00:14:00.120Thank you so much for having me, Shadow, rest of the panel.
00:14:02.840Really glad that we're able to talk about this.
00:14:04.660There's a lot of mean things that I want to say right now, but let me first just start by saying this is very sad.
00:14:11.240It's very sad what we're seeing because a lot of the people who are going out to support these movements, to support these convoys or whatever it might be, it seems to be changing whoever you talk to, even when they're organized in the same parking lot.
00:15:02.600Why are the clips we just watched similar to watching like a, hate to say it, but like, you know, fight clips from a trailer park or from some some guy's barbecue, you know, or like a, you know, world star hip hop debacle like these clips feel like that.
00:15:18.240Why is that? That is not a good look for any sort of protest movement.
00:15:22.680I know a lot of people are going to be upset for me saying that, but there's a reason I showed up here in a suit with a nice background.
00:15:28.440okay the good thing about this situation is that we can learn from it we can learn a lot from the
00:15:34.080situation what makes a good protest movement what makes a good political movement and what doesn't
00:15:39.580and some people might say oh there is no political answer no no when citizens organize in any
00:15:44.700capacity that is political and right now when you're organizing in a parking lot getting into
00:15:49.880fights jumping onto each other's hoods and even when you see the clip of them explaining what
00:15:54.580they're doing they're like yes we're here to save the children we're also it's also it's true for
00:15:58.080freedom too and everyone's kind of like chirping in with different talking points and it's a total
00:16:02.680mess the real risk and the real danger here is aside from the illegal activity that might be
00:16:08.120associated with with these groups is this is just a perfect smorgasbord for the media guys0.98
00:16:14.100and our political enemies look at all these great clips to work with to make us look like idiots to0.99
00:16:20.240make us look like you know all of us look like inbred hicks no offense but you know that's what0.99
00:16:26.240they try to do to conservatives they try to send this message that we're all these you know backwards
00:16:30.520people and um you know when you take little snippets of here and there that's that's what
00:16:35.560they're going to be able to broadcast on cbc and and continue that that that very destructive
00:16:41.320stereotype so again that's why i'm kind of dressed up in a suit here to kind of show the opposite
00:16:46.640message is looking professional, looking organized, and being very intentional with whatever movement
00:16:53.880or whatever sort of protest that we want to make. Well, you know, we catch more flies with honey
00:16:59.680than we do with vinegar. And the one thing that I think gets lost on many people in our movement
00:17:04.720is that we still need to get that big, huge percentage of people who are in the soft middle,
00:17:10.620the people who may believe in some of the things that we're talking about, but they're scared to
00:17:14.740step up and come forward for fear of losing their job or fear of being maligned by their
00:17:23.120co-workers or even their family and friends. And you're right, Greg, these videos don't help at
00:17:29.420all. Melissa, thank you for joining the show tonight from Bikers Church. Welcome. This is
00:17:34.120a first time appearance for you. You were approached by some of these folks to join
00:17:37.520yourself weren't you uh no i wasn't approached by them and i i showed up in a toque and a t-shirt
00:17:45.580because it says biker's church on it and i wanted to represent greg text me next time and let me know
00:17:50.360the dress code will do will do thank you thank you um and i'm sitting somewhere in the middle
00:17:58.680of you two by the way i gotta just you know a pair of jeans and a shirt on all right all right
00:18:03.440um okay so i i actually i have intentionally not been watching much about it someone sent me
00:18:14.740a tiktok from big bear who i would have said i'm i'm pretty good friends with uh since since convoy
00:18:22.380uh sent me a tiktok of him the video that he put out and i texted him immediately and said what are
00:18:30.100you doing? What is this? It doesn't feel good to me. My, my, I mean, it's discernment, but you know,
00:18:37.700I'd say my spidey senses are tingling and not in a good way. So he, you know, we had a conversation
00:18:45.460text back and forth and I asked him to prayerfully consider what this is, what he is doing and where
00:18:54.120he's getting his marching orders from and he continued on I kept I just kept seeing lives
00:19:02.820from him so I've been trying not to watch their lives because I've already actually made up my
00:19:12.040mind what this is I've spoken with a few people of influence in the movement and they have the
00:19:20.320the ones that I've spoken to have just felt the same way I do with very little information that
00:19:26.520in itself says something to me I am a very big advocate for Pat King for Tamara for Chris
00:19:34.120and my heart is with the Coots boys even though I have not had interaction with them I wish I
00:19:41.160was closer because I did a lot of prison visits here for these guys that were stuck in Ottawa0.88
00:19:47.020but my heart is with those people who I feel are the sacrificial lambs for all of us in Canada
00:19:55.080and I don't think anybody should be putting those guys facing 10 years in prison for mischief
00:20:02.580I don't think anybody actually has the right to jeopardize right in the middle of trial you know
00:20:10.800Kristen Tamara in the middle of trial Pat Kings is coming up and I actually accompany dozens of
00:20:16.880truckers to court that have to come back here from all across the nation. They call me and
00:20:22.760ask me to go to court with them. And I'm very glad to do that. So there's a ton of people that
00:20:27.760nobody even knows their name, but their lives matter too. And, and they're being bled dry of
00:20:33.800their resources. You know, the, the punishment is the process here. So I, that's my, my number
00:20:39.560one reason actually is, is because I'm mindful of Chris, Tamara, Pat, and the Coots boys and all
00:20:45.180the other truckers who have got so much on the line uh jason do we know where because melissa
00:20:50.920you referenced this in your uh just your previous statement just now do we know where these marching
00:20:56.920orders are coming from or is it just a bunch of guys who have gotten together and decided they're
