00:12:04.840that is northmain trucking.com all right please welcome to the show the former owner proprietor
00:12:11.760of a place called jack tuesdays in kingston ontario kelly hale kelly you got some great
00:12:16.840news on monday i want to cover that in just a second but first welcome to the show and thank
00:12:20.540you for coming on tonight really appreciate it yeah thanks for having me shadow it's a pleasure
00:12:24.680to be on your show my friend okay so um tell us what the what the what the hell happened on Monday
00:12:31.580because you were in a battle with these guys for the longest time yeah well the battle started back
00:12:36.580in September of 2021 so uh trial on Monday we'll backtrack a bit Friday the prosecutor for the city
00:12:44.300of Kingston called me and wanted to make a deal so I'm automatically thinking prosecutors don't
00:12:50.520call and make deals if they have a slam dunk case against you why would they want to make a deal
00:12:54.380so i had 10 counts against me uh eight of them were with the reopening act of ontario
00:13:00.940and the covid measures count nine was uh inhibiting or prohibiting bylaw for doing their
00:13:09.120job because i had a no trespassing sign on my front door so they basically said you can't come
00:13:13.680without a warrant they came in anyways uh and count 10 was operating with a suspended business
00:13:19.420license so the first two tickets they gave me on September 24th of 2021 were not enforcing the
00:13:26.500Vax passports and not enforcing masking which I never did any of the time during the pandemic so
00:13:31.840that started everything you know so it was it was crazy so they were willing to to drop the first
00:13:38.740nine counts and have me plead guilty just to operating with suspended business license
00:13:43.460so I'm thinking what's the trickery here and when I thought about it I couldn't plead to that because
00:13:49.200my business license was taken away because of my non-compliance to the reopening act of ontario
00:13:54.620and it would have tied directly into the public health appeal i have for the closure order and
00:13:58.660it would have wiped everything away so i said no said if you're not going to drop all 10 charges
00:14:04.440we'll see and we'll see you in trial on monday so we went to trial not long into the trial she
00:14:09.720wanted to go to a breakout room and see if we could pass out a deal again and when we got there
00:14:15.200I said, I am willing to make a deal with you, but here's what I want.
00:14:19.100You drop nine counts, I'll plead guilty to count nine, which is operating or inhibiting bylaw from coming into my business,
00:14:25.320which has nothing to do with the Reopening Act, nothing to do with the COVID measures.
00:14:28.900I could add that trespassing, no trespassing sign up 10 years ago, even before the pandemic.
00:14:33.560So it had no tie in to the Reopening Act tickets that I got.
00:14:39.280But Kelly, I mean, are they allowed to just barge into your place of business without a warrant like that?
00:14:45.200well no they're not and that's that sign obviously had some merit to it or why were they trying to
00:14:52.100make a deal and drop all these charges the prosecutor tried to say it was because it wasn't
00:14:55.780the public interest anymore because the pandemic is over you know the measures have gone we see
00:15:01.220to move on it's almost like that amnesty thing right you know we did all this to you but let's
00:15:05.020just forget about it now the mootness thing that courts have been ruling all across the country
00:15:09.320well it's no longer a thing so it's moot move on next but no you were you were not willing to drop
00:15:14.500it which is great thank you no and i stood my ground from day one uh i wasn't going to back
00:15:19.740down and standing my ground was the only way you know with integrity and the morals that i have i
00:15:24.640wasn't going to back down i knew everything they were doing was illegal i knew it was illegal for
00:15:28.380me to ask for personal medical information uh so i just said no and this is where we got to now so
00:15:34.660it's been quite the ride that's for sure shadow that must have been some news after all this
00:15:39.920all this fighting and tension and and you know probably lack of sleep I'm sure this has not
00:15:45.320been good for your physical health I'm not I'm sure it's not been good for your relationships
00:15:48.980with people and uh whatnot so what a relief and what an elation to get that news on Monday
00:15:54.760yeah it was it was nice uh it was it was a weight off my shoulders but I won't lie I mean the good
00:16:00.900Lord has carried me through this battle and it hasn't really been as a heavy burden as I thought
00:16:06.120it was i didn't realize how heavy the burden was till after monday when they dropped those charges
00:16:10.160and it was it was a big weight off my shoulders but i didn't really realize it when i was going
00:16:15.720through the battles because i just knew i had to stick it out and i knew that things would get
00:16:18.780taken care of you know kelly i ask this of everybody uh who's in a position like you are
00:16:25.960or were and that is what was your awakening moment when did you realize hey wait a minute this this
