00:10:14.500municipal plan this plan 2050 in terms of the board releasing another public meeting date
00:10:22.420no the board was required to do two public meetings and as you know they did one at the
00:10:28.020can add in in winnipeg i think that was in june or july and then they attempted a second one in
00:10:32.520neverville and they had allowed for about 250 people and somewhere between 500 and a thousand
00:10:38.700showed up so they canceled that and then um and they have to give by the way they have to give a
00:10:45.56040-day notice for another one according to the planning act and so they haven't announced a new
00:10:51.200one yet um our premier of manitoba has said that they're going to they're looking at new um a new
00:10:58.420law or a revision to the law that will allow um municipalities to opt out which is an interesting
00:11:05.800thing because the legislation itself includes already that the minister can opt different
00:11:13.540municipalities out at their discretion. So I'm not sure what's going on there. It's an interesting
00:11:18.960little thing. Maybe our government wasn't aware of that was in the Planning Act already. I don't
00:11:24.840know. Well, he said even a month ago, he said, well, you know what? I believe this was one of
00:11:30.120the nights that you and Ken Lee were on the show where he came out right after we were done. And
00:11:34.200He said, well, we're going to throw in a Freedom Act, which denotes to me that there was no freedom to begin with.
00:11:41.020So if you have to legislate freedom, this is not such a good thing at all.
00:11:45.820Well, it is interesting. And you're absolutely right. He did say that.
00:11:49.180But like I said, in the Planning Act itself, it says that the minister by regulation can either expand or contract the municipal region, the WMR, the Winnipeg Municipal Region.
00:12:00.620so they didn't need another act they didn't need to revise the legislation they only needed the
00:12:06.020minister only needed to to uh set out a regulation so i'm not sure what they're doing there maybe
00:12:10.840they're doing more um but we don't know yet there hasn't been any formal announcements that i'm aware
00:12:15.760of and you know what i before we get into all of the details that are surrounding this and i know
00:12:20.640that you've gone through this plan uh and i've heard they're rewriting it have you got any
00:12:25.620verification of that we we have secondarily got people who went to the wmr office which by the
00:12:32.640way is very difficult to find in the bottom of a parkade and near pull apart um and and the person
00:12:39.500that answered the door said that you know they were they were in limbo right now to find out
00:12:44.340what they were going to do and um as you know as you as you've alluded to you know we've done a lot
00:12:51.800to work on this plan and it isn't a plan it doesn't need to be rewritten it needs to be
00:12:55.900thrown out and we need to start again and you know this the plan actually started
00:13:01.82010 or 15 years ago and and the purpose of it was to streamline the planning process and to make
00:13:10.180manitoba more attractive for business and somehow they've lost their way you know they they've
00:13:16.760embraced all this un propaganda and the and all kinds of different green things that don't make
00:13:23.040any sense and it's amazing how they lost their way but they really need to throw this this thing out
00:13:29.300which really isn't a plan and they need to start from scratch and and that unfortunately that
00:13:34.960includes throwing out the people who are responsible for this thing yeah but who's that
00:13:39.560do we even know oh man we've got a list i'm glad you know when it comes to the the board members
00:13:46.500of the winnipeg metropolitan region we know who they are but do they because you know that whole
00:13:51.700interaction with the chairman of the board i forget his name now uh michael moore michael
00:13:57.760yeah he had an interview with the xcbc reporter there marianne cloac a couple of months ago
00:14:05.800in neverville and she said right there you've got some un uh literature right in the plan and she
00:14:13.880said, well, he said, have you read the planet? She said, yes, have you? He said, yes. And then
00:14:19.520he went and said, now you're just making stuff up to her. And I thought that was interesting
00:14:24.600because she had it right there and he wouldn't even look at it. And then he just brushed right
00:14:30.480by her like she didn't exist. And so I'm thinking to myself, these people either don't know because
00:14:37.300they haven't read it or they do know and they don't want to talk about it because it needs to
00:14:43.060be secret it can't get out there because if people find out they're going to reject it right
00:14:47.780well you know you brought up a really really interesting point uh the people that are
00:14:53.840responsible i mean we don't know i mean look at i'm looking on my screen right now and i have a
00:14:59.420list from the plan itself from the plan 2050 that lists the the team the wmr team former wmr team
00:15:06.920staff members and then it's got with support from there's a whole list of people there
00:15:10.500Who actually wrote this thing? I don't know. But it is so full of United Nations climate change issues. It's full of spirituality issues. It's full of private land use restrictions. It's full of bureaucracy.
