00:04:30.000 We'll be right back.
00:05:00.420 Hello, everybody. How you doing? And welcome to Shadow at Night. This is Thursday, April the 18th, 2024.
00:05:08.180 You heard me the other night, very disappointedly, discussing the departure of Chris Skye.
00:05:14.240 When I say departure, I'm talking about him shutting down his social media.
00:05:18.960 He's been active on social media for the past four years, ever since all the nonsense started.
00:05:23.120 We've been hearing from Chris Skye.
00:05:24.460 I think he came to prominence right around Rebel News when they did that piece in September of 2020.
00:05:33.560 So about three or four months after all of the craziness began, the protests started, and Chris Skye came into our consciousness.
00:05:41.460 And from there, he became this figure, this figure of hope, this figure of hate for some people, this figure of disdain for other people.
00:05:49.760 And the one thing I feel he did was open a lot of eyes around this country.
00:05:55.760 If you loved him or if you hated him, you hated the way he dressed,
00:05:58.860 you didn't like his neck tats, you didn't like the way he spoke,
00:06:01.260 you didn't like his teeth, whatever.
00:06:03.720 The bottom line is he opened up a lot of eyes.
00:06:06.640 He spent a lot of his own money.
00:06:07.940 He raised some money as well.
00:06:10.280 But he did a lot of things he did not have to do.
00:06:14.620 And so I became worried after that
00:06:17.500 Because I believe that Chris has been one of the pillars of the freedom and truth movement in this country since the beginning.
00:06:24.480 And I became worried, can we continue as strongly, if you can call it that, as we have been without a guy like that?
00:06:33.760 Who steps in to fill that void?
00:06:35.600 There's going to be many people who try.
00:06:37.660 And they're going to try and do it the same way Chris did.
00:06:39.680 They're going to be loud.
00:06:41.300 And they're not going to get it.
00:06:42.800 They're not going to get how.
00:06:43.660 It's like when Howard Stern became this huge shock jock.
00:06:47.740 Of course, that created a copycat phenomenon. 0.62
00:06:50.360 Everybody out there was talking about lesbians and talking about their poop and whatever, 1.00
00:06:55.760 because that's what they thought Stern was doing it for. 0.65
00:06:58.360 But that wasn't the reason that Stern became popular.
00:07:01.720 The reason was he just spoke his mind.
00:07:04.160 And in his mind, there was a lot of dirty stuff, but there was also a lot of very interesting stuff.
00:07:09.720 And people misunderstood that.
00:07:11.860 So I think we're going to have a lot of copycats possibly coming through the Freedom and Truth movement, trying to fill that Chris Sky void if, in fact, Chris stays away for a while.
00:07:22.720 But what can we do? Those of us who were left, I mean, I'm not going anywhere. You're probably not going anywhere.
00:07:29.720 So here we are. And some people have, in fact, gone somewhere and they keep tabs on what happens through shows like this every night at eight o'clock central.
00:07:40.580 So can we move forward bigger and better than before?
00:07:46.140 It's going to take a group effort, obviously.
00:07:48.860 And from what we've been seeing with these carbon tax protests
00:07:51.880 the last couple of weeks across the country,
00:07:54.000 some are strong, some are weak, some are non-existent.
00:07:57.680 Can't do we have it?
00:07:59.640 People were all over me the last couple of days.
00:08:03.040 How dare you call people out for not participating?
00:08:05.660 okay so some tough conversations need to be had and many people like myself and my guests tonight
00:08:17.000 Ken and Rosalie Drysdale have been feeling like how can we get these folks engaged what's it going
00:08:24.980 to take to get them to stand up and take action and say no more here's the line no further some
00:08:32.820 of you have already. Congratulations. Awesome. That's fantastic. Others, not. Even though
00:08:39.220 you know what's going on, you're waiting for somebody else to do it for you. Is that
00:08:43.840 what it is? Or you can't do it because you're older, you've got a disability, whatever it
00:08:50.260 is. That's absolutely understandable. I will take that as a reason, not an excuse, as a
00:08:56.180 reason. But for those of you who are fully able-bodied, you do have the cash to be able
00:09:01.380 to attend these things, but you don't.
00:09:04.160 Are you scared?
00:09:06.020 Have you got other obligations?
00:09:07.960 Exactly what is it?
00:09:10.480 And these questions are going to have to be answered
00:09:12.880 at some point soon,
00:09:13.840 and maybe that could be one of the things we discuss
00:09:16.720 at the big Stronger Together conference
00:09:18.800 coming up here in Manitoba in June,
00:09:21.260 which is going to be hosted by Manitoba Stronger Together,
00:09:24.460 Ken and Rosalie Drysdale,
00:09:26.000 who will join the show in just a second.
00:09:28.140 The Shadow at Night livestream is brought to you
00:09:30.680 by Canada Nanosilver, canadananosilver.ca.
00:09:33.980 The lozenges are back.
00:09:35.240 There's manuka honey and there's honey.
00:09:36.880 Now, people say, Shadow, why do they have two different kinds of honey?
00:09:39.960 Well, Kev Sigurdsson is going to join us later on tonight
00:09:42.520 for a quick cameo appearance on the show.
00:09:45.440 Maybe he can explain that.
00:09:46.620 My understanding is, well, yeah, but they taste different.
00:09:49.920 One's more lemony than the other.
00:09:51.640 There's the vitamin C orange flavor,
00:09:53.360 and there's also the elderberry zinc flavor.
00:09:56.040 So four unique styles and flavors of these beautiful Canada nano silver lozenges.
00:10:04.680 And here's the description of them.
00:10:06.740 Soothe and cool your throat while supporting your immune system.
00:10:09.600 They're safe and effective.
00:10:11.040 And it's an alternative to products made with chemicals, the kind you buy in Shoppers Drug Mart, London Drugs, et al., Safeway, Super Value, you know, all the big corporate globalist organizations.
00:10:20.360 Made with cooling organic mint, soothing organic honey, made with natural and organic ingredients.
00:10:24.840 gluten-free, soy-free, nut-free, no preservatives, no dyes, no artificial flavor, and the power of
00:10:30.600 silverseutical technology. CanadaNanoSilver.ca. I say again, that is CanadaNanoSilver.ca. If you
00:10:37.840 want to find a retail location near you, there is a list on the retail locations tab on the website.
00:10:43.060 If you'd like to contact Kevin and Anna about becoming a retailer of these awesome products,
00:10:47.140 get a hold of them right there through the contact tab. CanadaNanoSilver.ca. Again,
00:10:51.760 That is CanadaNanoSilver.ca.

00:13:35.560 And who else is the founder of Manitoba Stronger together with you guys?
00:13:39.200 Chris Riddell.
00:13:40.240 Chris Riddell.
00:13:40.940 Hello, Chris.
00:13:41.540 I hope you're watching tonight.
00:13:44.220 So you guys have got this big conference planned.
00:13:46.860 We sat down for lunch a couple of weeks ago and discussed it.
00:13:51.480 And I like the idea of it.
00:13:53.860 I think it's a fantastic idea.
00:13:55.500 I'm sure that you have added some things in the last couple of weeks since we talked.