00:16:33.280is going too far these guys are intruding in my personal life and my business life and
00:16:37.840that's enough already well i'd done enough research through the through the lockdowns
00:16:44.660into many many things i've i've always been searching and trying to do figure things out
00:16:51.520i've done a lot of research that way and when they were talking about this virus coming out
00:16:56.820some of the research i had done i knew that wuhan was where they first launched worldwide 5g
00:17:04.700so knew that i just in my heart i knew this was related to 5g somehow and i knew it wasn't what
00:17:11.020they were telling us that it was so when this all started i just said no it's not right something's
00:17:16.380not right here i smell a rat and i just i went with my instinct and my critical thinking skills
00:17:21.440and I just stood up to it and here we are. Was that right at the beginning or was that when we
00:17:27.100just started hearing rumblings of this weirdness coming out of China or was it when they finally
00:17:33.120decided to shut us all down in March of 2020? That's well then when they did that in March of
00:17:38.0602020 I knew that this I knew something was wrong I knew it wasn't right so I knew like I and
00:17:44.900obviously being shut down at first I wasn't you know I was locked down eight out of eight out of
00:17:50.44018 months during that first part of all the lockdown so it wasn't till and the funny thing
00:17:56.020was I I predicted every lockdown within days when they were going to do something next right and it
00:18:02.080wasn't really a prediction they tell us in advance what they're going to do so I just through
00:18:05.480researching and looking for what they're doing I could predict it and I and really shadow I got
00:18:11.140to a point like many businesses did that that had to close the financial burden was was was getting
00:18:16.680to be too much and i was i was a lockdown away from probably not surviving anyways so i predicted
00:18:23.080the next lockdown was going to be at thanksgiving and that's the only one i was wrong about because
00:18:28.000it came around christmas time the last one so i just thought i'm not gonna let this happen i'm
00:18:34.740gonna i'm gonna go out with a fight and i stood my ground and i stood for what i believed to be
00:18:39.520right and those tickets being dropped proves that i was right the whole time you know kelly i
00:18:46.600I want to go back in time a little bit.
00:18:49.760I spent a lot of my, the first decade of this century in Kingston working at a radio station called K-Rock.
00:18:57.200And I remember Kingston to be a warm, welcoming and loving place.
00:19:02.380I mean, I made so many great friends there and I had so many great memories in Kingston.
00:19:11.840What kind of opposition have you faced in the last couple of years from people?
00:19:16.160Did you get a lot of a lot of hate? Well, of course, from the mainstream media side of things, as you know, how corrupt the mainstream media is and how bought off it is.
00:19:27.640So the mainstream media made me out to be the villain. I was the bad guy. You know, I was endangering people's lives.
00:19:34.540You know, I was that guy. So they twisted everything to, you know, for their own narrative, which they always do.
00:19:41.300and that's kind of how things took off once I took the stance with the Novak passports and
00:19:47.860the people great people still it's more the the government side of things but I've had a lot of
00:19:55.960support obviously the people that just follow the mainstream media and believed in all of this virus
00:20:00.960and everything that was going on they believed that I was a danger to to the community and I
00:20:05.720and I understand that. That's where they're at. But the amount of support I had from other people
00:20:11.780was pretty crazy. I'll give you an example. When I said no to the VAX passports the week of
00:20:18.680September 22nd, that first week, by that Sunday, I was running out of food. I couldn't even keep up
00:20:26.100to the demand. There was people driving from as much as five hours away just to come and have
00:20:30.680lunch and say, thank you for standing up. Thank you for battling this injustice that they're
00:20:35.020throwing on us so it was pretty humbling and pretty overwhelming i remember watching a video
00:20:40.720one night from you guys at jack tuesdays and i looked like there was about 50 people crowded
00:20:46.080into this one space i'm not sure if there were i think there might have been a game or something
00:20:49.860on tv but it looked like you guys had just gotten a real good piece of news and you were celebrating
00:20:54.260something and i thought wow that's great and our friend jeff stone said you got to get kelly on the
00:20:58.680Aaron. Uh, I think I reached out to you right now. That's right. That's an investigation
00:21:05.060and security. And, and I thought, you know, uh, I'll reach out and I did. And then things just
00:21:10.640kind of spiraled out of control because I believe at that point we're still in the middle of
00:21:14.840lockdowns or reopenings, lockdowns or reopenings. You were busy with many different things.