00:15:30.560see uh wait a minute when you say spirituality issues you're not talking about christianity
00:15:36.520oh no no no no no i'm not as a matter of fact there the the um after our self or we did a
00:15:43.920presentation in stone and um stonewall two weeks ago and i brought this up and and that was one of
00:15:49.880the one of the main things that the local paper um uh focused on and what i was talking about was
00:15:56.220right on page um i've got it on my other screen so forgive me for looking across at my other
00:16:02.600screens but they talk about um all kinds of uh of of indigenous spirituality which of course i
00:16:11.440respect everybody has the right to that but why would you write in one particular group of people's
00:16:17.580spirituality and their religious beliefs into a legal document that's supposed to be used to do
00:16:24.000planning so for instance why isn't it about jewish people why is it about muslim people or christian
00:16:29.840people but there's a whole there's a whole number of pages in this thing about um the the the
00:16:36.000spiritual beliefs of the first nations peoples and how that's going to be implemented into the plan
00:16:42.900and that's just not appropriate well it's the cultural marxism that i've been talking about
00:16:49.140all week on the show that's been kind of a running theme and um of course it's the flavor of the week
00:16:55.180the first nations issues and the truth and reconciliation right now so i'm sure that's one
00:16:59.860of the reasons they wrote it in but also the cultural marxism in the united states i'm sure
00:17:04.040these plans are littered with black lives matter propaganda the same as up here it's littered with
00:17:10.120every child matters propaganda which is the same propaganda it's all critical race theory
00:17:14.360So now we've got the U.N. SDGs in there, the Sustainable Development Goals in this plan, and we've got critical race theory. That's fantastic. I've got to know who wrote this thing.
00:17:25.720well they've got everything in it they even have they even quote a joe biden political uh motto of
00:17:32.660build back better which by the way is not really from biden it's from the un as well but biden uh
00:17:39.700not that we're in canada are following that too closely but it's interesting there's a little bit
00:17:44.620of everything in there did you not see justin trudeau and uh at the time the uk prime minister
00:17:50.440was boris johnson they were all talking about build back better and some genius out there put
00:17:54.720spliced all of them together saying we will build back better and there was other western leaders
00:18:01.020in there saying the exact same thing how often have we ever seen that in history oh my goodness
00:18:07.280you know it's becoming popular now for uh talk shows to put splice together all the news reports
00:18:13.940on just about any topic of the day and what they'll do is they'll show you um cbc ctv global cnn
00:19:17.980In Dauphin, it's called the Active Transportation Plan.
00:19:22.280In the city of Winnipeg, other than the WMR, they also have a master transportation plan that they're going through the process of passing right now.
00:19:32.040And it's got all kinds of this stuff in it.
00:19:34.360UN, 15-Minute City, you name it, it's got it.
00:19:37.840Brandon is calling theirs the Healthy City Plan, the 2050 Healthy City Plan.
00:19:43.500And so that's what I was talking about off the top of the show you guys watching, is that you can, you know, type the name of your city or town.
00:19:51.600Because as Ken just pointed out, they're going for towns as small as like Dauphin is 8,000 people.
00:19:55.980I know they're doing this in Roblin as well.
00:25:35.400But even then, apparently these RM members or council members and mayors, Reeves and just counselors in some cases who are part of the Winnipeg Metro Region Board have been instructed by the chairman of the board to not discuss any of this with their fellow council members.
00:25:55.300And I find that absolutely astounding.
00:25:57.540so it's no surprise that these elected officials didn't know unless they happened to see my show
00:26:02.720one night or come across manitobastrongertogether.ca right well you're right but you know
00:26:09.900i i don't i'm not as perhaps i'm not as nice a person as you are but i don't give them a pass
00:26:16.260we're paying them and we're giving them our trust to represent us and they should have been asking
00:26:23.200questions and if they didn't know what was going on they should have come to us and said listen
00:26:27.380this thing's coming down the pipe i need help you know i'm not an elected official and i'm not
00:26:33.500running for politics but if i was in the legislature or the rm council or something
00:26:40.200i would constantly contact my my my uh constituents because you know generally speaking in manitoba
00:26:48.400a rural municipality voting thing is thousands of people and you can't be expected to know
00:26:55.560everything if you think you do you're a fool so if you don't understand anything why wouldn't you
00:27:00.500go to the people that elected you and said listen this thing's coming down anybody have expertise
00:27:04.160on this can anybody come in and help me understand this but not a word not a peep but then still you
00:27:11.820get the face once they do find out the face that you got at the stonewall meeting well you're crazy
00:27:16.920like are you nuts is it just you think they can't process that kind of information or do they think
00:27:23.600that you're truly a fruit loop no you know what it is is they're suffering from the same thing that
00:27:30.680most of us did suffer from up until a couple of years ago and that is they trust so they were
00:27:37.900told and i know i know they were told because i've been you know i've spoken to the number of
00:27:41.980them and they were told that all 18 municipalities had an equal vote and that's true there's there's
00:27:49.620that's absolutely true but there's another section to it they weren't told so when you're watching
00:27:55.140the news and you're hearing reports from our elected representatives sometimes they don't lie
00:28:00.940but they don't tell you the whole truth and we I know Canadians are starting to catch on to that
00:28:07.540and and and I'm and I'm guessing our elected representatives are starting to catch on so
00:28:11.620I think they just trusted and they didn't go and read it you know I was in a town hall meeting not
00:28:18.020that long ago and it's kind of funny there were 16 plus people there and um someone asked the
00:28:25.900question how many people read the wmr and a bunch of people in the crowd put up their hands but the
00:28:33.140mla for the region didn't put up his hand and then he was asked specifically later on did you read it
00:28:39.360oh yeah i read it but there's some good things and there's a bad thing so you know i don't want