00:14:01.480 And one thing Ken kept saying throughout the conversation that Rosalie said,
00:14:07.420 would you stop saying that, was, well, this is Rosalie's baby,
00:14:12.000 so I really can't answer that question.
00:14:15.060 Yeah, you know, it's all a ruse.
00:14:16.660 That's a ruse, Shadow.
00:14:18.740 So which one of you guys is going to talk about this idea, this concept?
00:14:24.760 Take it all the way from the beginnings of when you thought of it
00:14:28.000 until where it is today.
00:14:29.360 Well, I think we're going to tag team on that. But I'll start with where this came from. You know, for those of your listeners who didn't know, you know, I was the or I am the chairman of the commissioners in the National Citizens Inquiry. And as a result of that, you know, I spent almost three months traveling from coast to coast in Canada, stopping in eight cities and interviewing people.
00:14:52.040 You know, we interviewed 305 witnesses. And what what came out about that is I was hearing about all kinds of groups all over the country that I'd never heard of before.
00:15:02.620 And when I would be in, let's say, Saskatoon and talking to some people in freedom groups there and I would be telling them what was going on in Nova Scotia or Quebec or Ottawa, none of them had any idea of what was going on.
00:15:15.960 And so what we were thinking, so having looked at that and starting to try to understand
00:15:23.600 what's going on in the movement, we decided that it would be really good if we could get
00:15:28.000 people together in one place and all of these groups together, and they would start talking
00:15:32.540 to each other, and they'd start getting to know each other, and they could exchange ideas.
00:15:37.040 You know, I'm doing this here in Alberta.
00:15:40.040 What are you doing in Quebec?
00:15:41.220 Or what are you doing in Nova Scotia?
00:15:42.940 Can you help me with this?
00:15:44.400 And that's not happening right now.
00:15:45.860 So the whole intent of this, although we've got a jam-packed schedule and agenda, but the whole intent, the real intent is to get people together so that they get to know each other and they can use each other as resource, right?
00:15:59.900 Well, when we first, okay, that was Ken's experience.
00:16:02.400 And, of course, I was sort of like watching it and being a part of it.
00:16:06.240 But as time went by, I saw that he was in connection and in contact with all the various leaders and all the people from coast to coast.
00:16:13.620 but i began to see that like a lot of the organizations weren't necessarily in touch
00:16:19.060 with each other so this whole thing kind of the mushroom from maybe we should get the leaders
00:16:23.320 together so we're talking about that i'm going to say at least a year ago with the idea we're
00:16:27.460 thinking about it so that the leaders can connect with each other and kind of exchange ideas that
00:16:31.860 whole idea but then when this thing finally rounded the corner just a little while ago i would say
00:16:36.100 a couple months ago it just kind of all of a sudden rounded the corner and just kind of took
00:16:39.560 shape actually it was amazing how it happened um it became sort of not just leaders but people that
00:16:46.280 are involved in all the organizations we need to know each other we need to touch taste feel see
00:16:50.240 you know see each other it's not just on zoom calls and have most of us don't even know who
00:16:55.480 all the different organizations are and i think it's it's a real pulling together of people and
00:16:59.780 seeing that we're all there's a lot of us we're not a fringe minority we are the majority actually
00:17:04.080 those of us we don't all agree on everything but uh you know most canadians are clear thinking
00:17:10.140 reasonable rational people and i think it's really powerful really powerful for us to get together
00:17:15.920 and talk and hear what each other has to say yeah yeah absolutely you know and and you know
00:17:21.200 one of the elephants in the room whenever you talk about this is that this group is at cross
00:17:26.740 purposes with that group and this person's mad at that person and you know a lot of that's because
00:17:31.580 nobody knows anybody and everybody sees people on little postage stamps or they hear this or they
00:17:36.900 hear that shadow you know better than anybody you've got all these people on social media
00:17:40.880 that they think they know this and they think they know that and they're throwing things
00:17:44.840 and that really poisons the group but if you know somebody face to face you know you spent three
00:17:49.840 days talking with them uh interacting with them working with them you know that's a bond that
00:17:56.380 hopefully will overcome a lot of those other things we're dealing with you know i absolutely
00:18:00.240 agree because so many people for the past oh god since i've been doing this over three years now
00:18:06.480 people you speak to on shows like this you know i mean i've been lucky enough to meet you guys
00:18:11.460 several times because we're in the same area but i met chris barber tamara leach for the very first
00:18:18.080 time eva chipiak for the very first time a month ago at the chris barber fundraiser in swift current
00:18:22.900 And all of those people who were there were, you know, I mean, it was such a heartwarming experience to meet these folks and just to sit and speak with them.
00:18:36.800 And and they told me their stories. And you sit and you hear that and you're just so moved and touched by each one of these people.
00:18:44.240 And yeah, you're right. You learn about them and you gain a layer of, I don't know, trust and affection for them, you know, and you realize that you're not just talking to an empty room, that you're not just talking to a camera every night, that there are people there and there are people engaged, even as frustrated as we get sometimes.
00:19:04.480 I mean, I know that you guys have got over 50,000 people who are members of Manitoba Stronger Together,
00:19:10.100 and yet, you know, we were talking about this privately, but I think it's worth talking about publicly now.
00:19:14.980 It's very difficult to get these folks engaged.
00:19:17.660 And we heard Chris Skye, you know, shutting down his social media a couple of days ago.
00:19:22.300 I mean, are we going forward? Are we building momentum?
00:19:25.920 Or do we take one step forward and two steps back, does it seem like?
00:19:29.520 you know what we're just as you're talking i'm just like we're we are relational creatures
00:19:35.060 and it's all about seeing you like we're seeing each other now on screen but we've met in person
00:19:39.900 and just to breathe the same air and just be with each other there's just a connection that we
00:19:45.220 absolutely need to have and i i'm sad you know that i mean chris guy i don't i didn't meet him
00:19:49.440 personally but people get tired and and we're finding that uh as well you know leaders that
00:19:55.740 they're talking to Ken, they're saying, you know what, people are getting tired. And I think if we
00:20:00.660 connect with each other, physically see each other, break bread together, as they say, you know,
00:20:06.200 look, Ken and I are having tea together. I wish I could be pouring you a cup of tea.
00:20:09.900 I know, isn't that sweet? Here's to shout out.