00:21:19.520What method did you use to fight all of this nonsense in court?
00:21:25.460Well, I've self-represented from day one, and I obviously, they took everything from me, so I was forced to do that.
00:21:33.160I didn't have the financial means to even pay for a lawyer.
00:21:36.860Luckily, I've had a paralegal, her name's Jane Scarf. She's an amazing woman.0.99
00:21:40.820She's been a big help. Another good friend of mine, Dave Freedom, who had similar charges,
00:21:45.000but on the criminal side for protesting in Toronto, his charges were dropped too.
00:21:50.260And what we've all stood by through this process is the Canadian Bill of Rights.
00:21:54.180And every time I've used that in court cases, they've ignored it.
00:21:57.800Even in my last public health appeal, we put in four new case laws that proved that the Canadian Bill of Rights is municipal and provincial as well.
00:22:06.240See, they try to tell you it's just a federal thing.
00:22:08.400But even going back to that, it was federal from day one for me because of the enforcement side.
00:22:15.200Section 25 of the criminal code, which is policing, is enforcement.
00:22:20.400So it was always has been that they know the they know the power of the Bill of Rights, the Bill of Rights.
00:22:25.860So they've been pushing me away from it. And that's what we've stood by.
00:22:29.000And it was interesting, Kelly, I'm sorry to interrupt you, but I've spoken to several lawyers in the past couple of years and I've said, hey, what about the Bill of Rights?
00:22:36.220There's a group going around saying that this is definitely a way to get off of these things, because unlike the charter, there is no section one.
00:22:44.240There is reasonable limits, right? Yeah, there is no way.
00:22:46.900And reasonable limits can be defined as anything, as we found out in the past few years.
00:22:50.880But the Bill of Rights is an absolute thing.
00:22:53.440And these lawyers all came back to me one by one, and they said this.
00:25:42.380I cried out to God, and he lifted me up.
00:25:45.100So the last two years of my life, as much as I've lost, I've gained so much more.
00:25:50.620I've got a community of people that have supported me, people who are believers in God.
00:25:55.580It's just amazing. So when I put that sign up, St. Odovac's Passports, all welcome at Jack's on September 6th, God compelled me to put that sign up.
00:26:06.860And I was obedient. And because I was obedient, he has seen this through.
00:26:10.660So all the downs that we've had and times that we thought we were going to beat these guys and they overturned my appeals and didn't accept it.
00:26:17.700I didn't lose faith. I just kept my faith in God that this was going to work out and he was going to take care of it.
00:26:22.680Because you've probably heard the saying, God doesn't give you more than you can handle.
00:26:26.240But I add to it and say, he also doesn't set you up to fail.
00:26:29.180If he puts you in a position to do something, he's going to see it through.
00:26:32.880And because I was obedient, this is where he's taken me.
00:37:10.300my goodness look at the bedlam it's outrageous how terrible this whole thing turned out the
00:37:23.180violence i can't even watch does that make me that's right that's right0.91
00:37:29.240if i put that on my social media that i would not raise my grandkids and now it's value
00:37:39.500Friends, this was a bunch of people who got together to protest the trans curriculum that is being implemented in schools right now, not just in Manitoba, but all across the country.
00:37:54.580And it's amazing to me the conduct of the school board trustees when faced with people like this who just want a rational conversation and a rational debate.
00:38:05.640They get up, they walk out, they call names, then they call the police and claim that there is a threat of violence. They're scared. Which is absolutely outrageous. So they released, the school board did, they released a letter to people today. And here it is.
00:38:27.360It says, good day. We deeply regret and apologize for allowing our board meeting to be a venue for hate. Due to an unruly group of attendees that disrupted the regular board meeting, June 20th, the agenda was abbreviated. In other words, they got up and they ran up.
