00:07:30.000 Hello, everybody. Welcome to Shadow at Night. This is Friday, March the 1st, 2024.
00:07:38.160 No, Justin Trudeau has not resigned. He has not taken that long walk in the snow.
00:07:43.500 Everybody was predicting that yesterday would be the day, or maybe today would be the day,
00:07:48.200 because it would be the 40th anniversary of his father doing the same thing.
00:07:52.900 And many people thought that Trudeau would want to continue walking in his father's footsteps,
00:07:58.700 or who they say is his father.
00:08:02.320 But no, no, he is still the Prime Minister of Canada
00:08:05.620 and still denying any kind of responsibility
00:08:10.000 for the latest scandal, which is the Winnipeg Virology Lab
00:08:14.080 and the firing of those two Chinese nurses four years ago. 0.91
00:08:18.960 Karen Kingston talked about that last night 0.92
00:08:20.900 after reading just 60 pages of the 627-page report.
00:08:26.360 She is going to finish reading that thing
00:08:28.320 At some point this weekend, she told me last night, and then she's going to come on again,
00:08:32.000 hopefully at some point next week, to summarize it for all of us.
00:08:35.820 And one thing that she's very good at is taking all of the important points from a large,
00:08:42.240 this is what she did for a living, from a large document like that and boiling it down
00:08:46.160 and telling us exactly what we need to know and what the government did wrong.
00:08:51.800 In this case, there are apparently many things.
00:08:54.060 If you missed the show last night, duh, many things, duh, if you missed the show last night
00:09:00.580 with Karen, please go have a look at it sometime this weekend when you have an opportunity.
00:09:05.800 Tonight, our guest is Kirk Reese.
00:09:08.240 He's got an incredible story.
00:09:11.180 Many of you have been asking me to have Kirk on the show probably for the past year, and
00:09:17.300 I have been hesitant to do so because Kirk's story is one-sided in that it's only
00:09:24.060 kirk telling it because none of the entities involved none of the ones who have been suppressing
00:09:29.160 him or badgering him or harassing him over the past 10 years now will give anybody any kind of
00:09:36.880 comment whatsoever officially or otherwise and so basically what it boils down to is a one-sided
00:09:44.280 story having said that i don't believe kirk to be a liar i believe that he wants to get this story
00:09:51.660 out there so people understand what he's been through. And I believe it's also Kirk's hopes
00:09:56.500 that this never happens to anybody ever again. So Kirk Reese will join the show in just a couple
00:10:02.920 of minutes. Let's see who's here tonight. Carla is watching in Calgary. Hello, Judy watching on

00:12:10.020 nano silver canada nano silver.ca a new addition to the product line here is the naked bandage
00:12:16.300 this strong and flexible bandage is clear so you can check up on your healing without having to
00:12:20.700 remove the bandage you know like looking going every two hours it's clear you can see it happening
00:12:28.400 right through the bandage itself.
00:12:30.480 It's ultra-thin.
00:12:31.600 Technology will move with your skin,
00:12:33.920 flexing over uneven tissue as needed.
00:12:36.020 The naked bandage is waterproof,
00:12:37.960 flexible, soft, and transparent.
00:12:39.680 It is a bandage that breathes and moves with your skin,

00:12:48.960 so like the name suggests,
00:12:50.300 your skin still looks and feels naked.
00:12:53.840 It is designed...
00:12:56.680 I always feel kind of giggly when I say naked.
00:12:59.580 It's designed for maximum protection, minimal visibility,
00:13:02.500 so it discreetly protects the skin through the day.
00:13:04.800 It even stays put in the shower or bath.
00:13:06.740 Simply cut it to the desired size and apply where you need.
00:13:09.800 As a bonus, it's also painless to remove,
00:13:12.380 so you don't have to worry about it pulling hair
00:13:14.120 or removing sensitive new growth tissue.
00:13:16.200 Simply peel a corner up of the bandage
00:13:19.020 and pull gently.
00:13:19.820 Pair it with nano silver gel for best effect and ultimate protection.

00:13:44.380 Again, that is canadatenanosilver.ca.
00:13:46.760 So Melissa, who is our amazing event coordinator for this big showcase, this Canadian Voices
00:13:53.020 Showcase, which is coming up in eight days in Swift Current, has found a new venue for
00:13:59.120 the event because the event was sold out, remember?
00:14:02.020 And it sold out about a week and a half ago.
00:14:04.220 And so people are saying, you know, it would be great if you could fit more people in somehow,
00:14:08.120 but there was a fire code issue.
00:14:09.640 And so what Melissa did was she went out and she found a larger venue.
00:14:13.380 So there are now 100, I'm sure it's less than this now, but as of yesterday, there were 125 new tickets available for this event in Swift Current in support of legal fees for Chris Barber and others.
00:14:25.980 So again, this is a week from tomorrow. Tickets are $50 per at the Stockade now, 1700, 17th Avenue Southeast in Swift Current.
00:14:34.480 But I will be there.
00:14:35.580 Ava Chipyuk's going to be there.
00:14:36.900 Tamara's playing with her band.
00:14:38.580 Blind Monday, of course, Chris is going to be there.
00:14:40.560 Chris Barber.
00:14:41.560 Tom Marazzo's going to be there with his book, The People's Convoy.
00:14:44.460 Even Jamie Saleh, apparently, is going to be there as well.
00:14:48.880 She says she's coming.
00:14:49.760 She's got two tickets, so we hope to see Jamie as well and you.
00:14:53.760 Guys, this is going to be a thrill.
00:14:56.220 And I know for everybody else, too.
00:14:57.820 I'm going to speak for everybody else here for just a second.
00:15:00.460 This is going to be a thrill for all of us to finally get a chance to meet you guys.
00:15:04.480 you guys who have been supporting freedom freedom of speech freedom of everything now for the past
00:15:10.280 three or four years so we're looking forward to a great event one week from tomorrow in swift
00:15:15.360 current for more information go to event bright and then type in chris barber or canadian voices
00:15:21.520 event in the search bar and you'll find it very very quickly again that is one week from tomorrow
00:15:28.040 ladies and gentlemen please welcome to the show former canadian forces member kirk reese
00:15:35.280 kirk thank you for joining the show tonight we really appreciate you taking the time
00:15:40.080 and i have to apologize to you for not having you on earlier but i was just trying to figure out a
00:15:47.220 way to tell your story because it is so involved and there's so much incredible detail and to be
00:15:54.020 completely honest it sounds so fantastic as to be like a movie script right yeah i get that a lot
00:16:00.380 thanks for thanks for getting me in and the thing is if my story got out years ago we would have
00:16:05.760 missed a whole bunch of bad people so the longer it took the more people that are incriminated so
00:16:10.920 let me ask you this and and this is kind of half joking you're not crazy right i'm not crazy my
00:16:19.040 My first military psychologist said, Kirk sounds crazy, he sounds paranoid, schizophrenic, sounds this, sounds like this, but he's not.
00:16:27.780 All Kirk has to do is get his documentation into the proper authorities within a two-week period, and that was March 28th, 2019.
00:16:34.940 And no one in the Canadian government, military, police force, CISO accept any of my evidence.
00:16:41.600 Nothing.
00:16:41.920 So you've never been crazy, even though you have had that diagnosis.
00:16:46.420 And I listened to your story from a couple of different sources over the past couple of years, and it's absolutely amazing.
00:16:53.560 The story doesn't change. The only thing that does change is the length of it.
00:16:57.180 And that's for time purposes on whichever broadcast medium you happen to be on or whoever was interviewing you.
00:17:03.800 So let's go back to the beginning of all of this, Kirk, when this whole thing first began.
00:17:09.040 You were a member of the Canadian Armed Forces, a ranger.
00:17:11.960 and you were just were you deployed or were you working in canada at that time the canadian
00:17:20.200 rangers they only work in canada they only do domestic issues like for they help in floods
00:17:25.660 fires uh evacuations uh we do a lot of rescues like people that are lost in the bush
00:17:30.960 we train a lot of rcmp and full red forces survival skills like worst case scenarios if
00:17:38.880 they have to survive by themselves which ironically is the story of my life lately
00:17:43.180 but we don't go overseas we we don't go to combat we're volunteers we're a gray area of the canadian
00:17:51.780 armed forces and just so you know i'm actually still serving because i was never legally released
00:17:55.600 so it'll be 12 years coming up october so you're still a member then well legally on paper i'm not
00:18:03.620 though it's a gray area i never met anyone for my release they just said you're done yeah i wasn't
00:18:10.740 able they can't just say that you have to you have to have signed papers don't you there it needs to
00:18:14.640 be some kind of documentation yeah they've been signing my papers since i joined in 2010 so are
00:18:20.080 they still paying you no i haven't been paid my last tasking was uh december 18th where the sergeant
00:18:26.780 major said i have to uh expose this and he knew i would never quit but uh i thought i'd be gone for
00:18:35.880 a week but it's okay than i thought let's go back to the beginning here and by the way you guys
00:18:42.620 we've been talking about corruption within the trudeau government well pretty much for the past
00:18:48.200 eight years ever since he's been the prime minister but it's ramped up a lot in the last
00:18:52.200 couple of weeks with the winnipeg virology lab story the arrives camps story on top of all of
00:18:56.920 the other scandals that he has been through but this in effect is uh trudeau government scandal
00:19:03.060 isn't it kirk it is but it's one where they're targeting uh one individual that can expose
00:19:09.440 everything like they they did the same thing to admiral norman but i don't think he had the years
00:19:13.980 of evidence i have you know and i was just a simple master corporal where he was second in
00:19:18.460 charge of the the fleet you know right and they look how they railroaded him so let's let's go
00:19:24.280 back to the beginning of this then and let's talk about when you first noticed that there was
00:19:30.320 something wrong because you were living your best life right i had my life was perfect i was like
00:19:36.300 i was i had everything i wanted in 2015 you know i said i'm just working now for my kids for you
00:19:42.780 know for their futures because i had my house everything was paid for how many kids do you
00:19:46.480 have you know and uh kirk how many how many kids do you have uh my eldest is 22 and i have a 10
00:19:56.140 and a nine-year-old that are with me here okay please continue yeah there was three years when
00:20:02.380 i never saw or talked to my daughter but i finally got her here which is just a godsend but uh yeah
00:20:09.160 i started in 2010 uh basically there was an ad in the newspaper saying who wants to be a ranger
00:20:15.760 you know you must be able to survive in the bush have survival skills uh they have snow machines
00:20:22.800 quads and stuff like that like my dad had planes and everything we both joined and then we found
00:20:27.600 out more about it and uh the rangers were started in 1947 i believe and their main goal is protecting
00:20:34.240 sovereignty and it was still our main goal they might have changed it lately but that's what we
00:20:38.560 were taught is our main goal is to protect Canadian sovereignty but now it's protecting it from the
00:20:44.800 from the inside not from the outside well let's let's get to that in a bit though like
00:20:49.440 why did you join did you join because of that particular premise that they were uh the rangers
00:20:55.120 were about protecting the sovereignty of the country or was it something that you had a
00:20:59.360 special skill set for uh well i was always raised in the bush and uh so i had lots of survival
00:21:05.520 skills like since i was a kid i was out there by myself you know my dad taught me everything my
00:21:12.160 grandfather also taught me he was a uh a park ranger like uh uh conservation officer ranger
00:21:20.080 smith gotcha yeah so we were in the in the bush a lot and i lived up north there's no one that's
00:21:26.320 that's going to come save you if you're stuck up there so uh i i joined just to give back
00:21:32.400 in case someone got lost or something that i could help them right that was my
00:21:37.120 my you know that was my goal and then i realized that they actually paid us for it i'm like holy
00:21:40.560 smokes that's even a bigger bonus you know so but it wasn't about the money for me or my father he's
00:21:46.400 he was very well off and i was doing okay we we joined it to give back to canada is what we
00:21:51.520 joined for what did you do before joining the rangers i was a master electrician so i did
00:21:58.000 contracts for like slumber j gold corp uh kamiko uh warehouser like i had big contracts with some
00:22:06.400 of the biggest companies in in in the world and uh you know i was well well on my way when i was 50
00:22:12.720 years old i was i was getting half million dollar contracts and everything was roses you know wow
00:22:19.120 wow i mean so you you didn't have to join the rangers you already had everything that you
00:22:25.280 wanted in life right yeah no i was quite happy or you know in 2010 i didn't quite have everything
00:22:30.640 but by 2015 i was i had everything so what year did you join again was it 2013 2014
00:22:37.520 2010 okay 2010 i joined but i was i was busy working in uh uh edmonton uh niscu and red deer
00:22:45.600 for slumber j doing trucking yards and stuff so you know i kind of left you're allowed to leave
00:22:52.160 and then uh because it's volunteer right so when i came back i saw that they were well we'll get
00:22:59.840 to that later but uh yeah i joined in 2010 i was on the unofficially or officially released 2019
00:23:07.920 october 1st but on the release it says if this release is found out to be there's no entity that
00:23:14.800 can change this release unless it's found out to be illegal or there were some obvious errors made
00:23:20.560 okay we'll get we'll get to all that i just i want to get back to the beginning of your service and
00:23:25.360 in the first few years your service was like exemplary it was exemplary until october 8th i
00:23:33.720 think it was when i told them i contacted the uh uh ombudsman october 8th of what year
00:23:40.280 oh that was 2018 okay so this is when all of the nightmares started for you
00:23:45.940 the biggest nightmare was 2018 there's a little bit in 2015 where they seized all my accounts for
00:23:51.300 reporting wrongdoing with a warrant officer but okay so let's go back to that then we don't we
00:23:56.500 don't really have to hurry with this i want to hear everything that's happened so 2015
00:24:00.640 you reported um misconduct wrongdoing from a superior officer right yeah 2015 uh i was working
00:24:09.440 in an estevan on fire remediation for slumber j they had a building that burned down and uh my
00:24:15.460 father phoned me up and he says kirk can you bring your guys over here back back to larange to uh
00:24:20.620 set up sprinklers for his house because there was fires coming so i went back there set all
00:24:25.740 the sprinklers up with my crew we went back to estevan and then my dad called me he's like kirk
00:24:30.460 i think you better get back here like estevan's far quite a distance from uh larange but so we
00:24:36.300 packed up our gear went back and i told the guys you know if you want to stay and fight fires you
00:24:40.780 can or we'll get to this job later but uh either way i went to larange and uh i was fighting fires
00:24:48.780 by myself for a few weeks before they evacuated everybody because uh our our cabin's uh 20 mile
00:24:55.580 or 18 miles north of larange so uh you know at first they said well you can't you can't go past
00:25:02.060 the the airport because there's guards there it's like well i had a great big dodge dually right
00:25:07.660 and i had a trailer full of water pumps and tanks on it and all my fighting firefighting gear and
00:25:14.380 and uh the army pulled me up this kirk are you certified to fight fires i'm like yeah i was
00:25:17.900 underground uh certified in in uh in fort max underground for for oil fires underground you
00:25:25.020 know like just certified or i mean i was certified on them so uh you know i was fighting fires and
00:25:34.460 then they they evacuated everybody so everyone's evacuated i'm like why are we kicking out these
00:25:40.940 guys like these young men and well the red cross is paying everybody a lot of money to go
00:25:47.900 to go away and it was like you know they got to go on a holiday a paid holiday because the
00:25:53.200 wait a minute wait a minute hold on as the fire is blazing they're paying people to just leave
00:25:58.980 yeah yeah and uh you know i thought well who's gonna help us right they had no intentions of
00:26:06.780 helping anybody put out any fires they wanted to just uh encircle larange and protect it which
00:26:11.920 makes sense you know but all the cabin orders that are dotted and there's there's a thousand
00:26:16.060 islands on that lake and uh you know so a lot of places were burning that i couldn't get to and i
00:26:21.580 was like well give me let's you know give me a couple guys and they so they sent a thousand guys
00:26:26.380 from the army up there with their labs light armored vehicles and i was like well where's
00:26:32.700 your boats you know like you need boats to come in nothing makes sense you guys can swim to the
00:26:39.660 islands you can take your big duallys up to the shore and then swim to the islands you need to get
00:26:43.900 too crazy yeah yep either way i could see that i wasn't gonna get any help and i accepted that