00:20:14.780 But you know, you're right. I mean, it's on us. And maybe we've failed a little bit as so-called
00:20:20.220 leaders in the movement these past few years by not bringing new leaders into it. That's what
00:20:25.720 you're supposed to do right we're supposed to bring more leaders in and they're supposed to
00:20:29.760 bring more leaders in and so on and so on and so on i suppose that's the activist role of things
00:20:34.840 do you know what i think sorry no i was gonna say it's hard okay hold on just a second you
00:20:40.840 you two are hilarious together so you could do the show all night by yourselves i could just pop
00:20:45.580 off screen i mean that that day we had lunch a couple of weeks ago i thoroughly enjoyed myself
00:20:50.660 but i just wanted to say thank you absolutely entertaining anyway you were saying what was i
00:20:56.320 gonna say it's gonna come to me it's gonna come to me uh oh oh yeah i think it was along these
00:21:03.640 lines that's part of i think what we want to do is create new leaders and just learn from each
00:21:10.320 other this is all a part of the you know the the mushrooming of of exchanging ideas what's working
00:21:16.160 for you oh is that right yeah we should do that too we can't do it we can't do it in our community
00:21:20.240 exactly like that but that's what you guys are oh that's brilliant whatever and then not only that
00:21:25.160 oh we got a crisis over here we met such and such on the west coast give them a call or you're moving
00:21:30.300 over there be connected we got to connect this is a huge country this is the thing that really
00:21:34.920 blows my mind when i think about it the land mass of canada we're the second largest land mass of
00:21:39.480 any country in the world but we have such a small population 40 million give or take well it's
00:21:45.260 growing pretty fast lately apparently yeah but you know i mean we've never been our leaders
00:21:53.760 our government has never been great at connecting us in fact they're professional at dividing us
00:21:58.640 i think it's time for us to take the bull by the horns and start you know connecting each other
00:22:03.480 we're relational and i think it's time to do that and it's kind of uh yeah and the other thing you
00:22:09.260 know we we're a society of instant gratification and i always remind people you know it took us
00:22:14.740 50 years or so to get into the spot we're in now and we've been fighting back against it for
00:22:19.620 two or three years you know and we've made tremendous strides but it can't be on
00:22:26.880 one person in a thousand or one person in a million you know it people have to step up
00:22:33.480 everybody has a role to play everybody yeah yeah you know uh you started doing this a couple of
00:22:40.320 years ago ken right you were pretty much semi-retired you were working on rosalie's music
00:22:44.580 career and uh you know recording her and and the band and and then all of this and i i've heard
00:22:52.060 your story but rosalie i i haven't heard yours i mean how has this been for you how far back do you
00:22:58.060 want to go well we can go back a couple of years when ken first started writing that report did
00:23:03.780 you go oh no oh no or were you the one who pushed him into it no i'll tell you what i'm saying oh
00:23:10.240 no i'm saying it now like oh brother now we're into it no it's like it's like i was saying to
00:23:17.100 somebody it's like when you're on the ski lift on the chair lift and it's like now you gotta jump
00:23:21.380 off and go down the hill that's kind of where we're at now but you know when he was starting
00:23:25.520 that whole report thing he was just starting to do it because he was having some interaction with
00:23:29.920 some people and tried he said that doesn't sound right i'm gonna check into it of course he's a
00:23:34.000 statistician and a mathematician and a scientist and all these things and he you know can read
00:23:39.660 charts like and make them and he's looking at stats canada i think you know that story um and
00:23:45.080 he's saying you know this doesn't he just he was just looking at the stats as given to us by stats
00:23:50.080 canada with with he wasn't trying to make it be one way or the other no opinion just to look at
00:23:54.420 it mathematically and that's where you know the 89 page report came from because like this does
00:23:58.660 not add up and as he was writing it he's telling me about it and then he was like math forget it
00:24:04.340 who cares nobody's gonna want i said no no this is really good you gotta finish it you actually
00:24:08.280 did one first and then you did another then you did the 89 yes so that's what happened i said no
00:24:13.560 this needs to go out because you know look like a lot of us we're we knew something was not right
00:24:19.160 and so i thought he's got to finish this and nobody nobody can quite do it like he can do it
00:24:23.960 so then the rest is history yeah but i mean for you personally i mean you know you guys like i
00:24:30.040 said you're a great couple and and obviously you support each other very much in everything that
00:24:34.600 you do but ken has been away from home a lot i mean you know you you've been out with the nci i
00:24:40.380 know you were recently in calgary can and you've been all over the country doing interviews and
00:24:45.000 and a lot of interviews i mean daily i think you're doing two or three and some of them take
00:24:49.960 a long long time i mean how how has this changed for you guys well it has changed i think we've
00:24:57.900 kind of slowly kind of both morphed along with it i guess i don't know i don't well you know what i
00:25:03.440 want to be honest here oh dear um when i came back when i came back from nci and when i say
00:25:13.020 come back november 28th was when we issued that report that 5 400 page report yeah i believe i
00:25:20.200 had some pst pst pts pts and and i believe some of the other people involved did as well because
00:25:27.540 you know what we were doing was is it was for two and a half months so we have a travel date we have
00:25:33.880 three days of hearings and a travel date and then a day off and then we're back again so five days
00:25:38.280 a week for for for two and a half months and and what we were doing of course is for 12 to 14 hours
00:25:44.920 a day we were listening to the most horrendous heartbreaking incredibly terrible story you can
00:25:52.620 even imagine and then we would have dinner at 10 o'clock and we go to bed and do it again
00:25:58.160 and so that that was a strain and then when we were writing the report shadow i think you know
00:26:04.100 that at least personally i was hoping we would get the report done in time to make a difference
00:26:10.540 for sheila lewis and of course she died when we were about halfway or three quarters of the way
00:26:16.700 through that report and and and and and that had an effect and then what was weighing on us the
00:26:22.840 whole time and doing the report was the that we had to do something that had fidelity to the 305
00:26:31.180 canadians that came forth were scared of their jobs scared of the what happened in their community
00:26:36.320 would happen to them in their communities but they came forward anyway so that you know apart
00:26:41.340 from this this behemoth report we had to put together we were weighted down by these
00:26:46.680 responsibilities and you know it's it really is quite amazing and and folks might not understand
00:26:53.220 this but you know we started those hearings in march and we issued a 4 5 400 page report
00:26:59.240 november 28th of the same year had that been a royal commission it was about 20 30 million and
00:27:04.780 it would take seven years to do and i'm not exaggerating people can go look up what royal
00:27:08.340 commissions do and and that that report didn't cost the taxpayer a dime you know it was all
00:27:14.520 everyday Canadians who donated to it so that responsibility and even to this day that
00:27:20.920 responsibility why the heck should I be doing interviews every day when I could be in Mexico
00:27:27.260 I've got lots of people in Mexico on the beach right now or in wherever and I'd love to be there
00:27:31.900 But that responsibility, you know, those 305 people, you know, it weighs on you.
00:27:39.220 So when you ask how did it affect you, it's made me a little shorter of temper than I have.
00:27:47.080 And, you know, for Ken to even use the word, the phrase PTSD concerning himself is that's new because he's never somebody to go, oh, well, this is how I feel today.
00:27:58.400 And I feel sad and you upset me.
