00:04:00.000 hello everybody and welcome to shadow at night this is monday september the 30th 2024 and before
00:04:11.220 i go any further tonight i would like to take this opportunity to wish my son matthew a happy
00:04:18.100 39th birthday i love you son i appreciate you you know it's interesting i was talking to him
00:04:24.280 on the phone today and then a couple of days ago and he said dad you want to know what i want for
00:04:27.960 a present you don't have to mail anything he said you don't have to mail anything i went oh good
00:04:32.440 because he lives in bc i said what do you want he said i want to come on your show
00:04:38.120 and talk about stuff with you
00:04:42.920 well that's an interesting suggestion so i've been thinking about it he's a pretty smart guy my son
00:04:48.600 so yeah i told him today that one of these days very soon because he's also up to date and all
00:04:54.760 all the stuff that we talk about. He knows about all the stuff we've talked about. One of these
00:04:59.860 days soon, he will be coming on as part of a panel, mind you. I want to see how he does in a panel
00:05:04.560 first before I bring him on one-on-one. And yeah, so you'll see him in a panel situation in the next
00:05:10.620 couple of weeks here. Again, a good guy, a little bit of nepotism. I get it, but whatever. He's my
00:05:15.280 son. I don't care. It's my show. I answer to nobody. I'm my own boss. I'll bring my son on the
00:05:21.440 show, and you guys will probably enjoy it. So my boy Matthew will be joining the show, and once
00:05:26.440 again, I love you, son. Happy birthday today, and I look forward to seeing Leo in the next couple of
00:05:32.140 weeks for Thanksgiving. Coming up on the show tonight, we're going to talk about cultural
00:05:38.380 Marxism. You guys have probably heard me talk about this in the past, and some of you, and
00:05:43.120 there's no reason to be embarrassed by not knowing exactly what it is, although I'm sure many of you
00:05:48.660 do. We're going to talk about Marxism tonight. We're going to talk about cultural Marxism. We're
00:05:53.360 going to talk about how it's been pervading our society for decades now, decades, possibly even
00:05:59.940 close to a century, considering the Russian Revolution happened in 1919, and apparently,
00:06:04.920 or 1917, I'm sorry, and apparently the Winnipeg General Strike of 1919 was a part of that when
00:06:11.000 the Bolsheviks tried to move communism worldwide, and they came into Canada. That's what that
00:06:16.780 uprising was about according to many history scholars so we're going to talk about cultural
00:06:23.200 marxism the impact it's had and what we can do about it don't forget to like and share you guys
00:06:29.980 get this out to as many people as we possibly can if you're watching on facebook tonight like
00:06:33.980 and share if you're watching on youtube hit that like button smash that like button twitch same
00:06:38.360 thing x it's a reshare and a heart what else rumble don't forget to hit the share button beneath the
00:06:43.980 screen that highlights the url above the screen from there you guys can share it to wherever you
00:06:47.960 want to share it wherever groups emails whatever let's say some hellos elanie elanie hello elanie
00:06:56.480 how you doing welcome to the show tonight lorraine is watching on facebook karen's watching on
00:07:00.920 youtube leslie is watching in i don't know where she's watching but she's watching on facebook i
00:07:05.840 know what you're watching on leslie i just don't know where you're watching from hello bob who is
00:07:10.860 watching from sudbury michelle is watching from alameda also not california in the bustling
00:07:16.640 constituency of cannington sk you guys have got a provincial election coming up they're going to
00:07:21.620 drop the writ tomorrow we'll tell you more about that in other words what the polls are looking
00:07:26.120 like there derrick hello how you doing verne is watching from northeast saskatchewan tonight edna
00:07:31.200 is watching from victoria which is the capital of british columbia you guys have an election coming
00:07:36.040 up. We're going to start the show with some good news for you tonight from British Columbia as far
00:07:41.420 as the polls are going. But first, the Shadow at Night livestream is, as always, brought to you by
00:07:47.180 CanadaNanoSilver.com. Preparing Crest Toothpaste to Silver Cirucals Toothpaste. First, we're starting
00:07:52.300 out with Crest. It's a classic. It's an original. It's what I've used most of my life. But that
00:07:56.360 being said, it does have its problems. First off, the consistency is so weird and thick, and I get
00:08:00.560 it's a paste, but it really doesn't spread that well. And I must also say that I'm not in love
00:08:04.440 with the taste i get toothpaste isn't supposed to taste good but why shouldn't it but that being
00:08:08.460 said it does get the job done next we have silver suiticles they have three flavors but today we're
00:08:12.140 going with bubble berry and already it smells so good so i'm excited to see what this tastes like
00:08:16.200 the consistency is also a lot smoother and i must say it spreads way nicer in your mouth
00:08:20.400 this literally tastes like fruit bubble gum yeah this toothpaste was pretty good i actually went
00:08:26.160 in for seconds and it's infused with nano silver so it helps remineralize your teeth and keep them
00:08:30.980 fresh throughout the day 100 go with silver suit and here's the results what's your favorite
00:08:35.460 toothpaste canadananosilver.com engage your health now call kevin and anna at 204-808-9292
00:08:45.220 for all of the details about how you can order online or you can find all of the well not all
00:08:52.360 of but many of the retail locations all across the country on the website just hit the retail
00:08:59.220 locations tab canadananosilver.com all right before we begin our cultural marxism journey
00:09:06.120 tonight let's go ahead and check out what's cooking in the canadian provincial elections
00:09:11.240 which are coming up rather quickly in saskatchewan again they drop the writ tomorrow in bc the election
00:09:16.760 is two and a half weeks away i believe and here is the latest polling as per main street this is
00:09:23.440 just from a couple of days ago actually this was updated today they say here september 30 of 2024
00:09:28.520 bc 2024 election look at these numbers here the bc conservatives have come from 0.2
00:09:37.160 a year ago to 44 support across the province whereas the ndp has gone down 4.6 percentage
00:09:49.500 points they're sitting at 38 right now sorry this this is a seats thing this is not a percentage
00:09:55.340 thing. Basically, what you've got is gambler's odds down here at the bottom. So the conservatives
00:10:00.580 have got a 60.1% chance of forming a majority government, whereas the NDP, it looks like they
00:10:06.700 have only a 38% chance of forming a majority government. The Greens apparently will not get
00:10:12.580 any seats. They'll be down two. They've got two right now. So this is the way Main Street looks
00:10:17.460 at it final seat counts of the 93 bc conservatives wind up with 48 and the ndp wind up with 45
00:10:26.280 that gives the conservatives a majority government by the skin of their teeth not bad from a party
00:10:34.420 that was pretty much dead in the water and had been dead in the water for over 30 years
00:10:39.020 until about a year ago so congratulations to john rustat what am i saying you don't congratulate
00:10:44.920 somebody before they've actually won anything ever but it's looking good pretty at least that's
00:10:51.520 one polling agency says it's looking decent for the bc conservatives from canada 338 sorry 338
00:10:58.460 canada.com always get that backwards the saskatchewan election is coming up at the end
00:11:03.580 of october the writ drops tomorrow and then the campaign begins 27 days of it it's going to be
00:11:08.200 quick and right now uh it looks like the saskatchewan party which is pretty much the right
00:11:14.280 leading party in Saskatchewan has got 51% of the vote as compared to the NDP. It's got 40%. So the
00:11:20.500 seat projections looks like 39 for the Saskatchewan party and 22 for the NDP, which keeps the
00:11:28.380 Saskatchewan party in power. I know there's a lot of people out there saying, no, no, shadow, shadow,
00:11:33.280 they got to vote Buffalo. They got to vote Buffalo. They got to vote Buffalo. If you guys want to
00:11:38.900 split that right vote in Saskatchewan, you're going to wind up with an NDP government. That is a
00:11:42.820 guarantee. So stop that nonsense right now until one of those other right wing or right leaning
00:11:48.320 parties can get some kind of traction. Province wide in Saskatchewan, you're better off to use
00:11:53.800 your vote for the Saskatchewan party. You do not want an NDP government. Manitoba's got one and
00:12:00.980 they're going to drive this province back into the ground over the next three years. I know the PCs
00:12:05.780 here were bad. They were very bad. But the NDP, they will be worse. Okay. So let's begin our
00:12:15.480 journey on cultural Marxism tonight with this video from Pierre Polyev. This was released
00:12:22.280 about a year ago when Pierre was out campaigning, door knocking in Oshawa, Ontario on behalf of
00:12:30.440 Jalil Javani, who eventually did win the riding there with a huge majority of votes. But Pierre
00:12:37.020 was out door knocking with Jamil Javani about a year ago, and he did not know that this was caught
00:12:43.080 on tape. And the left wing corporate media made some kind of protest story about this.
