00:23:33.800Our legal system may find me, us, guilty,
00:23:37.180but the legality and morality of our country are no longer aligned.
00:23:42.440Marco said that, and then Peckford elaborated.
00:23:46.000This is part of the statement by Marco Van Heugenbos of the Coutts Three after being found guilty of mischief for behavior at the Alberta border during the COVID protests.
00:23:55.040Mr. Van Heugenbos hits the nail squarely on the head.
00:24:00.360This country, through its so-called legal system, has ignored...
00:24:05.040Now, remember who Brian Peckford is. He's the last surviving signatory of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, as flawed as it is.
00:24:11.660It needs to be changed. It needs to be protected more.
00:24:15.000Section 1's got to go. Anyway, the legal system has ignored the Charter of Rights and Freedoms
00:24:20.560opening words, whereas Canada is founded on principles that recognize the supremacy of God
00:24:26.360and the rule of law and abused Section 1 of this same charter by violating demonstrably justified
00:24:32.680and in a free and democratic society, and hence no longer has the decency or respect towards its
00:24:39.020people that's characteristic of a democratic nation. Thousands have been injured and many
00:24:44.940hundreds dead as a result of government's mandates and lockdowns and blatant coercion
00:24:50.160and lies to use experimental health damaging vaccines. People's rights and freedoms have
00:24:55.540been trampled on and our constitution destroyed. These Kutzmen are to be lauded for their courage,
00:25:03.080their faith, and their tenacity in the face of the country's leadership at all levels
00:26:45.640The things that happened to this guy in the past couple of years
00:26:49.620that didn't get publicized through this country,
00:26:52.740And I guess for reasons like Freedom Convoy and, you know, like when you're going up against the Freedom Convoy in the news run, it's kind of difficult to make your story heard, you know, but his story and the story of his daughter are incredible.
00:27:10.200I mean, right up there with a Kirk Rees-style thing.
00:27:13.040And the jury is still out, by the way, on Kirk Rees and his story,
00:27:16.880but Dale Richardson's story is absolutely verified on video.
00:27:22.220So he's coming on to tell us all about what's happened to him and why on Monday night,
00:32:52.940Congratulations! You're a thief, you're a criminal, as far as I'm concerned, and anybody who went along with it in the government bureaucracy and any elected representative is also a criminal.
00:33:11.920Now this actually leads me to my point.
00:33:15.360How many of us have, oh, this is from the budget yesterday, you guys are going to hate this.
00:33:20.240how many of us have woken up politically i mean we were aware obviously of elections before all
00:33:26.540of this happened we were aware probably who was the prime minister and maybe a couple of cabinet
00:33:30.620ministers names we knew who our premier was and all of that but how many of us gathered here tonight
00:33:36.240have become more politically aware in the past couple of years just based upon what's happened
00:33:43.500I mean, the government has reached right into our homes and right in and told us you can't leave in some cases, have told us you can't stay out past this time.
00:33:55.720We're grownups. We can make our own decisions in a free and democratic society.
00:48:50.840Like, how is the Prime Minister going to guarantee that there's not massive cuts to services for Canadians with the cutting of 5,000 employees?
00:48:58.560How is he going to justify to people living with disabilities that $200 a month...
00:59:26.400and the second reason is that you will see a beautiful pair of statues together of a paper
00:59:35.100boy named John Diefenbaker selling a newspaper to Wilfred Laurier. Laurier was in Saskatoon
00:59:44.640on July 29th sorry excuse me July 29th 1910 sorry I didn't bring my notes just like Justin I don't
00:59:53.080read. So anyway, Deep is out in the street selling newspapers. And along comes a prime minister who
01:00:05.040that day was laying a cornerstone at a college of the University of Saskatchewan. And Delorier
01:00:13.800actually buys a newspaper from this kid, gives him 25 cents. By the way, that was before just
01:00:21.200inflation when 25 cents was a lot of money and so the two of them talked for a little while i think
01:00:27.520laurier later later in the day recounted this conversation with this young whippersnapper
01:00:32.960and before the conversation could come to an end deep said being a good conservative said to
01:00:39.640himself i'm not making any sales right now i gotta wrap this up he said sorry prime minister but i
01:00:45.280can't waste any more time with you. I have more newspapers to sell. But there you had a future
01:00:52.940prime minister who was then a paper boy. I was a paper boy too, by the way. And a current prime
01:01:01.020minister. And you think these two guys have nothing in common. One was a liberal. The other
01:01:05.880was a conservative. The other was a French Catholic. The other was an English-speaking
01:01:12.300Baptists. One was a Quebecer. The other was a prairie boy. Their terms were separated by
01:01:19.800almost half a century. But in fact, they had plenty in common. They both believed in the
01:01:26.180common wisdom and the common sense of the common people. When Laurier was asked,
01:01:32.020what is Canada's nationality? Now, in most places, a leader in that time would have defined
01:01:37.840nationality based on religion ethnicity or some other demarcation line of the sort but he could
01:01:48.300do no such thing because even back then over a century ago we were all mixed up right we had of
01:01:55.440course the first peoples we had the French the English the Scots the Irish Asian immigrants
01:02:00.460were already starting to arrive on our shores so we couldn't define ourselves by ethnicity
01:02:05.380We had Catholic and Protestant and the arrival of new religions, new from a North American point of view, to our continent and to our country.