00:26:49.240 but i sent all my certifications in and they said okay kirk you're our number one ranger
00:26:54.640 just keep doing what you're doing and uh they said you'll uh sign all these pay sheets so i
00:27:00.320 signed a bunch of pay sheets and then they said okay well you don't have to sign anymore because
00:27:04.160 you're on combat pay like you don't have to come in every night because i was gone by myself right
00:27:07.920 well i was fine until i got a complaint from one of the civilians there saying that the
00:27:14.480 warrant officer was uh hitting on her a little too hard and so i she said can you talk to him so i
00:27:21.520 i talked to my commanding officer and i said look uh she's getting some grief from from the
00:27:26.160 warrant officer and uh she says yeah no that's obvious i said well you gotta you can't let that
00:27:32.720 happen you know like you gotta mention it to him but she went so i went and talked to him
00:27:36.320 wait a minute now this is a master officer master warrant officer that you're going to talk to but
00:27:42.280 but you're a master corporal so he outranks you he's way up above me yeah so why on earth would
00:27:49.480 they send you to talk to him well no this lady asked me like how do i deal with this and i said
00:27:55.260 well i'll just talk to the the uh uh uh patrol commander and she was a woman and i talked to
00:28:04.640 her about it she said yeah no that's obvious i'd be sitting on her i said well you got to tell him
00:28:07.700 to stop and she says well i'm not going to tell him you know so i went and told him i was like hey 0.98
00:28:12.000 you know she's a nice lady just leave her alone like cool your jets you know
00:28:15.080 and so how did that go for you i mean that's like that's like that's like a lieutenant telling a
00:28:23.560 general that he needs to stop doing something even if it's wrong and we all know it's wrong
00:28:28.340 right so that's you going against the chain here because you're trying to do the right thing
00:28:32.200 so how did that work out i was immediately pulled off the exercise and uh they said
00:28:39.220 we're not paying you anymore you know you're not you're not on the exercise do what you want to do
00:28:45.080 you know i'm like well i'm not gonna quit because all these places are burning so i just kept doing
00:28:49.280 my own thing and uh you know but i had a jet ski with a water pump on it i was saving cabins and
00:28:56.360 you know my jet ski blew up and i got towed back eventually like when i found out through the
00:29:01.840 Freedom of Information Act and got my pay stubs I was never there you know they had it so I was
00:29:06.600 never on the exercise when I found out in 2019 or 2018 what was going on I phoned Dundurn military
00:29:15.360 base and the doctor pulled up my records he says did you just join and I said no I joined in 2010
00:29:21.060 he's like that's not possible there's only one sheet of paper from Opulentus 2017 which is fires
00:29:26.960 in williams lake dc that i was on and he said that because i accidentally signed somebody else's paper
00:29:33.360 so there was no record they erased all of my records and uh you know what what what hold on
00:29:40.240 i mean like there's absolutely no paper trail in the entire in there except one paper from
00:29:47.440 op lentis 2017 in williams lake but i have videos and recordings of me with the patrol putting out
00:29:54.640 fires you know yeah yeah okay so clearly they were they were doing that for a reason but this
00:30:03.160 couldn't be simply because you talked to a master chief who was hitting on a woman and was
00:30:11.520 doing it improperly what else happened well we were there and uh every two years we have to
00:30:19.380 re-elect our patrol commanders uh it's in our constitution so we elected my best friend i
00:30:26.000 actually nominated him jim searson because you know the guy never really worked so he'd always
00:30:29.560 have time for the the paperwork end of it and his wife was the chief and i was like that's just win
00:30:35.120 win because then you know it'll help speed things along for rescues and stuff and i thought you know
00:30:42.080 it would stop what was going on but either way he was elected and things were kind of good again
00:30:48.140 we were going on all the exercises and then i i was signing blank sheets too much
00:30:54.140 what do you mean like we get paid cash for like if we have a truck that's being used it's 200
00:31:00.700 a day a quad 200 a day snow machine 200 a day a boat up to like 500 a day wait wait wait what do
00:31:09.460 you mean they're paying you cash why i mean everybody gets paid direct deposit even back
00:31:13.400 then no no i asked for direct deposit before i went back to red deer to work because i said look
00:31:20.100 this is too open to fraud and i didn't want to be part of it you know like i have a good reputation
00:31:24.620 my family's from the north for five generations right and i didn't want to be part of something
00:31:30.340 that was i said let's let's go direct deposit because that way there's no so they went to
00:31:34.640 direct deposit then i went to alberta to work and when i got back they were back to cash again
00:31:38.860 i'm just like oh you're back to cash wait a minute wait a minute when they're when they're
00:31:43.520 paying you cash like this is the canadian armed forces paying you right yeah and they're paying
00:31:50.100 you cash are you doing a sign out okay like i received like are you signing a receipt are they
00:31:55.500 giving you paperwork or is it just like somebody's standing behind a tree giving you money like
00:32:00.200 making a ring kind of a combination of both i would sign the sheet as if you're going on the
00:32:06.480 exercise and then if you didn't go on the exercise you just didn't get paid but if you did go on the
00:32:10.980 exercise maybe you'd get paid for some of it but not all of it it was always a crap shoot right
00:32:15.140 and the reason that is why we got cash is because most of the rangers are up north uh where there's
00:32:22.120 no banks like and like all these guys up in the noon event or wherever like there's no bank so
00:32:28.420 the cash and this is the only job that they have so you know they're not going to complain they'll
00:32:33.740 be happy with any money they get and you know on one weekend we can make four or five thousand
00:32:37.440 dollars in cash right you know it depends on how much exercise was and uh yeah i didn't feel
00:32:43.860 comfortable getting paid cash you know sure it's nice but uh i asked for my t-force because i had
00:32:50.500 to do my taxes right well they wouldn't they said you don't get t-force i'm like well that's pretty
00:32:56.220 weird but it's government right so i'm not gonna you would figure if anybody is going to give you
00:33:02.940 t4s it would be the government well it's the government but not the not the rangers
00:33:08.540 and i ask everybody else if you guys get t4s they're like nope so how are you supposed to
00:33:13.180 do your taxes without t4s well that's the thing is most of them are native people right so they
00:33:17.420 don't really have to worry about it so oh okay you know and it's lots of it's on reserves and
00:33:23.260 stuff and most of the people that are in it are like the chiefs or their families okay that's
00:33:27.980 where it is up northern saskatchewan and and i found out like when i started this a lot of people
00:33:34.080 told me hey that's the same thing that's going on here you know a lot of people that's happening
00:33:39.140 here too like yeah i'm getting the feeling that you're building to some new thing that happened
00:33:44.860 here like the next thing because this to me sounds like so far you're getting paid cash
00:33:52.540 you're going on exercises you're doing your job and you're doing it well because you're trained
00:33:57.480 to do it you've been doing it your entire life um he hadn't paid cash you made one comment
00:34:04.120 to a master warrant officer regarding his conduct when it came to a woman that he was hitting on
00:34:09.620 that he shouldn't be and you said hey man come on just relax and give her a break and then after
00:34:14.400 that you were pulled off a couple of exercises but that seems to me to be kind of a minor thing
00:34:21.120 unless this master warrant officer i let it go uh because i was i was still busy right but when
00:34:28.220 they seized all my accounts then i had to juggle everything like uh right around there like within
00:34:34.720 days they seized i think it was 250 000 at once in in a week you know from my bank accounts for
00:34:41.600 okay so wait a minute we're going from from you just doing your job getting paid cash with that
00:34:48.940 one thing that you did and all of a sudden now they're seizing your bank accounts like this
00:34:53.420 master chief my life was ruined and the war and the same guy i complained to he's like well kirk
00:34:57.920 i can i can get that i can get that taken care of i'm like how can you get that taken care of like
00:35:03.580 this master warrant officer was that powerful that he could do this or was there something
00:35:08.880 else going on that's what he said and i didn't i thought he was joking you know and and he said
00:35:14.340 me when i like uh he says kirk there's no government agency that's gonna help you no police
00:35:21.140 no fire because i was really slamming them for not putting out these fires right like i was
00:35:25.940 hitting them hard on facebook so when did you first realize that your bank accounts were frozen
00:35:33.700 a few days after i talked to the uh the warrant officer and okay so how did you find out though
00:35:39.140 did you just go to the bank one day and try to take out some money or what happened i was
00:35:43.220 because i was waiting for 180 000 payment from slumber j and they said okay well we sent it and
00:35:49.920 i went check the bank and my bank accounts were closed like they took it out took it all
00:35:55.200 so so of course you pro you said what the hell are you doing like just put it back you guys can't do
00:36:01.620 this this is my money i didn't think it was i i didn't think i didn't think at the time it could
00:36:06.040 be related to the army you know i thought it was because my taxes like i joined in 2010 i didn't i
00:36:12.460 I did my taxes in 2013, I think it was.
00:36:15.120 And then I didn't do them because I was asking for these T4s, you know.
00:36:18.820 You couldn't do them.
00:36:19.600 You didn't have any records of it.
00:36:20.820 You had no T4 slips.
00:36:22.020 You can't do it.
00:36:22.660 And, you know, it says when you do our taxes, to the best of your knowledge, this is accurate and true.
00:36:27.240 Well, it wasn't.
00:36:27.880 So, I couldn't do it, right?
00:36:29.820 Plus, I didn't have any money because I seized it all.
00:36:32.560 You know what your problem is, Kirk?
00:36:34.080 You've got too much truth and integrity.
00:36:36.840 I think that's what your problem is.
00:36:39.340 Yeah.
00:36:39.500 okay so now that you've got your bank accounts frozen obviously you can't live
00:36:44.940 like that because that's all of your money you can't pay any bills I was able
00:36:49.180 to go back and I finished the job myself and I got a few I started another bank
00:36:54.680 account and they paid me and I paid everybody and so I wasn't you know at
00:36:59.780 least I was able to pay my men and stuff and women and I thought you know what
00:37:04.480 I'll just when I get time because I didn't know what I was getting into I
00:37:08.440 I thought, you know, it's just a fuck up.
00:37:10.300 I mean, I screw up somewhere.
00:37:11.800 And the money will always be there.
00:37:13.480 You know, like it's in the bank, money in the bank.
00:37:16.140 You know, because I always say, well, if you're late, you have to pay interest.
00:37:20.800 It's like, well, if you have money in that day with you, they have to pay you interest.
00:37:26.340 So I thought, you know, I'll leave it until I get all this straightened out.
00:37:29.440 I got it straightened out in 2010 or 2020 is when I got the T4s.
00:37:33.300 and of course they were all like like my wages were like i don't know ten thousand dollars or
00:37:39.200 something like nothing like what i used to make in a day from the army but i said whatever you
00:37:43.100 know so i just did my taxes and they say well because of all these penalties you owe sixty
00:37:47.280 thousand dollars and while i figured it out they took over three hundred and fifty thousand dollars
00:37:52.080 they seized from 2010 to 2020 so i said what penalties would tell me what penalties
00:37:58.420 for not filing because i you know and i said well like i i only had a couple people working for me
00:38:06.980 i wasn't a big contractor or anything like i just mostly did everything myself and uh so i said well
00:38:12.740 just take that sixty thousand dollars out of the three hundred and fifty thousand dollars you took
00:38:18.020 and they said we have no record of this three hundred fifty thousand dollars and i'm talking
00:38:21.620 to them and these phone calls are recorded by the way uh they'll be available to whoever wants them
00:38:26.100 sooner or later but uh and they said wait wait wait wait wait wait hold on so they froze 350
00:38:34.020 thousand dollars of your money from the bank now i've heard you say before they would seize it
00:38:39.460 they would find out which bank and it was like a lot of it was through the army they say okay well
00:38:43.940 where do you want us to send this money so just keep the money because every time i put you guys
00:38:47.620 put it in my bank it gets seized so so it's the bank is it is no just to be clear because we've
00:38:57.620 heard a lot about uh banks freezing accounts this past couple of years since the freedom convoy
00:39:04.820 but this is not freezing this is seizing am i right and i can't access my accounts
00:39:11.380 because they shut everything down like uh yeah did you ever speak did you ever speak to the bank
00:39:19.520 itself about all of this like what are you guys doing yeah and he says well there's a a lien
00:39:25.080 for these taxes and i was like okay well i said i'll take care of it and actually i did
00:39:30.440 have a job where i i think they said i owed 150 000 or whatever so i paid it
00:39:35.800 and then they seized it again they got seized and everything so uh and then like the bank manager
00:39:42.720 was a friend of mine and uh he's he was for a different bank but i phoned him i was like is
00:39:47.060 it possible for you to get the records for me he says well that's that's a long time ago and i was
00:39:52.720 like well it's pretty important but he pulled it off and i got all the records and i phoned cra
00:39:56.580 and i gave him the dates and how much was taken and which account and she's typing oh there it is
00:40:03.400 oh there it is well there it is i was like well take that 60 000 out of that 350 000
00:40:08.420 and she's well i don't do that i'm the one that collects it i said well send me to the person
00:40:13.540 that gives it back they don't know who gives it back you know they don't know yep yeah like uh
00:40:22.460 they don't get this a lot because all my records you know and i they said we'll send out your
00:40:26.740 records i was like well why don't you send me yours so that i can verify you know because
00:40:31.040 that's the thing is was was this no i'm trying to figure out what the motivation of this would be
00:40:39.100 would it be that this is some kind of i'm sorry they were trying to drive me insane
00:40:44.140 okay so well we can get to that because i know that you spent some time in in a hospital a mental
00:40:52.700 hospital but um and that's an interesting story too you guys that's coming up here with kirk and
00:40:59.720 shadow but what i'm trying to figure out here is this a malicious uh pursuit by the canada revenue
00:41:07.600 agency or is it just genuine they're just trying to get money they think is owed to them or is
00:41:13.820 there something else behind this no it's just there's something else behind it is because uh
00:41:19.020 like i read i ruffled a lot of feathers and uh so there was more than just telling that chief
00:41:26.700 warrant officer that he needs to leave the woman alone what else did you do i asked for my pay
00:41:31.520 my pay stubs back like i signed all these sheets these blank sheets and i says i want those because
00:41:36.740 they kicked me off the exercise that i was never on in the first place i said well i want my pay
00:41:41.020 sheets back that i signed because i i kind of had a feeling what was going on but not in stone right
00:41:47.400 so i said well give me back the pay sheets and they said well no they're already sent off
00:41:51.200 i'm like well to who and this is the same warrant officer that i accused of right
00:41:57.080 please don't tell it is this chief warrant officer still in the military is he still
00:42:06.740 still running the show there yeah so let me ask you about okay so we don't know a lot about
00:42:14.340 military structure so let's just stop right now that your bank accounts have been seized they've
00:42:22.300 charging you with sixty thousand dollars in penalties i suppose and you said take it the
00:42:30.300 sixty thousand out of the three hundred and fifty thousand you took but they don't know the person
00:42:34.420 who gives the money back so we're at that point with the banking issues now and they lost all
00:42:39.540 records and they lost all records right so can we talk about the ranking of of the canadian
00:42:48.820 military and we're talking about non-commissioned officers is this chief or master warrant officer
00:42:56.260 it goes private or actually now the rangers finally have a spot where rangers the lowest
00:43:01.620 on the pole and then it was private uh corporal master corporal sergeant uh warrant officer so
00:43:10.260 he's only from the bottom so how is it that this guy wields so much power
00:43:15.120 i have no idea does he have friends in high places i would think so obviously he's still
00:43:23.800 working there and uh it's okay well uh just remind me to get to the story in komox where they
00:43:30.780 The military police told me that we were getting paid the wrong rates on the wrong sheets.