00:28:00.880 you know what he's not that kind of guy but this was and and you know what i i don't know if we
00:28:07.180 still completely have fleshed the whole thing out because when you and i was at most of those
00:28:13.440 i was just an observer i wasn't on the uh panel or anything but when when you're right there and
00:28:19.420 you see the these people these canadians your fellow canadians in all the integrity and honesty
00:28:26.060 and nervousness of their being sit there at a table being videoed having a small audience being
00:28:33.700 questioned by lawyers and commissioners i mean this is like talking about the pain of life how
00:28:40.180 the government ruined them and and and their bodies and their businesses i mean the stories
00:28:48.260 are even now you just think they're heart-rending and i i feel bad that i don't think this report is
00:28:53.820 getting near the attention no in in our country and even worldwide that it should be on his side
00:28:58.620 but there were times i'll tell you what i observed after they you know they closed down for the day
00:29:04.260 whatever time it was six o'clock seven o'clock then we go for dinner as ken said uh the commission
00:29:10.320 some of the commissioners some of the volunteers there there were times you couldn't even speak
00:29:14.320 because it was just honestly and i'm not trying to be a drama queen here just horrendous just
00:29:18.860 like this actually is happening and to this day a lot of canadians don't even realize what
00:29:23.800 this is all about there were days where I'm one in particular stands out in my mind I think this
00:29:29.780 was in Red Deer Alberta we were done with it and uh everybody was just quiet like there was like
00:29:34.980 hardly any speaking because it was just how it ended it was just like like that's like it's just
00:29:40.000 unbelievable and then a couple of the people who were volunteers they just kind of came a couple
00:29:44.820 of the women they came and they just they they hugged they put their arms around each other and
00:29:49.480 i'm telling you i watch it i heard it right in front of my eyes they wept out loud they wept
00:29:54.420 out loud when people are grieving just to hear what they heard they were sobbing out loud on
00:29:59.980 each other's shoulders this is the kind of stuff that these guys were saddled with and that it's a
00:30:05.860 huge responsibility that to kind of now take that apart talk about it and then suggest what do you
00:30:12.320 call it what did you call it again recommendations and i mean it's just it's really really huge and
00:30:17.040 so when Ken was writing the report, he did not have a summer. Last summer, he didn't have a
00:30:21.100 summer. I'm not even kidding. We have a boat, never got launched, nothing.
00:30:25.420 Was there any decompression time, Ken? Because you
00:30:28.900 finished the hearings and then immediately had to start working on the report to get it out
00:30:32.900 when you wanted to get it out, right? Yeah, the day we got
00:30:37.040 back, I was full-time in the office writing the report,
00:30:41.120 and we were the ones, or I guess I was the one who set November 28th.
00:30:44.880 Everybody thought it was crazy.
00:30:46.880 You never get something like that done in that amount of time.
00:30:49.800 And normally they wouldn't.
00:30:51.620 But, you know, we worked day and night on that thing.
00:30:54.640 Well, you felt you owed it to the people.
00:30:55.880 We owed it, yeah.
00:30:56.960 And so when you ask, you know, what's behind this conference,
00:31:00.600 this is what's behind the conference.
00:31:02.340 I mean, you know, there's not some big organization behind this.
00:31:05.400 I'll tell you what, it's Rosalie and Ken that are writing checks for this right now.
00:31:09.740 You know, we've rented halls.
00:31:11.120 We've got David Lynn doing the AV.
00:31:13.360 he was the one that did the av and and and for the nci we've got uh music we've got meals already
00:31:20.640 planned and we're the ones writing the checks for this we're not asking for donations we're
00:31:25.460 we're asking folks to buy a ticket come on in and the tickets are really inexpensive but yes we are
00:31:32.620 asking for donations but well from from sponsors yeah so we've got some tables but you know we're
00:31:38.500 the ones footing this and if it falls flat if people don't come out it's we're we're going to
00:31:42.640 be holding the bag on it and and we think that's our responsibility to do that okay so speaking of
00:31:49.000 sponsors i mean you guys hear me talk about kevin and anna all the time canada nano silver and i
00:31:56.340 haven't really brought kev on so much there's one time that kev was on the show during the
00:32:00.740 freedom convoy a couple of years ago you did this fantastic report uh from i think right in the
00:32:07.540 streets you put that video out following those two kids who were picking up garbage in the street
00:32:12.460 downtown kev uh which that was on wellington that was fantastic you were there with anna so
00:32:19.020 you sent me an email actually he sent me a text you know what the text said i sent you an email
00:32:24.900 so then i gotta go i gotta go okay why didn't you just tell me in the text so i go back and i start
00:32:30.280 looking in the email blah blah blah so why don't you come on tonight he goes i can't i said why
00:32:34.240 don't you okay i'm not coming so then an hour later you know what i rethought it i'm coming
00:32:38.480 on tonight so kev here you are you you and ken uh ken and rosalie have been talking uh exactly what
00:32:46.480 have you guys got cooked up here well i'd like to mention a few things first before i get into that
00:32:52.080 you know we had on the silver do our best to promote the products from silverseuticals and
00:32:57.760 silver biotics um the most tested and studied nano silver products in the world i believe uh
00:33:05.360 There's all kinds of new applications, new products and stuff coming out all the time.
00:33:09.220 As for example, Silver Suicols last week brought out a new document for agricultural applications for farmers.
00:33:20.000 And so some of the stuff that it can be used for is scours, which in animals kills lots of cattle, horses, rabbits.
00:33:30.900 necrotic
00:33:33.940 enteritis in broiler
00:33:36.020 chickens, lung infections in horses
00:33:38.200 and racehorses, and they actually use
00:33:40.480 the
00:33:42.260 nano-silver in a nebulizer
00:33:44.480 in racehorses to protect their lungs.
00:33:47.580 So now they're actually
00:33:48.280 coming up with barrels and
00:33:49.820 totes
00:33:51.460 where they can spray down large areas
00:33:54.340 to decontaminate large
00:33:56.260 areas like for moles and stuff like that
00:33:58.400 so they don't get their infections
00:33:59.580 and stuff like that gel products like for wounds uh any kind of scrapes or whatever there's a in
00:34:06.440 the brochure there's a big patch of a horse you know lost his skin in a few months was grown right
00:34:12.820 back so anyhow just thought i'd mention that quickly because we totally believe in the products
00:34:18.600 and we believe in what ken and rosalie are doing and everybody else that are watching the show
00:34:23.840 well you believe in truth and freedom and that's why you've been with this show for so long and i
00:34:28.940 want to thank you and anna kev for your support over the past few years it's been absolutely
00:34:33.500 crucial to the continued existence of this broadcast just so you're aware um and people
00:34:41.020 need to know that you are you guys are real people and that you are based here in canada and that you
00:34:47.700 believe in the cause and you believe in the movement and your products are good and you stand
00:34:51.580 behind them oh we do of course uh the freedom thing i kind of moved a little bit away from the
00:34:57.440 freedom thing i started the truth seeker let's yes seekers yep exactly let's find out where our
00:35:04.280 freedoms went through the truth you know well that's you know i mean that's what ken had been
00:35:09.800 doing for the past few years is getting the truth out there so what have you guys got cooked up here
00:35:14.520 what what exactly is going to happen yeah so what i'm going to say is uh or offer we had canada
00:35:20.140 and silver along with all of our customers along with our customer support we're like to sponsor
00:35:25.760 Manitoba Stronger Together conference
00:35:27.760 coming in June. What we'll
00:35:29.820 offer to the conference funding is
00:35:31.740 to donate $2 per item
00:35:33.740 sold on our websites and
00:35:35.520 what's generated through our
00:35:37.080 invoicing system manually
00:35:38.900 to the conference
00:35:41.040 and
00:35:42.540 that'll be all done the whole
00:35:45.680 month of May. So every item that's
00:35:47.840 sold through the month of May will be
00:35:49.700 $2 going to Ken and Rosalie.
