00:08:00.000 hello everybody welcome to shadow at night this is thursday november the 21st 2024 on the show
00:08:18.820 tonight captain dumbass strikes again justin trudeau today announced that they will be
00:08:25.520 repealing the gst and hst as per province starting on december the 14th and continuing for two 0.97
00:08:34.120 months not only that they're going to issue 18 million canadians a 250 dollar check because
00:08:40.340 we're having such a hard time making ends meet right now yeah so we're going to get into that
00:08:50.120 all of it in just a second you may have been expecting randy hillier on the show tonight and
00:08:56.600 i was too up until about three hours ago i called randy and i said y'all ready for the show tonight
00:09:01.340 he goes absolutely seven o'clock eastern right and i went no no no no no no it's nine o'clock
00:09:06.200 eastern oh well that's a horse of a day you know randy's like red green right well that's a horse
00:09:12.800 of a different color so we had to reschedule i think maybe 10 o'clock eastern's a bit late
00:09:19.600 for randy he's a farmer after all he does have he does have animals to tend to early in the morning
00:09:25.940 so we rescheduled for next thursday night next thursday night at eight o'clock central a
00:09:32.900 conversation with randy hillier we're going to discuss 15 minute cities we're going to discuss
00:09:37.840 a lot of things including the charges that he had dropped a couple of weeks ago convoy related
00:09:43.800 i said what were the charges again he said well there was one about resisting arrest
00:09:49.500 and i said how did that come about he said well i moved a a barrier railing two feet and i guess
00:09:58.600 maybe i hit an officer a police officer and they didn't like that too much so they charged me with
00:10:06.280 whatever they could think of anyway randy hillier joins the show next thursday night next thursday
00:10:12.400 night um before we get into what is coming up on the show the next few nights obviously shadow at
00:10:19.920 night live is brought to you by canada nanosilver.com canada nanosilver.com with the toothpaste
00:10:26.080 first we're starting out with crest it's a classic it's an original it's what i've used most of my
00:10:30.800 life but that being said it does have its problems first off the consistency is so weird and thick
00:10:35.520 and i get it's a paste but it really doesn't spread that well and i must also say that i'm
00:10:39.360 not in love with the taste i get toothpaste isn't supposed to taste good but why shouldn't it but
00:10:43.560 that being said it does get the job done next we have silver suiticles they have three flavors but
00:10:47.240 today we're going with bubble berry and already it smells so good so i'm excited to see what this
00:10:51.160 tastes like the consistency is also a lot smoother and i must say it spreads way nicer in your mouth
00:10:55.780 this literally tastes like fruit bubble gum yeah this toothpaste was pretty good i actually went
00:11:01.540 in for seconds and it's infused with nano silver so it helps remineralize your teeth and keep them
00:11:06.360 fresh throughout the day 100 go with silver circles and here's the results what's your
00:11:10.640 favorite toothpaste do you remember canada nanosilver.com do you remember when i said
00:11:15.340 kids might go back for seconds and thirds with the bubble berry toothpaste well what did that
00:11:19.400 kid say right there he said it right to our faces for more information to order online it's
00:11:27.620 canada nanosilver.com again that is canada nanosilver.com for a retail location near you
00:11:32.880 of which there are 30 spread across the country you can check out the retail locations tab on
00:11:38.500 the website and if you would like to become a retailer of these awesome products get a hold of
00:11:43.220 kevin and anna through the contact tab at canadananosilver.com again that is canadananosilver.com
00:11:49.620 who's here tonight watching all right randy rawlinson randy you're in fort st john british
00:11:55.100 columbia well well well i have somebody coming on the show next tuesday night her name is michelle
00:12:02.740 and she is from that very town we just mentioned, Fort St. John, British Columbia, Michelle Wharton.
00:12:09.720 Michelle has been vaccine injured. It has been diagnosed by doctors, but in the United States,
00:12:17.420 not in Canada. So she cannot get treated for her symptoms in Canada because the doctors here
00:12:26.980 refuse to acknowledge that she has been vaccine injured. I would imagine being in British Columbia,
00:12:32.280 it makes it even tougher because of the new regulations and laws that came out there regarding doctors being pretty much held to account for anything they diagnose or anything they prescribe these days by the province themselves, not by the doctor's board, but by the province themselves.
00:12:53.020 And if the province doesn't agree, even if the people on that board, that provincial medical
00:12:57.900 board are not doctors themselves, they can be thrown in jail. So Michelle needs to seek treatment
00:13:07.340 elsewhere for her symptoms. And yeah, it's, it's an interesting story and she's going to join the
00:13:12.480 show with a couple of friends. I think her mom is coming on next Tuesday night as well. I want to
00:13:16.720 throw this up on the screen for you guys in case you missed this. This came out a couple of days
00:13:21.180 ago judge tosses vexatious and that's hilarious vexatious canadian armed forces vaccine mandate
00:13:29.800 lawsuit over lack of material facts remember over 300 members of the canadian armed forces were
00:13:38.160 were kicked out or they were made to do awful things or laughed at and made to stand outside
00:13:44.880 in minus 25 degree weather for nine hours at a time because they refused to bend the knee and
00:13:50.540 take that shot? Well, the judge in this case calls it vexatious. More than 300 plaintiffs who were
00:13:57.900 seeking $1.3 million in damages each will now collectively pay the Canadian government $5,000
00:14:04.160 in court costs. That is absolutely outrageous. They were being represented by our friend at
00:14:10.860 Valor Law, Catherine Christensen, and Catherine is going to come on the show on Monday night
00:14:15.760 to talk about that vexatious i don't think so made it says love the story on john lennon on
00:14:24.700 the extension a couple of nights ago yeah that's interesting the assassination of john lennon was
00:14:30.020 it everything we've heard it is or was over the past 40 years nobody and this is interesting in
00:14:37.640 that video nobody has ever come out and said that john lennon was in fact shot by mark david chap
00:14:44.260 because nobody saw it happen nobody has said that is how it went down it was just assumed
00:14:52.620 and then it became folklore and that was that not even yoko ono has come out and said that that
00:14:59.640 video exists in the news and human interest section on the website shadow davis.com again
00:15:05.300 that is shadow davis.com remember the other night i was talking about now somebody called me on this
00:15:12.140 And we didn't get into any kind of conversation or argument or debate about this.
00:15:15.860 But I was suggesting that Donald Trump, you know, the Antichrist from revelations in the Bible, right?
00:15:22.340 Some people have been saying that it's Donald Trump.
00:15:24.640 And I suggested that the possibility exists, that it could be Donald Trump,
00:15:30.400 because that Antichrist character is supposed to be one of these personalities who just draws the world together.
