00:03:30.000 hello everybody welcome to shadow at night monday october 21st 2024 intrigue in british
00:03:40.100 columbia what kind of an election was that anyway where you get one party getting one more seat than
00:03:45.200 the other party and the third party getting two seats meaning they have they have the keys to the
00:03:51.280 car they have the deciding swing votes the green party who votes green well you know what that's
00:03:59.240 not really a stupid question anymore it should be but it's not the new brunswick election happened
00:04:05.500 tonight and believe it or not the greens got a significant amount of the electorate to vote for
00:04:10.400 them somehow some way i don't understand is the liberal green agenda not enough for you people
00:04:17.120 you want to go full green marxist i don't get it i've been to bc it's a beautiful province but the
00:04:24.600 people there not going to say all of them as a matter of fact half of them it looks like are
00:04:30.880 dedicated to this idea that climate change is an actual thing man-made climate change is an actual
00:04:36.100 thing and somehow even if it is that canada has a lot to do with it forgetting the the fact
00:04:45.440 that canada has got billions and billions of trees making it actually some scientists say a carbon
00:04:52.720 sinkhole we're not putting any carbon into the atmosphere but then you get other scientists
00:04:59.120 saying well if you keep dropping the carbon levels the entire planet's gonna die because
00:05:04.640 the plants won't be able to breathe and the plants would give us oxygen and so it's a big complicated
00:05:13.600 ultimately i don't like when things become politicized and they have become politicized
00:05:19.120 Obviously, everything has become politicized, especially over these past nine years or so, at least in Canada, since Justin Trudeau has been prime minister.
00:05:27.220 Now, there are rumblings that he may be stepping down because of this pushback from his caucus, which we hear is numbering at least 50 now.
00:05:37.580 Last week, we heard 20 MPs were upset with Trudeau and they wanted to talk to him at the caucus meeting on Wednesday.
00:05:42.940 Then it was 30, then back down to 20, then back up to 30.
00:05:45.420 And today, we heard the left-wing corporate media talking about the possibility of 50, 5-0 of these liberal MPs who want to see Trudeau step down.
00:05:57.300 Now, when you've got 50 in a caucus of 153, you know that in the next non-confidence motion, Mondays, I hate when people blame Monday for their complete and total brain fogs.
00:06:13.120 But anyway, the next non-confidence vote, if 50 MPs, they don't even have to vote against Trudeau, even 30 of them.
00:06:21.860 If they just sit on their hands and abstain, I have no vote.
00:06:26.780 Then the liberals go down if the bloc and the conservatives vote together.
00:06:31.600 And I hate seeing the idea of conservatives voting with the separatist party.
00:06:35.240 but you got to do what you got to do to bring this country back to at least some semblance of
00:06:41.200 normalcy. Considering everything we've been through these past nine years, that would be nice.
00:06:46.520 There's a lot of people saying, oh, be careful, Pierre Palliev. He's one of them. He's one of
00:06:51.380 them. That may be. But everything I hear this man say leads me to believe the opposite. He may be
00:06:59.040 surrounded by some of these people in his office. People like John Baird, we've heard about him and
00:07:04.420 his World Economic Forum ties, and also Michelle Rempel-Garner, who is the Conservative MP from
00:07:11.940 Calgary Nose Hill, who apparently knows a little bit more about this Winnipeg Biolab situation than
00:07:17.820 most of the other MPs sitting in the House, although I don't know how. I've heard rumblings
00:07:23.320 of that from my Ottawa connections. Anyway, that aside, we hear she is, and she is still on the
00:07:28.400 website of the World Economic Forum as a young global leader. So yeah, there's going to be bad
00:07:32.920 seeds in every party but we know that the liberal party of canada is controlled by the world economic
00:07:42.220 forum the united nations and the globalist cabal i don't think the conservative party is controlled
00:07:47.120 by them they may have elements of them in it but i don't believe they're controlled by them
00:07:52.040 that's my take on it and of course there's going to be people going papers and that's fine you want
00:07:57.460 to go ahead and vote ppc in the next federal election fill your boots that's great i don't
00:08:01.760 believe that Maxime Bernier has a chance, a chance, a snowball's chance in hell of ever getting a seat
00:08:08.780 in the House of Commons. He's tried three times. Him alone. And pretty much, he is the party.
00:08:16.900 That's, I'm sorry, but that's just the way it goes. Max Bernier, if he stepped down from the
00:08:22.060 leadership of the People's Party of Canada, there would not be a People's Party of Canada.
00:08:27.160 Anyway, let's continue on here. The Shadow at Night livestream is brought to you by Canada

00:09:32.900 this weekend the health and wellness expo in saskatoon canada nanosilver.com again that is
00:09:40.080 canada nanosilver.com all right i know i've talked about this at length before ad nauseum before
00:09:49.780 but i need to talk about it again because people seem confused as a matter of fact
00:09:54.440 i posted something on social media over the weekend that i it escaped me it just blasted
00:10:00.060 right past me but three weeks ago according to ctv edmonton ctv news edmonton city council there
00:10:07.280 just passed completely passed the 15-minute city plan and they call it the 15-minute city plan
00:10:13.600 in their story you can go look that up just type in into a google search even you can use google
00:10:21.240 you don't have to use brave use google ctv edmonton 15 minute city and the story will
00:10:27.060 come up boom just like that they passed it where's the resistance in edmonton i mean you guys know
00:10:33.200 what's going on with these things and i know that edmonton did have a bit of a resistance
00:10:37.480 last year but that calmed down rather quickly once these city councillors started calling
00:10:43.100 people nutbags and weirdos and extremists and conspiracy theorists. So anyway, there is this
00:10:51.600 town called Morris in Manitoba. It's about a half an hour, maybe 35 minutes south of Winnipeg on
00:10:57.680 Highway 59. It's about 2,000 people. It's a very small, small farming community. And coming up on
00:11:07.640 thursday november 7th and we caught this on the x page of the town of morris today
00:11:12.780 on thursday november 7th the town of morris council will hold a public hearing to receive
00:11:20.420 feedback on the new development plan bylaw grow morris it's called the plan will guide future
00:11:27.060 land use and development within the town of morris it provides policy direction for land use and
00:11:32.840 zoning transportation and parking pedestrian mobility and streetscape improvements
00:11:40.840 so transportation is a problem in a one stoplight eight street town
00:11:47.880 that's actually what they're trying to tell us here
00:11:53.480 a copy of the development plan and supporting material can be accessed online at the url above
00:11:59.080 So that's mrichardassociates.ca.