00:43:35.980 Well, why don't you tell it now? Let's go ahead and tell that.
00:43:40.980 Leave all that stuff aside. Back, we're doing rescues. Everything's good.
00:43:44.940 Now, hold on. Before you start, I just want to tell everybody watching right now,
00:43:48.120 I told you guys this was going to be a complicated story that's difficult to tell.
00:43:52.800 It's got a lot of twists and turns in it, so please bear with us,
00:43:56.540 and we're going to stay with Kirk as long as we need to get the whole story out.
00:44:00.080 okay please go ahead yeah so um either way we got my friend nominated uh and another friend is a 2IC
00:44:08.820 i had 10 people i was a master corporal so i had 10 people working for me and i'm responsible for
00:44:14.680 them right well uh we come to an exercise to go to standing mission in 2018 and there's 33 of us
00:44:23.980 that signed these blank sheets and uh i'm i was late because i was working at one of the mines
00:44:31.160 and i had to fly in and i walked in kind of late and everyone's signing these sheets i'm like what's
00:44:35.080 going on here you know oh how many people are coming well there's only eight of us going
00:44:39.120 and i'm like why are we all signing these blank sheets because i was mad now right i i had
00:44:43.800 everything figured out by 2018 and they says well we have extra money left over kirk uh we got to
00:44:49.860 spend it somewhere so you know we're just going to divvy it up i'm like this is a this is blowing
00:44:54.080 my mind because i have to do my book work so it's not not going to get me charged with it and these
00:44:59.160 guys are giving out money that the taxpayers you know it just blew my blew my mind like cash money
00:45:05.640 again what's that cash money cash money well no these were these were for wages and and then they
00:45:14.380 signed out for the trucks and stuff like put their x at the bottom and then i found out later from a
00:45:19.740 like one of the one of my patrols kirk we actually got paid as if we went on that exercise
00:45:25.240 but that was just the wages and i was like well what happened to the eur and that's equipment
00:45:31.140 usage rates which are like for a quad and stuff and i figured it out with that amount of people
00:45:35.780 that signed it was pretty close to 90 000 in cash that it's not accounted for you know because on
00:45:43.160 the books it shows that everyone went on this exercise and i have the patrol commander saying
00:45:47.180 he was like he was mocking me he says well only eight of us are gone everyone signed i'm like
00:45:52.380 yeah but somebody's got that somebody's got that 90 000 somewhere well the chief his wife is running
00:45:57.800 for the liberal party so she had to be uh be nominated by her peers right so they don't have
00:46:04.440 to pay 200 to get her you know to show that they support her so it's untraceable cash through the
00:46:11.200 military i think that you know it just it just blows my mind and okay wait wait wait wait so we
00:46:18.600 went from 2015 where your bank accounts were frozen and they lost the records amazingly
00:46:25.120 i didn't find that out till later yeah right so to 2018 where you're just about to go on an exercise
00:46:32.560 and you found out about the the usage rates the equipment usage rates being half of what you
00:46:39.600 should have gotten leaving ninety thousand dollars just sitting there untraceable no that's not quite
00:46:46.240 right there's uh there's only eight of us going on the exercise but everyone signed as if they were
00:46:50.000 going so if they would have gone that's ninety thousand dollars give or take because who knows
00:46:54.300 what they put on the sheets like the sheets that we received that i signed and they're actually on
00:47:00.680 my facebook my kid could have made a better sheet on on the computer and then when i went to the
00:47:05.940 military police uh in 2019 in february uh i told her the sheets and then she pulled me back and
00:47:14.200 she says kirk are those the sheets you used since day one i'm like yeah well those aren't the right
00:47:18.220 sheets and this is military police and uh and she says how much were you getting paid i said well
00:47:24.000 when i started it was a hundred dollars a day for a truck or whatever she says kirk it's supposed to
00:47:27.940 be two hundred dollars a day when he started way back then so they started my room off in the first
00:47:32.140 place okay but i remember i i complained to jim i was like jim like i just bought a 30 000
00:47:39.980 snow machine and it got uh some damage on it i was like i don't think a hundred dollars is enough
00:47:44.780 when we you know when you have these this big who's jim and they raised it up to 200.
00:47:50.780 who's jim kirk jim serston he was the patrol commander and my ex-best friend like the chief
00:47:55.340 and his like his wife the chief of the band larange uh chief time of cook seriously and
00:47:59.420 and they're my son's godparents, and they were my best friends.
00:48:02.520 And basically, I caught them stealing.
00:48:03.980 I was like, you guys can't do that.
00:48:05.240 He says, Kirk, you're going to have to quit.
00:48:07.220 I'm like, what?
00:48:08.240 And these are my best friends, and they turned off.
00:48:10.680 Okay, wait a minute, wait a minute.
00:48:12.640 You see, this is the other thing now, right?
00:48:14.780 I mean, you are talking about the patrol leader,
00:48:19.860 who's your ex-best friend.
00:48:21.680 Yeah.
00:48:22.160 Who's married to who again?
00:48:24.920 Chief Tommy Cook-Searson, who's also a ranger.
00:48:28.720 Okay.
00:48:29.420 He got all of his family and his friends for nepotism
00:48:32.260 so that they could win these votes.
00:48:34.560 And she's running to be a member of Parliament
00:48:38.020 with the Liberal Party, correct?
00:48:39.780 Correct, yeah.
00:48:41.140 Okay.
00:48:42.140 So, $90,000 untraceable.
00:48:46.060 You caught her and your ex-best friend.
00:48:49.060 I don't know where the money went.
00:48:50.840 It was in an ammo box.
00:48:53.400 But this is not a one-time thing.
00:48:55.520 They're bringing it up in an ammo box.
00:48:57.360 okay so wait a minute wait wait a minute again i i have to stop you here you've already been
00:49:03.940 through hell with your bank accounts being seized and um i'm sure that were your bank
00:49:13.020 accounts still seized are they still seized they are well i in 2019 uh the military say that they
00:49:23.060 caused me uh mental damage so they awarded me 110 000 and so they sent it to my bank account
00:49:31.320 in december 20th of 2019 and uh so i got seized did it get seized did it get seized they seized
00:49:42.160 it again yeah just trying to drive me crazy like this is christmas i'm on a remote island with no
00:49:49.020 money because they seized everything and then they seized 110 000 again and okay okay so so
00:49:58.220 you have already blown the whistle on somebody and paid the price dearly for it with the bank
00:50:04.220 seizures and now you suspect that your best friend and his wife are stealing but you're not quite sure
00:50:13.020 that that's the case i know that they were part of it because they were the ones that picked up
00:50:17.640 blank sheets like jimmy picked her he was sitting at the desk when all the blank sheets were delivered
00:50:23.080 to him you know okay so what did you do then with that information did you take you went to
00:50:27.640 the mp's the sergeant major he came up uh for an exercise and keep in mind some of my patrol
00:50:34.760 members my guys were saying kirk what's with all these blank sheets like i don't feel right about
00:50:38.520 that it's a good i don't either you know thanks for stepping up so i went to the sergeant major
00:50:42.200 like look why are we signing all these blank sheets and jimmy jimmy said kirk the sergeant
00:50:47.640 major wants to talk to you over in the in the office here so i went over there and he i said
00:50:52.680 look what's with all these blank sheets and he says kirk we got a lot of money we got to distribute
00:50:57.500 over the whole area you know there's wallace and lake and a bunch of other patrols and i was like
00:51:04.160 well i just don't feel right about it because it's too open to fraud and he says kirk you know
00:51:08.100 you get up in the morning you start everyone's snow machines you're as good as 10 rangers
00:51:11.180 so he handed me four thousand dollars in cash and i'm like what's this he says well you're as good
00:51:18.420 as 10 rangers here's your pay and i'm like i was expecting 2500 so i thought i got an extra 1500
00:51:25.860 or so right so i'm like okay well you know i got some expenses still and then i went to after that
00:51:34.280 i went to talk to jim he's like are you happy with that i'm like was this a bribe was it a bribe
00:51:41.560 this was definitely a bribe so i saw that and i was like you're he knew about it and that's when
00:51:46.840 i knew about it that that he was in on it so i went on facebook we had a ranger facebook page
00:51:52.400 and i said look guys i got paid too much money on this last exercise so i'm gonna buy a thermal
00:51:58.160 imaging camera for our patrol for to help us with rescues right and i got all the emails from the
00:52:03.580 sergeant major and where to order this thing jimmy immediately went on facebook and said
00:52:08.740 or he phoned me actually he's kirk don't you ever say you got paid too much money
00:52:12.700 i'm like f you you know this is wrong you know and he's kirk you know don't ever say that again
00:52:20.060 you know what wait wait a minute wait a minute you know what this reminds me of of uh that movie
00:52:24.780 cop land where all the cops are corrupt except for that one guy or maybe even that al pacino
00:52:32.380 movie serpico which actually is based on a true story you get the one honest cop and in the entire
00:52:38.380 force and everybody is out to try and get him that's what this sounds like you were the one
00:52:44.820 honest guy in a sea of corruption i don't think they were corrupt a lot of the guys didn't know
00:52:52.280 but a lot of the upper upper guys and the guys that were in there the longest like you're only
00:52:56.280 allowed to be patrol commander for two years so we went through like six or eight guys or six guys
00:53:00.840 they all knew about it you know that's and i can prove they knew about it because i by the way but
00:53:07.480 i mean you take a patrol commander right and and he's got to transfer power to the next guy who
00:53:13.440 comes along so before he takes the reins he maybe pulls the guy inside and says look we got this
00:53:18.380 little thing going on the side we're taking money and then oh yeah awesome i'm in for that right
00:53:23.860 they like they know i'm very honest like i actually have affidavits from jim for custody
00:53:30.360 He'd say, Kirk's a very hard-working, honest man,
00:53:32.960 great father, you know, in an affidavit
00:53:35.220 when I went for custody of my son.
00:53:36.940 But, yeah, and then all of a sudden...
00:53:42.940 All this?
00:53:45.660 Yeah.
00:53:46.580 So you kind of figured out that there was money,
00:53:52.280 lots of money, being taken,
00:53:55.140 and your buddy and his wife,
00:53:58.160 who was going to run for the Liberal Party,
00:54:00.360 uh were part of it at the very least yeah yeah and uh so what i did was i wrote a letter to
00:54:06.880 an email like this is this is when i'm uh jimmy pulled me up he said i'm gonna be killed by drug
00:54:13.880 dealers he says kirk you're a piece of shit your dad's a piece of shit you've been stealing from
00:54:18.400 the natives forever you know and my family's very well respected in the ranch you know and i was
00:54:23.560 like where is this coming from well he was trying to make me kill myself right you know and uh wait
00:54:28.780 a minute this is after the email you wrote to trudeau uh this is before so this is october
00:54:34.020 october is when all this stuff happened that's when i first uh filed with the you see now i'm
00:54:39.920 finally getting it now i'm finally getting it i'm finally getting your story now so i stuck around
00:54:44.980 from october waiting for the uh crcc and the rcmp who went i went to the rcmp to file charges
00:54:54.280 they wouldn't record anything they wouldn't write anything down
00:54:57.240 i i complained to the crcc civilian review and complaints committee and they said that uh uh
00:55:05.300 sergeant uh kyle watson is going to investigate well i phoned kyle watson or i might have emailed
00:55:12.860 him and i said who's going to investigate he says i am i'm like okay good as long as it's not these
00:55:17.420 younger guys that i'm accusing of these rcmp that won't like i i believe they're into drugs and a
00:55:22.800 lot worse well who do they send the same guys i accused to investigate themselves
00:55:27.520 one friend in the rcmp who was ex-military and he he says kirk it's time for you to really consider
00:55:38.140 leaving because uh you know i have drug dealers come to my house and say kirk the rcmp there's
00:55:43.840 something going on but they're telling us you're an informant you know but i've known you all my
00:55:49.080 life and uh the drug dealers are saying this to you wait wait wait oh yeah what you're you're in
00:55:58.060 the room to my house and says you gotta watch it because i i'm not gonna do anything but these
00:56:02.420 young gangbangers that like larange it's the murder capital of canada they'll kill someone
00:56:06.120 for a thousand dollars right he says you gotta watch these young gangbangers because they don't
00:56:09.900 care right like okay yeah so uh so you're getting warnings from the gangbangers that you're going
00:56:16.700 to be killed and the rcp and the rcp it's kirk you gotta watch it you're you know you're blown
00:56:24.680 is what he said so did you have this is october at what what year now october 2018 okay so were
00:56:35.480 you wait wait wait were you alone in all of this the entire time yep you did you have anybody that
00:56:43.080 you could talk to about any of this and trust i didn't want to because i knew it was career ending
00:56:50.300 and life altering and uh so i had to make sure i covered my bases and recorded it i recorded the
00:56:56.660 phone calls i got the paperwork they didn't expect me to be alive this long you know and uh
00:57:02.400 but your state of mind i mean like if you weren't if you weren't able to speak to anybody about all
00:57:07.780 this crap going on around you then it must have taken a huge toll on you know your it was the
00:57:14.980 worst three years of my life like from 2018 to 2022 or 20 yeah 2022 basically like the and here's
00:57:24.960 how it works the veterans affairs won't deal with you until you're released from the army
00:57:29.380 and they wouldn't release me to so i could talk to get counseling and stuff until like they wouldn't
00:57:36.840 release me finally uh i don't want to lose track of things here but uh okay let's go back to october
00:57:45.660 2018 uh we had a we got our new rifles trudeau bought the rangers 5 000 new tika 308s for
00:57:53.160 35 million dollars or something like that that's about five thousand dollars per gun
00:57:58.180 you can buy the same tika 308 from cabela's for 1500 you know of course you know they're
00:58:05.340 They are nice guns. They had a little bigger ball on the bolt. But either way, I was coming back from, I can't remember what, I was doing training for DP2, which is patrol commander. I went for training.
00:58:20.160 and i ended up stopping at the base at edmonton picking up 10 000 rounds of 308 shells i signed
00:58:27.100 for them that was in september uh september yeah 2018 i signed for all these rounds to carry them
00:58:34.220 in my personal truck so they trusted me then but by by the time october come around they said i
00:58:39.880 wasn't even allowed to be have a gun because i and i have it on my emails that i reported to the
00:58:46.100 ombudsman October 8th
00:58:48.760 or 15th or something like that
00:58:49.800 and that was the same day that
00:58:52.640 they suspended me from the army for
00:58:54.640 a year. They suspended me for going
00:58:56.480 to try to report this
00:58:57.720 and so I'm pretty
00:59:00.500 stressed out about that. Wait, wait, wait
00:59:02.760 so why were they
00:59:04.600 doing this? Was it because you
00:59:06.600 were on to
00:59:08.180 the liberal?
00:59:10.400 Okay, and they knew that? Were you making
00:59:12.480 noise about it or were you just kind of quietly
00:59:14.520 documenting things at that point?