00:12:51.480 It's time to stop calling Justin Trudeau a Marxist. Watch what Pierre says in this video.
00:12:57.600 A video of Pierre Polyev going door-knocking was posted to social media,
00:13:01.640 and in it he can be heard calling the Trudeaus Marxists,
00:13:04.840 a term used to describe a supporter of the political and economic theories of 19th century philosopher Karl Marx.
00:13:11.980 This latest jab follows a contentious history between...
00:13:14.740 Okay, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I have to stop her there for one moment.
00:13:17.820 That is a very, very simple explanation about Marxism.
00:13:22.840 It's evolved considerably over the past hundred years,
00:13:26.540 and we're going to get into that but let's continue on leaders jason gaidola is live with
00:13:31.740 us tonight with more on this hey jason hey kelly of course a federal election is still two years
00:13:37.600 away but the prime minister and the opposition leader have come out swinging at each other
00:13:41.940 many times like they're on the campaign trail but in terms of this latest claim by pierre
00:13:46.800 polyev some experts are throwing some cold water on that marxist claim his dad put him started
00:13:53.600 He's putting this country down, and he's going to put the mail in the pocket. 0.53
00:14:00.400 Not if we can help it.
00:14:01.940 His dad started doing wrong.
00:14:03.820 Well, they're both Marxists.
00:14:06.260 We're going door to door in this video.
00:14:08.320 A citizen appears.
00:14:09.740 Well, they're both Marxists.
00:14:11.100 So anybody who sits there saying,
00:14:14.280 Pierre Pacheco, come in.
00:14:16.780 Hey, I'm not going to sit here and say you're wrong.
00:14:19.400 but the fact of the matter is that he is calling out trudeau and his minions as marxists
00:14:26.200 in a video he didn't know was being recorded and didn't know was going to be released which was
00:14:33.620 used by the marxists thinking that they have oh look he's calling his names now
00:14:38.620 it backfired on that big time is what i'm saying but let's get back to this
00:14:42.180 well they're both marxists going door to door in this video a citizen appears to be criticizing
00:14:49.280 Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his father Pierre to opposition leader Pierre Polyev,
00:14:54.920 in which the Tory responds back by calling both men a Marxist.
00:14:58.920 The viral video has sparked many comments online, including from Liberal MP Mark...
00:15:03.500 Homer Simpson says, say what you will about our political leaders,
00:15:07.400 but to refer to any Canadian Prime Minister as a Marxist not only shows a massive misunderstanding of the term,
00:15:13.820 no it doesn't, but indeed is an insult to all those who have been subject to the political ideology
00:15:19.260 Now, I want to be absolutely clear here.
00:15:22.940 Both Justin Trudeau and Jagmeet Singh, when Fidel Castro died, put out tweets that suggested that Fidel Castro was a revolutionary and a great man.
00:15:33.880 He was a Marxist, totalitarian dictator who killed, the latest count, 11,000 of his own people.
00:15:44.540 So, Mark, once again, you're wrong.
00:15:47.880 garrison who calls the claim a massive misunderstanding of the term and an insult
00:15:54.160 but i certainly don't think that justin trudeau is a is a marxist in a genuine deep ideological
00:16:00.100 sense i think it was just used as a pejorative term okay this guy just thinks that pierre is
00:16:06.040 calling names here he's wrong designed to signal both his economic orientation which has to do
00:16:13.320 with distributing wealth from those who have more wealth to those who have less wealth as well as
00:16:19.380 his cultural orientation today some experts okay hold on just a second hold on just a second this
00:16:24.360 guy says well i you know i probably i'm just using calling names and marxist and then he actually
00:16:31.120 goes out and points out that justin trudeau's policies are marxist he doesn't say it but he
00:16:38.980 says what the policies are and the policies are marxist both his economic orientation which has
00:16:47.020 to do with distributing wealth from those who have more wealth to those who have less okay so what
00:16:52.600 is that distributing more wealth from the people who have wealth to the people that don't have
00:16:57.040 wealth that's marxism wealth as well as his cultural orientation today's cultural orientation
00:17:05.280 In other words, you're a denier if you don't believe what I'm telling you.
00:17:09.160 And we're going to get to that in just a couple of minutes.
00:17:10.740 Experts are pushing back on Polyev's statement, who say Marxism, in its traditional sense,
00:17:15.780 is criticism towards capitalism and the conflict between social classes.
00:17:20.440 The term refers to the belief system of Karl Marx, a 19th century revolutionary socialist in Europe.
00:17:26.700 19th century critique of capitalism, the shortcomings.
00:17:29.940 and he thought the workers should control the means of production, factories, etc.
00:17:36.140 And a key addition to Marxism was Leninism.
00:17:40.380 And with Marxism, Leninism came repression.
00:17:44.340 Professor of post-communist studies in Dayton, Ohio, Yarrow Bilisarkovich,
00:17:48.300 says the term is sometimes used to describe some actions amongst social democratic circles.
00:17:53.660 It simply, they realize the realities are, if there aren't positive changes,
00:17:58.940 then people will will see more radical changes. So positive reform, moderate reform can be
00:18:05.060 successful, stabilized. Despite a federal election being two years away, attacks and critiques
00:18:11.260 between both Trudeau and Polyev have become a common occurrence. All right, that's enough of
00:18:16.720 that. So you've got professors, political professors, talking about what Marxism really is
00:18:25.980 and leninism and all of that stuff but they they don't go into the details of it they don't go
00:18:32.400 into how it's evolved they have apparently not a clue we're going to get into uh the charter of
00:18:40.520 rights and freedoms tonight as well but first guys this is marxist ndp mp leah gazan in the
00:18:49.660 house of commons introducing a bill to criminalize anybody who denies residential schools
00:18:59.140 right here she is speaker today i rise to table an act to amend the criminal code promotion of
00:19:08.560 hatred against indigenous peoples if passed this bill would add to the criminal code the offense
00:19:14.880 of willfully promoting hatred against Indigenous peoples
00:19:17.960 by condoning, denying, justifying, or downplaying
00:19:22.320 the harm caused by the residential school system.
00:19:25.720 Okay, do you hear what she says there?
00:19:28.000 Do you hear what she says there?
00:19:29.340 It's hate if you deny or debate any of what they say.
00:19:35.440 If passed, this bill would add to the criminal code
00:19:37.740 the offense of willfully promoting hatred
00:19:39.920 against Indigenous peoples by condoning, denying,
00:19:43.540 justifying, or downplaying the harm caused by the residential school system.
00:19:49.540 In other words, if you don't agree with their lies, then you can be charged. That's what she wants.
00:19:58.580 In Canada, calling irrefutable historical facts into question.
00:20:04.440 Yes, they are very refutable. They still haven't uncovered any graves in Kamloops, have they?
00:20:10.000 and there are many indigenous leaders in this country who've come out and said yeah you know
00:20:14.960 i had a wonderful experience at my residential school but that doesn't get amplified in the
00:20:23.420 left-wing corporate media like this does and today is national holiday it is national truth
00:20:29.740 and reconciliation day when all these people are marching around in their orange t-shirts and they
00:20:33.840 have no idea what it actually means let's continue on a genocidal project that was recognized as such
00:20:41.320 unanimously in the house survivors and their families deserve to heal from this intergenerational
00:20:48.500 tragedy and be free from violent hate and we cannot allow their safety and well-being to be
00:20:55.500 put further at risk all parliamentarians must stand firm against all forms of damaging hate
00:21:01.560 speech, including the denial of the tragedy of the residential schools in Canada.