00:21:01.200going to fight they're going to act out what's going on so is that for me that question yes
00:21:06.560yep yeah no i don't know who any of the leaders are but the influencers that i'm aware of are all
00:21:11.760in that video that you showed so ron clark we saw big bear in there we saw norman i don't have his
00:21:17.620last name and we also saw freedom george yeah who's that melissa i believe it's norman is it
00:21:24.620norman blanchfield that sounds familiar yeah yeah so we saw all those figures in there and those are
00:21:30.300really the influencers who are out there saying hey we're following along we're just recording
00:21:34.920this we're podcasting this however they're also the source of a lot of the information
00:21:39.260and if you watch their lives they talk about someone else providing information on where to
00:21:44.860go and and what to do so for example you saw there the norman provided an address
00:21:49.340that's that looks like a farm so you you showed the bottom one but there's also a one above that
00:21:54.260for castleman it looks like they're meeting at a farm now one of the conversations i had with
00:21:59.160james sowery on my show just a couple days ago about this was he identified that there's two
00:22:03.560convoys there's one convoy called east meets west which is supposed to be just a gathering
00:22:08.540they're supposed to get together at a farm and it looks like norman provided that information it may
00:22:12.800just be a farm but there's also the save the children which are not necessarily the same
00:22:18.780group of people so there's possibly two different groups here according to james salary as he
00:22:24.300provided on our show and my understanding is the save the children are a lot angrier
00:22:28.880and they're a lot more willing to hold the line or advance the line now now i want to take a little
00:22:35.260bit of a different approach on the videos that you showed at the beginning here i'm actually
00:22:38.880optimistic about what i saw there what i saw there was all the main influencers together one group
00:22:43.980with very little support didn't look like there was a lot of public support we're not seeing
00:22:49.580videos of people on overpasses this time around even though for a week now they're making their
00:22:53.900way across this is very different this is not the same same grassroots effort that we saw in 2022
00:26:41.000If you were unvaccinated or if you cared about the unvaccinated, you were at this convoy or you were supporting this convoy.
00:26:47.540The urgency was obvious of why people were there.
00:26:51.660When it comes to these other convoys, it's a little unclear what it is.
00:26:55.880They have to save the children, but they also have the Trudeau for treason.
00:27:00.700And sure, there is urgency here and there, but it's not nearly as focused.
00:27:04.840and it's it's as we have seen with some of these clips it's super disorganized it's not nearly
00:27:10.840catching up as much steam uh for for that reason there's a lot of others but that's that's kind of
00:27:16.180want to get us started yeah and for me yeah for me it was the secrecy and then the little trickles
00:27:23.380of information that was coming out i didn't hear a peep about this thing until september 19th at
00:27:28.660the packing event itself so i was at the packing event lots of people there and that's when some
00:27:33.980the information started just trickle out a small piece of information and then the very next day
00:27:38.460i was at the arthur peloski vigil where ron clark was there so i'm actually on a live with ron clark
00:27:44.620on his his live he was doing it at the vigil for arthur peloski and even at that point i still had
00:27:49.900no idea what was going on but i knew that ron was pretty excited and he was sharing me details and
00:27:54.620he's like stay tuned watch what we're doing pay attention and that's all i was getting
00:28:00.780then i started speaking to people like james salary
00:28:03.980And others, all of them, really, everybody but Tamara I've spoken to.
00:28:08.480And none of them really knew anything except for little pieces of information
00:28:12.300about this meeting that happened and not everybody was invited to
00:28:15.660and some people didn't like what was being said.
00:28:18.300It's just too secretive from my standpoint where I don't know what their motivation is,
00:28:22.340why they're doing it, and what's the end game.
00:28:24.700And then I had Jane Scarfo on my show because I wanted to get all angles of it.
00:28:30.000I had Melissa on, I had Bethann Nodwell on, I had some other people,
00:28:33.600but I also invited Jane on because she was in my chat asking to come on to kind of clarify things.
00:28:38.500And when she came on, it became very clear to me that she had a lot of information from Norman
00:28:42.580and she's working with Norman a lot. And then she referred to him as an organizer. So she actually
00:28:47.620referred to Norman as an organizer when they're trying not to use those terms for themselves,
00:28:52.460because of course, mischief and other charges. So when I had Jane on, I was probing her a little
00:28:57.880bit about what's going on here. And she was pretty adamant that they fully expect the RCMP to arrest
00:29:03.440Trudeau. Fully expect it. They think that that's an outcome here. She also expects them to establish
00:29:09.620grand juries again for them on demand. And she believes, rightfully or not, that this is going
00:29:16.860to be a righteous outcome for them. I am incredibly disturbed by all of that, because not only is that
00:29:22.540not even likely, as we know already, we've saw the outcome from this particular government,
00:29:26.920but you're asking for things that I don't even think Canadians would support by force. So what
00:29:32.500is your plan forward if it's not going to be by force because you're going to get no support by
00:29:36.220canada for that you're just going to hope trudeau says let's put a grand jury in and go ahead and
00:29:40.900have me arrested no there's no reasonable outcome at this stage and for me because i don't really
00:29:47.200know what their motives are and what they're trying to accomplish and the ones that i do know
00:29:51.060are not attainable none of this feels good to me at all and it feels nothing like the first one
00:29:56.480and i'm a proponent for for this entire movement working hard to try and understand why they're
00:30:01.580doing this. Now, I want to let Greg and everybody else know, my biggest concern here is in February
00:30:07.06014th, 2022, the RCMP in Alberta stood on, went on TV and laid out this narrative about the coup