00:59:16.100 everything and then uh i gave them some options to see who was on my side and there was nobody
00:59:22.340 you know i had one i had one rcmp was in my my section and uh let's move up to okay so this is
00:59:29.940 october uh 2018. we did the shooting i got i got the best shot of the whole patrol and after i was
00:59:37.700 finished shooting the warrant officer the same one that i accused of in 2015 came up and he says
00:59:42.580 says kirk we got to take your gun away we heard you're going through some stress which is me
00:59:47.120 reporting to the ombudsman i'm like okay whatever well the top shot shot gets to leave the remember
00:59:52.660 state parade in november in the ranch and they couldn't have me doing that so one of the other
00:59:57.180 patrol commanders uh or two i see he was a pretty good shot but he i beat him that day they let him
01:00:02.780 shoot the next day when it was nice and warm out and he beat me by one one one point or something
01:00:07.220 like that so i was like whatever and my and this rcp that worked for me said kirk what the hell is
01:00:12.040 going on i said i can't quite tell you yet this is unheard of you know like that's that's bad
01:00:18.340 what they did right there like then they took my guns away so so what led up to you being taken to
01:00:24.100 that mental hospital or are we still a ways away from that okay and i've meanwhile everyone knows
01:00:30.760 what's going on now uh so there's rangers kirk i don't know what's going on with you i don't want
01:00:35.300 to know you know that's a lot of it was that i don't want to know i'm like well i think you
01:00:39.680 fucking know but either way um so they said kirk we're going to set up a warrant officer to talk
01:00:47.420 to you and i'm like i got along with this warrant officer he's a nice guy you know
01:00:51.020 he came and he says kirk you stepped on too many toes this is january 17th we were supposed to have
01:00:58.360 an election in october but it was postponed until january 20th so january 17th he came to the ron
01:01:03.820 he called me to the hotel i was like do i need to bring a gun he says that's not funny
01:01:08.580 either way i go to meet him he says kirk what's going on i said what caught you guys stealing
01:01:13.780 you know millions of dollars i'm facing all this reprisal kirk think of your family think of your
01:01:21.040 babies think of your children you've stepped on way too many toes here kirk and i was trying to
01:01:26.520 quit i tried to quit in october and then uh the warrant officer or the sergeant major in december
01:01:32.700 says kirk like i showed him a few documents he's like kirk you got to report this he says i know
01:01:38.620 you won't quit but he couldn't do it because he's reg forces right he can only go up one one rank
01:01:43.340 i i in our code it says we have to find proper authorities to give our information to well i
01:01:49.420 still can't find anyone either way he knew i wouldn't quit so he he says kirk you understand
01:01:54.860 your conditions i'm like yeah and it's all an email form you know not exactly what was going on
01:01:59.020 but enough to cover my bases and uh so they sent one officer up to meet me stepped on too many
01:02:07.020 toes he said you're gonna have to quit or get 5f and i was trying to quit but then he says you're
01:02:13.820 gonna get 5f which is a dishonorable discharge for doing the right thing i'm like screw you
01:02:19.340 this is what i know bang bang bang he was pretty much crying when i left you know so uh he didn't
01:02:25.820 know what to do i said by the way i phoned uh dundurn to see about getting some mental health
01:02:32.620 he phoned them the next day the base uh in dundurn asking what i phoned him about like you're not
01:02:38.460 allowed to do that wow this is kirk or he said uh mohegan you can't give him a 5f for doing what
01:02:46.060 he's supposed to do well right either way none of those guys work there anymore so this is december
01:02:52.380 january uh they had a like we're supposed to have an election in the legion which we do every two
01:02:58.880 years in the legion and it was in our in our emails and stuff and the the sergeant major knew
01:03:05.180 which knew knew what was going on he didn't like jimmy he said everybody the the rules for the
01:03:10.140 election so everybody got them in the whole patrol and i was like holy shit that's the first time i've
01:03:15.000 ever seen the real rules right well every one of those guys in patrol didn't follow the rules so
01:03:21.280 they had a fake election to get me voted off around a fire and they canceled the meeting that
01:03:27.180 night for the rest of the rangers because i would have won but instead they just had his wife his
01:03:33.100 daughter their best friends that worked for the band one guy happened to come along on a snow
01:03:38.240 machine who was a ranger he was and he voted for me but these other 13 people that's on exercise
01:03:43.960 in uniform on a military exercise that is code of service discipline that is military court
01:03:50.580 for the band chief her husband in charge of the red cross of northern saskatchewan and uh all
01:03:57.280 these minions that they had working for the band but uh so then i'm getting threats so i figured
01:04:06.220 what kind of what kind of threats were you getting were you like direct to your face or were they
01:04:09.880 kind of like emails or telephone calls i would have drug dealers come up to my house and stuff
01:04:15.980 but i had a 45 right and that's the other thing i bought i bought a 45 because i had a nine uh
01:04:22.520 a nine mil but jim searson bought all of my guns he he didn't want me to have i said well i'm not
01:04:29.180 selling you the nine until i get the 45 he wanted me to have no guns there at all i think but i
01:04:35.140 you know i kept the 45 i didn't tell him about the 45 till i got it but uh so i phoned the rcmp
01:04:42.880 and i says look i have to go talk to the lieutenant colonel about this lieutenant colonel russell
01:04:48.240 needs um and i says i want to disassemble my guns because i only had the handgun and a couple
01:04:53.600 shotguns and like i'm not a gun guy i just like hunt and stuff like that but i'm not a you know
01:04:59.360 i don't care about guns either way i i said i'm gonna take them apart can i leave them with the
01:05:04.160 rcmp no response so i found a special forces friend of mine that's up there he's retired now
01:05:09.920 can you pick up my guns and he says yeah what's going on he's like holy
01:05:14.960 you told him everything and he just he's like whoa whoa
01:05:19.600 so i i phone uh i ended up phoning uh
01:05:25.680 actually there's another guy in the wrong she says kirk there's a there's a a military
01:05:29.280 ombudsman you have to phone and there's another uh uh another uh uh i can't remember the name of
01:05:38.560 it's on my facebook but who you phone to complain about so i i email them and they says well what's
01:05:44.900 going on i tell him he's like holy shit you have to file this stuff before you're released or it's
01:05:49.120 not it's not valid so i i sent him an email well they i don't get anything back this is to ottawa
01:05:55.500 right well three days later he says kirk you have to go to you have to go to edmonton and file your
01:06:01.800 grievances he says the server broke down and we didn't get your message till today
01:06:06.680 meanwhile i'm racing this other mohegan he's going back to edmonton i'm going back to edmonton
01:06:12.640 to talk to these uh the people that do the grievances so wait a minute you're racing
01:06:17.140 this guy to get to edmonton so you can get to them and tell the story first yeah and i i guess
01:06:23.020 so here's what i do i go i'm stressed right out now i'm traveling you know with my kid and uh he's
01:06:29.940 he was five you know i had no like a thousand dollars to my name but i go there and i talk to
01:06:36.380 these guys and they were pretty strapping and you know retired but they're not working for the
01:06:40.940 army is for grievances and they're all special forces so I pulled my special forces buddy from
01:06:45.160 Laurent and I said do you know this guy he's oh yeah no he's he's rock solid he'll look after you
01:06:49.440 real good nope I uh I tell them my story that this is level three this is going right to the top
01:06:55.840 right now and they said but we we can't find anything on the Rangers we can't find any
01:07:00.780 documentation so who's your commanding officer well lieutenant colonel meads oh okay russ
01:07:08.540 these guys had just recently joined the rangers i didn't find that out till later
01:07:13.420 so these guys that are making my report joined the rangers so they said go down uh
01:07:20.700 go take some lunch we'll figure this out after lunch so i i'm stressed to the max now like i
01:07:25.100 left my kid at a friend's place in edmonton they weren't getting what i was throwing down so i go
01:07:30.140 go to the legion and i have a bowl of soup and a couple beers and i look at all the people that
01:07:34.420 died on the walls trying to protect this country and stuff and i'm getting pretty emotional about
01:07:38.460 how screwed over i'm getting because like they made me kick out my own dad you know which is
01:07:43.240 illegal but either way um so i sent them from the legion two emails which kind of and they're like
01:07:51.320 by the time i went back to the base they were they they wouldn't talk to me they're just right
01:07:57.320 face kirk this is we'll figure it out but it's going to take us a couple weeks let's just go
01:08:01.240 home go home where i've been threatening to be killed right like when i went to edmonton the
01:08:05.400 first thing i did was i phoned 9-1-1 i went to the hotel i got my my parents to sign uh for a hotel
01:08:12.280 because i didn't have my my bank accounts were seized right and you need a credit card so they
01:08:16.920 had to arrange that for me i'm very supportive parents by the way like they're really good people
01:08:21.880 but either way i phoned 9-1-1 what's going on well there's like four cop cars that come into the
01:08:26.440 the hotel and i'm looking stressed right out and my kids there you know and they're like what's
01:08:30.820 going on so i'm trying to report corruption that involves two though and what you know so well
01:08:37.020 that's military police so they phone the military police and they're saying we don't want to touch
01:08:40.560 this guy i said well i don't want to go there myself because if i'm on a base i'm on a base
01:08:47.580 and i i fall under the code of service discipline where they could have arrested me and no one would
01:08:51.980 have come and saved me you know to this date no one's going to come save me i know that already
01:08:55.560 but either way i saw that they sent me on my way i went back to larange grabbed my kid
01:09:03.280 or i mean uh my dog and uh what i could carry basically drove to pa borrowed a friend's truck
01:09:11.720 a 2017 denali like a really nice hundred thousand dollar truck he's a great friend of mine
01:09:16.060 and i i drove uh i was leaving i was trying to find a new place to live right and i'm on facebook
01:09:23.520 and i'm trying to get all these commanders and captains and majors to contact me and no one's
01:09:28.640 it's radio silence right so this is february so i'm uh someone says well you ever you've ever
01:09:35.360 tried to report it to uh comox because that's an air force base not army so i go to comox
01:09:43.040 they take my kid and uh you know i tell start telling my story they're like in just a belief
01:09:50.720 and this walkie prove all this i'm like yeah i can prove everything i recorded everything
01:09:54.720 like what you know and then they all said well it's it's and they said come back tomorrow morning
01:10:00.560 fly to get another hotel you know there's no just so you know there is no witness protection for
01:10:06.560 people like me they said i'm like great they actually said that no witness protection for
01:10:11.920 people like me so you're on your own man good luck until tomorrow morning so i uh they said come in
01:10:19.600 the next morning so i'll come the next morning there's like five of them now and i kind of tell
01:10:23.360 my story again and they're like this is way above our pay grade we don't know what to do
01:10:28.080 he's like well he's like goodbye you know i took pictures of my kid in front of the code of service
01:10:34.800 discipline you know they questioned him a bit and uh they sent me on my way so i'm i'm knowing
01:10:40.720 i'm in pretty bad shape here so uh i'm driving back i'm in uh passing abbotsford and i see the
01:10:48.240 border american border and i just happened to listen on the radio about asylum seekers
01:10:55.120 i was like i'm gonna drive to the states and i'm gonna get asylum you know until this is
01:10:59.120 trading doubt because it's just you know but you've got your kid with you right yep so i uh
01:11:05.680 i uh grab a six pack of beer and uh have a few beers and i'm thinking about this
01:11:11.760 looking at the gates either way i drive up there and the gates where you're supposed to stop
01:11:18.240 well i drove right through them and i went into the parking lot and they had their guns on me
01:11:22.880 and i had my hands out the window i'm like hey i got a five-year-old kid in here and a chihuahua
01:11:28.100 and they're like what the fuck are you doing i said well i'm trying to report wrongdoing
01:11:32.780 and they're like i said i'm fine i'm not you know i'm not hostile or anything we just got
01:11:37.360 to figure this out so they took me in and i tell them this is the american border guards now
01:11:44.340 american border guards yeah okay and uh you know they're all really nice to me and uh because you
01:11:49.860 know i wasn't freaking out or anything i just like this is i wanted to get to the american side
01:11:54.680 because i didn't want to get turned back you know so i thought that would for sure do it
01:11:59.240 nope can i stop you and ask a question here and and this can be like a minute long or less
01:12:06.780 your kid is five at this stage and you've got your kid with you and you're having this meltdown
01:12:15.580 trying to get across the border what's your what's the mom thinking
01:12:20.460 we'll get to that okay so i'm uh i'm at the american border and i'm i'm saying okay well
01:12:31.000 he's well what do you want us to do i was like well i want asylum he said well you we don't
01:12:35.520 give asylum to canadians because canada is a good country well not so much you know they'll give
01:12:40.680 asylum to anybody else but not a not a military canadian i guess so i said well i said well then
01:12:47.280 you're gonna have to arrest me he's like why is that he's well because i have a freaking 45 in
01:12:52.140 the truck the barrel of a 45 and all my survival gear and i have multiple rounds of 30 odd six
01:12:57.640 shotgun shells because i took my bullets from my my gun case because i didn't want to leave them
01:13:02.040 there for you know case my house got broken into and stuff i did like everything i did was legal
01:13:06.340 i took apart the 45 you know they said where is it so they found it in my truck full of uh smoke
01:13:13.340 grenades uh rations military rations my go bag for like survival tents stuff like that like i
01:13:19.460 looked like i was going camping for a long time also you may have appeared a little bit
01:13:27.740 crazy to these guys so just to make sure they said have you been drinking i'm like yep
01:13:33.320 i had two beers there's four more in the back of the truck they said are you on drugs i'm like yes
01:13:38.800 sir here's my prescription and they're uh whatever and then he says are you under the doctor's orders
01:13:45.160 i'm like yes sir here's the letter from last week because i was in the wrongs the week before
01:13:48.860 and i i took my son to the clinic and i got a medical gun on both of us and i got myself
01:13:56.140 drug tested because that's the first thing they say is you're a druggie and i got myself drug
01:14:00.040 tested my doctor knew what's going on he's like yeah you're doing everything being on
01:14:02.980 you know so they have eight years of drug tests but either way um i showed them this and they're
01:14:10.820 like well they they found all the guns and stuff and they walked him to the america or the canadian
01:14:16.600 side they shook my hand and thanked me for my service i'm like fuck you guys you know and they
01:14:22.940 sent you on your way back to hell sent me on my way i drove in the truck to the window and they
01:14:29.720 said do you have anything declare any drugs or weapons in the vehicle i was like well no i don't
01:14:34.580 i gave him a chance to just let me go well we have something of yours inside i'm like okay let's get
01:14:41.460 this started you know so i went inside pulled in they're all there's like six or seven of them
01:14:45.800 gave him a short deal oh the first thing that happened is they separated me from kenneth
01:14:49.840 uh and then they said who's that your son and they asked who's that and that's the first time
01:14:58.140 kenneth has ever called me kirk he always calls me dad except that one time so so so i looked like
01:15:05.240 i kidnapped this kid right but uh so i'm talking to them and they're like what's going on and i
01:15:10.900 tell them holy shit well okay we don't know what to do about this because this you know it's way
01:15:16.720 above their pay grade and then well you know we're gonna let you go but we can't let you go
01:15:25.140 without with your kid like well i'm not going without my kid well that's you got to prove that
01:15:29.920 he's yours so i said okay well let's phone his mom and uh so i text his mom from my phone they're
