00:00:00.000good evening and welcome everybody shadow at night for monday february the 21st yeah 21st
00:00:05.9602022 and happy louis real day for those of us uh who live in manitoba happy family day for
00:00:12.520everybody else in canada and i think there's a couple of provinces and maybe one territory that
00:00:16.500don't recognize today as all at all as a holiday of any kind at all so uh happy monday to all of
00:00:23.140you uh some pretty awful news just about 20 minutes old now from the house of commons where
00:00:29.020they voted 185 to 153 in favor of passing the emergency measures act uh candace bergen the
00:00:35.900interim leader of the conservative party of canada immediately stood up in the house and
00:00:42.300introduced an act to get rid of it or introduced a motion sorry to get rid of it and uh the other
00:00:50.860side got up and said we it may still be going on right now i i don't know but it was
00:00:57.020a futile attempt to do a revote so this passes 185 to 153 the liberals all voted in favor the
00:01:08.220ndp all voted in favor and the bloc voted against as well as all of the members of the conservative
00:01:13.080party of canada voted against so every single mp voted along party lines the next uh hurdle this
00:01:21.460thing has to pass is getting through the Senate and seeing as how of the 97 sitting senators
00:01:26.960currently, Trudeau has appointed 57 of them. We think it will pass the Senate within two,
00:01:33.760maybe three hours. No, sorry, that's wrong. That's being facetious. A couple of days of debate and
00:01:39.720then they'll have a vote and it'll pass. And then the only thing left would be for the governor
00:01:44.340general to give it royal assent and boom, it stays in effect for the next three weeks. Keep in mind
00:01:50.480that trudeau invoked this thing last monday i think it was and so it stays in effect for 30 days
00:01:58.640prior to the initial invocation of the act so another three three and a half weeks0.68
00:02:05.200and in that time this clown here can do a lot of damage listen to his speech from earlier this0.93
00:02:12.720morning. I can't imagine that anyone who votes no tonight is doing anything other0.95
00:02:26.120than indicating that they don't trust the government to make incredibly
00:02:34.080momentous and important decisions at a very difficult time. We don't. But like
00:02:40.720Like I said, I am confident that the majority of parliamentarians will stand up to support our values, to stand up to support our democracy, and to stand up to support their fellow Canadians.0.92
00:02:55.920Yeah, so that clown is going to be in complete control of this country for the next three and a half weeks.
00:03:04.900i was watching some of the liberal mps come out of the house on cpac that's what this is right now0.60
00:03:12.800i was going to try and play some of that for you but it was live video and they've since uh removed
00:03:16.980it marco mendocino and bill blair two of the cabinet ministers in justin trudeau's government
00:03:23.500came out and they were both wearing masks as they came out and when they went to speak they left
00:03:30.540their masks on and then took them off and then put them back on and took them off put them back
00:03:34.640took them off and i sat here watching this going this whole thing was about your measures now i1.00
00:03:45.500realize that mask mandates are provincial measures but this whole thing was about your stupid federal0.98
00:03:51.180mandates and you're not even following the provincial ones off on off on and not just to0.98
00:03:58.840talk at the microphone to the reporters but just in general off on off on the whole thing
00:04:06.120is sickening it's not about a virus what is it about i think it's about control
00:04:17.880and of course you guys know what i think that was sarcastic we had police violence happening
00:04:25.800in Ottawa this past weekend it started on Friday it went through Saturday and yesterday and here
00:18:57.380And of course, the cops wouldn't know that at the time.
00:18:59.940But he was standing close to the line again, not provoking anything.
00:19:03.940Maybe he was saying, look, come on, man, come on.
00:19:06.100Like we're here peacefully because I heard a lot of that in the independent media videos.
00:19:10.520The cops somehow dragged him in, throw him on the ground, knee him in the in the back a couple of times.