00:12:02.100 I believe this is a city planning architecture firm based in the city of Winnipeg.
00:12:07.860 So here it is.
00:12:08.520 This is the plan that the town of Morris wants to implement.
00:12:13.780 And they need your input, my friends.
00:12:16.020 Their first hearing, by the way, was back in May.
00:12:18.540 And I understand that not many people attended that.
00:12:21.600 So Thursday, November 7th, town council offices in the Stampede buildings, I think, just off
00:12:28.280 the main drag i mean there's only there's only the eight streets in morris it's not going to
00:12:34.320 be hard to find and i know there's people from morris and surrounding community probably watching
00:12:37.980 this right now going shadow come on say look you guys know how small your town is but you
00:12:42.780 absolutely have to have a sustainable transportation and land use policy in place
00:12:48.500 so the town of morris it's called grow morris and the plan here community plan here 2025 2050 does
00:12:56.740 that sound familiar and people are asking now they're starting to ask questions like well
00:13:00.640 what does this mean what does this 15 minute city mean anyway
00:13:04.740 well why don't you go and read all about it but the flowery language is part of the problem
00:13:15.500 actually it's the entire problem because they're not reading between the lines well we want to
00:13:19.780 help you sustain your community through equity diversity inclusion so uh here's the city council
00:13:26.460 the project steering committee members, and by the way, I saw a picture of the town council of
00:13:32.180 Morris today, and I was having a rough time picking out the woke members. I mean, there
00:13:38.580 doesn't look like a woke member on that council. But then again, maybe the CAO, maybe the town
00:13:44.300 manager is one of these wokies. Maybe it's a bureaucrat. Maybe it's the deep state. That's how
00:13:49.920 they're getting these things passed. And remember that these plans exist in over 400 municipalities
00:13:57.120 across the country. We're going to get into that in just a couple of seconds. Oh, and by the way,
00:14:02.040 before I continue, this coming weekend, Ken Drysdale, Ken Lee, and myself will be at a meeting
00:14:07.620 in LaSalle, Manitoba, to talk about the Winnipeg Plan 2050. Okay, so if you want to come and see us,
00:14:14.320 It's going to be between one and four o'clock at Kingswood golf course in LaSalle this coming
00:14:20.220 Saturday afternoon between one and four o'clock. Be happy to see you there. All right. So here's
00:14:24.640 the table of contents down of Morris story, grow Morris vision. Oh, complete community. That's on
00:14:30.440 page 18. So let's go down. It's 2000 people. It's one stoplight. It's eight. Well, maybe 12
00:14:38.540 streets. Okay. I'm not doing it justice. This is what Morris looks like from above. That's Morris.
00:14:44.320 right chicks that's the entire town now we don't need to go through the history of morris
00:14:51.760 we know that they have the second largest stampede in canada which is cool it's called the
00:14:57.040 manitoba stampede it runs every july or is it june in the town of morris they have this big
00:15:04.320 fairgrounds down there it's really fun actually down in morris the economy is based on agriculture
00:15:09.680 grow morris vision planned purpose uh general principles generally speaking morris is one of
00:15:17.320 those places you stop for gas on the way from fargo or grand forks or minneapolis if you've
00:15:23.100 gone on that drive from winnipeg over the weekend vision community pillars ah complete community
00:15:30.940 here it is all right morris will be comprised of safe and active streets
00:15:37.020 it's a town of 2 000 people for goodness sakes and blocks that offer various types of housing
00:15:44.440 that welcome all current and future residents oh let's remember that our premier wab canoe here
00:15:50.720 in manitoba has agreed to welcome 8 000 refugees in the coming weeks or months where are they
00:15:57.380 going to go this might be one of their locations smart responsible growth and development will be
00:16:04.260 encouraged by the town from intensifying and building up main street to establishing new
00:16:08.780 types of residents across town new types of residences what are they talking about oh yeah
00:16:14.320 right those 600 square foot condominiums that everybody is so scared of but does nothing about
00:16:20.300 with a common vision for the future the community will guide development in a manner that maximizes
00:16:25.780 the use of existing infrastructure and municipal resources a balance between new development and
00:16:31.740 redevelopment will ensure a more diverse range of housing options are provided that enable long-term
00:16:38.240 residents or returning residents to age in place while allowing new households to take root in the
00:16:43.140 community. So they do use the catchphrases. Now, this is a 77-page report, obviously. We're not
00:16:52.600 going to go through the entire thing here, but they do use the United Nations World Economic
00:16:57.920 forum catchphrases diversity equity sustainability all of that so again for you people in the morris
00:17:07.100 area november 7th at your town council offices they're having this gathering and we would like
00:17:14.600 you to go we would like you to go and ask about it and maybe arm yourself with some information
00:17:20.760 first maybe come to la salve this weekend find out exactly what because all of these plans that
00:17:26.560 are being launched across the country, they're the same thing. And where do they come from?
00:17:30.160 Well, look at this. This is the World Economic Forum website, weforum.org. And this story goes
00:17:36.480 back over two years, two and a half years. The surprising stickiness of the 15-minute city.
00:17:42.660 Stickiness? Surprising? Urbanism trends come and go, but the 15-minute city framing of walkable,
00:17:50.660 mixed-use urban development is a lot more than a fad. The historical roots of the 15-minute city
00:17:56.000 are connected deeply with the current moment, one we will be living with for a long time to come.
00:18:01.880 And here it is. As climate change and global conflict cause shocks and stresses at faster
00:18:07.460 intervals and increasing severity, the 15-minute city will become even more critical.
00:18:15.300 So here it is, guys. This is it right here. The obvious yet incomplete answer is the pandemic.
00:18:21.860 Oh, wait a minute. Hold on here. For longtime urbanists, the 15-minute city seemed merely repackaging the historic urban pattern of development, walkable, mixed-use districts, old wine, new bottle, as the saying goes.
00:18:34.480 But for a new framing to ignite a global urbanism movement, clearly there's more going on. The obvious yet incomplete answer is the pandemic.
00:18:42.500 Would Paris' mayor Anne Hidalgo have pushed for progressive urban design without this framing?
00:18:49.440 Undoubtedly.