00:21:09.380 And at a time of increasing residential school denialism, including from some parliamentarians,
00:21:16.180 survivors, their families and communities need protection and a platform to share our
00:21:21.300 history.
00:21:22.720 In honour of Orange Shirt Day, I extend this gift to you on behalf of me and all of my
00:21:29.400 my colleagues. May you find justice and healing in the protection of your stories. Thank you very
00:21:36.440 much. She's a Marxist. Now, there are a great many similarities between BLM, Black Lives Matter,
00:21:46.000 in the United States, and this Every Child Matters movement up here in Canada. I'm not sure if
00:21:52.360 they're being funded by the same people. But what she's calling for there in that motion
00:21:57.300 is criminalizing free speech that is what she is talking about so we go to this lawyer website here
00:22:04.680 aclrc.com some lawyer some law firm in ontario and they're going to be giving us an explanation here
00:22:12.280 on section 2b of the charter of rights and freedoms which is the freedom of thought belief
00:22:18.300 opinion and expression including freedom of the press and other media of communications so that
00:22:24.320 would be social media whatever just the internet section 2b is a broadly protected right in canada
00:22:31.660 they say it protects any activity that conveys or attempts to convey a meaning this covers a very
00:22:38.940 wide scope including for example speaking writing artwork dancing clothing choice tattoos it includes
00:22:44.380 all forms of expression so long as they do not include violence or threats of violence now that's
00:22:50.260 the sticking point here. The new Marxists, the neo-Marxists believe that violence can be words.
00:22:58.620 To me, the definition of violence is actually being violent physically. But these people,
00:23:04.660 if you call somebody a name to them, that is violence. I'm sure you've seen that on several
00:23:10.840 different videos posted by Matt Walsh, Charlie Kirk, guys like that. The lawyers go on to say,
00:23:17.320 we protect free expression for three major reasons. Free expression seeks to uphold the
00:23:22.360 truth, encourages political and social participation, and promotes self-fulfillment.
00:23:26.900 The test, the test to see whether or not this kind of speech should be allowed. Three questions
00:23:34.620 are asked to determine if your freedom of expression has been violated. Did your words
00:23:38.200 or actions convey or attempt to convey a meaning or a message? Does the method or location of
00:23:44.700 expression, remove it from 2B protection. I don't believe that anything should be removed from 2B
00:23:52.740 expression. I am a free speech absolutist, and I think we need to bring that to our country.
00:23:58.620 Did the purpose or effect of the government action restrict your ability to convey that
00:24:02.800 meaning? Well, obviously. They want to pass a law that is unconstitutional. The charter protection
00:24:10.100 of free expression is very broad. Any activity is expressive if it attempts to convey meaning.
00:24:15.920 As outlined above, this would include talking, singing, clothing choices, signs on somebody's
00:24:20.460 property, artwork, gestures. Number two, does the method or location of expression remove it from
00:24:26.180 2B? Even if an activity has expressive content, 2B protection may be denied and the method or
00:24:32.500 location of expression removes it from 2B scope. Violence, I guess, threats of violence not protected
00:24:38.780 by 2b so that's the sticking point what exactly is the definition today's definition of violence
00:24:46.460 and who gets to define it this is neo-marxism it's no longer control of uh the means of
00:24:55.540 production it's control of the means of communication and information that's how it's
00:25:02.520 evolved over the years and if you speak out against what they're trying to do you are somehow
00:25:08.560 penalized whether it's socially or criminally not all public places are protected by section 2b
00:25:16.000 it protects locations where freedom of expression would be expected and which does
00:25:20.080 not conflict with the purposes of section 2b democratic discourse truth finding and self
00:25:24.480 fulfillment so that's kind of a loophole for them to jump through to determine if free expression
00:25:30.720 would be expected in a place you have to consider two questions number one is it historical or
00:25:35.440 actual function of the place compatible with free expression what does that even mean
00:25:40.400 is the historical or actual function of the place compatible with free expression
00:25:49.460 is it located in a free country like canada then yeah number two are there any other aspects of
00:25:59.460 the space which indicate that allowing freedom of expression would undermine the core values
00:26:03.840 of freedom of expression under the charter?
00:26:08.680 Do you guys get that?
00:26:12.520 Are there any other aspects of the space,
00:26:15.440 the physical space,
00:26:16.960 where you are using your right of freedom of expression,
00:26:20.500 which indicate that allowing free expression
00:26:23.660 would undermine the core values
00:26:26.140 of freedom of expression under the charter?
00:26:30.320 Number three, did the purpose or effect
00:26:31.760 of the government action restrict your ability
00:26:33.720 to convey that meaning government action will infringe to be if it has the purpose or effect
00:26:39.960 of restricting expression well that's what that law is that's what denialism you cannot say like
00:26:47.380 what is that anyway denialism i say that certain aspects of their story not all but certain aspects
00:26:54.640 of their story are absolute steaming piles of bs having said that the 60s scoop people being taken
00:27:03.440 from their homes and families, and this goes back over a hundred years, was absolutely abominable
00:27:09.520 and is a blight on Canadian history. I don't deny that. Not one bit. But what I do deny is the
00:27:18.800 lying. If you want to come out and tell us a story, then you'd better damn well have evidence
00:27:25.280 that this story is true. And if not, then sit down and shut up. But Leah Gazan, instead of sitting 0.99
00:27:32.900 down and shutting up, wants to criminalize those who ask the very question that I just asked.
00:27:41.160 Well, sometimes it's difficult to determine if a law's purpose seeks to control expression or
00:27:46.240 if it's merely aimed at the physical consequences of the expression. If a law is purely aimed at
00:27:51.860 the physical consequences of an activity, its purpose does not run afoul of section 2b.
00:27:57.160 This can be a confusing concept that's best explained by way of example. A law that prohibits
00:28:01.580 distributing pamphlets restricts expression because it seeks to control a person's ability
00:28:05.720 to communicate a message. On the other hand, a law that prohibits littering may adversely
00:28:11.120 impact the distribution of pamphlets, but its purpose is aimed at consequences, not the expression
00:28:15.980 itself. Okay, so now they want to talk about reasonable limits, hate speech, hate crimes,
00:28:22.520 obscenities, and all of that stuff. It's very interesting that, you know, even obscenities,
00:28:29.680 even hate speech hate speech should probably be protected under the freedom of expression
00:28:38.160 section 2b of the charter unless it invokes violence if somebody comes on social media and
00:28:47.600 well i'm not going to say it here because i might get arrested but you know what i'm talking about
00:28:51.580 comes on here and says go there and do this well that's incitement to violence which is a crime
00:28:58.480 anyway. If somebody comes on here and starts spewing hate speech against a certain racial
00:29:07.000 group or a certain person, well, that person is an idiot and also can probably be sued for 1.00
00:29:13.000 defamation, but it shows you exactly who that person is and is probably not to be listened to. 0.98
00:29:21.200 Why do they want to restrict speech from people who are showing you exactly who they are? The
00:29:28.140 second they open their mouths. They want to chill free speech because they want to control the means 0.97
00:29:34.860 of information and communication. What is the problem? They're pretty much in agreement that
00:29:41.740 the Indian residential school system is one of our worst national crimes. With this proposal that 0.99
00:29:48.660 Leah Gazan made on Friday, this is a Toronto Sun columnist talking about that very thing. If you
00:29:54.240 Look at poll numbers, near universal numbers of Canadians now believe it was a catastrophically 1.00
00:29:59.000 bad idea to forcibly remove children from their homes and send them to abusive, assimilationist
00:30:04.460 boarding schools swarming with disease.
00:30:07.260 But that hasn't stopped a top-level obsession with the issue of so-called residential school
00:30:11.600 denialism.
00:30:12.600 Kimberly Murray, the special interlocutor on unmarked graves at residential schools, even
00:30:16.760 recommended that such talk be criminalized.
00:30:20.060 The problem with this is that the term is used so broadly by academics and government
00:30:24.460 that it's sometimes applied to things that are true.
00:30:27.660 Earlier this year, a Vancouver-area teacher was fired as a denialist for saying that most
00:30:32.260 residential school deaths were due to disease, which was confirmed by No Less Than the Truth
00:30:36.980 and Reconciliation Final Report.