00:19:15.720and then you see a gun butt come up and just come down hard on him and you see the reaction from
00:19:20.920these other people what are you doing the guy's down leave him alone yeah in the moment i can
00:19:27.980understand the aggression but yeah i mean i mean you so like a use of force you you have to you
00:19:37.780have to be um you have to be very restrained um i can tell you a butt stroke to the head is never
00:19:46.520an approved use of force like you that's a that's a lethal use of force um and so you know it what
00:19:54.560we go on is basically a scale of what's um most likely to cause harm so for example a guy like me
00:20:01.720uh so they give us a baton right i've used my baton once and it was only because it was already
00:20:08.260in my hand because i had just broken a window with it um i a guy like me swinging a baton is
00:20:14.540very likely to cause serious damage right yeah uh whereas you know if you get if you get a cop
00:20:21.140who's five foot five or five foot six or something like that and 120 pounds i mean
00:20:25.280they might get tossed around quite a bit and they might have to more sooner go to their
00:20:30.440their weapons just to defend themselves right uh so there there's there's always a hierarchy of
00:20:36.800of things that you're um that you're that you need to choose from and basically at the at the top of
00:20:45.900that is uh or at the end of it is is lethal force right and lethal force isn't necessarily just
00:20:51.720a gun it can be you know swinging your baton at somebody's head like if you're on the ground and
00:20:57.840somebody's on top of you and trying to try to stab you in the neck you know you use whatever's
00:21:01.760there to try and clobber them but you're using very likely to cause grievous bodily harm or death
00:21:13.800is this is the uh is the threshold there did i lose you just for a couple seconds and
00:21:19.440okay good so that's that's the that's the key and and um you know we'd always learned that any any
00:21:26.880headshots um beyond like a fist or something like that where you know like with with an implement
00:21:33.840that's that's more of a lethal uh lethal use of force what about the intimidation factor uh we
00:21:40.400saw the video there of the woman who wanted to go for a coffee down the street i understand she's in0.67
00:21:44.800the red zone but there's six of them and they're all talking to her at the same time and she's
00:21:49.440trying to get that phone out of my face like what's that all about well having a bad day
00:21:56.880I guess. I mean, I found that interesting because he said you're in the red zone as though that's some place where, you know, you're not allowed to walk around and have a coffee.
00:22:07.660And that's, you know, in this country, I mean, I guess with this, with the implementation of this Emergencies Act, you know, legally that might change some things.
00:22:19.640But, you know, then we have to look at whether or not it was legal to implement the Emergencies Act, which it wasn't.
00:22:29.600So it always goes, you always have to trace it backwards to the source, in my opinion.
00:22:35.460And I would say that in a cop's mind, you've got a task.
00:22:44.560and for the most part um a lot of the time you're showing up and you're just like you you are just
00:22:50.200trying to do your job and i i hate that phrase and i think that that's covered all manner of sins
00:22:54.240especially recently um but you know he's thinking okay you know the boss told me i got to get
00:23:00.980everybody out of the red zone or whatever the hell and so he's trying to get everybody out of
00:23:05.320the red zone and um you know one of the more frustrating things that can can happen to you
00:23:10.700uh as a cop is for people to come up and stick their camera phone in your face
00:23:14.280i get it it's law it's legal you're allowed to record cops you know and uh and and in a situation
00:23:22.480like this i totally understand the public recording every interaction because you've
00:23:27.080got stuff going on that shouldn't be going on the other side of that is that that a cop sitting there0.99
00:23:33.320on that line cold frozen uh grumpy you know wearing those stupid visors that fog up all the1.00
00:23:40.400time he's just going to be sick and tired of people sticking phones in his face and yelling0.99
00:23:45.100at him and um you know and so there's that combination of of you you put people together
00:23:52.180who are um you know maybe those cops don't even necessarily totally disagree with everything
00:24:00.300but it's structured in a way that that they literally line up one side and they line up
00:24:06.000the other side, and one's wearing all one, you know, one uniform, and the other one's wearing
00:24:10.380civvies. And so it's this, it gives both sides an us versus them mentality, right? It creates
00:24:21.300a friction where a friction doesn't necessarily need to have been created.