00:18:50.720 But with COVID-19 and its variants keeping everyone home,
00:18:54.740 the 15-minute city went from a nice-to-have to a rallying cry,
00:19:00.020 meeting all of one's needs within a walking, biking, or transit distance
00:19:03.500 was suddenly a matter of life and death.
00:19:05.440 Oh!
00:19:07.540 Why?
00:19:08.140 Well, I can't speak for any other country on the planet, but what I can tell you is that Justin Trudeau's federal government is offering incentives for people to go green.
00:19:20.480 Corporations, NGOs, anybody across the country, corporately, you get incentives for going green, for trying to go green anyway.
00:19:33.320 And of course, there's the carbon tax as well.
00:19:35.840 So who is behind all of this?
00:19:37.460 Well, it's the Partners for Climate Protection, at least in Canada.
00:19:41.600 And by the way, you guys, as you know, because I've gone over this over and over and over
00:19:45.740 again, but it bears repeating, the Partners for Climate Protection is part of ICLEI, which
00:19:50.780 is part of the United Nations, and this is listed on the website of the Federation of
00:19:55.020 Canadian Municipalities.
00:19:57.580 Partners for Climate Protection, join this national network of 400 plus municipalities
00:20:02.200 and learn how to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and act on climate change.
00:20:07.460 so here they are the partners for climate protection program is a national network of
00:20:13.700 over 400 municipalities with the shared goal of taking action against climate change and reducing
00:20:18.180 local greenhouse gas emissions in order to provide more effective and dedicated support
00:20:22.680 to pcp members across canada so partners for climate protection equals icly equals united
00:20:31.360 Nations. And in every plan that I have seen rolled out across the country,
00:20:38.720 this is involved. The language of ICLEI, the Partners for Climate Protection, and the United
00:20:45.840 Nations has got their hands all over the language of these 2050 plans. Every single one of them,
00:20:54.200 Which which means to me that these local politicians are implementing plans that come from the United Nations and they're not locally grown.
00:21:03.960 They're not thought out locally. Do we even need these plans?
00:21:08.660 Do you need this plan, this sustainable community development plan in a 2000 person community like Morris, Manitoba?
00:21:16.980 And this is even more frightening. Look at this.
00:21:19.320 The Federation of Canadian Municipalities website goes on with the Global Covenant of Mayors in Canada.
00:21:28.120 Covenant? It sounds like some kind of a religious group. A covenant.
00:21:35.200 Global Covenant of Mayors in Canada. Look at them all.
00:21:38.460 The Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate and Energy.
00:21:43.500 All a bunch of wokies there.
00:21:45.240 it's a collaboration between the federation of canadian municipalities icly canada the global
00:21:50.620 covenant of mayor secretariat and the international urban cooperation project supported by funding
00:21:55.800 from the european union the initiative combines two leading domestic climate programs the partners
00:22:02.420 for climate protection program and the building adaptive and resilient communities or bark
00:22:06.420 program with the leading global climate programs together we can further advance canadian local
00:22:12.160 climate action by adding value opportunities and streamlined support for members. It's all about
00:22:19.420 this climate change nonsense, you guys. And what I said about Paliyev earlier, in regards to not
00:22:28.580 being part of the World Economic Forum and the Club of Rome and the Bilderbergs and all of that
00:22:33.200 stuff, I stand by that. But he certainly hasn't done enough to stand in the face of this climate
00:22:39.900 change narrative which has swept the country and john rustat actually did in british columbia and
00:22:46.720 he almost won that election we're going to get into that bc election in just a couple of minutes
00:22:51.340 but look at this global covenant of mayors canada and the showcase cities nanaimo courtney
00:22:57.060 moncton i can't pronounce this euclelet i don't know how to say that fredericton mount pearl
00:23:05.420 New Glasgow, Burlington, Hamilton, Oakville, London, Brampton, Orangeville, Ottawa, Kitchener,
00:23:10.520 Kingston, Windsor, Huron, Kinloss, Riviere, DeLoup, Provost, Laval, Bay St. Paul, Kendiak,
00:23:19.000 Beaconsfield. And that's only the mayors who were pictured here. This covenant continues to grow
00:23:25.780 all across our country. So again, if you want to go to that meeting Thursday, November 7,
00:23:35.280 this will be the second and final public hearing before they pass this nonsense in morris manitoba
00:23:42.820 as for the rest of you who are watching this show from all points across the country
00:23:47.020 i strongly recommend that you type in the because there's a deadline there's an obvious deadline
00:23:53.780 on these plans being implemented or at least rubber stamped by the respective government
00:24:00.020 that they happen to the province they happen to be in and i think that deadline is january the first
00:24:06.180 so if you guys all across the country watching this want to know if your city your town your
00:24:13.980 municipality is somehow involved with the partners for climate protection and the federation of
00:24:18.280 canadian municipalities it's very simple all you need to do is type in the name of your city town
00:24:23.420 or municipality in a google search bar and then write plan 2050 and the plan should come up in
00:24:29.580 one of the first two things, first two items, first or second. It'll be right there, and you
00:24:34.320 can go through it at your leisure. Read through it. Sustainability, inclusion, diversity, all of
00:24:42.980 that stuff will be included. And I've been asking, where do these plans come from? Who's writing
00:24:47.780 these plans? Well, obviously, we know of one architecture firm or city planning firm in
00:24:56.200 Winnipeg that's doing it, but we haven't yet been able to pin down who else is putting these plans
00:25:02.340 out there, but they're all pretty much cookie cutter. It's the same thing. It's like Walmart
00:25:06.220 here versus Walmart there. It might look a little inverted and maybe the pharmacy is a little bit
00:25:11.740 further to the left in this one, but they're pretty much all the same. All of these plans
00:25:17.060 are almost exactly the same. They do not deviate depending upon local needs. That's something else
00:25:23.820 that people need to consider.
00:25:25.760 What happened in the New Brunswick election today?
00:25:27.840 Well, the Conservatives lost.
00:25:29.580 The Liberals won.
00:25:30.740 It looks like the Liberals will form a majority government
00:25:33.300 in New Brunswick,
00:25:35.800 beating one of the only premiers
00:25:38.120 who was standing up for parental rights
00:25:40.120 in the last couple of years.
00:25:42.280 The Liberals are elected in 31 ridings,
00:25:45.520 the PCs get 16,
00:25:46.900 and the Greens somehow managed to get
00:25:48.920 two, two seats in New Brunswick.