00:38:46.320a venue for hate the safety and well-being of our community including board members and staff
00:38:56.400present at the meeting were the prime considerations in making the decision
00:38:59.940okay so that's what they're telling you and this is why they don't want people recording these
00:39:06.280meetings so they can lie about it the very next day and there's already a hit piece article in
00:39:12.340the winnipeg free press about this the louis real school division board of trustees and senior
00:39:18.140leadership team want to reiterate a commitment to safe caring and inclusive working and learning
00:39:23.340environments which includes the boardroom the aggressive and threatening behaviors including
00:39:28.240the homophobic transphobic and racist remarks our community was subjected to yesterday evening
00:39:33.700will not be allowed and that comes from christian mikalak who's the superintendent of schools and
00:39:39.620the ceo and sandy nemeth who is the chair of the louis riel school division board of trustees which
00:39:46.180it's all absolutely outrageous so let's go to the guy who caused the commotion last night here he is
00:39:56.700patrick allard pat it looked like things were going well until you stood up at the podium and
00:40:01.040started talking yeah like they uh were very apprehensive about me being in the room the
00:40:06.980whole time uh first say thanks thanks for uh getting me on here i haven't been on your show
00:40:12.520for a while so it's been a while welcome back man and i was thinking about i think i may have been
00:40:16.860your first guest way back when you started these shows yeah it was in the first month definitely i
00:40:22.820remember that night having you on i remember downstairs on my couch yeah and i was just
00:40:27.980watching this new guy shadow davis who i remember from the radio when i was younger i'm like i'm
00:40:34.560a request to jump in and you accepted my request and there we go why not uh since then things have
00:40:42.220turned a lot you've become a louder voice in the community for what's right i mean let's be honest
00:40:48.280you stand up for logic for common sense for what's right uh francine champagne uh this is the reason
00:40:55.840that people showed up at this uh school board uh trustee meeting last night francine champagne is
00:41:01.300the school trustee who was suspended for three months without pay
00:41:06.280because apparently she breached the code of conduct for her opinions on social media.
00:41:12.720So how many people did show up, Pat, to that meeting last night?
00:41:15.340Yeah, so there was about 35 people, I think.
00:41:30.700This was just a bunch of people who seemed to organically come together with the same cause, and that was to support Francine.
00:41:40.320Unlike the news release and the free press article, it had nothing to do with the LGBTQ community or whatever.
00:41:51.800This was about our friend being unrightfully suspended without due process.
00:41:58.960and a lot of people in attendance just wanted to see what these posts were that
00:42:04.440were labeled homophobic and transphobic and they refused to show us uh just before i was up there
00:42:11.920before terry wayne stirby was up there and he asked where's these posts and all the board
00:42:19.760replied back to him was like these are homophobic and transphobic posts but where's the posts
00:42:24.800And the one post that, what's her name, Maggie McIntosh from the Free Press talks about, the post says something about sexualization of our children in schools is all part of the agenda.
01:01:59.640And then the RCMP came out with a tweet at around five o'clock Eastern that day saying, no, no, no, no.
01:02:06.000We're not investigating Justin Trudeau for anything to do with SNC-Lavalin.
01:02:10.100Well, they didn't actually say we're not investigating Justin Trudeau or.
01:02:16.180Or any evidence we may have regarding SNC-Lavalin.
01:02:20.760And what they said was, we're not investigating political interference into the court proceedings with the SNC-Lavalin case.
01:02:28.040They didn't specifically mention Trudeau or any members of his government in that tweet.0.99
01:02:34.700But we took it as, well, I guess this is just a bunch of crap.0.99
01:02:38.600And Trudeau is going to skate again.0.99
01:02:41.360So there was a great article that came out in the National Post today by Carson Jurema.
01:02:46.340rcmp obfuscations come to justin trudeau's rescue in the snc lavaland scandal so it turns out
01:02:55.700the rcmp was in fact investigating allegations of political interference into corruption charges
01:03:02.120against engineering firm snc lavaland the story first published by the national post on monday
01:03:08.040morning was not part of some conservative plot or the result of irresponsible journalism as all
01:03:13.780purpose liberal cheerleader gerald butts puts it and if you follow that guy on twitter what a piece
01:03:20.760of work he is the scandal which involved the prime minister in a central role was under police
01:03:27.200scrutiny until at least january of this year and no matter how much liberal partisans want to
01:03:31.900conjure up conspiracy theories this is a fact the maudis as was initially reported denied an access
01:03:40.940to information requests seeking details about any investigation into Justin Trudeau and others
01:03:46.240who tried to pressure former Attorney General Jody Wilson-Raybould into intervening in the
01:03:51.800prosecution of SNC-Lavalin, which is politically important in Quebec. The ethics commissioner
01:03:58.380previously found that Trudeau had broken ethics laws. In a letter to advocacy group Democracy
01:04:04.420watch dated May 25th, the RCMP explained that 86 of 96 pages were redacted because this matter is
01:04:13.040under investigation. The RCMP's default to secrecy is notorious. A matter being under investigation
01:04:19.360is not some spell that precludes making information public. But as any reporter who has covered the
01:04:25.400RCMP knows, the Mounties sure do believe it's magic. It was not until early, sorry, nearly 12
01:04:32.560hours after the post first asked the RCMP for comment and hours after the story had been
01:04:38.040published online, that the RCMP responded with an email that said the statement in a May 2023
01:04:44.540access to information release was sent using information available at the time. The email
01:04:50.920further stated the investigation had concluded in January because there was insufficient evidence
01:04:56.720to lay criminal charges. So yes, the RCMP was investigating the government's handling of the
01:05:02.540SNC-Lavalin issue, and this is the first time it had commented on the issue since the fall of 2019.