00:24:27.120You know, and then I think there's a certain amount of
00:24:30.760um sensationalism that happens on both ends of the spectrum you've got the ottawa police that are
00:24:38.020you know defending the the thin blue line they're defending the boys in blue and that kind of thing
00:24:42.580and they're saying oh no like we we haven't done anything wrong the lady who got trampled by the
00:24:46.180horse got up and walked away and it was all fine and um you know they're they're minimizing things
00:24:51.420and then and then you get the other side that's it's sort of maximizing things and then and then
00:24:55.540you get the police that are maximizing the things that the, the, and it just, it just creates
00:25:00.580nonsense, right? But out of that nonsense, real harm occurs. And, uh, you know, I, I think that
00:25:08.220the real key in, in scenarios like this is to cut through the nonsense. And that's where our
00:25:15.240leadership is totally falling apart. We've got leadership that's, that's trying to promote
00:25:19.600nonsense at every turn instead of instead of trying to cut through it and say look0.95
00:25:25.580this is this is ridiculous these are canadians let's go talk to these truckers they haven't0.97
00:25:30.660even talked to them you know they haven't even spoken to them no they have not um let me ask0.97
00:25:35.300you this this is the last thing i'm going to ask you tonight uh we still got the uh the the ledge
00:25:39.300protest going on here in manitoba it's not nearly as big as the ottawa one but those guys are still
00:25:44.280out there uh holding the line um is that legal are they allowed to do that i mean and the whole
00:25:51.800ottawa thing was that legal keeping in mind the hierarchy of law in our country um so that that's
00:26:02.300the law you're not a judge you're a lawyer but no i know you've got a deep understanding of the law
00:26:07.700as a cop for all those years yeah yeah i i get that and and i appreciate that um the the law is
00:26:13.200always open for interpretation um in my opinion there is a lot of of very broad interpretation
00:26:23.140that's going on lately and and it it's one-sided broad interpretation and and the and and the way
00:26:30.480the way that you can look at that that that pretty easily tells you a picture is that um
00:26:35.880you you you you can see all of the other things that have happened that haven't had this reaction
00:26:43.180that have been much much more egregious and whether that's um you know actual violence like
00:26:49.520like repeated um you know repeated violence uh whether it's throwing bottles at cops or throwing
00:26:57.020you know tear gas or canisters back at them or whatever right like it's you know that that's
00:27:04.140violence toppling a statue is illegal you can't do that you you know lining up on lining up on a
00:27:10.680city road and you know honking i would say is oh you know could you could you make an argument
00:27:19.720that it's causing a disturbance yeah and and i would i would imagine that that people sitting
00:27:24.200right next to a semi horn that's going off at five in the morning are going to have a legitimate
00:27:27.960time you know they're going to have a legitimate concern but on the on the spectrum of things that
00:27:35.720we've seen happen in this country and in other countries around the world where the an emergency
00:27:39.720measures act used to be the war measures act has not been enacted it's it's at the very lowest end
00:27:48.000of the spectrum so um the the short answer is it's it's as legal if not more so than all of
00:27:56.700the other protests that have come before it um and so i i i don't have any problem with it whatsoever
00:28:02.720james thank you for coming on tonight i really appreciate it and uh we may need you back because
00:28:08.600i understand that there's a convoy uh just now forming in quebec city i'm not sure exactly i'm

00:28:20.820we'll keep track of it thank you again james really appreciate it thanks for having me take

00:28:36.940respect um i found an article the other day somebody sent this to me actually it was written
00:28:45.240in 2014 and published by the huffington post of all publications considering how extremely

00:32:13.380I founded Alfred Up For Freedom on February 4th of 2021 when I decided that I would become a Freedom event organizer.
00:32:22.440I use all the skills that I had developed in my previous life pre-COVID as a DJ, karaoke hostess, entertainer, event organizer, workshop facilitator, and presenter.
00:32:33.620And I use all those skills to organize and host rallies.
00:32:37.040So the website, allfiredoffreedom.com, has a bit of information about me, a bit of information about coming events.
00:32:45.220It's also got a sign-up place so that if people want to sign up, and then I'll email out updates once a week or once every two weeks,
00:32:52.100you can sign up on the website and contact me through the website.