00:15:39.660 And what is Trump going to do right now?
00:15:41.560 he's going to take us away from the brink of war i'm not saying the other side isn't in on it they're
00:15:45.740 all playing a role all the world's a stage after all but i was sent a very interesting video today
00:15:53.900 about elon musk perhaps playing that role and there is testimony from a woman that used to
00:16:02.920 now i know how this sounds you guys believe me i know because i felt the same way myself and i still
00:16:08.200 kind of do. But we have testimony from a woman who used to babysit Elon when he was a young boy,
00:16:16.220 like eight, nine, 10 years old, who claims she saw some stuff. And it's alarming. Obviously,
00:16:27.520 I can't play that video here because you know what's going to happen. The censorship goons 0.77
00:16:34.080 will come down and take the show right off the air. You guys have seen that happen before.
00:16:38.200 So I'm going to put that in the extension tonight for all access after 9 o'clock central at shadowdavis.com.
00:16:44.840 That and a rebuttal from President Vladimir Putin of Russia regarding the long-range missile use by Ukraine.
00:16:53.540 That was aired originally on RT, but because that's banned in Canada, you didn't see it.
00:16:59.040 Well, I happen to have a copy of what he said, translated and everything, and we're going to play that on the extension tonight.
00:17:05.180 If you're not an all-access member, become one at shadowdavis.com.
00:17:08.740 One more thing before we get into the stuff tonight, the GST.
00:17:12.100 Right Bland, our friend Patriot Smoothie posted this on his X account earlier today.
00:17:17.040 Pat King's verdict will be delivered tomorrow morning at 9.30 Eastern.
00:17:20.940 That's tomorrow morning.
00:17:22.480 In the Ontario Superior Court of Justice concerning his nine charges from the Freedom Convoy,
00:17:27.560 court proceedings are open to the public.
00:17:29.540 The courthouse is located at 161 Elgin Street.
00:17:32.960 Superior Court is upstairs.
00:17:34.240 There will likely be a sizable left-wing corporate media presence hoping for a circus scene.
00:17:40.160 Any outbursts, positive or negative, will not help Pat King.
00:17:43.880 And you can also get in trouble yourself, no matter how much you agree or disagree with these decisions, whatever they happen to be.
00:17:50.760 Respect is required in the courthouse.
00:17:52.720 Keep that in mind if you plan on attending tomorrow morning.
00:17:55.740 As with the entire proceeding so far, there will be no Zoom access for the public for King's decision.
00:18:02.060 That is tomorrow morning at 9.30.
00:18:03.980 I'm certain that RightBlend will be posting on that the second he receives the news.
00:18:09.440 If you don't follow him on X or on YouTube or on Facebook, please go ahead and give him a follow.
00:18:15.480 RightBlend, at RightBlend on all social media.
00:18:19.320 All right, so let's go to the left-wing corporate-funded taxpayer-funded CBC for this story.
00:18:25.100 as announced by justin trudeau today he plans to send 250 checks to most people
00:18:34.620 and slash gst on some goods starting on december the 14th how's he going to do this we're going
00:18:41.420 to get into that but here today is justin trudeau making the announcement two months
00:18:47.020 We're going to remove the GST, HST from groceries, 100% of groceries, all groceries.
00:19:01.320 We're going to remove the GST from restaurant meals, takeouts, fast food.
00:19:08.240 Removing the GST from beer and wine.
00:19:10.860 removing the gst for essentials like kids clothing footwear diapers and toys
00:19:21.660 yeah so for two months you don't have to pay gst on any of that stuff
00:19:29.900 jagmeet singh who is his partner in crime on this one and will claim credit for forcing the
00:19:36.580 Trudeau government into this move, took it a little bit further.
00:19:39.940 Minister, I will make it permanent. We fought for this. We said this is important. And the
00:19:44.960 Liberals informed us that they had caved to our demands. But they included a Liberal letdown.
00:19:50.340 This is temporary. And it doesn't include the monthly bills. But we know that middle-class
00:19:55.060 families need a break. So this is what we are committing to today. We want to see this relief 1.00
00:20:00.720 as done as quickly as possible.
00:20:02.980 So we're prepared to pause the privilege motion
00:20:06.980 that's being debated in the House for one day,
00:20:09.720 get this bill passed in one day,
00:20:12.420 so that working families,
00:20:14.140 so that middle-class families can get this relief
00:20:16.580 as quick as possible.
00:20:18.960 Okay, so what does he mean when he says that?
00:20:21.400 Well, remember that the House of Commons
00:20:23.600 is still completely and totally deadlocked.
00:20:27.240 They can't move ahead with government business right now
00:20:29.600 because of that that pesky problem that 400 million dollar green slush fund controversy
00:20:35.280 that's going on and until the liberal government produces unredacted documents from that all of
00:20:41.200 that to the rcmp government business cannot proceed however what jagmeet singh said there
00:20:47.600 is that well we're willing to suspend that for one day to get all this stuff moved through
00:20:53.120 now because this is a financial motion it will be a vote of confidence automatically
00:20:58.540 NDP and the liberals will vote together on this, giving them just enough to get over the threshold
00:21:03.680 and pass this motion. But the thing is that the liberals apparently want to jam more stuff
00:21:11.140 into this bill aside from the GST break of two months starting on December the 14th. We don't
00:21:18.180 know what else they want to jam through. But if the conservatives call for debate and the bloc
00:21:25.780 calls for debate, there's no way they're going to be able to get it done. Friends, this whole thing
00:21:33.300 is completely screwed. Trudeau obviously is trying to buy votes here. That's all this is. I believe 0.95
00:21:43.120 he's gearing up for a spring election and he wants it fresh in the people's minds that, hey, we gave
00:21:48.960 you a break on the GST over Christmas. And those checks, those $250 checks that are going out to
00:21:53.660 18 million Canadians, by the way, won't be going out until April the 1st, which is going to cost
00:22:00.240 us $4.7 billion. Just in those rebate checks alone, never mind what the government would
00:22:08.120 have brought in on GST over Christmas. Here's Yves Blanchet of the Bloc Québécois talking about this
00:22:17.160 today. What I'm saying is, you know, that's a tactic. That's a trick. If people get more money
00:22:28.660 in their pockets, I would be ill-advised to say I'm against the idea of it. But I'm clearly
00:22:38.220 against the idea of a prime minister who says, I will give you money in order for you to consider
00:22:48.200 voting for me. That is against the very principle or the ethics of the job. And I don't know how
00:22:57.660 it would proceed. So how are we going to vote, at what time, through what procedure? I do not
00:23:04.880 know and i cannot answer that more than that they probably cannot tell you either but if you were
00:23:11.020 to vote would you vote would you officially vote against it you know i will never answer to such
00:23:15.700 a live political question that's a trick if i vote against taking money out of people's pockets well
00:23:25.120 what happens you see trudeau is trying to set this up so he's the good guy and jagmeet singh as well
00:23:31.000 right oh look at the conservatives in the bloc voted against us giving you more of your money
00:23:36.600 back how dare they especially in a in an affordability crisis like this
00:23:41.840 here's pierre polyev well jagmeet singh has broken his word yet again remember jagmeet singh said the
00:23:54.100 deal was ripped up well now he's taped it right back together despite all the poverty and misery
00:24:00.340 And the record gap between rich and poor, the NDP crows so much about,
00:24:04.720 they're now keeping the government in power that did it.