00:30:14.660situation. And they said there was a nationwide organization with leaders outside of Alberta
00:30:20.060preparing to do a coup against our government. And they sat there and explained to us on February
00:30:24.92014th, 15 people were arrested. And this is the entire narrative. I got to tell you,
00:30:30.780that's still what they're using here in court to hold the four men other people were released but
00:30:35.740the four men are being held on that so now if that materializes guess what happens they now
00:30:42.420get proven correct the rcmp february 14 2022 these men are not coming out and their trial is going to
00:30:48.720look a lot worse in may 2024 when it starts because the government will tell us immediately
00:30:54.540told you so that's my concern so is there a way and and maggie i guess you would be the one to
00:31:03.380talk to about this is there a way to talk sense into these folks because i understand their plan
00:31:09.180is to go into ottawa every single day stand there um i think ron mentioned in one of his videos and
00:31:16.920i i might be misspeaking here but i i watched it a couple of hours ago and they are going to be
00:31:22.220going after the school curriculums which is a provincial matter by the way actually it's a
00:31:27.140school board matter not a federal matter and they're also going to be supporting missing
00:31:33.840and murdered indigenous women i don't know how that comes into it but their plan is to go they're
00:31:41.600not going to block any streets they're not going to bring vehicles in they're just going to go and
00:31:44.840stand there i guess and hold white flags i think from the information i've gathered but is there a
00:31:51.620way Maggie you've tried this already and I think with some success to get these folks to stand down
00:31:57.600and go work locally well I don't think I I don't think at this point we need to talk sense
00:32:07.080because these are our brothers and our sisters and I think that they have a good spirit in their
00:32:17.340heart um toronto whatever was supposed to happen there it didn't happen and that was where things
00:32:26.220might have gone wrong and and now they're having a camp out and they're going into ottawa they're
00:32:34.860all seem to have the same non-violent uh demeanor and the way that they're speaking that is
00:32:47.280what they want is is to have non-violent they're asking people to come out and dialogue you know
00:32:54.700when can our movement get together and we're not organized we're not having conferences you know
00:33:03.040this is like maybe our one chance to actually all get on the same page and yes we need the media
00:33:08.840support we need as a as a group to come together and decide what would the best optics be for a
00:33:16.320situation like this what potential can come out of this um i don't believe that these men have
00:33:22.240bad intentions at all and i think that everyone can be reasoned with aside from from those that
00:33:30.420are showing up and crashing these events and creating these bad optics and you know eight
00:33:36.360months ago someone came up with a plan they probably had bad intentions and they wanted to
00:33:41.620get a lot of people in trouble. And as this convoy moved across the country, everyone shifted gears
00:33:47.880and decided, no, this is not who we are. This is not how we're going to do this. Let's get together
00:33:54.200and bring our love back to Ottawa, which is what the government or, you know, this beast that we're
00:34:07.440up against absolutely hates they want us to be disorganized they want us divided and we need
00:34:13.960as people of influence to take a minute and take a deep breath and remember
00:34:20.700remember who we are and who our brothers and sisters are and and just not
00:34:29.280not make it worse than it has to be and that's what i think that's all i want to say about that
00:34:37.220You know, interesting that you should say it like that because I said talk sense, right? So using those words that I just used, I can imagine that some of those folks may take offense to those words. So I apologize for using those words.
00:34:50.600but i have been attacked by some of the people supporting this movement um smeared actually
00:34:59.460defamed uh in the past week or so and i can't figure out exactly why i came out a week ago and
00:35:07.720said i disagree with what they're doing out there and so when you say well we've got to get together
00:35:13.420and we've got to you know talk and reason things out and try and come up with a unified plan i
00:35:17.840totally agree with you but i wonder if there's even a possibility of that going forward melissa
00:35:24.540what do you think can we all get together every different strata of the freedom movement and
00:35:29.700agree on one thing we all need to do and then go do it honestly no i don't i don't because i actually
00:35:37.940don't believe that follow your heart is good advice the bible tells me that my heart is
00:35:43.640deceitfully wicked above all things and so I have to as a follower of Christ I have to align myself
00:35:50.920with the word of God and it keeps me in line because without Christ I am hideous so I think
00:35:57.880what people are suffering from now is like the post-summer camp blues we've got a lot of guys
00:36:04.360and girls who I mean look I'm angry I am fired up I am incendiary most of the time for a pastor
00:36:14.100a pastor's wife people often can't believe the things that I say and the places that I'm willing
00:36:19.600to go for people to tend hearts because that's been my job in my call in this thing has been to
00:36:26.800tend hearts and so when when convoy ended there was an awful lot of tending to hearts that were
00:36:34.540broken that were sad that felt hopeless that felt like we lost and so I kind of thought like it was
00:36:42.220the post-summer camp blues like you're sad after you've left summer camp and you know you've been
00:36:47.680having sleepovers with your friends every night and all these fantastic experiences making memories
00:36:53.440and then you go home to an empty house and you don't have your friends with you.
00:36:58.000And so I think the most important thing was what did you do with that after convoy?
00:37:03.860And so there's a handful of people who, you know, they're struggling financially.
00:37:11.480They're struggling with, you know, their like hopelessness, being desperate.
00:37:17.840Maybe they don't have good family lives.
00:47:34.900A couple of days later, Trudeau's on the ropes.0.95
00:47:37.260He has screwed up our relations with the largest democracy on the planet,
00:47:41.560with an emerging economy that could really help us out going forward.