00:28:44.900to call anybody a bad name, but I don't think you die ready. That's political. Oh, yeah, there's
00:28:50.680some good things and there's some bad things. I specifically like that thing in the middle there
00:28:55.240where they talk about the pain. Well, we ran out of time. I was sitting right in the front. I would
00:29:00.000have said, well, what do you think about and did something specific? But, you know, there was
00:29:03.320there was any point. Everyone knew. Well, it's all about engagement, too, with these elected
00:29:08.920officials. Right. And you've uncovered some things regarding the last election and civic
00:29:14.020elections that have happened across the province of manitoba and i'm sure it's the same all across
00:29:18.620the country where people just don't go and vote and if they're you know what what's the turnout
00:29:23.100the voter turnout in most of these wards and municipalities like 30 40 percent oh no no no no
00:29:29.860you're talking three or four percent and you know interestingly enough and people could look it up
00:29:37.040on our website if you go to manitobastrongertogether.ca and you look up wmr 250 it's in the
00:29:42.520menu at the top and then you'll come to a whole long bunch of information and you can click on
00:29:47.720something there that talks about how who are the members of the wmr it lists the mayor or the reeve
00:29:55.620and it lists all the council members for each of the rm so there's 18 including the city of
00:30:00.760winnipeg and you know fully eight of them fully eight of them were elected by acclamation what
00:30:07.040acclimation is it's right at the very top is the menu uh right there in red it says w mr w mr 250
00:30:14.020just yeah right there if you click on that uh hopefully it'll come up soon and uh in any case
00:30:20.520okay there we go and if you go down a little bit there's a table of contents there you go and it's
00:30:26.660um i think it's rural municipality representation one two three four from the bottom
00:30:31.700you click on that i think that's i'm gonna get dizzy from that
00:30:38.020that went up way too fast so here you go now you can slowly move up and what i've done is i've
00:30:45.180listed all of the representatives there and every time you see a red one in red like on the town of
00:30:50.920niverville the mayor myron dick it's red he got elected by acclamation which means nobody ran
00:30:57.120against him so nobody voted for him so they gave him the job so out of the 18 rms fully eight of
00:31:03.840them fully eight of the rms the representatives of the wmr who are the reeve or the mayor
00:31:09.420didn't get any votes nobody ran against them so you could see here all the red look at rural
00:31:15.920minnesota headingly the re the mayor or they sometimes call a mayor reeve got in by acclamation
00:31:21.260mcdonald acclimation reshow acclimation rockwood uh acclimation so folks if you're not going out
00:31:30.420and voting or you're not running to become a representative what do you what can you expect
00:31:38.020i mean look at some of the look at this one you had the real municipality reshow up there
00:31:41.540these people got elected with look at steve bowker rural municipality attache the mayor got 1400
00:31:48.700votes. Steve Bulker, 230 votes. Look at all the reds. They got no votes, but nobody ran against
00:31:55.460them. So folks, if you're not getting up and voting, and you're not holding these people
00:32:03.560to account, and you're not reading the bulletins, and you're not going to elections, what do you
00:32:09.620expect? You know, Shadow, last fall, there was a school board election in Brandon, the city of
00:32:17.100Brandon. It was Ward 1 and Ward 2. I think Ward 1 was the city of Brandon. There's 35,000 eligible
00:32:23.520voters. You know how many people voted? 3,000. Come on. Absolutely. Wow. So people are screaming
00:32:32.220about what's going on in their schools, but they don't go out and vote. I'll tell you another one.
00:32:39.360Even our municipal election, sorry, our provincial election we just had last fall, right?
00:32:43.700so I analyzed the provincial elections for a couple cycles back so the we had an election in
00:32:51.9802023 in October and then we had a previous election in 2019 now this is really interesting
00:32:58.680because in 2019 51 percent of the eligible voters voted that's in 2019 then the mass hysteria the
00:33:08.040mass madness happened you know with the arrows on the grocery store floors and you have to put a mask
00:33:13.020on if you're standing up but you have to have a mask on when you're sitting down unless you're
00:33:16.340going to the bathroom and it's tuesday and you had a hamburger on wednesday any case so all that
00:33:21.580craziness happened people lost their lives people lost their jobs people lost their families etc etc
00:33:27.480we all know what happened so manitoba had a provincial election 2023 do you know how many
00:33:33.900people voted it's 51 less the same so people weren't upset or angry the same people who always
00:33:41.500voted and the same people who always don't vote did not yeah and and you know people say to me
00:33:49.780i didn't vote ken because my vote didn't matter that's crazy because in the manapoba provincial
00:33:57.780election it just happened and i'm going by my memory right now but there's 57 seats and fully
00:34:02.780i think it was 14 of those seats but elected by a margin of less than a thousand votes each each
00:34:10.940seat represents about 15,000 plus or minus people and only half of them vote so that was 7,500
00:34:18.420people in each riding that didn't vote and the seat went for less than a thousand votes you know
00:34:23.820the the the um the um the mla and mcphillips in winnipeg got in by a margin i think it was
00:34:30.860110 votes right so you think you think your vote doesn't matter you get together 100 of your
00:34:38.980friends for a pizza party and then go vote and you could change the seat. Yeah. And spread the
00:34:45.680word to another group of a hundred and so on and so on. And, you know, even we talk about voting
00:34:51.360all day long and how we get more people to vote. But once the election is over and the government's
00:34:57.000in place, they need to be held accountable. And I know people that call their MLAs or their MPs
00:35:03.520or their city councillors or whatever, but it seems to be the same 20 people over and over and
00:35:08.200over again. After a while, those elected officials just, oh, look, that's crazy Barney from down the
00:35:12.840street. He's going to bitch and moan about garbage collection again. And they just ignore it after a
00:35:17.560while. But if they show up at the office one morning and there's 200 emails waiting, 200
00:35:23.500different emails waiting for them from their constituents, all pissed off about something,
00:35:29.200you can bet that elected official is going to start to sweat a little bit, right?