00:24:09.080 You know, he said that he would not support Justin Trudeau anymore.
00:24:13.780 And now he's doing just that.
00:24:16.340 Until at least his pension kicks in next February.
00:24:20.320 Jagmeet Singh has sold out Canadians to sign on with Trudeau again.
00:24:24.740 And today, what we have is a two-month temporary tax trick that will not make up for the permanent quadrupling carbon tax on heat, housing, food, and fuel, and all to save Justin's job and Jagmeet's pension.
00:24:52.220 Ironically, in just a few months, Trudeau and the NDP plan to raise taxes on all the same items they claim they're giving you a break on, directly through the carbon tax.
00:25:04.660 They'll be raising taxes on heat, on gas, on everything that comes in a truck.
00:25:11.460 If you got it, a truck brought it, and it will be more expensive with this carbon tax.
00:25:16.960 They even plan to jack up liquor taxes in April, while they claim to be taking them
00:25:23.640 off for the next two months.
00:25:26.440 That sounds like a trick.
00:25:28.480 A trick.
00:25:29.480 It's a trick. 1.00
00:25:31.480 You don't look like you're foolish. 0.99
00:25:32.480 It's a trick. 0.99
00:25:33.480 You can see the trick, even he's laughing.
00:25:37.200 Nobody believes Justin Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh after they've impoverished our people
00:25:43.140 and made life worse off.
00:25:46.380 a trick. It's a trick. You think it's a trick? You do. I can see you smiling. It's a trick,
00:25:52.220 right? A trick. Of course it's a trick. It's not even a good trick. The question is, are people
00:26:00.740 going to buy it? Obviously, you know, all the big polling firms in the next few days are going to be
00:26:06.460 sending out surveys and making phone calls. Hey, do you think this is a good move by the Trudeau
00:26:11.260 government will it will it make you vote for him again and i would not be surprised knowing
00:26:16.180 canadians and how they love government handouts that trudeau's favorability rating goes up by a
00:26:22.440 few points sadly so here's what's on the table trudeau announced a suite of new measures meant
00:26:32.720 to alleviate some of the affordability pressures people have been experiencing in the post-covid
00:26:37.820 era. By the way, this comes straight from the liberal talking point sheet. This is exactly what
00:26:46.500 Trudeau said today that is being echoed word for word by the CBC. Does that surprise you?
00:26:55.560 It shouldn't. A two-month GST holiday on some goods and services. The liberal government will
00:27:03.640 also send $250 checks to 18.7 million people in Canada who worked last year and earned $150,000
00:27:13.460 or less. Those checks, which the government is calling the working Canadians rebate,
00:27:20.180 will arrive sometime early spring of next year, just in time for an election.
00:27:29.480 The GST-HST holiday will start December 14th and run through February 15th.
00:27:33.780 That's, of course, if they can pass it in the House of Commons.
00:27:36.200 They have to pass this in the House of Commons.
00:27:41.060 So people will be able to buy the following goods without tax.
00:27:44.920 Prepared foods, including veggie trays, pre-made meals, salad sandwiches, restaurant meals, dine-in, takeout, delivery, whatever.
00:27:51.680 snacks including chips candy and granola bars beer wine cider pre-mixed alcoholic beverages
00:27:57.600 below seven percent alcohol by volume whatever children's clothing and footwear car seats diapers
00:28:05.880 children's toys board games dolls video game consoles books print newspapers puzzles for all
00:28:11.720 ages christmas trees with these exceptions all food in canada will be essentially tax free
00:28:18.560 All right. So let's, let's.
00:28:24.320 Fraser Institute was very, very quick to come up with a how much is this going to cost us op ed.
00:28:31.320 And here it is. Trudeau's new tax package gets almost everything wrong.
00:28:41.460 Of course it does. Did you see the thumbnail for the show tonight?
00:28:45.820 it was nine years ago that justin trudeau said and the budget will balance itself balance itself
00:28:55.000 balance itself of course those those tricked up videos that were turned into songs and rap tunes
00:29:01.860 over the years but balance itself to balance anyway and trudeau announced several short-term
00:29:10.480 initiatives related to tax policy most notably the package including a two-month gst holiday
00:29:15.620 on certain items in that one-time $250 check that will be sent to all Canadians with incomes of
00:29:22.020 $150,000 who worked in 2023. Unfortunately, the Trudeau government's package is a grab bag full
00:29:29.580 of bad ideas that will not do anything to get Canada out of the long-term growth rut,
00:29:35.720 which our economy is mired in. There are too many to list all in one place.
00:29:40.400 but here are four of the biggest problems with trudeau's tax plan number one it reduces the
00:29:48.100 wrong taxes so when it comes to economic growth not all taxes are created equal some cause far
00:29:53.000 more economic harm per dollar of government revenue raised than others the government's
00:29:58.460 package creates a holiday on the gst for some items only for two months again only for two
00:30:03.180 months which is a mistake given the gst is one of the least economically harmful components of
00:30:08.240 the tax mix canada's recent growth record is abysmal and boosting growth should be a primary
00:30:14.800 goal of any changes to tax policy a gst cut of any duration fails this test relative to other
00:30:22.180 tax cuts temporary tax holiday shift consumption in time they don't boost growth one-time tax
00:30:29.880 rebates don't improve economic incentives what else have we got here oh right 4.7 billion dollar
00:30:37.100 price tag now again that is only for sending out those rebate checks in april right let's not
00:30:43.140 forget how much money they're going to lose from the revenue they would have taken in if the gst
00:30:48.960 had stayed i worked it out today it's something like eight billion dollars for a grand total of
00:30:55.320 let's call it 12.5 13 billion dollars 13 billion dollars this guy is willing to spend of our money
00:31:05.620 And by the way, he's not spending that money. He's going to have to borrow to to make up the deficit somehow or create it out of thin air through the Bank of Canada, which is going to create inflation again, like higher than we've ever seen it before.