00:35:52.380 Wow. I do have to
00:35:53.780 say that we all know that the economy is not
00:35:55.740 that great and we're all being bent under the strain of financial issues right but we do really
00:36:01.000 have to try our best to support the shadow davis show and events such as manitola stronger together
00:36:06.900 conference because you know what we all want to do well by doing good right yes thank you i agree
00:36:14.780 thank you very much very generous you know we on a side we use silver products we really yeah i
00:36:21.240 just found out about that yesterday from you a surprise oh yeah we do we love them yeah yeah
00:36:27.280 and you know something else i'm one of those people that are susceptible to some of those
00:36:32.340 new things that are out right now you know silver suit is telling me more all those other kinds of
00:36:38.040 things you know it's interesting ken and rosalie you were talking about going back and forth across
00:36:43.560 the country uh with the nci and and everything and i think kevin you and anna have been across
00:36:49.100 the country a few times yourselves these past couple of years you've been out to ottawa you
00:36:53.660 went out to swift current for the chris barber thing and i know that you've been to a few other
00:36:57.980 events across the country as well you truly believe in this movement do you feel like uh
00:37:03.820 we're moving in the right direction right now or or we spin in our wheels a bit i i don't know i
00:37:10.380 don't really think we're spinning our wheels i think like i say the economy is really crunching
00:37:15.420 on people and they're really having a hard time to uh come out to the events to support us even
00:37:21.220 in the rallies and stuff um like the border we went to the ontario border saskatchewan border
00:37:26.440 two weekends in a row and the attendance in saskatchewan is pretty good ontario is fairly
00:37:31.660 poor but it's a fair distance to drive people are you know strapped for cash and stuff gas
00:37:37.620 but like i say if you don't stand up put gas in your tank now and come out and help
00:37:43.300 you won't have no gas later and you're lucky if you don't have a car yeah yeah exactly or you know
00:37:50.460 your car is going to be electric or and it'll be run by driven by somebody in a central hub
00:37:55.900 somewhere 500 5 000 miles away um so anyway you were saying no i'm just saying like people have
00:38:04.940 to start to stand up and like i also said to another person i says you know some people sit
00:38:09.380 on the sofa eating popcorn watching all of us do what we do but soon they're not going to have
00:38:14.660 popcorn either you know it's it's very difficult for me to say those things thank you by the way
00:38:20.180 kev for your support and thank you for coming on tonight and thank you for your generous offer
00:38:24.480 to uh ken and rosalie here with the uh stronger together conference which we're going to get into
00:38:29.140 i want to start giving out some details so thank you kev again really appreciate
00:38:32.760 We'll see you at the conference.
00:38:33.920 We'll stay in touch.
00:38:34.400 We'll stay in touch yet.
00:38:35.280 Yep, absolutely.
00:38:36.640 Have a good one.
00:38:37.540 Yeah, thank you.
00:38:37.900 Yeah, you guys too.
00:38:39.000 So how can we, and I want to dovetail this into the conference, you guys.
00:38:46.620 How can we motivate people?
00:38:49.900 Is it going to take something to happen to them before they decide to get off their duffs?
00:38:57.660 And I'll tell you why I ask this.
00:38:59.420 There was a couple of years ago, there was something going on at the Forks.
00:39:02.360 I forget exactly what it was, but there was 3,000 people or so there.
00:39:07.320 Maybe it was a Chris Sky event.
00:39:08.540 I can't remember, but I was standing there in the crowd talking to people and one guy
00:39:12.800 just kind of sauntered over to me just, you know, with his hands in his pockets and he
00:39:16.620 said, Hey shadow, how's it going?
00:39:18.340 And I said, Hey, how's it going?
00:39:19.940 And we started talking and he said, you know, um, I have you to blame for me being here
00:39:26.740 today.
00:39:27.100 I said, blame? He said, well, you know, you made me feel like I need to do more. And that made me
00:39:35.560 feel good because when one person says that to you, you know there's maybe a hundred or even a
00:39:40.340 thousand people who are feeling the same way and doing the same things. But I don't know exactly
00:39:44.960 what it was I said to him. I said, what did I say? And he said, I can't remember exactly what it was,
00:39:50.700 but it worked. And I said, man, if I remember what, if he had remembered what I said, I would
00:39:54.380 have used it over and over and over again. What is it that we have to do to get people to respond
00:40:00.820 to these events? Well, you know, it's an interesting thing. People, part of the problem
00:40:09.960 is that people want to watch the same episode of Gilligan's Island every night over and over again
00:40:14.860 and they don't want to leave their homes. That's part of the problem. But a bigger part of the
00:40:18.720 problem has to do with disappointment it has to do with non-confidence you don't have confidence
00:40:25.560 in yourself why don't people vote they don't think it matters and as you know we we can prove to you
00:40:31.060 how much it matters and and and and demonstrate that with numbers um so people you know they hear
00:40:38.140 what's going on or they hear you're going to do this and you see it on social media all the time
00:40:42.200 right i mean you can't you can't imagine you know people are so downtrodden and they're always
00:40:47.880 they're always suspicious you know you can't shadow you don't know how many times i've been
00:40:52.820 told on the social media probably thousands of times that the only reason i did the nci
00:40:57.720 was for the money and you didn't get paid anything we talked about this on friday
00:41:03.580 yeah and just so people know my contract for nci was a dollar uh for 1500 hours of writing
00:41:11.280 writing the report and two and a half months on the road and i haven't gotten paid the dollar yet
00:41:16.000 You never heard this before, did you?
00:41:17.340 No, you never heard this before, Shadow.
00:41:19.220 But that's where people go immediately.
00:41:21.940 You know, when we announced this conference online, there was some fellow come out and he just is pecking at it like a woodpecker.
00:41:28.280 And he's saying, oh, you know, it's another one of these things where they got their hand out looking for money.
00:41:33.060 Well, and the same thing happened, if you recall, when we did the demonstration at the RCMP.
00:41:39.840 And people accused me of doing it to sell T-shirts or some stupid thing.
00:41:44.200 And you witnessed what happened with that thing yourself.
00:41:47.340 Yeah, I was there.
00:41:48.380 So people are disappointed.
00:41:51.600 They're suspicious of everything.
00:41:53.160 And they should be.
00:41:53.940 I mean, after all, the government executed their relatives, in my opinion.
00:42:00.220 They're distracted.
00:42:02.160 They're scared.
00:42:03.060 People are scared.
00:42:04.360 And I think the way out of that, and I'm starting to see it happen with Manitoba Stronger Together.
00:42:08.360 You know, when we started this Manitoba Stronger Together thing, you know, people were signing up because they were kind of curious.
00:42:14.200 and trying to get them to do anything was difficult.
00:42:16.460 But we've been creating this community.
00:42:20.980 You know, we have our own inside little things
00:42:23.360 and we have our own little jokes.
00:42:25.240 And now when I'm asking for people to get involved,
00:42:28.160 guess what?
00:42:29.080 They are.