00:30:39.620 Or you could be written up as a denialist for citing the rare instances of students
00:30:43.540 who had positive experiences at residential school, which was absolutely not the norm,
00:30:48.800 it did happen something else the truth and reconciliation report does mention
00:30:53.220 okay you can't even say that was far from the norm you can't say that you cannot say that
00:31:03.880 because you don't know you haven't got the figures in front of you all you've got are people yelling
00:31:10.100 and screaming that they were abused at residential schools but you do not hear the positive voices
00:31:16.080 So how could he ever make a statement like that? Well, I agree with him in principle. 0.98
00:31:22.200 I don't agree with his summation at the end. It couldn't be true because he hasn't got
00:31:28.680 the statistics to back it up. All right, let's get back to this here. Black Lives Matter. This
00:31:34.500 is Patrice Coulor. She is one of the founders of Black Lives Matter, which was an organization
00:31:40.080 that was funded publicly in the United States, but also by groups funded by George Soros.
00:31:47.500 Listen to her talk in this interview about being a trained Marxist.
00:31:52.900 He was concerned or is concerned that there's a lack of perhaps ideological direction in Black Lives Matter
00:32:00.560 that would allow it to fizzle out, as he said, in comparison to Occupy Wall Street.
00:32:07.880 As you are advanced in your own organization, as you all are headed to Cleveland to participate in this Black Lives Movement conference, how do you respond to that particular critique?
00:32:21.540 Again, a loving critique from an elder of the struggle that some others share, that I've even shared as well, to be frank, is a concern about, in part because of the cooptation and the appropriation, that a more clear ideological structuring might be of some value here.
00:32:39.300 But how do you respond to those kinds of, again, loving criticisms?
00:32:44.880 I think that the criticism is helpful.
00:32:48.880 I also think that it might,
00:32:54.220 I think of a lot of things.
00:32:55.640 The first thing I think is that
00:32:57.120 we actually do have an ideological frame.
00:32:59.520 Myself and Alicia in particular are trained organizers.
00:33:04.440 We are trained Marxists.
00:33:08.520 We are super versed on sort of ideological theories.
00:33:13.520 versed um on sort of ideological theories there it is she is a trained marxist this is the
00:33:22.700 super versed in ideological theories here's a story from mike gonzalez from heritage.org
00:33:30.220 actually not so much a story as it is an editorial piece there's patrice again um you may not hear
00:33:37.680 And again, Black Lives Matter is pretty much the same thing as Every Child Matters in Canada.
00:33:45.240 It's based upon the same principles in terms of their ideologies, right? 1.00
00:33:49.560 Colonizers. 0.64
00:33:51.420 You may not hear as much now about Black Lives Matter as you did in the fateful year 2020.
00:33:57.040 But rest assured, it's still deeply affecting key aspects of our lives today. 0.66
00:34:02.020 The divisive critical race theory conflicts, conflicts flaring across the country are a legacy of BLM.
00:34:09.580 So is the crime wave that blights our cities, as are the race conscious policies that Joe Biden is signing into law.
00:34:17.740 Not bad for organizations founded by Marxists who set out explicitly to dismantle the foundations of American society.
00:34:26.200 As he explains in his book, BLM, The Making of a New Marxist Revolution.
00:34:29.700 um alicia garza one of the main blm founders made her goals clear in maine in 2019 when she told a
00:34:38.520 group of eager new england leftists we're talking about changing how we've organized this country
00:34:44.020 so that we actually can achieve the justice that we're fighting for i believe we all have work to
00:34:50.300 do to keep dismantling the organizing principle of this society which creates inequities for
00:34:55.340 everyone, even white people. Notice she didn't say inequalities, she said inequities, D-E-I,
00:35:02.480 diversity, equity, inclusion, which is all part of the critical race theory mantra, the ideology,
00:35:08.220 which is Marxist. Ripping out the foundations of American society is exactly what these
00:35:16.500 indoctrinating school or those indoctrinating school children and putting American workers
00:35:21.040 through re-education sessions or struggle sessions, as we saw a couple of weeks ago
00:35:25.660 in that Alberta MLA's struggle session. School teachers now proudly and openly explain on social
00:35:34.720 media they bring critical race theory to the classroom to challenge a broken system. Meanwhile,
00:35:39.660 beleaguered employees are having to resort to lawsuits to stop their companies from trying
00:35:44.960 to re-educate them through critical race theory. America proudly and rightly proclaims itself the
00:35:50.780 land of the free. So how did we get here? Black Lives Matter brought us here. Every Child Matters
00:36:00.140 brought us here. Critical race theory is the belief that America, Canada, pretty much any
00:36:08.700 western country, is systematically racist and oppressive and has been so since its founding
00:36:14.660 and that all racial disparities are the result of that. The only way to solve those problems is
00:36:19.720 through re-educating people into those beliefs and through category-based redistribution which 0.61
00:36:26.440 will require discriminating legally against whites and men. Not for nothing is Biden now
00:36:33.420 signing into law bills that openly and explicitly discriminate against whites. We've seen that in
00:36:38.160 Canada also. We're still seeing it in Canada. Critical race theory founders are Marxists
00:36:42.980 like Garza who also question the very foundations of the liberal order including equality theory.
00:36:49.420 All right, let's take this off the screen for a second. You guys have heard me talk about Dr. James Lindsay before. Here he is discussing Marxism.
00:36:57.640 The question of the whole conference, which is a three-meeting session that I was at the first one, was what is woke and what does it mean for Europe?
00:37:07.700 And so I tried to give, in a sense, a genealogy of woke.
00:37:12.100 And actually, a taxonomy is more accurate.
00:37:14.680 I started off by saying, well, I think that woke is, in fact, Marxism that's evolved to attack the West.
00:37:20.700 And the techniques it's using are reminiscent of Mao's cultural revolution.
00:37:25.080 And so you can say that it's Marxist or Maoist.
00:37:27.620 But then I said, we can't understand that unless we understand Marxism in a bigger way.
00:37:32.500 If we focus on his economic analysis and capital, we miss the entire picture.
00:37:37.440 If we take a step back and say that he outlined an entire theory of man and the world and our behavior in it and the meaning of life and purpose, telos for our being, which is to transform the world into the socialist utopia, to advance history to its intended end.
00:37:53.880 then you can see that the particular mode of analysis becomes fungible.
00:37:59.520 If it's economic analysis for Marx, then you get classical Marxism.
00:38:03.940 If it's race analysis for the critical race theorists, it's almost—you have to massage around the edges,
00:38:09.020 but it's almost the exact same architecture.
00:38:10.560 Well, that's certainly what it seemed to me to be.
00:38:12.700 One of the things that's been disturbing, I suppose, on the gaslighting front is
00:38:17.040 whenever I draw a relationship between postmodernism and neo-Marxism,
00:38:21.980 first of all, people say two things that I don't know what I'm talking about, which, by the way,
00:38:26.100 is rarely the case. And second, that, you know, that's a conspiratorial misreading of the
00:38:31.920 relationship, that there's nothing, that most postmodernism has nothing to do with Marxism.
00:38:36.060 And, you know, I've taken that criticism seriously, because it happens a lot. I think, well,
00:38:40.740 you know, is there some manner in which I have this wrong? And then I go back as much as I can
00:38:45.560 to the source documents, including Foucault, and I think, and Derrida, and I think, well,
00:38:50.680 they said they were Marxists. That seems like, you know, proof. And the entire intellectual
00:38:57.480 milieu at that time in France was Marxist, including people who should have known better
00:39:01.860 like Jean-Paul Sartre. So, it's like that was the water in which those particular fish swam.
00:39:09.120 And the postmodernists, when they themselves say that their, what would you say, that their
00:39:16.900 intellectual effort is tending in the Marxist direction or is an extension of Marxism,
00:39:21.900 I'm pretty much inclined to believe them. And so, I don't understand how this notion that those two
00:39:28.380 concepts are separate has come about. Do you have any idea about that?
00:39:35.520 I do. I've thought tremendously on this question, and I believe I have an answer.