01:02:16.560And so he defined Canada and its nationality the following way.
01:02:20.220He said, Canada is free and freedom is its nationality.
01:02:25.040Now, Diefenbaker would later sign the Bill of Rights, and on it he would write,
01:02:36.960I'm a Canadian, a free Canadian, free to speak without fear, free to worship God in my own way,
01:02:45.340free to stand for what I think right, free to oppose what I believe wrong.
01:02:52.620this heritage of freedom I pledge to uphold for myself and all of mankind. Both of them
01:03:00.160believed in our ancient liberties, liberties that we had inherited and that had been passed down
01:03:04.960over 800 years from 1215, the Magna Carta, all the way to then and to now. Liberties that they
01:03:12.120believed for which they were the custodians. They were simply, they were not the owners of that
01:03:17.040liberty. They were simply the guardians whose job it was to take the torch and pass it on,
01:03:22.640as Edmund Burke explained, a contract between the dead, the living, and the yet-to-be-born.
01:03:32.120They understood. Thank you very much, Roy. Dr. Roy gave me a round of applause there. Thank you,
01:03:36.680Roy. Speaking of non-partisanship, I'll be conservative in my remarks if you'd be liberal
01:03:44.680in your applause. Thank you, Dr. Roy. And they weren't there to reinvent the universe. They
01:03:52.800didn't think that they were the living embodiment of God, that they could engineer humans and
01:03:59.180populations and recreate some brave, new world. They were here to inherit the great gifts that
01:04:09.240ancestors before them had passed down and they understood that Canada wasn't perfect just as we
01:04:15.660look back at our history today and acknowledge it wasn't perfect and you know what though
01:04:20.120whenever we have gone wrong it is because we have gotten away from those basic principles
01:04:26.780of human freedom and in favored too much state coercion and control not the other way around
01:04:33.920that that common sense consensus guided our country for its first hundred years
01:04:41.040they went into hibernation between about 1967 and 1984 and then it reawoke it reawakened uh
01:04:50.160in with the election of the great brian maloney who reversed the course of the previous decade
01:04:57.480and a half course. He inherited the country in a total mess. High unemployment and inflation
01:05:04.160interest rates were in the double digits. The suicide rate had reached its highest level
01:05:09.580in Canadian history the year before, as so many people were losing their homes and their jobs
01:05:14.660as a direct result of excessive government control and coercion and the absolutely insane
01:05:23.840policies that had drowned our country in debt. And so Brian Mulroney set out in 1984 to reduce
01:05:31.380the size of the state, to get rid of unnecessary red tape and regulations, to privatize 23 crown
01:05:37.140corporations, to bring us into an operating surplus. We did have an actual deficit that was
01:05:44.840entirely the interest payments on Pierre Elliott Trudeau's debt, but the operating balance of the
01:05:51.900government was positive. He signed the biggest and most successful free trade agreement in Canadian
01:05:57.140history. And if you think I just want to praise him because he was on the blue team, I will say
01:15:40.920Is the company responsible for all the COVID testing kits for air travel?
01:15:56.080Hmm. All right. Well, Anita Polyev apparently, apparently had something to do with the PCR testing or the masks or the vaccine or something like that.
01:16:08.680Does that mean that Pierre Polyev is a Marxist?
01:16:11.500Does that mean because John Baird is a young global leader,
01:16:14.220this is his personal advisor now, John Baird,
01:16:16.560does that mean Pierre Polyev is a Marxist?
01:16:37.120We should keep our eyes on any government, especially if they have a super majority when they're feeling like they can do anything and nobody's going to call them out on anything.
01:16:47.760That's when we really have to watch them because these politicians, they're human beings.
01:18:59.820against the carbon tax we can do this we can win this we can but we have to believe we can each one
01:19:09.520of us is very powerful you have the ability to call an mla to call an mpp to call an mp and tell
01:19:17.820him or her what you think you have the ability to send that email you have the ability to write
01:19:23.720that letter you can tell them they are obliged to read those things or at least open them
01:19:29.120and if they get enough of them they're going to start feeling the heat
01:19:33.080they need to know what we feel at all times it can't just be the same 12 people writing their
01:19:40.960MPs all the time we need to have hundreds thousands of people I can guarantee you these
01:19:46.960MPs don't get more than 20 letters or emails from people in their constituency a week
01:19:53.600what would happen if they started getting 2,000 you think they'd start paying attention
01:19:58.840Absolutely they would. They are spoiled. And not just the politicians. Again, I'm not saying all politicians, but generally speaking, yeah, most of them. It's the bureaucrats who believe that they are on the gravy train, that they deserve, that somehow your money is their money to do with as they want.
01:20:18.600they need to be held accountable as well
01:20:21.920that's why we need to keep watch on them