01:15:35.740 watching you of course i said you're gonna get a call from this number and they're gonna ask you 0.77
01:15:39.580 well they phone right away she doesn't answer because she's a narcissist right so she's getting
01:15:45.460 the shits and giggles out of this i'm sure so how else can we confirm that he's your son i said well
01:15:50.320 my friend victor was trying to date the daycare provider because this is only a week ago right
01:15:54.060 like i had a daycare before that and it's closed so uh i'm sorry to laugh because i know this is a
01:16:01.220 very stressful point in your in your life you know if it was three years ago now i'm getting better
01:16:06.320 at it okay but uh so victor is there and uh they just give us his number so they phone him
01:16:12.660 and they come back okay well he verifies that you have a kid i'm like okay he could have been a
01:16:17.360 pedophile drug lord you know i find out later they never even phoned the guy that lent me the
01:16:23.220 denali i could have shot him and stole his truck and they never even checked up on that you know
01:16:28.260 i guess hey plus my driver's license i found out was suspended that day you know the day i left
01:16:34.460 this gas you know it was actually suspended why why was your driver's license suspended i think
01:16:40.040 they're trying to make things hard on me but i showed the border guy like i had my license on me
01:16:45.360 and it looked valid but i don't even think they phoned it in i gotta ask you i gotta stop again
01:16:51.380 and and so because these stories they're getting more and more fantastic you you understand that
01:16:56.960 like for the average person who's just hearing this for the very first time what i'm going to
01:17:01.520 do you guys watching this is i'm going to try and and take the highlights of this episode and we've
01:17:07.620 still got some time yet we're still going on we're going to stay on social media through the entire
01:17:12.260 interview tonight i feel as though i owe kirk that so we're going to keep this on for as many people
01:17:18.140 as we possibly can but the story sounds incredibly fantastic at this point and it's it seems to be
01:17:24.820 getting even more fantastic and i'm wondering if this is still based all this is still based on
01:17:31.720 that one person that that master warrant officer going back years or is it now escalated
01:17:39.120 are involved uh the lieutenant colonel are involved um yeah because so i'm so i'm at the
01:17:46.780 border now i'm on the canadian side and uh so victor confirmed that i had a kid and that i'm
01:17:53.780 not crazy i'm a good dad and all that stuff and i'm like okay well kirk and then they call the
01:17:58.180 RCMP over so there's RCMP American border crossing and Canadian border crossing and the RCMP says
01:18:05.360 Kirk you can't be driving around with uh all this ammo and stuff and uh the barrel of a 45 I'm like
01:18:12.000 well I was like do you have any more guns in the truck I'm like no but I could have stashed him
01:18:15.780 where it's having the beer just two miles down the road right but I was hoping to get arrested
01:18:19.720 someone I'd rather be arrested in the states they said no you don't want to be arrested there
01:18:23.980 and you don't want your son to go to foster care there i'm like well it shouldn't take very long
01:18:28.980 to figure this out like i have all the documentation right they went anyways they said
01:18:33.460 so they said you can't be driving around with this stuff i was like well then i guess you're
01:18:37.640 gonna have to arrest me nope they shook my hand gave me back my bags of goodies and said we're
01:18:44.340 all in this together good luck you might need these you know a normal person would have probably
01:18:51.860 and they saw the doctor's notes and everything yeah so these guys are they did you tell them
01:18:59.460 the story and so they went oh no but they felt like they didn't want to get involved at all
01:19:06.520 oh no we don't want to touch anything to do with this this is way above our pay grade right
01:19:10.180 right that seems to be the common refrain that like any time you go to somebody for help it's
01:19:16.640 like well i don't want to get involved in this i don't want to be in your situation right yeah
01:19:21.780 yeah well that sounds very familiar from what everything that's happened in the past few years
01:19:27.060 doesn't it i think a lot of the people that didn't speak up over the last few years and still aren't
01:19:32.660 speaking up were kind of like the people who just didn't want to help you out i thought everyone
01:19:38.080 would stand up you know i thought everybody in my these are my best friends right like i yeah i
01:19:42.200 trusted my life with them you know somewhat not anymore but i thought all of them would stand up
01:19:46.640 but they all work for the government like if they don't work for the band they work for the
01:19:51.240 government and uh you know that rolls over so so what happened after this they sent you on your way
01:19:58.660 and and said we're in this together and and good luck to you and what now so i'm so i'm in uh i was
01:20:05.420 like okay well i gotta get my friend's truck back now they know what's going on you know so i phoned
01:20:11.180 kenneth's mother and i was like look this is way above uh what i thought was going to happen i'm
01:20:16.080 coming back to Laurent she says well I want to I want to come back with you because I'm worried
01:20:19.720 about my life too because all the her uncle was just killed there like like for drugs and stuff
01:20:25.140 and she was worried about her life too I said well I'm coming I'm picking up my car and I'm
01:20:32.440 gonna find a place to live so I drove back Saskatchewan picked her up came back and I'm
01:20:39.620 I went to a friend's place in Squamish with her and they're like we're both have them as friends
01:20:45.500 and how am i going to deal with this so i'm basically and then i get it i look back and
01:20:50.840 like don't go on facebook bang i'm on facebook so a couple tweets or posts on facebook i get a
01:20:59.400 message like half an hour later from uh and it's on my facebook uh from a major uh i can't remember
01:21:07.000 her last name blanchko and she says oh we hear you're uh looking to talk to the boss and it's
01:21:13.640 all on my facebook like the emails we we know you're packing we've been following you for two
01:21:17.880 weeks we know you have guns we're concerned about the safety you have to uh uh we have to request
01:21:24.360 that you get searched by the military police and we'll put you in a hotel and we'll pay you
01:21:29.880 to come in and see us i'm like okay so i took off my first facebook post
01:21:34.520 they paid for a hotel and uh you know we checked in i go where now where where where where would
01:21:43.020 this be happening i'm well i drove from the ranch back to esquimo that's where our base was okay and
01:21:49.360 um um i pull up in the gates military please come out they start searching everything they're like
01:21:57.180 holy shit we hear you're getting really fucked over this is we got nothing to worry about it's
01:22:00.920 no we got nothing to worry about i got nothing on me you know i'm not stupid uh okay well yeah
01:22:06.520 just keep it up like we we heard your story you know but they had and the same guys that i accused
01:22:11.880 are pacing back and forth behind me in their full gear these are afghan vets right like that they
01:22:17.080 are all they all work for harjit in afghanistan right so uh you know this isn't a small thing
01:22:22.840 this is the multi multi multi millions of dollars over years right so uh i go up and and i'm thinking
01:22:29.640 okay i'm gonna get this dealt with i have my briefcase my recording devices okay right on
01:22:35.400 i'll go talk to the lieutenant colonel because i thought he was a decent guy there's like seven
01:22:38.920 other people there i slide my briefcase forward they slide it back at me i'm like they said this
01:22:47.400 isn't the time i'm like okay what's going on i tell him well who stole what i'm like well this
01:22:54.120 this is way above stealing now this is about my human rights and the threats and everything right
01:22:57.880 and he says to me when we're done talking he says kirk i'm sending a whole bunch of army guys up to
01:23:03.100 larange next week so he sent a whole bunch of army guys up there to work with the rangers
01:23:07.780 which means a lot more cash the guys that were with me turned against me in one week
01:23:14.500 it's always about the money isn't it always my dad was wealthy i was like i didn't need the money
01:23:21.580 well it was nice but you know but not not for you for them and anytime there might have been
01:23:26.640 somebody who could have taken up your part and tried to help you out a little bit i'm sure they
01:23:30.580 got paid off well or threatened you know like and then i had lots of people that say the same thing
01:23:37.220 happened to my dad they threatened us you know i'm like okay well i'm not i'm by myself here well i am
01:23:42.040 but so um yeah we're back in the i just left uh and the uh lieutenant colonel says kirk you did
01:23:51.740 everything you're supposed to do like i did it's you know you're supposed to report wrongdoing if
01:23:55.820 you see it but unfortunately you're the only one you're fucked you know and then he said i'm sending
01:24:01.060 all these army guys up there shook my hand and said good luck you know so i went picked up my
01:24:08.720 ex or my kids mom we went back to the squamish oh they said kirk we got to get your pay
01:24:13.980 oh we forgot to pay you we forgot yes so i went and got or no they gave me my pay first
01:24:22.360 i didn't see what it was it was in an envelope cash money again right like it's cash they gave
01:24:27.880 me a hundred dollars in cash well the ferry was 112 to come across one way you know so i'm like
01:24:35.840 you guys are assholes i was gonna steal the pillows and stuff from the hotel because it was
01:24:41.580 under the government but i didn't because i'm not a thief right i regret they're really nice
01:24:47.020 but either way uh i pick up we go to squamash i'm thinking i'll get some responses nothing
01:24:52.960 back to radio silence again so uh kim says she wants to go home to get more stuff so i take her
01:24:58.960 home she she leaves goes on a bender i couldn't wait for her to you know i was like whatever
01:25:04.140 you're on your own i left i came back to bc and i'm driving around bc looking for a place to stay
01:25:11.660 like how am i gonna survive i sold uh uh my quad for like nothing a generator and you know i sold
01:25:17.740 a few of my stuff just to survive right and uh i'm driving so and i pull my friend oh no i go back to
01:25:31.340 sorry i missed the spot i was in saskatoon so after this is february and then march
01:25:36.860 i went i went to saskatoon and i stayed at a french place he's ex-military and he really
01:25:41.860 helped me out saved my life pretty much oh yeah right they say you're gonna have to do these
01:25:45.900 grievances yeah right so so the grievances are in saskatoon so i went to saskatoon to do these
01:25:52.400 grievances with captain parker and uh he's like holy shit can't believe this is happening to you
01:25:57.380 i get that a lot but we did get that a lot you know what i'm glad you've got a sense of humor
01:26:04.780 about all this and again i'm sorry to laugh because i know this is one of the most crazy
01:26:09.520 things that i've ever heard in my life just so everyone knows they could go on my facebook
01:26:14.400 and most of this information is there a lot of the recordings are there i i had to i kept a lot
01:26:20.460 a lot because i for the grand finale you know but uh you know just because i you know if i heard my
01:26:26.920 story i think i was insane you know i was you know i was you know i i understand that so um
01:26:33.560 so i so i do the grievances and he says well this takes months to get done and i had no money you
01:26:42.060 know so so i sold my quad and uh i phoned an ex-girlfriend of mine and uh their friend of
01:26:48.060 mine whatever from high school and she's up here in bella bella and uh she's i said look i'm looking
01:26:54.740 for a place to retire she's oh you got to come here your kid will love it they'll love you because
01:26:58.680 I can fix anything you know I'm a really handy guy and hard worker so uh so I was okay so I come
01:27:05.300 here and uh got here January uh March 28th I think it was or 29th 2019 and I kind of settled in
01:27:16.500 well I went to the police station because uh and I walked in with Kenneth there and I said uh
01:27:24.740 i want to talk to you guys so i go into the office and i put the barrel of a 45 on the table
01:27:29.760 and what's this i said it's a barrel of a 45 you know what's going on i was like well i don't want
01:27:36.900 you to get too involved because it's way above your pay grade i just want to be left alone and
01:27:41.220 live in peace but someday the military might find out where i am and they're going to come after me
01:27:45.540 and uh if they do that i want you to tell me it was a professional courtesy
01:27:50.000 you know come see me because they knew where i was living i was living in the back of my truck
01:27:55.760 in a camper like a like a one that hits on the truck like an eight foot big bear whatever big
01:28:01.180 foot and uh so i'm on facebook going crazy like posting all this stuff and then finally i get a
01:28:11.560 phone call like kirk you're gonna like you're gonna lose your kid you're gonna lose your house
01:28:16.340 you lose everything you work for just go back to larange who was it that was major uh major boy
01:28:25.060 and she called a female from uh this climate and i say this major is threatening you now on the phone
01:28:31.380 i they all threatened me about the kids like losing my house and kids and stuff like that
01:28:37.300 uh what do they call it not a direct threat but uh implied or whatever either way and i say to
01:28:43.300 to her and this was in i think it was june 8th or something like that i says look i'm on a remote
01:28:48.800 island oh yeah let's go back to the military police says kirk you can never go home until
01:28:54.620 this is resolved i'm like i know that you know she says how are you going to survive i was like
01:28:58.920 i have more skills than anybody i know i says i can survive anywhere on the planet i was like
01:29:03.100 how are you guys going to pull this off you know how are you going to do it and she says i don't
01:29:07.780 know how are you gonna find me on the top of a mountain somewhere in washington state or the
01:29:14.500 yukon or alaska yukon's a nice place i'd love to go to whitehorse again but either way so um
01:29:21.000 so i left yeah uh shipped uh oh yeah and i talked to the rcp and uh they said okay
01:29:31.580 i said what do you want to keep the barrel it's 45 and she says nope and then kenneth
01:29:36.400 said you want to keep the grenades so she's her face is dropped you know we don't want to keep
01:29:43.220 anything from you so i went back my business and was fine for a few months you know but but on june
01:29:49.460 there uh the major says kirk you're gonna lose everything i said look i'm on a remote island
01:29:55.660 my ex-girlfriend is in charge of the child welfare system for the whole freaking place you know and
01:30:03.660 And sure, I'm living in the back of my truck, but it's okay because, you know, it's summertime.
01:30:09.960 And I said, I'm doing a lot of jobs.
01:30:13.380 So I was surviving, you know, like they paid cash.
01:30:15.620 And, you know, the really, really wonderful people here, like they saved my life, you know.
01:30:20.280 I can't say that about anybody else, but they helped me so much.
01:30:24.580 But either way, and that's the last I talked to her.
01:30:27.700 and then uh i left my guns at uh at the fire at the police station uh like it was just a 22
01:30:38.140 chicken gun with a 25 shot clip well i guess that's illegal but i left him there and the guy
01:30:44.660 that was looking at like the new they had a new rcp come in he's like how come you're keeping your
01:30:48.100 gun here i was like well because i live in my truck you know i don't want to i had to go get
01:30:52.440 a new bank account because they seized my i'd start another bank account i went to town with
01:30:57.340 six thousand dollar check and i said look can i get a thousand dollars out of this you know i
01:31:02.860 start a new bank account i got a thousand dollars out of it and then they seized that check the rest
01:31:08.300 of it so uh either way i come back uh i had no contact with anybody and then this new rcp comes
01:31:19.660 up because i was gonna go to the range and shoot and that was september 9th 2019 and uh i get it
01:31:27.340 from the police station and then the next day i think it was the rcmp came and found me where i
01:31:32.460 was working as my son was with me and they said kirk they know where you are now because he pinned
01:31:38.460 my my pal my firearms acquisition license right and it alerted the military where i was and i'm
01:31:45.180 I'm like, okay, well, let's get this started.
01:31:47.200 So I go to the, when I first got here, I went to my friend Igmar's place.
01:31:52.240 I says, look, someday they're going to arrest me.
01:31:54.180 You have to promise you'll look after my son forever.
01:31:56.700 I said, my parents are well off.
01:31:58.260 Here's their numbers.
01:32:00.260 He's like, what the fuck are you talking about?
01:32:02.240 I said, well, no, trust me.
01:32:03.700 You mean Igmar didn't have any idea what you've been going through?
01:32:06.720 He just thought you were some guy named Kirk who came to the island.
01:32:09.360 Nobody here does.
01:32:10.080 It's like, it's too much.