00:35:32.660Well, you look at, you know, case in point. So the the Winnipeg metropolitan region, I believe it has about eight hundred and twenty thousand people living in it. Right. Eight hundred twenty thousand.
00:35:45.680So twenty. So in Neverville, when they had the public meeting on the WMR, somewhere between five hundred and a thousand people showed up.
00:36:32.400And I'll tell you the formula that politicians used, it's the same one we used to use in radio.
00:36:36.300If you have 100 or 1,000 people who call you because they want to take part in the contest and win this contest,
00:36:43.500you can bet for every person that called you, there's another 100 people who wanted to but couldn't get through or got wrapped up or distracted by something else.
00:36:53.880So if a thousand people show up and each one of those people represents a hundred, now you're starting to put some serious pressure on government officials.
00:37:06.340And you're right. That's exactly what happened.
00:37:08.740All of a sudden, the premier is on the air and the elected officials are panicking and worrying and they cancel things.
00:37:15.000And, you know, that's the power of the people.
00:37:17.720Yeah. And it amazes me how many people just don't want to get off their asses.
00:37:23.880even if they're pissed off and they know what's going on well you're absolutely right you know i
00:37:29.900see it every single day you know this morning i'll give you an example uh folks may or may not know
00:37:37.320that i was the chairman of the national citizens inquiry and we wrote that a that 5400 page report
00:37:44.180and submitted it last november and by the way there's a new supplemental report coming out in
00:37:49.120about two weeks so stay tuned folks some really interesting new information but so I get an email
00:37:55.200and and you know I God bless these people they they get these emails all the time well Mr. Drysdale
00:38:00.920I don't know you but I've got this question about blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and so I send
00:38:06.720them an answer I do some research on my own look at the report I say well you know Peter McCullough
00:38:11.440testified to this and Laura Braden Dr. Laura Braden testified to this blah blah and you can look up
00:38:16.040they're staying in blah blah blah and then i get an email back uh can you send me the video clips
00:38:20.840you need to tell me you can't look up the video clip you're that interested i've given you the
00:38:28.080names but you can't go and do it you've got to ask and you know what god bless them god bless
00:38:33.000them they're looking it up and i'll do my best but i get i get stuff like that all the time you know
00:38:38.720like i we would need a staff of a hundred each to be able to handle all of the requests we get for
00:38:46.280video clips and whatnot when you guys can simply go on and do a search on your own if you're that
00:38:52.920interested and that motivated and you want to know what's going on it's just a simple matter of you
00:38:57.460know coming here coming to this show watching this show or going if you want to find it right now
00:39:03.120go on your own and search around the internet you can find things even with the restrictions
00:39:09.180and the censorship these days you can still find things what i do recommend is if you're really
00:39:13.940looking for actual information not to use google because they are downgrading anything that that is
00:39:19.800real out there uh ken let's talk i'm sorry go ahead just one one issue on that um i know folks
00:39:26.440don't like this it's a dirty word but in order to help folks find this kind of stuff i have been
00:39:32.220writing like mad uh gpt ai programs for them for instance when i talk about the nci report it's
00:39:41.7205 400 pages long that people aren't even going to look at it but i wrote a gpt it's free
00:39:47.160if you go to chat gpt and you go to the gpt store you can find as the nci assistant you can ask it
00:39:54.540anything and it will answer you know when we were dry testing it uh teresa buckley asked it what
00:40:00.540color shirt was Ken Drysdale wearing in Truro, Nova Scotia? And it answered it, and it was
00:40:04.800correct. So folks, I'm doing my best to bring those things forward. And when I'm programming
00:40:11.860those, they're only using the database of information I'm giving it. Like for the NCI,
00:40:17.000it was the NCI report. I will be doing that with the 2050 plan shortly. So I will have a GPT
00:40:23.400available for it. You don't have to take a look at my presentation or the information that's
00:40:27.960available on on manitoba stronger website you can actually ask it yourself and then verify the
00:40:33.400answers you guys got to go to manitobastrongertogether.ca there are tons of information
00:40:38.940on that website not just about the wmr but you know all kinds of video you put out the video
00:40:45.120from the stonewall event all of it can people were asking me i think a couple of days after
00:40:50.420the event well how come you didn't live stream it i deserve to see it you say yeah i get that
00:40:54.540you deserve to see it but if we were live streaming it would you have come exactly and you know like
00:41:01.660the old blackout with the cfl right if you don't sell the game out i'm sorry but it's not going to
00:41:05.800be on tv because we want your asses in the seats at the event because yes these are community events
00:41:13.300and they are informative but one of the things about these events is that you get all kinds of
00:41:21.820like-minded people in the same room 400 300 500 people in the same room who all see things clearly
00:41:29.260and you can talk to each other yeah and it's just that sense of togetherness and community in a room
00:41:36.880like that and that's one of the big rushes i get out of each one of those things i do sure you can
00:41:41.880watch it on the screen our faces are this big on the screen for you guys and that's fine if you
00:41:46.900can't make it we totally understand but if you have the the time and you have the means to come
00:41:53.200out you know even we had people driving in from two two and a half hours away a couple of saturdays
00:41:58.560ago if you have the time and you have the means to come join us you will not regret it yeah it's
00:42:05.320not just about information you know that was one of the things that was one of the tools they used