00:25:52.960 okay this is the bc election so let's let's go ahead this happened on saturday weird
00:25:59.020 that there's an election on saturday saturday who has an election on a saturday usually it's
00:26:04.380 a weekday right but in bc uh amidst torrential rains and uh horrible uh what do they call it
00:26:11.180 atmospheric rivers it's climate change oh my god go out and vote green because look the whole
00:26:18.660 places fall into pieces. It's incredible. This is what it looked like after all of the votes
00:26:27.620 were counted on Saturday night, late Saturday night. The NDP had claimed 46 ridings before
00:26:34.760 the election. They had 53. So they're down seven. The conservatives had zero MLAs. And now it looks
00:26:43.400 like they've got 45, and the Greens have two. 93 seats in British Columbia, 46 go to the NDP, 45 go
00:26:54.300 to the Conservative Party, and two go to the Greens. So what is this? This means that the NDP, it looks
00:26:59.700 like anyway, depending on recounts, and there will be recounts because there's a couple of writings
00:27:04.600 for you people who don't vote. I mean, come on. There's a couple of writings that are within 100
00:27:10.280 votes and one writing i'll show you in just a second you're gonna go what really oh if only
00:27:15.360 i'd voted anyway there's still 49 000 votes still 49 000 votes yet to be counted their mail-in
00:27:25.100 ballots apparently or out of province or whatever they are and they didn't get counted i don't know
00:27:30.080 for some reason on saturday night but the recount doesn't start until this coming weekend so we have
00:27:35.800 to wait all week with this hung election and then finally they're going to do a recount now look at
00:27:42.280 this this is the writing here you're going to go up here this writing right here one defuca malahat
00:27:50.500 which is the southernmost writing on vancouver island dana lajeunesse of the ndp is leading in
00:27:57.980 that riding, hasn't won, leading in that riding by 20, 2-0 votes. So they're going to be recounting
00:28:06.900 that. Obviously, that's an automatic recount. And there's another one, I think, where is it?
00:28:12.340 Here? It's somewhere closer to the interior that the NDP are leading in by less than 100 votes as
00:28:20.240 well. So it's quite possible, although doubtful, but possible that somehow the conservatives win
00:28:26.040 these two ridings and swing it in their favor, and they'd be up 47-46 over the NDP. But again,
00:28:34.120 the Greens still have those two seats. So that government would be falling in about three months
00:28:38.460 time. We don't know if the NDP are going to be able to form this coalition government with the
00:28:44.400 Greens. If they do, they'll have the majority and be able to govern for the next four years,
00:28:49.960 unimpeded by the conservatives. However, the conservatives have definitely strengthened
00:28:54.660 their position considerably in British Columbia. So let's have a look at this map here. Look at
00:28:59.180 this. I've always thought the BC looked kind of like a boot. Look at it. Anyway, it's mostly blue,
00:29:06.400 right? So except for this particular area here, what is that? In the Kootenays. For some reason
00:29:15.240 in the Kootenays, they're voting orange. But look at this. Most of the NDP votes happen on the coast
00:29:20.820 or on the island so you've got here here all up here
00:29:26.100 north coast i think the sunshine coast yeah voted ndp as well which really surprises me
00:29:34.220 because that's like a rich part of bc north coast we got one blue riding here on vancouver
00:29:42.120 island north island so while we're sitting here talking about municipal governments in 15 minute
00:29:48.700 cities and all of that to me this looks like an incredibly divided province on ideological lines
00:29:58.160 don't you think i mean if it wasn't for all of these people who live down here
00:30:04.400 in the lower mainland and on the island and mostly the lower mainland
00:30:07.980 the conservative party would have won that election
00:30:12.840 but this in the interior in eastern dc south the north definitely they want to get rid of the
00:30:24.620 marxists would it be worth talking to your municipal leaders about possibly i mean this
00:30:32.480 is untenable and and this is a massive province with six million people in it right there's six
00:30:39.160 million people in British Columbia, nearly. But it's run from here. Do you know how far it is,
00:30:47.540 a drive to Kelowna from Vancouver? I think it's about six to seven hours.
00:30:54.520 Or maybe it's longer than that. I can't quite, it's been a while since I've made that drive.
00:30:59.420 Maybe it's a little bit long, maybe on the Coquihalla now it's six to seven hours. It's a
00:31:03.300 long ways away it's like you're living in a different province and according to this you are
00:31:10.300 living in a different province what about these people up here everything that happens in british
00:31:16.460 columbia it's all about vancouver greater vancouver in the island i think that these people deserve
00:31:24.240 their own constituency of some kind whether it's joining alberta or whether it's creating their own
00:31:30.740 their own province or territory or whatever it is, because you're talking about, you know,
00:31:38.240 Peace River, for example, here being represented by a government that was voted in mostly from
00:31:44.440 people in Vancouver. That's completely unfair. It's centralized governments, which is something
00:31:51.500 that we have been railing against for quite some time. Centralization is no good when you're
00:31:57.840 talking about a very, very large area and large population. We have a new contender for leader
00:32:07.640 of the Liberal Party of Canada. Speaking of BC, former BC Premier Christy Clark says she's
00:32:15.280 interested in replacing Trudeau. The prime minister decides he wants to step down. And of course,
00:32:21.240 he's going to have to step down of his own free will, his own volition. He's deserved that. He's
00:32:26.660 that she says let's go ahead and read this story from the left-wing uh marxist corporate publicly
00:32:33.060 corporate cbc there's christy clark right there as trudeau faces a rebellion from his own liberal
00:32:38.680 mps in caucus this week and by the way that caucus is meeting on wednesday morning like they always
00:32:44.840 do you know they have their weekly caucus meetings trudeau by the way wasn't in question period today
00:32:49.880 i wonder why that is i wonder if most of those caucus members were in question period or if they
00:32:56.280 weren't, or what they're doing, how they're plotting, scheming, planning. Can you imagine
00:32:59.880 all the intrigue and espionage that's going on right now in Ottawa? Liberal MPs looking at each
00:33:05.440 other funny. So Barry, how do you feel about her? I can't hear you. I'm sorry, what?