01:32:11.280 and that's the thing is they can't comprehend people normal people can't comprehend the story
01:32:16.180 like this right because it's it's not possible right so either way uh he's living a double life
01:32:24.420 he's in he witnessed protection i mean that's how it sounds right it's like seriously like i said at
01:32:29.780 the beginning of the of the interview here the discussion it sounds like a movie or one of those
01:32:34.980 you know nine part netflix things i picked a place where there's lots of food and water it's you don't
01:32:40.220 have to you know you can work for food they they love my son they love me you know like they like
01:32:45.640 said really good people they asked me what the hell are you doing here first of all i said well
01:32:48.660 i'm actually electrician i can fix anything so they warmed up to me pretty quick because they
01:32:54.660 they really did need a person like me here but um so uh i i see igmar i take kenneth to school
01:33:03.760 and i say igmar you're gonna have to look after kenneth he's okay yeah we'll pick him up after
01:33:07.740 i'm like i doubt it and he didn't click at the time well he gets a call from the rcmp that i
01:33:14.060 was arrested so i go to i go to the hospital i said and i talked to this doctor she's a really
01:33:19.300 nice lady i said look this is my story real quick i'm gonna get arrested they're gonna say i'm crazy
01:33:25.900 uh i have this corruption story involving trudeau i'm not homicidal i'm not suicidal i recorded the
01:33:33.120 whole thing you know i this is my recording device and i had it right in here okay you know
01:33:42.220 what is that this is a microphone or no i don't it uh records your phone calls when you like you
01:33:50.420 can you can talk on it even and i'm talking into this thing i'm talking in the hospital with this
01:33:55.200 thing and they think i'm batshit crazy right you're recording everything i gotta get me one
01:34:00.580 of those oh yeah for sure i'll hook you up it's a lifesaver either way um uh yeah so they had four
01:34:10.940 four rcp there two of them knew what was going on and two of them didn't you know and i was like
01:34:16.280 come on now now it's your time to use your ethics you know you guys know what's going on
01:34:19.660 they didn't say a goddamn word you know so they said the next day you're gonna get shipped out to
01:34:26.420 to a mental hospital. I'm like, okay, perfect. You know, you know,
01:34:30.160 my truth will come out then, you know,
01:34:32.340 of course what they're going to do is they're going to make you look like
01:34:40.980 you're crazy. And that'll be the end of Kirk wreath. That's it.
01:34:45.640 So, so I'm there and they're like, okay, well,
01:34:49.220 we're going to medicate you. I'm like, no, no, no.
01:34:51.220 It's like nothing in me. Like do not medicate for what?
01:34:54.420 well for the plane you know you got to be on the plane we're worried you're going to freak out in
01:34:58.200 the plane i was like i used to jump out of helicopters when i was firefighting my dad has
01:35:02.400 three planes i've been in planes since i was two years old he's doing part of an airline you know
01:35:06.920 like i've been in planes all my life in helicopters you know and they're like no well you're gonna
01:35:11.340 have to be put in a straight jacket then i'm like okay yeah no problem putting me in a straight
01:35:14.860 jacket you know i don't really like being defenseless but okay let's do it so they put
01:35:19.280 me in a straight jacket and then they say okay we're going to give this these medications to
01:35:22.300 knock you out and that's against my human rights and the geneva convention for giving person
01:35:27.800 medication that they don't need so i woke up two days later in the mental hospital and i thought
01:35:34.020 okay well this is gonna be quick they'll send a doctor to me we'll talk about it they didn't send
01:35:40.260 a doctor to me for like a week so i'm just trying to get by and i'm like i'm thinking oh i'm in
01:35:46.580 pretty bad shape here you know because not many people knew my whole story sure i posted a lot
01:35:52.780 of crazy stuff on facebook but actually no a normal person should have been able to put two
01:35:57.640 and two together but i guess i underestimated their own normal people well they got to take
01:36:03.360 the time to to be able to piece it all together right with all of the things that and it's like
01:36:08.800 this is crazy i'm sure kirk that there's a lot of people who have said this this guy he's nuts
01:36:14.740 he's just attention seeking my family you know all my friends but uh either way i accepted that
01:36:22.720 like i knew i was never going home you know and uh okay which brings me back to this letter
01:36:28.700 so i sent a letter to trudeau saying look i caught your your band chief time to cook searson
01:36:33.400 stealing i can never go home again i've been threatened by the military here's my service
01:36:37.880 number my address my you know send that to them i get a response thank you for your service
01:36:43.100 we know this has been distressing for you but it's got nothing to do with trudeau it falls
01:36:48.680 into harjit minister of national defense who my boss said that he worked with harjit in afghanistan
01:36:55.680 i'm like
01:36:56.660 like the bad luck just keeps on coming yeah wow yeah so i'm in deep trouble in the in the mental
01:37:09.120 hospital i just tried to get by right i phoned uh human rights they say i have none because i'm
01:37:16.000 i'm in the service i phoned uh like about racism because i was the only white guy in the patrol
01:37:22.520 right they're like well no that's not that's not racism because it's nothing i didn't fit in any
01:37:30.640 categories right i wrote the public integrity commissioner of canada joe friday saying about
01:37:37.060 all this reprisal because you're not allowed to be faced reprisal for reporting wrongdoing
01:37:41.240 why i disagree with that he says it's not his department because he was hired by trudeau
01:37:47.600 hand-picked and nominated by trudeau joe friday you wrote me joe friday is his name like the
01:37:52.460 dragnet character i don't know i don't i don't know just the facts ma'am just the facts you know
01:37:59.100 that's what i that's what i try to deal with it's just stuff i can prove because if i say something
01:38:03.460 i can't prove i sound like a crazy person but if i can prove all this stuff so i'm in the hospital
01:38:08.880 just trying to get by and i'm thinking there's a lot of crazy people here
01:38:12.380 and they're saying you have to take these drugs for uh paranoid schizophrenia i'm like i'm not
01:38:18.300 paranoid schizophrenia i can prove everything kirk you really think the army is out to get you
01:38:23.240 you think there's a conspiracy out to get you i'm like i can prove it well kirk you're never
01:38:29.600 going to get out of here unless you take these meds i'm like i'm not taking those meds where
01:38:32.620 going to force them then i was like well you better bring some pretty tough guys in here
01:38:35.260 because i was under the strafe jacket then right and they i said give me oh it's all written down
01:38:39.660 in my notebook too you know the dates and who i talked to and everything either way um
01:38:47.420 uh so they uh so i so i didn't have to take the meds and then i see people walking around
01:38:52.060 with their earbuds in and i said hey can i have my uh my ipod player whatever this thing is you
01:39:00.460 know it was in my briefcase and a charger well my charger is a listening device as well right
01:39:05.900 and my pen's a camera so they gave me that stuff and i was able to record the doctors and the
01:39:14.700 nurses saying this and i'm you know and uh i'm talking to this nurse and you should listen to
01:39:20.220 it's on my facebook like kirk how are you gonna get out of this i was like well i got no problem
01:39:26.220 i was like someday you're going to be listening to cbc i highly doubt it now
01:39:30.860 you're going to hear your voice on the tv asking me this question because i was recording her
01:39:36.940 so i think the nurses got what was going on so they transferred out
01:39:41.420 and then i was able to talk to a doctor and this doctor says kirk
01:39:46.460 uh well first of all in bc you have to be there for 21 days this is day 10 or something like that
01:39:52.060 and i talked to the doctor and he seemed like a pretty good fella unfortunately the other doctors
01:39:57.240 were ex-military so i'm pretty much you know i was just in bad shape and uh so i talked to this
01:40:04.940 one doctor and he says kirk uh you know do you have paranoid delusions like do you think this
01:40:10.900 is happening i'm like yes it's like kirk you know you're not gonna do so well here if you don't
01:40:17.280 start admitting that this is false you know i'm like well i says i can prove everything
01:40:21.500 and he's like how's that i said well bring me my briefcase it's full of my documents
01:40:26.720 and i looked him in right in the eye and i was like i'm recording you right now
01:40:32.160 and i says how do you spell your last name he wouldn't even spell his last name he says you
01:40:38.220 don't have to be here anymore because i think he believed me because he didn't know i had a friend
01:40:43.940 come in and she actually took it took my devices out and copied everything and then she brought
01:40:48.720 them back because you know it's all on my records that he had friend come in where where was this
01:40:53.840 mental hospital was in vancouver in vancouver the same place dr hoffman i think for reporting uh
01:41:02.960 whatever vaccine injuries or whatever but uh yeah so i'm there i said i can i said i can prove
01:41:09.840 everything either way he believed me uh they gave me a lawyer for my tribunal he says kirk they're
01:41:15.520 They're not doing anything in here to help you.
01:41:17.160 They never will.
01:41:18.400 You better start playing ball.
01:41:19.580 And I was recording it, right?
01:41:21.980 This is your own lawyer speaking now.
01:41:23.740 You better start playing ball.
01:41:25.360 They supply one.
01:41:26.920 The government does.
01:41:27.400 Yeah, that's what I'm saying, right?
01:41:28.780 But he's still supposed to represent you.
01:41:31.300 Yeah, no.
01:41:31.660 And, yeah.
01:41:34.180 By law, which I found out later, I had to be there 21 days.
01:41:37.020 But either way, so this, I'll call him the good doctor.
01:41:41.080 He says, okay, well, we're going to give you some passes for a couple hours.
01:41:46.640 Well, I had no money.
01:41:47.760 You know, I had $10 or something.
01:41:50.820 So they gave me the four-hour pass.
01:41:53.180 So I walk out.
01:41:57.300 I made the bad choice of taking a crazy person with me. 0.99
01:42:00.400 This other lady was allowed to go, and she was a nice person.
01:42:03.160 She just thought her uncle was the king of Monaco or something.
01:42:06.880 seriously really nice lady though but
01:42:11.960 so i thought i'd chaperone or whatever so i i walked down the street and there's a
01:42:17.720 liberal office liberal nomination office and i was like hey wait a minute wait a minute hold it
01:42:22.500 hold it hold it what are you wearing at this point like are you still an inpatient
01:42:26.840 at this place i had uh i had army pants like fatigues and uh just a regular t-shirt
01:42:33.220 um and that's it because i've heard you tell this story before and i thought well if you
01:42:39.140 were wearing a gown that kind of ties up at the back and you walk like that might be this guy's
01:42:45.220 crazy they still thought i was crazy but i showed her and it's in my recordings and i showed her
01:42:53.940 the evidence right some of them she's oh my god you know what do you want us to do about it like
01:42:57.600 i want you to know and you can listen to it that i'm warning him that he's got corrupt people running
01:43:02.240 as liberal candidates and i sent it to the green light committee like who who who vets their
01:43:07.680 candidates and they do you think it's gonna help that's what they said do you think it's gonna help
01:43:12.940 i have all the emails you know either way she was investigated they never phoned me like all
01:43:19.100 these people that investigate my story they never called me for any to talk to me to take any of my
01:43:23.380 evidence you know no follow-up wow yeah so i'm at this liberal office i show her a few things
01:43:30.280 and then this crazy lady starts rambling off about morocco or something like oh my god let's go
01:43:35.640 so either way we walk out of there and uh there's an ndp office across the street a few blocks down
01:43:42.980 so i go and talk to this lady and um you know she was crying when i left i told her the story
01:43:50.660 she's like oh my god because i was i said i'm ex-military or military trying to report
01:43:54.480 corruption like what's going on and she's well i'm a liberal nominee i mean an ndp nominee
01:43:59.100 she ended up not winning and then she got transferred to run a school in ontario like
01:44:06.280 on the school board so she lost the ndp in vancouver transferred to ontario to run a school
01:44:11.600 board but uh i i go back to the hospital and uh it's okay well the captain and the lieutenant
01:44:20.120 are gonna come pick you up tomorrow so and they'll just they'll uh release me like i just
01:44:25.720 to be released without a 5f so i'm okay they pick me up you know they're like kirk we know you're
01:44:31.640 going through some hard times they take us to cabela's or meet to cabela's in a rental car
01:44:37.400 and they say meet us back at the car in an hour so they went shopping i had ten dollars so i bought
01:44:43.960 some deodorant and uh met them back at the car and we're driving we get on the ferry from vancouver
01:44:51.000 to esquimaux and who phones me but the vancouver police which is also recorded on my facebook
01:44:58.360 and they're shaking me down did you threaten tudot i'm like well no i didn't threaten them
01:45:05.320 i said i can ruin political and military careers if this when this gets out that was a threat
01:45:12.600 and they said i was wearing full combats which i don't even never owned full camp combats you know
01:45:16.600 i anyways they're just they all just lied and then they well what about the mvp are they lying too
01:45:23.240 i'm like yep you know and uh they said do you have your pedal on you so i gave my pal which is
01:45:31.000 they they asked for it to give to the captain which i did i don't know why it's that's an
01:45:36.680 interesting conversation to listen to on the facebook but uh so they suspended my pal right
01:45:41.400 there and uh then we went to the squamo where the captain locked the keys in the car at the military
01:45:49.720 police but i had my briefcase with me but they wouldn't take it oh no they took the briefcase
01:45:55.560 but they wouldn't take a copy of this the recordings so you know i had my my birth
01:46:03.880 certificates in there uh for my son and stuff and they wouldn't give those back i actually
01:46:07.720 like yeah we looked through everything we couldn't see anything wrong
01:46:10.680 but they wouldn't take the evidence right but that's okay because i'm trying to get released
01:46:17.280 they wouldn't take the evidence because it was above their pay grade again or they just
01:46:22.980 didn't want to get involved right told me they can only investigate uh the same rank or lower
01:46:28.640 right and these guys are master corporals they're the same as me you know so they can only investigate
01:46:33.840 it nothing right i guess so uh so when is all this now this is like still 2019
01:46:41.780 it's still 2019 this is uh september around the 20th of of uh september 2019 um shoot
01:46:50.500 there was a good one there uh okay well yeah i'm with the captain uh they take my pal okay
01:47:01.100 locked themselves out of the car. I finished talking to the military
01:47:03.500 police who wouldn't really do anything.
01:47:06.100 They phoned a friend of mine
01:47:07.280 who was actually a Navy
01:47:08.880 diver to give
01:47:10.920 me a ride to the hotel to check
01:47:13.540 in. And then they
01:47:15.480 said they'll meet me at the
01:47:17.540 hotel or
01:47:19.420 a restaurant down the street
01:47:20.880 in an hour after they get their car back
01:47:23.380 and stuff. So I
01:47:25.400 meet them there.
01:47:27.200 But you didn't have any money. Like you got
01:47:29.340 10 bucks and so you bought deodorant right yeah so they took me to a restaurant and they bought
01:47:34.520 me a few drinks well all over my my hospital admission says he's a raging alcoholic violent
01:47:40.400 drug addicted you know which i'm not none of that is true but that's what they say but how can he
01:47:45.740 disprove it well i can disprove it because i have random drug tests for freaking eight years i've
01:47:50.220 never been in a fight that you know was too bad or anything and i got no record that was anything
01:47:54.960 to mention really either way they're they're saying okay well we're gonna get to release
01:47:59.400 kirk you're gonna get your life back sign here and i read the paper 5f i says i'm not signing
01:48:06.660 a 5f release because that's what they said in the beginning he's like you can never work for
01:48:10.580 the government again i was like well i don't care if i work for the government again i can't work
01:48:13.580 for anyone that's corrupt right so uh either way and i'm talking there and they said kirk you want
01:48:20.320 some company tonight like what like what do you mean are you gonna get like one of your cousins
01:48:26.200 or something i'm in up to the room they're asking pretty much if i want to hook it it's recorded
01:48:32.160 on my device it's on my facebook you know or youtube sorry either way wait a minute you've
01:48:39.780 got original copies of all of these recordings right and and i sent copies of this to politicians
01:48:46.640 all over you know including conservative politicians like because they're always
01:48:53.360 looking like especially the conservatives would be looking for anything they can find in the
01:48:56.980 liberal party i started with the green party they're the first ones that called the rcmp on me
01:49:01.640 and then uh i've tried uh yeah then i thought the conservatives would be all over this ndp would be
01:49:07.720 all over this no none of them you know okay so now we know you guys that they're all wings of
01:49:14.280 the same bird and they don't want any
01:49:16.340 government corruption to get
01:49:18.280 out. Yeah, well, I got O'Neill
01:49:20.460 on there, I got Pierre, I got
01:49:22.380 Pierre
01:49:24.120 Polyev? Yeah.
01:49:26.940 It's just on my Facebook there,
01:49:28.280 you can look, I think I posted it yesterday again.
01:49:30.460 I post this stuff on Facebook and it comes
01:49:32.360 up every year to remind me.