00:42:12.640against us during the whole covid business they isolated us they wanted us on our screens and
00:42:19.460then they controlled the screens they wanted us not to have human to human interface interface
00:42:23.680so you're right shadow we made a conscious decision not to live stream it because we
00:42:29.660wanted people in that room breathing the same air talking to each other laughing and and meeting new
00:42:37.740people it's like when you're in church and they say all right everybody turn around and say hello
00:42:42.040to the person that's what we want we want to build community we don't want to tear you know the
00:42:47.320government has been trying to tear us apart for decades you know diversity is our strength but
00:42:52.100this group hates that group and this group hates that group you know i'm 66 years old and i have
00:42:57.800to and i've traveled this country up and down and sideways and backwards and forwards and to be
00:43:03.200honest i have never met somebody who is blatantly racist or hates somebody for the fact that they're
00:43:11.880polish or they're catholic or they're this or they're that that fantasy only lives in the
00:43:17.920government's sick mind and it's meant to separate you so that's what we're trying to do get everybody
00:43:23.320in a room you see that we're humans we're worried about our children we're worried about filling the
00:43:27.860gas tank we're worried about whether we're going to be cold this winter you don't get that from a
00:43:32.200screen folks you get that by being in the room with them breathing the same air laughing at the
00:43:37.000same jokes or maybe not depending on your sensibilities i suppose we have another one
00:43:43.580coming up this weekend in selkirk this is going to be the selkirk rec center and the capacity of
00:43:47.960this one is like 400 or 500 am i right yeah something like that yeah and and it's from one
00:43:53.460to four right and um we we were you know we've got a presentation that i've got it on i've got
00:44:01.480a second screen i'm just looking at it the presentation is a slideshow presentation it's
00:44:06.000162 pages and we know we're not going to get through all that folks we're going to get through
00:44:12.540about a dozen of them um that's because ken's going to tell folksy down home stories though
00:44:18.440even if i didn't i'd never get and then he'll stop every 10 minutes and say geez i guess i
00:44:25.980get back to the actual presentation i haven't even got to the presentation yet hey i'm not
00:44:31.980a professional presenter i'm not like you i mean you have got a folksy charm about you that people
00:44:38.100like and i i was captivated by your whole presentation i sat and watched the whole
00:44:42.240thing and i went wow he's he's good you capture people's attention and that's something that
00:44:47.760you know we need that we need more people to be able to get out reach out to people and make them
00:44:53.580understand what's going on even you know and i'm talking to you guys watching this now you know
00:44:58.500even if if you know you're sitting talking amongst friends in your garage having a beer one night
00:45:04.060then something like this comes up you need to arm yourself with the information so that you can speak
00:45:09.140authoritatively about what's going on you can't just go what because if you do you sound like
00:45:15.140tim walls in that vice presidential debate last night that was a great one i love that i watched
00:45:21.320that one yeah you know folks i wrote it's interesting i wrote a piece um two three days
00:45:27.680ago about fear and I was telling people don't be afraid you know when you leave idiots like me
00:45:34.960standing up by ourselves in the wind we're going to get blown away but if all of you stand up with
00:45:40.680us we will not and you know I sent that out on social media and I don't I don't normally respond
00:45:47.040to a lot of folks on these things but somebody said to me what do you mean you're not supposed
00:45:51.480to be afraid all you ever talk about is things that make me afraid and I thought about that and
00:45:56.640I thought, you should not be afraid of the truth. What you should be afraid of is lies and deceit
00:46:06.880and the things that are going on in our world, because almost everything you look at is a lie.
00:46:11.280You should never be afraid of standing up for the truth, because the consequence of you not
00:46:17.420standing up is horrific. And so I didn't respond to this person, but I thought it was an interesting
00:46:24.960interpretation that i was telling people not to be afraid but the things i had been talking about
00:46:31.080made this person afraid so they didn't get the fundamental basis of what i was talking about and
00:46:37.320that is stand up don't be afraid and if you stand together there's nothing to be afraid about
00:46:45.020they'll you know they're these these the the powers of evil are like are like um predators
00:46:51.520in the wild they look for the individual they look for the weak they're not they're not going
00:46:57.420to attack the herd that's absolutely true some people still have a problem just diving in right
00:47:08.500i mean they're sitting there right now and i've seen like in the june conference i saw i'm going
00:47:14.200to say 20 people that i hadn't seen in years who told me they'd been watching my show for the last
00:47:19.940four years and agree with everything that they say and i said well thanks um but how come i haven't
00:47:25.620seen you at any of the other events ah i just you know work i did i don't want those people to know
00:47:30.280that i'm here and i said what are you here doing what are you doing here now so i i kind of got
00:47:34.480over that basically it's like wading in to cold water up to your waist and you have that moment
00:47:43.060where you make the decision i'm either going to go in or i'm going to turn around and go back
00:47:47.460Yeah. And you know, the other thing that cripples people is they say to themselves, I can't stand up and talk. I can't give those speeches. I don't have the computer skills to do this or that or the other thing. And as you know, Shadow, I know you're going to laugh at me here, but Manitoba Stronger Together has a tradition. And that tradition is cinnamon buns. What the hell am I talking about?