00:32:55.480Okay, so you and I just chatted briefly before I went live tonight, about 10 minutes beforehand,
00:33:01.380that the house of commons had passed the emergency act by a vote of 185 to 153 a lot of people are
00:33:08.340feeling down in the dumps especially after what happened in ottawa the past three days with the
00:33:12.420police cleaning out downtown and the the convoy has been removed now and the emergency act is in
00:33:17.620effect technically speaking well i guess after it passes the senate uh there's a lot of down
00:33:23.620vibes right now uh what can people do do you think to maybe perk themselves up a little bit
00:33:29.540it? Well, I guess one of the things we all need to remind ourselves is we are in a war. This is
00:33:38.080a war. And it's a psychological war. And our enemy will use every tool in their toolbox to
00:33:47.280demoralize us and do the very best that they can to bring us down. So everybody right now,
00:33:56.280angry, outraged, disappointed. You have every right to all of those emotions. But at some point,
00:34:03.980everybody has to take a little step back and sort of disconnect yourself for a moment
00:34:09.700from the emotions and ask the question, okay, what would my enemy want right now?
00:34:17.640Well, they would want you to feel all of those emotions because if you're a negative emotion,
00:34:23.000you actually lose power you lose power you lose hope you lose optimism so if you stay too long
00:34:31.580in those emotions well the enemy has an advantage so we we need to as emotionally we are it's
00:34:39.980perfectly natural to be emotional we have to take a step back and we have to go okay this is a war
00:34:45.540this is a another battle in this particular case it appears they've won this battle it
00:34:53.000set that the vote this evening was to go a certain way and it didn't go the way you had hoped and
00:35:00.180prayed for it's perfectly normal people disappointed and hurt by that when you realize that we were in
00:35:06.780this huge war right here and these are all just battles the the trucks being um removed from
00:35:13.540Ottawa just another battle and we didn't actually lose that battle it all depends on your perception
00:35:19.900and even the battle today where the vote didn't go the way a lot of people that we haven't actually
00:35:27.860lost in when you take a step back and you reanalyze these circumstances in some ways these
00:35:35.980outcomes are doing us a favor now how is that we simply have to reframe it and what it is
00:35:42.480is the more that this government asks out in an irrational and unjust manner,
00:35:51.460the more they play their hand, the more they expose themselves to what they truly are,
00:35:59.540and the more it wakes up the people and wakes up more of our allies, our potential allies.
00:36:05.900Because there are people right now who are saying, well, yes, Justin Trudeau was right to enact the Emergencies Act to get those trucks out of Ottawa.
00:36:17.240Well, the trucks are now out of Ottawa.
00:36:21.140So those people are saying, why continue with the Emergencies Act?
00:37:25.200Having said that, we can't look at these small victories as the end.
00:37:29.340And what do you think is going to be the next step in this war?
00:37:36.240I think strategic behavior is going to be needed, especially until the end of the 30 Days in the Emergencies Act.
00:37:46.780And the Senate very well might express support for it.
00:37:53.160The Governor General, to my knowledge, has not yet stood up for freedom.
00:37:57.140So this emergency act might be in 30 days. So for 30 days, we may very well have to be very, very strategic in our movements, because it will continue to attempt to intimidate us.
00:38:13.780Now, the great news, though, is in many ways, this is just a game of intimidation.
00:38:20.800I was hearing reports in Ottawa, for example, of people who were arrested.
00:38:26.280Really, they were just detained and they were hauled away.
00:38:29.960And it was the officers put on this great show of grabbing someone, handcuffing them, hauling them away, putting them in a paddy wagon.
00:38:37.400Off they go. All they did was release them.
00:38:41.340So they didn't even do any paperwork on them. They were never officially charged. They were just told not to return to Parliament area. Some of those people returned to Parliament area. No problem. So it's a game of intimidation here we're playing. And so that's what's going to happen in the coming weeks.