01:49:34.500 That's why they say, don't post anything on Facebook.
01:49:36.800 Well, what am I
01:49:38.440 supposed to, you know, I've got so much evidence
01:49:40.540 that's why I think I'm still
01:49:42.340 alive is because I posted this stuff and they're like,
01:49:44.280 they didn't know about the recordings until this last year when i had someone come up and i said
01:49:48.840 i don't even know if this thing works we stuck it in the computer bang there's a thousand recordings
01:49:56.280 what did the poly of recording show
01:50:00.120 uh i mean you can just paraphrase it you don't have to i just told him a military whistleblower
01:50:06.440 looking for help here's my service number here's my phone number i said i can help you win the
01:50:10.600 the election uh i got dirt on trudeau or something uh it's on my facebook but that's all i do is
01:50:17.120 tell them the minimum so that i would catch their interest and get a phone call
01:50:21.640 well everyone's like uh michael barrett they called me for 17 minutes and i recorded everything
01:50:29.960 and they told them a 17 minute version they're like holy smokes uh-oh camera seems to be going
01:50:35.800 and uh they then they said this is friday okay we'll phone you back on monday with a solution
01:50:42.000 then i i'm blocked and that's what all they do is they take it and they block me you know
01:50:47.820 and they block you yeah like i can't connect with them anymore it used to show where they
01:50:53.920 their face it shows that they they read it and then the rest just aren't read anymore
01:50:59.220 they just block you right okay so i'm wondering if we can maybe start a campaign
01:51:07.380 to get these politicians aware of this story so that they can do something about it like are you
01:51:14.420 being pursued today i mean like we're at the point of your story where it's about four and a half
01:51:20.760 years ago right after the mental five years so you're the mental hospital you've been released
01:51:26.640 from that uh you you've had the meetings with the military nothing's happening there the
01:51:31.720 vancouver police are suggesting that you threatened justin trudeau um the ndp won't do anything
01:51:39.460 the so what has your life been like now for the past five years it's been like uh living like a
01:51:45.580 fugitive with my kid you know and uh like i lost everything they seized my house like i i had
01:51:51.340 everything paid four years ago right and then they say well you owe 350 000 so we're leaving
01:51:55.580 your house you know it's and it's at the press of a button they can erase my history they can erase
01:52:01.180 everything about me when i went to get a bank account they said have you never had a bank
01:52:06.940 account before i says i've been dealing with you guys for 35 years i gave them my bank card she
01:52:12.620 said her screen went blank and then i showed up same with when i got a driver's license have you
01:52:17.100 never had a driver's license before i said i had my my air brakes motorcycle since i was 16.
01:52:22.780 there's there's no record i give them my my license number like off the top of my head
01:52:27.700 and she punches it in and then she says that's weird my screen went blank and there it is you
01:52:31.840 know so how is it that i'm sorry to interrupt you kirk how is it that you've been able to survive
01:52:38.740 without any bank accounts well because they pay me in fisher like i'll get a pallet of like they
01:52:44.960 count a lot of fish and uh they'll pay me like a hundred dollars here a hundred dollars there
01:52:49.240 a person doesn't need a lot of money where i live and i picked a place where i could live with no
01:52:55.020 money right and uh you know um oh but they did give me that 110 000 back which i gave away
01:53:04.380 probably half of it to people that needed it because i didn't need it here and uh you know
01:53:10.640 i bought a vehicle and stuff like that but uh and then okay here's how i got my money they said i
01:53:17.540 was dying right i found out later uh a doctor who said wait wait wait who said you were dying
01:53:24.960 military doctors these guys i've never met i've never met these doctors so they pulled me on the
01:53:32.020 phone and you know i admit my story sounds pretty crazy he says he questions my ability to parent
01:53:37.500 or anything with my paranoid delusions so basically another threat to take and take away
01:53:42.380 my kid right so i had to get letters from the chiefs over here saying that they respect me and
01:53:48.220 we're fine here and uh we're productive members of the community and stuff like that you know like
01:53:53.480 i had to get letters but uh yeah there's a whole bunch of good stuff i'm just starting to miss out
01:53:59.560 here um so either way uh so this is september i they sent me they i wouldn't sign the release
01:54:08.980 papers they say we'll do that i go to the room they gave me 50 to catch a cab i think it was
01:54:15.300 48 or something they say send us in the receipt if there's anything else so i come back on the plane
01:54:23.460 and uh i go pick up my kid as if nothing happened uh all the kids say kirk the rcp were near
01:54:30.660 your camper for like three days they were they were looking for those grenades
01:54:34.500 but there there were no real grenades they were smoke grenades but they never found those either
01:54:39.620 so it didn't matter but uh either way and i thought everything was going to be looked after
01:54:45.920 so this is september 21st 22nd i get back i find out the rcmp filed uh
01:54:52.980 to they took away my pal like they made this file is october 1st and so october 1st is when
01:55:02.660 the lieutenant colonel found out that i lost my pal or it was suspended so that's how they got me
01:55:07.720 kicked out of the military because there's 5 000 of us that get to take our military rifles home
01:55:11.640 and i was one of them and uh so that's how they got me kicked out because i couldn't have my
01:55:16.820 service rifle with me when i was suspended but you said that they that they haven't really
01:55:23.740 kicked you out yet well they kind of sort of they did on paper but again in the in the report
01:55:30.680 uh it says uh no entity exists to change this decision unless the release was made in air
01:55:36.940 or some obvious or was illegal or if some obvious errors were made well they made
01:55:42.140 super obvious errors you know so yeah i'm not don't worry i'm not trying to join again
01:55:47.160 so where are you going to go from here now i mean like you say you've been living like a fugitive
01:55:52.920 for the past five years so i got a call from the doctor in bella bella like kirk can you come in
01:55:59.120 here i'm like whoa pretty serious you know because i'm stressed right out and got lumps on the my
01:56:04.100 head growing and stuff but uh he said kirk uh do you know you have a grave illness i'm like what
01:56:10.200 are you talking about he says well i'm going through your files here and this doctor says
01:56:14.160 you have paranoid schizophrenia which is a grave illness which is going to drastically shorten your
01:56:19.560 lifespan i'm like really well i'm like right on
01:56:25.920 he's like well if i'm dying i can cash out my civilian pension so i cashed out my civilian
01:56:34.560 pension and got like 180 000 and then uh they seized or not seized i had to pay like 44 000
01:56:40.720 in taxes and then i bought this boat and paid for gas and stuff like that i had 235 left when i
01:56:47.300 bought this it's actually a ship and that's another weird story but uh either way we're
01:56:55.020 and that and it's a good place to work and it's it's a beautiful boat and but we don't want to
01:57:01.960 get thrown off the story here but so this is a um i got released october 1st i phoned uh veterans
01:57:09.740 affairs oh i found out i was released oh yeah i phoned them and asked for my uh my pay from those
01:57:16.780 two days when i went to talk to the lieutenant colonel and they said oh yeah no we need your
01:57:21.600 banking information i'm like oh god i just got a new bank account here so it was like two hundred
01:57:26.480 dollars or something that they sent me that was november 10th i checked it i went to remember
01:57:32.960 stay uh service here i went to get something from the store they seized it again are you still
01:57:41.440 are you still loyal to the service no i'm loyal to canada and that's the only thing i was ever
01:57:49.880 loyal to is my family and
01:57:51.280 every Canadian and, you know,
01:57:53.920 good people. You can be anything
01:57:55.880 and if you're good, I'm loyal to you, you know.
01:57:58.560 How can people help you?
01:58:00.860 And I recommend
01:58:01.920 to you that you write a screenplay
01:58:04.360 or find a ghostwriter or something.
01:58:06.060 Write a screenplay for the story that you've
01:58:08.100 got.
01:58:08.760 That's what they said to me.
01:58:09.960 I said,
01:58:10.200 before I went
01:58:14.960 to
01:58:16.020 the
01:58:18.840 Conewalk space, I thought I'd go to CBC in Vancouver. I phoned them and I talked to the
01:58:27.820 boss and I said, look, I got some stuff about corruption politics. It goes up the ladder.
01:58:32.860 It's like, hold here, hold here, hold here. And then like, we don't investigate or comment on
01:58:37.060 anything regarding political corruption in politics. And that was like five years ago.
01:58:42.180 So I go to, I go to the office and the security guard there, he actually recognized me. He says,
01:58:48.720 hello mr reese they already knew i was coming and i tried to give them this usb he says there's no
01:58:54.340 way they won't touch it he says your best bets to go on youtube i was like i don't want to go
01:58:58.700 on youtube i don't want to be known i i want my kids to grow up normal in a normal country but
01:59:03.100 that's that ship has sailed you know it's already you know the only way they can help me is to get
01:59:09.200 my story out there and get a couple politicians arrested or let me testify you know or i have a
01:59:15.120 facebook kirk reese proved me wrong not one phone call in five years that's even tried because they
01:59:20.380 know i'm not lying you know i wonder if any of these politicians understand how it would benefit
01:59:28.620 them because these people they're only into benefiting themselves in the a lot of cases
01:59:32.840 right well i told all the other people that were running for chief they all know my story not one
01:59:38.340 of them said a goddamn word because they're scared they're they're intimidated right there
01:59:42.460 they're intimidated they like can you tell us what it's like on a reserve like it's pretty much
01:59:49.880 a one family show isn't it oh yeah yeah reprise our uh nepotism comes to mind yeah they keep
01:59:56.260 electing the same crooked ones and in the ranch her uncle was the chief for like the 30 years
02:00:00.920 before that so they can't get any new blood in there because then they'll expose all the 1.00
02:00:05.380 the goodies like she owns like probably the biggest shares in sass power of anybody she's 1.00
02:00:12.800 in charge of the chemical uranium she's on the board of directors for for your for chemical you
02:00:18.860 know it's i'm really hoping that you know one of the shows that you do whether it's this one or
02:00:25.120 whether it's one you've already done or whether one you'll do in the future i certainly hope that
02:00:29.260 somebody who can actually help seize it and actually just sits down and takes the time to
02:00:34.740 watch i think what we're up against mostly these days is attention spans people attention spans
02:00:39.860 have just gotten so short you know and for your story to be told i mean here we are going into
02:00:45.940 hour three of this story and we're not quite finished yet which is you know good stuff
02:00:51.960 there's there's more stuff it's terrible yeah but uh
02:00:59.540 uh yeah like uh so i'm kicked out of the well yeah released i found out november 20th i think
02:01:11.380 it was that i was released so i phoned veterans affairs and uh they registered me and everything
02:01:17.540 and then all of a sudden kirk you have dyslamia which is mild depression which is nothing to get
02:01:23.840 kicked out of the military for but uh the i phoned the ombudsman and he he said how was your release
02:01:32.920 i said well i got a military medical release they said medical release rangers can't get medical
02:01:38.420 releases well it's either a medical release or a 5f and i think it's both because uh they say
02:01:45.220 my service caused my my my depression but uh so the so they sent a hundred they said well you get
02:01:53.800 eight hundred dollars a month or something for the rest of your life i'm like well i don't think
02:01:57.800 the banking system is going to last that long so uh can i cash out so i i was able to get a lump
02:02:02.820 sum thank god veterans affairs helped me out like there's somebody there helping me because they
02:02:07.020 didn't have to do that but they sent it to me within a week and uh they sent it to the the bank
02:02:12.660 and it got seized.
02:02:13.860 So I had no money at Christmas.
02:02:15.620 But then they sent it to me again in January, I think it was,
02:02:18.580 like late January.
02:02:20.520 And, you know, that's how I was able to survive.
02:02:24.760 Can you legally change your name, Kirk, to something else
02:02:28.580 so they wouldn't be able to seize your accounts?
02:02:31.600 Well, they haven't seized my accounts.
02:02:32.760 I think they know they've done enough.
02:02:36.480 Because I'm still wanting to get this $350,000 back with interest.
02:02:40.440 but uh i gotta be able to sit down with an accountant and no one wants to touch this
02:02:46.580 because it's so brutal you know they say we'll pay five hundred dollars for an accountant to
02:02:51.960 look after your stuff i was like i don't think five hundred dollars is going to cut it but if
02:02:55.820 you give them twenty percent of it's well over half a million dollars now with interest you know
02:03:00.880 i might know a guy who'd be interested in helping you out yeah actually i wrote down a
02:03:07.600 a guy here yeah either way like there's a lot of stress where i just don't want to tell the story
02:03:15.080 anymore but uh it's got to be every time i look at someone like those coots men or uh shauna you
02:03:21.800 know and all these people that are being facing reprisal for doing what they think like some of
02:03:28.480 the stuff some of the guys fucked up i admit that but or i think they did but it's not not that bad
02:03:33.820 they don't have to suffer for two years and stuff like that every time i see something wrong it
02:03:38.080 infuriates me so i i don't give up and then every once in a while i'll get an email saying kirk
02:03:42.980 we really appreciate everything you're doing please don't stop you know and that's the stuff
02:03:47.720 that keeps me going because not what i signed up for no i mean you all you did was the right thing
02:03:55.020 man like that's you're an honorable man with a crazy story so today you've you've got your kids
02:04:02.180 with you yeah after a couple years i was able to when i got that money i told my exes to go buy you
02:04:08.980 uh an suv so you can come and visit twice a year with my with my child you can bring your boyfriend
02:04:14.260 or whatever i don't care as long as i can see my daughter i'll buy you this car it spent a lot of 0.82
02:04:18.820 time in uh in the impound that car let's just say for impaired and stuff so i was able to talk her
02:04:26.900 into we live in a beautiful place here i'm a great dad she knows that she's a good mom most of the
02:04:31.900 time when she's you know but uh i said i think it's better if she's here and she agreed so thank
02:04:36.560 god i got my daughter here and that's when i started to really go on with the recordings and
02:04:40.860 stuff because i didn't have to worry about her back in the wrong it's like look it up there's
02:04:44.840 so many murders there no one does a thing about it you know it's just another day so you've got
02:04:50.660 your family all around you have you been threatened at all lately whether it's a phone call or
02:04:55.700 nothing no no there's a lot of people that are worried for me i'm like well and that's the other
02:05:00.320 thing the military police say kirk you can't live in fear all your life i'm like i'm not living in
02:05:05.940 fear i'm pretty stressed out but you know i'm not you know i i've had a good life i just and that's
02:05:15.400 what i said i want my kids to have something when i'm gone you know so get me that money back that's
02:05:19.880 mine it's my money anyways you know i might like i said i might know somebody who who can help you
02:05:26.880 not a lawyer but definitely an accountant who knows his way around some numbers yeah well see
02:05:32.400 i phoned somebody and i paid them three thousand dollars but they never get back to me but
02:05:36.000 like people i don't get emails i don't think they work you know like the major says
02:05:40.480 five years ago kirk all of your correspondence is being monitored i'm like well i believe it
02:05:46.080 because i hardly get any phone calls it's you know nothing against any of these people maybe
02:05:50.560 they're just not getting the messages so as far as i'm concerned everybody has a clean slate right
02:05:55.040 now all these politicians that are trying to do the best thing for canada if they want to do the
02:05:59.760 best thing for canada they're going to get me someone to talk to you know and they can probably
02:06:05.440 be wrong it's impossible you got to get the proof or it's not the proof you've got the proof you got
02:06:09.760 to get the truth out there and and that this is what we've been fighting you know for the past
02:06:15.520 four years many of us who didn't realize this was such an issue or maybe you'd hear a story like
02:06:20.480 yours on some tv news magazine on sunday night and go wow that's pretty that's pretty sad that
02:06:26.480 guy's had a rough life oh well next thing you do you're getting ready for work the next day and
02:06:31.200 you stop thinking about it but now i think so many people have woken up to the corruption of
02:06:36.280 the system and they hear a story like yours and they go you know what we got to help we got to
02:06:41.860 help them get this out there somehow some way so you know i'm happy that i could help do that
02:06:47.980 tonight is there anything that we missed that you need to get out well yeah okay so um so they had a
02:06:56.960 court for me like they illegally suspended my pal october 1st but they had court for me january 28th
02:07:05.280 to see if they could legally do it so i find this out and i tried to get an adjournment and they said
02:07:12.140 it was adjourned but i'm not having very good luck with government people so i go to the courthouse
02:07:16.860 here which is just a room above a coffee shop you know and uh they call my name so i just about
02:07:24.680 missed my own trial i said well i've been trying to get a lawyer but they legal aid won't touch me
02:07:29.580 no lawyers will contact me it's too bizarre so do you think there's a system for blacklisting
02:07:36.900 a person within every government like whether it's municipal provincial or federal like is
02:07:43.720 there a system for doing that like you've got a big black mark well you look at uh chad who is
02:07:49.460 with the uh military ombudsman he says kirk they have people they pay to ruin people's lives like
02:07:55.620 yours and this is the military ombudsman saying kirk it's the government they can do whatever
02:07:59.700 they want it's also recorded you know i have those recordings you know and that's the guy
02:08:04.080 that's supposed to be helping me they have people they pay what what are they called
02:08:09.000 these people i think they call them politicians
02:08:12.840 like you make it sound like they've got this like this platoon of guys who
02:08:19.440 i wouldn't put it past them like i'm not not make it out you know i have so many reporters
02:08:26.480 like i have so many reporters with my information they outright say we can't report on this
02:08:32.040 you know and these are the people that we pay with our taxes yeah you know and uh i i was going to do
02:08:38.400 a live with Jeremy
02:08:40.260 Jeffrey there and he's got a lot of the information
02:08:42.520 and it's on my Facebook.
