00:29:29.580of bad ideas that will not do anything to get Canada out of the long-term growth rut,
00:29:35.720which our economy is mired in. There are too many to list all in one place.
00:29:40.400but here are four of the biggest problems with trudeau's tax plan number one it reduces the
00:29:48.100wrong taxes so when it comes to economic growth not all taxes are created equal some cause far
00:29:53.000more economic harm per dollar of government revenue raised than others the government's
00:29:58.460package creates a holiday on the gst for some items only for two months again only for two
00:30:03.180months which is a mistake given the gst is one of the least economically harmful components of
00:30:08.240the tax mix canada's recent growth record is abysmal and boosting growth should be a primary
00:30:14.800goal of any changes to tax policy a gst cut of any duration fails this test relative to other
00:30:22.180tax cuts temporary tax holiday shift consumption in time they don't boost growth one-time tax
00:30:29.880rebates don't improve economic incentives what else have we got here oh right 4.7 billion dollar
00:30:37.100price tag now again that is only for sending out those rebate checks in april right let's not
00:30:43.140forget how much money they're going to lose from the revenue they would have taken in if the gst

00:38:20.480So this is obviously unacceptable. And the question for Justin Trudeau is, why did he allow Randy Boissoneau to stay in cabinet for so long?
00:38:30.840The last thing I'll say is this. When Canada's first Indigenous Attorney General and Minister of Justice stood up to Justin Trudeau,
00:38:39.060when he attempted to interfere in the criminal prosecution of SNC-Lavalin, he kicked her out of the Liberal caucus.
00:38:45.780And of course, she was fired from cabinet. Now, those concerns of Miss Wilson-Raybould were proven to be true when Justin Trudeau was found guilty of breaking the Conflict of Interest Act for just that very thing.
00:38:57.160And you juxtapose that against what happened with Randy Boissoneau, a white guy pretending to be Indigenous, stealing from Indigenous-owned companies by trying to take contracts away from them, and Justin Trudeau could barely get around to agreeing on a statement with Mr. Boissoneau for him to leave Cabinet.
00:39:17.440It speaks volumes. And this is all happening. Well, Justin Trudeau's government has seen a record of food price inflation, the doubling of home costs.
00:39:27.660And he puts in charge of one of his ministries, a guy who couldn't even manage a six person company.