00:47:45.600and you know what does this convoy or these convoys do for Trudeau if he can find a way to
00:47:53.740get the media to paint them as villains like Greg is talking about that gives Trudeau an out doesn't
00:47:59.500it it gives him a new villain to fight well it makes us exactly who they said we were in in 2022
00:48:08.940who they tried to paint us to be alt-right extremist neo-nazi you know bigots misogynists
00:48:16.540anti-vaxxers blah blah blah blah blah and so i i just think this is this is like the perfect
00:48:22.920storms the perfect setup and people are so hungry for some change and that they're willing to go to
00:48:31.280great lengths and i'll tell you i i have had some very dark messages from people seen some very dark
00:48:38.860things from like from the hearts that I've been tending. They're, they're willing to leave their
00:48:44.660wives and their children and, and do unspeakable things because they're so angry. So what I've
00:48:51.000been trying to point people to is what if mandates never drop? How, how can we live? How, how do we
00:48:58.620live? And I'll tell you my joy, it doesn't come from, I've said this many times, my joy doesn't
00:49:04.140come from this world. So this world can't take it from me. So I, you know, whether I'm, I'm in a
00:49:10.200camp, or I'm never going to travel again, because I'm not vaccinated, I have to be able to live a
00:49:16.660life that is not consumed by anger and bitterness and wanting revenge, because that actually hurts
00:49:23.200me more. And, and I want change as much as the next guy. And so it's just how are we going to
00:49:30.360go about that so i'm i'm optimistic because i believe in jesus and i think that that's the only
00:49:37.460way no i can add to that melissa um and i'm going to add a little bit of optimism especially on the
00:49:44.200legal front so here in alberta we're just weeks away from chris carbert having his bail hearing
00:49:49.580this has been in the works for almost 600 days let me ask you before you continue on uh has
00:49:56.400anything happened with that sealed envelope yet that's what about to get to because we have we have
00:50:02.000a bunch of things that we're waiting on like we're patiently waiting on here in alberta and the sealed
00:50:07.040envelope is one of them uh and that could be open at any time between now and november 1st we could
00:50:13.540get a an emergency court hearing where they do it by video we get 24 hours notice we got one of these
00:50:19.800a few weeks ago when the decision to open the envelope was announced it was a 24-hour notice
00:50:24.520we did a video conference we got to hear the decision to open the envelope now the next step
00:50:29.560is to open the envelope for those who don't know what i'm talking about uh the coup situation
00:50:34.600uh in june the this there was a disclosure made by the crown accidental unintentional
00:50:40.840disclosure made by the crown to the defense there's a piece of paper that's got put into
00:50:45.320an envelope because it's very damning and they went through an entire argument for four days
00:50:50.760no three days of whether or not to open this particular envelope to show the judge what the
00:50:55.180crown did the crown has been accused of crime fraud which is a technical legal term which means
00:51:01.480somebody with a license an l1 so a lawyer gave legal advice has to be legal advice for the
00:51:08.140commission of a crime so those three elements have to come together has to be a lawyer has to be legal
00:51:13.060advice has to be a commission of a crime that's called crime fraud this is what they're accused
00:51:18.600of here in Alberta, the Crown in Alberta. Steve Johnson is accused of doing that. And there's a
00:51:23.620potential that he may become a witness to these events and possibly a defendant to these events.
00:51:28.920So look, what I'm asking for, if you can let me speak to Norman and Big Bear and George and Ron
00:51:36.060and the rest of the team. Listen, folks, we are so close to getting some truth about what actually
00:51:42.540happened when it came to the building of the narrative and the actions of the police officers
00:51:46.340here in alberta that plus chris carbert's bail hearing coming up which he feels very confident
00:51:52.180about because of things like greg uh hate gate is actually being used it's been helpful uh the
00:51:57.480information that came out of hate gate is helpful for sure uh this gave us the names and emails and
00:52:02.280information about how even the intelligence agencies were not supporting this narrative
00:52:06.900of diagonal being this big group that has been associated loosely via a patch on one of the vests
00:52:13.200uh to the men here in alberta so what i want to say to everybody who's who's angry at this stage
00:52:19.120i get it i totally get it i i've i've sat in in in the jail i've gone to the remand to see both
00:52:25.580chris lysic and chris carbert on multiple occasions i sat with their family i see the
00:52:29.520pain i hear the stories these people by far should be the most angry these gentlemen in remand they're
00:52:36.560not they're patient they're waiting and what they want to do when they get out is they want to help
00:52:41.220correct the system because they saw the injustice from the inside now so all four men have have
00:52:46.720professed when they get out their intent is to repair the system that put them in this place to
00:52:51.720begin with they're not a tear it down type of mentality these gentlemen so the last thing we
00:52:56.720need is for that to be complicated by some events somewhere else in canada where i tell you right
00:53:03.780now that steve johnson is waiting for some violence to be recorded so he can point to that and say
00:53:09.620look this is why we've been holding these men for almost 600 days now because they're part of this
00:53:14.320group and look three or four of them are from alberta so they must all know each other right
00:53:18.240this is exactly what's going to be causing the problem so i'm saying to all these people that
00:53:22.100are doing this please i know you're angry melissa was denied health care service because she wouldn't
00:53:27.560put on a visor her herself she's very angry she had to deal with health care issues we're all
00:53:32.620dealing with issues this is not the time and this is not the the solution i i don't mind fighting
00:53:39.480for the children i don't mind doing these marches in fact there's another one october 21st it looks
00:53:43.680like they're doing a second march for the children october 21st let's do that okay let's do that
00:53:49.340let's not go and try and arrest trudeau let's not call for him and let's not have jane scarf out
00:53:55.520there telling you guys how the law works because she's not right on this one folks i've had her on1.00
00:54:00.240my show a few times she's the only guest i dropped from the show because she just wouldn't listen and1.00
00:54:05.380she was demanding things from the show that just wasn't reasonable she's the only person i've ever0.99
00:54:09.720done that to what i'm saying here is look listen tread lightly look who's in your corner she's the
00:54:15.680one giving legal advice to some of these people it's not good legal advice she cannot snap her0.98
00:54:20.920fingers and create a grand jury and then she cannot use that grand jury to indict trudeau
00:54:25.400and the rcmp are not going to pick him up based on a grand jury's indictment that doesn't exist
00:54:30.100we need to stop this madness and get back to the trials for chris and tamara they're winning
00:54:35.500they're winning there's nothing going on in that trial that tells me the courts have anything that
00:54:41.500the crown has anything on them pat king is desperately waiting for his to start he just
00:54:47.180raised some money to deal with this let him have his trial let's finish up with even james bauer
00:54:52.580okay he's angry he's got things to say let him have his trial what i'd like to see are the men
00:54:57.700out by christmas legally because they can do that that's what the path is happening right now and
00:55:04.260this is what we've all been working on since february 2022 when they were charged was to show
00:55:09.380we have to prove them innocent this is what has to happen here in alberta and it's working
00:55:14.740not if these guys go forward and not if there's any violence that comes from this
00:55:19.360if violence happens this is all going to be plastered right back to our four men
00:55:23.540tomorrow chris pat james even james um um salary even he will have a lot harsher sentencing uh in
00:55:32.440november if something happens here i'm trying to protect all of them it doesn't seem like this
00:55:37.320particular group understands that yet you know we are making progress i mean i was involved in
00:55:43.100the local million person march for kids uh last month and it was amazing i think 3 000 people
00:55:49.880came out. And I know that in cities and towns across the country, we had fantastic turnouts.