01:05:10.380As for the discrepancy between the RCMP claiming the investigation was ongoing in May, but also
01:05:16.300claiming it had been concluded in January, at best, this amounts to typical bureaucratic
01:05:22.000incompetence, the result of which is the public has been deprived of information they have a right
01:05:28.100to know. In a country where passport applications can cause the machinery of government to seize
01:05:33.700up, the suggestion that different parts of the RCMP are clueless as to what each other is doing
01:05:38.980seems plausible. Yet, in the hours between when the National Post story was published and the
01:05:45.060details were clarified, the way in which the RCMP responded publicly to this issue would seem at
01:05:50.700least to a cynical observer calculated to benefit Trudeau and those around him. At 5 30 p.m.
01:05:57.940Eastern, an email from the PMO directed National Post inquiries to the RCMP, which at this point
01:06:03.960also still hadn't responded to the Post. At the time, it might have seemed like both the PMO and
01:06:10.440the police were trying to evade questions from a reporter, as is often the case. But then at 6.01
01:06:16.600PM, the RCMP posted on Twitter that it can confirm it is not investigating allegations of political
01:06:23.200interference in the trial of SNC-Lavalin. The post, which rests on the words, it is not,
01:06:29.680was obviously lacking context and clearly did not deny the Liberals were ever under investigation,
01:06:35.740nor did it allude to the fact the RCMP did state in May the matter was still being investigated or
01:06:42.080that this statement was apparently an error and that the file was closed four months prior.
01:06:47.520As a way to inform Canadians on a matter of intense public interest, the tweet was less than useless, but it was enough for liberal partisans and Trudeau apologists, including those in the media who work for Post competitors, to gleefully declare the story was false or based on questionable claims, as one Toronto Star columnist posted on social media.
01:07:09.380The same people who chastise other reporters for writing crime stories based on what police tell them, racist propaganda, if you haven't heard, took a carefully worded RCMP tweet as gospel.
01:07:22.600So desperate are some journalists in this country to wipe away any dirt that may sprinkle upon the prime minister.
01:07:29.640Interesting comment from a journalist, don't you think?
01:07:33.780The police are lying and cannot be trusted to fund them,
01:07:37.020unless, of course, they say something that could be generously interpreted
01:07:40.080as exonerating a liberal, then what the police say is sacrosanct.
01:07:45.580We don't know the exact details or reasoning that led the RCMP's infuriating communications on Monday.
01:07:52.360The end result of this latest SNC-Lavalin story, whether intended by the RCMP or not,
01:07:57.380was for the police to run interference for the Trudeau liberals.
01:08:00.940The story should have been about the revelation the government was under investigation at least at one point,
01:08:06.020or if the RCMP had not redacted its files, a story about why it concluded an investigation without criminal charges.
01:08:13.760Instead, it became a story about the RCMP's incompetence and completely bogus allegations of journalistic malfeasance.
01:08:21.600The public remains in the dark, and that suits the Prime Minister just fine.
01:08:32.440In the United States, according to the Associated Press via Newsmax, GOP-led House censures Democrat Adam Schiff, outspoken Trump critic.
01:08:44.180Now, they voted to censure him today after the censure motion was amended this past week to take away the $16 million possible fine Schiff could have faced if it was found he had been lying in the House of Representatives.
01:09:00.820With that removed, the House voted 214 to 206 with six abstentions in order to censure Adam Schiff, who will have to stand in front of the House of Representatives for a rebuke in the coming days.
01:09:17.700He says he will do it holding a badge of honor.