00:42:30.360 I mean, just as an example,
00:42:32.560 there's a school board by-election,
00:42:35.160 as you know, coming up on June 6th.
00:42:37.040 And three people from our members have volunteered.
00:42:39.820 They're going to run.
00:42:40.980 Really?
00:42:42.080 Absolutely.
00:42:42.520 we have oh that's great news that's great news now the organization is not doing it but the
00:42:48.140 members through having information from us are doing this on their own so so the first thing
00:42:54.760 you have to do is you have to build this community you know like what we were talking about earlier
00:42:58.920 and and i see that coming together in manitoba stronger together and again that's what this
00:43:03.740 conference is about to create community and and you don't trust somebody on a postage stamp on
00:43:08.880 a computer screen right you you trust them when you as you said when you're in the same room
00:43:12.720 you have something else to say too i always have something else i'm noticing
00:43:19.060 it's good it's good okay you first no no go ahead you got the floor babe okay all right well you
00:43:29.200 know there's a song from way back i don't know if anybody remembers it but it's called it it only
00:43:34.400 takes a spark to get a fire going and the the title of the song is pass it on so i think with
00:43:41.480 this conference we want to you know restart the spark somehow i after four years people are weary
00:43:48.540 and i think they feel they still feel a little helpless but instead of looking for okay what
00:43:54.360 can i do where's the opportunity they kind of recoil and we've heard we've i'm sure you we
00:43:58.800 talked about chris guy not to pass any judgment he did a lot of work but a lot of people just
00:44:03.260 kind of like in the in the in the woods or whatever of the thing are talking about an exit
00:44:09.560 plan where am I going to go if this doesn't start getting better an exit plan because they're very
00:44:13.880 very discouraged and in fact today I had an appointment I was talking to the person they're
00:44:17.760 completely enlightened they know what's going on they believe they've been clued in right from the
00:44:22.560 start but she was saying you know what uh we got an exit plan and I said where are you going well
00:44:27.500 they, they, they really enjoyed their, their holiday to Thailand.
00:44:32.020 So that was going to go. And I said, well, look at, she said, you know,
00:44:35.680 the Western countries. I said, cool, but the Western countries fall.
00:44:42.200 They're going to come after you in Thailand.
00:44:43.940 God, what's the hell I'm going to do for you? Like we're, you know,
00:44:46.080 we have to stand where we are. We have to stand together.
00:44:49.340 So that's why even the together, the stronger together.
00:44:52.280 um but i think that even we as canadians i mean we're really smart people we're sharp we're smart
00:44:59.640 we've got so much on the ball but we're so well mannered that we kind of step back with the whole
00:45:05.320 i'm sorry sorry sorry sorry it's right like it's almost laughable on the world stage and i'm not
00:45:09.900 saying be rude but we gotta kind of step forward and just start being a little more vocal and i
00:45:15.880 think when we come together and see that hey we're not the only ones and yeah you agree yeah
00:45:19.940 you know we're going to be and we're going to be classy about it that's another thing i want to say
00:45:23.120 none of this screaming freedom and running around that's not what we're doing here we're not this
00:45:28.260 is going to be part of what we're doing is we're taking it up several notches respect for people
00:45:34.320 that are standing up and saying so far no more respect for one another respect for what you're
00:45:38.980 doing respect for what we're doing respect for the the exchange of ideas uh and just knowing that the
00:45:46.660 the person who's there i mean i'm kind of reiterating what but i think that's what it is
00:45:50.280 it's that's why to me this is like a like a reigniting the the pilot lighter getting the
00:45:55.340 flame going again yeah yeah absolutely and and you know we're already seeing it happening already
00:46:01.080 because personal experience uh there was uh our group manitoba stronger together at least
00:46:08.140 the two founders of it had an issue with another group out east sometime ago and it wasn't
00:46:12.960 It was just because the two groups were, you know, we started Kevin or Chris Riddell and I started in a different group.
00:46:20.360 And as that group branched off into areas we weren't comfortable with, we separated and started Manitoba Stronger Together.
00:46:27.160 And there's been there's been a separation between those two groups for for almost a year now.
00:46:34.160 And you know what? Based on this conference, I picked up the phone last night and I phoned the leader over there.
00:46:41.160 and i said listen i'd be a hypocrite if i didn't make this phone call and they're coming and it's
00:46:47.700 you know this is another thing that maybe we we haven't touched on is the pride factor here i think
00:46:53.020 there's a lot of people who maybe did something and they got called out for it and they got angry
00:46:59.960 and their pride was hurt and they just removed themselves from the situation because of that
00:47:07.060 and now they're too prideful to make that phone call to say hey look you know what maybe i was
00:47:11.260 wrong maybe we both said some things we regret and we should probably be working together on this
00:47:16.460 was was that that phone call for you oh yeah you know i mean and i have to say when i made that
00:47:22.240 phone call the fellow on the other end of the line was so great you know as soon as he saw it
00:47:27.880 was me and he picked up the phone he said ken you know i miss you we haven't talked for so long and
00:47:32.480 and we had a great discussion and they're all in and you know and it wasn't you know what
00:47:41.220 i hear this all over the country it's not that they disagree on something big you know it's just
00:47:47.520 that they want to do something a little bit different it's like there's not just one hamburger
00:47:51.580 restaurant in town you know there's hundreds of them because everybody cooks it a little differently
00:47:55.360 and everybody wants it the way they want it but it doesn't mean you're all you know you're not
00:47:59.220 all the same thing you're not all hamburgers and sometimes these little things particularly in
00:48:03.940 these in these freedom movements if you want to call it i don't like that term i think we're
00:48:08.500 reconstructionists by the way that was a term that we were going to talk to you about at lunch
00:48:13.520 yeah reconstruction we're reconstructionists and i like that what do i mean by that that means
00:48:19.640 if you're going to hop in the car and go to calgary doesn't make you a calgarian right
00:48:24.540 the destinations in calgary what you're doing is traveling well the destination here is democracy
00:48:29.800 and freedom and so what we have to do before we get there is we have to reconstruct our institutions
00:48:34.840 and our democracy and then we'll get freedom so we're really reconstructionists so we're going
00:48:40.200 to build back better we're going to well we're going to build back our institutions
00:48:47.220 and restore trust to them so tell us exactly when where all the details of the conference
00:48:56.400 how we can find it let's let's give everybody uh all the information they need first all the
00:49:02.220 information is on the manitoba stronger together website so that's www manitobastrongertogether.ca
00:49:09.320 there's a little tab at the top that says events and you click on that and it gives you
00:49:14.240 all of the information you would want to know there's posters there's a video we actually have
00:49:19.760 a a a video with a soundtrack on it um musical soundtrack can you do a teaser or is that gonna
00:49:25.840 i i don't know how to do it oh teaser for the teaser yeah and it and it tells you know what's
00:49:33.000 behind this why we're doing it it's um uh it's uh the it's being held june 21st 22nd 23rd of 24 of
00:49:41.800 24 at the Broken Head Community Hall, which is in Beaux-sur-Jour. It's a beautiful facility,
00:49:47.860 holds 875 people. Now, we should tell everybody here, because we have people watching from coast
00:49:54.180 to coast to coast here, that Beaux-sur-Jour is maybe a 25-minute drive from Winnipeg. So it's
00:50:01.040 not like it's hours and hours and hours away. It's close by. It's a peaceful, serene country
00:50:07.380 location it's a bedroom community of the larger area it is right um and it's a beautiful facility
00:50:14.660 we had a live event there in january one of your favorite spots yeah and um so it's at the broken
00:50:21.540 head community center uh right now tickets are not yet on sale but we're holding pre-registration
00:50:27.040 tickets will go on sale um in about two days a three-day uh pass for the entire conference which
00:50:35.880 includes five meals is um two hundred and forty nine dollars a day pass is one hundred and forty
00:50:43.780 nine dollars uh we also have a display booth for other organizations like if you're an or a freedom
00:50:51.500 organization in Quebec or or or Moncton or Vancouver uh where we have a display booths
00:50:58.220 that you can rent they're like a hundred dollars for the three days which is incredible that's
00:51:02.880 really low i mean this is very very low priced i have to say that's part of the incentive we
00:51:09.320 want people to come because we understand travel costs we understand hotels and all of that and
00:51:14.020 that's all we have sorry to interject here but we also have uh hotel ideas and we've like booked
00:51:19.320 some rooms for you know there's all kinds of things yeah and it's all on the website and
00:51:23.220 the agenda is just jam-packed i'll tell you we have three panels uh discussions and what that is
00:51:30.160 is beyond be a stage there'll be some comfy chairs and a table and there'll be four or so five
00:51:35.720 panelists who are experts in their area and shadows hosting that or refereeing it however
00:51:40.760 you want to look at it yeah a little bit of both probably yeah about that and when you go on the
00:51:46.980 website the three panels are reclaiming our education system subtitled empowering parents
00:51:52.700 and communities second one is uh litigating for liberty legal challenges to government overreach
00:51:59.360 Third one is navigating the media landscape, communicating in a hostile environment.