00:39:41.140 And kind of like yourself, if I open my mouth, usually I've thought about something before I
00:39:44.960 spout off. In this case, it's the nature of the way these theories evolve. They evolve through what
00:39:52.320 technically is called dialectical critique. Each descendant theory, say if we use Marxism
00:39:58.080 as the common ancestor, if you will, and that's what I did, by the way, in the EU, as I said,
00:40:02.800 it's think of Marxism as a genus, and then you have all these species. Well, postmodernism is
00:40:08.160 a species, but they evolve through dialectical critique. For each new derivative that comes
00:40:13.760 out say postmodernism they have to create themselves by giving a critique of the thing
00:40:20.400 that they were before so they start by saying here's where marxism is wrong and academics
00:40:26.160 hyper focus on these distinctions and they say look i see they said that's what you think they
00:40:30.800 say just like you say well they say that they're marxists that looks like proof they say well they
00:40:35.360 said we're criticizing marx so that's proof that they're different and the neo-marxists are no
00:40:40.240 exception. And you'll find literal Marxists today. So you think it's narcissism of small differences,
00:40:44.720 to use the Freudian term. I do. I do. Yeah. So there's a level of analysis at which these,
00:40:48.800 I think your genus and species metaphor is a good one. So there's a level of analysis at which these
00:40:55.600 are all variations on a theme. And there's another level of analysis where, well, no,
00:40:59.600 they're distinctly different, which is exactly what does happen in academic micro arguments.
00:41:04.880 Right. So you think part of that's, well, I think part of it's just the attempt to sow
00:41:08.160 confusion as well. Oh, probably. So, or, and then also ignorance on the part of the critics,
00:41:13.040 because they just don't know enough about what they're talking about to even know that there's
00:41:16.200 a relationship between postmodernism and new Marxism and Marxism. I guess the other issue
00:41:21.220 too, is that in principle, the postmodernists were skeptical of metanarratives. And it does seem
00:41:30.560 not unreasonable to point out that Marxism is a grand metanarrative. And so if you're skeptical
00:41:36.120 about metanarratives, you know, you might start out by being skeptical about Marxism. And if you
00:41:40.980 just focused on the postmodern critique of metanarrative, then you'd say, well, it couldn't
00:41:45.620 be allied with Marxism because Marxism is a metanarrative. But my response to that would be,
00:41:50.240 what makes you think that incoherence ever bothered a postmodernist? Right. In fact,
00:41:54.900 they specialize in incoherence. And I think because it can sow discord and chaos most effectively.
00:42:00.980 This is why this metaphor, the genus species is so important. And for me,
00:42:04.580 this, you know, well, Marxism is a grand metanarrative, et cetera, this is almost like saying, imagine that the animal clade that we're talking about is something to do with cats, right?
00:42:14.420 And so now we have cats, tigers, well, tigers have a tail, right? And then lions, and lions have a tail, and house cats, house cats have a tail.
00:42:23.880 So cats have tails, right? Well, not bobcats, not lynxes.
00:42:26.580 And so if we think of the tale as being a grand metanarrative, in fact, the broad historicism of classical Marxism, you find both neo-Marxism or critical Marxism and postmodernism are becoming skeptical of this kind of grand trajectory of history narrative that was kind of the early modern thought.
00:42:46.040 And as we shift from modern thinking to postmodern thinking, away from the scientific and into
00:42:51.040 the kind of blatantly mystical and romantic, which the postmodernists are wholly characterized
00:42:57.600 by, you can just imagine it.
00:42:59.280 It's a cat without a tail.
00:43:00.280 Yeah, yeah.
00:43:01.280 I see if we do this, you know, I said Marxism is economic and critical race theory is race. 0.80
00:43:05.500 And we can say that queer theory is the concept of who defines what's normal. 0.77
00:43:09.760 Postmodernism is really a Marxist analysis of who gets to say what things mean. 0.62
00:43:16.040 who gets to say what things mean what is violence what is a vaccine etc etc etc
00:43:26.000 it's about controlling the means of communication and information my friends
00:43:32.640 so this is how it's evolved and those guys going deep and discussing post-modernism and all that
00:43:39.200 ultimately the bottom line is cultural marxism is wokeism is political correctness so when was your
00:43:49.300 first experience with political correctness go back go back and i'm talking about a public
00:43:57.140 situation i'm not talking about insulting somebody and then feeling bad about it later at a dinner
00:44:01.800 table or at a family gathering or something like that i'm talking about in a public or or better
00:44:07.680 yet when you first heard it maybe on television in a tv show or on radio go back right now i just
00:44:14.480 want you to think this is a thought experiment go back and think about when's the first time you
00:44:19.100 heard something like this for me it was in the 80s now this is going to be ambiguous but in the 80s
00:44:26.340 i remember my program director at the radio station i was working at coming up to me and
00:44:30.640 saying be careful what you say on radio today because there's this new organization called
00:44:34.420 Media Watch listening to everything. And if they nail us, we're going to have to go in front of
00:44:39.400 the CRTC and the CBSC and explain ourselves. And I went, like, what? And he couldn't come up with
00:44:46.560 an answer for me. So it just kind of worked out to, well, don't demean women. So why would I
00:44:53.060 demean women? Well, don't even do it by accident. So all of a sudden, now you're walking on eggshells
00:44:59.480 And you really, really have to be careful what you're saying.
00:45:02.620 That was like 1985 or 1986.
00:45:04.660 And then a few years later, it was all about happy holidays.
00:45:09.040 And this was at my son's elementary school during one of his Christmas concerts.
00:45:12.960 They called it a holiday concert, I think when he was in fourth or fifth grade.
00:45:18.380 So that would be sometime in 90, 91 in that area.
00:45:21.600 So that would be my first real experience with it.
00:45:24.620 And I remember because I'm very outspoken, as you might be able to tell if you're a newcomer,
00:45:28.840 if you're a regular viewer of this show you guys know this right i walked in there i went happy
00:45:33.120 holidays what the hell is that merry christmas everybody how you doing but then it started to
00:45:39.980 go around community clubs you know all of a sudden it was happy holidays best of the season
00:45:45.300 and christmas was being left out because we were offending anybody who was not a christian
00:45:51.020 apparently and now it's gotten pretty bad to the point where does christmas today seem the same as
00:45:58.520 it dead even five or six years ago? Does it seem as celebrated? I'm not talking about your
00:46:06.900 individual family and friends. I'm talking about ads that you may see on TV or malls when you go
00:46:14.540 there. Does it seem as festive? To me, it doesn't. Now, maybe I'm hypersensitive to it, and I'm
00:46:21.600 seeing too much, and maybe it's not real, but I get the feeling that they're trying to get rid
00:46:27.260 of christmas completely it's not just you can't say merry christmas anymore now it's like forget
00:46:34.260 about christmas christmas is gone no more christmas ever because they're trying to get
00:46:39.180 rid of christianity they're still burning churches i want to go to the comments here
00:46:44.020 and i want to see what you guys are saying regarding your first experiences with political
00:46:49.180 correctness or wokeism as it went on to evolve which is now neo-marxism anybody got anything
00:46:56.700 in here?
00:47:13.300 Tammy, I know you're late. What the hell? 0.98
00:47:15.660 What's the matter? 1.00
00:47:18.860 Body push-ups. 1.00
00:47:19.940 much less commercialism lucette says
00:47:27.060 okay well then let's just move along here in our cultural marxism discussion
00:47:39.160 op-ed from tnc from brock elden now brock is an associate editor of the c2c journal born and
00:47:48.080 Raised in Owen Sound, Ontario, Eldon earned his B.A. and M.A. in English Language Literature
00:47:52.500 from Western University and Queen's University, respectively. Inspired to write and to see the
00:47:57.980 world, he began his time overseas teaching English and writing in East and Southeast Asia,
00:48:01.920 beginning in South Korea, China, and Vietnam. With experience in more than 10 other countries,
00:48:06.520 he settled in Hanoi, Vietnam, where in 2018, he earned a position teaching English for university
00:48:11.360 and foundations in literature at RMIT University, which he held until early 2024. He's got a book
00:48:17.960 out now. It's called Ground Zero in the Culture War. I'll be trying to get him on the show
00:48:22.360 at his earliest convenience. He wrote this piece in TNC last year, almost exactly a year ago.