00:38:58.740special tradition and we just have to be mentally prepared for that and the number one recommendation
00:39:05.680i have for everyone is to be calm stay calm became an industry strategic manner and remember that
00:39:14.820there are strength in numbers bonita thank you for joining the show tonight really appreciate it
00:39:20.600safe travels on your way back to alberta and hopefully we'll get a chance to have you on
00:39:24.140the show again thanks very much okay thank you okay there is benita peterson and her website
00:39:29.940is called all fired up for freedom.com i'd say go check it out she is an incredible
00:39:35.280motivational speaker and i you know i understand that the connection we had with benita tonight
00:39:40.280was a little bit weak she was in a bad cell area but um she's got all kinds of cool videos on her
00:39:46.580website again it's all fired up for freedom.com where she's speaking live to a crowd and she
00:39:52.320really energizes the crowd i wish i was as good as she was or is when it comes to delivering
00:39:57.720speeches i just get up there and you know say whatever the hell happens to be on my mind
00:40:02.000all right so this article here uh again goes back to 2014 and it was published in the huffington
00:40:10.300post and as i mentioned i was kind of surprised that the huffington post would publish an article
00:40:15.720like this seeing as how they are so exceedingly left-wing almost extreme in their viewpoint
00:40:20.760why canada will become a dictatorship under justin trudeau i could tell you when he was first elected
00:40:29.520not as prime minister but as leader of the liberal party i went oh no this kid he comes from the
00:40:37.820school of marxism i could tell from everything he said every every video clip i could find of him i
00:40:45.860knew what we were going to be in for and it's been a slow roll to get to where we are today
00:40:50.800and here we are and there's still been so many Canadians who don't get it yet hopefully like
00:40:57.160Benita said things were will start to to change around this year the leader of the party does
00:41:05.900what he wants this is liberal party when he wants and no one dares question him would a prime
00:41:12.160Minister Trudeau arbitrarily whip the vote and outlaw certain moral questions? Could Prime
00:41:17.740Minister Trudeau be trusted to make decisions for the good of the country, not just for his personal
00:41:22.500self-worth? Would Trudeau call in the police to enforce his vision? Let's hope we never have the
00:41:29.220opportunity to ask those questions. This was written by Daniel Dickin, again, back in 2014.
00:41:35.840It's becoming clearer as the days of Trudeau's liberals wear on
00:41:41.460If elected Prime Minister Justin Trudeau would turn Canada into a dictatorship
00:41:45.740This is the man who admitted he admires China's basic dictatorship
00:42:19.580Even with hundreds of Liberals attending the meeting to show their support for another candidate and former Trudeau leadership rival,
00:42:26.580it was clear from the beginning that Leslie was Trudeau's hand-picked favorite and certainly wouldn't be stopped by pesky processes like democracy.
00:42:33.640Just the imagery of Trudeau's chosen candidate being selected with police intervention is scary.
00:42:41.100It shows that Trudeau doesn't just admire China's basic dictatorship.0.55
00:42:44.500He would practice one if he had the chance.
00:42:47.300So this article goes on, talk about Justin Trudeau as a dictator and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
00:42:53.160And this article is eight, well, almost eight years old.
00:42:58.880Here we are tonight with this vote. The Emergency Measures Act is now in place. Well, again, it's been in place since last Monday, but it's going to get probably passed in the Senate tomorrow. And then the governor general is going to just sign her name to it.
00:43:16.880threats to press during convoy protests a wake-up call experts say this of course comes from left
00:43:25.100wing corporate media ctv now before we we get to this article guys i want to i want to explain to
00:43:30.900you a little bit about an interaction an interaction i had with uh left wing young left
00:43:36.340wing corporate media reporter i don't even know his name it's from city tv it happened on saturday
00:43:41.200afternoon at the manitoba convoy at the legislature and you may have seen it because i've got the
00:43:46.120video on on the page here you may have seen or heard the the i'm not going to call it an
00:43:51.900altercation because it didn't get physical it probably should have but he was a rude
00:43:57.240young punk who didn't seem to understand the law nor did he understand how many city councillors
00:44:03.980there are in the city of winnipeg uh and he was mostly chirping on it's a blockade it's a blockade
00:44:09.680and i said look why do you want to make it sound like it's shutting down the entire city when it's
00:44:15.040merely taking up like one block of of a street that nobody uses downtown anyway there are no
00:44:23.160problems down here as far as traffic is concerned maybe it gets a little slow on broadway from time
00:44:28.160to time mostly on weekends it's not a big deal we're here protesting the illegal mandates
00:44:33.380he didn't get it and he was trying to paint the trucker protest that's going on in winnipeg as
00:44:39.920we speak and things may change in that regard tomorrow from what i understand but for now
00:44:44.300everything is still in place uh he he wanted to make this sound like some kind of an insurrection
00:44:49.780and i said that's where your problem is young man that's why people hate the media because you are
00:44:56.540turning something that is small and insignificant in terms of the way people get around the city
00:45:05.240and that's not accurate reporting even though he swore up and down i am the most fair down
00:45:16.780the middle reporter that i can in the city and you know i don't know who he is i still don't