00:52:04.680 And the fourth one is building resilient communities, grassroots, Activision and local solutions.
00:52:09.920 Now, we've got some pretty big names who are going to be sitting on those on those panels.
00:52:14.900 We have I'm just going to take a look at my notes here.
00:52:17.420 We have Rodney Palmer, who's coming in.
00:52:19.860 He's going to sit on the media panel.
00:52:22.680 Rick Abbott, he's a Edmonton police officer who was fired for for going down and visiting the protesters.
00:52:31.440 David Lease from the Frontier Center.
00:52:33.740 We have Vincent Gersey, who's one of the people in the accountability project who are suing the federal government right now.
00:52:41.260 Serena Freedom Bearer is coming from Victoria.
00:52:44.860 Dr. Bernard Massey is coming from Quebec and he's with ReInfo in Quebec.
00:52:50.860 We're going to have a, I believe we're going to have quite a contingent there also.
00:52:54.880 And this is incredible, but Tammy Rip Moat is organizing a convoy from Vancouver to Winnipeg.
00:53:02.840 So if you want to drive in the convoy, a convoy, we'll be advertising that shortly.
00:53:07.660 Now, in addition to all of that, and there's more, we have a session called frontline perspectives.
00:53:15.540 and what it is is we're getting 10 representatives from 10 different freedom organizations across
00:53:21.100 the country they have 10 minutes to tell what they're all about how you can contact them what
00:53:26.000 they're doing what are the challenges what are the wins and then the next one and the next one
00:53:29.700 and next one and chris riddell is going to uh referee that one which will be an interesting
00:53:34.980 we have uh speak uh keynote speakers we haven't announced yet but we're talking some really
00:53:41.160 interesting really interesting people wally larson is going to be doing music on saturday night
00:53:47.080 with a big zone although he's in alberta right now no no oh sorry california right now
00:53:54.840 we have um we have a a dinner uh on friday night and another dinner on saturday night all the meals
00:54:02.680 in between um we have our service to row there's bar service on the on the well on the friday night
00:54:08.740 well yeah that's what i should say but several hours and and we've got a special performance
00:54:13.820 of a of this of the um of the the soundtrack we've done rosalie has performed a uh a uh
00:54:22.320 and sheena ratai have performed a um a uh a theme music for it it's called um people get ready
00:54:30.920 it's in our promotional video on our website but also when you're looking at the agenda
00:54:35.600 on Friday night you'll see a little arrow
00:54:37.600 and you can listen to the entire song there
00:54:39.560 so that's
00:54:41.600 going to be on that night you'll see
00:54:43.080 and we've also got some other little surprises
00:54:45.780 that have kind of come out
00:54:47.820 that
00:54:49.560 we'll be talking about so that website gets
00:54:51.580 updated almost daily
00:54:52.900 can I just say something about that people get ready the reason why we
00:54:55.520 use that song we just happen to have done it
00:54:57.500 and all of a sudden we thought hey those are really good
00:54:59.600 lyrics for a theme for this
00:55:01.120 so people get ready there's a train of coming
00:55:03.520 you don't need no bag
00:55:05.260 is just get on board yeah so get on the train people that's the whole idea don't leave your
00:55:09.700 baggage behind and to your point about the you know sometimes the whatever they're not getting
00:55:16.340 along with certain people there's no time for that get on board because we've got to keep our
00:55:22.420 eye on the ball you know i just wanted to mention one other thing we have two big projection screens
00:55:27.680 there in the facility with two computer projectors and what we're asking freedom groups to do is to
00:55:33.960 send us a two or three minute video or slideshow and we're going to loop it all and be playing on
00:55:39.660 these giant screens through the weekend as well wow that's great that's right this is going to be
00:55:45.660 a really tightly highly well organized event this is not going to be lag time sitting around you
00:55:53.120 know what's next no no no there's it's going to be like clockwork it's going to be boom boom boom
00:55:57.240 and it's not going to be boring yeah 249 for three days and five meals folks and i'll tell you
00:56:03.600 something that will not cover the cost that's why we're looking for sponsors you know we we need to
00:56:09.100 we need to cap that off um because we wanted to keep the ticket price low a lot of folks
00:56:14.300 uh they're they're strapped for cash they're they you know over half of that cost that 249
00:56:20.420 is food it's the food service well you're providing five meals and all of the information
00:56:28.180 and, you know, all of the entertainment
00:56:30.460 and, I mean,
00:56:32.280 have you thought about maybe shuttle
00:56:34.240 services from Bozinger
00:56:36.220 already? And
00:56:38.160 we're also going to provide gluten
00:56:40.320 free. Absolutely.
00:56:43.200 He's not of everything.
00:56:44.780 That's fantastic.
00:56:46.380 I think there's even vegetarian stuff going on, but
00:56:48.360 we'll see. So, all
00:56:50.320 of the information is at
00:56:52.180 Manitoba Stronger Together.
00:56:53.780 The website.
00:56:54.700 Yeah, www.manitobastrongertogether.ca under events.
00:57:01.980 And by the way, folks, it's being updated daily.
00:57:05.500 Like we're as people, we've confirmed a lot of the panel people
00:57:10.580 and the guest speakers, and we're announcing them almost pretty much daily.
00:57:14.700 We're making changes.