00:33:15.580 Look, look, look, she's talking to so-and-so who's so-and-so and so-and-so. There's a lot
00:33:20.960 of finger pointing, backstabbing. It's like a game of Survivor with 153 MPs in the Liberal Party
00:33:28.040 right now. It's actually quite funny. Former BC Premier Christy Clark is suggesting she would be
00:33:33.820 interested in replacing Trudeau should he decide to step down. In a statement sent to Radio Canada
00:33:39.740 in French, Clark wrote that she was open to returning to public life and would like to be
00:33:46.080 a part of the discussion about the future direction of the Liberal Party and the country.
00:33:49.560 She's 58. She served as premier in BC from 2011 to 2017. Also wrote that Canadians are tired
00:33:56.000 of politicians who think that fear-mongering and divisiveness will win an election and gain power.
00:34:04.800 She added, they also understand that polarized political views are standing in the way of the
00:34:09.980 solutions we need. According to Christy Clark, voters want leaders who will unite our country
00:34:15.360 with practical solutions to the tough challenges we face,
00:34:18.640 the cost of living, the housing crisis,
00:34:20.940 wait till you see the last line,
00:34:22.540 the need to strengthen our healthcare system
00:34:24.400 and the importance of fighting climate change.
00:34:30.060 I'm sorry, Christy, your time has expired.
00:34:32.940 It was nice knowing you.
00:34:37.720 So what she's trying to do is peel away
00:34:41.360 conservative voters from Pierre Polyev
00:34:45.220 but the second that she brings that up that climate change thing people go
00:34:49.240 i'm sorry but i'm not interested in listening to you anymore because i i don't believe that
00:34:56.480 she quite understands all of these politicians you see they live in a bubble they don't live
00:35:01.400 amongst us they're not with us they don't have to go through the same workaday experiences that we do
00:35:09.000 they don't have to scrimp and save they don't have to worry about how much money is in their
00:35:14.220 pension, if they can cover all their bills this month, if they're going to be able to put food on
00:35:18.040 the table this weekend, they don't live that way. And so that detaches them from the psyche of
00:35:24.380 people that do, which is the vast majority of us. And that's the problem with politicians.
00:35:32.520 Do they make too much money? I think they do. How do we attract good people to run?
00:35:38.880 Well, it's about wanting to do well for your country and not for yourself.
00:35:45.760 So if you gave a politician, whether it's a federal one or a provincial one,
00:35:50.540 I think the federal MPs, they make $190,000 on top of cabinet appointments and committee appointments and all of that stuff.
00:35:59.940 Some of the most of them are going to be over $200,000 a year.
00:36:03.280 That, to most of us, is completely out of touch.
00:36:07.880 astronomical i'm sorry how much you make and then there's a lot of it that's tax deductible
00:36:13.420 and they get some pretty wild pensions as well depending on how long they've been in there
00:36:20.280 so when you're detached like that from real life i don't believe there's any real way
00:36:26.880 unless of course you suddenly become poor to get back into the swing of the average canadian psyche
00:36:34.100 no matter where that canadian happens to live whether it's british columbia saskatchewan
00:36:38.900 ontario new brunswick it doesn't matter because we're all feeling that pinch right now some of
00:36:45.380 us more than others but we're all feeling that pinch clark's comments come as trudeau prepares
00:36:51.760 for a heated meeting with his caucus on wednesday some mps are being asked to sign their names to
00:36:57.260 what amounts to a pledge to stand together and calling for blah blah blah blah all right so i'm
00:37:01.000 not going to bother reading the rest of that story to you guys. What I will say is this.
00:37:06.560 There is no way that somebody like Christy Clark would come out and say, yeah, I'd run for
00:37:11.780 the leadership of the Liberal Party of Canada, if Justin Trudeau decided to step down,
00:37:16.500 if he's not planning to step down. We hear all kinds of cabinet ministers right now
00:37:24.900 are planning and scheming behind the scenes for their own leadership runs. They're getting their
00:37:30.260 people together, they're building teams, and they want to be able to take over that leadership.
00:37:36.780 They want it. They want it so bad they can taste it. But they'll never publicly tell you that.
00:37:42.300 Well, wait a minute. Christy Clark did today. And who else did today? We've been hearing
00:37:46.140 for how long about Mark Carney maybe throwing his hat in the ring to be the liberal leader? Well,
00:37:52.300 here's the story from the Western Standard. Carney intends to run for the liberal leadership.
00:37:57.020 it's the headline former bank of canada governor mark carbon tax world economic forum carney
00:38:04.240 confirmed his intention to enter politics though he remains vague on specifics
00:38:09.800 well if he's vague now you think he's going to be any more clear when he gets elected if he gets
00:38:17.940 elected which i doubt carney who has been advising trudeau on economic matters told a fellow liberal
00:38:25.500 that you can't map these things out
00:38:27.260 when asked about the timing and nature
00:38:28.960 of his political aspirations.
00:38:30.580 Meanwhile, there's speculation
00:38:31.820 that cabinet ministers Francois-Philippe Champagne
00:38:35.420 and Melanie Jolie,
00:38:37.760 who was accused last week in question period
00:38:40.040 in the House of Commons by Pierre Polly
00:38:41.560 of getting her team together
00:38:43.500 and stabbing Prime Minister Trudeau in the back.
00:38:47.720 These two have been discussing
00:38:49.080 potential leadership campaigns with their colleagues
00:38:51.520 and Christy Clark as well.
00:38:53.200 So there you go.
00:38:54.600 the sharks are circling there is blood in the water and i predict unless hmm
00:39:01.720 now this is interesting i i don't know i don't know
00:39:09.900 bruto's ego seems far too large his hubris far too extensive to step down at the behest of
00:39:19.420 30 or 40 or 50 lowly backbench liberal MPs. He's Justin Trudeau. He stands apart.
00:39:30.500 He is the savior. This is all going on in his mind every day, all the time, right?
00:39:38.360 So will he step down willingly? Or are these people taking a huge chance, the Melanie Jolie's
00:39:45.740 and the Francois Philippe Champagnes and the Christy Clarks and the Mark Carney's of the world
00:39:49.560 by suggesting that they're going to be running for the liberal leadership, even though there
00:39:55.060 is no official liberal leadership contest going on at the moment. It's all very interesting.