00:48:11.840when we go to manitoba stronger has an event people bring homemade cinnamon buns and the
00:48:16.840reason for that is that people when we first started up and we did i think 14 communities
00:48:22.200last fall people come up to me and it was always like what can i do can't i i don't know how to run
00:48:27.680a computer and i can't speak in public and and i looked at this person and i said i bet you can
00:48:33.420make cinnamon buns and she thought i was crazy and i said you know what if your skill is making
00:48:38.580cinnamon buns then you next time we come to town you let everybody know that you're going to bring
00:48:43.760your homemade cinnamon buns and i bet you we double the attendance because of that and i based that
00:48:48.600idea it wasn't my idea it was it's it's the reinterpretation of the loaves and the fishes
00:48:54.320from the bible i mean did anybody ever ask who packed the lunch you know the we know what the
00:48:59.460kid did the kid brought the fishes and the loaves we know what jesus did he multiplied them but who
00:49:03.320made that lunch in the first place maybe that's what you should be doing maybe you show up and
00:49:08.440you just maybe arrange chairs maybe you show up and you take a brochure maybe when you're in the
00:49:14.260line at safeways or costco you say to the person in front of you hey i keep hearing about this wmr
00:49:20.320do you know what it is maybe that's what you do maybe you bring cinnamon buns oh by the way
00:49:26.740somebody in boziger brought vena tartar one time you know i'll tell you what if somebody brings
00:49:33.820cinnamon buns to the selkirk event we'll give them away we'll stand up in front of the crowd
00:49:38.240and we'll say all right we've got bonnie's cinnamon buns here and we we put a a yellow card
00:49:45.940under 15 chairs in the audience if you have a yellow card under your chair come on up and get
00:49:51.120your cinnamon bun what about that but it's true you know you might not have you know not everybody
00:50:00.980is the quarterback not everybody's a quarterback somebody somebody scrapes the ice at the end of
00:50:06.520the game somebody plays defense somebody is picking up the pucks someone's going and getting
00:50:11.740mouth guards it doesn't come together unless everybody does their job so please folks don't
00:50:17.400disqualify yourself because you're not the quarterback the quarterback's useless without
00:50:22.000the rest of the team behind them absolutely and the other thing is you know if you've come to me
00:50:28.740or can at one of these events or for that matter if you're watching in Alberta or Ontario and you
00:50:35.020know of an event that you can go to that's kind of along the same lines and you walk up to the
00:50:40.960organizer of that event and you ask is there anything i can do and that person says no we're
00:50:45.300covered right now find something you can do yeah i mean make make something up i mean you you could
00:50:50.340take what you're good at like like ken said making cinnamon buns or whatever it is maybe it's you're
00:50:56.420a wizard with home fries it doesn't matter right it doesn't have to be making food whatever you're
00:51:03.040good at right but just contribute something if you can well it you know what i'll tell you
00:51:09.340a hearty laugh is always good too i'll tell you another one i got another email this morning it
00:51:16.280was a lady i haven't met and she said to me mr drysdale i went through your slide presentation
00:51:22.380and i've been halfway through and there's this spelling mistake and this two should have been
00:51:27.880an in and this da should have been a whatever and that was what that person contributed and
00:51:32.780she's finishing it tonight but you know maybe that's what you do and that's this lady took
00:51:38.620it upon herself and she sent me i think about a dozen or so different little typos and stuff for
00:51:43.360me to fix wonderful if that's your expertise god bless you stand up and i'll tell you something
00:51:51.680else about these events wherever they happen to be um when ken and i and i can't speak for you
00:52:00.340can. I'll speak for me. When I'm standing up in front of you guys, I got a microphone in my hand
00:52:05.040and I'm talking to you about something pretty important. And I'm watching you just like you're
00:52:09.700watching me. This is not a one-way street. This is a two-way street of engagement. And I'm looking
00:52:14.720at your faces and I'm seeing that you're engaged. Or if you're not, I will try to bring you into
00:52:20.460that my goal is to make sure that everybody is is there learning stuff and and growing but also
00:52:30.220feeling a part of it right so if i've had many people email me and say i saw you at the event
00:52:37.320last week and i you were busy talking to somebody so i didn't want to interrupt you what i always
00:52:43.100say to that is you should have interrupted me i will always have time if i have to stick around
00:52:49.280for two hours after it doesn't matter to me might matter to my ride but it doesn't matter to me
00:52:54.460because I want to make sure that everybody we all have the chance to speak to each other
00:52:59.680face to face and it's such a rare occurrence that when it does happen you got to take advantage of
00:53:05.820it right oh absolutely and you know those of us who've ever been to a live concert knows that
00:53:13.080there's a difference between sitting on the floor at home listening to your record or going to a
00:53:17.320live concert it feeds back and forth when the performers on stage telling stuff and they're
00:53:21.720watching you and they're going to react to the way that you're reacting to them and so you get
00:53:26.060this not just this community benefit but you also help in the presentation and you help to hone
00:53:33.700the skills of the presenter and you gain from that too so I guess I'm going a little bit back
00:53:40.040to well why didn't you live stream it or so on and so forth we have provided the video
00:53:44.800but it's not the same folks it's not the same as being in the room interacting as human beings
00:53:52.100not as computer junkies but as human beings getting to know what that is again because
00:53:58.280a lot of us have forgotten a lot of us spent two and a half three years locked down couldn't see
00:54:03.000your mama couldn't see your dad some of you didn't even see your spouse i remember do you remember
00:54:09.100that that thing that fauci put out about how you're supposed to and let's not get into that
00:54:13.580what you're supposed to reach the tam was talking about that too wasn't she well i could see that
00:54:17.940with trees at half sorry about that theresa but you know i here i'm looking right now and i mean
00:54:25.700you can see them too ken all the comments that are zipping past here and you guys it's not the
00:54:32.160same right i mean you're writing comments and you're interacting with each other remotely
00:54:36.000virtually but being able to do it in person is a whole other thing so we want to see you in selkirk
00:54:41.860this coming Saturday from 1 until 4 o'clock.
