get the brunt of
01:04:17.080 that now matt and you should be a big enough man to take it if you can't take the heat then get out
01:04:21.260 of the kitchen well you know in politics interesting that you say you got his attention
01:04:25.520 and that was probably a start you know and if he's any kind of reasonable common sense conservative
01:04:31.820 guy, he will definitely follow up and stay in touch with you if he is that kind of a guy.
01:04:38.280 However, I happen to think, and you know, it's funny. When was that speech? He was a great speech
01:04:43.440 he made. Maybe last fall, he was a brand new MP at that point. He made this fantastic speech in
01:04:47.860 the House of Commons. And I went, whoa, this is a new up and comer in the Conservative Party of
01:04:52.480 Canada. I mean, to hear what your engagement with him has been like really is very disappointing.
01:04:59.040 it's as disappointing as as maryland gladu's floor crossing to me but it's also eye-opening
01:05:04.520 in the fact that these people as you say maybe they're not really conservatives at all or they're
01:05:10.360 just elite conservatives conservatives in name only and that's where we need to try to bring
01:05:15.500 them back down and make them understand and i'm not sure if there's a way we can do that outside
01:05:19.980 of removing their privileges as parliamentarians you know um i uh yeah i think we got to hold their
01:05:27.720 feet to the fire i think that we should be uh harshly critical we need to demand better like
01:05:33.920 we will endure as much as we tolerate um we all need to demand better of our politicians
01:05:39.800 um and as you can see like the minute you do it matt strauss shows his true colors and goes out
01:05:46.440 there and defames me in this uh in this uh national news article so you know what's interesting um i
01:05:53.580 i know some politicians right former politicians mostly and they say you know i'll tell you
01:05:58.300 something writing a letter whatever like a petition whatever yeah they don't care about
01:06:05.260 that stuff it's when you go to their office when you go to their constituency office and they're
01:06:10.860 all home right now on the barbecue circuit right you go down to their constituency office and you
01:06:16.060 you're polite respectful obviously you're not trying to you know make any threats or anything
01:06:20.460 like that you go down there and you you demand some answers you want some answers and you bring
01:06:24.120 a posse with you 20 25 people who are all engaged in this particular issue that you want to discuss
01:06:29.660 that gets them incredibly nervous even randy hillier told me that you know when randy said
01:06:35.580 you wouldn't believe you know how people they shit their pants that's that's the that's what
01:06:42.340 he said to me and i went okay why don't we try that then you know petitions are fine because
01:06:47.660 they get public notice um and we can sit here and talk about it on shows like this one but i think
01:06:53.740 the real action is you say we got to go to them and hold their feet to the fire jeff great conversation
01:06:59.780 thank you for coming on again tonight man appreciate it yeah my pleasure shadow thanks
01:07:03.600 again for having me all right talk to you again soon there is jeff evely everybody jeff evely
01:07:08.780 tomorrow night on the show now we're going to be live by the way uh let's see well tonight we're
01:07:14.040 live on all the platforms. Tomorrow will be live on all the platforms. And Thursday will be live
01:07:19.400 on all the platforms again. Tomorrow night, Carrie Sakamoto, she has been vaccine injured. The last
01:07:25.740 time she was on the show, she's got a very, very, as a matter of fact, doctors have said the most
01:07:31.900 severe case of Bell's palsy that they've ever seen, where one side of her face droops and she
01:07:39.560 can't keep one eye open for very long. She has been incredibly brave throughout this entire
01:07:49.000 journey. The first time we had her on the show, she was having some memory issues as well. It got
01:07:54.040 to the point where we were having a conversation, maybe 20 minutes into it, when her husband had to
01:07:58.860 come on and tell us everything because she was just not capable at that point of doing it. She
01:08:03.920 is now she is going to be testifying at the allison inquiry in ottawa next month september 8th 9th 10th
01:08:10.460 11th and um she's going to be on the show tomorrow night live at eight o'clock central and then on
01:08:15.740 thursday night tiana tiana truth seeker it's been a couple of years since she's been on so i'm really
01:08:23.000 looking forward to to that show both these shows and they're both going to be available for free

01:09:01.240 for you. On Substack, you can follow me at Shadow Davis and you get the audio version of the show
01:09:06.320 nightly there as well. And you will get notifications. One more thing. If you're
01:09:11.440 not following me on any platform, please go ahead and do that. And the reason for that
01:09:16.320 is that I've been hearing a lot of mysterious unfollows have been happening lately on both
01:09:23.020 YouTube and on Facebook. So maybe that's why you're not getting the notifications that you
01:09:28.080 used to get when the show goes live simply because they unfollowed you from me without your
01:09:34.500 permission so go ahead and check to see if you're still following the shadow davis show on facebook
01:09:39.320 and all of the other platforms as well that goes for youtube that goes for rumble that goes for x