00:40:04.440 All of this to say that if they do have, and they're going to have to have, a leadership
00:40:10.920 convention, it's going to be divisive, and it's going to be ugly, and it's going to splinter the
00:40:16.560 party even more than it's splintered right now, which means you can bet that they will lose even
00:40:24.100 more seats than we thought they were going to, which to me is absolutely amazing. Jordan Peterson
00:40:32.520 is considering suing Justin Trudeau. Remember what Trudeau said last week in the Foreign
00:40:38.620 Interference Commission. He said it in French. And I think he says offensive things in French
00:40:43.800 because he doesn't want the rest of us to hear it. But listen to this.
00:40:49.700 Messages that were transmitted or amplified in that respect. On page seven, there are some
00:40:55.880 screenshots that were shown by the researcher. And could we zoom
00:41:03.700 so that we can see the titles. I know there are quite a few of them there, but I'll read
00:41:11.120 a few of them. In the middle, Canada's Freedom Convoy has perfectly exposed legacy media's
00:41:16.420 conceited bias.
00:41:17.600 The Freedom Convoy is not up to the job, or MEP accuses Canada of human rights violations.
00:41:24.020 The Freedom Convoy is over, but these messages are still being sent nowadays.
00:41:36.020 Yes, we have seen that anti-vax messages during the convoy and during the pandemic were amplified
00:41:47.780 by Russian propaganda, especially in the media of the right, and it was continued by message.
00:41:58.920 So he's calling me and everybody, and I don't think at the time there were many shows like
00:42:06.280 this, there are now popping up all over YouTube, but he was calling me and everybody else Russian
00:42:14.680 funded, like we've been getting money from RT Russia today, which I don't think you can
00:42:20.640 even get in Canada. And he has no proof to back up any of these claims, but let's continue.
00:42:34.280 The people who were sharing anti-vax messages, it doesn't mean that there weren't people
00:42:38.180 who were legitimately anti-vax, but that was hugely amplified by Russian propaganda.
00:42:46.320 And once Ukraine was invaded, we saw a lot of those channels become pro-Putin propaganda channels.
00:42:56.640 And as I said, we've recently seen that RT is currently funding bloggers and other YouTube personalities at the right,
00:43:15.200 such as Jordan Peterson, other names that are well-known, and Tucker Carlson as well.
00:43:21.240 All right. So we're going to we're going to leave it there. That's all we need as we go back to this story here. Jordan Peterson denies Trudeau's claim that he's funded by Russia and is considering a lawsuit.
00:43:34.460 he's pushing back peterson is against trudeau's unsubstantiated claim that he's received funding
00:43:46.240 from the russian propaganda outlet russia today i don't think that's a propaganda outlet i think
00:43:54.020 they just deliver the news from their side of things like any media company does here in canada
00:44:03.040 or in the united states do you honestly think that there's going to be a network
00:44:08.040 in russia that is pro-ukraine i don't think they'd last too long and i'm not talking about
00:44:14.960 being bombed i'm just talking about bombing wouldn't go over so well with the russian people
00:44:20.280 uh so peterson says he's considering suing trudeau for defaming him despite the burdensome
00:44:30.200 process that filing a lawsuit requires we don't need to tell you what happened um because we just
00:44:37.660 saw it in the video so neither peterson nor tucker were named in the indictment that indictment
00:44:44.960 of um tenant media that was apparently taking money from russia or russia today
00:44:52.240 but that's only one lauren chen and her husband and then unwittingly i think it was dave rubin
00:45:01.740 and maybe tim pool but i i can't be sure but that was unwitting and rubin has already released a
00:45:11.660 statement so it says so is tim pool about all of that nonsense so basically what they're doing
00:45:16.480 what Trudeau and his cronies are doing is blowing up nothing from nothing. Nothing from nothing
00:45:22.600 leaves nothing. And yet he's under oath or affirmed, sitting on the stand testifying in
00:45:30.440 front of Canadians and committee last week, lying through his teeth, not just once, but several
00:45:35.660 times over, knowing he can never be proven that he's lying. Well, in this case, this was a
00:45:43.080 subjective lie as opposed to an actual concrete factual lie that he told regarding conservative
00:45:49.700 elected officials being on the list the list of possible foreign interference candidates that
00:45:58.120 list of 12 or 11 that we've been hearing so much about for the past year and a half
00:46:01.980 we'll never be able to prove that he's wrong or lying because we can't see those documents
00:46:06.800 they're classified and only those with top secret codes can look at them and that excludes Pierre
00:46:12.780 Polyev, by the way, he refuses to get those secret passes and sign that NDA. But anyway,
00:46:20.280 in response, Peterson told the National Post that Trudeau made a false allegation against him and
00:46:25.420 that the prime minister should have done his bloody homework. It's a very serious accusation.
00:46:30.940 You should have done your bloody homework. And if you're going to make accusations,
00:46:34.680 you should have at least got them roped. I don't think it's reasonable for the prime minister of
00:46:39.740 the country to basically label me as a traitor and i don't find it amusing
00:46:44.720 that's that's my best jordan peterson what do you think is it passable
00:46:52.780 i got dragged into this i don't know because i haven't been implicated in that even peripherally
00:47:00.240 but i don't think trudeau is informed enough to understand what the hell is going on period
00:47:05.960 but certainly not in the broader social media space i hope he does sue trudeau
00:47:12.800 peterson's one you know hesitation is oh man a lawsuit i don't want to have to go through a
00:47:19.160 lawsuit there's so many lawsuits so many it's just expensive and time consuming and soul consuming
00:47:26.460 gut-wrenching i wonder what the statute of limitations are on filing a lawsuit like that
00:47:34.860 I would wait until after Trudeau either steps down as prime minister or gets his ass voted out, because then he doesn't have power over all the mechanisms that can shut you down, including judges.
00:47:48.680 And speaking of government, we have another story here for you.
00:47:52.660 This is Jamil Javani.
00:47:56.300 He's the conservative MP from Oshawa.
00:48:00.700 Grilling Catherine Tate, the CEO of the CBC, over bonuses.
00:48:04.580 This was today, and this is good. Let's watch.
00:48:07.860 I'd just ask if you agree with a statement that's been attributed to you, and I'm going to quote,
00:48:12.920 the defund narrative has picked up momentum, especially as it relates to CBC television.
00:48:19.360 Did that come from you?
00:48:20.940 Yes.
00:48:21.460 Okay. So that was reported last week by the National Post from an email they obtained from you,
00:48:26.580 and I believe in January 2024. Is that correct?