00:31:19.820 All for this two month tax break. So he can say, look what I did for you over Christmas. And look, I'm giving you money. I'm giving you money.
00:31:26.180 i mean seriously this guy is intentionally trying to tank our economy this is intentional and this
00:31:33.740 is something we've been talking about for the past four years in regards to the world economic
00:31:38.280 forum's plan to destabilize the west that's exactly what this is do not be fooled
00:31:45.980 so these guys here at the fraser institute have the right idea
00:31:50.960 but they don't really call it like they see it and you know i will tell you this
00:31:58.940 or they do call it like they see it maybe maybe they don't really understand exactly what's going
00:32:06.760 on in the world although at this point it's kind of hard not to see it i have spoken to in the past
00:32:13.820 two and a half days four politicians provincial not necessarily from manitoba not going to say
00:32:20.900 where they're from and federal who know all about what's going on they know all about it
00:32:27.760 but they can't talk about it and i said to each one of them and i'm not even going to name names
00:32:34.300 here because at one point they may decide ah what the hell i'll talk about it i don't want
00:32:38.700 to absolutely tank that idea going forward so i'm not going to name them and it's not my
00:32:44.980 responsibility to do that either it's their responsibility anyway they said we can't talk
00:32:50.600 about it because people will think we're crazy it's like saying i was abducted by aliens and 0.98
00:32:56.980 took a probe up the ass how many people would actually believe you well probably more these 0.96
00:33:02.080 days than maybe 10 years ago but you get what i'm saying here and the other thing is that they would 0.98
00:33:08.060 never ever be elected again ever and they would be smeared and of course canceled all over social
00:33:15.400 media and that's not what they want plus how would this look in their community circles a lot of
00:33:20.680 these people are community leaders they lead fundraising organizations united way red cross
00:33:27.540 that kind of thing so if they came out publicly and said oh and by the way those organizations
00:33:32.520 would absolutely disown them they would be left alone now i'm not saying for me that would be a
00:33:39.820 scary thing because it's already happened to me i don't care doesn't doesn't matter and none of us
00:33:45.700 should because if we do then things will never change for these people and you know i asked each
00:33:52.660 of them as well i said when did you figure this out one of them said four years ago and i said
00:33:58.040 are you freaking kidding me and you've sat there like this how can you do that
00:34:01.460 the other three in the last six months and through a lot of the work that ken drysdale
00:34:11.340 has done by the way with manitoba stronger together and all of the great seminars he's
00:34:15.720 been doing in rural municipalities around winnipeg warning people about this winnipeg
00:34:21.240 metro region 2050 smart city plan and maybe if i'm able to get this out of four politicians
00:34:32.600 maybe there's more that do know about it but they just won't talk about it and so this is
00:34:38.440 this is where the problem lies you guys and i'm gonna ask you if you're one of these people
00:34:46.220 I mean, you know, you might be new here.
00:34:48.880 You might be relatively new here.
00:34:50.920 You might be a long timer.
00:34:52.440 You might have been screaming your head off about this for the past four or five years.
00:34:55.960 I don't know.
00:34:57.440 You might have given up after trying it for two years.
00:35:02.200 Whatever the case, the more of us who speak up about all of this
00:35:07.020 and we're able to tie all of it together.
00:35:09.400 Also, remember, please remember that it's easy to prove it.
00:35:14.260 based upon everything that you see on the world economic forum website everything you see on the
00:35:20.360 united nations website all the literature that's come out from the canadian government
00:35:24.080 and all of the literature that's come out from the partners for climate protection
00:35:28.480 icly canada the federation of canadian municipalities and what's in your cities
00:35:33.980 towns or municipalities plan for 2050 or 2030 or whatever plan it is and i've told you guys
00:35:41.500 repeatedly how to find that, I suggest you go ahead and look for it. It's not going to be that
00:35:45.960 difficult. More government controversy. Somehow Justin Trudeau seems to have one controversy
00:35:53.220 after the next, after the next, after the next. Remember that Parliament is paralyzed right now
00:35:57.760 because he refuses to hand over unredacted documents regarding the $400 million green
00:36:03.240 slush fund to the RCMP. Well, what about the Randy Boisinoe scandal? This is, I believe he's the
00:36:11.180 the minister for infrastructure or is it energy or jobs? He's a minister or used to be. He's a
00:36:19.660 cabinet minister stepping down after shifting claims on his indigenous heritage. So not only
00:36:27.120 was he funneling tax dollars into his own company during COVID, he lied about his heritage to get
00:36:34.940 the money in the first place, claimed he was part Indian. He's not. And then there was some
00:36:41.620 other Randy, the two Randy scandal. So he's stepping down from cabinet when he should be
00:36:49.120 in handcuffs. Seriously. He should be in handcuffs, sitting in a jail cell right now, awaiting bail,
00:36:56.400 which, if I had my way, would never come. One of the conservative MPs who's been grilling him
00:37:03.280 and others relentlessly in committee over the past three months is Michael Barrett.
00:37:09.980 Look, this took several months after the Liberal government learned that Randy Blasino's company
00:37:17.140 had fraud allegations brought against it. We now know that the Edmonton police is investigating
00:37:23.900 Randy Blasino's former company and his former business partner for fraud. We know that Randy
00:37:30.460 Boissoneau, while he was the 50% owner of the company, that it made claims that it was
00:37:35.480 100% Indigenous owned when Randy Boissoneau himself has said that he does not have Indigenous
00:37:41.180 identity.
00:37:42.240 This is, you know, a prime minister who had allowed Randy Boissoneau to stay in his cabinet
00:37:48.060 and only the day before Randy Boissoneau resigned said that he was happy to have him continue
00:37:54.820 in cabinet.
00:37:55.940 This is emblematic of a government that doesn't take seriously not only their responsibility and their supposed commitment to reconciliation,
00:38:05.180 but also you have this company, Global Health Imports, has not been banned from bidding on Government of Canada contracts.
00:38:13.280 So they're still eligible to bid on government contracts when they have admitted to fraud in their application.
00:38:20.480 So this is obviously unacceptable. And the question for Justin Trudeau is, why did he allow Randy Boissoneau to stay in cabinet for so long?
00:38:30.840 The last thing I'll say is this. When Canada's first Indigenous Attorney General and Minister of Justice stood up to Justin Trudeau,
00:38:39.060 when he attempted to interfere in the criminal prosecution of SNC-Lavalin, he kicked her out of the Liberal caucus.