00:45:22.580know his name but all i can tell you is that you know i none of the reporting has been fair at all
00:45:28.620locally so why would he be any different having said that a couple of the truckers the next day
00:45:34.080told me that his report seemed fair so i don't know i didn't see it myself but that is the kind
00:45:41.260of media that we are facing right now none of them showed any of the police brutality from
00:45:48.720this past weekend in ottawa when there was tons to show i mean i can't get through enough video
00:45:53.960for you guys and i get sent more and more every single day so this story here struck me as funny
00:46:01.940from ctv in a video from ottawa broadcaster stares at the camera in silence as protesters
00:46:07.320surround him and scream expletives calling him a liar and bellowing freedom near the u.s border
00:46:13.340in surrey a cameraman's equipment is shoved off his shoulder and two men spit on him
00:46:18.140again who knows if that's real i don't a demonstrator follows another journalist0.96
00:46:26.140closely yelling that he is a disgusting filthy human being while police escort the reporter0.98
00:46:30.560through a jeering crowd. Experts and advocates say the treatment of journalists captured in many0.98
00:46:36.720cases on video during recent protests against public health measures should be a wake-up call.
00:46:42.520A wake-up call for who, I wonder? Let's continue. What I've seen over the past two days has been
00:46:48.840absolutely sickening from Brent Jolly, president of the Canadian Association of Journalists,
00:46:54.500in an interview. This is what happens when you have your brain scrambled by misinformation.
00:46:59.440Now, I believe he is talking about the misinformation that we have been getting online as opposed to what they provide on their networks.
00:47:09.680Journalists are working in an unprecedented, difficult situation in Canada right now, he said, with threats being hurled at the press both online and in person.
00:47:20.140The degree of hostility and the targets put on journalists' backs are especially concerning and the psychological consequences can be significant, he said.
00:47:29.440Fixing the problem will require a long-term solution that involves a multi-pronged approach.
00:48:07.360Be fair in your reporting, and that way you won't have people yelling at you and calling you a liar.
00:48:13.700Because, Mr. Jolly, here's the difference.
00:48:16.620With the rise of independent media, media like Rebel News, obviously, Western Standard, this show, Winnipeg Alternative Media, we get out and we show you live video from news hotspots.
00:48:33.180like todd did a great job from wham for the past month out in ottawa providing you guys live
00:48:39.880coverage as it was happening as the police lines moved forward as the tear gas was being deployed
00:48:45.960rubber bullets were being fired into the crowd yes indeed they were rubber rubber bullets viva
00:48:51.120fry did a fantastic job of that as well and none of that was covered in the left-wing corporate media
00:48:59.200at all you may have seen it yourself chris sky was here for a rally i think last april
00:49:07.280and that was at the forks and i could swear there was 4 000 people there
00:49:13.140and what did all of the left-wing corporate media in town say a gathering of a few hundred people
00:49:19.800showed up at the forks and listened to a speech by right-wing extreme commentator chris sky
00:49:25.840like where's the disconnect here i saw the media the left-wing corporate media as i was there i
00:49:33.520saw them they were standing on on the parkade above the hill behind the cn stage at the forks
00:49:39.560they had a perfect angle of how many people were there and if they counted a few hundred when i saw
00:49:44.1404 000 what you see what i mean and there have been all kinds of stories i mean i'm talking to
00:49:54.620the truckers this past weekend at the ledge and they said you know i was there that's not what
00:49:59.560happened i get home i turn on the news that night and this is a complete fabrication of what happened
00:50:06.320it's not even close to what happened so as as far as getting security and blaming you know social
00:50:15.000media companies for promoting myths and disinformation maybe you guys should tell the
00:50:21.040truth about what's going on out there instead of lying about it now i don't know if you're
00:50:26.700like intentionally lying or if it's a mistake but it seems like there's a lot of mistakes made by
00:50:34.520the left-wing corporate media and if they just did some decent and responsible reporting they
00:50:41.280wouldn't have this problem to begin with so you know and and that kid too from the press conference
00:52:38.760the masks by the way take it off it doesn't work anyway um what do we see here regina brew pub
00:52:49.400creating vaccinated only room to quell covet 19 concerns bushwhacker brew pubs customers
00:52:56.820appreciate the move says the bar manager from cbc of course so they think they've created a
00:53:03.820solution for customers hesitant about dining out after the province's proof of vaccination
00:53:09.500or negative test requirement was lifted on February 14th. Restaurant in the city's warehouse district
00:53:15.780has reserved its Arizona room, a banquet room that seats about 50 people exclusively for customers
00:53:21.740fully vaccinated against COVID-19 who are concerned about restrictions lifting or are
00:53:26.480immunocompromised. So I guess when you call this place for reservation, are you vaccinated or
00:53:32.200unvaccinated. Would you like the vaccinated room, sir? I'm not sure how big this place is,
00:53:38.780but 50 people, maybe the restaurant seats 150. That would give the unvaccinated or the people1.00
00:53:45.900that don't care the advantage. Either way, it's ridiculous already. You're still perpetuating0.89
00:53:50.920separation. Don't do that. If they're not going to come out, they're not going to come out.