00:48:29.960 I presume so, yes.
00:48:31.520 Okay. So when you look at the concerns over your expenses, right, which I think legitimate concerns over where your personal vacation time ends and where your billable time begins, when you see the concerns over news stories related to your bonuses that are going out and bonuses you may receive or executives receive the $18 million that we've been talking about today, do you think any of that might contribute to what you yourself have observed as a growing movement to defund the CBC?
00:48:59.720 I absolutely do not.
00:49:01.560 Why is that?
00:49:02.600 Because I believe that having experienced now the third appearance at this committee,
00:49:08.540 I would say that there is a clear effort on the part of members of this committee
00:49:15.340 to create, to vilify, and to discredit me and to discredit the organization.
00:49:21.860 Not one question has been asked, excuse me,
00:49:24.560 not one question has been asked about the accomplishments of the public broadcaster
00:49:29.320 over the last six years and how we have served unions.
00:49:31.860 Well, I think our liberal colleagues have asked you some of those questions,
00:49:34.600 so I think that's not a fair representation of your time here today.
00:49:37.660 But let's go back to something that our colleague, Mr. Koteau, asked you earlier.
00:49:41.280 You referred to KPIs, key performance indicators.
00:49:44.460 Would the idea that a growing movement in our country would like to defund your organization
00:49:49.460 be weighed into an analysis of key performance indicators
00:49:53.360 and determining whether the discretionary portions of the bonuses that you've acknowledged,
00:49:57.740 there is a percentage that is discretionary and not contractually obligated that those percentages
00:50:02.940 that you might consider hmm if people don't like what we're doing if people don't trust us if
00:50:07.420 people would like the government to take money away from our bloated organization maybe we
00:50:12.220 shouldn't be spending more of their money than we have to is that so that was kind of a wordy
00:50:18.460 question for him saying hey listen don't you think if people don't want you guys around and there's a
00:50:22.780 growing movement of people who want you to find it maybe you'd think twice about how much money
00:50:27.180 you're spending and how frivolously you're spending it cross your mind in analyzing the
00:50:32.320 kpis we do not take into consideration political wins or influences in our in determining our
00:50:39.940 business metrics you would you would call it a political reaction for the average canadian to
00:50:46.040 hear that you're doling out 18 million dollars in bonuses that you're billing the taxpayer for
00:50:51.480 your time in paris while on a personal vacation that's a political concern that the average
00:50:56.320 canadian wouldn't have a pure interest in that based purely on the fact that they are giving you
00:51:00.400 their hard-earned money through taxes i'm not sure i understand wait a minute wait a minute oh you
00:51:06.340 gotta go look get the look on his face we're gonna go back like he looks like a sesame street
00:51:13.280 muppet there through taxes i'm not sure i understand what you're getting at on this
00:51:19.000 question you're you're you're trying to marginalize legitimate concern so jamil you confused her there
00:51:26.080 remember she's arrogant thick and lives in one of those bubbles one of those above the crowd bubbles
00:51:35.680 you have to somehow speak to her in her own language abuse of taxpayer dollars and any
00:51:40.720 accountability that we are trying as parliamentarians to introduce here and you're saying
00:51:45.680 it's purely political and what i'm saying is the big beautiful growing movement to defund the cbc
00:51:51.200 is not a purely political movement but it is a matter of taxpayer accountability can you not
00:51:55.440 acknowledge that i will not uh madam chair i will not be accused of abusing taxpayer dollars i'm
00:52:02.400 sorry for the record we have managed our budget extremely carefully we were facing i don't think
00:52:11.120 the canadian people would agree with you barney will you allow okay that's that's that so she
00:52:17.440 She took a vacation, went to France on our dime, and then has the nerve to say that she has managed the CBC public dollars responsibly.
00:52:28.980 Wow, that's kind of interesting, don't you think?
00:52:32.200 We've got a lot to talk about, so we're going to move on.
00:52:34.120 By the way, we have some stuff on the American election and Donald Trump and Donald's and Kamala losing her mind a little bit at a rally over the weekend coming up in the extension.
00:52:47.060 for all access pass holders after nine o'clock central tonight on shadow davis.com we're going
00:52:53.340 to try and squeeze everything in before that 65 percent of canadians say there are too many
00:52:59.700 immigrants 65 percent wow that's insane oh and i looked earlier today you know how you you get
00:53:14.580 your head up to do something and you do it and then something distracts you at the last second
00:53:18.740 and you go oh what was that and then you forget what you're doing that's what happened to me today
00:53:22.220 when i was looking at how many indian immigrants have come to canada in the last few years i think
00:53:29.720 we're talking about 1.7 million in the last three years from india and they're coming to canada
00:53:38.640 because of better universities.
00:53:44.180 What I find, no, I'm not going to,
00:53:46.400 I'm not going to get into that right now.
00:53:49.680 That's a topic for another time
00:53:51.620 and probably the extension to talk about immigration
00:53:54.620 because, you know, it's a very touchy subject.
00:53:57.840 And the reason for that is because
00:53:59.460 anything you say can be soundbited,
00:54:03.100 hacked off and made to look racist,
00:54:05.660 even though you don't mean it that way.
00:54:08.640 But ultimately, you're worried about your country losing its way,
00:54:13.640 losing its culture, losing its feel, losing itself.
00:54:21.500 How many people yearn for the days where Canada was Canada?
00:54:27.680 Yeah, we accepted everybody.
00:54:30.200 We still accept everybody.
00:54:32.060 But the problem is that you've got a cultural fabric
00:54:34.900 that is wrapped throughout this country.
00:54:36.880 And I can't help but thinking what Trudeau said that was reported, I believe, only in the New York Times before he was even prime minister, and that is Canada will be the world's first post-nation state.
00:54:49.880 Canada does not have a recognizable identity.
00:54:52.640 It's what he said.
00:54:53.360 I'm paraphrasing.
00:54:54.140 I'm not exactly quoting word for word.
00:55:01.100 And when he said it, I remember reading that going, what is he even talking about?
00:55:06.680 What does that even mean? Of course, now we all know. Trying to transform our country into something else. And you can see it in the rhetoric of the Liberal Party if you have an account on X. And if you do, follow me there at Shadow Davis. Follow me on all the social media, by the way, and get this out there. Like and share to as many people as you possibly can.

00:55:33.180 If you're watching on Twitch or X, get Telegram.