00:38:45.780 And of course, she was fired from cabinet. Now, those concerns of Miss Wilson-Raybould were proven to be true when Justin Trudeau was found guilty of breaking the Conflict of Interest Act for just that very thing.
00:38:57.160 And you juxtapose that against what happened with Randy Boissoneau, a white guy pretending to be Indigenous, stealing from Indigenous-owned companies by trying to take contracts away from them, and Justin Trudeau could barely get around to agreeing on a statement with Mr. Boissoneau for him to leave Cabinet.
00:39:17.440 It speaks volumes. And this is all happening. Well, Justin Trudeau's government has seen a record of food price inflation, the doubling of home costs.
00:39:27.660 And he puts in charge of one of his ministries, a guy who couldn't even manage a six person company.
00:39:36.080 He goes on for another five minutes, by the way. And the last thing I'll say is this.
00:39:42.260 and you want to know what it's funny he brings up good points but justin trudeau today is a good
00:39:50.920 day we're giving canadians a break on the gst we're taking the tax off uh of of fast food
00:40:01.280 and alcohol some of it and uh uh takeout food and restaurant food
00:40:09.260 to the tune of billions of our dollars billions billions man it's a disaster waiting to happen
00:40:20.860 but it's a short-term solution for trudeau which means which means there will be an election and
00:40:27.500 it's happening in the spring trudeau has timed the delivery of these checks if in fact we have
00:40:33.820 mail by april 1st to the spring so people will be getting these gst rebate checks just in time 0.99
00:40:41.540 to go to the polls and vote because he thinks that you are stupid all right let's move on with 0.99
00:40:50.600 another story here the majority of canadians feel refugees and asylum seekers receive too many 0.99
00:40:55.040 benefits i had a great conversation with a pakistani immigrant to canada he's been here for
00:41:04.000 six years now and he said you know what they're right we never got these kinds of benefits six 0.53
00:41:09.040 years ago and now look what's going on it's shameful shameful canadians opinions are
00:41:15.080 shifting on immigration with more people opposing canada's generous immigration support systems
00:41:20.640 According to surveys commissioned by the Canadian Museum of Human Rights, by probe research in 2023 and 2024, there has been a significant increase in the number of respondents from 49% in 2023 to 56% in 2024, who indicated that refugees and asylum seekers received too many benefits.
00:41:44.920 and then there's the international students temporary workers the survey used a rep sample
00:41:50.960 of 2 500 people in canada from protege and national sample provider the sample was statistically
00:41:55.960 weighted for age and gender to represent canada's demographics according to the 2021 census the
00:42:01.620 online panel is not a random sample so no margin of error can be ascribed a probability sample of
00:42:07.780 the same size carries a margin of a margin of error greater than or less than 2 19 times out of 20
00:42:14.340 Among the 56 percent who reported that asylum seekers and refugees received too many benefits that could be better used on Canadians, 29 percent strongly agreed, while 27 percent said they somewhat agree.
00:42:29.260 Only five of the 16 percent of respondents who disagreed with the sentiment said they strongly agree.
00:42:35.760 refugees and asylum seekers have multiple taxpayer funded supports available including
00:42:41.220 financial assistance with housing and payments for food and clothing through the resettlement
00:42:46.020 assistance program language training access to canada's government funded social and health
00:42:50.800 care programs i heard some numbers the other day but i'm not going to say what they are and the
00:42:56.540 reason for that is i'm not exactly certain i don't want to throw these numbers out there and be wrong
00:43:01.160 about it but i hear that a family of four will actually get more money in benefits and actual
00:43:11.220 money and services than a working family of four of what did harper call them years ago
00:43:18.200 heritage canadians or old stock canadians oh and by the way speaking of immigrants and
00:43:25.460 international students. Here's a Palestinian protest gone awry at Concordia University where
00:43:31.900 these protesters actually pushed their way past the cops, got into the university, and then
00:43:36.500 started to disrupt classes video from Desi Media.
00:43:55.460 We want racism, we want crochet
00:44:04.100 We want advancement, we want reconstruction
00:44:10.760 We want boycott, we want boycott
00:44:22.660 Keep on, stop, stop
00:44:26.100 Let's go ahead
00:44:27.200 Keep on, keep on, stop
00:44:36.980 ALHIT IS FIRE
00:44:39.720 ALHIT IS FIRE
00:44:42.860 tho
00:44:44.220 be quiet
00:44:46.520 εν
00:44:52.120 so let me ask you a question why doesn't the government just come out and say all right any
00:44:59.560 more of these palestinian protests and you're not canadian you're here on a student visa or
00:45:05.040 whatever kind of visa you're here on you're out instantly deported back to where you came from 0.66
00:45:11.340 and as far as any canadians taking part in this we'll we'll throw you in jail 0.93
00:45:16.140 we'll throw you in jail just like we did with the freedom convoy people how about that 0.96
00:45:22.120 and then we'll slap you with vexation vexatious charges and completely ruin your life for the 0.97
00:45:31.300 next four or five years we are gonna f you up so freaking bad that you will never ever want 0.92
00:45:36.660 to protest again now the difference of course between the freedom convoy and this is obvious
00:45:41.180 do i need to go into it probably not we need somebody like trump up here trump would just
00:45:47.280 step up to a microphone and say the nonsense is over and then make that threat that i just suggested
00:45:53.780 and guess what would happen it would happen one more time and that would be the end of it donald
00:45:59.460 trump by the way has this came out last week but i didn't get a chance to put it on he said the u.s
00:46:04.680 will be withdrawn from the world health organization again health organization has become nothing more
00:46:11.200 than a corrupt globalist scam paid for by the United States, but owned and controlled by China. 0.81
00:46:17.980 When the China virus reached our shores three years ago, the World Health Organization 0.92
00:46:22.300 disgracefully covered the tracks of the Chinese Communist Party every single step of the way. 0.98
00:46:28.380 For this reason, it was my great honor to terminate America's relationship with the World Health 0.83
00:46:33.000 Organization. The United States was paying the World Health Organization almost $500 million
00:46:38.800 dollars a year when i dropped out i took it out of there and for 330 million people even though
00:46:46.240 china was paying only 40 million dollars for 1.4 billion people so we had 330 they have 1.4 and
00:46:54.420 we're paying more than 10 times the amount that's typical for the united states because they don't 0.68
00:47:00.360 know what the hell they're doing unfortunately crooked joe biden foolishly re-entered the
00:47:05.280 World Health Organization at the full price and without any negotiations or reforms.
00:47:11.900 And now Biden is pushing to bypass the United States Senate to enter a pandemic treaty that
00:47:17.700 would surrender American sovereignty to the World Health Organization, again, controlled by China.