00:54:45.800We've expanded the time last weekend or the weekend before last.
00:54:49.100I think it was a two-and-a-half-hour presentation,
00:54:51.020so this one will be full-time for you.
00:54:53.900We'll even have an intermission, right, so people can get up and go pee?
00:54:58.340Well, we tell people just get up and go because if we stop,
00:57:50.840remember that video i played for you last night when the cbc reporter was talking to those first
00:57:59.760nations ladies and she was saying so how's trudeau been for you has he been better than harper and
00:58:04.060they just freaked out on her for no good reason and that was that great example i gave you of
00:58:09.440cultural marxism i think if i was their cultural marxism coach i would have said ah you came on a
00:58:15.000bit too strong a bit too quick there you probably should have waited for another reporter maybe a
00:58:20.400rebel news reporter somebody from true north who was going to ask you an actual logical question
00:58:25.240before you start freaking out on them those people at the end the first nations lady you colonizers
00:58:32.880you settlers remember well there's a new poll out and the poll says that most canadians as you can
00:58:41.680see disagree with being called settlers and i wonder why that is uh maybe it's because we were
00:58:49.480born here? This is where I was born. This is where I grew up. This is where I still live. I do not
00:58:55.840feel like a settler. In the world of academia, the term settlers has become commonplace when
00:59:02.720discussing people of European descent. However, a new poll has found that most Canadians don't
00:59:07.980agree with it. Survey commissioned by the Association of Canadian Studies revealed a
00:59:12.480disconnect between academics and the general public. And by the way, as Ken was just pointing
00:59:17.760out. This disconnect also goes with the media and the government. The Leger poll found that 47%
00:59:24.780of Canadians disagree with the term settler as a descriptor, and 30% were completely unaware of the
00:59:31.700term altogether. So clued out, so many people are. They don't vote, they don't keep up on current
00:59:37.540affairs, and maybe that's a good thing. Ignorance is bliss, right? This prompted researchers to note
00:59:43.720that it's reasonably safe to conclude that the 30% simply don't understand the notion of settler
00:59:48.680colonialism, or maybe, maybe it's that they don't care. President and CEO of the Association of
00:59:57.060Canadian Studies, Jack Jedwab, said the term is primarily used by those who perceive Canada's
01:00:02.620past and present through a colonial lens, like those who believe in critical race theory and
01:00:09.160have been indoctrinated to that. They therefore define Canadians as either indigenous or as
01:00:13.960settler colonists, said Jedwab. The poll ultimately found that fewer than one in four Canadians
01:00:20.100see themselves as a settler. Jedwab said that most Canadians reject the us and them labeling.
01:00:28.380It's indicative of a widening gap between the academy and the public at large. That gap
01:00:32.800risks undercutting efforts at reconciliation as it fails to capture the diversity of the
01:00:38.320indigenous and non-indigenous persons how about this and this is very simple like rocky balboa
01:00:44.720said at the end of rocky four after he laid a smackdown on ivan drago why can't we all just get
01:00:52.440along i don't give a rat's ass what color your skin is man doesn't matter to me liberal corruption
01:01:04.820this is the former leader of the conservative party of canada andrew shear listen to this
01:01:14.480it's absolutely astounding after nine years justin trudeau has shown that he's not worth the cost
01:01:22.100or their corruption the speaker has just recently ruled that all house business all government
01:01:29.320business must be put aside while members of parliament consider liberal corruption first
01:01:36.880we had the case of the green slush fund the sdtc fund where the auditor general found over
01:01:44.920330 million dollars funneled to liberal insiders own businesses she found massive conflicts of
01:01:53.920interests. Basically, these Liberal appointed board members who made the decision as to which
01:01:59.820companies got money, taxpayers' money, from this fund were funneling that money to their own
01:02:05.900businesses or to the businesses of their close friends. So the Auditor General has blown the
01:02:10.480whistle on that, yet the government refuses to hand over the documents to the RCMP. The House
01:02:16.280of Commons passed a production order demanding that all documents, all information that the
01:02:21.660auditor general uncovered plus any documents that might exist in any government department related
01:02:26.900to this scandal be handed over to the rcmp the government is refusing and as a result the house
01:02:32.880will be seized with this corruption matter until they hand over the documents and then we have the
01:02:38.260case of the other randy where a trudeau a senior trudeau minister was uh was is alleged to have
01:02:45.880been sitting around the cabinet table while also involved in his own business's affairs.