00:55:36.260 It's on Telegram tonight.
00:55:37.780 It's on Rumble as well.
00:55:39.080 Share it.
00:55:39.520 Get it out to as many people as we possibly can.
00:55:41.940 It helps me.
00:55:42.440 It helps the station grow.
00:55:43.820 It helps the show grow.
00:55:47.140 We're talking about immigration and, you know, it seems like, yeah, I mean, the country
00:55:58.680 has changed. They want us to change. They're transformed. Transformational change is the
00:56:05.360 rhetoric that liberal MPs are using all over social media. And I don't recall ever voting for
00:56:10.520 that transformational change. Did you ever vote for a candidate to be transformed into whatever
00:56:19.440 this is now? And again, I have always said, and I will always maintain that I have nothing against
00:56:26.720 people. I don't care where they're from or who they sleep with or who they pray to. It does not
00:56:32.840 matter to me. Are you a good person? Are you a bad person? That's how I judge people on
00:56:36.940 the context of their character, not on their skin color or anything else. But when you bring in
00:56:47.420 a certain culture of people en masse to a country and they cloister themselves,
00:56:56.720 They ghettoize themselves into their own little communities, never, ever having to really get into the Canadian culture at all because they've developed their own little Indias, technically, across our country.
00:57:12.100 How is that diversity?
00:57:16.540 And how, then, can you say diversity is our strength when there is no diversity?
00:57:21.200 It's just a bunch of them over here, a bunch of them over here, us over here, them.
00:57:25.080 there's no mixing
00:57:27.400 there's no melting pot
00:57:28.680 and that
00:57:31.360 needs to change
00:57:32.880 but when there's so many coming in so quickly
00:57:35.580 there's no way
00:57:37.260 to direct that
00:57:38.220 and that's
00:57:41.360 I believe why 65%
00:57:43.520 of Canadians are saying
00:57:45.340 there are too many immigrants according to this poll
00:57:47.260 new Léger poll
00:57:49.600 this sentiment
00:57:51.260 by the way has been steadily on the rise
00:57:53.200 since 2019. The Leger survey published last week, last Wednesday, was conducted for the Association
00:57:58.840 of Canadian Studies and revealed a rather dramatic national consensus on the issue.
00:58:03.840 Well, just over a fifth of respondents said they thought Canada's immigration levels were about
00:58:09.260 the right number, around 2%, and around 2% said there were too few immigrants.
00:58:15.780 65 percent said there are too many the rise in the extent to which canadians believe that there
00:58:25.180 are too many immigrants is continuing and is yet again reached in you height chief executive of
00:58:30.140 acs jack jedwab told the national post virtually no one in canada currently thinks that there are
00:58:35.920 too few immigrants he went on to say the findings were unsurprising given that all recent polling
00:58:41.320 has revealed a persistent and growing dissatisfaction among canadians on the trudeau
00:58:44.960 government's immigration targets. Leger conducted a similar poll in 2019, which found just 35% of
00:58:51.740 Canadians thought there were too many immigrants. Well, 49% thought that it was about the right
00:58:56.640 number. So based upon a poll like this, do you think that maybe, because Polyev is being very,
00:59:03.260 very careful. Pierre Polyev is protecting that lead. And I hope this doesn't work out like a
00:59:10.520 hockey game or a football game where your team is leading by three touchdowns going into the
00:59:16.620 fourth quarter and you kind of let up, you take your foot off the gas, you start playing kitty
00:59:20.880 bar the door and you stop doing the aggressive stuff. I'm certainly hoping that Polyev looks
00:59:27.540 at that study and says 65% of people think there's too many immigrants. All right, I can hammer on
00:59:33.280 this now because that would go along with everything else he's talking about right that
00:59:40.680 particular policy he talks about crime he talks about homelessness well that's all at least in
00:59:46.620 large part tied to the fact that there are too many people coming across our borders legally
00:59:51.380 and illegally mostly illegally or they're overstaying their permits so maybe he steps up
00:59:57.980 And he says, hey, we're going to have to slow this down or stop it.
01:00:01.920 And what I would do, I mean, if you've got 65 percent of people in this country who think there's too many immigrants, what I would do if I were running and I'm not, but I would say, you know what?
01:00:12.760 We need a two year moratorium.
01:00:14.340 we need two years to clean up what we've got going on right now and we are barring any of this
01:00:21.920 immigration or any of these uh protected uh you know asylum seekers refugee none of that for two
01:00:31.260 years we are barring that because we've got too much to clean up here we've got people on wait
01:00:36.160 lists that last for 11 years in the and illegals running around in this country we don't even know
01:00:41.960 how many. They say anywhere between 20,000 and 500,000. They don't know. And that was a story
01:00:50.740 that came out a few months ago, and still Paliyev said nothing, probably based upon the fact that
01:00:55.580 the polls were slow. One thing about polls is they reflect the feeling of people, generally
01:01:00.920 speaking, six months ago. That's how it works. It's not right now in the moment, because people
01:01:07.420 are completely clued out what you're going to find when i talk about the number of people who
01:01:14.120 don't vote in elections let's say or who go and vote but they're voting for a color and not a
01:01:19.100 person they have no idea what any of the issues are they just go because they're supposed to go
01:01:22.780 because their mom and dad told them to go or their husband or wife told them to go
01:01:25.920 they're clued out they don't pick up on any of this stuff until they've had a good sit-down talk
01:01:33.360 over beers with their buddies. And that could come two months from now, three months from now,
01:01:37.480 two weeks from now. But on their own right now, maybe their lives are too busy. Maybe they just
01:01:42.560 don't care enough to find out more about what's going on in our country right now. But ultimately
01:01:47.000 speaking, and I found this with radio ratings as well, when I worked in the corporate media years
01:01:52.000 ago, that the ratings reflected what was going on and the polls reflect what's going on six months
01:01:58.360 ago not right now maybe three months depending upon the subject but if that's what's going on
01:02:06.680 or what was going on six months ago imagine how people are feeling now i believe excuse me that
01:02:11.880 number is probably higher now and a poll six months from now will confirm that than it was
01:02:19.680 six months ago because of all the videos people are seeing online which is something trudeau has
01:02:24.960 been trying desperately to shut down for the past couple of years but he's got different problems
01:02:29.580 now that's it you guys for the social media part of the show tonight thank you for being here