00:47:24.360 The draft treaty would require the United States to send vast quantities of medical supplies to
00:47:29.720 other countries in the event of another pandemic, and it would push aggressive
00:47:34.100 censorship of free speech on issues of public health, just like they censored the truth about 0.61
00:47:40.480 the Wuhan lab, which I said that's where it came from, remember. Under the next Trump administration,
00:47:46.400 that treaty will be immediately terminated. I would not allow public health to be used as a
00:47:51.840 pretext to advance the march of global government. That's what they're doing, globalists. The United
00:47:57.800 States will withdraw from the corrupt World Health Organization, which, in light of its utter failure,
00:48:04.100 during COVID. They had a tremendous disaster on COVID. Deserves to be completely abolished and
00:48:10.340 replaced. Then I will work to forge a new coalition of nations that are strongly committed
00:48:15.420 to protecting health while also upholding sovereignty and freedom. I want to thank you
00:48:20.860 very much, but I also want to say this. I could have renegotiated the deal. I could have gone
00:48:25.940 into the World Health Organization for $25 million. Biden didn't take that deal. He's paying
00:48:33.740 almost 500 million dollars they were so anxious to get the united states back after i terminated
00:48:40.140 the agreement they were so anxious to get it back that they offered me a deal 25 to 30 million
00:48:46.620 dollars and i said no i'll wait could have gotten it for less but i didn't want less at that point
00:48:51.660 we were paying almost 500 million could have done it for 25 to 30. biden took the 500 almost the
00:48:59.040 500 million dollar deal. He knew he could have gotten back in for less. So why did he pay so
00:49:05.960 much? But that's just one of many things that are wrong with our country. Thank you very much.
00:49:20.620 Decisive leadership, baby. That's what it's about. Oh, did you hear the International Criminal Court
00:49:27.640 has issued a warrant for israeli prime minister benjamin netanyahu
00:49:32.780 yeah so if netanyahu leaves israel and goes into let's say another country like canada
00:49:41.680 he'll be arrested here's trudeau has issued warrants for prime minister benjamin netanyahu
00:49:49.520 and his former defense minister yoav galland canadian law enforcement is obligated to arrest
00:49:56.480 them should they come to Canada. Will you allow that to happen or will you step in
00:50:00.920 to prevent an arrest? First of all, as Canada has always said, it's really
00:50:05.800 important that everyone abide by international law. This is something
00:50:10.700 we've been calling on from the beginning of the conflict. We are one of the
00:50:16.220 founding members of the International Criminal Court and International Court
00:50:20.840 justice uh we stand up for international law and we will abide uh by all uh the uh
00:50:29.240 all the regulations and rulings of uh the international courts this is just who we are
00:50:34.920 as canadians at the same time we need to keep working to solve this terrible situation yeah
00:50:42.440 because we've got a lot of say so and a lot of credibility in that regard because justin trudeau
00:50:49.960 has built up so much cred these past 10 years
00:50:53.920 that his words are golden, man,
00:50:56.120 and everybody is going to go along with what he says.
00:51:01.960 It's insane.
00:51:03.540 It's insane.
00:51:04.700 But now I'm hoping that you're getting the idea here.
00:51:08.480 When Trump says he's going to remove the United States
00:51:10.980 from the World Health Organization
00:51:13.020 and try to create a new one with like-minded countries,
00:51:16.960 like-minded freedom-loving countries,
00:51:19.960 Where is that going to leave Canada? 0.94
00:51:22.880 Who's going to stay in the Chinese-run World Health Organization?
00:51:29.640 And who's going to go to this new one that Trump wants to put together for freedom-loving countries?
00:51:35.840 What's Canada going to do?
00:51:38.960 And the same thing with this Netanyahu thing, right? 0.89
00:51:41.640 The International Criminal Court has issued a warrant for him.
00:51:46.520 now i'm not going to get into the middle of this israel palestine thing because you guys know my
00:51:52.520 feelings on that which are pretty much whatever i don't want it in our country i don't want it
00:51:58.140 in our country and as far as what this might mean for the new world order or the globalists or
00:52:06.160 whatever i don't know because i haven't figured that out and neither do you so don't sit there
00:52:12.560 and say anything other you have a theory yeah maybe but you don't know exactly what's going
00:52:20.280 on because nobody does none of us do we're just kind of watching things unfold around us in my
00:52:26.940 opinion the two cabals are coming closer and closer to some kind of
00:52:38.720 loggerheads it's going on with russia ukraine israel palestine it's happening it's happening
00:52:47.120 right now now the question i have is are there two cabals or are there two legs and one cabal sitting
00:52:58.560 on top controlling both and then the next logical question would be why go to all this trouble
00:53:12.080 anyway like if you want to take over the world then just take it if you have that kind of power
00:53:18.340 then just take it or is it all part of your satanic ritual that you got to sit there and 0.99
00:53:22.200 play these games with us first you know like a cat plays with a dead mouse it's ridiculous 0.95
00:53:28.920 maybe they have to according to scripture maybe they have to give us the chance to figure it out
00:53:37.980 so we can step up and fight back i don't know but it's it's crazy and you know the funny thing is
00:53:45.680 that many of you will focus on this one thing right and not anything else it's everything else
00:53:52.060 is a distraction and then somebody else focuses on the trans agenda and and says to me well
00:53:58.320 everything else is a distraction this is the problem right we need to focus on all of it
00:54:04.180 because guess what it's all part of the same thing destabilization demoralization it's what it is
00:54:11.500 they're trying to get it to the point where we don't know what to believe anymore
00:54:16.640 they're trying to use our brains against us so just when it seems like it's too much
00:54:24.020 and i will tell you that yesterday it seemed like it was too much for me and i just didn't do a show
00:54:28.760 i just didn't because i went no no short circuit sometimes you have to take a couple of steps away
00:54:37.660 and go and do what makes you happy before you can come back and look at it with some kind of
00:54:43.280 perspective never get married to an idea that might be wrong never go into anything thinking
00:54:51.920 i know exactly what's going on because you don't unless you have got irrefutable proof you just
00:54:59.240 don't now as far as the world reacting to the icc uh issuing arrest warrants let's see who's on board
00:55:07.820 with this? Well, Israel obviously rejects it. Hamas likes it. People in Gaza, yeah, they're
00:55:17.820 skeptical about it, but they like it too. The Palestinians love it. Jordan, Palestinians
00:55:22.980 deserve justice in the United States. Different story. The White House said Washington fundamentally 1.00
00:55:27.600 rejects the ICC decision, adding they're deeply concerned by the prosecutor's rush to seek arrest
00:55:34.160 warrants and the troubling process errors that led to this decision. Canada? Oh, yeah, we got to
00:55:39.260 support international law. That's what Trudeau said. You just heard him. South Africa? Absolutely.