00:55:54.980People are working together now. And the inroads that were made between communities, I mean,
00:55:59.840how often do you see Muslims standing next to Sikhs, standing next to Chinese, standing next to
00:56:04.640Christians, standing next to everybody from every community? That's what the picture,
00:56:09.840I took a picture from the front steps of our legislature here in Manitoba. And there was
00:56:14.560somebody from every cultural group or religious group you could think of. And they were all
00:56:19.300standing next to each other you know for the kids rights and getting rid of this soji one two three
00:56:26.840curriculum from our schools that is a positive step forward and there's more to come so final0.99
00:56:33.840thoughts you guys what what do we have to say to the folks here who are maggie you look like you
00:56:37.880got your pen up there yeah no i love the direction that that this is taking and you know talking
00:56:45.440about the positive things that are happening and that's kind of conversation that the country needs
00:56:51.120to hear that we are making progress and you know if i if i could have gotten the message of what
00:56:58.080we're doing here at the municipal level out to the rest of the country a month ago or in july
00:57:04.560when it started here more people would have had hope they would have seen that there's a plan
00:57:11.160that there's something that they can do at their local level in their town that, you know, instead
00:57:15.980of instead of driving across the country, they could organize 20 people in their town and stop
00:57:22.600the UN from from continuing to encroach and push its global agenda here. And, you know, when we
00:57:31.260think about the country, it's so big, right? And we got the east, we got the west. And on the east
00:57:37.540coast they're they're they're being driven into poverty and on the west coast we have an a
00:57:45.360political prisoner situation taking place so they're looking to us in Ontario to do something
00:57:52.360right and that's why eventually they they we end up converging on Ontario and um I wanted to add to
00:58:00.800the uh going back to the million man march um one of the beautiful things i saw come out of that is
00:58:09.140over in new brunswick in saxville the the group there they they went into it and there was that
00:58:18.220negative energy and they just went in there with their hearts filled with love and they started
00:58:23.840having dialogue with the people on the other side and by the end of it they all agreed that they
00:58:29.660didn't have a problem with each other or what each other you know what their differences were
00:58:35.060what the real problems were were the were the issues that were affecting them at a local level
00:58:40.700and they agreed to come together and work together to address those issues so it's all about dialogue
00:58:47.380and and it comes down to that at every level is the dialogue and if people don't want to have
00:58:53.900dialogue then don't dialogue with them dialogue with the people that do want to want to talk about
00:59:00.920what the plan is what the strategy is because people need hope and they can't have hope if
00:59:06.320there's no plan and the convoy was a beautiful thing because we saw that a road captain from
00:59:13.360every every province or region stepped up and there was some form of leadership and we don't
00:59:21.180have to wait to get elected to start leading in our communities and in our country. We can step
00:59:26.600up now as we already are. All of us are already taking on leadership roles and we should be
00:59:33.400having organized conferences and actually coming up with a plan. And this is the only way we can
00:59:43.880actually address the bigger problem. We're up against a very organized government and a very
00:59:49.420organized system. And I'm going to keep saying it, that we need to get organized. And I'm sorry
00:59:55.980that you're going through that situation with slander shadow. And I just feel the last couple
01:00:02.120days, we just went through massive psychological warfare on our entire movement. And that's the
01:00:10.200only reason why I say we just need to take a deep breath and assess what just happened and really
01:00:16.140try and find who the agitators truly are, because I don't think that, that I can look at any of those
01:00:23.120men on that front line, uh, at the end of that, when they yelled freedom and, and, and believe
01:00:28.900that, um, they, that, that they don't, that they're not trying their best. And, um, I, I just
01:00:36.940would love to see more good things come out. And, uh, and that's all I wanted to say. Thank you
01:00:45.460for having me on the show thank you maggie as well tonight melissa what do you think final thoughts
01:00:51.980yeah i've got the word hope tattooed on my forearm it was my grandmother's name it's in
01:00:58.260her handwriting and it's the theme of my life and it's what i'm offering always you know my
01:01:04.860husband and i we pastor biker's church which was pretty much nothing before convoy we were a small
01:01:11.580little congregation in a very, very hard part of town in Ottawa. And we've grown to 500 people
01:01:18.640from 80 before COVID. So there, you know, you can judge anything by its fruit. And so