00:48:29.820 I'm a trained Marxist, a woman with a PhD cohort ahead of me proclaimed with open pride
00:48:35.100 at a department-wide event held for the Queen's University English Department
00:48:39.360 when I was a graduate student there. We're all trained Marxists here.
00:48:43.680 i saw who was it catherine uh watching tonight ask about trained marxists where do you think
00:48:53.140 they come from they come from universities catherine they come from our public school
00:48:58.960 system first where they're kind of molded and then completely and totally hardcore trained
00:49:05.300 in the university system not a word was said not an objection raised in response but why
00:49:10.560 should a student of literature be any kind of Marxist, much less a trained one? Shouldn't such
00:49:17.140 a student still have an open mind? In my first column, Brock says, of this three-part series,
00:49:24.040 I detailed my initial hopes for the future of the humanities when I entered university as
00:49:28.660 an undergraduate. It's my intention here to shed light on what I consider the most concerning
00:49:33.640 issue that faces my generation, a crisis whose birth I witnessed firsthand while pursuing my
00:49:39.100 MA in English language and literature. This followed two years spent living either in
00:49:44.060 extremely close proximity to or directly in the maws of literal communism regimes in East and
00:49:49.420 Southeast Asia, North Korea, China, and Vietnam. This time abroad bestowed upon me this particular
00:49:59.120 understanding to distinguish a totalitarian from a free society in which the individual would
00:50:04.640 choose to dwell. What I then witnessed at Queen's was the full-scale breakdown of a Canadian
00:50:10.580 university into an ideologically defective and indescribably dangerous place for a free thinker.
00:50:18.560 This manifests and takes hold ideologically in the university classroom from the very outset
00:50:23.960 with the establishment of classroom and program expectations. As Brock detailed in his previous
00:50:30.120 column the students which employed with the tools to disgrace and defame the greatest writers in
00:50:35.720 the history of english from chaucer to shakespeare to t.s elliott did not read they raged it didn't
00:50:41.880 even matter if they had actually read or could write everyone got an a what was the point when
00:50:49.640 all one had to do to ensure a strong enough transcript for future applications to bhd
00:50:54.760 programs was to accept and regurgitate the externally imposed beliefs. These are the
00:51:01.060 classroom effects of radical leftism, neo-Marxism, post-modernism, wokeism, call it what you will.
00:51:07.580 But where does all of this come from? Our academics in fields, including though far from limited to
00:51:13.700 the humanities, are not engaged primarily in the deep and generative study of great books,
00:51:18.900 people and events in the human story. One must become an activist in order to become an academic
00:51:23.680 in Canada. With the backing of the state and taxpayers' money, our universities have become
00:51:29.280 weaponized propaganda wings. Inflated grades reward the brainwashed, filling seats and keeping
00:51:34.520 students in line. This has been driven by postmodern neo-Marxism, which swaps the economics
00:51:40.380 of Marx's dogma for identity categories, including race and gender. This came about through the
00:51:47.140 emergence of news in the 1950s, 70s, that the Soviet experiment had failed, following which
00:51:52.700 self-proclaimed Marxist intellectuals, prominently including the Frenchman Michel Forcat and Jacques
00:51:58.940 Derrida, looking to save face, applied the Marxist dialectic to a new target, humanities departments
00:52:05.500 at universities across North America, Yale University, and others. Over time, and along
00:52:14.660 with other drivers, the post-modernists turned academic research into a mechanism for the
00:52:19.460 perpetuation of one objective diversity equity and inclusion or so-called anti-racism okay that's
00:52:25.700 enough of that well let's see what some of the other because i believe and this is something i
00:52:33.360 haven't heard anybody speak about yet i believe that this is just a way station on the road to
00:52:42.960 complete and total totalitarianism, right? Because imposing a law like Leah Gazan proposed on Friday
00:52:50.860 would be incredibly difficult, wouldn't it? I mean, first of all, you have to convince police,
00:52:57.660 you're going to go arrest that guy because he called you a name. And maybe it wasn't even a
00:53:04.940 name. Maybe you just perceived it to be a name, which then you perceive to be violence. That's
00:53:11.660 going to be tough even with the left-wing corporate media they how could they possibly
00:53:17.240 the left-wing corporate media how could they possibly ever look at something like this and
00:53:22.800 go yeah that's that's definitely democratic absolutely it works it's fair for everybody
00:53:27.400 how could they ever say that and what do you think the percentage of canadians opposed to
00:53:33.500 something like this might be people who still call you a conspiracy theorist for your beliefs
00:53:39.500 in lockdowns, vaccines and whatnot that happened during COVID might even be siding with us on this
00:53:45.080 one going, well, you know what, that's going too far. And I believe that's what's happening with
00:53:49.760 people all across the West. Now people are finally waking up, standing up and saying, well, that goes
00:53:53.920 too far. But what happens when they bring in bio-digital convergence? What happens when digital
00:54:02.600 ID and digital money come into play. And what about this? Because it's all about the climate,
00:54:10.040 right? Oh, it's all about that climate emergency. Canada considering imposing climate fees on air
00:54:14.940 travel. Now, if you complain, if you step up and complain, Leah Gazan's bill would call you a
00:54:19.760 denialist saying, hey, wait a minute, there's no climate emergency. And even now, as I say those
00:54:25.380 words, I'll bet the algorithms on YouTube are looking to shut me down or at least post up a
00:54:31.300 warning beneath the screen something about climate change is not whether it is the circumstances of
00:54:37.680 decades-long study blah blah blah blah blah just by saying what i just said in the last 10 seconds
00:54:42.880 that's cultural marxism is what that is controlling the message that's what all this censorship has
00:54:48.120 been now the canadian government is considering slapping air travelers with a climate surcharge
00:54:54.920 a recent federal poll suggests. Environment and climate change, Canada, used to be just the
00:55:01.780 environment department, now it's environment and climate change, headed by Stephen Gilbo.
00:55:06.080 The Trudeau administration's environmental department commissioned an internal survey to
00:55:10.400 gauge whether Canadians who book flights would be willing to pay extra money for climate change.