01:02:52.600His business partner was summoned before committee and refused to disclose all the information,
01:02:58.180refused to name who the other Andy is, refused to hand over all the documents and answer the
01:03:04.240questions that were put to him. And as a result, the House has ceased with that motion as well.
01:03:09.300So what we're saying today is that the government will not be able to, the House will be staying on these corruption matters until the Liberals hand over all the documents to the RCMP.
01:03:22.040While Canadians are suffering with the cost of living crisis that Justin Trudeau caused with his runaway inflation,
01:03:28.920while millions of Canadians are visiting a food bank for the first time and young Canadians are giving up on the dream of home ownership as housing costs have doubled under the NDP Liberal government,
01:03:39.300It's clear once again that the Liberals will always stop
01:03:43.480and enrich their friends while they impoverish Canadians.
01:03:47.460What's this going to look like and how long is this going to go on?
01:03:49.480So the Speaker has ruled that Parliament's rules were broken in this Liberal cover-up.
01:03:58.800The House of Commons demanded these documents be sent to the RCMP
01:04:02.580so that the RCMP can determine whether or not there are criminal charges warranted
01:04:09.300The government refused to comply with this long-standing power that Parliament has to hold governments to account.
01:04:17.240And by doing so, the Speaker has now ruled that all government business must be put aside until the House deals with this corruption motion.
01:04:24.360It's really up to the government to determine how long that will take.
01:04:28.300But it's clear that they're willing to go to extreme lengths to cover up their corruption.
01:04:32.320That they're willing to put the business of Parliament off to the side just to protect Liberal insiders.
01:04:38.380liberal friendly appointees to this board funneled money to their own
01:04:43.060companies it's taxpayers money while Canadians are paying higher carbon taxes
01:04:47.080higher prices at the grocery store higher mortgage costs with with high
01:04:50.120interest rates liberal insiders stopped and enriched themselves it's never been
01:04:54.880so good to be a liberal insider it's never been so tough
01:05:02.940this would be question period but but as to the business that the house debates
01:05:07.240every day the speaker has ruled that these corruption motions must be dealt with before
01:05:10.840any other business can be done uh that's a that's also a question for the government they control
01:05:16.600when they assign days and they and they control when the when the house can move on by transmitting
01:05:24.200the documents to the rc so the business of our country is going to be halted until the liberal
01:05:34.760government either hands over these documents they've been ordered to hand over or they prorogue
01:05:41.020parliament possibly remember we talked about that last night so that's one of trudeau's options he
01:05:46.680prorogues parliament so everything stops because it's been a bad two years for trudeau let's be
01:05:53.040honest he's been sinking in the polls for the past two years but in the last month things have
01:05:58.100gotten really grim bad polling numbers all of these corruption reports coming out from the
01:06:03.940committees that were done by hardworking MPs over the summer. They were in Ottawa, like questioning
01:06:09.840these witnesses, like relentlessly. And we've got the results of it now, which has caused
01:06:15.840a suspension nearly of parliament, of the business of government, of the business of this country.
01:06:22.760They cannot conduct business, the business of you and me, until the liberals capitulate and
01:06:29.940hand over these documents so the RCMP can investigate them. We're talking about hundreds
01:06:35.840of millions of your dollars, my dollars, going to liberal insiders, which is completely unacceptable.
01:06:45.220Trudeau government defies parliament, refuses to surrender. SDTC documents finds the Speaker
01:06:52.740of the House. And the Speaker of the House, by the way, Greg Fergus, he's a liberal.
01:08:45.060You're a French teacher. You didn't want to use pronouns that didn't apply to the person's biological sex. Go for it.
01:08:51.900Sure. I had a student second year, actually third year in my class, going up the levels in French.
01:08:58.820A student I really liked decided she decided that she's adopting a male identity.
01:09:04.980And it was a new male name that I that I adopted as well, adopted a new male name.
01:09:09.440And I explained to my administration how I was approaching this transition.
01:09:13.600I explained that, yes, I'm using her new name and I'm avoiding feminine pronouns in her presence in the classroom.
01:09:21.380I'm not going to provoke her. She can believe how she wants.
01:09:24.920However, I'm not going to adopt her newfound ideology and use male pronouns to refer to her.
01:09:32.940I'm just going to use her new name, which in the classroom setting is actually quite easy because I say to my student, hi, how are you doing?
01:09:41.780I don't say, hi, how is she doing if you're talking directly to someone and using their using their name when you're referring to them and their presence is also more polite than the front.
01:09:52.720So my my administration said, no, no, no, you must pronounce male pronouns, even when there are no students present, when you're referring to this.
01:10:01.680It's amazing. This is absolutely amazing, Peter. They're basically forcing you to lie.
01:10:08.180True. Yeah. And so let me bring in the lawyer.
