00:24:10.120available levers against provinces that don't comply with this proposed plan to relocate asylum

00:24:21.700to its population. According to a liberal government briefing document obtained by True
00:24:26.380North, the proposed plan would have provinces take in a proportionate share of the asylum
00:24:31.740claimant population. It outlines a quota for each province to accept based on a proportion of each
00:24:37.100province's current population. The document shows that Quebec and Ontario are currently the most
00:24:42.620popular destinations for asylum seekers in Canada, taking in the most refugee applicants.
00:24:47.280According to StatsCan reports from June of this year, 453,032, that number again, 453,302 individuals are seeking or have been granted asylum in Canada.
00:25:07.420The briefing said 235,825 asylum claims are currently open where a decision has not yet been rendered.

00:26:15.200before the plan, totaling 39% of the new asylum seekers. That's crazy. It's political. It's
00:26:21.660obviously political. And Trudeau has no shame. He has found a way once again to wedge East and