01:01:24.340hope, like, what are we putting our hope in? Where is it coming from? What are we feeding on every
01:01:30.800day? If we're feeding on nothing but a Twitter feed and Facebook lives that are stirring up
01:01:37.600anger and and hopelessness this is what we end up with you know so much anger and animosity
01:01:45.880and then we start turning on one another and so that's the part i hate the most about what has
01:01:52.140what has happened since convoy is people have really lost hope and so i i want to be a part
01:01:59.500of restoring that and i i hope that i can remain friends with with those guys that i am friends
01:02:06.180with, because I'm not against people. It's not the people that I'm against. It's the agenda
01:02:12.740behind all of this. And I think that this is a war between good and evil. And it's a spiritual
01:02:19.700battle, much more than a physical one. And so we need different weapons. You know, and of course,
01:02:26.560I'm not talking about guns, knives, bombs, that kind of stuff. I'm talking about spiritual warfare
01:02:31.860that needs to happen to tear down strongholds and principalities which are very real and so
01:02:38.900I want to be one that's offering hope to people always that that would be my character throughout
01:02:44.360all of this. Jason. Yeah thank you very much. Control off beds I don't know false flag it feels
01:02:54.420like it but what I do want to highlight is no matter what the government will use this in some
01:02:59.240way shape or form to crack down even further one of the things that i have noticed on this
01:03:03.620particular one is we have four or five podcasters who are openly calling themselves podcasters
01:03:09.080journalists and they're riding along ron clark being one of them we also now have jt talked
01:03:14.100about shutting down podcasts and coming after podcasts so the last thing we all need as
01:03:18.340podcasters greg myself shadow is people identifying themselves as podcasters getting involved in
01:03:25.800violent situations and scary situations in front of Canada in front of a camera because that's
01:03:30.560what's going to be seen in the house of commons saying this is why we need to shut down podcasts0.99
01:03:34.340so there'll be three plus people on the screen next time even if one video where an idiot is0.96
01:03:40.200hitting a cop or some cop runs after somebody and gets hurt or something along those lines all it's0.91
01:03:45.900going to take is one black eye and you will have a lot less podcasting I don't know about control
01:03:51.380op Greg Greg knows a little bit more about that I don't know about feds I get called it all the
01:03:55.000time. But what I do believe is we don't need feds. We'll mess this up ourself. But what I see here
01:04:00.480is something about to transpire, which is going to end my livelihood, which is my ability to speak
01:04:05.940and tell the truth. If a single one of these podcasters who are on this mission right now
01:04:10.620film something that the government uses over and over again to shut us down. That's one of my
01:04:15.240concerns. In addition to the freedom of the men, I really think that's being jeopardized here,
01:04:19.660whether they intended or not, that is being jeopardized. So I want to say to the men,
01:04:23.880especially ron and freedom george and everybody from alberta they're looking for a reason to keep
01:04:30.200these guys in and they're looking for a reason to put more in there don't give it to them please
01:04:34.940greg jason said it so well there i mean isn't it interesting that this convoy you have
01:04:44.560save the children you even have the smearing the million march for children angle because
01:04:53.760people are getting this mixed up all the time already this it really feels like they're going
01:04:57.600for the grand slam in terms of smearing everybody in the freedom movement or associated with convoys
01:05:03.240or anyone who is opposing um opposing these establishment sort of norms that are being
01:05:09.100shoved down our throats right now and you know a lot of people have said hey we have to be and i
01:05:14.840do agree to an extent we have to be unified we have to get along with one another we have to be
01:05:19.220nice to one another however think of it like a sport okay however you know however think of it
01:05:25.700like a sport think of it like you know we're on the same team if somebody is in the wrong position
01:05:30.560if someone is dicking around not playing their position or or maybe their wrist shot isn't very
01:05:35.420good we need to help them improve we need to help them improve and we need to find whatever tactic
01:05:40.360we can to do that i really liked jason's approach earlier the time he spoke before he basically said0.59
01:05:45.700if I could talk to these guys, I would explain to them the coot situation. You know, like you0.92
01:05:50.720guys are not helping the coot situation. You're jeopardizing the coot situation. We know these1.00
01:05:55.460guys are innocent. And when you're doing this, it only complicates it and could really make it
01:06:01.980turn into a south direction. And if they're still listening, they might say, well, we're doing our
01:06:06.740own thing. That's completely separate. It doesn't matter, guys, because the jury is emotional.