00:55:44.480 We believe in international law. We urge all state parties to act in accordance with their
00:55:49.860 obligations. European Union said the same thing. The Netherlands respects the independence of the
00:55:55.540 ICC. France? Same thing. Norway? Same thing. Ireland? Same thing. Now, what about Italy?
00:56:03.020 Italy's foreign minister Antonio Tajani said Rome would consider with allies how to interpret
00:56:09.660 the decision act together we support the ICC the court must play a legal role and not a political
00:56:14.840 role so that's interesting coming from the government of Georgia Milani
00:56:19.180 maybe that is a diplomatic way of saying we're going to wait and see here until we can figure
00:56:27.160 out whether this is legal as opposed to being politicized. Sweden says they want to act on
00:56:34.520 the warrants if Netanyahu for some reason decides to go to Sweden. Hungary, Hungary is an interesting
00:56:40.980 one as well. They condemned this decision. In the UK, of course, Keir Starmer, he's all he's all
00:56:47.480 about it. So it seems like the globalists support the decision with the exception of the United
00:56:53.460 States government, and everybody else is rejecting it. That's interesting. Take from that what you
00:57:03.000 will. Matt Gaetz was supposed to be the next attorney general in the United States. He's a
00:57:09.900 congressman from Florida, but he withdrew this morning because of allegations that he was having
00:57:14.460 sex with a couple of 17-year-olds a few years ago, and that lasted for a few months, and he was paying
00:57:20.680 the money to do it. Here is Senator Josh Hawley with Fox News last night talking about just that.
00:57:28.900 Met with Vance and Gates, and he joins me now. All right, Senator Hawley, so what's the word
00:57:35.180 in the Senate about these confirmations? Well, I think the word ought to be, Jesse,
00:57:40.580 that every single one of these nominees needs to have a confirmation hearing as quickly as possible.
00:57:45.400 My plan is to support all of them, and I would just say to my Senate colleagues,
00:57:48.940 Listen, let these guys testify.
00:57:51.540 Give them a shot.
00:57:52.540 I know some of these Senate GOP folks are saying, oh, I've got concerns.
00:57:56.480 That's what a hearing is for.
00:57:57.880 Don't go out and bash these people until you've at least allowed them to make their case.
00:58:02.560 And listen, I mean, I think they've got momentum.
00:58:04.400 I thought the meeting today with Gates went great.
00:58:06.800 And it's full steam ahead.
00:58:08.320 So some of these guys, even not having a hearing, maybe not even met Matt Gates, they're just no's?
00:58:16.080 You know, I've read about my colleagues, some of them here in the Senate, who say we've got
00:58:20.060 deep concerns. Of course, I'm reading all of the slander and garbage in the press 0.90
00:58:24.680 about Gates and others. And this is really approaching Kavanaugh proportions. They're 0.95
00:58:28.620 trying to do to him what they did to Kavanaugh. And the answer to that is, let the guy speak.
00:58:34.160 He deserves to be able to address this himself. He deserves to be able to lay out his vision
00:58:38.760 and the president's vision for the DOJ. And I look forward to that. And listen,
00:58:43.200 As I said to President Trump, I'm going to help him whatever way I can to get the president
00:58:47.280 the cabinet that he wants and deserves.
00:58:50.380 Take Gates out for a second. 0.99
00:58:52.060 Just talk about all these guys and women that are up for these cabinet positions. 1.00
00:58:57.100 I saw your colleague Tuberville hold up a sign on the Senate floor with a big zero.
00:59:02.080 Zero Democrats in the Senate voted against any of Biden's cabinet nominees.
00:59:08.300 Zero.
00:59:09.000 And look what these nominees did in Biden's cabinet.
00:59:11.980 They wrecked the country. They blew open the border. They spent trillions of dollars.
00:59:16.060 Zero. Democrats were against them. Are Republicans comfortable voting against
00:59:19.900 President Trump's picks? I sure hope not. I mean, listen, I think that the president deserves to
00:59:27.220 have a cabinet that reflects his agenda, that's going to implement his agenda. And you made this
00:59:31.940 point just a second ago, Jesse. I think the thing that really the press and the establishment hate
00:59:36.080 so much is how broad this coalition is. They can't believe that people like RFK and Tulsi Gabbard
00:59:41.260 are in this coalition and in this cabinet. And it just reflects the breadth of President Trump's
00:59:46.560 mandate, the breadth of President Trump's coalition. This isn't your typical cabinet,
00:59:51.380 and that's as it should be. It reflects the winning majority coalition Donald Trump put
00:59:55.680 together. So is the president-elect burning up the phones? Is he making threats? I know some
01:00:02.560 people are threatening primaries against some of these Republican senators if they don't vote yes.
01:00:08.280 I think the president is absolutely weighing in.
01:00:11.240 That's my sense as I visited with him that he's calling people and he's saying, listen, I mean, give these people a shot.
01:00:15.640 Don't go out there and say I'm against him.
01:00:17.440 I'm against her.
01:00:18.340 I will never vote.
01:00:19.480 Yes.
01:00:19.640 Don't say that stuff.
01:00:20.420 Let them speak.
01:00:21.640 Hear their views.
01:00:22.460 I mean, at least let them go through the process and testify and support Trump.
01:00:27.900 I mean, stand by him as he assembles a cabinet that reflects his agenda, reflects the mandate that he's gotten from the American.
01:00:33.900 yeah so um i agree with that i agree it shouldn't be so politicized even as the democrats are now
01:00:42.300 saying oh no no no trump didn't win the popular vote because we're counting illegal ballots in
01:00:46.080 california and pennsylvania they are not sure if you've read that yet but they're trying to
01:00:51.720 for some reason i don't know why maybe a moral victory trying to somehow uh ramp up how many
01:00:58.880 votes they got. It doesn't make any sense at all, because there's no way that they're going to be
01:01:07.060 able to get enough to overturn the Electoral College and the Trump victory. It's never going
01:01:12.280 to happen. Anyway, what did happen with Matt Gaetz? Okay, so here's the story comes from Newsmax.