00:57:15.280 There are more than, Ken rattled off a bunch of names,
00:57:17.420 but there are more in process.
00:57:20.200 Names that people would obviously recognize.
00:57:22.900 I mean, I definitely recognize a few of the names that you threw out there.
00:57:26.740 Are you expecting?
00:57:28.440 The other thing is, is that when you, for instance, when you go to the website and you go to the agenda and you look at panel one, you'll see it's blue highlighted and underlined.
00:57:37.980 If you click on it, it opens up a window.
00:57:40.360 It tells you exactly what the panel's about and it tells you who's on that panel and all of their names are clickable.
00:57:47.460 So, for instance, I'm just looking at the panel on reclaiming our education system.
00:57:52.240 it says moderator shadow davis when you click on shadow davis's name it takes you to his website
00:57:56.720 oh the other speakers are like that as well cool i should i should probably do that for for the
00:58:04.100 website on my website so people can come back to manitobastrongertogether.ca are you expecting
00:58:11.620 875 people we're going to say yes well we're but we are and we're we've actually we're looking at
00:58:20.280 the budget uh and we're we're we're trying to balance this around 500 or so attendees we have
00:58:27.080 the capacity for 875 and like i said at about 500 we're at a stage where we need you know we need
00:58:35.680 around 30 to 50 thousand dollars worth of sponsors to to get us even we're not in this to make money
00:58:41.700 on it folks and and by the way all the money is being is being handled by peter debonham who is
00:58:47.900 a retired independent uh uh certified accountant and we will be publishing the accounts so everybody
00:58:55.180 knows where the money went yeah because i'm not touching the money you did not want to hear the
00:59:00.060 question where's the money going where's the money going i i understand that uh 100 percent
00:59:07.060 you know what guys i mean i think that this is a fantastic initiative and i really appreciate you
00:59:12.900 putting your own time and finances on the line to bring canadians together like this
00:59:19.600 there's not many people that would do that so thank you well you know we've been blessed we
00:59:26.660 we we we also are have the responsibility of having six children and five grandchildren
00:59:33.040 and that weighs on you but we have been blessed so that we can you know we can take certain
00:59:38.720 certain we can stretch your necks out a little you know I think this might speak to people also
00:59:43.560 just like if you just rise up to the challenge you know it's not like we weren't looking for
00:59:47.600 this believe me we you know we weren't but you know things come up you're okay what can I do
00:59:52.400 like it started with that 89 page report and then it went on to this and it went on to that
00:59:56.120 but it also takes you know commitment to you know wanting to see this thing through to the end like
01:00:03.600 at what point when you get started do you do you opt out you know so i guess maybe that's what
01:00:09.200 intimidates people as well but i mean i guess if you see the gravity of the thing that we we do
01:00:15.640 have our freedom to save we have our country to save we we want to be able to continue
01:00:20.440 i mean we got there's the future ahead of us and we're only here for so long so we're going to do
01:00:25.640 what we can and i gotta tell you something as time goes on shadow i gotta say at first i i had a lot
01:00:31.360 of fear i thought you know are they gonna come put ken in prison are they gonna i mean i mean
01:00:35.620 are they gonna come get us i mean i was worried about that there was that fear and i'm not saying
01:00:40.140 that fear is gone but uh as time goes on i'm less afraid i really am i am i am not trying to be
01:00:47.660 a big man when i say that i i because the words i'm of the opinion words matter and our words
01:00:53.400 that we speak matter very much and when i say that i'm not saying it glibly but i'm like a lot
01:01:00.640 less afraid now than i ever have been gotta go for it gotta go for it is there ever a moment
01:01:06.360 honestly thank you for what you do too just so folks know when i phoned shadow up out of the
01:01:12.560 blue and asked him for lunch and we started talking about it i don't think i got half the
01:01:18.860 words out of my mouth when he said i'll be there yeah there was no invitation yeah i i'm very
01:01:25.300 excited about this i i you know i love seeing people come together and and i i want to ask you
01:01:31.480 uh both i just had an internet glitch pardon me i i want to ask you both i'm not sure if you can
01:01:37.700 see me i'll i'll be rejoining soon if you if not i i just had an internet glitch here on my end so
01:01:45.400 um i want to ask you when you talk about opting out you said rosalie just a couple of minutes
01:01:50.480 ago you said that phrase opting out not that you plan to do it but we you know chris sky has done
01:01:55.760 it at least for now temporarily is there ever a moment you could see yourself saying okay okay
01:02:02.000 uncle i'm done and then looking to answer that question i mean well look at you know
01:02:10.080 you could only you could only stand on a soapbox and yell by yourself for so long
01:02:14.800 um and and when i say you know we want need people to participate i don't mean that you attend the
01:02:22.240 zoom call or that you you put a little check mark on a on a social media post you know even getting
01:02:28.700 folks to share posts you know you on a social media you go you have you have these little
01:02:33.860 thumbs up well if you thought it was thumbs up why didn't you share it why didn't you share it
01:02:39.200 to your social media and and even those little things like i'm not i'm not expecting somebody
01:02:44.560 to come up and start writing checks to put on a conference you know we're we're the crazy people
01:02:49.340 who are doing that but what about sharing stuff on your social media what about standing in line
01:02:54.860 at costco and saying to the person in front of you hey have you heard anything about that stronger
01:02:59.740 together conference you don't have to say more than that you know how about how about it's easy
01:03:05.280 to give out those cards yeah we have all these cards manageable stronger together cards i mean

01:03:15.980 thank you yeah i like the colors they're admiring that jeep you are criticizing that yes and i still
01:03:23.960 am well you know it's it's an interesting thing it doesn't take much and to answer your question
01:03:30.860 those kinds of things and it might not make sense to folks who haven't been in this situation but
01:03:36.840 seeing people participating and seeing people even just sharing something that you're doing
01:03:42.020 really buoys you up and if you're if you think you're sitting in a dark cave somewhere and
01:03:47.440 you're just whistling into the dark that makes it really difficult but if folks are actually
01:03:51.500 participating you know join a zoom call and leave your camera on for gosh sake yeah so we can that's
01:03:58.900 a good start yeah you know we rosalie had a meeting the other day about whatever it was and
01:04:03.660 and some new person joined and rosalie said well you know everybody here's got the cameras on can
01:04:08.360 you turn your camera on it ain't likely but cut off gone i was kind of a meeting you know i know
01:04:14.840 he said that that's not gonna happen so i was like bye you know people if you want to participate
01:04:22.820 you don't have to start spending thousands of dollars or millions of hours just share something
01:04:28.700 just come to a meeting you know buy a 249 dollar ticket gosh you know i went to a&w
01:04:35.160 i went to a&w a couple months ago and bought a hamburger and fries and it was 35 bucks
01:04:39.740 right we're getting five meals for this for gosh sakes and all the information and all the more
01:04:46.560 than anything it's the meeting of each other that we're facilitating i mean the food yeah we're
01:04:52.020 gonna make it we're that's gonna be good we've got music all these things but it's the meeting
01:04:55.800 is hey how you doing yeah so where are you from oh yeah ha ha ha that was a funny joke you know