01:06:11.000the jury who makes the decision is emotional so you can say talk all you want talk till you're0.97
01:06:16.700blue in the face about how we're different than the cooch guys this is separate they're not going0.97
01:06:20.100to do that no okay no you have a bad wrist shot okay you have a bad plan this is not going to
01:06:26.820help you know i'm not trying to be mean but we are on the same team here and i'm telling you to0.99
01:06:31.420play your position or in this case do not do anything stupid and do not do anything violent
01:06:36.360because that will compromise our team and it will guarantee us a loss here okay so although i want0.66
01:06:41.880everyone to get along and everything i'm sorry part of it part of it is kind of being a little
01:06:46.000bit mean a little bit snappy at each other stop doing that you know i forget her name but it's
01:06:50.340like no we can't just arrest trudeau that's not how it works stop stop doing that okay um like why
01:06:56.540why are you the captain over here what's going on but um i guess the other things i wanted to add to
01:07:01.020that is uh um yeah like don't listen to these commenters out there because it honestly so much
01:07:09.140of this weird sketchy convoy it feels like a dick waving contest this kind of macho chest
01:07:14.300oh you don't care about the children you don't care about this you don't you want to save the0.99
01:07:18.080country no guys shut up your plan sucks i'm sorry sorry to be the bearer of bad news i care about0.99
01:07:24.540all these issues too but guess what there is a protest called the million march for children0.99
01:07:29.580which has been fantastic it looks really good it has been exposing the media and the politicians
01:07:35.300and making them all look very bad and i'm i'm a i try to humble myself whenever i can okay i was at
01:07:41.520a protest at the million march for children and let me tell you i i didn't look very good that
01:07:46.720morning okay i didn't have the best outfit my hair wasn't done and someone called me out and said hey0.97
01:07:51.600man you kind of look like crap and you know what i didn't say oh screw you i'm here for freedom i0.98
01:07:56.020said you know what you're right i do look like crap this is a bad look and i could be improving0.99
01:08:01.120my approach to the situation to help the team to help the movement so my message trying not to be0.75
01:08:07.960mean is like you know humble yourselves guys we're in this together it's not just all about you we
01:08:12.060all want the same thing and some tactics are better than others and i i i i hesitate to say
01:08:20.320this but it's also like if you still want to push forward shame on you the coots four have been in
01:08:26.000jail for almost 600 days you're not helping with this you're not helping with this you're you're
01:08:32.080you're disrespecting the the massive sacrifices they have made and and for what if you look at
01:08:38.400this if you look at the potential solutions that you guys are presenting there are not any and
01:08:43.300again if you want to get involved and support something that is is actually is actually um
01:08:48.260doing damage to the establishment and actually pushing force against the SOGI education.
01:08:53.440Look for the Million March for Children, join that, and let's be organized, let's be more
01:08:59.320professional, and let's be approachable to the common Canadian who absolutely agrees with us.
01:09:04.560Thank you so much for having me, Shadow, and everybody else. It's great to see all of you.
01:09:08.460This has been a great panel. I have to ask one more, one second, Shadow. James Sowery just text
01:09:14.480me james sorry just text me and he has a question for this panel and i think it's relevant and i
01:09:19.540think it's probably appropriate um so he was going to come on this show he made some phone calls to
01:09:25.160get all the correct information he wanted to come on and clear the air and tell the truth about
01:09:28.980everything that's going on for some reason he decided not to but he did text me this because
01:09:33.800he is watching uh so he was very clear he's watching right now uh the question he has is
01:09:38.980um i see everyone condemning what others are trying to do speaking of us sitting there
01:09:45.700actually doing nothing so my question is if this convoy or whatever it is isn't going to work
01:09:51.820what will please ask the panel so he wants to get from us because we're not supportive
01:09:57.840from his opinion but james i just want to highlight something i'm very supportive of protesting
01:10:02.060in a certain way no violence no problem i'm cool with that um and i also don't like how
01:10:07.760Either you're on their side or you're against them, kind of like George Bush speaking to the
01:10:11.500world. Either you're with us or against us. I think neutral is a valid position here.
01:10:16.880So if you don't mind, Shadow, I'll quickly answer this one for James from my perspective,
01:10:20.520then we'll throw it to everybody else. What should we do, James? Continue on the path we're on.
01:10:25.280There's a lot of us working very hard publicly and privately to do this the legal way. There's
01:10:30.040some of us running for office and there's some of us changing town halls and there's others going to
01:10:34.060the hospitals and making a stand then you got greg on his podcast and shadows on podcast sharing
01:10:39.420truth all the time so what i would say to you there james my friend let us finish our job first
01:10:45.020we have time here it's not time to rip apart this marriage of canada we have some time here i do
01:10:51.400think it's working james and i'm sorry that you were convicted but we're going to work on raising
01:10:55.440the funds for your appeal so james have some faith that was what i would respond to james on that one
01:11:00.700Yeah, James, what I would say is we continue moving forward and bringing those people. I mean, you know, this is something I've been saying for a few years now, since the very beginning of all this nonsense, where there was a very staunch crowd of people who were waiting in line to get their shots and wearing masks outside on beautiful, sunny summer days.
01:11:22.780And then there was a bunch of us who were opposed to that because we thought it was ridiculous.
01:11:27.640And in the middle at that time, I would say there was 80 percent of people who were going, yeah, I don't know about this.
01:11:33.880This seems kind of weird, but I'm just going to go along with it and see what happens.
01:11:37.860Well, I believe that middle is still there. It's smaller now.
01:11:41.260Many people have chosen size, but there are still many people who just want to be left alone and try to get through this.
01:11:47.140It's not going to happen like that. So what we need to do is continue talking to those people.
01:11:52.320We can't continue to talk to our echo chambers, our echo chamber.
01:13:56.240So I think some things that we could do better moving forward is being more, the human mind likes to focus on the negative.
01:14:06.660And we need to do a better job getting the positive stories out to the people and sharing what is working.
01:14:14.080across the country so that we can implement that across the country for instance in new
01:14:18.800brunswick they they pulled 30 000 kids out of school for three days and the premier stood up
01:14:25.520and changed the curriculum so why don't we do that across the country um things like that sharing
01:14:35.120what we're doing at the local level here in peterborough you know we're beta testing strategies
01:14:41.200And if we can affect change in Peterborough, this is this is a place where the marketing textbooks, they know that that if something's going to work, it'll work in Peterborough.
01:14:55.320If something won't work, it won't work in Peterborough.
01:14:57.520So we need to get these these these ideas out across the country.
01:15:03.220The other thing that we need to do is have a judicial convention.
01:15:07.380There's too much confusion with our judicial system and everyone who has a different theory, not everyone, but like we need to get everyone in a room and figure out what is going on so we can have justice in this country again and get get some wins.
01:15:25.000And, you know, aside from a blood covenant to stop us from being divisive and instead of publicly outing people, and, you know, we need to discuss our disagreements with people privately as much as possible and pull together like a family and on a mission.