01:01:20.900 We're not going to go to great detail about this, but it does give us the gist of what's been going
01:01:27.060 on with this guy and has been going on with this guy for the past few years now. He has withdrawn,
01:01:33.200 as we pointed out earlier, from consideration for the attorney general job. Now, he already gave up
01:01:38.460 his Congress seat in Florida, but we hear rumblings that he's going to be taking over a Senate seat
01:01:44.900 in Florida. But let's see what what this story says here. So Matt Gaetz has withdrawn from
01:01:53.040 consideration for ag that happened today saying he was unfairly becoming a distraction to donald
01:01:58.640 trump's transition gates dropped out amid allegations of sexual misconduct and illicit
01:02:04.360 drug use including a new report that surfaced thursday of him having a second sexual encounter
01:02:11.060 with a then 17 year old girl in 2017 he has denied any wrongdoing
01:02:15.700 further his meetings with republican hang on a minute further his meetings with republican
01:02:24.560 senators this week reportedly revealed that his nomination would get rejected
01:02:28.340 in confirmation hearings so there would be some republicans voting against him
01:02:33.740 while the momentum was strong it's clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction
01:02:39.780 of the critical work of the trump vance transition now this if this stuff has been an open secret
01:02:45.720 in washington for the past few years then why would trump have picked him wouldn't trump have
01:02:52.660 asked him first of the trump transition team hey matt is there anything that you might embarrass
01:02:57.700 us with any news back there even if trump hadn't heard about this and and then matt gates says well
01:03:03.000 no i can't think of anything well there is that you know underage uh paid sex thing but that's
01:03:09.680 nothing really i mean how did it come to this how did they get bamboozled that easily and what does
01:03:16.160 they say about the trump team's judgment it's not good gates goes on to say there's no time to waste
01:03:25.860 on a needlessly protected washington scuffle thus i'll be withdrawing my name from consideration
01:03:30.460 to serve as attorney general trump's doj must be in place and ready on day one gates said in a post
01:03:36.360 on X. I remain fully committed to see that Donald J. Trump is the most successful president in
01:03:42.980 history, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Trump said in a statement that Gates, who resigned from
01:03:47.180 Congress last week, did not want to be a distraction. I greatly appreciate the recent
01:03:51.600 efforts of Matt Gates. Although the House Ethics Committee on Wednesday voted against releasing
01:03:59.060 its report on Gates, and that's because of Speaker Johnson's insistence on that. CNN reported today
01:04:07.600 that the panel was told in testimony that Gates had a second previously unreported sexual encounter
01:04:13.080 with a 17-year-old girl at a party in 2017. Further, an attorney for two women said that
01:04:21.000 his clients told committee investigators that Gates paid them for sex on multiple occasions
01:04:25.620 starting in 2017 when gates was a florida congressman one of the women testified she
01:04:30.420 saw gates having sex with a 17 year old at a party in florida in 2017 according to this lawyer
01:04:36.280 joel leopard leopard has said that his client testified she didn't think gates knew the girl
01:04:42.420 was underage stopped their relationship when he found out and did not resume it until after she
01:04:47.780 turned 18. The age of consent in Florida is 18. Gates has vehemently and repeatedly denied any
01:04:57.040 wrongdoing. So what do you think about this? I think he was right to step down. I think he,
01:05:12.340 I mean, as, as these things are flying around, and that's pretty serious allegation.
01:05:16.400 that is something we stand against in the common sense side of things you know maps
01:05:22.600 minor attracted persons we don't want that that's sick and that needs to not be anywhere near us
01:05:31.780 so he's right to step down but because he's never been convicted of any of this
01:05:38.640 right you're innocent until proven guilty but it's been leaked out there and it's
01:05:46.080 going to be damaging. So what are your thoughts on this? I want to see what you guys, it's
01:05:49.840 a setup, John says. Wanda says, don't care. Why are you here if you don't care? This is
01:05:59.940 kind of an important thing. Donald Trump is setting up his new team. Trudeau is a map.
01:06:06.580 Well, yeah, there's a video that just got released regarding, apparently, Trudeau at a ditty party.
01:06:19.060 I've got that video.
01:06:20.420 We could probably play that.
01:06:21.860 I can't play it on here, but we can probably put that on the extension.
01:06:25.860 Let's put that on the extension on ShadowDavis.com in a couple of minutes for you all access people.
01:06:31.360 I do have one more thing here that I want to put up here before we take off for the night.
01:06:38.960 A couple more things, actually.
01:06:40.720 Let's do this one.
01:06:43.940 Libraries brand books critical of child gender transitions as transphobic literature.
01:06:51.140 Now, personally, I don't care how anything gets branded,
01:06:54.140 but just the gall of these people to try and make regular normal people who see the world in a very
01:07:02.140 common sense way as phobic anything makes my blood boil the chief international bibliography
01:07:09.100 organization and i didn't even know such a thing existed and operator of the library classification
01:07:14.460 system world cat has quietly branded books by gender ideology critical authors like abigail
01:07:20.900 schreier with derogatory transphobia and transphobic works labels several canadian libraries
01:07:27.760 including vancouver public library and greater victoria public library of course have followed
01:07:33.640 suit and applied the transphobia categorization categorization following the online computer
01:07:39.620 library center's direction unbelievable so they're going to have a section
01:07:45.160 or if you take out a book now that says transphobic on it you're going to be labeled
01:07:53.060 that's absolutely outrageous i there's no way that that could stand up in a court challenge
01:07:58.680 finally banning free plastic bags for groceries
01:08:04.000 resulted in customers buying more plastic bags
01:08:09.980 regulations imposed to protect the environment may continue to have impacts even after they're
01:08:24.720 repealed and those lingering impacts include some that run contrary to the goals of the policies in
01:08:30.320 the first place such are the findings of a study published in the journal of marketing research
01:08:36.460 co-authored by uc riverside marketing professor hai chi that examined policies to curtail the use
01:08:43.220 of single-use plastic bags and grocery stores and other retail outlets in austin and dallas texas
01:08:48.880 policies that were later repealed significantly the behavior spurred the by the plastic bag rules
01:08:55.180 continued after the rules were no longer in place and some impacts were not beneficial
01:08:59.800 for the environment chi and his co-authors found an increase in sales of plastic bags after the
01:09:06.060 cities prohibited stores from giving away the free bags for carrying home groceries they quantified
01:09:12.000 plastic bag sales by analyzing barcode scanner data on consumer purchases we were hoping for
01:09:18.140 positive spillover effects like you know customers being more environmentally conscious
01:09:23.620 and consume less one-time use plastic and paper products but that's not what happened
01:09:29.460 people wound up buying more plastic oh i've got some interesting stuff coming up on the extension
01:09:39.420 tonight you guys including the possible identity of the antichrist and we're going to get to that
01:09:47.080 in two minutes i love you all i appreciate you all i thank you for being here i thank you for
01:09:52.940 your support and i will catch you tomorrow night at eight o'clock central for another shadow at

01:10:27.180 Thank you.