00:55:15.220 When asked if they would pay an additional fee so airlines can purchase sustainable aviation fuel,
00:55:19.800 63 percent of respondents said they were opposed to the idea thank god when asked if they would
00:55:26.820 pay an additional fee so airlines can purchase carbon emissions offsets 65 percent said no
00:55:32.380 sorry by the way what exactly are these carbon emissions offsets well we're going to take the
00:55:39.260 money the extra money that you have to pay us we're going to plant trees with that
00:55:43.440 so it'll offset the carbon footprint of this flight that's that's my understanding of what
00:55:52.860 these offsets are which is completely preposterous the poll also asked residents that they would pay
00:55:58.880 a surcharge up to 50 on flights costing 500 or more only 30 said they would support the measure
00:56:04.760 according to a report from rebel news so it looks like it looks like at least at this stage of the
00:56:10.600 game. And I do believe all this climate alarmism is now on the downslope. At least I'm hoping
00:56:17.600 that's the vibe I'm getting. So it looks like that may be down the toilet for all of the
00:56:22.640 progressives. But what about the digital currency? Even though the Bank of Canada said just last
00:56:27.700 week, hey, look, we're scrapping this idea. We've been doing surveys and nobody's in favor of
00:56:32.880 anything to do with digital currency, the CBDC thing. No, central bank digital currencies,
00:56:38.180 programmable digital currencies i don't think so because basically then what you're dealing with
00:56:42.420 as a consumer is a digital coupon that they can turn on or off depending on your behavior
00:56:51.380 climate behavior maybe it's your behavior in the street maybe you jaywalked and one of the cameras
00:56:56.500 caught it like in china and your social credit score goes from 950 to 925 and then you do
00:57:01.620 something else like insult somebody in the street cameras pick it up that's another 25 points you go
00:57:06.740 go below 750 and now all of a sudden your internet slows down go below 400 or 500 and you move from
00:57:14.360 a two-bedroom to a one-bedroom that's how that works over there and if we allow if we continue
00:57:21.800 just going then that's what's going to happen here as well not just here but in the united
00:57:28.800 states that's why the election down there is so bloody important
00:57:31.820 so beware of the government's push for a digital currency government wants your money it will beg
00:57:39.680 steal borrow if necessary but it wants your money anyway it can get it the government's schemes to
00:57:45.020 swindle cheat scam and generally defraud taxpayers of their hard-earned dollars have run the gamut
00:57:50.340 from wasteful pork barrel legislation cronyism and graft to asset forfeiture costly stimulus
00:57:56.360 packages and a national security complex that continues to undermine our freedoms while failing
00:58:01.020 to make us any safer. Americans have also been made to pay through the nose for the government's
00:58:07.240 endless wars, subsidization of foreign nations, military empire, welfare state, roads to nowhere,
00:58:13.000 bloated workforce, secret agencies, fusion centers, private prisons, biometric databases,
00:58:18.400 invasive technologies, arsenals of weapons, and every other budgetary line item that's contributing
00:58:23.960 to the fast-going wealth of the corporate elite at the expense of those who are barely making ends
00:58:28.380 meet. That's us. Taxpayers. This is what comes from 1.2 trillion spending bills. Someone's got
00:58:37.360 to foot the bill. Because the government's voracious appetite for money, power, and control 0.95
00:58:43.280 has grown out of control. Now this guy says government. I think it's a couple of layers
00:58:48.660 above the government, but we all know that already. Their agents have devised other means
00:58:56.600 of funding their excesses and adding to their largesse through taxes disguised as fines,
00:59:01.280 taxes disguised as fees, taxes disguised as tolls, tickets, and penalties. No matter
00:59:05.540 how much money the government pulls in, it's never enough. So the government has to keep
00:59:10.980 introducing new plans to empower its agents to seize Americans' bank accounts, make way for the
00:59:16.320 digital dollar. Whether it's the central bank digital currency favored by Biden or the
00:59:22.300 cryptocurrency being hawked by President Trump, the end result will still be a form of digital
00:59:27.480 money that makes it easier to track control and punish the citizenry. For instance, weeks before
00:59:34.080 the Biden administration made headlines with its support for a government-issued digital currency,
00:59:38.300 the FBI and the Justice Department quietly moved ahead with plans for a cryptocurrency enforcement
00:59:43.960 team, a virtual asset exploitation unit tasked with investigating crypto crimes and seizing
00:59:49.360 virtual assets, and a crypto czar to oversee it all. No surprises, of course. This is how the
00:59:54.660 government operates, by giving us tools to make our lives easier, while in the process making it
01:00:00.420 easier for the government to crack down. Indeed, this shift to a digital currency is a global
01:00:05.860 trend. More than 100 other countries are considering introducing their own digital currencies.
01:00:14.380 Trump, too. Trump is big into crypto. He's big into Bitcoin.
01:00:19.360 Here is Ezra Levant guesting on the Alex Jones show on InfoWars.
01:00:24.520 Let me tell you what's going on in Canada, because that I can report with first-hand observation.
01:00:29.020 Justin Trudeau, he's very unpopular right now, and he has it in his mind that he can fix that by censoring things.
01:00:35.460 He's brought in four different censorship laws.
01:00:38.300 C11, which is law, gives him dominion over the Indian. 0.90
01:00:40.880 And he ordered this years ago. 0.98
01:00:41.960 Yeah, and he has the power to order companies like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube to boost or de-boost the algorithm to hide or promote media of his choice.
01:00:52.240 So that's a government censor bureau.
01:00:53.720 Yeah, that's C11. C18 was he basically said to Facebook and Google, anytime you link to a Canadian news story, you've got to pay them.
01:01:02.000 You've got to pay to link to someone.
01:01:04.060 Facebook said, no thanks, we get out of the news business.
01:01:07.220 Google is forking over $100 million a year.
01:01:09.120 that gets parceled out to approved journalists i'll tell you about that in about 30 seconds
01:01:14.700 there's a bill in parliament right now called c63 includes a life in prison sentence for
01:01:21.840 standalone hate crimes includes um you can be liable for anything on your social media
01:01:27.760 going back to any as far as in time there's no statute of limitations as long as you have the
01:01:32.460 power to delete it today you're on the hook so they can complain not just for what you're doing
01:01:36.500 now, they can work their way back through your historical oeuvre, your portfolio of issues and
01:01:42.780 file a complaint. And every complaint that you get hit with is a $20,000 bounty to the complainant.
01:01:49.900 So what they're doing is they're opening up something called the Canadian Human Rights
01:01:52.280 Commission. If there's anything in social media you don't like, you can complain about it to this
01:01:56.920 Human Rights Commission. Malice. You don't even have to be the victim of the slur. If you get
01:02:02.680 the complaint adjudicated in your favor you get a 20 grand bounty and the person has to pay up to
01:02:08.200 50 grand to the government so he's basically while they're incentivizing going and being someone that
01:02:13.480 complains wow and here's the last so i mentioned c11 that's where they alter the algorithm to boost
01:02:18.300 or throttle their friends and enemies i mentioned c18 where they grab cash from the tech giants
01:02:22.880 to pay off their friends i mentioned c63 which has this bounty on hurt words but the last one
01:02:29.440 something that we're facing right now trudeau has created a news license a journalism license
01:02:33.920 because of the qcjl qualified canadian journalism organization and the government determines whether
01:02:39.360 or not you get that now if you don't get that you're still allowed to publish your website
01:02:44.080 but it's a credential you're denied so you can't go to government press conferences they won't let
01:02:48.000 us in uh you don't get any of the dough that's being handed out thirty thousand dollars per
01:02:54.320 journalist is the average subsidy in canada now we wouldn't take that but that's another thing
01:02:59.200 thing we're being denied. But here's what terrifies me. If you're not a QCJO news licensed
01:03:05.700 news outfit, you would never be, and we're not. Well, guess what Trudeau can say to the tech
01:03:10.780 companies? He would never say ban InfoWars. He would never say ban Rebel News. He would just
01:03:16.060 say, hey, big tech companies, boost the quality journalism and throttle the fake news. And I
01:03:24.080 didn't mention the word Rebel News, and I didn't mention the word InfoWars, but the QCJO news
01:03:29.000 license can tell you who's on which side and let's be clear google's been involved here and
01:03:33.340 with the eu they want they're setting up similar systems google wants this for some reason i don't
01:03:38.420 know why they like paying 100 million bucks a year for canadian journalists maybe because it sort of
01:03:42.260 makes them regulation because they're about management of information they're part of the
01:03:47.200 deep state and this gets them off the hook because trudeau is the guy who gets to determine who is
01:03:53.100 and isn't a fake news and then the google and the tech companies just implemented it so how do we
01:03:57.940 get rid of trudeau because i mean he only got like what 20 of the vote or something yeah and
01:04:01.980 right now in the polls he's he's so far behind well explain to people that don't live in a
01:04:06.100 parliamentary system how that happens well we don't well we're not gonna okay we all know the
01:04:10.540 parliamentary system but i will say this to you guys that in the latest polls it shows justin
01:04:16.300 trudeau while the liberal party at 22 percent and the ndp at 20 percent and the conservative party
01:04:26.460 at 43 percent. If you take Quebec out of the mix, then the Liberal Party falls to third place
01:04:36.380 behind the NDP. Their seat projection in this next election, whatever it happens to be, it could be
01:04:43.280 this year, it might be next spring, or it could be when the fixed election date law is in effect
01:04:48.660 next October. Their projected seat projection is anywhere between 30 and 50 at this stage of the
01:04:56.120 game, they will be reduced to a rump party. Elon Musk posted this, speaking of elections,
01:05:04.560 posted this on X just today. Very few Americans realize that if Trump is not elected,
01:05:14.260 again, we know that he is backing Donald Trump, this will be the last election.