01:15:50.880and yeah get an entire council elected not just one councillor or a mayor but an entire council
01:15:58.740in your town like really work at that grassroots level and you'll see way more results and take
01:16:05.960back our country one region at a time agreed melissa i think it's a pretty big statement to
01:16:15.080make that, you know, this whole panel of people are doing nothing because I've got my hand in a
01:16:21.320lot of fires at the moment. And, you know, on a weekly basis at our church, we're watching
01:16:26.160marriages be restored. We're watching addictions be broken. We're feeding and clothing hundreds of
01:16:32.560people. And that's not even like freedom convoy stuff, you know, with all the truckers that I
01:16:39.440accompany to court and, and hearts that are being, you know, tended to, I keep saying that I know,
01:16:44.920but that's kind of my biggest call in this. And so I talked to a few people off the ledge this
01:16:51.520week. There may be somebody that did not commit suicide this week because they reached out. And
01:16:57.720so to say that we are doing nothing is quite ignorant, actually. And James, I laid hands on0.92
01:17:04.420you and prayed for you just two weeks ago. And I know that you felt that and it was real. And it
01:17:10.440does matter. And so don't mistake what we are doing here as condemnation. It's not condemning
01:17:20.880because we don't agree with the way that you are going about something. I am passionate about your
01:17:27.820freedom as much as my own children's, as much as my neighbor and the people that attend our church.
01:17:33.940I am passionate about it. And so I just want to remind you that I love you.
01:17:42.120Melissa, that was so well said. Thank you. That was, you know, that's something I've been trying
01:17:48.100to say for the past while now, just because we don't agree. It does not mean I, I condemn you.
01:17:55.980Right. So thank you for saying that. Greg, final thoughts.
01:17:59.080the reason the convoy in 2022 worked was because there was so many people there was so many people
01:18:08.880who came out you saw it on the overpasses you saw it in ottawa it was unignorable and we had
01:18:15.160so many people moving in the same direction can you imagine in an alternate reality if it was
01:18:20.840just a tiny group if it was just a tiny group it would have been crushed it would have been crushed
01:18:25.520like a bug, you know, and we can't like this sort of attitude of like, we need to change it now.
01:18:35.180I want to change it now. I can, of course, relate to that. I want to change it now. I want Truda to
01:18:39.780be out now. But unfortunately, we have to wake up to see what situation we're in. And we're in a
01:18:46.360situation where there are so many Canadians who are waking up for the very first time,
01:18:52.120for the very first time and realizing, wow, these institutions are rotten. These institutions are
01:18:58.780completely rotten to the core. And wow, nobody's washed that in years. Does anybody even have like
01:19:04.560Windex? Like this is crazy if you look around here. And so to our question here, the asker,
01:19:12.460Rome wasn't built in a day. Rome was not built in a day. And as Shadow and others were mentioning
01:19:17.960here on this panel, there are people starting organizations slowly. There are people starting
01:19:23.500communities slowly, but surely building it up slowly, but surely. And it's going to be a long,
01:19:27.760hard road. And it's, it's not going to be easy. It's not going to be fun. And some of it is going
01:19:32.240to be a white color work. Some of it is going to be the you know, doing the paperwork, doing the
01:19:40.800dressing up nicely, presenting yourself at a town hall meeting, or perhaps a local school board.
01:19:46.880This is part of the path forward. And I think what the, this kind of fizzling convoy represents
01:19:54.000is, is not that like, like the, the, the end of protests, but I've kind of seen this,
01:20:00.380especially in Toronto to give you an example. There's always been like a freedom rally once
01:20:04.200a week in Queens park on Saturday. And somebody told me this sad story where they went by the
01:20:09.180Queens park thing for the protest. And it was, it was a group of people kind of crazy people,0.58
01:20:14.500some of them and calling each other feds. Hey, you're a fed, you're a fed, you're a fed. It's0.75
01:20:17.460like, is this supposed to be a protest guys? You know, like, like what kind of effect is this
01:20:21.100having? And that's not to say that protests and demonstrations can't be effective, not at all.
01:20:24.940But the lesson is there has to be more, there has to be something that's, that's more substantial,
01:20:30.920that is going to get more attention that is going to push forth our ideas. And like I said, it's,
01:20:36.320it is like a team sport. People are going to be playing different positions,
01:20:39.880doing different things and playing their different roles. And part of that is going to be working
01:20:46.120smarter, not harder. You know, if, if, if, if digging a hole, if getting rid of Trudeau is
01:20:53.520digging a hole, maybe not the best analogy, and you're just using a trowel, you know, it's like
01:20:59.040if these, if these like weekly protests are just a trowel, it's like, you know what, we need to
01:21:02.320actually get a shovel, which means start a nonprofit organization that pushes forth some
01:21:07.060idea that's adjacent to our politics. And a good example of that would be Million March for
01:21:10.580Children. They're focusing on one political topic of the gender indoctrinations in school,
01:21:15.020and they are being effective. So I think freedom fighters are in the season of not only being
01:21:20.780vindicated since the convoy, but also building and looking forth towards the future. We shouldn't
01:21:26.380just be thinking, hey, next week, we're going to get Trudeau out. No, it needs to be next couple
01:21:30.140years. How can we slowly bring more people into the movement, into our way of thinking? Because
01:21:35.680it's already happening naturally with all with with the things that are happening in this country
01:21:39.580so how can we start building building our organizations and our parallel institutions
01:21:45.140because if we don't it's going to get astroturfed by establishment people um so that's a whole other
01:21:52.140discussion but you guys heard of the uh the same time next week the people's motion for non-confidence