00:53:58.100But if every single restaurant and place of business said, no, we're not using these ridiculous vaccine passports anymore, then that will force those people to come out if they want to dine out and get used to the idea that life has gone back to normal.0.89
00:54:18.680And the faster they accept that, the faster we can all kind of start healing the problems that have divided us for the past couple of years.0.72
00:54:26.140is the fight's not over yet you know there's still going to be all kinds of corporations
00:54:31.340and municipalities that are going to try and put their restrictions in place and of course as we
00:54:36.540know the federal government hasn't taken theirs away yet and they've just enacted the emergency
00:54:41.560act as of tonight well they got through one hurdle anyway it's going to go to the senate tomorrow
00:54:46.580one step closer to making this real for the next three and a half weeks
00:54:50.580so the fight's the fight's not over as i pointed out in my little speech at uh at the rally
00:54:59.740uh the other day this is only the beginning guys this is only the beginning we need more people
00:55:06.980uh with some sort of cachet hollywood people and i i hate to say this because we could probably do
00:55:12.580this without them but for somebody like evangeline lily who is a canadian she grew up in ottawa to
00:55:18.560come out and say Justin Trudeau needs to listen to the Freedom Convoy members and not treat
00:55:23.680protesters as terrorists in an impassioned plea. I would say that's a really good thing
00:55:29.820because it's not a radical request. Excuse me, Mr. Prime Minister, but would you come out and
00:55:36.600meet with us, please? And that's what the Manitoba truckers said in their press conference the other
00:55:40.840day. We want a dialogue with the Prime Minister. Prime Minister, will you come out and have this
00:55:45.440dialogue with us please we're not asking for your resignation even though a lot of them aren't now
00:55:50.020after what he's done in the past couple of days with his righteous indignation and his you know
00:55:55.160completely uh condescending way of speaking and he's spoken like that always but it seems to have
00:56:01.440gotten worse in the last couple of months just come on out and have a conversation that's all
00:56:06.760we're asking nobody is going to hurt you maybe he's a little bit sensitive because during the
00:56:11.180last election campaign people were throwing gravel at him so maybe he should come out in in a plexiglass
00:56:18.900box or something so nobody can get to him and have that conversation come out trudeau in a plexiglass
00:56:25.540box with a little talking hole kind of like they do at convenience stores these days and you can
00:56:34.520have the conversation you don't have to do it but at least you could say you listened instead of
00:56:40.600bringing on the emergency measures act maybe he'll listen to evangeline lily who knows
00:56:46.020guys i want to wrap up tonight's show with some good news so let me give you know what
00:56:51.740i'm not sure because benita peterson on the show earlier she's right in the next three and a half
00:56:59.560weeks as long as this emergency act is going to be in place we need to be smart about how we do
00:57:05.140things if they start another convoy someplace so soon they might you know get identified as
00:57:15.360terrorists and have the cops come and smash their brains in like they did in ottawa just
00:57:19.260this past weekend but listen to this justin here's the 10 trucks one two three four five six0.99