01:05:20.440 far from being a threat to democracy he is the only way to save it let me explain even if one
01:05:29.720 in 20 illegals become citizens per year something the democrats are expediting as fast as humanly
01:05:35.640 possible that would be about 2 million new legal voters in four years the voting margin in the
01:05:41.820 swing states is often less than 20 000 votes that means if the democratic party succeeds there will
01:05:46.880 be no more swing states. Moreover, the Biden-Harris administration has been flying asylum seekers who
01:05:53.600 are fast-tracked to citizenship directly into swing states like Pennsylvania, Ohio, Wisconsin,
01:05:59.540 and Arizona. It's a surefire way to win every election. America then becomes a one-party state
01:06:06.620 and democracy is over. The only elections will be the Democratic Party primaries. This already
01:06:12.800 happened in California many years ago following the 1986 amnesty. The only thing holding California
01:06:19.260 back from extreme socialism and suffocating government policies is that people can leave
01:06:23.900 California and still remain in America. Once the whole country is controlled by one party,
01:06:29.400 there will be no escape. Everywhere in America will be like the nightmare that is downtown San
01:06:35.800 francisco here's one of our favorite european politicians christine anderson built a global
01:06:46.060 network it's not just happening germany or italy or spain or ukraine or canada or the united states
01:06:52.140 or australia it is happening in every single western democracy since they're all in lockstep
01:07:02.220 about abolishing freedom, democracy, and the rule of law
01:07:05.860 and making you nothing but underlings and peasants.
01:07:10.820 So it's up to us, the people.
01:07:17.300 We need to fight this together,
01:07:21.080 and that's why we need to build a global network
01:07:27.340 because we are so much more. 0.98
01:07:30.220 And we are even way more than the ridiculous puppets. 0.96
01:07:36.460 They call themselves like prime ministers and presidents, 0.98
01:07:40.420 stuff like that. 0.92
01:07:41.780 They're puppets.
01:07:43.340 So we are in this together.
01:07:45.420 We need to stick together and we need to fight.
01:07:52.380 Okay.
01:07:53.080 So how do we do this?
01:07:54.900 I'm going to get to that just a second.
01:07:56.560 I looked up a list of the worst dictators of the 20th century by death.
01:08:06.120 And I found the top two were Marxists.
01:08:11.980 Adolf Hitler is not one of the top two, by the way.
01:08:16.580 Joseph Stalin accounted for 23 million deaths because of the Great Purges and Ukraine's famine.
01:08:26.560 as part of the Marxist ideology. 0.73
01:08:29.960 Number one, Mao Zedong.
01:08:34.040 Between 49 and 78 million deaths.
01:08:38.240 Policy reforms like the Great Leap Forward
01:08:40.300 and the Cultural Revolution.
01:08:41.920 The Great Leap Forward was basically
01:08:43.560 anybody who clung to the old ways
01:08:45.840 was persecuted and killed.
01:08:48.840 Cultural Revolution is what we're facing right now.
01:08:53.580 So I'm going to ask you a question
01:08:56.140 and i would like you guys to reply in comments if you will
01:09:00.500 and that is
01:09:03.820 are we going to fight this thing
01:09:07.340 what are we going to do are we going to just kind of go with the flow and hope it just all goes away
01:09:20.380 one day or do we fight back do we stand up and say well that's enough of that
01:09:27.180 and it may go against the programming that you me too have been exposed to over the past 30 or 40
01:09:36.200 years from the canadian left-wing corporate media if you speak out about all of the illegal
01:09:42.240 immigrants that have come across our border in the past few years these asylum seekers as they're
01:09:47.820 called if you speak out do you feel inside that you're being racist or you don't want to speak
01:09:53.880 out publicly about it because you're you fear that somebody else will call you racist
01:09:58.220 i used to i'm going back a few years here but i used to feel those those things i don't anymore
01:10:08.260 and it's not because i hate people i don't but you know the more and more uh people i speak with
01:10:17.340 and i'm not talking about here on the show i'm talking about just in general in person
01:10:21.260 people who are immigrants who got here the right way legally they did the paperwork they waited
01:10:27.740 their their turn they did it right they do not like what's going on right now and the same thing
01:10:35.260 goes for the united states you see that all the time in articles and news stories
01:10:41.580 so we have to get past this whole we have to shake it off we have to shake off this
01:10:45.580 whole Canadiana thing. Canadians are nice. We never say anything bad. We don't talk badly about
01:10:50.580 people. We always say, I'm sorry, all of that nonsense. If we actually want to save Canada,
01:10:58.260 then we have to start standing up and pushing back. And if that means being called a bigot
01:11:04.140 or a racist or a homophobe or a climate denier or whatever that happens to be,
01:11:09.400 then we have to take that chance now i understand there can be some some fallout from doing
01:11:18.380 something like that if you go on your social media and you say uh listen any of the things
01:11:24.420 i just talked about your employer might come to you and say hey hey hey easy with those
01:11:28.500 political views on social media there bub to which you say this has nothing to do with you
01:11:35.680 this is my own personal facebook page i don't include my workplace anywhere on it and to be
01:11:42.420 safe to insulate yourself perhaps you should say views are my own on whatever social media you're
01:11:48.780 talking about x instagram facebook they're all the same just put it out there and say hey these
01:11:53.160 these are my views they don't reflect anybody else's or anything else's but mine these is what
01:11:59.040 I think. So are you afraid of being called names? Are you afraid of being attacked
01:12:05.080 by the other side? Because if you are, we haven't got a chance. You know, what I ask you guys,
01:12:14.760 you guys, I look at you guys as leaders, each and every one of you in your own community,
01:12:19.000 right? You're the ones who are going to be getting this out to people. When I ask you to like and
01:12:23.160 share, I'm not kidding. I want you to get this information out to as many people as we possibly
01:12:28.540 can because the more people who listen to this stuff the better off we're going to be and it
01:12:35.740 might take them a few days a few weeks a few months to absorb all of this information and then
01:12:40.620 maybe they'll finally stand up and do something about it but if you guys you guys are the beginning
01:12:46.300 if you guys don't share this stuff if you guys don't get this out there then all hope is lost
01:12:50.940 it's that important that we get this information out
01:12:58.200 because if we let this cultural marxism go any further
01:13:05.760 they will criminalize free speech they will become a team like what you've seen what's
01:13:11.380 happened in the uk where you put a meme on social media cops are knocking on your door
01:13:16.240 take you away and you know the the thing about that is they only have to do it a couple of times
01:13:23.740 they need to set an example so oh let's get this guy and then the news the left-wing corporate
01:13:31.720 media just covers it left on it looks bob uh barry from nipigan is arrested by police for
01:13:40.580 posting a racist meme on facebook and everybody sees that everybody's chilled and that's what
01:13:47.040 that is supposed to do it's supposed to create a chilling effect on people all across the country
01:13:52.660 a scaring a fear effect on people all across the country so you don't dare do it yourself
01:13:57.500 lest you be visited by the thug police and hauled away to jail for posting a meme
01:14:03.360 or your thoughts. If we let this go any further, we're screwed. 0.99
01:14:13.960 Pierre Polyev may or may not be a part of it, you guys. I'm not going to sit here and say one way or
01:14:18.620 the other, but I do get a kick out of the PPCs who come to me and say, Maxime Bernier is the only way.
01:14:23.140 Hey, look, Maxime Bernier went to Davos for the World Economic Forum. Pierre Polyev never did.
01:14:29.940 Maxime Bernier was in the cabinet as a senior minister of Stephen Harper.
01:14:34.800 Pierre Polyev was a junior minister.
01:14:38.320 Maxime Bernier has been a career politician just like Pierre Polyev.
01:14:41.500 So if you're going to sit there and tell me the PPC is any better than Pierre Polyev, I'm sorry.
01:14:47.480 But that's just not how it is.
01:14:50.500 So you can vote PPC all you like.
01:14:52.820 They've got 2% of the vote right now.
01:14:54.960 They're not going to get a seat.
01:14:56.440 It doesn't matter.
01:14:59.060 If you want to make sure that the liberals and the NDP and the Greens are destroyed in the next
01:15:04.300 election, the only way to do that is to vote for the Conservative Party of Canada. And hopefully
01:15:09.160 Pierre Polyev not only sticks to his word and does the things he's going to say he's going to do,
01:15:14.640 but also goes further and gets rid of all of the things that he sees are Marxist policies.
01:15:23.040 because remember he does believe that trudeau and his father before him were marxists