02:08:44.000 These reporters, I posted it
02:08:46.520 on my Facebook
02:08:47.220 and they're all CBC, Global, APTN,
02:08:50.420 APTN, CTV,
02:08:53.400 National Post
02:08:54.300 or Western
02:08:56.400 Producer or Western
02:08:57.840 Standard.
02:09:00.480 Western Standard, three of them.
02:09:02.480 And then one of these reporters that
02:09:04.340 was supposed to call me back
02:09:05.860 ends up going to work for Daniel Smith.
02:09:08.400 so he said i'm not doing you know so they all know my story but they're all just too
02:09:13.940 they're they're either cowardly or they're corrupt it's simple as that you know
02:09:17.900 how hard is it to press share and send you know have you got a proton mail account i i do
02:09:26.040 i haven't used it for a couple years because no one no one ever emailed me but uh i'll give that
02:09:31.960 stuff to you later okay um i'm just wondering if there's anybody watching this right now
02:09:37.940 and i'm not sure let's see how many people are watching right now we've still like 1200 live
02:09:43.880 viewers um and there's probably going to be in the area of 10 to 15 000 who watch this episode
02:09:51.540 by wednesday or sorry by sunday night so guys um talking to you guys right now you guys watching
02:09:57.940 this if there's anything that you can do or think of or somebody you know who can help kirk out
02:10:06.520 here just getting the story out but also maybe you know somebody inside of some bureaucracy
02:10:15.320 some place who knows the answers who knows somebody who's got some integrity and can help
02:10:21.760 him get the story to the people who need to hear it because it's important we can't just leave
02:10:27.680 people behind like this kirk would never do that to any of us and i think it's only right that we
02:10:35.360 do everything we can to help just telling the story is courageous enough kirk i know what you
02:10:43.340 can do when you have your uh you're having a meeting on the 9th of march you can mention my
02:10:50.160 name in front of uh all those people with all the the ezra levant uh sponsorships chris barman
02:10:56.780 you're a leech maybe i will yeah i'll mention that laura lynn thompson all those people they
02:11:04.180 should know about my story they got lots of reach that's the thing is you know i verified my story
02:11:10.080 it's on my facebook they can't say he's he's lying they can't say he's crazy i went to talk
02:11:15.620 to veterans affairs here again on december 6th and that's the first time i've been able to see
02:11:20.440 somebody in person in five years and it was regarding my uh my disabilities and i said i am
02:11:27.040 zero percent disabled you know if if you guys take this documentation i am not disabled anymore
02:11:33.220 my life is back if you take this information and give it to the right people my life is back you
02:11:38.400 know we're not here to do that so what they did was they analyzed me at 111 mentally disabled
02:11:45.300 because of my paranoid delusions because of they wouldn't look at any of these documents
02:11:49.940 because if they did they're going to lose their jobs wow they either lose the jobs or they get
02:11:57.100 promoted like in the ranch the first person i talked to was russell morassi he was in charge
02:12:02.660 of f division for the rcmp in saskatchewan he was the top cop for years and we had coffee every
02:12:08.420 couple days because he retired in the ranch i told him my story he's like kirk you have to talk
02:12:11.940 to the rcmp ombudsman well as soon as that i did that my life turned to shit well guess what he
02:12:18.280 got promoted to the lieutenant governor of saskatchewan i know him personally and he won't
02:12:23.200 touch this you know that's how you want to talk about rabbit holes well you know i can prove
02:12:28.720 everything yeah there's there's people we know i mean the thing is there are people who do have
02:12:35.880 reach on social media but they're not so much media slash journalists like this particular show
02:12:41.700 is they're more activists, right?
02:12:43.760 And they have reach into the governments
02:12:46.940 and they have, like, somebody like Nadine Ness,
02:12:49.820 for example, with Unified Grassroots in Saskatoon,
02:12:52.740 might know some people.
02:12:54.440 I know some people with Take Back Alberta, you know,
02:12:57.280 who might be able to reach the right person
02:13:00.440 or push the right buttons.
02:13:01.640 I have connections here in Manitoba,
02:13:03.340 although since it got taken over by the NDP last year,
02:13:06.800 those bets may or may not be off.
02:13:09.060 But, you know, certainly there's got to be somebody who wants to stand up and do the right thing.
02:13:16.800 And if I was people like normal people, I'd be copying everything I post on Facebook and screenshot it and printing it off and send it to a politician.
02:13:25.360 Because if I'm gone, so is my story.
02:13:28.740 But it's all up on Facebook and YouTube.
02:13:30.800 You know, Mocha came here, did a story, a documentary on me.
02:13:33.880 He didn't share any evidence.
02:13:35.280 I think he was a little freaked out.
02:13:36.960 But, you know, Mark Friesen did an interview with me.
02:13:40.840 There's a lot of guys that do interviews with me.
02:13:43.520 Nicholas Iwanchak's been going hard for two years trying to get my story out.
02:13:46.960 Elliot came to my ship.
02:13:48.640 You know, Mocha came to my ship.
02:13:51.000 If anyone wants to come and take my evidence and get this out,
02:13:54.640 you can stay in the ship with us.
02:13:56.320 You know, I've got no problem with that.
02:13:58.000 It's just going to – you're going to have to be here for a week or two
02:13:59.820 because there's so much stuff.
02:14:01.140 and uh you know it's not all just even me being arrested is enough to put people in prison right
02:14:08.680 and uh you know they when they uh with the firearms officer when they took when i went
02:14:15.300 to court i found out through the freedom of information act that the three people that
02:14:19.180 wrote letters to the firearms officer were the lieutenant colonel jim searson and lindsey blair
02:14:24.380 the three people i accused are the same people that wrote to the firearms officer of course the
02:14:29.860 same person that wrote my release in the military and investigated all my all of my grievances is
02:14:34.500 lieutenant colonel meads he investigated all of his grievances against himself and said he was not
02:14:39.620 guilty you know and uh all right so there you think that these people might be watching tonight
02:14:45.840 i hope they are because they should be scared shitless because no i mean like seriously like
02:14:51.620 these people kirk they're paid obviously to to keep you on your toes let's just say or to harass
02:14:58.860 to try and drive you crazy or make things up about you so let's send a message right out to
02:15:04.260 them right now you guys are all so corrupt i don't know how you look in the mirror sleep at night
02:15:09.440 seriously i always thought everyone in the military and the government was honorable you know
02:15:13.780 i you know i i was i was very uh very naive like i grew up people were honorable you know
02:15:21.180 it's changed lately so it's my fault i you know i thought i'd be gone for a week not five years
02:15:27.440 like i never saw i got married last summer so i took my wife i brought my friend's vehicle and
02:15:33.040 drove to the ranch just so my dad could meet my wife because he's not doing so well i'll never
02:15:37.080 see him alive again but um i wanted him to meet my wife you know i know that his grandkids are
02:15:48.240 being looked after you know he he doesn't have a clue you know but uh doing great like i have
02:15:56.060 Everyone that knows me, you know, sure, I'm under a lot of stress and I don't get much work done sometimes, but I try to help everyone I can, you know, but, yeah, I don't know.
02:16:08.940 I try to get asylum in a different country.
02:16:11.140 That's got to say something.
02:16:12.940 No kidding.
02:16:14.080 You know, my grandfather served, my father served, I served.
02:16:18.240 Not a blemish on any of our reports anywhere, yet here I am living like a fugitive.
02:16:22.880 well well you know i had the you got to listen to the recordings of rachel blaney from the ndp
02:16:29.440 she's the veterans whip basically laughs at my story you know emailed her she says right there
02:16:36.080 she's counting 12 times you know crazy uh taylor backrash the mvp mp for the area i have him
02:16:44.960 recorded saying him in heart you can't do anything about it i was like yes you can all you got to do
02:16:49.200 you to say my name mention my name in parliament have an investigation i'm not i don't i don't pick
02:16:55.260 sides it wasn't i don't know anything about politics except it's pretty messed up now in
02:16:59.460 canada and across the world i think but it wasn't my job i just did what i was supposed to do so
02:17:04.440 dude we got to wrap it um let's uh let's talk again let's stay in touch
02:17:11.760 give us updates let us know how you're doing at the very least um and i got to tell you that
02:17:18.700 it's been an honor to speak to you well thanks for you know thanks for taking the time and
02:17:23.580 i know it it takes a lot like i don't think i get emails so it's you know thank you very much for
02:17:29.360 getting me through and not giving up on me no no we had we had a lot of stops and starts but i'm
02:17:34.540 happy that we finally got this on so thank you kirk for for coming on tonight i appreciate you
02:17:40.260 taking the time and telling this story again because i know that you've told the story a lot
02:17:45.300 and you're going to have to keep telling it but what i do say is please get it written down
02:17:51.180 somehow and get somebody to mold it into a screenplay because i think that actually could
02:17:58.340 in the long run save you and your family that's just that's what i don't know i don't know if
02:18:07.260 it's going to save me or kill me that's what i'll never know right so because if i post like i got
02:18:12.640 so much this is you only got a mild percentage of it but uh yeah it's pretty weird but we'll figure
02:18:20.420 it out i'm in a good place yeah all right buddy take it easy have a good weekend all right bye
02:18:27.740 bye uh kirk reese everybody um i don't even know what to say i
02:18:36.540 that story
02:18:41.800 is
02:18:43.800 has got some laughs
02:18:45.680 ironic laughs
02:18:49.600 it's got
02:18:51.780 heart
02:18:52.280 it comes off as crazy
02:18:55.180 but he's clearly not insane
02:18:57.820 he's not a paranoid
02:19:00.060 schizophrenic
02:19:00.840 he's a guy who's been put through hell
02:19:03.620 by people who don't
02:19:06.040 care. They don't care. Or they want him gone in whichever way suits them. So I guess the
02:19:20.020 more that we speak out about things like this, the better off we're all going to be. And
02:19:28.200 maybe the better we'll sleep at night.
02:19:33.140 The reason that I stayed on social media tonight
02:19:35.980 was because I wanted to make sure
02:19:37.720 that we got this story out to as many people
02:19:39.860 as we possibly can.
02:19:41.280 As you guys know,
02:19:42.020 I usually will switch to shadowdavis.com
02:19:46.180 after 9 o'clock Central
02:19:48.760 for the All Access members.
02:19:51.400 But tonight I felt it was very important
02:19:53.720 that we stay with Kirk
02:19:55.580 and keep the story going for as long as it needed.
02:19:59.120 So thank you for staying with me tonight.
02:20:01.840 If you would like to become an all-access member,
02:20:04.500 just go to shadowdavis.com and sign up.
02:20:06.620 It's that simple.
02:20:07.440 We are working on fixing that website,
02:20:11.380 making it better all weekend long.
02:20:13.980 We've been working on it all week,
02:20:16.040 figuring out what the problems are,
02:20:17.760 how best to fix them,
02:20:19.020 and over the weekend,
02:20:20.560 we should be able to do that
02:20:21.900 and get it to where it needs to be next week.
02:20:25.580 Please understand that I am not the CBC.
02:20:29.360 I'm not even Rebel News.
02:20:31.640 I'm just me.
02:20:33.160 And I work with the people that I can't afford.
02:20:36.180 They are good people,
02:20:37.380 sometimes volunteering their time to help me out
02:20:40.320 because they really believe in this show
02:20:42.900 and what I'm doing
02:20:43.840 and what all of us are doing together as a community.
02:20:48.520 If you want to support, that would be awesome.
02:20:52.100 All you need to do is become an all-access member
02:20:54.640 at shadowdavis.com.
02:20:56.440 We are working on fixing any technical glitches
02:20:58.940 that you may have experienced,
02:21:00.460 and we're also working on making the live stream
02:21:03.500 a much better viewing experience
02:21:05.480 with comments and everything.
02:21:08.160 I want you guys to have a fantastic weekend.
02:21:11.060 I'll be back on Monday night.
02:21:12.300 I think Eva Chipiak's coming up on Monday night 1.00
02:21:14.440 to talk about that class action lawsuit 1.00
02:21:17.460 they hope to launch in Alberta
02:21:18.960 about the vaccines.
02:21:21.640 I told you a little bit about this last night.
02:21:23.540 If you don't know about it, you can go check out Eva on X.
02:21:27.500 She did a press release yesterday, but this is a very important story
02:21:31.220 because they're going after the governments of Alberta
02:21:34.120 and the government of Canada for misinformation on the vaccines.
02:21:40.460 Not the vaccines themselves, but misinformation, disinformation even,
02:21:45.180 on the vaccines that the governments push these vaccines on people
02:21:50.260 knowing that they might be dangerous.
02:21:54.540 And they have evidence to back that up.
02:21:56.600 I mean, it's public.
02:21:58.000 We know about it.
02:21:59.760 So this class action, if it is approved by the judiciary in Alberta,
02:22:06.040 will be launching soon.
02:22:07.880 And if you took the vaccine under coercion from the government,
02:22:13.420 meaning threat of job loss or anything else,
02:22:17.700 then you could be joining
02:22:20.480 that class
02:22:21.160 Abba hopefully joins on Monday night
02:22:24.300 with Carrie Sakamoto 0.99
02:22:26.320 who is a vaccine injured
02:22:27.940 person she's been on the show before
02:22:29.960 she may be joining as well
02:22:31.860 and Jeff Rath
02:22:33.280 Jeff Rath
02:22:34.680 from Rath and Company Lawyers
02:22:37.480 he is an awesome character
02:22:39.280 and if you guys haven't met him yet
02:22:41.020 he's been on the show once before
02:22:42.460 and I'd love for him to come back
02:22:43.760 have yourselves an awesome weekend
02:22:46.220 And I will catch you Monday night, 8 o'clock central
02:22:48.640 for another Shadow at Night livestream.
02:22:50.500 I love you all, and I appreciate you all.
02:22:53.060 And we'll see you soon.
02:22:54.160 Bye for now.
